The following day, Wang Jian beckoned Han Xifeng to his chambers, intending to engage in a serious discussion with her.
As Han Xifeng stood before him, her nerves were palpable. It was understandable, given that Wang Jian had taken her virginity while extorting her tribe, and she had no idea what reason he could have for summoning her now.
Wang Jian, aware of her discomfort, decided to break the ice. "Do you hate me?" he asked, cutting straight to the point.
Han Xifeng didn't mince her words in response. "Considering what you did to my people and me, should I not hate you?" Her tone was icy and filled with disdain.
Wang Jian acknowledged her justified anger, but he wanted to know the full extent of it. "I understand why you would hate me, but I want to know the specifics," he said, his voice calm and measured.
Han Xifeng's response was scathing, "Isn't it evident? You violated me while extorting my tribe. Moreover, you killed my lover, and it appears that everything was part of your grand scheme. You targeted us all from the beginning, and you used me to get Fen Shuying's heart and body. I cannot comprehend how Su Xian could be in love with a person like you. However, her attitude makes it apparent that she, too, fell victim to your reprehensible schemes."
As Wang Jian continued to process Han Xifeng's words, he realized that he needed to take a different approach to manipulate her. He understood that she was a smart and strong-willed woman, and he couldn't just use brute force or conventional manipulation tactics on her.
Instead, he decided to use the psychological principle of cognitive dissonance to make her feel responsible for her own actions. He started the conversation by discussing the motives behind his actions, mentioning how everything he did was to protect himself from his enemy, Lin Feng.

"You must understand, Han Xifeng," Wang Jian said, "Lin Feng was my enemy. He wanted me dead, and I couldn't just sit back and wait for him to kill me. If not for him, I would never have targeted your tribe or anyone else."
Han Xifeng listened to him intently, nodding slightly in agreement. She knew firsthand how powerful Lin Feng could be and how dangerous it was to be his enemy.
Wang Jian then continued, "I did what I had to do to destroy my enemy completely. And I know you inadvertently helped me acquire Fen Shuying's love."
This statement caught Han Xifeng off guard, and she shook her head in confusion. "What do you mean? How did I help you?"
Wang Jian calmly replied, "By signing that deal with me to kill her father and then even lying to her that it was none other than Lin Feng who did it, you helped me get closer to her. I saw her vulnerability, and I used that to make her mine."
Han Xifeng's expression changed from confusion to shock. She never realized her actions could have such consequences.
"I...I never thought of it like that," Han Xifeng finally admitted, her voice shaking slightly. "I guess I am responsible for what I did to Fen Shuying."
Wang Jian nodded, satisfied with his progress. He knew that by making her feel guilty, he could potentially make her more compliant to his desires.
"Now that we understand each other," he said, "I hope we can work together towards a better future for both of us."

"Your assumption is misguided. I will never collaborate with you," Han Xifeng retorted with a frigid tone.
Wang Jian regarded Han Xifeng with an air of annoyance. "Your stubbornness is unnecessary and foolish," he remarked coolly. "Consider this: you've already committed the worst. At this moment, your tribe is aligned with me, and it's in their best interest to remain that way. We'll be departing this region shortly and returning to the mainland."
He adopted a solemn expression. "In the Everlasting Mystic Empire, numerous sects, clans, and associations will be displeased when your tribe returns. The allocation of resources and territory will change accordingly, prompting them to target you. Think about it, who can save you from their assaults? Only me."
Han Xifeng listened intently to Wang Jian's words, considering the truth in what he said. After a moment of contemplation, she spoke up.
"You make a compelling argument," she admitted, her tone softer than before. "But how can I trust you? You have already shown that you are capable of great deceit and manipulation."
Wang Jian's expression remained impassive. "I understand your concern, but I give you my word. I will never harm your Miracle Angel Tribe as long as you remain loyal to me. Our alliance will only strengthen our positions and ensure our safety."
Han Xifeng hesitated for a moment before finally nodding in agreement. "Very well," she said. "I accept your offer. But remember, any harm that comes to my tribe will result in dire consequences."
Wang Jian nodded in acknowledgement, a faint smile playing at the corners of his lips. "I would expect nothing less," he said.
Wang Jian rose from his seat and strode towards Han Xifeng, his face twisted into a sly grin. "Well then, it seems that our serious talk has come to an end," he said, his voice low and menacing.
Han Xifeng instinctively recoiled from him, taking a step back. "Why are you approaching me like that?" she asked, her voice shaking with fear. "I didn't agree to anything like that."
Wang Jian's expression darkened. "This is our personal matter," he growled, "and you don't have a say in it. You're already mine, whether you like it or not."
With that, he lunged towards her, his arm snaking around her waist and pulling her close to his chest. Han Xifeng struggled, but his grip was too strong.
Wang Jian merely chuckled, pressing his body even closer to hers. "Relax, my dear," he whispered into her ear. "I'm just claiming what's mine. And soon, you'll see that you want it just as much as I do."

Wang Jian's cunning scheme had failed to win over Han Xifeng's favor, but it had undoubtedly bolstered her loyalty towards him to a considerable degree.
Her loyalty score had climbed to a respectable 60, which was satisfactory for the time being.
Wang Jian had the capability to act in a way that would have earned him Han Xifeng's favor, but he deemed it unworthy to forego the benefits he had already secured.
Therefore, he resorted to manipulation to ensure that she remained submissive to him while maintaining her loyalty.
In the ensuing days, Wang Jian dedicated himself to honing the spirits of his female companions. Despite being proficient in the Origin Realm, their aptitude for harnessing their spirits remained rudimentary at best.
In what seemed like a mere blink of an eye, a week had gone by, and during this time, Wang Jian had been occupying different chambers every night.
On the first night, he was with Su Xian, followed by Fen Shuying on the second night, Kang Huian on the third night, Han Xifeng on the fourth night, and Lady Xia on the fifth night.
Although some of the women did not have romantic feelings towards him, they gradually became accustomed to these nightly activities with Wang Jian, which became almost routine.
Wang Jian had two compelling reasons for staying in the Zhenguan Region and delaying his return to the Everlasting Mystic Empire.
Firstly, he waited for all the women under Su Xian's tutelage to advance to the Spirit Realm, which happened swiftly. Even the slowest among them only took five days to accomplish this task.
The second reason was more critical; he needed the three tribes to gather all the valuable resources available in Zhenguan Region, resources that were considered rare and almost extinct outside the region. These resources included rare herbs, sand, and other valuable materials that could only be found in this area.
Unbeknownst to Wang Jian, word of his return from exile had spread like wildfire throughout the Everlasting Mystic Empire during the past week. Rumors and whispers had circulated among the various sects, clans, and associations, sparking curiosity and fear alike.
Soon, Wang Jian's preparations were finally complete, and he was ready to lead the three tribes out of the Zhenguan Region. A massive procession followed them, with each tribe's members trailing behind them. The procession was so long that it took up the entire road, and the sound of their footsteps echoed in the air.
The carriages that carried their belongings were intricately designed, and adorned with intricate patterns and colours. They were packed with various resources and treasures that they had gathered during their time in the region. These resources were essential for the survival and growth of their tribes in the Everlasting Mystic Empire.
As Wang Jian and the three tribes made their preparations to leave, the residents of the Zhenguan Region breathed a collective sigh of relief. They had endured Wang Jian's harsh rule with little hope of a reprieve, but now they saw a glimmer of hope for their own rise to power.
As they watched the caravan of carriages depart, they began to plot and scheme, eager to establish their own dominance in the region. Wang Jian's iron-fisted rule had held them back, but now they were free to pursue their own ambitions.
Wang Jian sat in the carriage, looking out at the passing scenery, while his five women sat around him. Su Xian and Fen Shuying were sitting next to him, while Kang Huian and Han Xifeng appeared hesitant.
Su Xian was the first to break the silence. "Your Highness, can you tell us more about the Everlasting Mystic Empire? You mentioned that there are four great empires and that we are from one of them, but I don't know much about the others."
Wang Jian nodded. "Of course, my love. The Everlasting Mystic Empire is one of the four great empires of the continent. We have dozens of vassals, and the Royal Family resides in the capital. The Royal Family possesses the greatest influence and commands a powerful army, administration, excellent weapons, armor, limitless wealth, and resources. After the Royal Family, the religions possess the greatest influence."
Fen Shuying chimed in. "What are the three primary religions in the world, Your Highness?"
Wang Jian smiled. "The Church of the Divine Light is a prominent religion in the Everlasting Mystic Empire, which worships a deity known as the Divine Light. The Crimson Cult is a mysterious and secretive group that practices a dark and twisted form of worship. And the Way of the Four Winds is a diverse religion that draws from various spiritual practices."
Kang Huian spoke up, her voice hesitant. "What about the sects? You mentioned there are four major sects in the Everlasting Mystic Empire. Can you tell us more about them?"
Wang Jian nodded. "Yes, of course. The Heavenly Blade Sect is a martial arts sect known for its swordsmanship. The Celestial Dragon Sect is a mystical sect that specializes in magic and divination. The Lotus Blossom Sect is an all-female sect known for its beauty and grace, as well as its formidable combat skills. And the Jade Serpent Sect is a notorious assassin sect feared throughout the empire."
Han Xifeng finally spoke up, also hesitant. "And the various associations? What are they?"
Wang Jian smiled at her. "There are many associations, including but not limited to, The Dao of Alchemy Society, The Heavenly Amulet Master's Association, The Celestial Talisman's Guild, The Silk Road Traders, The Lotus Assassins, The White Lotus Society, and The Brotherhood of the Steel Fist."
Lady Xia remained silent, not asking any questions, but her eyes were fixed on Wang Jian with a mixture of fear and animosity.
Wang Jian noticed Lady Xia's intense gaze and turned to her with a sly grin. "What about you, Lady Xia? Do you have any questions about the Everlasting Mystic Empire?"
Lady Xia shook her head and looked away, her heart racing. She had to be careful not to give away her affair with Wang Jian in front of the other women. She couldn't let them suspect anything.
Wang Jian raised an eyebrow. "No questions? That's unlike you, Lady Xia.."
Lady Xia forced a smile. "I'm just enjoying listening to everyone else's questions and your answers, Wang Jian."
Wang Jian chuckled. "Well, if you insist. But if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask."
Fen Shuying looked at Lady Xia and spoke, "Maybe my mother is just shy, Jian."
Lady Xia shot her daughter a glare, but Wang Jian laughed. "Ah, yes, that might be true."
Fen Shuying giggled. "But she's also strong and fierce like a tiger."
Wang Jian nodded, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Indeed, my dear Shuying. Lady Xia is full of surprises."
Lady Xia gritted her teeth, feeling the heat rise in her cheeks.
She had to change the subject before Wang Jian could tease her any further. "Wang Jian, what about the neighboring empires? Do they have their own religions and sects?"
Wang Jian nodded. "Yes, they do. The Blue Moon Empire, for example, has the Jade Emperor's Temple as its primary religion, and the Heavenly Thunder Sect is a renowned martial arts sect. The Golden Sun Empire has the Church of the Sun God as its main religion, and the Dragon's Breath Sect is a powerful mystical sect. The Red Phoenix Empire has the Phoenix Temple as its primary religion, and the Burning Blade Sect is a notorious assassin sect."
Su Xian leaned in, her eyes shining with curiosity. "What about the smaller kingdoms and tribes outside the four great empires? Do they have their own religions and sects?"
Wang Jian nodded. "Yes, they do. Some have their own unique religions and practices, while others follow the religions and sects of the larger empires. It's a diverse and complex world out there."
As the women listened to Wang Jian's descriptions of the Everlasting Mystic Empire, they were filled with awe and wonder at the vastness of the world beyond their familiar Zhenguan Region.
With each passing moment, their curiosity grew, and they eagerly peppered him with questions about the empire's intricate political system, its powerful military, and the diverse cultures and religions that flourished within its borders.
As Wang Jian regaled them with stories of his travels across the empire, they hung on his every word, enchanted by the vivid images he painted of the bustling cities, the verdant forests, and the soaring mountains that he had seen.
They could hardly believe that there existed a world so rich and varied beyond their own small corner of the continent.

After travelling through the dense forest for almost two days, the group finally reached the outskirts of the Zhenguan Region, where they encountered a mysterious blue barrier.
Wang Jian, being well-equipped, revealed a treasured artifact gifted by his mother that possessed the ability to create a dimensional rift within the barrier.
It took several moments of careful manipulation for the device to activate, and it ultimately succeeded in creating an opening. The carriages cautiously passed through the opened barrier.
As they passed through the barrier, they found themselves amidst a vast crowd of armored soldiers.
Their attire was indicative of them being the Royal Guards of the Everlasting Mystic Empire, specifically members of the prestigious Iron Fist.
Wang Jian, with his knowledge of the empire, quickly identified them.
The Iron Fist was a group of elite warriors who held strict ranks and answered directly to the Royal Family.
Each member possessed an incredible amount of power, with even the weakest among them being at the Origin Realm.
Those below the Lord Realm were merely common guards, while the Lord Rank cultivators held the Major Realm.
The King Realm cultivators, the most powerful of them all, held the General Realm. It was evident that the Iron Fist was a force to be reckoned with.
The gathering of Iron Fist members outside the barrier indicated the presence of someone from the Royal Family.
As Wang Jian surveyed the crowd, he spotted a luxuriously decorated carriage bearing the insignia of the Emperor's concubine.
A wide grin spread across his face, and he turned to his women to share this news. "It seems like my mother has arrived," he exclaimed. "We should make haste and go meet her!"
Su Xian and Fen Shuying exchanged glances, their faces flushing with embarrassment. They wanted to make a good impression on their potential mother-in-law, the Emperor's concubine.
On the other hand, Kang Huian, Han Xifeng, and Lady Xia appeared troubled and conflicted. They were unsure of how to behave in front of someone of such high stature, and their anxiety was palpable.
Lady Xia, in particular, was tense and apprehensive.
"Let's get out of the carriage," Wang Jian suggested. Well, his suggestion was more like an order.
Very soon, they left the carriage and were standing on the ground.
After they left the carriage, the Iron Fist kneeled in front of Wang Jian as they paid their respects to him.
"Get up," Wang Jian commanded lightly.
His eyes were actually fixated on that luxurious carriage. Very soon, the gate to that carriage opened.
As Bai Liqin stepped out of her elaborately decorated carriage, her long black hair cascaded down her back in loose waves. Her brown eyes were bright and sparkling, and her features were refined and elegant.
She was dressed in an incredibly luxurious royal dress embroidered with gold and silver thread and adorned with precious gems. The dress flowed around her like a river of silk and trailed behind her as she walked towards Wang Jian.
Her appearance exuded regal grace, and it was evident that she had the bearing of a queen.
As she approached, she smiled warmly at Wang Jian, and her eyes twinkled with pride. "My son, it's so good to see you again," she said as she hugged him tightly.
Wang Jian hugged his mother back and smiled widely. "Mother, it's been too long since we've last seen each other."
As Bai Liqin approached Wang Jian's carriage, she couldn't help but admire the other women who were with him. She turned to her son and asked, "Are all of these beautiful women your companions?"
Wang Jian couldn't help but feel amused by his mother's directness. "Yes, Mother. Except for Lady Xia here, who is actually my wife Fen Shuying's mother."
"I see," Bai Liqin replied, taking in Lady Xia's presence. She then turned towards the other women and jokingly said, "Well, you should greet your mother-in-law properly, shouldn't you?"
Su Xian and Fen Shuying blushed with embarrassment but quickly got down from the carriage to bow respectfully to Bai Liqin. Kang Huian and Han Xifeng also followed suit, though their expressions were more troubled and unsure.
Bai Liqin smiled warmly at all of them, taking in their different personalities and appearances. She was impressed by their beauty and poise but also curious about their backgrounds and talents.
"I'm pleased to meet you all," she said graciously. "I hope we can get to know each other better in the days to come."
The women all bowed in respect to Bai Liqin, greeting her with warm and polite words. Bai Liqin smiled at them, pleased with their behavior.
"I'm happy to see that my son has found so many wonderful women," she said, her eyes sparkling with pride. "You are all welcome to the Everlasting Mystic Empire. I hope you enjoy your stay."
Wang Jian grinned at his mother's words, feeling grateful for her warm welcome. "Thank you, mother," he said. "We are honored to be here."
Bai Liqin turned her attention to Lady Xia, who still looked unsure of how to act around her. "And you, Lady Xia," she said. "I'm happy to meet the mother of my daughter-in-law. Please don't feel uneasy around me. We are family now."
Lady Xia nodded her head, feeling a bit more relaxed. "Thank you, your Majesty," she said. "I am grateful for your kindness."
Bai Liqin smiled at her again. "There's no need to be so formal," she said. "Just call me Bai Liqin. We are family, after all."
Her gaze then shifted to Wang Jian, and with a soft voice, she spoke, "I have brought a fleet of twelve majestic Gryphons and a group of seven-Winged Wyverns. The Gryphons will serve as our steeds, while the Winged Wyverns will take charge of carrying the other carriages and cargo."
"That would be a wonderful idea, mother," Wang Jian spoke.
Bai Liqin, Wang Jian, and his women took their designated seats on the majestic griffins, ready for their flight to the Everlasting Mystic Empire.
The griffin under Wang Jian was quite spacious and allowed him to sit comfortably alongside Su Xian, Fen Shuying, Han Xifeng, Kang Huian, and Lady Xia.
64c3e69bf75c4d1715a59001
Wang Jian's mother, Bai Liqin, rode a griffin alone, with an air of regal elegance. The members of the Iron Fist were quick to follow her lead and climb onto the other ten griffins, their imposing figures fitting perfectly with the majestic birds.
When Bai Liqin offered Lady Xia a ride on the griffin with her, Wang Jian stepped in and remarked that his mother's rough riding style might not suit Lady Xia.
Although Bai Liqin raised an eyebrow in doubt, she knew her son was merely giving an excuse. After all, her riding skills were impeccable.
Bai Liqin looked at Lady Xia and then back at her son, understanding the real reason behind his words.
A knowing smile appeared on her face as she agreed with him and allowed Lady Xia to ride on the same griffin as Wang Jian and his women.
Wang Jian occupied the rearmost spot on the griffin, while Su Xian settled in the foremost position. Fen Shuying took her place behind Su Xian, Kang Huian behind her, and Han Xifeng behind Kang Huian. Finally, Lady Xia secured a spot just ahead of Wang Jian.
The griffins soared higher and higher, and the wind became more and more intense. Wang Jian's women, including Lady Xia, couldn't help but revel in the sensation of flight. They marveled at how the world looked from above and the freedom they felt in the sky.
Suddenly, Lady Xia felt Wang Jian's arm wrap around her waist and slide under her top, caressing her soft skin. She felt a jolt of panic but didn't want to make a scene in front of the others. So, she asked in a hushed voice, "What are you doing, Your Highness?"
Wang Jian's face came close to hers, and he whispered, "Just enjoying the ride, my dear. Can't I show a little affection to my lover?"
Lady Xia was taken aback by his words. She hated their adulterous relationship but knew she had no choice in the matter. She could only respond with a forced smile and say, "Please, Your Highness, not now. We're in public."
Wang Jian's chuckle was soft, his warm breath caressing Lady Xia's ear. "No need to fret. We're ahead of the other griffins, so no one can see what I'm doing," he whispered. "To them, I'm just steering the griffin with these ropes, but they have no idea that my feet can do all the work. These ropes are merely decorative."
He further whispered into Lady Xia's ear, "You should focus on controlling your moans. We wouldn't want anyone to hear, would we?"
Lady Xia's heart raced with a mixture of fear and arousal as Wang Jian's fingers explored her body. She hated the way he made her feel, but she couldn't deny the pleasure he was giving her. She clenched her teeth and bit down on her lip to keep from making any noise.
Wang Jian's touch became more aggressive as he pinched and squeezed her breasts. Lady Xia's body betrayed her as she grew hot and flushed with desire.
But even as she tried to resist him, a small part of her couldn't help but enjoy the illicit thrill of their secret rendezvous.
Abruptly, Wang Jian ceased his lascivious advances towards Lady Xia, retracting his hands from her body.
The reason for this sudden halt was that he had discerned other griffins drawing near, their flight path intersecting with theirs at an angle that would make his behavior quite conspicuous.
As Wang Jian's hands retreated, Lady Xia let out a breath of relief. Yet, a tiny fraction of her longed for more of his touch. Her body yearned for his caresses, and her mind was consumed with the passion that he had ignited within her.
Despite the swift pace of the griffins, the journey to the capital was arduous and prolonged, spanning over the course of five long days.
After flying continuously for four hours, the group would stop to rest not because the griffins lacked stamina, but rather to allow the Winged Wyverns to catch up and take a break as well.
During these intervals, Wang Jian conversed with his mother, seeking to grasp the shifts that had transpired in the empire since his exile.
He inquired about various individuals who had emerged as noteworthy talents and hidden geniuses.
Wang Jian's primary objective in seeking information about these individuals was to discover a protagonist among them.
"Son, there is one talent that has risen extremely swiftly," Bai Liqin began. "His name is Zhang Fei. He is from the Windhaven Kingdom."
"That's one of our vassal kingdoms. In fact, it's one of our weakest kingdoms," Wang Jian commented as he fell in deep thought.
Bai Liqin cleared his throat before continuing, "Zhang Fei was born to a reputed clan in Windhaven Kingdom. He had a fiancé, but he was a trash of the clan, so she broke the engagement with him."
Wang Jian raised an eyebrow in curiosity, "Why did she break the engagement?"
"Because Zhang Fei was weak and deemed unworthy of the clan's name," Bai Liqin explained.
Bai Liqin took a deep breath before answering, "It's a bit of a mystery, but it seems that after his engagement was broken, Zhang Fei suddenly began excelling in many different fields, including martial arts. He even struck a deal with local associations, and his clan's influence and power rose rapidly."
Wang Jian furrowed his brow in thought, "Interesting. Do you have any idea how he managed to strike such a deal?"
Bai Liqin shook her head, "No, the details are still unclear, but it seems that Zhang Fei has some powerful connections in the alchemist community, the array association, the trade organizations, and many other groups."
Wang Jian leaned forward, "Impressive. But what about his enemies? Surely he must have made some powerful enemies if he had risen so swiftly."
By this point, he was sure that Zhang Fei was a Protagonist.
And since Zhang Fei was a Protagonist, he ought to have lots of enemies and must have destroyed many clans and even factions.
Bai Liqin's expression grew grave. "Many clans and associations have fallen to Zhang Fei's might," she said. "The Li clan, a powerful family that had ruled over a large swath of the kingdom for generations, fell to him when he used his connections in the alchemist community to poison their leader. The Azure Dragon Association, a group of powerful cultivators, also fell to him when he defeated their top cultivators in battle."
Curious about the Windhaven Kingdom's ruling faction, Wang Jian asked, "Under whose territory does the Windhaven Kingdom fall?"
Bai Liqin was quick to respond, "It's your ninth brother, Wang Lan."
Wang Jian suppressed the urge to roll his eyes as he recalled Wang Lan's arrogant personality. He suspected that this guy would most likely be a villain and serve as a stepping stone for Zhang Fei.
With all the gathered information, Wang Jian crafted a strategy to confront Zhang Fei. But first, he needed to test the waters with the protagonist.
Based on the available information, Wang Jian inferred that Zhang Fei was a reincarnated individual and probably had expertise from his past life. However, it was difficult to gauge the true extent of his power.
Thus, it was imperative for Wang Jian to uncover Zhang Fei's cheat or any other advantage he possessed.
Soon, the group's brief rest came to an end, and they mounted the griffins once more, soaring through the skies towards the capital as swiftly as they could.
64c3e69bf75c4d1715a59001
The five-day journey seemed to pass in an instant as Wang Jian and his companions arrived at the magnificent Royal Capital of the Everlasting Mystic Empire, named Aria.
The bustling city was filled with vibrant colors and sounds, as merchants and nobles went about their daily business under the watchful eyes of the Imperial Palace.
The grandeur of the architecture was breathtaking, with towering spires and ornate decorations adorning the buildings.
Wang Jian's female companions were in awe at the grandeur of the city.
Su Xian's eyes widen as she looks at the breathtaking city. "The capital is truly magnificent. I have never seen such beauty before."
Fen Shuying's mouth opens slightly as she takes in the sight before her. "This is the capital? It's like a dream."
Kang Huian gasps softly as she looks around, her eyes sparkling with wonder. "Everything looks so grand and majestic. It's hard to believe we are actually here."
Han Xifeng's heart races with excitement as she sees the magnificent buildings and ornate decorations. "The architecture is truly a work of art. This is the pinnacle of human achievement."
Wang Jian replied with a sense of pride, "Just wait until your eyes fall upon the Royal Palace. Its magnificence surpasses everything you've seen so far."
As they continued their flight for an hour, the group caught sight of the Royal Palace, a grand structure perched atop a hill overlooking the capital.
The Palace was an enormous structure, with towering walls made of white stone that glittered in the sunlight. The walls encircled a vast complex of buildings, including multiple courtyards, pavilions, and gardens.
The main entrance to the Palace was an impressive gatehouse, adorned with intricate carvings and inlaid with gold.
Beyond the gatehouse was a long, wide avenue, lined with majestic trees and beautifully manicured gardens. The avenue led directly to the main palace, a towering structure with multiple tiers and numerous domes.
Each tier was adorned with elaborate carvings and sculptures, while the domes were covered in shimmering tiles of gold and blue.
As they drew closer, Wang Jian's group could see that the Palace was teeming with activity.
Soldiers in ornate armor patrolled the walls and courtyards, while courtiers and servants bustled about their duties.
The Palace itself seemed to radiate an aura of power and majesty, an impressive symbol of the Everlasting Mystic Empire's might and wealth.
Wang Jian said, "Behold, the Royal Palace of the Everlasting Mystic Empire. Truly, it is a marvel to behold."
His women were truly awe-struck at the magnificence of the palace.
After landing, everyone dismounted their griffins. Bai Liqin approached Wang Jian and spoke in a soft tone, "I shall escort the ladies to their chambers. So, go and greet your father, the Emperor."
"Thank you, Mother," Wang Jian replied with gratitude as he strode off towards the palace gates.
As soon as Wang Jian reached the gates of the palace, he broke into a sprint, his heart pounding with excitement and anticipation. The guards stationed there, recognizing him, quickly opened the gates to let him through.
Wang Jian didn't even spare them a glance as he raced through the courtyard, his long strides eating up the distance.
Finally, he arrived at the Emperor's chambers, where he found his father, Emperor Liang, seated on his throne.
With a deep bow, Wang Jian greeted him and said, "Father, it is an honor to see you again. I cannot express how grateful I am to you for rescinding my exile and allowing me to return to the capital."
The Emperor's face softened as he gazed at his son, pride evident in his eyes. "Jian, my son, it is good to see you again. 'We' are pleased that you have returned to the capital, where you belong."
"It was a grave injustice to exile you, my son," the Emperor said with a heavy heart. "'We' understand your motive to avenge your mother's attack, and 'we', too, had the urge to punish that damned diplomat. However, the constraints of 'our' position rendered 'us' helpless."
Wang Jian could not help but suppress a derisive scoff. He was fully aware that the Emperor's statement was nothing but a blatant falsehood.
Despite the monarch's contrite expression, Wang Jian knew that the Emperor was merely trying to placate him.
"Father, your words fill me with great pride and joy," Wang Jian replied with gratitude.
The Emperor paused for a moment before asking, "'We' have heard that you have subjugated the three tribes that were exiled to the Zhenguan Region. Are they truly loyal to you?"
Wang Jian replied with confidence, "Yes, Father. They have pledged their allegiance to me and are willing to join my faction."
The Emperor nodded in approval, impressed by Wang Jian's leadership and diplomacy.
"Excellent news. The return of these tribes shall undoubtedly augment the power of our Empire. Yet, their comeback may not be well received by other clans and associations in our domain. Therefore, 'we 'bestow upon you full jurisdiction over them, my son. But be wary, for if the word of their return reaches their detractors and they face danger, 'we' shall be powerless to aid them," declared Emperor Liang with a solemn tone.
Wang Jian sensed the Emperor's subtle warning hidden behind the opportunity. He gracefully bowed and spoke, "I am honored by your graciousness, Your Majesty. Rest assured, I will ensure the safety and prosperity of the tribes under my authority. Their growth and progress shall reflect the strength of our great empire."
The Emperor gave a small nod, acknowledging Wang Jian's words, "'We' have faith in your abilities, my son. But you must remember that there are those who will not welcome their return. You must be cautious and discreet."
Wang Jian's expression grew solemn as he spoke, "I understand, Father. I will do everything in my power to accomplish this task."
The Emperor gave him a reassuring smile, "'We' have no doubt that you will, my son. Now, go and rest. You must be weary from your journey."
With a final bow, Wang Jian turned and left the chamber, his mind already working on the plans for the future.
64c3e69bf75c4d1715a59001
Wang Jian strode purposefully towards his mother's chambers, eager to learn the current state of her territory. With each step, he could feel the weight of responsibility on his shoulders.
As he entered the room, he found Bai Liqin, regal and imposing as ever, waiting for him.
Wang Jian entered his mother's chambers, looking straight at her. "Mother, how is the territory?" he asked with concern.
Bai Liqin stood up from her chair and gave him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, my son. Your territory is safe and prosperous. I have made sure of that," she said as she placed a hand on his shoulder.
Wang Jian nodded gratefully before asking, "What is your plan now that I am back?"
Bai Liqin took a deep breath before responding, "I am relinquishing every bit of power over my territory to you. From now on, you will be in charge of everything."
Wang Jian's eyes widened in surprise. "Mother, are you sure about this?"
Bai Liqin nodded firmly. "Yes, I am. I have complete faith in you and your capabilities, my son. You will make sure that the territory continues to prosper."
Wang Jian couldn't help but feel a sense of pride wash over him. "Thank you, mother. I won't disappoint you," he said with a smile.
Bai Liqin then turned to her subordinates and said, "Summon everyone. I have an important announcement to make."
As the subordinates entered the chambers, Bai Liqin informed them of her decision to give power over her territory to Wang Jian. She instructed them to send the news out to all her subordinates to ensure that they would listen to her son's orders.
As Wang Jian witnessed his mother give every bit of power over her territory to him, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over him.
This was a major boon for his plans, as it saved him the trouble of starting his own faction from scratch.
With this power now in his hands, he could focus on strengthening his position and consolidating his control over the region.
Wang Jian spent the next few days in the Royal Palace as he gave his women a tour of the vast and opulent palace, showing them the intricately decorated corridors, the sprawling gardens, and the shimmering fountains.
The women were amazed at the sheer scale and beauty of the palace, with its towering pillars, ornate ceilings, and colorful murals that seemed to come alive under the sun's rays.
As they explored the palace, Wang Jian recounted tales of the palace's rich history, telling them of the great emperors who had once walked the same halls they now tread. They marvelled at the ancient artifacts and treasures that adorned the palace, from intricately carved jade figurines to golden vases adorned with precious gems.
For his women, who had never ventured beyond the rugged terrain of the Zhenguan Region, this was an entirely new experience. They were fascinated by the courtly culture and the sophistication of the capital's inhabitants.
Even Kang Huian, Han Xifeng, and Lady Xia, who harbored mixed feelings towards Wang Jian, couldn't help but feel awestruck by the grandeur of the palace.
They were struck with a sense of inadequacy, feeling as though they paled in comparison to this illustrious prince.
As he escorted his women around the palace, Wang Jian commanded his subordinates to scour the entire Windhaven Kingdom for a comprehensive report on Zhang Fei.
He also tasked them with compiling a detailed list of beautiful female cultivators who were affiliated with sects or associations in that kingdom and were related to him.
A week later, Wang Jian received the report he had been waiting for.
Wang Jian's eyes widened as he read through the report. "So, he is a core disciple of the Celestial Dragon Sect," he muttered to himself.
He turned the page and read further with a bland look as he gazed at the number of clans, towns, and even the individuals this guy had massacred.
Soon, he finished reading that bit of information before moving on to the information regarding his women.
"And he has a maid named Xiao Ling... who was ready to sell her body to provide a funeral for her clan? This is utterly ridiculous," Wang Jian exclaimed, unable to comprehend the situation. He shook his head in disbelief, wondering how such a bizarre turn of events could even occur.
Wang Jian muttered, "Breaking her will be challenging."
He read more and found out that this was just the start of this absurdness.
Zhang Fei had another woman, and she was the daughter of the city lord where the Zhang Clan resided. Qianwei Town.
As Zhang Clan rose with the help of Zhang Fei's pellets and techniques, they even defeated their bitter rivals, the Li Clan, and completely destroyed them. The City Lord of Qianwei Town decided to invest in Zhang Fei and ordered his daughter, Meng Xiangyi, to be in a relationship with him.
Apparently, his daughter was fiercely against this order.
However, during her expedition to the nearby forest to gather rare materials, beast hides, and cores, Meng Xiangyi found herself in danger.
It was then that Zhang Fei appeared like a hero, saving her life not once but multiple times.
As a result, Meng Xiangyi's initial hostility towards him transformed into admiration and love.
However, this was just the start.
Amidst his endeavours, Zhang Fei found himself drawn to another alluring beauty, Xu Yuting, a member of The Dao of Alchemy Society. The young woman was none other than the granddaughter of the eleventh elder of the association, known for its mystic proficiency in the field of alchemy.
Due to her grandfather's wish for her to acquire hands-on experience, Xu Yuting was stationed in the remote town of Qianwei to oversee the operations of the branch.
As fate would have it, the timing of Zhang Fei's rise coincided with Xu Yuting's presence in the town, leading them both down a path that binds their destinies together.
The fourth was the third princess of the Windhaven Kingdom. Chen Yiyun.
There was also information about the heiress of the Silver-Tailed Fox Clan from the Beastclaw Grove situated in the Windhaven Kingdom. Her name is Bixi Shuyan.
Moreover, there were rumors that Zhang Fei had a couple of women even in the Celestial Dragon Association.
Suddenly, a maid arrived and interrupted his musings. "Master, your friends are here to meet you," she announced.
Wang Jian raised an eyebrow in curiosity before realizing who had come. He nodded in acknowledgement and quickly put the catalogue away, making his way to the hall where his friends were waiting for him.

Wang Jian's friends were notorious villains in the Aria Capital City of the Everlasting Mystic Empire. They were all born with a silver spoon in their mouths, as their fathers were influential members of various factions and associations in the city.
One of his friends was named Xie Zhiwei, the son of a high-ranking member of The Dao of Alchemy Society. He was a cunning individual with a talent for alchemy and often used his skills to further his own personal gain.
Another friend of Wang Jian was named Luo Ying, the son of a powerful member of The Heavenly Amulet Master's Association. He was a charismatic and charming individual who often used his social skills to manipulate those around him.
There was also Liu Yu, the son of a prominent member of The Celestial Talisman's Guild. He was a skilled talisman, and his abilities in manipulating the elements were unmatched.
Another member of their group was named Tang Xiaohui, the son of a wealthy Silk Road Trader. He was a greedy and selfish individual who often used his wealth to get what he wanted.
Finally, there was Li Wei, the son of a high-ranking member of The Lotus Assassins. He was a cold and calculating individual who was known for his ruthless methods and complete lack of mercy.
Despite their different personalities and backgrounds, the group of friends had one thing in common: their thirst for power and wealth knew no bounds.
As soon as Wang Jian stepped into the room, Xie Zhiwei's voice cut through the air like a sharp knife. "So, our prince finally returns. The Six Outlaws Gang of Aria City can finally reunite."
"Our influence will once again be unmatched in the city!" Luo Ying added with a grin on his face.
Wang Jian noticed the smirks and excited expressions on their faces and couldn't help but feel a tinge of suspicion. "Something happened while I was gone?" he asked.
A look of righteous indignation appeared on Liu Yu's face as he responded. "Ever since you were exiled, the officials in Aria City turned really strict. Even with our influence, they would just throw us out of their buildings. We couldn't mess around with anyone at all, let alone enjoy ourselves to the fullest."
Tang Xiaohui spoke up next, a hint of desperation in his voice. "Yeah, we were basically nobody without you. We didn't realize how much we relied on your power and influence until it was gone."
"Brother Jian, I require your assistance in a matter of utmost importance," Li Wei said, a hint of malice lurking in his voice.
Wang Jian raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What is it that you require?"
"It's a matter of a particular beauty from the Crimson Guards," Li Wei said, his eyes flashing with a mixture of anger and desire. "This bitch had the audacity to refuse my invitation and even went so far as to humiliate me in front of the entire restaurant."
Wang Jian couldn't help but chuckle at Li Wei's arrogance. "And what do you propose we do about it?"
Li Wei's expression turned sinister. "I want you to help me teach her a lesson she will never forget. Show her that no one, not even a member of the Crimson Guards, can disrespect me and get away with it."
The group of friends exchanged smug glances as Luo Ying spoke up, his voice dripping with arrogance, "We are the notorious Six Outlaws of Aria City, feared and respected by all. No one has the right to humiliate us."
The others nodded in agreement, a sense of entitlement and superiority radiating from them.
Xie Zhiwei chimed in, "Our fathers hold power in their respective factions, and we are their rightful heirs. We are born to rule, and no one can stand in our way."
Liu Yu added, "Those who dare to defy us will face the consequences."
Wang Jian fell into a deep thought while wondering what he should do. But for the sake of it, he decided to go along with it. He was curious about this woman.
Wang Jian's interest was piqued as he listened to his friends' conversation. "What is her name?" he asked, sounding intrigued.
His friends smiled deviously, exchanging a knowing look. Finally, Li Wei spoke up. "Her name is Major Guan Yin. She holds a high position in the Crimson Guards, as a major in charge of a battalion."
Wang Jian nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "So, where does she live?" he inquired.
"She resides in the quarters of the Crimson Guards," Li Wei responded confidently.
Wang Jian's expression became somber. "That's troublesome," he said, "even I can't cause a ruckus in that area. The Crimson Guards will be well within their rights to safeguard their territory's peace. It would be unwise to underestimate them."
"Don't worry, I thought of that. I had my underlings keep an eye on her and have her entire daily schedule with me," Li Wei said. He pulled out a crumpled piece of paper from his pocket and handed it over to Wang Jian, "Here it is, Brother Jian. Her entire schedule for the week."
Wang Jian took the paper and examined it carefully. He nodded approvingly and said, "Impressive. You really did your homework."
"Of course, he did. He's been obsessing over this woman for weeks now," Xie Zhiwei interjected with a smirk.
Li Wei shot him a dirty look before turning his attention back to Wang Jian, "I will do anything to teach her a lesson. No one dares to humiliate me like that and gets away with it."
Luo Ying chimed in, "We should make an example out of her."
Tang Xiaohui added with a chuckle, "And of course, we will make sure that we have some fun along the way."
Wang Jian sat with his friends, analyzing Captain Guan Yin's daily schedule. They had a map of the city in front of them, and Li Wei had provided them with the information he had gathered about the captain's routine.
"Let's see," Wang Jian said, pointing at the map. "She patrols the western district every Monday, the eastern district every Wednesday, and the southern district every Thursday. But on Tuesdays, she goes to the Red Light district."
"Interesting," Xie Zhiwei said. "That means we have a chance to catch her off guard."
"Exactly," Wang Jian agreed. "But we have to be careful. The Red Light district is heavily guarded, and any misstep could get us into trouble."
Luo Ying snorted. "We've dealt with tougher situations than this. We just need to be smart about it."
"I agree," Liu Yu said. "But what's our plan? Are we going to ambush her on the street?"
Wang Jian shook his head. "No, that's too risky. We need to find a way to lure her into a trap."
Tang Xiaohui spoke up. "What if we stage a fight in the Red-Light district? We can make it look like we're just a group of rowdy patrons, and then we can lure her in by pretending to need her help."
Li Wei grinned. "I like it. It's sneaky and underhanded, just like us."
Xie Zhiwei chimed in, "But we can't risk being recognized. We're all notorious in the city, and it's not like we can just put on a disguise."
Wang Jian nodded in agreement. "We'll have to hire some thugs to pull off this act. Make sure they're experienced enough to not botch the job."
Luo Ying smirked. "I know a guy who's perfect for the job. He owes me a favor, and he's been itching for some action."
Liu Yu raised a brow. "Do you think we can trust him? We don't want him to rat us out to the guards."
Li Wei scoffed. "Please, I know the guy. He's a coward. He'll do whatever we want as long as we pay him enough."
Tang Xiaohui added, "We'll have to make sure to keep our distance and watch from afar. We can't let Captain Guan Yin suspect anything."
Wang Jian nodded, "Agreed. We'll have to be careful with our actions and make sure everything goes smoothly."
64c3e69bf75c4d1715a59001
As the group finished discussing their nefarious plan, they turned their attention to other matters.
Xie Zhiwei spoke up first, "Our Dao of Alchemy Society's branches have been under attack by the Eastern Mountain Bandits. They've been causing havoc and disrupting our operations. We must find a way to protect our members and assets."
Luo Ying nodded in agreement, "My father has been discussing forming an alliance with The Steel Talon Mercenaries. They have a strong presence in the region and can provide us with much-needed support."
Liu Yu added, "My guild has been hosting a series of talisman tournaments, and we've been gaining a lot of attention and new members. It's been a great way to showcase our skills and attract like-minded individuals."
Tang Xiaohui leaned back in his chair, "I've been working on hosting a grand gathering of Silk Road traders to discuss new routes and opportunities. It's a great way to network and make important connections."
Li Wei smirked, "As for me, The Lotus Assassins have been making significant gains in the northern regions. We've secured several new strongholds and expanded our influence. The other factions will soon learn to fear us."
As the group was discussing their matters, Li Wei looked at Wang Jian with a lecherous gaze and asked, "Wang Jian, my dear friend, how were the women in the forbidden region? Did they satisfy your every desire?"
Xie Zhiwei chimed in, "I heard they have exquisite beauty and rare skills. You must share some of them with us, Wang Jian. We wouldn't want to miss out on such a delightful experience."
Luo Yin, with a wicked grin on his face, added, "Yes, I'm sure they have many talents to show us. Why keep them all to yourself, my friend?"
Wang Jian, feeling disgusted by their behavior, responded coldly, "Are you really eyeing my women?"
The temperature of the room seemed to have dropped abruptly.
The room fell silent, as the other men looked at each other nervously. They knew they had crossed a line, and they were terrified of how Wang Jian might react.
Xie Zhiwei was the first to speak up, his voice trembling with fear. "Wang Jian, we didn't mean anything by it. We were just joking around."
Tang Xiaohui chimed in, trying to diffuse the tension. "Yes, we were just messing with you. You know how we like to have fun."
Liu Yu nodded in agreement, his eyes darting around the room. "We didn't mean to offend you, Wang Jian. Please forgive us."
Li Wei, who had been quiet until now, spoke up tentatively. "We were out of line, Wang Jian. Please don't be angry with us."
His friends breathed a collective sigh of relief and quickly agreed, eager to make amends for their inappropriate behavior.
"Of course, Wang Jian. We understand that we have overstepped our boundaries and we're sorry," said Tang Xiaohui, his voice filled with contrition.
Liu Yu nodded in agreement, "We will do whatever it takes to make it up to you. Just name your favor."
Li Wei chimed in, "Consider it done, Wang Jian. We owe you that much."
Luo Yin spoke up, "Of course, we owe you a great debt. Anything you need, just name it and we will do our best to assist you."
Xie Zhiwei nodded in agreement, "Yes, our friendship runs deep, and we will always support each other. Consider it done, Wang Jian."
Wang Jian looked around the room, satisfied with their responses. "Good. I'll let you know when I need your help."
As the discussion with his friends came to an end, Wang Jian felt a sense of relief as he watched them leave the hall.
'Well, that was quite the meeting,' he thought to himself.
As he made his way out of the hall, he decided to pay a visit to Su Xian's courtyard. He had heard that she was conducting sparring sessions between her disciples, and he was curious to see their progress.
As he approached the courtyard, he saw that Su Xian was indeed overseeing the sparring sessions. He watched in awe as the disciples showcased their martial prowess, their movements fluid and graceful.
Upon seeing Wang Jian, these women immediately bowed respectfully. It was only after reaching the palace did they realize the true identity of their master.
Wang Jian accepted their greetings while gesturing for them to stand up. He spoke solemnly, "It has been a whole week since you have been here. I am sure you have realized that the Qi in the surroundings is much denser compared to the Zhenguan Region. You will achieve twice the result with half the effort."
"Make sure to train earnestly and serve me, and you can enjoy a happy life," Wang Jian spoke confidently.
All the women were excited to hear these words. They understood that if they continued their training earnestly, they could work for Wang Jian while staying in the Royal Palace.
This was a heaven-sent opportunity, and they were planning to take complete advantage of it.
Su Xian then ordered her disciples, "Continue with your training." She then turned towards Wang Jian and approached him.
"Am I doing well?" she asked, a hint of shyness in her voice.
"You're doing wonderfully," Wang Jian replied with a loving pat on her head. "And how is your spirit training coming along?"
Su Xian beamed with pride. "I spar with Shuying, Huian, and Xifeng every day. My spirit is definitely the strongest!"
Wang Jian chuckled. "That's fantastic to hear. Keep up the good work, my love."
After spending some time talking with Wang Jian, Su Xian returned and oversaw her disciples' training.
Wang Jian stood up and proceeded to leave. He was only here to observe the training and make sure everything was going smoothly.
After a few minutes, he took his leave and walked towards Fen Shuying's chambers. However, as he reached her courtyard, he saw that she was in the middle of her Spirit training.
Realizing he couldn't disturb her, he turned around and walked towards Lady Xia's chambers.
As Wang Jian entered Lady Xia's chambers, he looked at her with a wicked smile on his face. Lady Xia knew exactly what he wanted, despite her dislike for the man.
But even as she tried to push the thought of him out of her mind, her body betrayed her, and she felt a familiar heat spread throughout her body.
Wang Jian's gaze never left Lady Xia's ample curves, and she could feel his hunger as he approached her.
The way he looked at her made her feel like nothing more than an object for his pleasure.
But even as she struggled with these feelings of disgust and arousal, her body craved his touch.
The night was filled with passion as Wang Jian took her again and again, each time with increasing force and intensity.
Lady Xia moaned and cried out as he explored every inch of her body, leaving her spent and breathless.
Despite her hatred for him, Lady Xia couldn't deny the pleasure that Wang Jian brought her.
It was a feeling she couldn't resist, and as he finally left her chambers in the early hours of the morning, she knew that she would be unable to resist him in the future.

The following day dawned with a swiftness, revealing a crisp Tuesday morning.
With an air of determination, Wang Jian departed from the palace premises at an early hour to rendezvous with his nefarious comrades in Tang Xiaohui's restaurant.
The time had finally arrived to execute their sinister scheme against Major Guan Yin.
As it was still daytime, Major Guan Yin hadn't arrived yet. Her patrol time was around the evening.
Thus, it was the perfect moment for Wang Jian to develop the scheme and handle the last-minute matters with his comrades.
As Wang Jian met with his comrades in the restaurant, they quickly got down to business.
"So, have you guys managed to hire a few groups?" Wang Jian asked, his eyes glittering with excitement.
Xie Zhiwei, the son of a high-ranking member of The Dao of Alchemy Society, spoke up. "Yes, I have managed to hire a group of young ruffians. They are willing to cause a disturbance in exchange for some of our society's secret alchemy techniques."
Luo Ying, the son of a powerful member of The Heavenly Amulet Master's Association, chimed in next. "I have hired a group of mercenaries who are looking to gain entry into our association. They are willing to do anything for a chance to join our ranks."
Liu Yu, the son of a prominent member of The Celestial Talisman's Guild, nodded his head. "I have hired a group of thugs who are willing to cause chaos in exchange for some of our talismans."
Tang Xiaohui, the son of a wealthy Silk Road Trader, spoke up next. "I have managed to hire a group of local gangsters who are looking to expand their influence. They are willing to cause a scene for a share of the profits."
Li Wei, the son of a high-ranking member of The Lotus Assassins, simply nodded his head. "I have hired a group of assassins. They are willing to do whatever it takes to gain entry into our organization."
Wang Jian listened to their reports with satisfaction. Each of his friends had managed to find different groups that were willing to do their bidding in exchange for various incentives. It was the perfect plan.
"Good work, everyone. Now, we just need to make sure that we stay hidden and that our involvement remains a secret," Wang Jian said, his voice low and dangerous.
As the day wore on, they went over the plan in more detail, discussing the timing and the location of the chaos that they were going to cause. And as the sun began to set, they made their way to the Red Light district, where they would put their plan into action.
As the evening went on, chaos erupted in the streets. The rowdy groups that Wang Jian and his friends had hired caused a disturbance, fighting amongst themselves and terrorizing the local residents.
And as the chaos continued, Wang Jian watched from a distance, his identity hidden, a satisfied smirk on his face.
It was the perfect plan. And it had all come together flawlessly.
Major Guan Yin and her team of Crimson Guards arrived on the scene to try and stop the violence, but they were outnumbered and quickly overwhelmed by the angry mob.
The mob was out of control, smashing windows and setting fires in the streets.
"Let's go!" Major Guan Yin shouted to her team, signaling for them to engage the attackers. They charged forward, weapons at the ready, determined to stop the chaos.
Meanwhile, Wang Jian and his comrades Xie Zhiwei, Luo Ying, Liu Yu, Tang Xiaohui, and Li Wei watched from a safe distance.
They saw an opportunity to take down Major Guan Yin and her team, but they knew they couldn't take them head-on.
So, they decided to wait for the Crimson Guards to tire out. Hour after hour, they watched as Major Guan Yin and her team battled the mob, their bodies bruised and battered.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the Crimson Guards began to tire. They were breathing heavily, their movements slowing down. This was the moment Wang Jian and his comrades had been waiting for.
As Wang Jian's comrades approached Major Guan Yin and her team, nearly hundreds of cultivators followed them closely.
These cultivators were their guards and also the trump card that would allow them to accomplish their objective.
Wang Jian remained behind as he stared at Major Guan Yin secretly.
Major Guan Yin exuded a bold and striking beauty. She was tall and statuesque, with a lithe yet muscular frame honed through years of rigorous martial arts training.
Her long hair was jet black and tied tightly in a high ponytail, revealing her sharp, angular features. Her almond-shaped eyes were a piercing brown, and her full lips were set in a fierce and determined line.
Her skin was smooth and bronzed, a testament to her countless hours spent training in the sun. Despite the gruelling nature of her work, her face was unlined and her complexion flawless, imbuing her with an aura of youth and vitality.
As she stood amidst the chaos, her crimson armour gleamed in the dim light, a stark contrast to the blackened buildings and debris littering the streets. The intricate design of her armour was both functional and decorative, highlighting the curves of her body and accentuating her feminine strength.
Major Guan Yin moved with fluid grace, her movements precise and purposeful. Despite her obvious physical prowess, she carried herself with quiet confidence, exuding an air of authority and commanding respect from those around her.
Her beauty was not one of softness or fragility but rather of strength and determination, an embodiment of the warrior spirit that drove her to fight for what she believed in.
"Your team fought quite well. Unfortunately, it was all for nought," Li Wei's voice resounded.
Major Guan Yin and her entire team turned to the source of that voice, and their complexions paled as they saw hundreds of warriors in that direction.
A few members of Major Guan Yin's team recognized the youths standing at the forefront. They pointed their fingers while shouting in disbelief, "Y-you are the Six Outlaws of Aria City."
"Correct. And this entire scenario was caused by us! Haha." Luo Yin laughed as he revealed this bit of information.
"What are you doing here?" Major Guan Yin asked coldly.
"Hmph. It's because of you that we are here, Major. You insulted our brother and actually refused his kind intentions?! Today, we are here to take you with us. If you dare to refuse, the mercenaries behind us will immediately attack and slaughter your team!" Xie Zhiwei declared.
While his friends continued to speak and threaten Major Guan Yin, Wang Jian remained silent as he gazed at her while utilizing his True Eyes Ability to check her luck.
He received a notification from the system.

Guan Yin had a rather high luck status, but it was only natural considering that she was a Heroine.
However, Wang Jian was curious about which Protagonist was affiliated with her. Was it Zhang Fei who was in the Windheaven Kingdom or some other protagonist?
Meanwhile, at this moment, Major Guan Yin stood tall, her eyes flashing with anger. "I refuse to be taken by a group of thugs like you," she spat out, her voice ringing with determination.
Her team stood behind her, ready to fight to the death if necessary. "You'll have to go through us first," one of them growled.
Luo Yin sneered. "Do you really think you can take us all on? Look around you, Major. You're outnumbered and outmatched."
Xie Zhiwei nodded in agreement. "And don't forget the mercenaries we've hired. They're more than willing to spill blood for us."
Major Guan Yin took a step forward, her fists clenched. "I don't care how many mercenaries you have or how many of your friends are with you. I will not be intimidated or threatened."
Li Wei stepped forward, his expression cold. "Then you leave us no choice. Attack!"
The air was thick with tension as the mercenaries were about to charge towards the exhausted Crimson Guards, their weapons ready. Suddenly, a voice boomed through the area, causing everyone to freeze in their tracks.
"Stop!"
64c3e69bf75c4d1715a59001
"Stop!"
The voice was deep and commanding, and it seemed to reverberate through the very ground beneath their feet. Even Wang Jian's comrades, who had been brimming with confidence just moments before, felt a chill run down their spines.
As the voice echoed through the area, everyone present knew what it meant. The individual who spoke was a King Realm cultivator.
Wang Jian arched his eyebrow as he turned his gaze in the direction of that voice. He glimpsed a well-built middle-aged man, garbed in the same armor as the Crimson Guards.
The members of Guan Yin's team couldn't help but cry out in joy and relief, "It's the General! He's arrived to save us from this dire situation!"
"We are safe now!" added Major Guan Yin.
"You bunch of troublemakers have some nerve targeting members of my faction!" The General of the Crimson Guards spoke coldly.
Wang Jian's comrades were absolutely terrified as they realized the identity of this man.
Meanwhile, Wang Jian realized that this General was a helper who came to assist the Heroine out of this predicament.
Without hesitation, Wang Jian stepped forward and addressed the General directly. "Stop, General. I will take responsibility for their actions and take them away," he said firmly.
The sudden appearance of Wang Jian stunned everyone present, and for a moment, the air was thick with tension and uncertainty.
The General scoffed. "Take them away? Do you think you can just waltz in here and demand that I release your troublemaking friends? They have caused a great deal of chaos and destruction, and they must pay the price."
Wang Jian's expression remained calm, but there was a hint of steel in his eyes. "I am the seventh prince of this kingdom. I demand that you release them into my custody."
The General's lips curled in disdain. "Seventh prince or not, they are criminals who have disrupted the peace and caused damage to our city. They will not go unpunished."
Wang Jian's jaw clenched, but he remained resolute. "If you do not release them, then you leave me no choice but to use force."
The General's eyes narrowed, and he took a step forward. "Do you really dare to threaten me, boy?"
Wang Jian met his gaze, unwavering. "Attack if you dare."
The General's hand went to his sword, but he hesitated. This was the capital, and he knew that if it became known that he had attacked a member of the royal family, he would be hanged the next day.
He glared at Wang Jian. "You may have won saved them today, but mark my words, troublemaker. Your friends will pay for their crimes, and there is nothing you can do to stop it."
"Whatever. Go away," Wang Jian swatted his warnings nonchalantly.
As the Crimson Guards departed, Wang Jian's friends let out a collective sigh of relief. They rushed towards him, patting him on the back and thanking him profusely.
"Wang Jian, you're a lifesaver! We owe you one," Luo Yin said, grinning from ear to ear.
"Yeah, you really bailed us out of a tight spot," Xie Zhiwei added, his voice filled with gratitude.
Wang Jian waved his hand dismissively. "It's no big deal. I couldn't just stand by and let you guys get hurt."
Liu Yu couldn't help but express his disappointment. "What a shame. If that General hadn't appeared, we could have taken Major Guan Yin away. She has such a tantalizing figure," he said with a hint of regret in his voice.
Li Wei chimed in, "Indeed. It was the perfect opportunity, but now it seems we'll never get our revenge on her."
Tang Xiaohui, always the optimist, spoke up. "Don't worry, guys. Our plan was a good one. We just have to be more careful next time."
Wang Jian was impressed with his friends' resilience. They had just narrowly escaped a life-threatening situation, and yet they were already thinking of their next move. "You guys are something else," he said, a small smile playing on his lips.
"But Wang Jian, what about you?" Liu Yu asked, turning to him. "You risked everything to save us. What if that General had attacked you?"
Wang Jian shrugged off the question. "I'm the seventh prince. He wouldn't dare lay a hand on me, especially not here in the capital. He knows the consequences of attacking a royal."
His friends nodded in agreement, but the thought still lingered in their minds. The Crimson Guards were a force to be reckoned with, and they couldn't be sure what they were capable of.
Nevertheless, they walked on, heads held high, and minds already working on their next scheme.
Wang Jian turned towards his friends, his expression resolute. "I have some matters to attend to in the Palace. I will meet you all later," he announced, his voice steady and determined.
His friends looked at him in surprise, not expecting him to leave so abruptly. "Is everything alright, Wang Jian?" asked Luo Yin, concern etched on his face.
"Yeah. Everything is alright. It's just a small task," Wang Jian spoke.
As he strode towards the Palace, Wang Jian couldn't help but think about the events of the day.
He had to find more information regarding this Guan Yin and who was the protagonist related to her.
Upon his return, he summoned his trusted subordinates and delegated tasks to them, instructing them to gather all the necessary information on Guan Yin and her associates.
The next morning, his subordinates arrived with a comprehensive report on Guan Yin and her connections.
Wang Jian was impressed with their efficiency and thoroughness. They had found out everything he needed to know, including her residence in Aria City, and her close connections.
As Wang Jian perused through the information on Guan Yin, he found no mention of anyone that fits the description of the protagonist he was searching for. He pondered the situation thoughtfully.
"It's possible that the protagonist hasn't awakened yet," he mused.
But he also knew he couldn't wait around for that to happen. He needed to take action.
"I can become the villain for her," he decided with a sly grin.
He began to hatch a plan, muttering to himself, "Let's contact her parents and give them some exciting news."
With a newfound determination, Wang Jian set to work on implementing his scheme.

The following day, Wang Jian intended to send a letter to Guan Yin's home in Riverdale Town. But, as he was about to hand the letter to a servant, a maid arrived and announced, "…Your Highness, the third prince is here to meet you."
Wang Jian was taken aback and thought the timing was suspiciously coincidental. Nevertheless, he resolved to meet with his third brother.
As Wang Jian entered the living room, he saw his elder brother Wang Chen sitting there, wearing an expression of pleasant surprise. "Jian, it's good to see you," Wang Chen said warmly. "I thought I'd drop by and see how you're doing."
Wang Jian smiled back, and his eyes narrowed ever so slightly. He knew his brother well enough to realize that this visit was not entirely innocent. "It's good to see you too, brother," he replied, his tone carefully neutral. "I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to visit you yet. My friends have been keeping me busy."
"Ah, yes. Speaking of your friends..." Wang Chen's voice trailed off, his eyes taking on a shrewd glint. "I heard that they were involved in an ambush on Major Guan Yin of the Crimson Guards."
Wang Jian's expression remained calm, but inwardly he felt a surge of alarm. How did his brother find out about that so quickly? And what did he want with the information?
"Yes, they were the perpetrators behind that ambush," Wang Jian said.
Wang Chen narrowed his eyes and leaned forward in his seat. "Interesting. And why did your friends target Major Guan Yin?"
Wang Jian hesitated for a moment, weighing his words carefully. "They had a personal grudge against her. It was foolish and misguided, but I couldn't dissuade them from their plan."
Wang Chen studied his younger brother's face for a moment before speaking again. "I see. And what happened?"
Wang Jian's tone turned cold as he replied, "The General of the Crimson Guards appeared, and I had to make an appearance to save them."
Wang Chen's expression darkened as he fixed his gaze on his younger brother. "Jian, let me make myself clear. Major Guan Yin is off-limits. I have my sights set on her," he said in a stern tone.
"Is that a threat, elder brother?" Wang Jian replied, his voice cool and measured.
Wang Chen's lips twisted into a sneer. "Take it as you will, little brother. But mark my words, if you continue to pursue Major Guan Yin, you will regret it."
With that, he stood up from his seat, his gaze still fixed on Wang Jian. "Remember what I said," he added before turning on his heel and striding out of the room.
Once he was gone, Wang Jian was left in deep contemplation.
'That was certainly eventful. So, Wang Chen is one of the villains who is after Major Guan Yin. This means he will act as a stepping stone for the protagonist. I should keep an eye on him.'
As the lunch hour approached, Wang Jian made his way towards the dining hall, where his women had already gathered. Su Xian and Fen Shuying's eyes lit up with excitement upon seeing him, while Kang Huian and Han Xifeng appeared nervous.
Lady Xia was also present, but her feelings towards Wang Jian were complicated. She loathed him for forcing himself upon her and turning her into a sex slave, but her body had begun to crave him. Her eyes flashed with a mixture of emotions as she saw him enter the room.
"Good afternoon, my ladies," Wang Jian greeted them with a smile.
"Good afternoon, Your Highness," Su Xian and Fen Shuying replied in unison, their voices laced with excitement.
Kang Huian and Han Xifeng greeted him nervously, their eyes darting between Wang Jian and Lady Xia.
Lady Xia remained silent, her gaze fixed on her plate.
Wang Jian sat down at the head of the table and gestured for his women to join him. As they began to eat, the room was filled with the sound of clinking silverware and the occasional murmur of conversation.
"Your Highness, how was your morning?" Su Xian asked, trying to make small talk.
"It was eventful," Wang Jian replied with a smirk. "I had a visit from my elder brother, the Third Prince."
"Is everything alright?" Fen Shuying asked, her eyes widening in concern.
"Oh, everything is just fine," Wang Jian reassured her. "He just came to warn me not to involve myself with Major Guan Yin of the Crimson Guards."
"Why would he warn you about that?" Kang Huian asked, her voice shaking slightly.
"Let's just say I messed with her a bit, and he came to inform me that he has his eyes set on her," Wang Jian said cryptically.
Wang Jian soon changed the topic and conveyed to his women, "Furthermore, I want to inform you all that your clans will receive their allocated resources by midnight. Each clan will also receive a thousand essence stones, which you must utilize to enhance your cultivation base to the peak of the Origin Realm."
He then turned towards Su Xian and continued, "I suggest you distribute some of the essence stones to your disciples as well to enable them to enhance their cultivation swiftly."
He presented two pills and gazed at his women and continued, "For all of you, I will be providing you with hundreds of these two pellets. These are the Qi Transformation Pellet and Blood Empowerment Pellet. They will facilitate a rapid increase in your cultivation level, taking you to the Lord Realm and then to the pinnacle of the Lord Realm."
"Thank you, Your Highness! We won't disappoint you!" Fen Shuying was excited to hear this information.
"Anything for my women," Wang Jian responded with a smile as his gaze swept over all of them.
As the day progressed, representatives from each tribe arrived one by one to receive their allocation of resources from Wang Jian.
The distribution included a variety of valuable items, such as rare herbs for healing injuries and enhancing cultivation, weapons and armor for protection, construction materials to build and fortify their homes, and tools for mining and gathering resources.
Wang Jian also provided specialized resources tailored to each tribe's unique needs. For example, the Night Dagger Clan received high-quality bows and arrows, while the Miracle Angel Tribe received rare ingredients and equipment for their craft.
In addition to physical resources, Wang Jian also offered guidance and support to the tribes, sharing his knowledge and expertise in cultivating the land, managing resources, and defending against potential threats. The tribes left feeling grateful and empowered, ready to make their mark in Aria City.
As the tribes successfully established their stronghold in the capital, Wang Jian realized it was the opportune moment to depart for the Windhaven Kingdom.

After two days, Wang Jian departed from Aria Capital, accompanied by a griffin, en route to the Windhaven Kingdom.
He left behind his women, each assigned a specific task to expedite the growth of their respective tribe.
Fen Shuying, with the assistance of Lady Xia, would develop the Night Dagger Clan, utilizing the clan's expertise in assassination to create a wave of terror throughout the capital. This would increase their reputation, attract private contracts, and grow their tribe.
Kang Huian's role was to manage the Crimson Mammoth Warriors and join the local law enforcement department to eradicate the nearby bandits. The tribe's strength and vigor made them ideal candidates for this job, and their success would attract more missions to expand their tribe.
The Miracle Angel Tribe's expertise in healing was utilized by Han Xifeng to resolve illnesses and injuries among the people. Joining the army camps as healers, they aimed to demonstrate the usefulness of their tribe's expertise.
Su Xian's role was of utmost importance. As the only one not affiliated with a tribe, she had to recruit female disciples to form a new faction. This faction would specialize in all forms of cultivation, including utilizing the arrays and talismans, ensuring that Wang Jian's women had protection and power in the cutthroat world of Aria City.
Before leaving, Wang Jian entrusted his mother, Bai Liqin, with the responsibility of ensuring the safety and well-being of his women in his absence.
He knew that his women were capable, but he also understood the dangers of being in a new and unfamiliar environment.
As for Wang Jian, he was determined to move forward with his goals and ambitions, heading towards the Windhaven Kingdom with a griffin.
He had a clear plan in mind, with specific objectives to achieve, and he knew that he needed to focus all his attention on achieving them.
After three days of non-stop flying on his griffin, Wang Jian finally arrived at the Windhaven Kingdom, eager to further his goals and ambitions.
Without wasting any time, he made his way straight to the Royal Palace.
Wang Jian was well aware that his younger brother, Wang Lan, was currently residing there.
Despite the Royal Family still being alive, their power was nearly insignificant, and they only had control over the Imperial Guards.
All the other factions in the kingdom were under Wang Lan's control, making him the de facto ruler of the Windhaven Kingdom.
As soon as Wang Jian entered the Royal Palace, he was greeted by his younger brother, Wang Lan. "Elder brother Jian! What a surprise to see you here. I did hear about your exile being revoked. Congratulations!" Wang Lan said with a wide smile that didn't reach his eyes.
Wang Jian returned the fake smile, knowing full well that his brother was up to something. "Thank you, Lan. I came here to Windhaven Kingdom to stay for a few days," he said in a polite tone.
Wang Lan raised an eyebrow. "A few days? Is that so?" he said, his tone dripping with suspicion. "May I ask what brings you here?"
"I have some business to attend to," Wang Jian replied vaguely.
Wang Lan narrowed his eyes, trying to read his brother's expression. "Well, you know you're always welcome here. I'll make sure to have someone prepare a room for you," he said with a forced smile.
"Thank you, Lan. I appreciate it," Wang Jian said before turning to leave.
But just as he was about to walk away, Wang Lan called out to him, "Wait, Elder brother, I wanted to ask you something. Did you come alone? Where are your guards?"
Wang Jian paused and turned back to face his younger brother. "Yes, I came alone. I don't need guards to protect me. I can handle myself just fine," he replied confidently.
Wang Lan raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical. "I see. Well, if you need any assistance while you're here, don't hesitate to let me know," he said, a hint of insincerity in his tone.
Wang Jian nodded politely. "Thank you, I appreciate it."
And with that, he turned and walked away.
Wang Lan's face lit up with a wide grin as he watched Wang Jian leave.
The visit of his elder brother presented an opportunity he couldn't ignore, but he was well aware that he couldn't act hastily.
If something happened to Wang Jian soon after his arrival in the Windhaven Kingdom, he would immediately become the prime suspect.
Wang Lan needed to bide his time and wait for the perfect moment to strike.
After departing from the palace, Wang Jian made his way towards Qianwei Town. He had learned that most of Zhang Fei's companions hailed from this town, and he thought it would be a wise decision to establish his residence nearby.
Wang Jian knew that constructing a mansion from scratch would be a daunting task, even for someone of his stature.
However, he had a secret weapon up his sleeve - the system!
He had obtained the necessary resources for constructing the Black Castle from the treasury of his mother's faction.
Using these resources, Wang Jian erected the imposing Black Castle in a vacant clearing just outside of Qianwei Town.
After the construction of the Black Castle, Wang Jian eagerly wanted to inspect it.
With his meticulous instructions, the system had crafted the castle according to his taste. The walls' color, the carpets' designs, the furniture pieces' placements, and every other aspect were exactly as he had commanded.
In fact, the castle's layout and design surpassed even his expectations. He marvelled at the grandeur and magnificence of his new home, a true symbol of his power and influence.
Wang Jian was pleased with the customization options the system provided him.
He knew he could further personalize the castle to his liking, adding or removing rooms and furnishings, changing the color scheme, or even implementing advanced security measures.
"Finally, a roof over my head. But I'll need at least a dozen maids," Wang Jian mused to himself, relieved to have a place to call home. He knew that living without the assistance of maids would be too much for him to handle.
Recruiting new maids took up the rest of his day. He spared no expense to acquire the best, knowing that money could buy almost anything. After he had selected a dozen of the most capable candidates, he went back to his new home in the Black Castle.

In the early days of Qianwei Town, there were three major clans that held significant power and influence over the town: the Zhang Clan, the Li Clan, and the Meng Clan.
The Li Clan was the first to rise to power, with a strong military force and vast wealth.
They were renowned for their cunning and ruthless tactics, using any means necessary to maintain their dominance over the other two clans.
Their arrogance and overbearing nature earned them a reputation as bullies, and they often looked down on those from the other clans.
The Meng Clan, on the other hand, was wealthy and well-connected, with many ties to the imperial court.
However, they lacked a strong military force and were often overshadowed by the Li Clan's might.
In an attempt to increase their power and influence, the Meng Clan arranged an engagement between their heiress, Meng Xiangyi, and the head of the Li Clan.
Meanwhile, the Zhang Clan, led by the formidable Zhang Fei, was growing rapidly in power and influence.
They formed alliances with various factions and began to challenge the Li Clan's hold on the town.
The Zhang Clan was known for their fierce loyalty and uncompromising sense of justice, which earned them the support of many townspeople.
As tensions between the three clans escalated, the engagement between Meng Xiangyi and the Li Clan head was called off, causing further animosity between the Meng and Li Clans.
In a surprise move, Zhang Fei led a surprise attack on the Li Clan's stronghold, completely destroying their power and leaving them in ruins.
With the Li Clan gone, the Zhang Clan became the new dominant force in Qianwei Town, and the Meng Clan was forced to make alliances with them in order to maintain their position.
The town flourished under the combined efforts of the Zhang and Meng Clans, with new businesses and infrastructure projects springing up all over the town.
The history of these three clans remains a testament to the ever-changing power dynamics of Qianwei Town.
Wang Jian's mind was churning with a plethora of strategies to weaken Zhang Fei's grip on Qianwei Town. He was well aware that the crux of Zhang's power resided in his clan, so he made it his top priority to dismantle it piece by piece.
With a cool and calculating demeanor, Wang Jian set out to sabotage the Zhang Clan's strongest allies, starting with the Dao of Alchemy Society's branch in Qianwei Town.
Fortunately for him, it was an easy task.
All he had to do was send a message to Xie Zhiwei.
Despite Xie Zhiwei's notorious reputation in Aria City, he held significant influence within the Dao of Alchemy Society.
His words carried weight, and he could quickly sever the alliance between the Zhang Clan and the lowly branch in Qianwei Town.
Xie Zhiwei could even forbid any aid from the Dao of Alchemy Society to the Zhang Clan.
Through a speed post, it took one whole day to reach this message to him. This message was sent through a Gyrfalcon to ensure it would reach the destination quickly.
Wang Jian wasted no time after sending the message via Gyrfalcon. He promptly held a meeting with the other influential clans in Qianwei Town, namely the Ji and Lin Clans.
Upon learning of his royal status, these clans welcomed him with great respect and hospitality.
Wang Jian was pleased but did not let his guard down as he shared his intentions with them.
He revealed that he had set in motion a plan to undermine the Zhang Clan's power by breaking their alliance with the Dao of Alchemy Society's branch.
Wang Jian was confident that with the Zhang Clan's loss of support, a chance for the other clans to rise up would soon appear.
He offered them the opportunity to accomplish great deeds in the upcoming battle against the Zhang Clan, assuring them that the Dao of Alchemy Society's branch would be willing to support whichever clan emerged victorious.
With this, the three clans began to strategize and prepare for the impending conflict, each hoping to be the one to claim victory and receive the coveted support of the Dao of Alchemy Society's branch.
The following day, Qianwei City received two speed posts.
One was addressed to Wang Jian, and the other to the branch of the Dao of Alchemy Society in the city.
Xie Zhiwei's letter to Wang Jian confirmed that the branch of the Dao of Alchemy Society was now under his command, and they would comply with all his directives.
Moreover, Xie Zhiwei had also sent a letter to the society's branch, bearing his father's seal.
As a result, the society severed all connections with the Zhang Clan and was forbidden from aiding them in any way.
At this moment, the members of the branch of the Dao of Alchemy Society were bewildered by the sudden order sent by a high-ranking member of the main branch.
It was the Grand Elder of the Society who had given the order, and his word was as authoritative as that of the Society Leader. No one could dare to oppose it.
Xu Yuting, unable to comprehend the reason behind this order, sent numerous letters to her grandfather and father, urging them to investigate the matter.
"I can't just stand by and do nothing," she muttered to herself. "I must protect Brother Fei's clan at all costs. How can I face him if something terrible happens to them?"
Little did Xu Yuting know that the Lin Clan and the Ji Clan had long been anticipating this moment.
As soon as they received the news of the Zhang Clan's severed connection with the Dao of Alchemy Society, they sprang into action. The two clans acted swiftly and launched a coordinated attack on the Zhang Clan, encircling them from all sides.
Despite being taken by surprise, the Zhang Clan reacted promptly to the attack and set up a robust defensive mechanism to shield themselves from the assaults of the Ji and Lin Clans.
The attacking forces were stunned by the strength of the defensive array and struggled to penetrate it.
However, the Zhang Clan knew that the protective shield would not hold out for long, and they began to prepare a counterattack.
The Zhang Clan wasted no time in alerting Zhang Fei of the sudden attack by their enemies.
They utilized a secret exit that led them to the Celestial Dragon Sect's branch in a nearby city, from where they sent a message to Zhang Fei.
Upon receiving the message, Zhang Fei sprang into action and hurriedly made his way to his hometown to defend his clan.

Zhang Clan Elder's expression is one of outrage and indignation, his voice shaking with anger. "How dare you attack us without warning or reason? This is an act of cowardice and betrayal!"
Ji Clan Elder's tone is cold and calculating, his face impassive. "We don't owe you any explanation, old man. Our clan needs to grow and expand, and we won't let anyone stand in our way."
Lin Clan Elder's voice is smooth and confident, his eyes gleaming with ambition. "Indeed. And we have reason to believe that the Zhang Clan has been hoarding valuable resources and keeping secrets from the other clans. We demand an equal share of what rightfully belongs to all of us."
Zhang Clan Elder's response is sharp and defensive, his eyes flashing with defiance. "That's ridiculous! We have always shared everything we have, and we have nothing to hide."
Ji Clan Elder's reply is dismissive and challenging, his gaze locked on the Zhang Clan Elder. "Then why did you suddenly become so successful? Why do you have access to knowledge and techniques that no one else does?"
Lin Clan Elder's voice is firm and resolute, his tone brooking no dissent. "We know that you have been hiding something, and we won't rest until we find out what it is. And if that means taking what we want by force, then so be it."
Zhang Clan Elder's response is fierce and determined, his eyes blazing with conviction. "You are making a grave mistake. We will defend ourselves and our clan with all our might. We will not bow down to your threats and aggression."
Ji Clan Elder's tone is confident and self-assured, his lips curling into a smirk. "You are welcome to try. But know that we are prepared for anything you throw at us."
Lin Clan Elder's voice is filled with conviction and zeal, his eyes flashing with excitement. "Indeed. The other clans will soon join us in this fight, and then you will know the true strength of our combined forces."
Zhang Clan Elder's reply is steadfast and resolute, his voice ringing with determination. "We may be outnumbered, but we will never give up. We will fight until our last breath to protect what is rightfully ours."
Ji Clan Elder's response is confident and challenging, his eyes narrowing with anticipation. "We shall see about that. The battle lines have been drawn, and there can only be one winner in this war."
Lin Clan Elder's final words are spoken with a sense of triumph and satisfaction, his voice ringing with anticipation. "Let the games begin."
As the three clans were embroiled in a heated exchange, Wang Jian discreetly kept a watchful eye on Xu Yuting, who was conferring with the City Lord to discuss the sudden and vicious attack on the Zhang Clan in Qianwei Town.
The City Lord was taken aback by this brazen assault on the Zhang Clan, who had never before faced such a dire situation since the rise of their most illustrious member, Zhang Fei.
Even Meng Xiangyi, the City Lord's own daughter, implored him to intervene and aid the Zhang Clan in their hour of need.
However, before the City Lord could even contemplate taking action to support the beleaguered Zhang Clan, his Meng Clan received a letter from the Dao of Alchemy Society, The Heavenly Amulet Master's Association, and The Celestial Talisman's Guild.
The message threatened to indefinitely cease all business dealings with the Meng Clan if they dared to interfere in the conflict between the clans.
Wang Jian swiftly made his way to the City Lord's mansion, and as he approached, the guards attempted to stop him in his tracks.
However, the mere emanation of his immense cultivation was enough to immobilize them, leaving them helpless and rooted to the ground.
Their strength paled in comparison to his, with the strongest among them merely reaching the Lord Realm. Thus, Wang Jian could effortlessly overpower them, leaving them immobilized on the ground.
As he approached the mansion, the pressure of his powerful aura radiated from his body, causing everyone inside to feel the impact immediately.
The City Lord and his associates shuddered in fear as they sensed the immense energy emanating from Wang Jian's body, causing their blood to run cold with terror.
Wang Jian made his way through the halls of the mansion, his footsteps echoing off the marble floors. Finally, he reached the living room, where he found Xu Yuting, Meng Xiangyi, and the City Lord.
With a sly grin on his face, he approached the City Lord and spoke, "Ah, so you must be the illustrious City Lord of this land. I have heard so much about you."
The City Lord, taken aback by the man's presence, replied, "Yes, I am the City Lord. And you are?"
"Wang Jian," he answered, his sinister smile widening. "I represent the Dao of Alchemy Society, The Heavenly Amulet Master's Association, and The Celestial Talisman's Guild."
The City Lord tensed up at those words, his eyes narrowing as he braced himself for whatever was to come. Xu Yuting and Meng Xiangyi also looked uneasy, unsure of what to expect from this powerful cultivator.
Wang Jian simply stood there, his gaze piercing as he surveyed the room. After a moment, he spoke again, "I understand that you have received a letter from the Dao of Alchemy Society, The Heavenly Amulet Master's Association, and The Celestial Talisman's Guild, threatening to halt all business with your clan if you interfere in the conflict between the clans."
The City Lord nodded slowly, his expression guarded.
Wang Jian chuckled, "Well, I'm sure you wouldn't want to risk losing such valuable allies. But don't worry; I'm not here to make enemies. In fact, I have a proposition for you."
"And what would that be?" The City Lord asked.
Wang Jian responded, "Break all ties with Zhang Fei, including the engagement of your daughter to him, and I will ensure that our associations have a long-standing alliance with your clan."
The City Lord's response was firm, "I cannot betray him in such a way. He saved me from a deadly illness, and I owe him my life!"
Wang Jian sneered at the City Lord's words. He then turned his attention to Meng Xiangyi, the City Lord's daughter, and asked her with a hint of malice, "I wonder who you value more, your father or Zhang Fei?"
Meng Xiangyi's expression turned into one of confusion and shock as she stammered, "What do you mean?"
Wang Jian chuckled darkly and continued, "If you choose your father, then I suggest you convince him to stay out of this conflict. If not, then I'm afraid the consequences will be dire."
64c3e69bf75c4d1715a59001
As Wang Jian observed the tense standoff between the Zhang Clan and their enemies, he couldn't help but feel a thrill of anticipation.
He knew that Zhang Fei would arrive soon, and he was eager to see what would happen when the hero finally entered the fray.
Despite the odds stacked against them, the Zhang Clan had managed to keep their defensive array up for nearly a month.
But they didn't need to hold out much longer. Within a day, Zhang Fei arrived in Qianwei Town.
However, his swift arrival wasn't due to his own speed alone.
He was accompanied by an elderly man, who appeared to be nothing more than a humble librarian.
In reality, this old man was the former sect master of the branch of Celestial Dragon Sect in the Windhaven Kingdom, and his cultivation was at the peak of the King Realm.
Even the most seasoned experts in Aria City regarded him with respect and awe.
Upon his arrival in Qianwei Town, Zhang Fei made his way to meet with the City Lord to discuss the situation.
When the City Lord informed him of Wang Jian's involvement, Zhang Fei was immediately enraged.
"What? How can Wang Jian represent the Dao of Alchemy Society, The Heavenly Amulet Master's Association, and The Celestial Talisman's Guild?" he demanded to know.
Turning to Xu Yuting, Zhang Fei pleaded, "Surely there must be something you can do to help my clan, Yutong?"
"I have already tried my best to convince the elders to support the Zhang Clan and even sent a letter to my father and grandfather asking for their assistance. However, they rejected my request and even warned me against taking any action," Xu Yuting replied, her voice filled with bitterness.
Zhang Fei's eyes locked onto the City Lord, his voice confident as he spoke, "What about you, City Lord? Will you stand with my clan in this time of need? I assure you, I will owe you a great debt."
The City Lord's face twisted with hesitation. He had seen Wang Jian's power firsthand, and it terrified him to the core. "I would like nothing more than to help you, Zhang Fei," he said, "But I fear that I cannot stand against such a formidable opponent. The consequences could be catastrophic for my people."
Zhang Fei's expression fell at the City Lord's words, but he did not give up. "Please reconsider," he said, his voice imploring, "I have even brought along a powerful expert from the Celestial Dragon Sect. I assure you that nothing will go wrong."
The City Lord remained silent, weighing his options carefully. He seemed slightly convinced as he came to know of this expert.
"Who is this expert?" He asked, intrigued.
A sly grin played across Zhang Fei's lips. "Please follow me," he said, leading the group to a nearby teahouse.
"This is my master from the Celestial Dragon Sect, Huo Mingzhe," Zhang Fei announced, pointing at the old man.
The City Lord and the two women accompanying Zhang Fei couldn't help but feel a sense of awe as they looked at the old man. His eyes glinted with a fierce intensity, and his presence alone seemed to command respect.
Before the old man could even ask a question, Zhang Fei spoke up again. "Master, this is the City Lord. And these two are my women," he said, introducing them to the powerful expert.
The old man simply nodded in acknowledgement, but his eyes held a hint of amusement. "I see," he said with a wry smile.
The City Lord gazed at the man with a questioning look and finally asked, "If you don't mind me asking, what is your cultivation, senior?"
Huo Mingzhe smiled wryly and said, "I have attained the peak of the King Realm."
The City Lord's eyes widened in surprise as the peak of the King Realm was a rare achievement.
Turning his attention back to Zhang Fei, the City Lord spoke with conviction, "The Meng Clan stands by the Zhang Clan's side. We will do everything in our power to assist you in this battle."
Zhang Fei's face lit up with joy at the City Lord's response, but inwardly he was sneering. He knew that the City Lord's decision was likely influenced by the presence of Huo Mingzhe, the expert from the Celestial Dragon Sect.
In the meantime, Wang Jian received a notification from the system.
It stated that there was a minor crack in the relationship between Zhang Fei and the City Lord, and as a result, he received 300 Destiny Points.
He smiled contentedly upon reading this notification.
Moments later, the sound of commotion echoed through the streets as Zhang Fei arrived with a group of powerful experts from the Meng Clan.
Wang Jian heard the noise and opened his eyes, sensing the presence of the new arrivals.
As he observed the scene from afar, a sneer appeared on his face. "The City Lord made a foolish choice," he murmured to himself with disdain.
Despite his calm exterior, Wang Jian knew that he was in for a fierce battle, but he was confident in his abilities. He silently prepared himself for what was to come.
Zhang Fei and the Meng Clan experts charged towards the Lin Clan and Ji Clan members, ready for battle.
As they clashed, Zhang Fei's fists moved swiftly and powerfully, delivering a flurry of attacks to his enemies.
His first technique was the "Roaring Tiger Fist," a technique that allowed him to strike with the power and ferocity of a tiger.
With each punch, the air around him seemed to tremble, and his enemies were pushed back by the sheer force of his blows.
As the battle raged on, Zhang Fei began to incorporate his wind element techniques.
He focused his energy and summoned a gust of wind, which he directed towards his enemies.
The technique was called "Whirlwind Strike," and as the gust of wind hit his enemies, they were knocked off their feet, struggling to regain their balance.
Zhang Fei then used the "Storm Fist" technique, a powerful punch that was infused with the power of the wind.
As he unleashed this attack, the air around him began to swirl and coalesce into a fierce storm. His enemies were caught in the middle of this storm, buffeted by powerful winds that threatened to knock them off their feet.
Despite the overwhelming odds against them, Zhang Fei and the Meng Clan experts fought with incredible skill and determination.
Their enemies struggled to keep up with their speed and power, and as the battle raged on, it became clear that Zhang Fei and his allies were gaining the upper hand.
Wang Jian made sure to observe Zhang Fei's fighting style and could see that it was rather amateurish.
'He isn't a reincarnated monster then. He must have another cheat,' Wang Jian thought.
As he observed Zhang Fei, Wang Jian's eyes fell upon an ancient dragon-shaped ring adorning the middle finger of his right hand. This allowed him to understand Zhang Fei's cheatability.
64c3e69bf75c4d1715a59001
Wang Jian had a deep understanding of Zhang Fei's cheating abilities and his combat skills. Therefore, he decided to take action.
Meanwhile, Huo Mingzhe hadn't revealed himself yet and remained vigilant as he had heard of Wang Jian's strength from the City Lord.
As Wang Jian made his entrance into the battlefield, he exuded an immense amount of qi that was accompanied by scorching flames empowered by the Law of Flames.
His arrival instantly grabbed the attention of everyone on the field.
The members of the Ji and Lin Clans were overjoyed as they knew that Wang Jian was on their side.
On the other hand, the City Lord and even the Meng Clan's experts turned pale as they recalled how Wang Jian had single-handedly defeated them and entered the City Lord's mansion.
Meng Xiangyi and Xu Yuting were both terrified as they realized that their most formidable opponent had arrived.
They couldn't help but glance over at Zhang Fei, who was also looking towards Wang Jian, his curiosity turning to anger as he understood that this was the man targeting his clan.
Zhang Fei, however, didn't lose all reason due to his anger. He could feel the qi emanating from Wang Jian and knew it was far beyond his own strength.
After all, Zhang Fei was merely at the Origin Realm cultivation.
Even though Zhang Fei could cross realms, he could only fight against experts in the early stages of the Lord Realm.
It was absolutely impossible for him to fight against the King Realm expert.
In that moment, Zhang Fei frantically looked towards his master, Huo Mingzhe, hoping for assistance.
And just as he had hoped, Huo Mingzhe vanished from his position and reappeared a few dozen meters away, his spear already drawn.
A fierce, overbearing Spear Qi was emitted from Huo Mingzhe as he glared at Wang Jian, "Who are you to target my disciple and his clan? As a King Realm expert, you should know better than to meddle in the affairs of juniors."
Wang Jian chuckled, his eyes flashing with a predatory gleam, "Your disciple, Zhang Fei, is nothing more than a wretched pervert who dared to flirt with my woman. He must pay the price for his actions."
Zhang Fei's face turned red with anger, "What are you talking about?! I don't even know you, so how can I flirt with your woman?!"
"…My woman is the Third Princess of the Windhaven Kingdom, Chen Yiyun!" Wang Jian responded coldly.
"No way! She isn't your woman!" Zhang Fei responded in shock and anger.
Wang Jian rolled his eyes in disdain, "Would I have any other reason for targeting a small idiot like you?"
As Wang Jian made his accusations against Zhang Fei, Xu Yuting and Meng Xiangyi exchanged a quick yet significant glance.
It was a silent agreement that they both harbored similar suspicions about Zhang Fei's actions.
As they scrutinized Zhang Fei's every move, their doubts only grew stronger.
One of the reasons for their distrust was that Zhang Fei never denied flirting with Chen Yiyun. This had only fueled their suspicion further.
They were both furious at him for his indecorous behavior, and it only served to bolster their doubts about his character.
Meanwhile, Huo Mingzhe's face grew stern as he contemplated the dangerous implications of this conflict. He knew that he needed to defuse the situation before it escalated into an all-out war.
With a determined expression, he stepped forward and placed himself between Wang Jian and Zhang Fei. "Enough," he said in a commanding voice. "There's no need for this to turn violent. Let's settle this peacefully."
Wang Jian regarded Huo Mingzhe with a skeptical gaze. "Peacefully? You do realize that your disciple has wronged me, right?"
Huo Mingzhe nodded. "I understand that, but I believe that there must be some sort of misunderstanding here. Zhang Fei is not the type to deliberately offend others."
Wang Jian snorted. "Misunderstanding? Do you really think I would come all this way just for a misunderstanding?"
Huo Mingzhe raised his spear, his body tense and ready for action. "I don't know what your true intentions are, but I won't let you harm my disciple or his clan."
"You're a fool if you think you can take me on," Wang Jian said with a smirk. He raised his hand, and a torrent of flames erupted from his palm, engulfing Huo Mingzhe in a sea of fire.
But Huo Mingzhe was not so easily defeated. He emerged from the flames unscathed, his spear pointed at Wang Jian. "As I said earlier, I won't let you harm my disciple," he said in a cold voice.
As they began to battle, Wang Jian launched himself forward with his Origin Fist, the force of the blow creating a shockwave that sent Huo Mingzhe reeling backwards.
But Huo Mingzhe quickly regained his footing, summoning a gust of wind to propel himself forward and launching a series of swift jabs with his spear.
Wang Jian responded with his Beam of Destruction, a burst of energy that tore through the air and sent Huo Mingzhe flying backwards once again.
But once again, Huo Mingzhe managed to recover, using his mastery of the wind element to dodge Wang Jian's attacks and keep him at bay.
In response, Wang Jian utilized his advanced flame control to imbue his Origin Fist with the power of flames, creating a fiery explosion that caught Huo Mingzhe off guard and sent him flying.
As they continued to battle, Huo Mingzhe revealed his skills related to the wind element and spear.
He demonstrated the "Whirlwind Thrust," a technique that involved spinning his spear in a circular motion to create a powerful vortex of wind that could deflect Wang Jian's attacks.
He also used the "Typhoon Strike," a move that involved creating a miniature tornado with his spear that could suck in his opponent and slam them into the ground.
But Wang Jian was not to be outdone. He unleashed his Mystic Force, a burst of energy that surrounded him in a blinding aura and temporarily boosted his strength and speed.
He also used his Shadow Manipulation to create illusory copies of himself that confused Huo Mingzhe and made it difficult for him to predict his movements.
Despite Huo Mingzhe's impressive skills and defensive techniques, Wang Jian steadily gained the upper hand.
He used his Moonrise Fist, which was imbued with the power of flames, to strike with the force of a meteor that completely shook Huo Mingzhe's spear.
Huo Mingzhe could feel the spear vibrating in his hands, and he had to utilize quite a bit of force to calm it down. However, he quickly counterattacked as he initially used Gale Spear Thrust to try and catch him off guard, but Wang Jian was able to deflect the attack with his Origin Fist.
Huo Mingzhe then attempted to use Wind Dance to dodge his attacks, but Wang Jian's Spiritual Sensitivity allowed him to predict Huo Mingzhe's movements and land several blows.
Undeterred, Huo Mingzhe unleashed his Cyclone Spear Sweep, creating a small tornado that knocked Wang Jian back.
However, Wang Jian quickly regained his footing and charged forward with his Mystic Force, overwhelming Huo Mingzhe's defenses.
Huo Mingzhe attempted to use Piercing Wind Strike to break through Wang Jian's attacks, but it was ineffective against Wang Jian's Divine Shielding Iron Body.
Finally, Huo Mingzhe used Tempest Spear Assault, creating a whirlwind that surrounded him and made it difficult for Wang Jian to approach.
However, Wang Jian's Shadow Manipulation allowed him to slip through the winds and land a devastating blow with his Beam of Destruction, sending Huo Mingzhe flying and shattering his Lunar Shield Barrier.
Despite Huo Mingzhe's valiant efforts, Wang Jian steadily overwhelmed him with his array of powerful skills.
Huo Mingzhe understood that he would lose if he continued to hold back.
Thus, he released his powerful spirit that possessed the potential to turn the tables in this battle!
Zephyr's Edge.
As Huo Mingzhe channeled his Spiritual Energy, a faint mist began to envelop him, coalescing into the form of a powerful spirit.
The mist took the shape of a sleek and elegant spear, with a long and slender body that shimmered with a faint blue light.
Huo Mingzhe's eyes glinted with determination as he grasped the spear, feeling its weight and power in his hand. He had created this spirit through years of rigorous training and meditation, pouring his Spiritual Energy into the spear until it became a powerful weapon in its own right.
The spirit was named Zephyr's Edge. A rare spear imbued with the power of the wind.
Its unique intent was called the Tempest Thrust, a devastating attack that summoned a powerful gust of wind to enhance the spear's thrust and strike with even greater force.
As Huo Mingzhe faced off against Wang Jian, he knew that he would need every ounce of power he could muster if he hoped to emerge victorious. Gripping Zephyr's Edge tightly, he braced himself for the battle to come.
As the battle intensified, Wang Jian's lips curled into a mischievous grin as he summoned his own powerful spirit to the field.
A magnificent creature emerged from the fiery depths of his soul, a Dark Flame Double-Headed River Dragon. Its massive wings flapped forcefully, stirring the air with a hot gust as it surveyed its surroundings. Its body was split in half, one side an intense crimson, while the other was a deep, foreboding shade of darkness.
The dragon's two heads were strikingly different. One was wreathed in crimson flames, blazing with an infernal light, while the other was shrouded in darkness, its eyes glowing with a malevolent gleam. Its body was composed entirely of pure spiritual energy, giving it an ethereal, otherworldly presence.
As the dragon roared fiercely, its eyes fell upon Huo Mingzhe's spear, Zephyr's Edge. Wang Jian felt a thrill of anticipation course through him.
Huo Mingzhe was taken aback by this sight, but he quickly composed himself and raised his spear, preparing to do battle.
The two charged towards each other, each confident in their own abilities.
Wang Jian was the first to strike, sending a beam of fire towards Huo Mingzhe.
Zephyr's Edge countered with a whirlwind, but the Dark Flame Double-Headed River Dragon was too fast, dodging the attack and landing a swipe with its claw.
Huo Mingzhe grunted in pain, but he refused to back down. He launched himself forward, unleashing a flurry of spear strikes that Wang Jian deftly dodged.
Wang Jian responded with his own flurry of attacks, the Dark Flame Double-Headed River Dragon's claws and fire breath causing havoc on the battlefield.
Huo Mingzhe was on the defensive, struggling to keep up with his opponent's onslaught.
He attempted to use his Whirlwind Thrust technique, but the Dark Flame Double-Headed River Dragon simply blasted it away with a burst of flames.
Undeterred, Huo Mingzhe tried again, this time with his Typhoon Strike, creating a miniature tornado with his spear that could suck in his opponent and slam them into the ground.
But Wang Jian had already anticipated the move and dodged it, countering with a Firestorm Slash that sent Huo Mingzhe reeling.
Huo Mingzhe could feel his strength waning, but he refused to give up.
He attempted to use his Cyclone Spear Sweep, creating a small tornado that knocked Wang Jian back.
But once again, the Dark Flame Double-Headed River Dragon was too fast, using its speed and agility to dodge the attack.
Wang Jian was now in complete control, his Flame Burst technique blasting Huo Mingzhe with a wall of fire that he struggled to dodge.
The Dark Flame Double-Headed River Dragon was relentless, its claws and fire breath leaving Huo Mingzhe with no room to breathe.
Huo Mingzhe tried to muster all his strength for one final attack, his Tempest Spear Assault, creating a whirlwind that surrounded him and made it difficult for Wang Jian to approach.
But the Dark Flame Double-Headed River Dragon was unfazed, using its own Flame Whirlwind technique to counter Huo Mingzhe's attack and send him flying backwards.
With one final attack, Wang Jian unleashed his Flame Nova, a devastating burst of fire that engulfed the entire battlefield.
Huo Mingzhe was powerless to stop it, and he was knocked unconscious by the force of the blast.
Wang Jian stood victorious, his Dark Flame Double-Headed River Dragon roaring in triumph as it dissipated into the air.
The battle was over, and he had emerged as the clear victor.
Zhang Fei and his comrades, including the City Lord, were stricken with terror as they bore witness to the swift and utter defeat of Huo Mingzhe.
They had never imagined that the seasoned warrior would fall so swiftly, leaving them reeling with shock and disbelief.
In truth, Huo Mingzhe's defeat was not solely due to his lack of skills or inferior cultivation. Had he not summoned his spirit, he might have been able to endure the onslaught for a while longer.
However, Wang Jian's spirit, the Dark Flame Double-Headed River Dragon, proved to be a formidable opponent for Huo Mingzhe's Zephyr's Edge.
The sheer strength and intensity of Wang Jian's spirit were too much for Huo Mingzhe to handle, eventually leading to his downfall.
It was a stark reminder that in the world of cultivation, having a powerful spirit can often be the determining factor in a battle.
With a sinister expression etched on his face, Wang Jian slowly approached Zhang Fei, causing the latter to take a few involuntary steps back.
Zhang Fei's right hand was raised in a defensive gesture as he stammered, "Don't you dare come any closer. I'll kill you if you take one more step."
Wang Jian's eyes glittered with malice as he spoke in a low, menacing tone, "Your clan is going to pay for your despicable actions today."
Zhang Fei could feel a cold sweat forming on his forehead as he realized the gravity of the situation. Xu Yuting and Meng Xiangyi, who were standing nearby, watched the confrontation with bated breath. They had already begun to suspect Zhang Fei, and Wang Jian's accusations only served to strengthen their suspicions.
"You have no proof!" Zhang Fei protested weakly.
Wang Jian's lips curled into a sneer. "Oh, I have proof. And it's all the proof I need." With that, he lunged forward, his movements fluid and controlled.
Zhang Fei tried to fight back, but Wang Jian's attacks were too fast and too powerful.
With a swift, fiery punch, Wang Jian sent Zhang Fei sprawling to the ground. Xu Yuting and Meng Xiangyi watched in shock as the once-proud warrior struggled to get up, his face twisted in pain and fear.
"Weren't you going to kill me if I took one more step? Why don't you try that threat again?" Wang Jian asked in a disdainful tone. He knew that if Zhang Fei actually possessed the power to kill him, he certainly wouldn't have stopped at that moment.
There was a good chance that his master in that ring was not ready to utilize their last bit of power to save Zhang Fei.
Zhang Fei coughed up a mouthful of blood, his eyes blazing with hatred as he glared at Wang Jian. "I will make sure to repay this debt of blood!" he snarled, his voice thick with fury.
Wang Jian merely chuckled in response, the sound cold and cruel. "You'll be lucky to even have a chance to try," he said, his eyes glittering with triumph.
"Your clan's downfall is inevitable," Wang Jian declared with a fierce glint in his eyes.

Without wasting any time, Wang Jian unleashed his Dark Flame Double-Headed River Dragon Spirit and launched a powerful attack at the barrier surrounding the Zhang Family.
The barrier shattered into countless pieces, leaving the Zhang Family exposed and vulnerable.
As Zhang Fei witnessed this devastating turn of events, fear and desperation took hold of him.
He knew that his family's fate now hung by a thread, and that Wang Jian was more than capable of carrying out his threat.
Wang Jian then turned his attention to Meng Xiangyi and the City Lord, his eyes piercing through them like a sharpened blade.
"Are you with him?" he asked, his voice cold and menacing.
The City Lord and Meng Xiangyi exchanged a nervous glance, realizing the gravity of the situation. They knew that their next words could determine the fate of not only the Zhang Clan, but also their own lives.
After a tense moment of silence, Meng Xiangyi stepped forward and spoke with a determined voice.
"We are not with him," she said, her eyes locking onto Wang Jian's.
Wang Jian nodded slowly, seemingly satisfied with her response. "Good," he said, his tone softening slightly.
"I had hoped you would make the right choice."
However, a malevolent grin suddenly appeared and grew wider as he spoke, "However, City Lord, your clan made a fatal mistake by coming here to aid Zhang Fei. It proves that you had the intention to support him from the start."
The City Lord and Meng Xiangyi's faces were riddled with terror and desperation as they contemplated the gravity of the situation.
Before they could even utter a word, Wang Jian spoke once again, "But if you wish to atone for your clan's sins, I shall grant you a solitary chance."
He turned his attention towards Meng Xiangyi and declared in a voice that echoed through the area, "That woman must be the one to end Zhang Fei's life. If not, the Meng Clan will be condemned to the same fate as the Zhang Clan."
Meng Xiangyi's eyes widened with shock and disgust. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Just how could she kill her own lover?!
But as she looked around, she realized that there were no other options. The fate of her clan lay in her hands. She had to make a decision that could either save or destroy her entire family.
Observing his daughter's hesitance, the City Lord hastily approached and knelt before Wang Jian. "Please have mercy, your highness! This man is her lover! It would be too inhumane to demand her to execute him."
Wang Jian's mouth twisted into a sneer. "...Very well. I shall grant her three days to ponder over it."
"Three sunsets later, Zhang Fei shall face public execution. If she comes forth and carries out the execution, I shall not hold the Meng Clan responsible. Instead, I shall bestow generous rewards upon your clan. You may even have an opportunity to establish your clan in the heartland of the Everlasting Mystic Empire," Wang Jian declared.
"What?!" The City Lord was dumbfounded to hear such an offer. "May I inquire, your highness, who are you?"
"I am the Seventh Prince of the Everlasting Mystic Empire, Wang Jian!" his proclamation caused the City Lord and others present, including Zhang Fei, to gasp in astonishment.
To imagine that the prince of the Everlasting Mystic Empire would visit their town and personally dismantle the Zhang Clan and Zhang Fei.
Upon hearing about Wang Jian's identity, Meng Xiangyi and Xu Yuting gazed at Zhang Fei with eyes full of contempt and disgust. They were now entirely convinced that Wang Jian's accusations were valid, and that Zhang Fei had indeed wronged his woman.
Xu Yuting, her face twisted in disgust, hissed at Zhang Fei, "You had the audacity to dally with a lady of such stature? You are nothing but a vile scoundrel!"
Meng Xiangyi's fists clenched tightly as she glared at Zhang Fei with unbridled fury. "You wretched cretin! I abhor you for what you have done! All of this suffering is because of your disgusting actions!"
The two women seethed with anger, their faces twisted with fury. Their elegant attire and refined features belied the rage that simmered within them.
Meanwhile, Zhang Fei's heart sank as he realized the gravity of the situation. He had never expected his actions to bring about such dire consequences.
The thought of losing his life was terrifying, but the disdainful looks and harsh words of those he once considered his friends were equally painful to bear.
He looked up at Wang Jian, who stood tall and unmoved, his expression cold and calculating. It was clear that he had no intention of showing mercy, and that Zhang Fei's fate was sealed.
The tension in the air was palpable, and the atmosphere was heavy with the weight of impending doom.
Wang Jian issued a command to them, "Retreat to your abode immediately."
The City Lord led his entire clan, including his daughter, as they made their way back to their mansion.
Wang Jian watched as the Meng Clan departed, leaving him alone with Xu Yuting. He spoke with a stern tone, "Your training in this branch has come to an end. It's time for you to return to the mainland."
Xu Yuting scoffed at his words and replied with disdain, "Do you really think your position as the Seventh Prince gives you the authority to meddle in the internal affairs of the Dao of Alchemy Society? Even you should know your limits."
Wang Jian merely rolled his eyes at her words. "I do not claim the right to interfere in the Society's affairs," he responded. "But Xie Zhiwei, a dear friend of mine, certainly can. And I'm afraid that does not bode well for you."
Xu Yuting snorted dismissively. "I will return to the mainland only when my grandfather issues the official order. Not a moment sooner."
With that, she turned on her heel and strode away, not sparing a single glance for Zhang Fei, who stood by silently. It was clear that she was disappointed in him.
Wang Jian watched her leave, then turned his attention back to Zhang Fei, a sly glint in his eye. "And what am I to do with you?" he mused aloud.
In the distance, the Zhang Clan was decimated and pillaged by the overwhelming force of the Lin and Ji Clans.
The echoing cries of jubilation filled the air as the ground was saturated with the blood of Zhang Clan members.
Zhang Fei felt tears welling up in his eyes as he watched helplessly while his kin were ruthlessly slaughtered. His resentment towards Wang Jian surged with an intensity he had never felt before.
"Master, I implore you to end his life. I am prepared to pay any price. Please, just kill him!" he muttered through gritted teeth.
Wang Jian's ears perked up at the sound of those words, and he grew wary.
He knew without a doubt that Zhang Fei was communicating with his enigmatic master through that mysterious ring.
As Zhang Fei made his earnest request, his ring began to emit a dazzling blue light, and a mysterious figure slowly emerged from within.
The figure that took shape before him was that of a stunningly beautiful young woman with flowing crimson hair that cascaded down her slender back, framing her perfect features.
Her striking eyes, the color of emeralds, shone with an otherworldly brilliance that drew in the viewer.
The intricate silvery threads and shimmering beads of her delicate fairy-like attire adorned her lithe figure, imbuing her with an ethereal grace.
Her ample bosom and captivating curves exuded a seductive allure that could make any man lose his mind.
Dressed in a delicate fairy-like attire, the young woman's attire was an intricate display of silvery threads and shimmering beads that adorned her slender form, imbuing her with an ethereal grace. And yet, the anger in her eyes was unmistakable as she gazed at Wang Jian.
Turning her gaze towards Zhang Fei, she gave him a disdainful look and said, "All of this calamity has befallen upon you and your clan because you're nothing but a perverted fool who loses his senses at the mere sight of a woman's beauty!"
Zhang Fei pleaded earnestly, "Please, Master! I am ready to change my ways. I beg you to help me one last time!"
The young woman gave a begrudging sigh before saying, "Very well. But remember, you are on your last chance. Fail this princess again and there will be no second chances."
While this young woman talked to Zhang Fei, Wang Jian was observing her carefully. He noticed that she possessed an ethereal body.
Meeting Wang Jian's gaze, the young woman spoke in a frigid tone, "Do you have any final words?"
"Are you a spirit hailing from a higher realm?" Wang Jian inquired.
"So, you are asking a question for your last words? But since you are about to die, I will answer it. That's correct. I am Yu Qing, the Scarlet Star Slaughter Goddess!" Yu Qing responded.
"I see. Since that's the case, then I won't feel uncomfortable using this," Wang Jian responded, his eyes glinting as he reached into his interspatial ring and retrieved a small, white cube.
As Yu Qing laid her eyes upon the cube, her pupils dilated with a mixture of fear and disbelief. She recognized it immediately - the Divine Spirit Prison, a powerful artifact from the upper realm with the ability to trap spirits.
"Y-you possess the Divine Spirit Prison? How is that possible?" she stuttered, her voice betraying a hint of desperation.
Had Yu Qing retained her former level of cultivation, the confines of this prison would have been child's play for her to dismantle.
However, in her current state, she was well aware that the prospect of breaking free from this divine prison was an insurmountable task.
With a cunning grin, Wang Jian replied, "I came prepared."

Before Yu Qing could comprehend his words, a radiant beam of white light emanated from the cube, entrapping her inside.
Zhang Fei stood there dumbfounded, unable to believe that his otherworldly master was helpless against this man!
A satisfied smirk crossed Wang Jian's face as he sealed Yu Qing inside the cube.
He thought to himself, 'Waiting an entire week in the capital for this artifact was worth it. Without it, I might have met my demise today.'
This artifact was unearthed in an ancient ruin located in the Silvercrest Dominion, a kingdom whose territory was controlled and managed by Bai Liqin previously and Wang Jian currently.
This artifact had been kept safe in the kingdom's treasury for generations.
Upon receiving detailed information from Zhang Fei, Wang Jian realized that he required this powerful treasure. He immediately ordered his subordinates to bring it to Aria City without delay.
After waiting for an entire week, the artifact finally arrived in the capital, and Wang Jian wasted no time in acquiring it. With the artifact in his possession, he set out towards the Windhaven Kingdom.
"Is there anyone else you wish to call upon for aid?" Wang Jian questioned with a disdainful tone.
Zhang Fei maintained an unbroken silence. His otherworldly master was his final hope.
"Let us depart," Wang Jian declared, picking up Zhang Fei and making his way towards his Black Castle.
Leveraging the capabilities of the system, Wang Jian redesigned the interior of the Black Castle and created an underground dungeon.
Given that Zhang Fei's cultivation was inferior to his own, Wang Jian could effortlessly suppress it, rendering it impossible for him to escape the dungeon.
With haste, Wang Jian made his way to the Royal Palace in the heart of Windhaven Kingdom's capital, Solterra.
After a few hours of travel, Wang Jian arrived at his destination, and his presence was quickly relayed to his ninth brother, Wang Lan.
Despite the news, Wang Lan chose to remain in seclusion and instructed his subordinates to closely monitor his seventh brother's movements.
Ignoring Wang Lan's actions, Wang Jian proceeded to the King's chambers, where King Chen of Windhaven Kingdom resided.
With a grand and imposing demeanor, Wang Jian introduced himself, "I am Wang Jian, the Seventh Prince of the Everlasting Mystic Empire."
King Chen's expression turned wary upon hearing those words, and he replied with caution, "What brings you to my chambers, Your Highness?"
Wang Jian took his seat on a throne placed ahead of the king and began, "I have a proposition for you, King Chen. Betroth your daughter to me, and in return, I shall grant complete autonomy over your kingdom. You shall still need to follow my orders, but I assure you that I won't try to control your kingdom. It will remain under your command, unlike the current situation."
King Chen's eyebrows raised in surprise as he tried to comprehend the proposal. "What guarantee do I have that you won't breach this agreement and seize control of my kingdom?" he inquired.
Wang Jian smirked, "My word is my bond, King Chen. Besides, I have no intention of micromanaging your affairs. You should be clear about how the situation regarding the Silvercrest Dominion. That is my territory."
King Chen finally began to believe Wang Jian's words. As a King, he possessed a strong information network and had naturally known about the situation of other kingdoms.
He had heard that despite being vassals to the Royal Family of the Everlasting Mystic Empire, the Royal Family of the Silvercrest Dominion was flourishing.
They truly held complete autonomy within their territory as they obediently served the Royal Family of the Empire.
Wang Jian leaned back on his throne, his expression unreadable. "I understand your caution, Your Majesty. But do not forget that time is of the essence. You have only one day to make your decision and convince your daughter to accept this proposal."
The King nodded in understanding, and Wang Jian stood up, signaling the end of their meeting.
King Chen summoned his most trusted council members to the Royal Council Chamber to discuss the proposal made by Wang Jian. The council members were loyal and wise men who had always advised King Chen well in the past.
He began, "My dear council members, we have been given a proposal by Wang Jian, the Seventh Prince of the Everlasting Mystic Empire. He has offered to betroth himself to Chen Yiyan in exchange for complete autonomy over our kingdom."
The council members listened intently, nodding in agreement as they heard the proposal.
One of them spoke up, "Your Majesty, this is a golden opportunity for our kingdom. Wang Jian is a powerful prince, and with his backing, we will be able to defend ourselves against any threats that may come our way."
Another council member added, "Not only that, but he has also promised to grant us complete autonomy. This is a rare opportunity for us to maintain our sovereignty and independence while still benefiting from the support of a powerful empire."
King Chen smiled at his council members, pleased with their agreement.
"I am glad to hear that you all share my opinion. It is true that Wang Jian has a fearsome reputation, but he has also shown us great generosity and goodwill."
A third council member spoke up, "I agree, but we must consider the matter of Wang Lan, his ninth brother. If Wang Jian is to grant us complete autonomy, how will he handle his brother's presence in the palace? After all, if Wang Lan remains here, he might try to interfere in the matters of our kingdom and retain his control."
The council members looked at each other, pondering the issue.
Finally, one of them said, "Perhaps we can negotiate with Wang Jian to have Wang Lan removed from the palace. If we explain the situation to him, I am sure he will be understanding."
King Chen nodded, "That is a wise suggestion. I will speak with Wang Jian and make the necessary arrangements. We must ensure that our kingdom is protected and that our people are well taken care of."
Following the council meeting's conclusion, King Chen proceeded to meet with Wang Jian once again.
Wang Jian had taken up residence in the Royal Palace, and after the meeting, he had met up with Wang Lan.
Wang Lan instructed one of his subordinates to prepare a guest chamber for Wang Jian, where he waited patiently for King Chen's decision.
As King Chen made his way towards the chamber to discuss the deal's conditions, Wang Lan wore a scowl on his face, having learned of the king's visit to Wang Jian.
He was aware that King Chen had a discussion with his council members after his earlier discussion with Wang Jian.
Although Wang Lan still didn't know what that discussion was about, he had a feeling it wasn't good for him.
King Chen entered Wang Jian's guest chamber and found him lounging on a chair, his eyes closed in contemplation. Wang Jian opened his eyes as he heard King Chen's footsteps and stood up to greet him with a casual wave.
"Hey there, King Chen! What brings you by?" he asked with a relaxed tone.
King Chen cleared his throat before replying, "Your proposal has caught my attention, Wang Jian. But there are concerns that need to be addressed."
Wang Jian leaned back in his chair, "Shoot, what's on your mind, King Chen?"
King Chen's expression turned serious, "It's your ninth brother, Wang Lan. I fear he may try to interfere with the affairs of my kingdom."
Wang Jian shrugged, "Don't worry about him. I've got it covered. Even Wang Lan won't be able to mess with your kingdom, trust me."
King Chen raised an eyebrow, "How can you be so sure?"
Wang Jian flashed a grin, "I have my ways, my friend. But believe me, I will keep my promise and give your kingdom complete autonomy. Just make sure to fulfil your end of the deal."
"…Very well. I shall trust your words, Your Highness. Just give me some more time to talk to my daughter and convince her," King Chen stood up as he left Wang Jian's chambers.
After King Chen's departure, Wang Lan arrived at Wang Jian's chambers to pay him a visit.
Wang Jian was seated in his chambers, deep in thought about his meeting with King Chen, when his ninth brother, Wang Lan, entered the room.
"Brother, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?" Wang Jian asked, offering him a seat and a cup of tea.
Wang Lan sat down and took the tea, maintaining a calm facade while his eyes scanned the room, looking for any signs of his brother's intentions.
"I heard you were meeting with King Chen today," Wang Lan said, his tone casual but with an underlying hint of threat.
Wang Jian remained calm and collected, taking a sip of his own tea before replying, "Yes, that's correct."
"And what were you discussing?" Wang Lan asked, his eyes narrowing slightly.
Wang Jian gingerly set down his tea, focusing intently on his brother's cold, penetrating stare.
"As a matter of fact, I was about to discuss a matter of utmost importance with you, dear brother," he began with a calm and measured voice.
Wang Lan leaned forward, his tone laced with a hint of venomous curiosity. "And what, pray tell, might that be?"
Without wavering, Wang Jian replied, "I require you to relinquish all power you presently hold to King Chen and vacate the palace."
Wang Lan's eyes widened in disbelief, his lips parting slightly in astonishment. "You want me to give up my power? And abandon my rightful place within this palace?"
"Indeed, that is what I am asking of you," Wang Jian replied with an unwavering conviction. "I aim to form a powerful alliance between our two territories, and to achieve that, King Chen must be granted complete autonomy."
In an instant, Wang Lan's expression hardened, his voice taking on a menacing edge. "And why, may I ask, did you choose to discuss this matter with King Chen instead of conferring with me, the rightful ruler of this territory?"
With a slight smirk, Wang Jian responded, "The answer is quite simple, brother. I intend to marry King Chen's daughter, Chen Yiyan, and take her as my concubine."
Wang Lan's countenance darkened as he comprehended Wang Jian's motives. The fact that his own brother requested him to relinquish his power in his own territory was outrageous enough.
But when he realized that Wang Jian also coveted the woman he had his sights on, a look of contempt twisted Wang Lan's features.
64c3e69bf75c4d1715a59001
Wang Lan's face contorted with anger, "Over my dead body! How dare you even consider laying your filthy hands on her? And as for me leaving the palace, it will never happen! I will not bow down to your demands, brother!"
Wang Jian's face remained impassive as he set down his cup. "You leave me no choice," he said calmly.
"What do you mean?" Wang Lan demanded.
"I mean that I have reached the King Realm and will not hesitate to use my power to enforce my will," Wang Jian said, his voice cold.
Wang Lan's eyes widened in shock and fear as he realized the extent of Wang Jian's power. "You... you have reached the King Realm? How is that possible?"
Wang Jian smiled coldly, "It is possible because I have been working hard while you have been indulging yourself in luxury. Now, will you comply with my demands, or do I have to use force?"
Wang Lan glared at his brother with suspicion, "Prove it to me. I don't believe that you have really reached the King Realm."
Wang Jian sighed but complied with his brother's demand. He closed his eyes, and an aura began to emanate from his body, causing the air to vibrate around him. His hair and clothes began to ripple as though caught in a strong wind.
Wang Lan watched in awe as Wang Jian's aura intensified, and he began to feel a sense of fear creeping over him.
Suddenly, Wang Lan lunged forward with a sword in his hand, attempting to strike his brother.
But Wang Jian was too fast, and he dodged the attack with ease, grabbing Wang Lan's wrist and twisting it behind his back.
Wang Lan cried out in pain as Wang Jian held him in a tight grip.
"Enough!" Wang Jian said, his voice booming. "I have proven my point. You will comply with my demands or face the consequences."
Wang Lan struggled against his brother's grip, but it was no use. Wang Jian was too strong, and he knew that he had no choice but to comply.
"I...I understand," Wang Lan said, his voice trembling with fear and defeat.
Wang Jian released his grip on his brother and watched as he stumbled backward, clutching his wrist in pain.
"Good," Wang Jian said, a hint of satisfaction in his voice. "Now, let us make the necessary arrangements for your departure."
Wang Lan nodded, his eyes downcast, as he realized that he had been defeated. He knew that he had no other choice but to leave the palace and comply with his brother's demands.
Despite his defeat, Wang Lan was not one to give up so easily. He knew he had to fight back, even if it meant seeking justice from the Emperor through his mother.
As Wang Jian took a sip of his tea, he suddenly issued a chilling threat, "Make sure to keep details of my cultivation with you. If I find out that the Emperor knows of my cultivation, I will not hesitate to take drastic measures."
Wang Lan's eyes darted up, his expression turning wary as he heard his brother's threat. "What do you mean by that? Are you planning something?"
Wang Jian merely smiled cryptically, taking another sip of his tea. "I mean that I don't want anyone else to know about my cultivation. It's a delicate matter that could upset the balance of power in the kingdom."
Wang Lan's eyes narrowed suspiciously, "And what do you plan to do if someone finds out?"
Wang Jian set down his cup and stood up, his movements fluid and graceful. "I will take whatever action is necessary to protect myself and my position, even if it means eliminating any potential threats."
Wang Lan tensed, his hand moving towards his sword hilt. "Are you threatening me, brother?"
Wang Jian's eyes flickered with a cold light as he spoke, "I am merely warning you, brother. Don't make the mistake of underestimating me."
Wang Lan felt a chill run down his spine at his brother's response. He knew that Wang Jian was not one to be taken lightly, and his cold, nonchalant demeanor only added to his sense of intimidation.
"Very well," Wang Lan said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I understand the terms of our deal, and I will do as you ask."
Wang Jian's lips curved into a small, satisfied smile. "Good. Remember, brother, it is important that we maintain our positions in the palace, and we cannot afford any distractions or complications."
Wang Lan nodded, his eyes cast downward in submission. He knew that he had no choice but to agree to his brother's demands, or risk facing the consequences.
As he left the room, he couldn't help but feel a sense of betrayal and anger towards his brother. But he also knew that he would have to keep his feelings in check, for the sake of his own safety and survival in the palace.
The news of Wang Lan's abrupt departure from the Royal Palace of the Windhaven Kingdom spread like wildfire, sending shockwaves throughout the kingdom.
King Chen was taken aback by this sudden turn of events and was quick to realize that Wang Jian had indeed delivered on his end of the bargain.
As the morning sun began to rise, King Chen made his way to his daughter's chambers to discuss the matter with her. The golden rays of sunlight illuminated the ornate walls of the palace as he walked through the long corridors.
Upon reaching his daughter's chambers, he found her deep in thought, her face etched with concern. "My dear daughter," he said in a soft, comforting voice. "I wanted to talk to you regarding an important matter."
Chen Yiyan asked curiously, "What is it, Father?"
King Chen took a deep breath before speaking, "My dear Yiyan, I have come to inform you of a decision that I have made for the sake of our kingdom. As you may have heard, Wang Lan has left the palace, and it is clear that he will not be returning."
Chen Yiyan looked up at her father, confusion etched on her face, "What does that have to do with me, Father?"
King Chen took a moment to compose himself before continuing, "In order to regain control over the kingdom, I have betrothed you to Wang Jian, the Seventh Prince of the Everlasting Mystic Empire. He has agreed to assist us in exchange for your hand in marriage."
Chen Yiyan's eyes widened in shock and disbelief, "But Father, I do not wish to marry him. I like Zhang Fei."
King Chen's expression hardened, "Yiyan, you must understand that this is for the greater good of our kingdom. Your marriage to Wang Jian will secure our future and ensure the safety of our people. Zhang Fei is not a suitable match for a princess like you."
Chen Yiyan's sobs broke through the silence, "But Father, I cannot bear the thought of marrying someone I do not love. Please do not make me do this."
King Chen's heart softened at the sight of his daughter's tears, "Yiyan, I understand your pain, but please trust me when I say that Wang Jian will treat you well. As the concubine of a Royal Prince, you will have access to the best resources and will be able to live a comfortable life."
After a few moments of silence, Chen Yiyan finally relented, "I will do as you wish, Father. For the sake of our kingdom, I will accept my marriage to Wang Jian."
King Chen breathed a sigh of relief, "Thank you, Yiyan. It truly makes me proud to have an understanding and mature daughter like you. You have made the right decision."
Upon reaching an agreement with his daughter, King Chen wasted no time in informing Wang Jian of the positive outcome. Wang Jian was elated upon hearing the news and expressed his gratitude to King Chen.
The two men celebrated the betrothal over a bottle of the finest wine, toasting to their newfound alliance.
The news of Wang Jian's betrothal to Chen Yiyan spread like wildfire, with rumors of their relationship quickly making their way through the capital and beyond.
Wang Jian had calculated that these rumors would reach the ears of Xu Yuting and Meng Xiangyi, further fueling their animosity towards Zhang Fei.
As the day wore on, Chen Yiyan finally found herself standing in the courtyard of Wang Jian's lavish residence. Having agreed to the marriage with him, she was eager to learn more about the man who would soon become her husband.
Wang Jian, dressed in a regal purple robe, welcomed her with a warm smile and gestured for her to take a seat beside him.
As Chen Yiyan approached Wang Jian, she couldn't help but notice his striking appearance.
He was tall, with broad shoulders and an air of confidence that radiated off him. His silver hair was swept back, revealing piercing blue eyes that seemed to stare right through her.
Chen Yiyan couldn't help but think that Wang Jian was the most handsome man she had ever seen. She felt a flutter in her chest as she sat down next to him, her heart beating faster with each passing moment.
As for Wang Jian, he was carefully observing Chen Yiyan as she sat beside him. He couldn't help but be struck by her beauty.
Her long black hair cascaded down her back in gentle waves, framing her heart-shaped face perfectly. Her eyes were a deep brown, and she had a small, delicate nose and full lips.
Wang Jian couldn't help but feel that she had a certain cuteness about her, with a hint of seductiveness that made him want to know more about her.
"I'm sure you have many questions," Wang Jian said, his voice soft and gentle. "And I promise to answer them all truthfully."
"Why did you make such a condition to the deal with my father?" Chen Yiyan inquired, her gaze fixed on his handsome face.

Wang Jian's eyes sparkled as he spoke, "I must confess, my dear. I caught a glimpse of you in the palace and was instantly smitten. I knew I had to have you, and I used my power and influence to ensure that your hand in marriage would be mine. I understand if you feel this is wrong and despise me for it."
Chen Yiyan's heart fluttered at his honesty, and she couldn't help but admire his straightforwardness. "I appreciate your candor, Prince Wang Jian," she replied, her voice soft and sincere.
"I understand that my father has promised me to you, and I will honor his wishes," she continued, her voice trembling with emotion.
"But I hope that we can build a relationship based on trust and respect. I have no doubt that you will make a wonderful husband, but I ask for your patience and understanding as I adjust to this new chapter in my life."
Wang Jian responded with a reassuring nod and a warm smile. "Of course, my dear," he said in a soft voice.
As Chen Yiyan observed the Prince's charming smile, her heart skipped a beat. She couldn't deny the fact that the man she was betrothed to was not only honorable but incredibly handsome as well.
As the conversation continued, Chen Yiyan found herself becoming more at ease with Wang Jian. She started to open up about her life in the palace and her hobbies, and Wang Jian listened attentively, genuinely interested in what she had to say.
"I have always enjoyed painting and calligraphy," Chen Yiyan said, a hint of a smile playing at the corners of her lips. "It is a way for me to express myself and escape from the rigidity of court life."
"I can relate," Wang Jian responded with a chuckle. "I also have a love for the arts. In fact, I have a collection of paintings and sculptures that I would be honored to show you someday."
Chen Yiyan's eyes lit up with excitement. "I would love that," she replied. "I've always been fascinated by art and would be thrilled to see your collection."
As the two continued to chat, Chen Yiyan found herself feeling more and more comfortable with Wang Jian. She couldn't deny the attraction she felt towards him, but at the same time, she knew that their marriage was not just based on physical attraction.
"I know that our marriage is not just about love and attraction," Chen Yiyan said, her voice soft and sincere. "I understand that there are political implications and responsibilities that come with being married to a prince."
Wang Jian nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, you are correct. But I promise you, Chen Yiyan, that I will do everything in my power to make sure that you are happy and fulfilled in our marriage. I will be your partner and your ally in all things."
Chen Yiyan smiled at his words, feeling a sense of warmth spread through her. She couldn't deny the fact that she was starting to fall for the charming Prince, and she hoped that their marriage would be a happy one.
As they continued to converse, Chen Yiyan suddenly mustered the courage to ask Wang Jian a question that had been on her mind. "What about your other women?" she inquired, knowing that as a prince, he was bound to have multiple relationships.
Wang Jian's expression shifted slightly, but he quickly composed himself and answered her truthfully. "I am already in a relationship with four women," he said, mentioning their names as Su Xian, Fen Shuying, Kang Huian, and Han Xifeng.
Chen Yiyan listened carefully, trying to hide any hint of jealousy or disapproval. "I see," she said simply, before changing the topic to something else.
As they talked, she began to feel more comfortable around Wang Jian and found herself opening up to him more.
As the day came to an end, Chen Yiyan returned to her chambers while Wang Jian rested on his bed and slept peacefully.
The next day, Wang Jian began to check out the system notifications.

Observing that Chen Yiyan's favorability and loyalty towards him were still in their early stages, Wang Jian realized that it would not be wise to inform her about Zhang Fei's execution.
He feared that she might request to meet him or plead with him to spare Zhang Fei's life if she found out about his involvement in the matter.
Wang Jian realized that he had to think on his feet since the matter could not remain hidden for too long. He knew that, at best, he could only delay the inevitable for a few days.
To mitigate the impact of the revelation, he decided to spread the news about Zhang Fei, which was so scandalous that Chen Yiyan would be thoroughly repulsed by him and might even welcome his execution.
On that very same day, Wang Jian requested an urgent meeting with King Chen. As they sat down, Wang Jian began, "King Chen, I have come to discuss a matter of great importance."
King Chen looked at him with concern, "What is it, Your Highness? Is there something wrong?"
Wang Jian explained his plan to him and how he wanted to tarnish Zhang Fei's reputation to ensure that Chen Yiyan would not develop any feelings for him.
"I believe that Zhang Fei's ambiguous relationship with Chen Yiyan could cause trouble for us in the future. Therefore, I think it's best to handle this situation before it becomes a problem."
King Chen was surprised but also intrigued, "I see your point, Prince Wang Jian. But how do you plan to tarnish his reputation?"
Wang Jian's lips curled into a sly and cunning smile. "I believe that if the news were to spread that Zhang Fei tried to assassinate you upon hearing of Chen Yiyan's betrothal to me, she would surely begin to hate him," he explained.
King Chen felt that Wang Jian's words made sense.
King Chen nodded thoughtfully. "Very well," he said, impressed. "When should we begin this plan?"
Wang Jian's answer was swift and confident. "Now," he declared, his mind already formulating the first steps of the operation.
Within minutes, the news of an attempted assassination on King Chen spread like wildfire throughout the entire Royal Palace. The culprit was identified as none other than Zhang Fei, sending shockwaves through the kingdom.
Chen Yiyan, upon hearing the news, was left completely stunned and shattered. She had never expected such a horrific act from someone she had once liked.
As she tried to make sense of Zhang Fei's actions, she was informed that he was filled with rage towards King Chen for arranging her marriage with Wang Jian. In his fury, he had attempted to assassinate the king as a way of venting his anger.
Upon hearing of this reason, Chen Yiyan's hate for Zhang Fei intensified greatly, just as Wang Jian had calculated.
To ensure that Chen Yiyan wouldn't forgive Zhang Fei easily, King Chen acted as if he was gravely injured by Zhang Fei and wouldn't recover any time soon.
Wang Jian's plan worked wonderfully, and he soon left the capital city, Solterra, on his griffin. He was heading back to Qianwei Town.
It was time for Zhang Fei's public execution at the hands of his beloved, Meng Xiangyi.
In the meantime, Meng Xiangyi was in deep thought as she contemplated the matter of killing her beloved. Although Zhang Fei had committed a despicable deed, she still couldn't make up her mind to kill him.
"Meng Xiangyi, my dear daughter, what's troubling you?" he asked with concern.
Meng Xiangyi sighed deeply before replying, "Father, I cannot bring myself to kill Zhang Fei, even after what he has done. I still have feelings for him."
The City Lord listened carefully to his daughter's words before responding, "I understand your pain, my child. But you must remember that he committed a heinous act and must face the consequences of his actions."
Meng Xiangyi knew that her father was right, but the thought of killing the man she loved made her heart heavy with grief. She took a deep breath and nodded slowly in agreement.
"I will do what is necessary, Father," she said, trying to steel herself for the difficult task ahead.
The City Lord placed a comforting hand on her shoulder and spoke softly, "I know it won't be easy, my child, but it's the right thing to do. Remember, we must always put the needs of our clan above our personal desires."
Meng Xiangyi nodded, feeling the weight of her responsibility settling heavily upon her. She knew that the execution was necessary for the good of the clan and tried to focus on that, even as her heart ached with sorrow.

The next day, a massive gathering was arranged in the bustling Qianwei Town square.
People from all walks of life, including high-ranking officials, nobles, and commoners, had come to witness the execution of the notorious Zhang Fei.
The execution pedestal, made of sturdy wood, stood tall in the center of the square. Zhang Fei was tied tightly to it, his head bowed in resignation, awaiting his fate.
The air was thick with anticipation, and even the birds perched atop nearby trees seemed to be holding their breath.
Among the crowd, the members of the powerful Lin, Ji, and Meng clans had secured their positions closest to the execution pedestal.
They were joined by representatives from other small clans and associations, eager to witness the punishment of the notorious traitor.
As the onlookers waited, their eyes fixed on the bound figure, Wang Jian made his entrance, taking his seat in the northern part of the pedestal.
A sly grin crept onto his face as he surveyed the crowd, relishing in anticipation of the impending execution.
As Wang Jian arrived at the scene, all eyes turned towards him, and the air was thick with anticipation and tension.
The assembled crowd knew that he was the mastermind behind the public execution of Zhang Fei, and his mere presence commanded fear and respect.
Whispers of his cunning and ruthlessness spread through the gathering, and many made a silent vow to steer clear of crossing him.
After Wang Jian arrived at the execution site, he waited for a few moments before rising from his chair and addressing the assembled crowd.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for justice to be served," he declared in a commanding voice. "Let the execution begin."
As he spoke, a hush fell over the gathered crowd, all eyes fixed on the wooden pedestal where Zhang Fei knelt, bound and helpless.
Wang Jian turned to Meng Xiangyi and gestured for her to come forward.
"Meng Xiangyi, it is time for you to perform your duty," he said, his voice stern. "Zhang Fei has committed a grave offense, and he must be punished accordingly."
Meng Xiangyi looked up at her father with a mixture of fear and determination in her eyes.
She knew what was expected of her, but the thought of taking another person's life was almost too much to bear.
Taking a deep breath, she stepped forward and raised the sword that had been handed to her.
The gathered crowd watched in silence as she approached the kneeling figure of Zhang Fei. His eyes met hers, and she could see the fear and desperation in them.
She hesitated for a moment, but then steeled herself and raised the sword high above her head.
"I'm sorry," she whispered, before bringing the blade down with all her strength.
Just as Meng Xiangyi was about to execute Zhang Fei, a thunderous voice echoed through the square, causing everyone to turn their heads. "HALT!" commanded the voice.
As the crowd and Wang Jian looked towards the source of the voice, they were awestruck to see four magnificent women soaring through the sky.
Two of them were young and two were more mature, but all of them exuded an undeniable air of power and beauty.
As Wang Jian gazed upon the four beauties who had interrupted the execution, his eyes widened with lust and depravity.
He could hardly contain himself as he drank in their stunning beauty, each one unique in her own way.
The first young beauty had a flawless physique that exuded elegance and grace. Her long, flowing hair was the color of darkness, cascading down her back in soft waves. Her eyes were a piercing blue, and her skin was as white as snow. Despite her ethereal beauty, her demeanor was ice-cold, and her expression was one of utter contempt.
The second beauty was a mature woman, possessing a graceful and voluptuous physique that immediately caught Wang Jian's attention. Her hair was a rich shade of chestnut brown, tumbling in soft curls down her back. Her eyes were a deep, velvety brown, and her skin had a warm, golden glow. Her movements were fluid and graceful, and Wang Jian found himself entranced by her every gesture.
The third beauty was a young fox woman with four fluffy silver tails sticking out from behind her. Her hair was the color of fire, a bright, blazing red that flowed in wild waves around her head. Her eyes were almond-shaped and a rich, honey brown. Her skin was soft and supple, and her body was magnificently curvy, with a bust and hips that could make any man weak at the knees. Wang Jian could barely contain his excitement as he ogled her shamelessly.
The fourth beauty was a mature fox woman, with five silver tails that waved behind her like a banner. She was the most curvaceous woman Wang Jian had ever seen, with a body that seemed to defy the laws of physics. Her hair was a dark, midnight black, and her eyes were a piercing green that seemed to glow with an inner fire. Her skin was like silk, soft and smooth to the touch, and her curves were accentuated by the tight-fitting clothing she wore. Wang Jian couldn't help but lick his lips as he ogled her, his depravity evident for all to see.
As the four beauties stared at Zhang Fei, Wang Jian's mind was awash with desire. He couldn't wait to get his hands on these stunning women, to claim them as his own and revel in their beauty. The thought of what he would do to them made his grin widen, and he licked his lips in anticipation.
'It was a good idea to give them three days,' Wang Jian couldn't help but think in delight.
Wang Jian's suspicions were confirmed as he realized that the two young beauties were undoubtedly Zhang Fei's women.
He surmised that one of them was likely Xiao Ling, Zhang Fei's maid, due to her demeanor.
As for the young fox's beauty, he recognized her as Bixi Shuyan, a notorious figure in the region known for her alluring and seductive nature.
As Wang Jian observed them carefully, he noticed that the two young women weren't actually flying but levitating. It was most likely the elder beauties accompanying them who were helping them fly.
"This execution cannot happen!" Bixi Shuyan spoke while empowering her voice with Qi.
The crowd was thrown into a state of shock and confusion as the execution was brought to an abrupt halt. They all looked up at the sky and tried to discern the identities of the four beautiful women who had appeared out of nowhere.
The women with silver tails were unmistakably members of the Silver Tailed Fox Clan, a powerful and influential group hailing from the Beastclaw Grove.
As Meng Xiangyi and Xu Yuting laid their eyes on the four women, they breathed a sigh of relief. They immediately recognized two of them as Zhang Fei's women, Xiao Ling and Bixi Shuyan.
The older women who accompanied them were equally striking, possessing an air of authority and grace that suggested they were formidable fighters.
Meng Xiangyi and Xu Yuting guessed that one of them was Xiao Ling's master, while the other was Bixi Shuyan's mother.
Both of the older beauties were King Realm experts, which meant that they were among the strongest fighters in the realm.
As Meng Xiangyi and Xu Yuting watched the four women land gracefully, they knew that they had the power to put an end to this unjust execution.
Wang Jian's countenance remained stoic as he looked up at the four striking beauties who had swooped in to halt the execution. "You have some nerve interfering in this matter. Do you not know who I am?" he asked, his voice betraying a hint of annoyance.
Xiao Ling's face contorted with rage at his words. "You are nothing but a vile scoundrel who seeks to murder my lord Zhang Fei without just cause. I shall not stand idly by and let it happen!" she retorted, her voice ringing out loud and clear.
The tension in the air was palpable as the onlookers watched the scene unfold before them.
The four beauties, their hair and tails shimmering in the sunlight, stood resolutely before Wang Jian, their eyes blazing with determination. It was clear that they would not back down.
Wang Jian regarded the four beauties with a mixture of amusement and curiosity, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Very well," he said, his tone clipped. "If you wish to stand in my way, then I shall simply have to remove you."
With a sudden burst of energy, Wang Jian unleashed his cultivation, flooding the entire area with his King Realm qi. The air grew thick and heavy, the young beauties struggling to catch their breath as they were struck by the overwhelming power.
The mature beauties, who possessed the cultivation at the King Realm, recognized the potency of Wang Jian's energy, and their expressions turned serious. They had not anticipated that their enemy would be such a young and formidable King Realm expert.
64c3e69bf75c4d1715a59001
Mei Yan, the mistress of Xiao Ling, couldn't help but voice her concerns, "A person of King Realm such as yourself should not stoop to such unjustified executions."
Lady Zhuoran, the mother of Bixi Shuyan, chimed in, "Even a King Realm expert like you cannot hope to fight us both simultaneously. This fight will only end in your defeat."
Wang Jian's expression remained inscrutable as he gazed at Mei Yan, "You are the Celestial Dragon Sect's mistress for the local branch, correct?"
After Mei Yan nodded in agreement, Wang Jian added with a frigid tone, "Even the Sect Master of your main branch in the empire wouldn't dare to cross me. You will regret interfering in my affairs."
Mei Yan's eyes widened with shock as she realized the extent of Wang Jian's status from his demeanor and attire.
Wang Jian then turned his attention to Lady Zhuoran and spoke with a sinister smirk, "You have made a grave mistake by coming here today. And I will demonstrate the consequences of your actions soon enough."
Lady Zhuoran let out a disdainful snort as she bellowed, "All of you, come out and attack!"
Xiao Ling and Bixi Shuyan had landed on the ground and were making their way quickly towards Zhang Fei.
Suddenly, resounding roars echoed from the nearby forests as hundreds of beasts charged towards the town square. These were the beasts from the Beastclaw Grove.
Zhang Fei's expression brightened with hope, and a smile appeared on his face. He thought that he might have a chance to survive this day.
But Wang Jian had other plans. A malicious smile stretched across his face as he shouted, "Slaughter anyone who dares to approach the execution site! But don't kill those women. Make sure to capture them."
Upon hearing Wang Jian's orders, the members of the Lin Clan, Ji Clan, and the Dao of Alchemy Society, sprang into action, taking up positions around the execution site. They formed a tight perimeter, with weapons at the ready, in anticipation of any attacks.
The City Lord, initially torn between his duty to maintain order and his compassion for Zhang Fei, ultimately decided to side with Wang Jian. He realized that cooperating with the powerful and imposing figure was his best chance of staying alive.
He quickly rallied his own members, who were initially hesitant, and urged them to join forces with the Lin and Ji Clans. Together, they formed a united front, determined to quell any resistance from the four women.
The City Lord knew that if Wang Jian's plans failed, he could always use the chaos to rescue Zhang Fei and make a quick escape. But for now, his priority was to ensure his own survival and the safety of his men.
Xiao Ling and Bai Shuyan were in the thick of battle with members of the Lin and Ji Clans.
Meng Xiangyi and Xu Yuting, on the other hand, stood still and watched the chaos unfold. They refrained from joining the fight for two reasons.
The first was that their factions were allied with Wang Jian, and they didn't want to cause any harm to their own allies or the two women fighting against them.
Secondly, they harbored suspicions about Zhang Fei's actions and believed he deserved punishment for his alleged misdeeds. Therefore, they opted to remain neutral for the time being and observe the situation from afar.
Wang Jian gracefully took to the air, his movements almost ethereal as he faced the two formidable women before him - Mei Yan, the mistress of the Celestial Dragon Sect's branch in the kingdom, and Lady Zhuoran, the leader of the Silver-Tailed Fox Clan.
The battle between the members of the Lin Clan, Ji Clan, and Dao of Alchemy Society and Xiao Ling, Bixi Shuyan, and the beasts from the Beastclaw Grove was intense and grueling.
The Lin Clan, Ji Clan, and Dao of Alchemy Society members were determined to prevent the beasts from approaching the execution site, while Xiao Ling and Bixi Shuyan were equally determined to approach it and free Zhang Fei.
The beasts from the Beastclaw Grove were a fierce and diverse group, with a variety of species fighting on their behalf.
There were large, powerful bears with thick, shaggy fur that made them almost impervious to attack.
There were sleek, agile foxes with razor-sharp claws and teeth, who darted in and out of the fray with lightning speed.
And there were massive, lumbering boars with tusks the size of swords, who charged forward with unstoppable force.
Bixi Shuyan, the young heiress of the Silver-Tailed Fox Clan, fought with grace and precision, her movements almost like a dance.
She was surrounded by a group of foxes, who fought with her in perfect synchronization.
They darted in and out of the melee, their claws and teeth flashing in the sunlight.
Xiao Ling, Zhang Fei's maid, fought with a fierce determination that belied her small size. She wielded a longsword with deadly skill as she infused it with Ice Qi, cutting down anyone who got too close to her or Bixi Shuyan.
The Lin Clan, Ji Clan, and Dao of Alchemy Society members fought bravely, but they were severely outnumbered and outmatched.
They were forced to work together, using their different strengths to defend themselves against the onslaught of beasts.
Some of the Dao of Alchemy Society members used their knowledge of alchemy to create powerful spells that blasted the beasts with fire and lightning.
Others used their martial arts skills to fight hand-to-hand with the creatures, dodging and weaving around their attacks.
The Lin Clan members, with their reputation for being skilled archers, provided cover from a distance, firing arrows at the beasts with deadly accuracy.
They targeted the largest and most dangerous of the creatures, hoping to take them down before they could get too close to the execution site.
Despite their efforts, the Lin Clan, Ji Clan, and Dao of Alchemy Society members were slowly being pushed back.
The beasts were relentless, and they seemed to have an endless supply of reinforcements. The battle raged on for what felt like hours, with neither side gaining a significant advantage.
At one point, Bixi Shuyan let out a high-pitched whistle, and suddenly a group of wolves appeared from the trees.
These wolves were unlike any of the Lin Clan, Ji Clan, and Dao of Alchemy Society members had ever seen. They were almost twice the size of normal wolves, with thick fur that shimmered in the sunlight. They had glowing green eyes that seemed to glow with an otherworldly intelligence.
These wolves fought with a ferocity that was unmatched. They tore through the Lin Clan, Ji Clan, and Dao of Alchemy Society members with ease, their sharp teeth and claws shredding through flesh and bone.
Bixi Shuyan fought alongside them, her movements even more fluid and graceful as she danced around her enemies.
Xiao Ling, on the other hand, fought alongside a pack of bears. These bears were massive, easily twice the size of any bear the Lin Clan, Ji Clan, and Dao of Alchemy Society members had ever encountered.
They charged forward with reckless abandon, their massive paws slamming into the ground with a force that shook the earth.
As the Lin Clan, Ji Clan, and Dao of Alchemy Society members were being pushed back by the relentless beasts, they knew that there was only one way to turn the tide of the battle - to fight with reckless abandon.
Without hesitation, each member pulled out a small pellet from their pouch and swallowed it. These were Violent Qi Empowering Pellets, a powerful drug that Wang Jian had given them earlier in the day.
The effects of the drug were almost immediate, as the members felt a surge of power coursing through their veins.
They could feel their cultivation greatly boosted by a single rank, giving them an edge in the grueling battle. Their movements became more agile, their attacks more precise, and their stamina seemingly limitless.
With newfound strength, the members charged forward with renewed vigor.
The Lin Clan archers fired their arrows with deadly accuracy, taking down the largest and most dangerous of the creatures.
The Dao of Alchemy Society members unleashed powerful spells that blasted the beasts with fire and lightning, while others used their martial arts skills to fight hand-to-hand with the creatures.
Meanwhile, the Ji Clan members fought with ferocity, their weapons glinting in the sunlight as they clashed against the beasts. They moved with fluidity, their movements almost like a dance as they dodged and weaved around the attacks of their enemies.
Despite their outnumbered status, the members of the Lin Clan, Ji Clan, and Dao of Alchemy Society were able to gain the upper hand in the battle.
They fought with determination and courage, using their superior cultivation to dominate the beasts.
The effects of the Violent Qi Empowering Pellets lasted for nearly three hours, and in that time, the members of the three clans were able to claim a hard-fought victory.
It was a battle for the ages, one that would be remembered for generations to come.
The Lin Clan, Ji Clan, and Dao of Alchemy Society had proven their worth, and they had done so in the face of impossible odds. It was a testament to their strength, skill, and unbreakable spirit.
They had slaughtered most of the beasts that had appeared and had also captured Bai Shuyan and Xiao Ling.
Xiao Ling and Bai Shuyan were tied with powerful ropes that were used to restrain Lord Realm Beasts. It was impossible for them to escape.
As the members' grueling battle drew to a close, they found themselves looking around and searching for Wang Jian, Mei Yan, and Lady Zhuoran. The three were nowhere to be seen, however, they knew that the battle was still going on.
This was because the ferocity of Wang Jian's ongoing confrontation against Mei Yan and Lady Zhuoran shook the very earth beneath them, leaving no doubt that the outcome of this battle would determine the fate of all involved.

As the three King Realm warriors floated in the sky, they stared at each other with intense hostility.
Wang Jian, with a malicious grin on his face, openly ogled the other two and taunted them with his words, "Do you really want to engage in battle? You could still flee while I am feeling generous."
Lady Zhuoran snorted derisively and retorted, "You are just a lowly initial-stage King Realm warrior, whereas both of us are at the mid-stage! Our comprehension of the laws is far superior to yours. One of us alone could easily defeat you, let alone both of us."
Her words elicited a loud, mocking laugh from Wang Jian as if he found her arrogance amusing.
Meanwhile, Mei Yan chimed in with a warning, "Although you may hold a significant position in the Empire, do not forget that you are currently in the Windhaven Kingdom. Your death would not matter."
Wang Jian shook his head in amusement and replied, "Your jokes are absolutely hilarious. The only way you two could kill me is by making me laugh to death."
He noticed the stern expressions on their faces and understood that they were serious.
He added, "It's not your fault that you fail to grasp the difference between us. After all, you have lorded over this insignificant kingdom for so long without facing any real challenges. It's only natural for you to become conceited."
Mei Yan snarled, "I hope your combat skills are as impressive as your boasting."
Wang Jian nonchalantly challenged them, "Give it your best shot."
Mei Yan initiated the fight by charging towards Wang Jian, her sword emitting a bright glow. She unleashed her Frostbite Slash technique, imbuing her sword with a chilling aura that could freeze any object it struck.
Wang Jian countered with his Origin Fist, imbued with the Law of Flames, striking her sword with such force that Mei Yan was flung backwards.
Mei Yan was surprised that Wang Jian remained unscathed after hitting her sword with his bare hands.
Just as Wang Jian retaliated, he was forced to evade three water shuriken launched by Lady Zhuoran from his blind spot, causing her to be stunned by his swift reaction.
Before he could reach her, Wang Jian was obstructed by Mei Yan, who unleashed her Frozen Blade Dance.
Multiple ice blades were created, and she wielded them alongside her sword, striking Wang Jian from various angles.
Wang Jian surrounded himself with flames to deflect or dodge each blade of ice. He had deflected a couple of ice blades by striking them with his fists.
As he was preoccupied with this onslaught, Lady Zhuoran employed her Silver-Tailed Fox's Soul Strike, attempting to affect Wang Jian's soul.
However, she soon realized that his soul was like an unyielding rock and failed to affect it with her clan's technique.
Wang Jian smirked as he sensed Lady Zhuoran's failed attempt to affect his soul. "Even your sneak attack was far too weak," he spoke with a mocking tone.
Lady Zhuoran couldn't help but grow weary as she heard those words. She was now realizing the vast difference between them.
Mei Yan, who had been observing the battle with growing concern, decided to use her most potent move, the Blizzard.
Through this technique, she summoned a fierce gust of wind that conjured a tempest of snow and ice, causing Wang Jian's movements to falter.
The storm was so intense that even Wang Jian's vision was impaired, but he relied on his Spiritual Sensitivity to pinpoint his opponents' location.
With Lady Zhuoran's vision obscured, Mei Yan employed a technique to allow her to see through the raging storm.
Grateful for the aid, Lady Zhuoran seized the opportunity to unleash her Aqua Soul Destruction Blade, a lethal strike that combined the power of her bloodline and the Law of Water, aimed at directly assaulting Wang Jian's soul.
Mei Yan, on the other hand, imbued her blade with the Absolute Zero technique, instantly reducing the temperature of her weapon to near absolute zero.
This caused even the air to freeze around it, intensifying the power of her attack. The two charged toward Wang Jian, hoping to vanquish him with their combined forces.
Unfortunately, their efforts were in vain as Wang Jian turned around with an evil grin, his arms pulsating with energy.
His right hand was fortified by the Law of Flames, empowered with Origin Fist, while his left arm seethed with pure dark qi, signifying the Moonrise Fist.
Before the duo could react, Wang Jian pummeled them in their abdomen with his fists, causing a grotesque sound as if their organs had ruptured.
The force of the blow sent them flying out of the city and into the forest with enough velocity to almost separate their souls from their bodies.
Wang Jian descended towards the ground at an alarming velocity and proceeded to employ his Dark Fog technique, enveloping the vicinity in a dense shroud of obsidian haze.
Mei Yan and Lady Zhuoran somehow managed to stand up, and they couldn't help but experience a chill as they were enveloped by this obsidian haze.
Mei Yan's shocked voice rang out in disbelief, "You... you are a demon!" The thought that only a demon could possess such dark attributes was the only logical conclusion she could come to.
Lady Zhuoran's eyes burned with determination as she added, "We knew from the beginning that you weren't a good person, especially when you targeted Zhang Fei. But to think you are a demon..."
Her voice trailed off as she steeled herself for the inevitable confrontation. "We will make sure to end you, even if it means sacrificing ourselves in the process!"
In the midst of the frigid and murky mist, Wang Jian's voice reverberated with a hint of amusement, "You seem to be quite self-important and theatrical. This territory belongs to me, and my abilities have amplified significantly. What makes you believe that you can win?"
"With this!" Mei Yan shouted as she released her spirit.
It was in the form of an ice sword, a majestic and elegant being, embodying the frigid power of the frozen north.
Its name is Glaciate Bladeglow, evoking both the icy chill and the shimmering radiance that emanates from the sword's razor-sharp edge.
In contrast to Mei Yan, Lady Zhuoran's cultivation method differed from that of humans, and therefore, she didn't possess a spirit like Mei Yan did.
As a beast, Lady Zhuoran focused on empowering her bloodline and qi rather than honing her spirit.
She exerted the full potential of her Silver-Tailed Fox Bloodline, causing her tails to throb with immense power.
A unique force enveloped Lady Zhuoran's body, empowering all her attacks with soul force. Hence, each of her blows could inflict direct damage to the adversary's soul.
Furthermore, Lady Zhuoran's heightened abilities allowed her to perceive the souls in her vicinity, thereby enabling her to locate Wang Jian despite the obscured haze.
Mei Yan stimulated her Qi while wielding her Glaciate Bladeglow, which released frigid gusts from her sword that attempted to dissipate the obsidian haze.
However, even as the air around them was briefly cleared, it was rapidly engulfed by an even denser mist.
Lady Zhuoran soon comprehended the reason behind this as she gazed upwards and witnessed one of the two heads of the twin-headed river dragon spewing forth the dark haze.
"That man has summoned his spirit as well and is utilizing it to maintain this mist. We have to destroy it to take care of this mist," Lady Zhuoran solemnly spoke.
Mei Yan asked, "Where is it?" She quickly readied her sword to unleash a powerful attack that could destroy Wang Jian's spirit.
As Lady Zhuoran was observing the dragon's head, she suddenly felt a shiver run down her spine. She turned around just in time to see Wang Jian sneaking up on them from behind.
"Behind you!" Lady Zhuoran exclaimed, alerting Mei Yan of the danger.
Mei Yan quickly turned around and unleashed her spirit with a fierce attack named Frostbite Flash. Her sword glowed with a bright blue light as it sliced through the air towards Wang Jian. The attack left a trail of frost in its wake, freezing everything in its path.
Wang Jian narrowly dodged the attack by quickly backing away.
He soon understood that Lady Zhuoran could also see him, even in this dark mist clearly. 'It must be due to her special bloodline.'
'Utilizing my spirit and bloodline at the same time is rather taxing. But considering my large reserves as a devil, I should be able to outlast them barely. But I should keep in mind to not utilize any powerful technique,' Wang Jian contemplated in his mind.
As Mei Yan and Lady Zhuoran engaged in battle with Wang Jian, they soon realized that he was far more skilled than they had initially anticipated.
The three of them exchanged blows, with Wang Jian expertly dodging their attacks and forcing them to expend their qi quickly.
"Is that all you've got?" he taunted, dodging their attacks with ease. "You'll have to do better than that if you want to defeat me."
Mei Yan gritted her teeth and focused her energy, unleashing her powerful ice spirit technique known as Frozen Lotus Dance.
She spun her sword in a circular motion, sending waves of ice towards Wang Jian. But once again, he expertly dodged the attack.
Lady Zhuoran also unleashed her own technique, known as Five-Tailed Soulstrike.
She called upon the power of her bloodline to strike Wang Jian's soul with a powerful burst of energy.
However, once again, he managed to evade the attack with impressive agility.
As Wang Jian continued to dodge and evade the attacks of Lady Zhuoran and Mei Yan, he continued to taunt and provoke them. "You two sure are disappointments," he sneered.
Lady Zhuoran gritted her teeth and unleashed a flurry of attacks; each one imbued with her special soul force.
"Silver Fox Searing Soul," she shouted as she launched a series of burning blue flames at Wang Jian. But he deftly dodged each attack, his movements graceful and precise.
Mei Yan stepped in and joined the attack, raising her sword high in the air. "Frostbite Storm," she yelled as a gust of icy wind swirled around her blade.
She then brought the sword down in a swift strike, unleashing a cascade of ice that threatened to engulf Wang Jian. But he was ready, and he leapt out of the way just in time.
Wang Jian chuckled. "Not bad, but you'll have to do better than that to beat me," he said.
Meanwhile, Lady Zhuoran closed her eyes and focused her energy, creating a powerful Water Dragon that charged at Wang Jian.
He moved quickly, dodging the dragon and retaliating with a dark energy wave that struck Lady Zhuoran. She grunted in pain but quickly recovered and launched another attack.
She raised her hand and formed a swirling vortex of water around her. The vortex grew larger and more powerful, lifting Wang Jian into the air and trapping him in a water prison. But Wang Jian remained calm and focused, manipulating his own energy to break free from the prison.
Mei Yan then summoned her ice spirit, Frostbite, and imbued her sword with its power.
She charged towards Wang Jian, her sword glowing with a bright blue light. Wang Jian smirked and sidestepped her attack, then struck her with a quick blast of dark energy.
Lady Zhuoran gritted her teeth and shouted, "You won't get away with that!"
She formed a powerful water whip, imbued with soul force, and lashed out at Wang Jian. He managed to dodge the attack, but it left him open for Mei Yan's next move.
Mei Yan charged towards Wang Jian once again, this time utilizing her Frozen Storm technique.
She swung her sword in a circular motion, causing a blizzard to form around Wang Jian. But he quickly raised a shield of dark energy, protecting himself from the onslaught.
The battle continued with each of them unleashing their most powerful techniques, but Wang Jian remained one step ahead, expertly dodging and countering their attacks.
As the battle waged on, Mei Yan and Lady Zhuoran began to feel the strain of their intense qi consumption.
They both knew that they had to finish the fight quickly, but they suddenly sensed a shiver down their spines.
Lady Zhuoran noticed Wang Jian's smirk, giving her an ominous feeling of what was coming.
Suddenly, Wang Jian's hands began to emit dense dark energy, and he swiftly unleashed his powerful technique, Eclipse Domain Annihilation.
A massive dome of energy expanded outward, engulfing Mei Yan and Lady Zhuoran. The dome was so dense and dark that the two women could not see through it.
The two women tried to resist the dark energy by launching their best techniques to be free, but their qi exhaustion had been too intense.
Mei Yan launched her Frozen Tempest, a technique that could freeze anything it touched, while Lady Zhuoran used her Water Dragon Roar, a technique that could summon a massive water dragon to attack her enemies.
However, their techniques were suppressed by Wang Jian's Eclipse Domain Annihilation.
The dark energy seeped into their bodies and halted the circulation of their qi, leaving them vulnerable to Wang Jian's next move.
Wang Jian's eyes glinted with triumph as he watched his opponents struggle. "You two have put up quite the fight, but it's over now," he sneered.
Mei Yan and Lady Zhuoran gritted their teeth as they tried to resist, but the Eclipse Domain Annihilation had drained them of their strength.
They finally understood that they were at Wang Jian's mercy.
Wang Jian drew closer to the two women with a wicked grin spreading across his face. He had anticipated that they might use precious relics or treasures to enhance their abilities, thus making the fight more arduous for him.
However, with his expert combat skills, he had kept them on the back foot and prevented them from gaining any significant advantage.

After concluding the battle, Wang Jian restrained the two women using his formidable King Realm binding chains.
He ensured that they were bound securely, preventing any chance of escape. He carried them to the Black Castle and threw them in separate chambers of the dungeon.
He then returned to the town square, where a crowd had gathered, including members of the Lin Clan, Ji Clan, Dao of Alchemy Society, and the Meng Clan, eagerly waiting for his arrival.
The City Lord breathed a sigh of relief as he realized that he had chosen the right side. Meanwhile, Xiao Ling, Bixi Shuyan, and Zhang Fei's expressions turned deathly pale upon seeing Wang Jian's return successfully.
Meng Xiangyi and Xu Yuting frowned slightly, realizing that Wang Jian's strength was far beyond what they had anticipated.
Despite knowing the capabilities of Lady Zhuoran and Mei Yan, the fact that they had lost to Wang Jian left them in awe of his true power.
Bixi Shuyan's voice trembled as she demanded, "Where is my mother? What have you done to her?"
Wang Jian's lips curled into a wicked smirk, and he replied with a hint of sadism, "Oh, your mother is safe... for now. I have her captive, and she'll be dealt with in due time."
Bixi Shuyan's eyes blazed with fury, "If you harm her in any way, I'll make sure you pay with your life."
Wang Jian shrugged her off and surveyed the battlefield before him. The ground was littered with corpses of humans and beasts, a testament to the carnage that had taken place.
These corpses were once members of powerful clans like Lin, Ji, and Meng or the prestigious Dao of Alchemy Society.
As for the beast corpses, these were once members of tribes that were subservient to the Silver-Tailed Fox Clan.
He let out a deep sigh and commanded the surviving members of the Lin and Ji Clan, "Clean up this mess. Leave nothing behind."
As the Lin and Ji Clan members commenced cleaning up the battlefield, Wang Jian scooped up the bound Bixi Shuyan, Xiao Ling, and Zhang Fei and flew towards the Black Castle.
He hurled them into separate chambers of the dungeon, ensuring they were locked up tightly.
Wang Jian had a specific reason why he didn't instantly take Zhang Fei's life. And that was to gain more destiny points.
Wang Jian had a specific reason for keeping Zhang Fei alive.
He knew that if he killed him, all his heroines would stop providing him with destiny points, as he learned from his encounter with the first protagonist, Lin Feng.
Wang Jian was not one to waste an opportunity to farm points, so he chose to keep Zhang Fei as a means to gain more destiny points.
The first woman Wang Jian decided to target was none other than Xiao Ling. He knew that she was the most beloved and the closest woman to Zhang Fei.
Breaking her would allow him to reap the greatest benefit.
Wang Jian's footsteps echoed through the cold, damp dungeon as he approached the restrained Xiao Ling. He observed her with a wicked smile on his face, admiring her as she struggled against the chains that bound her.
"...I have always wanted to talk to you, Xiao Ling," he spoke, his voice laced with amusement.
Xiao Ling glared back at him, fire in her eyes. "Don't you dare utter my name from your filthy mouth!" she raged.
"Really?" Wang Jian replied, his grin growing wider. "Even when I am the only one who knows the truth regarding the destruction of the Xiao Clan."
Xiao Ling's eyes widened in shock and anger. "What do you mean? What do you know?" she demanded.
Wang Jian simply chuckled, his amusement growing. "Oh, I know quite a bit. But it's more fun to watch you squirm, my dear."
He leaned in closer, his breath hot against her ear. "I must say, you look rather lovely in chains," he whispered. "Maybe I'll keep you here for a while."
Xiao Ling's face twisted with disgust and fury. "You're sick," she spat.
"Perhaps I am," Wang Jian responded while maintaining that smirk.
"Tell me. What do you know about my family's destruction?" Xiao Ling asked furiously with a hint of curiosity.
Wang Jian gazed at Xiao Ling with a greedy expression, taking in her every feature as if she were an exotic delicacy. With a low chuckle, he began, "It's an interesting tale. You became a servant to the very clan that helped annihilate your Xiao Clan."
Xiao Ling's face contorted in disbelief. "That's impossible," she spat. "The Zhang Clan was a noble and righteous clan. They would never commit such an atrocity as destroying my clan. We had nothing but amicable business dealings with them."
Wang Jian narrowed his eyes and leaned in closer to Xiao Ling. "You see, the truth is that your clan's destruction was not a mere coincidence or some random attack. It was all because of a rare alchemy recipe your clan possessed."
Xiao Ling's eyes widened in shock. "What? How could a recipe be the cause of my clan's destruction?" she asked in disbelief.
Wang Jian smirked. "The recipe was highly sought after by all the major clans in Qianwei Town, including yours. However, your clan refused to share it with anyone. They thought they could keep it all to themselves and monopolize the market."
Xiao Ling's heart sank as she realized that Wang Jian might be telling the truth. She recalled the whispers she heard among the servants in the Zhang Clan's mansion regarding a rare alchemy recipe.
"And then what happened?" she asked, her voice trembling.
Wang Jian's expression turned cold. "All the clans banded together to destroy the Xiao Clan and take the recipe for themselves. The Zhang Clan played a crucial part in this, but they kept their involvement a secret. Your clan was destroyed, and the recipe was taken by the Zhang Clan."
Xiao Ling couldn't believe what she was hearing. She couldn't help but recall the time she began serving Zhang Fei in the Zhang Clan's mansion, and she remembered his grandfather's grave injuries.
It all seemed to fit together, and she couldn't deny that Wang Jian might be telling the truth.
Wang Jian looked at her with a sneer. "You see, Xiao Ling, appearances can be deceiving, especially in business."
Xiao Ling's heart was racing, and her eyes widened in shock as she tried to make sense of what Wang Jian was saying.
Her hands were shaking, and she could feel the weight of the chains that bound her.
As she tried to gather her thoughts, she suddenly remembered something that didn't make sense.
"W-why then would Brother Fei help me out by giving me money to provide a proper funeral for my mother?" she asked, her voice trembling with emotion. She could feel the tears welling up in her eyes, threatening to spill over.
Wang Jian's face twisted into a sinister smile as he responded, "It's not hard to guess, Xiao Ling. Your beauty is your biggest asset, and that must have been what attracted Zhang Fei to you. He probably wanted you all to himself.
He further added, "In fact, it's only because of these good looks of yours that I'm taking the time to reveal the truth to you."
Xiao Ling's face contorted in anger as she spat out, "You're disgusting."
Wang Jian chuckled darkly, "I am simply stating facts. The truth can be unpleasant, but it is still the truth.
"It is also the truth that I didn't come looking to capture you. It's you who came while trying to free Zhang Fei. The only person responsible for your current state is yourself. The quicker you understand this, the better it will be for you," Wang Jian spoke firmly.
Wang Jian stood up, a smug grin playing across his face as he left Xiao Ling in her dungeon. His intention had been to sow seeds of doubt in her mind, to make her question whether the Zhang Clan was responsible for her family's downfall.
Despite Wang Jian's lies, the truth remained that the Zhang Clan had played no part in the destruction of the Xiao Clan.
If only Xiao Ling was given a chance to investigate, she would see the falsehood in Wang Jian's words.
But Wang Jian wasn't finished yet. He had grand plans to spread rumours of the Zhang Clan's supposed involvement in the Xiao Clan's demise.
With the Lin and Ji Clans at his disposal, he could use their connections to turn the tide of public opinion against the Zhang Clan.
After dealing with Xiao Ling, Wang Jian decided to meet with her master, Mei Yan.
Wang Jian made his way to the deepest part of the dungeon where Mei Yan, Xiao Ling's master, was being kept in chains.
Mei Yan was a breathtaking sight, even in her restrained state. Her traditional red Chinese dress hugged her curves perfectly, accentuating her beauty.
Despite her helpless position, her eyes were filled with defiance as she glared at Wang Jian.
As he entered the chamber, a chair appeared seemingly out of nowhere, and Wang Jian sat down, never once taking his eyes off Mei Yan.
He couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement as he looked at her.
"You are quite the exquisite sight, Mei Yan," Wang Jian spoke with a depraved grin on his face. "I almost feel bad about the chains, but I suppose they are necessary."
Mei Yan remained silent, but her eyes burned with fury.
64c3e69bf75c4d1715a59001
"Let's not waste any time with pleasantries," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "You attacked me, and now you must pay the price."
Mei Yan remained composed, her arms and legs bound by special chains that were meant to restrain even the most powerful King Realm experts.
She spoke calmly, her voice betraying none of the fear she felt inside.
"I am the branch leader of the Celestial Dragon Sect of Windhaven Kingdom," She said.
"I possess an extensive collection of treasures, talismans, and rare resources. Surely, even someone of your exalted status would be tempted by my offerings. All I ask is that you release me, my disciple Xiao Ling, and her lover Zhang Fei."
Wang Jian sneered, his eyes roaming over Mei Yan's alluring figure.
"There you go again with your conceited offers," he said. "Your treasures mean nothing to me. The only thing you are actually good for is your slutty body."
Mei Yan's expression turned to one of fury as she pulled on her chains, but to no avail. "You dare speak to me like that, you wretched beast! Release me this instant, or face the consequences!"
Wang Jian's eyes glinted with lust as he slowly advanced towards Mei Yan, his intentions clear. "Oh, I'll release you, my dear. But first, let me have a little taste of what I'll be missing."
Mei Yan spat in his face and struggled against her chains even more fiercely, her eyes blazing with anger. "Never! I would rather die than let a disgusting creature like you touch me!"
Wang Jian's wicked grin only widened as he grabbed her chin and forced her to face him. "Then die you shall, my dear. But not before I have my fun."
Wang Jian chuckled darkly as he moved in closer to Mei Yan, his breath hot against her face. He traced a finger down the length of her cheek, relishing the shiver that ran through her body.
"You think you can resist me, Mei Yan? Do you think you're so strong and noble? But you'll soon learn that even the strongest of wills can break under the right kind of pressure."
Mei Yan gritted her teeth and glared at him, her eyes filled with hate. "I will never give in to you, you monster. You can do whatever you want to me, but my spirit will never be broken."
Wang Jian's grin turned predatory as he leaned in closer, his lips brushing against her ear. "We'll see about that."
With that, he reached down and ripped open the front of her dress, exposing her heaving chest. Mei Yan gasped in shock and tried to cover herself, but the chains prevented her from moving.
Wang Jian's hand trailed down her stomach, causing her to shiver with revulsion. He took hold of her breast and squeezed it roughly, eliciting a cry of pain from Mei Yan.
He chuckled again and continued his assault, pinching and twisting her nipple until she cried out in agony.
But to Wang Jian's surprise, instead of breaking down in tears, Mei Yan began to moan softly. At first, he thought she was still in pain, but then he realized that she was starting to enjoy it.
His grin widened as he leaned in and kissed her roughly on the mouth, tasting the blood on her lips. Mei Yan tried to turn her head away, but he held her firmly in place, forcing his tongue into her mouth.
For a moment, Mei Yan struggled against him, trying to push him away. But then, something seemed to change, and she began to respond to his kiss. Her tongue danced with his; her body arched against his touch.
Wang Jian was almost surprised at how easily she had succumbed to him, but he didn't let that stop him. He continued to kiss and touch her, exploring every inch of her body with his hands and mouth.
Soon, Mei Yan was writhing in pleasure, her moans growing louder and more urgent. Wang Jian could feel his own desire growing with each passing moment, and he knew that he had to have her completely.
With a sudden movement, he pulled away from her and removed his clothes, revealing his massive erection.
Mei Yan's eyes widened in shock and disgust, but Wang Jian didn't care. He moved in closer to her, positioning himself between her legs.
With a rough thrust, he entered her, causing Mei Yan to cry out in pain. But as he began to move, something strange happened.
Mei Yan's cries of pain turned into moans of pleasure, and soon she was writhing in ecstasy once again.
As Wang Jian continued to thrust into Mei Yan, he began to explore her body with his hands. He ran his fingers over her heaving breasts, squeezing them roughly as he felt her nipples harden under his touch.
He traced his fingers down her stomach, feeling the taut muscles beneath her skin, before sliding his hand between her legs to rub at her clit.
Mei Yan moaned loudly as he played with her, her body betraying her despite her mind's protests. She could feel her orgasm building within her, and she hated herself for it.
She tried to resist, to fight back against the pleasure that Wang Jian was giving her, but it was too much. She was too aroused, too vulnerable, too helpless.
Wang Jian could feel her nearing the edge, and he intensified his movements. He pounded into her with renewed vigour, thrusting deep and hard.
His hands continued to roam over Mei Yan's body, exploring every inch of her curves and soft skin.
He pinched and pulled at her nipples, eliciting gasps and moans from Mei Yan's lips. He then moved his hands down to her waist, gripping her hips tightly as he continued to pound into her.
Mei Yan's eyes rolled back in pleasure as she felt herself getting closer and closer to the edge. Her body shook with every thrust, and she could feel the tension building inside her.
Wang Jian's thrusts became more urgent, his breathing ragged as he neared his own release.
He leaned down to kiss Mei Yan's neck, sucking and biting at the sensitive skin as he continued to move inside her.
Finally, Mei Yan couldn't take it anymore. She cried out in ecstasy as her body convulsed with pleasure, her inner walls clenching tightly around Wang Jian's member.
The feeling of her orgasm pushed Wang Jian over the edge as well, and he released himself inside her with a grunt.
For a few moments, they both lay there, panting and gasping for air.
Mei Yan's body was covered in sweat, and her eyes were glazed with a mixture of pleasure and humiliation.
Wang Jian pulled out of her and stepped back, admiring the sight of Mei Yan chained and vulnerable, a plaything for him to use as he pleased.
He reached down and stroked her cheek, a cruel smile on his lips. "That was just the beginning, my dear. There's so much more I want to do to you."
Mei Yan's heart sank as she realized that her ordeal was far from over.
She had been defeated and humiliated, and now she was at the mercy of this depraved man.
But even as her mind screamed for her to fight back, her body couldn't help but respond to the touch of his hand.
She hated herself for it, but she couldn't deny the pleasure that coursed through her body as he touched her. She was trapped, a prisoner of her own desires, and there was nothing she could do to escape.
Mei Yan's fury intensified with each passing moment, even as her body began to betray her. She felt the pleasure building within her, but she refused to give in to it. She was determined to keep fighting, never to give Wang Jian the satisfaction of breaking her.
But Wang Jian was relentless, his lust driving him to greater and greater heights of depravity. He squeezed her breasts harder, twisted her nipples, and spanked her ass until it was raw. He even slapped her face a few times just to hear her cry out.
Through it all, Mei Yan refused to give in, her eyes blazing with anger and defiance. But then Wang Jian did something that took her by surprise - he leaned down and whispered in her ear.
"I know you want it," he hissed. "I can feel how wet you are, how ready you are to come. Don't fight it, my dear. Just let go and give in to the pleasure."
Mei Yan's resolve faltered for a moment as she felt the pleasure building within her once again. She tried to resist, but it was no use. Wang Jian's words had broken something inside of her, and she could no longer hold back.
With a cry of frustration and anger, Mei Yan finally succumbed to the pleasure, her body convulsing as she came harder than she ever had before. It was a moment of pure humiliation for her, and it only fueled Wang Jian's lust even further.
He redoubled his efforts, pounding into her with a ferocity that left her gasping for breath.
Mei Yan's body was now his to do with as he pleased, and he took full advantage of it. He pushed her to the brink of exhaustion, making her come again and again until she was no longer able to fight back.
As the night wore on, Wang Jian grew more and more forceful, breaking Mei Yan's body and spirit with each passing moment.
64c3e69bf75c4d1715a59001
After quenching his carnal desires, Wang Jian departed from Mei Yan's dungeon chambers. He felt no remorse for violating her, for he knew she was not a heroine.
She lacked the potential to earn him Destiny Points, and her luck was inferior to his own, meaning that the World's Essence would not provide her with any significant assistance.
Wang Jian had more than one reason for engaging in this depraved relationship with Mei Yan.
In addition to her irresistible and alluring figure, she was the influential leader of the Celestial Dragon Sect, a powerful organization within the Windhaven Kingdom.
Despite his disdainful words towards her, he was well aware of the prestige and influence that came with the position of a branch leader, although it paled in comparison to his own status.
The manner in which Wang Jian had treated Mei Yan was not conducive to a peaceful or amicable relationship.
Rather, it had set the stage for a coercive and dominating relationship, where Mei Yan would remain seething with resentment towards Wang Jian but would be unable to defy his orders due to the leverage he held over her.
Wang Jian had some unfinished business to attend to before making his way to the Royal Palace of Windhaven Kingdom in Solterra.
Chen Yiyan, who was taking care of her father, was surprised not to find Wang Jian in the palace the previous day.
However, she assumed he must have been occupied with an important matter.
When Wang Jian returned to the palace, he encountered Chen Yiyan and quickly began to speak, offering an excuse, "My subordinates informed me that they spotted someone matching the description of Zhang Fei in a nearby district. Unfortunately, that despicable man had already fled by the time I reached the location."
Chen Yiyan readily believed his excuse as she spoke, "Father has been asking about you. He's been quite unwell lately."
Wang Jian's expression softened, "I will go see him immediately."
As Wang Jian entered the king's chambers, he was greeted with a smile from King Chen, "Seventh Prince, it's good to see you. I trust everything is going well for you?"
"The plan is proceeding splendidly. However, it's crucial that you continue to maintain your façade and ensure that Yiyan remains oblivious to any discrepancies," Wang Jian responded.
The king nodded gravely, then proceeded to address a more pressing matter. "Your Highness, as you instructed, I took control of the Kingdom. I ordered all the associations and factions that owe allegiance to the Windhaven Kingdom to pay their annual tribute."
"Unfortunately," he continued with a hint of distress, "most of these organizations have disregarded my command. Some have cited recent looting of their treasuries, while others have simply ignored me. Due to years of subservience and mismanagement, the Royal Family's treasury is now depleted. If this trend continues, our authority will crumble within a few months," the king concluded with a grim tone.
Wang Jian's brows arched inquisitively as he absorbed King Chen's words.
His mind immediately considered the possibility of Wang Lan's involvement in the treasury's depletion.
However, he quickly dismissed the thought as improbable, for he knew Wang Lan was no fool to cross him so hastily.
Wang Jian surmised that Wang Lan would first secure the aid of a potent King Realm expert to ensure his safety before attempting any subversive actions against his plans.
This situation suggested that either the avarice of these associations was the root cause, or there was someone else behind the scenes pulling the strings.
Wang Jian, however, devised a plan to tackle this situation expeditiously by generating a sudden surge of the Royal Family's impact in the Windhaven Kingdom.
As the saying goes, to make the greatest impact often requires significant sacrifices.
Wang Jian informed King Chen, "Give me names of the associations and factions that refused to pay tribute. I will handle them."
King Chen's eyes twinkled with gratitude as he heard these words. He spoke, "I will order my subordinates to reorganize the information and provide you with a list."
"Alright," Wang Jian nodded.
There was a brief moment of silence before King Chen spoke again, "It is dusk now. Why don't you go and get some dinner in the dining hall?"
Wang Jian smiled and replied, "Thank you. I will take you up on that offer."
With that, Wang Jian left the king's chambers and headed towards the dining hall.
As Wang Jian made his way to the dining hall, the aroma of cooked food filled his senses.
The maids had laid out an assortment of dishes on the table, each one looking more delicious than the last.
Soon after, Chen Yiyan entered the dining hall and greeted Wang Jian warmly, taking a seat next to him.
She was wearing a beautiful silk gown in the shade of pale pink, with intricate floral embroidery adorning the bodice and hem.
The delicate fabric flowed gracefully as she walked, and her hair was styled in a loose braid that fell elegantly over her shoulder. Her presence brought a fresh, youthful energy to the room.
Wang Jian leaned in towards Chen Yiyan as he spoke, his eyes glinting with a sense of pride. "King Chen appears to be fine now," he said in a low voice, "I have given him a set of medicinal pellets and herbs. Feed him one daily, and he should recover quickly."
"Thank you. I will make sure of that," Chen Yiyan responded softly.
The two begin to talk as they asked each other about how their day went.
As they continued to talk, time seemed to fly by. Before they knew it, they had finished their meal, and the maids came to clear the table.
As they got up to leave, Wang Jian said to Chen Yiyan, "It was a pleasure having dinner with you. I hope we can do this again sometime."
Chen Yiyan smiled at him and replied, "I would like that very much."
After Wang Jian finished his dinner, a servant approached him and handed him a note that contained a list of all the factions that refused to provide tribute to the Royal Family.
Putting this list in his pocket, Wang Jian departed from the Royal Palace on the back of his griffin, flying towards the Black Castle.
Meanwhile, Xiao Ling was going nearly insane with overthinking about what Wang Jian had told her. She couldn't stop replaying his words in her mind and was consumed by anger and worry.
If Wang Jian's words were true, she couldn't forgive herself for becoming a servant to Zhang Fei's clan, the ones who have had a hand in the downfall of her clan.
At the same time, she feared being deceived by Wang Jian's words and wrongly placing the blame on Zhang Fei.
Mei Yan was disgusted with the situation, but deep down, she couldn't help but feel frustrated and resentful that she was forced to endure such pain and humiliation just because Xiao Ling was hopelessly in love with Zhang Fei.
If it weren't for her disciple's feelings, she would not have cared even if Wang Jian had torn Zhang Fei apart limb by limb.
Bixi Shuyan and Lady Zhuoran were overcome with pure dread, knowing that Wang Jian had yet to come to meet them.
The anxiety they felt was only compounded by the fact that they were being held captive and had no control over their situation.
The only solace they had was in the maids who brought them food at regular intervals, for if not for this, their bodies would have already been depleted of energy by this point.
And finally, there was Zhang Fei, who harbored the most profound dread in his heart. He felt as though his entire existence had been upended by the sudden arrival of Wang Jian.
Everything he held dear had been taken away from him in an instant.
His clan was destroyed, his master was captured, and all of the women who had come to save him were now locked up.
This was the first time in his life that he had experienced such overwhelming despair, and it left him feeling completely numb.
On this day, Wang Jian had resolved to pay a visit to Zhang Fei.
With a nonchalant air, Wang Jian strode into the cell and laid his eyes on the enchained figure of Zhang Fei.
"…Yo!" Wang Jian greeted, his eyes fixed on the captive warrior.
Zhang Fei's eyes glinted with rage as he struggled against his restraints, attempting to break free from the chains that bound him.
But the fetters were unyielding, their grip on him as tight as ever, leaving him immobilized and helpless.
"You must be wondering why I would visit you today," Wang Jian spoke.
"…No," Zhang Fei responded coldly.
"I just have a few questions. Answer those, and I will let you go," Wang Jian spoke with a smirk.
Zhang Fei's eyes widened as he heard this offer. He clenched his fists and decided to endure for the time being. He was counting on Wang Jian's arrogance to truly let him go if he did as he asked.
Well, that was just his wishful thinking, though. Wang Jian obviously wasn't going to do that.

Wang Jian approached the enchained Zhang Fei, his eyes fixed on him with a scrutinizing gaze. "How did the Zhang Clan rise so suddenly?" he questioned in a stern voice, his arms folded across his chest.
Zhang Fei didn't hesitate to respond, "I possessed a rare alchemy recipe that I used to collaborate with the Dao of Alchemy Society," he explained.
Wang Jian raised an eyebrow, a hint of suspicion on his face. "And where did you acquire this recipe? Did your clan possess it?" he inquired further.
Zhang Fei raised his brow as he heard this question. He hesitated for a moment before replying, "Yes. I obtained it while scrounging my family's treasury."
"I see," Wang Jian smirked as he had achieved his motive.
He knew that Zhang Fei had lied to him to conceal the fact that he received it from his otherworldly master Yu Qing.
However, Zhang Fei could never in his dreams guess that his voice had actually passed through the walls and reached Xiao Ling's ears.
She easily recognized their conversation and understood that it was about the rare alchemy recipe that the Zhang Clan had acquired.
Hearing Zhang Fei's answer, Xiao Ling's suspicions and doubts were cleared. Her heart felt cold with fury as she clenched her fists tightly, causing blood to seep out.
She was outraged that she had been serving the Zhang Clan, a family that had played a significant role in the destruction of her own clan.
Wang Jian left Zhang Fei's chambers.
He heard Zhang Fei's shouts, "Aren't you going to free me?! I answered all your questions! You promised!"
"Come back and fulfil your promise!" He bellowed aloud.
In response, the sound of Wang Jian's laughter resounded in Zhang Fei's dungeon chamber, "You really are a stupid fool. Hahaha…"
After departing from Zhang Fei's cell, Wang Jian made his way directly towards Xiao Ling's quarters.
Upon arriving, he could immediately discern that something was amiss.
Unlike before, she seemed to be in a much worse state, with her breaths coming in haggard gasps, and her eyes flashing with an intense fury that seemed to burn like a raging inferno.
As he drew closer, he also noticed that her palms were covered in blood, indicating that she had been clenching her fists so tightly that her nails had dug deep into her flesh.
He asked her in a taunting tone, "I wonder if you received the proof you needed?"
Xiao Ling whispered in reply, her voice barely audible, "Yes, I did."
Even though she had received the evidence she needed, it didn't change her feelings towards Wang Jian. She still despised him, however, her anger towards Zhang Fei was now greater than any other emotion she had ever felt before.
"I see that you want revenge. But I wonder how you will accomplish it. Zhang Clan has already been destroyed. And killing Zhang Fei would be letting him off lightly, considering the sins of his clan," Wang Jian mused aloud.
Xiao Ling realized that even if she wanted revenge, there was nothing she could do as the Zhang Clan was already destroyed, and Wang Jian was the one who orchestrated it.
"However, there is another matter that requires your immediate attention. You need to free yourself from these bindings," Wang Jian said with a smirk, indicating the chains that bound her.
"What are you suggesting?" Xiao Ling asked coldly.
Wang Jian leaned in closer, his words dripping with malice. "I believe that humiliating an individual is the best possible method to get your revenge," he spoke eloquently. "And to humiliate a man like Zhang Fei, all you need to do is steal his most beloved woman from him. And I know just the woman."
Xiao Ling felt her stomach turn as she realized what Wang Jian was insinuating. He wanted her to give herself to him.
"How dare you suggest such a thing!" she hissed, her eyes blazing with fury. "I will never stoop so low as to give myself to the likes of you."
Wang Jian's smirk only grew wider, as if he was expecting this response. "Oh, I know you won't do it willingly," he said, his voice dripping with honeyed malice.
"But I also know that you want revenge just as badly as I do. And if you truly want to make Zhang Fei suffer, you'll do whatever it takes."
Xiao Ling glared at him, her heart pounding with a mix of anger and fear. She knew that Wang Jian was right; she did want revenge, more than anything. But the thought of giving herself to this depraved man made her feel sick to her stomach.
"I will never be a pawn in your sick game," she spat, her voice trembling with anger.
Wang Jian chuckled darkly as he stepped closer to Xiao Ling, his eyes gleaming with a dangerous intensity.
"Think a little about your circumstances, my dear. You're a prisoner with an extremely beautiful body. You could lose that body at any moment once I lose my endurance. So wouldn't it be better if you actually achieve your revenge at the same time of losing your innocence and body?"
Xiao Ling recoiled in disgust as Wang Jian's words sunk in. She knew that he was right, but the thought of giving herself to this evil man was repulsive to her. "I will never do what you ask," she spat, her voice laced with venom.
Wang Jian simply smiled, his eyes glinting with a hint of sadism. "You say that now, but how long can you resist? You're just a weak, helpless girl who's at my mercy. And sooner or later, you'll realize that the only way to get what you want is to give me what I want."
Xiao Ling's heart raced as she realized the truth in his words. She was indeed at his mercy, and there seemed to be no way out.
Wang Jian stepped even closer, his breath hot on her face. "Just think about it, my dear. You could have your revenge and, at the same time, experience pleasure beyond your wildest dreams. All you have to do is give in to me."
Xiao Ling shook her head furiously, her eyes blazing with defiance. "I would rather die than be a pawn in your sick game!"
Wang Jian simply laughed, his eyes filled with wicked amusement. "Oh, my dear. You'll find that death is not so easy to come by in this place. And besides, you'll soon realize that the pleasures of the flesh are far more tempting than any revenge you could possibly seek."
As Wang Jian entered Mei Yan's dungeon chamber, she immediately noticed a new addition - a large, luxurious bed.
A sense of unease filled her, and she watched with mounting dread as he approached her without a word.
Suddenly, he released her from the chains that bound her and tossed her onto the bed.
Before Mei Yan could even react, Wang Jian was already on top of her, his hands exploring her body with a mixture of cruelty and desire.
The violation she experienced was both physical and emotional, as she was forced to endure unspeakable acts of degradation at his hands.
Despite herself, however, she couldn't help but feel a strange, twisted pleasure in the midst of the horror.
As the afternoon turned into evening, Wang Jian's twisted desires seemed insatiable as he continued to ravage Mei Yan's body without mercy. Her cries of pain and pleasure echoed through the cold stone walls of the dungeon chambers.
Despite her body being violated in such a depraved way, Mei Yan couldn't help but feel a sense of shame and guilt. She had always prided herself on her intelligence and wit, but now she found herself being used as nothing more than a vessel for Wang Jian's sick pleasures.
As the sun began to set, Wang Jian finally finished with Mei Yan and left her there, battered and broken. She lay on the bed, her body trembling with a mix of pain and pleasure, and her mind filled with a deep sense of shame and regret.
A group of maids quickly entered the room, each carrying buckets of warm water and towels.
They approached Mei Yan with gentle hands, carefully washing every inch of her body to rid her of the filth and sweat that had accumulated during her ordeal.
Mei Yan winced as they touched the bruises and sore spots that Wang Jian had left on her skin, but she remained silent, knowing that resistance would only make things worse.
The maids worked efficiently and quickly, and soon enough, Mei Yan was left clean and fresh.
Mei Yan soon found herself bound by those restraining chains.
After sating his lust, Wang Jian had approached the Lin, Ji, and Meng Clans in Qianwei Town.
He informed these three clans regarding King Chen's issues and ordered them to submit a memorandum to the Palace that they would submit to the Royal Family.
The next faction he approached was the Dao of Alchemy Society. It didn't take much effort convincing them considering that Wang Jian had Xie Zhiwei's backing.
He was sure that the lower-ranked clans would think twice before disobeying King Chen.
However, this was merely a stopgap measure. Wang Jian planned to unite the entire Windhaven Kingdom in one go. He gazed at the list and selected some powerful factions while circling their names.

The passage of time flew by as an entire week slipped away.
Wang Jian's comings and goings from the Black Castle to the Royal Palace became a regular occurrence, each day bringing him one step closer to his goal.
His meetings with Chen Yiyan at the grand palace and his nightly rendezvous with Mei Yan in the Black Castle were just a small part of his intricate plan.
As for Xiao Ling, every day, Wang Jian employed his cunning words to convince her to submit to his desires, with a calculated strategy that proved to be shockingly effective.
The days melted into one another, each passing more quickly than the last.
During the long, dark nights, Wang Jian defiled Mei Yan's body with an unspeakable intensity that left her spirit broken, and her body violated.
Despite her pleas for mercy and release, Wang Jian remained merciless, determined to extract every last bit of pleasure from her.
Meanwhile, Xiao Ling's heart burned with hatred and rage but also with a growing sense of helplessness. She found herself trapped in Wang Jian's web of deceit, slowly being worn down by his constant manipulation and coercion.
Her resolve faltered with each passing day, and she couldn't help but wonder if her fate was already sealed.
Wang Jian had not yet visited Lady Zhuoran and Bixi Shuyan, who were still imprisoned in his Black Castle, at this point.
As the days went by, the two became more and more worried since they had no idea of the other's state of health.
As the days went by, they became increasingly concerned about the Silver-Tailed Fox Clan.
The two were aware that the other creatures in the forest would take advantage of their absence to cause trouble for the clan.
Wang Jian had his reasons for not visiting the two and tormenting and breaking them like he did with Mei Yan.
Unlike Mei Yan, he had another use for them and their clan in mind.
Finally, after a week of torment, Xiao Ling made the gut-wrenching decision to negotiate with Wang Jian.
Xiao Ling sat shackled in the dungeon chamber of the Black Castle, her body sore and her spirit broken. As she heard the approaching footsteps of Wang Jian, she braced herself for what was to come.
Wang Jian stood before her with a menacing grin on his face.
Summoning all her courage, Xiao Ling spoke up through gritted teeth. "I am willing to negotiate with you," she said, her voice trembling slightly.
Wang Jian's grin widened as he leaned in closer to her. "Oh, really?" he replied, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "And what exactly do you have to offer?"
Xiao Ling steadied herself before speaking, "I offer to become your maid and serve you, but only on the condition that my master, Mei Yan, is released unharmed."
Wang Jian's lips curled into a sinister smile as he responded, "You are quite the cunning one. By becoming my maid, you will be able to exact revenge on Zhang Fei while also securing your master's safety. However, what do I stand to gain from this arrangement?"
Xiao Ling took a deep breath and asked, "What would you have me do?"
Wang Jian's eyes gleamed with malice as he replied, "I require your unwavering obedience to my every command. If you agree to these terms, I will release your master unharmed and ensure that your revenge on Zhang Fei is executed to perfection."
Xiao Ling's response was swift as she nodded and said, "I accept your proposal."
Her agreement came as no surprise since she had already weighed the costs and benefits of her decision.
She understood that by becoming Wang Jian's maid, she would be subjected to his lustful desires, compromising her chastity.
However, she deemed it a necessary evil to secure her vengeance against Zhang Fei and protect her beloved master Mei Yan.
"This deal will be applicable from tomorrow," Wang Jian left after uttering those words.
Xiao Ling felt a twinge of relief that Wang Jian had accepted her offer. At least she had secured her master's release from the clutches of this wicked man.
But little did she know that Wang Jian was already making his way to Mei Yan's cell, driven by his twisted desires.
As he approached Mei Yan, his eyes gleamed with an insidious hunger.
The defeated and submissive expression on Mei Yan's face was a testament to the horrors she had already endured at the hands of this depraved man.
She knew all too well what was coming next, and there was no hope of resisting his evil advances.
To Mei Yan's astonishment, Wang Jian refrained from his usual predatory behavior. He kept a safe distance and asked, "Do you desire to bring an end to this confinement?"
"What exactly do you mean?" Mei Yan asked, eyeing Wang Jian warily.
"I require a service from you," Wang Jian answered suavely, a charming smile on his face. "In exchange for this task, I will release you from your confinement and grant you the privilege of liberating another captive of your choosing."
Mei Yan's eyes widened with disbelief. She had not expected such an offer from the ruthless and cunning Wang Jian. "Are you being serious?" she asked, hoping that she wasn't being deceived.
"Absolutely," Wang Jian replied with a nod. "Your task is to take charge of your Celestial Dragon Sect's branch in the Windhaven Kingdom and help the Royal Family quell any factions or sects that are rebelling against them."
Mei Yan pondered over his proposal. It seemed like a fair enough deal, and it could only benefit her in the long run.
"And you'll release the captive I choose?" she asked tentatively.
"Of course," Wang Jian replied with a shrug. "Choose whoever you wish."
Mei Yan hesitated for a moment before making her decision. "I choose my disciple, Xiao Ling. Please set her free," she said, her voice soft and pleading.
"Very well. However, there is a caveat to this arrangement." Wang Jian said in a low, insidious tone.
"Until you fulfill your obligation, Xiao Ling will be bound to serve me as my personal maid. Rest assured, I can guarantee her safety on the condition that you continue to perform the assigned task."
As Mei Yan was about to speak, Wang Jian interjected, his voice low and ominous, "This is not up for debate. If you do not agree, then the status quo will remain unchanged. But let me warn you, I may tire of you at any moment and seek the company of a younger, more vibrant woman."
Mei Yan recoiled in disgust at Wang Jian's lecherous tone, but she knew she had little choice.
She weighed the pros and cons in her mind and finally relented, "Fine. I will agree to your terms, but you must keep your word and not harm Xiao Ling."
Wang Jian's smirk widened, revealing white teeth, "Excellent. I am pleased we could come to an agreement."
Had Mei Yan been aware of Wang Jian's agreement with Xiao Ling, she would have undoubtedly regretted and berated herself for accepting the proposal.
Unfortunately, she wouldn't find out about it until much later.
After striking a deal with Mei Yan, Wang Jian approached her with a lecherous grin and whispered, "Now that the formalities are out of the way, let's proceed to more intimate matters."
With a rough pull, Wang Jian ripped Mei Yan's top, exposing her ample breasts. He groped and fondled them while twisting her nipples until they became stiff peaks.
Mei Yan let out a sharp gasp, trying to resist his advances.
Wang Jian leaned in and took a bite of her breasts, causing Mei Yan to cry out in pain.
He then rubbed his hardening member against her crotch, pressing against her panties.
Mei Yan's struggles were futile as Wang Jian overpowered her, his hands roaming all over her body, taking what he wanted.
Mei Yan's body trembled in fear and disgust as Wang Jian forced himself upon her, taking pleasure in her agony. He didn't stop until he was satisfied, leaving Mei Yan broken and used.
The room was silent except for Mei Yan's labored breathing and Wang Jian's satisfied chuckles.
After a few hours, Wang Jian finally left her cell with a sated expression.
As the sun set over the horizon, Wang Jian soared through the sky atop his majestic griffin, finally returning to the grand Royal Palace in Solterra.
There, he dined with Chen Yiyan, meticulously weaving his web of deceit, feeding her lies and half-truths to fuel her hatred for Zhang Fei.
Every word he spoke was calculated to stoke her fury, to make her yearn for Zhang Fei's downfall. And it worked. As he watched her seething with anger, he knew he had her right where he wanted her.
All he needed now was a little more time to let the rumours fester and the mistrust grow.
The Lin and Ji Clans had spared no effort in spreading malicious falsehoods about the Zhang Clan, painting them as traitors and scoundrels.
And while there were some who saw through the lies, not a soul dared to stand up for Zhang Fei and his family.
The atmosphere was thick with fear and suspicion, and Wang Jian revelled in it, knowing that the time for Zhang Fei's demise was drawing near.

Xu Yuting and Meng Xiangyi, two young women from prominent families, were leading very different lives.
Xu Yuting had recently received a summons from her family, prompting her to leave Qianwei Town and return to the capital city of the Everlasting Mystic Empire.
On the other hand, Meng Xiangyi was still reeling from the recent battle that had taken place in Qianwei Town.
She had retreated to the safety of her mansion, where she was trying to come to terms with the terrifying events that had unfolded in the town square.
A week had elapsed, and Meng Xiangyi was finally beginning to move on from the traumatic battle that had taken place in Qianwei Town. However, her peace was short-lived, for Wang Jian made an unexpected visit to the Meng Clan's mansion.
This time, the guards did not dare to impede his entrance.
"I have a proposition for you, Mister Meng," Wang Jian said, his voice even and composed.
"I would like your daughter to join my faction and return to the Everlasting Mystic Empire to work for me. I can guarantee that she will be provided with the best resources, training, and techniques to aid her development."
The City Lord was almost swayed by Wang Jian's words and replied, "I will discuss this matter with my daughter."
Later that night, the City Lord entered his daughter's chamber and informed her of the proposal.
Meng Xiangyi responded with a bitter smile, "It seems that I have no choice."
"Indeed," the City Lord sighed. "Since Wang Jian's arrival, the power dynamics of Qianwei Town have been utterly disrupted. Despite the Meng Clan being the dominant force among the clans, I have a feeling that will change soon enough with the Lin Clan and the Ji Clan having Wang Jian's backing."
"To ensure our clan's stability, we need Wang Jian's support, and to obtain it, you must accept his offer."
Meng Xiangyi couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment. 'I understand the situation and the need for our clan to have a strong ally,' she thought to herself, 'but it would have been nice if Father had asked for my opinion.'
As she mulled over her thoughts, she couldn't shake off the feeling of being treated like a mere pawn in her father's game of politics. 'Does my opinion not matter? Am I nothing more than a tool to be used for the benefit of our clan?' Meng Xiangyi wondered.
Despite her inner turmoil, she knew that she had to accept the proposal.
"I agree to this proposal," she said aloud to her father.
The City Lord let out a sigh of relief and patted her hand. "Thank you, Xiangyi. I know this is not what you would have wanted, but it's for the greater good of our clan."
Meng Xiangyi simply nodded and put on a polite smile. "I will do my duty as a daughter of the Meng Clan."
The City Lord soon left her room without paying any attention to his daughter's thoughts.
Meanwhile, Wang Jian granted official freedom to Xiao Ling and Mei Yan, who had been held captive in the Black Castle.
The two reunited in the grand Hall of the castle, where Xiao Ling rushed into Mei Yan's arms, expressing her relief and joy, "Master, I am so glad to see you safe and sound. Please take care of yourself."
Mei Yan hugged her disciple tightly and replied, "I will, my dear. And you must take care of yourself too. You have shown immense bravery and resilience in the face of danger."
At that moment, Xiao Ling couldn't contain her joy at the fact that she had made the right decision by accepting Wang Jian's deal. He had kept his word and released her beloved master!
Mei Yan shared the same sentiment as she took in her disciple's appearance. There wasn't a single mark on her, and her purity was intact. This reassured Mei Yan that Wang Jian hadn't violated her.
"Be patient, my dear. I will come back to free you soon," Mei Yan whispered softly into Xiao Ling's ear.
Unaware of her master's deal with Wang Jian, Xiao Ling could only assume that Mei Yan would come back with a powerful force to rescue her from Wang Jian's grasp.
The women parted ways, and as soon as Mei Yan was gone, Wang Jian turned his attention to Xiao Ling.
He ordered her to put on her maid uniform and begin her duties, a stark reminder of her new life as a servant in his household.
Xiao Ling followed his order and wore her maid uniform. It was placed in her room.
She looked quite different in her maid uniform than she did in her usual attire.
The dress was made of a smooth, black fabric that hugged her curves and flowed gracefully around her ankles.
It was adorned with silver buttons down the front and had a white collar and cuffs that contrasted beautifully against the darkness of the fabric.
Her long, flowing hair was neatly pulled back into a sleek ponytail, with a few strands left loose to frame her face.
Her eyes, which were usually full of determination and strength, were now lowered demurely, adding to the meekness of her appearance.
As Wang Jian laid eyes on Xiao Ling in her new maid uniform, his twisted smile widened, betraying his wicked intentions.
"Let us proceed to the dungeon," he commanded.
Xiao Ling was taken aback by the order, but soon realized its purpose.
They were going to meet Zhang Fei, and Wang Jian intended to reveal her new status to him, causing him humiliation and anger.
Although nervous, Xiao Ling was also eager to witness Zhang Fei's reaction.
It was the other reason she had agreed to Wang Jian's proposal; it would give her the opportunity to exact revenge upon Zhang Fei.
Zhang Fei was startled as the door to his cell creaked open, not expecting visitors outside of mealtime. But his shock only grew as he saw Wang Jian standing before him, flanked by none other than Xiao Ling. The sight of her in a maid's dress stunned him.
He couldn't help but wonder how things had come to this. After all, not too long ago, Xiao Ling was his beloved, and they had shared a deep love for one another.
Unbeknownst to him, it was the truth that Wang Jian had revealed to Xiao Ling about Zhang Fei and the Zhang Clan, which had caused her a change of heart.
Zhang Fei struggled to keep his composure as he looked upon the woman he once loved, now standing alongside the man who had imprisoned him.
He couldn't fathom how things had gone so wrong between them.
"Why...why are you standing by his side, Xiao Ling? And why are you dressed like that?" Zhang Fei's voice trembled with a mixture of confusion and emotion as he gazed at her, searching for answers in her eyes.
"Is it truly so difficult to guess?" Wang Jian sneered, as he placed his arm possessively around Xiao Ling's waist and pulled her in close to his body, his touch intimate and forceful. "Your dear Xiao Ling has simply found me more charming than someone like you."
Xiao Ling's body tensed at the touch of Wang Jian, and she fought the urge to pull away.
Though she desperately wanted to resist his advances, she knew that in order to completely destroy Zhang Fei's mentality, she needed to go along with Wang Jian's plan.
So, she forced herself to remain still, even as Wang Jian's grip on her waist tightened.
Zhang Fei's heart sank as he watched the scene before him. He couldn't believe that the woman he once loved was now in the arms of his greatest enemy.
His fists clenched in anger and despair, as he struggled to maintain his composure.
He longed to unleash his most powerful blow on Wang Jian, but the heavy chains that bound him made it impossible.
Even if he could break free, it would change nothing. The only satisfaction he would gain from such an action would be the temporary relief from his pent-up frustration.
Xiao Ling couldn't help but feel a twisted satisfaction as she gazed at Zhang Fei's pained expression.
"You must be thanking the heavens that you're still alive, but it's a shame really. If you had died during your execution, you wouldn't have to witness this sight of your former lover in my arms," Wang Jian said with a cold, calculating smile.
At that moment, Xiao Ling's words landed like a crushing blow to Zhang Fei's heart.
She declared, "Serving His Highness brings me such immense joy, Zhang Fei. You can't even begin to imagine."
Wang Jian seized the opportunity and added, "Did you hear that? Don't worry, Zhang Fei. I'll take good care of her," with a wicked grin on his face.
Zhang Fei's eyes betrayed his dismay, and Wang Jian continued, "But she won't be the only one. I'll take care of all your lovers."
At this moment, Zhang Fei's despair reached the depths of the abyss. And Wang Jian received a notification from the system.
Upon reading the notification, a sinister smile appeared on his face.
He turned to Xiao Ling and commanded, "This will be your first task as my maid. Kill Zhang Fei."
64c3e69bf75c4d1715a59001
Xiao Ling was startled as her intellect processed Wang Jian's utterance. She had not envisaged that he would direct her to terminate Zhang Fei.
Despite being incensed with Zhang Fei for his clan's involvement in the obliteration of her Xiao Clan, Xiao Ling was not without reservations as she contemplated the idea of taking his life.
As Xiao Ling pivoted towards Wang Jian with the intention of imploring him to revoke his command, she came to an abrupt halt as she apprehended the unyielding expression in his eyes.
His gaze bore into hers with unwavering severity, conveying an unmistakable message that his directive was non-negotiable.
"I…I don't have a weapon on me," Xiao Ling offered weakly, wracking her mind for any possible excuse to escape Wang Jian's command.
A sly grin crept across Wang Jian's countenance at her words, and he deftly extracted a dagger from its ornate sheath, handing it to Xiao Ling with a flourish.
The blade glimmered wickedly in the dim light, its razor-sharp edge honed to perfection. Its hilt, crafted from rare ebony wood and studded with gleaming amethysts, provided an exquisite contrast to the menacing steel of the blade.
Xiao Ling hesitated, her fingers trembling as she reached out to accept the weapon, realizing the gravity of the task that lay ahead.
With the weapon now in her possession, Xiao Ling strode purposefully towards Zhang Fei, the clink of her heels echoing through the stillness of the room.
As their eyes met, a jumble of feelings swirled within her, making her heart race and her hands shake.
But she knew that she couldn't afford to hesitate. She drew a deep breath and with a decisive gesture, plunged the dagger into Zhang Fei's head, obliterating any vestiges of life that remained within him.
The room was momentarily filled with the sickening sound of metal meeting bone, before falling silent once more, save for the sound of Xiao Ling's ragged breaths.
Wang Jian had a smile on his face as he witnessed this scene. He soon approached Xiao Ling and hugged her while whispering, "You did a wonderful job."
The reason he gave this order was because the system had given him a prompt.

[Secondly, if the target has luck equal to or below the user's, the Enchantment Ability will instantly increase their favorability towards the user to 50.]
[The cooldown period for this ability is three months.]
[Black Castle Teleportation: Through this ability, the Host can summon the Black Castle or even reverse summon himself inside the Black Castle. It has a cooldown period of one week.]
"Apply the Enchantment Ability on Yu Qing," Wang Jian instructed the system.
Considering Yu Qing was from a higher realm, Wang Jian hoped for the 20% chance to work.
[Using the Enchantment Ability on the selected target: Heroine Yu Qing.]
[Failed! The Enchantment Ability failed to work on the selected target because of her high luck value.]
Wang Jian couldn't help but sneer at the system's failure, 'I knew the system would disappoint me at this crucial moment!'
However, he did notice something peculiar. The system was mentioning Yu Qing as a Heroine even after Zhang Fei's death. This indicated that Yu Qing was a Heroine to another protagonist.
There was also a chance that this change occurred after Zhang Fei lost all his luck. Wang Jian was certainly surprised to see this, but he calmed down quickly enough.

Wang Jian had successfully deceived and conquered Xiao Ling, thereby ending her relationship with Zhang Fei, and in doing so, he was rewarded with almost 100,000 Destiny Points.
Additionally, Bixi Shuyan's imprisonment in the Black Castle caused her to spiral into a state of deep despair, and her shattered mentality left her utterly terrified.
This, in turn, earned Wang Jian more Destiny Points.
As Wang Jian relished his stay in the Windhaven Kingdom, a series of dramatic events unfolded in Aria City, the capital of the Everlasting Mystic Empire.
One of Wang Jian's associates, Li Wei, had been mercilessly murdered.
Li Wei was the son of a prominent member of the notorious Lotus Assassins and had met his end while en route to his mission to eliminate a target.
His corpse was found by the city guards who were on patrol as they heard someone fighting. Unfortunately, by the time they reached the site, Li Wei had already passed away.
The assailant was nowhere to be seen.
At first, Wang Jian's companions were grief-stricken by Li Wei's demise.
However, eventually, they came to terms with it and accepted that he had simply been unlucky to cross paths with a more formidable opponent.
The situation took a turn when one of Wang Jian's accomplices, Tang Xiaohui, the scion of a prosperous merchant, embarked on a journey to transport valuable goods to a client in a distant city.
However, while en route and at a considerable distance from the city, Tang Xiaohui's carriage was ambushed.
What was unusual about this ambush was that it was carried out by a solitary figure.
Thankfully, Tang Xiaohui was a prudent individual who had arranged for several top-ranking guards to accompany him at all times.
The shadowy figure engaged in a fierce battle, valiantly fending off each of Tang Xiaohui's guards with ease.
Despite coming perilously close to ending Tang Xiaohui's life multiple times, the assailant's luck seemed to have turned against him.
Tang Xiaohui was taken aback by the sudden ambush, left with no understanding as to why this individual would target him.
The mysterious assailant wielded a two-handed Heavy Sword. It was truly a sight to behold.
It was a massive weapon, measuring at least six feet in length and almost two inches in thickness, making it an intimidating sight to anyone who crossed its path.
The blade itself was made of a rare and sturdy metal that shone brilliantly in the sunlight, while the hilt was wrapped in a sleek black leather that provided a comfortable and secure grip.
The most distinctive feature of the sword, however, was its elemental affinity. The blade was imbued with the power of the wind, which was evident in the way it glowed with an ethereal blue aura.
Whenever the mysterious assailant swung the sword, it would create a powerful gust of wind that could knock back Tang Xiaohui's guards.
The weapon was clearly crafted with the purpose of harnessing the power of the wind, and it was a truly magnificent weapon to behold.
As Tang Xiaohui gazed at the Heavy Sword, he recalled the fatal wounds found on Li Wei's body that were inflicted by a similar weapon.
The connection was clear; this assailant must have been the one responsible for Li Wei's demise.
Exhausted and outnumbered, the assailant was forced to flee to preserve his life.
He soon found himself cornered at the edge of a cliff, and with no other option, made a fateful leap into the abyss, ensuring that he would not fall into the hands of Tang Xiaohui's guards.
Upon witnessing the mysterious assailant's fatal leap, Tang Xiaohui breathed a sigh of relief, assured that the assailant had met his end.
Promptly, he relayed the news to his companions, who were initially jolted by the revelation but eventually shared his sense of ease.
This occurrence led them to speculate whether someone was targeting them.
The fleeting period of tranquility was abruptly interrupted when Luo Ying fell prey to an ambush. He was en route to attend a competition when the attacker struck.
Fortunately, being the son of a high-ranking member of The Celestial Talisman's Guild, he was provided with the assistance of expert guards, who were concealed from plain sight.
Upon witnessing the Heavy Sword in the attacker's possession, Luo Ying realized that he was the same mysterious assailant who had been targeting his acquaintances.
However, the assailant's prowess seemed far more formidable than what Tang Xiaohui had described. In addition to wielding the wind element, the assailant also unleashed flames of a pure vermillion hue.
This assailant was quickly forced to escape by the combined efforts of Luo Ying's guards.
Once he had escaped, Luo Ying immediately sent a note through messenger birds to all his comrades that the assailant was still alive, and he was purposely targeting them.
In due course, word reached the ears of the Everlasting Mystic Empire's sovereign regarding Wang Jian's activities in the Windhaven Kingdom.
According to the informant, Wang Jian had compelled Wang Lan to depart from his domain. Furthermore, it had come to light that Wang Jian had seized control of the kingdom with an iron fist, disregarding the fact that it had been assigned to Wang Lan by the Emperor himself.
The Emperor was infuriated by this display of audacity and disrespect towards his authority.
Wang Jian's actions were viewed as a brazen affront to the Emperor's prerogative and an egregious violation of the trust placed in him.
As a result, the Emperor issued a summon for Wang Jian to appear before him in the imperial capital, to answer for his actions and face the consequences of his disobedience.

Upon receiving the Emperor's summons, Wang Jian was not taken aback as he had anticipated this turn of events for some time.
It was highly probable that Wang Lan's associates had covertly leaked the information to the Emperor's contacts in Solterra City.
Alternatively, the Emperor's spies in the Windhaven Kingdom could have noticed that King Chen had once again established his rule over the region.
Following a thorough investigation, the informants must have uncovered Wang Jian's actions and promptly informed the Emperor.
Since Wang Jian had expected this, he had naturally prepared an excuse.
However, the timing of the summon order seemed rather inconvenient for Wang Jian as had not yet initiated his plan to interact with Bixi Shuyan and Lady Zhuoran.
"I must take them with me," Wang Jian mused, realizing he had no choice in the matter.
However, he also realized that leaving the Silver-Tailed Fox Clan in the Beastclaw Grove without Lady Zhuoran's protection would be a grave mistake. The clan was integral to Wang Jian's faction and its destruction would severely hinder his progress.
With this in mind, Wang Jian determined to bring the clan with him to Aria City.
After reaching this decision, he proceeded to the dungeon to meet with Lady Zhuoran.
As Wang Jian descended into the depths of the dungeon, he beheld the sight of Lady Zhuoran, his captive, chained with special chains designed to restrain King Realm experts.
Despite the restraints, she still emanated a beauty that left him breathless.
Her five silver tails lay still on the cold stone floor, devoid of their former vibrancy.
Her curvaceous body now seemed to be draped in rough clothing that somehow made her even more gorgeous.
Wang Jian's depraved and evil reaction was evident on his face as he reveled in her helpless state.
Lady Zhuoran, on the other hand, had a lifeless and terrified look in her eyes as she gazed at Wang Jian.
Her dark, midnight black hair was now disheveled, and her piercing green eyes seemed to have lost their inner fire.
Even in her weakened state, her curves were still accentuated by the tight-fitting clothing she wore.
Wang Jian approached her with an arrogant stride, taking in every inch of her beauty with twisted delight. She could feel his gaze piercing through her, causing her to shiver in fear.
Lady Zhuoran's voice quivered with fear as she spoke to her captor.
"Pray tell, what is it that you desire? And how long do you intend to keep my daughter and me in this dreadful place?" she asked, her piercing green eyes betraying her anguish.
Her silver tails lay limp on the ground as she awaited Wang Jian's response.
Wang Jian's lips curled into a sinister smile, "You see, your beauty is too exquisite to let go of so easily. And your daughter will serve as a suitable bargaining chip to ensure your obedience."
Lady Zhuoran's heart sank as she realized the true depth of Wang Jian's depravity. "You will not get away with this," she spat out.
"My lover, The Jade-Eyed Tiger, is the King of the Beastclaw Grove. He will not rest until we are free, and you are punished for your insolence."
Wang Jian rolled his eyes as he heard this threat and sneered, "Do you think I have been idling all this time? I have already investigated the details of situation going on within the Beastclaw Grove. This Jade-Eyed Tiger is indeed your lover, but you have always hated it and kept it at a distance as it killed your husband."
"…H-How do you have such detailed information about my clan?!" Lady Zhuoran's eyes widened as she asked this question.
Wang Jian didn't answer her question. Actually, he received this information from one of the beasts that the Lin and the Ji Clans had captured.
"I have a task for you. You have three hours to return to your clan in Beastclaw Grove and bring them all here. We will soon depart for Aria City," Wang Jian spoke.
Noticing the defiant look in her eyes, Wang Jian added with a sinister smile, "…If you don't return, I will have my fun with your daughter, Bixi Shuyan, before turning her life into a living hell."
Lady Zhuoran's heart sank as she realized the true depth of Wang Jian's depravity. "You monster," she spat out, her voice trembling with anger and fear.
Wang Jian just chuckled at her defiance. "Oh, my dear, you have no idea what kind of monster I can be. But I promise you this - if you try to play games with me, your daughter will pay the price."
Lady Zhuoran's eyes filled with tears as she gazed at Wang Jian, the man who held her captive and threatened her family. She knew she had no choice but to comply with his demands.
"I will do as you say," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "But please, spare my daughter. She is innocent in all of this."
Wang Jian smirked at her, his eyes glittering with cruel amusement. "Don't worry, my dear. I will make sure not to do anything to her as long as you return by the appointed time."
With those words, he unlocked the chains that had held her captive, the sound of clanking metal echoing in the dungeon's cold, musty air.
Despite being free from her restraints, Lady Zhuoran remained cautious, her wary gaze fixed on Wang Jian. She dared not even consider retaliating against him, her fear of the repercussions too great to bear.
Without warning, Wang Jian closed the distance between them, his lips meeting hers in a forceful and depraved kiss. He groped at her curves, his hands exploring every inch of her body with a cruel fascination.
Lady Zhuoran was left dumbfounded and terrified, unable to resist as tears streamed down her face.
She knew that any resistance could result in Wang Jian taking action against her daughter, and so she remained still, allowing him to do as he pleased. The taste of his lips made her sick, and she longed for the freedom that seemed so far away.
Finally, Wang Jian pulled away, a wicked smile spreading across his face. "Your time starts now," he said, his voice dripping with malice.
Lady Zhuoran ran out of the dungeon, her heart racing with fear and worry for her daughter and her tribe.
She knew she had to hurry if she wanted to save them all from Wang Jian's grasp. She ran through the dark and narrow passages of the dungeon, not looking back even once.
Wang Jian, on the other hand, approached Bixi Shuyan's cell with a predatory grin on his face. He knew exactly how to manipulate the young girl and make her do his bidding.
As he reached her cell, he could see her huddled up in a corner, her eyes wide with fear. He opened the door and stepped inside, closing the door behind him.
"Well, well, well," he said in a low and menacing voice. "Look who we have here. The daughter of the beautiful Lady Zhuoran. You're just as pretty as your mother, aren't you?"
Bixi Shuyan looked up at him with a mix of fear and disgust. "What do you want from me?" she asked, her voice quivering.
Wang Jian stood before Bixi Shuyan, his eyes flickering with malice as he delivered his ultimatum. "Your mother has promised to return within three hours with her clan. And when she does, I will have my way with her. But if she doesn't show up, then I will take you instead," he sneered.
Bixi Shuyan felt a rush of anger and fear at his words. She knew the vile and wicked intentions of the man in front of her. "Please, I beg of you," she said, her voice trembling. "Don't harm my mother. I will do whatever it takes to satisfy your desires."
Wang Jian raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Oh? And what makes you think you could do that?" he asked, his voice laced with amusement.
Bixi Shuyan's face grew hot with embarrassment as she stammered out her response. "I...I am willing to do anything you want. Anything at all," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Wang Jian considered her words, his face contorted in thought. Lady Zhuoran was more his type, and giving up on her didn't feel right. "I'm not sure," he said, his voice trailing off.
"I have a rare gift," she said, her voice low and urgent. "My body is attuned to the flow of energy in the world, and I can sense the presence of valuable resources that are hidden from ordinary senses. I know of secret caves and hidden treasure troves that would make you richer than you ever dreamed possible."
Wang Jian's eyes widened with interest, but he remained stoic. "What else do you have to offer?" he demanded.
"I can give you control over my entire clan," Bixi Shuyan said, her tone unwavering.
"I am the heiress of my clan, and no one would question my decisions. With my guidance, you can take everything they have and use it to your advantage. Wealth, power, influence - it could all be yours."
Wang Jian's eyes lit up with avarice at the mention of secret caves and hidden treasures. "Interesting," he murmured, his mind racing with the possibilities.
"Tell me more, and if your words are true, I will spare your mother. But in exchange, you will become my personal maid and serve me for as long as I desire."
Bixi Shuyan's heart sank at the thought of living under this man's roof, but she knew she had no other choice.
"Very well," she said, gritting her teeth. "I will tell you everything I know. But remember, you must keep your promise and spare my mother."
Wang Jian's grin widened, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. "I always keep my promises," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "Now, let's begin."

After receiving the valuable information from Bixi Shuyan, Wang Jian wasted no time in dispatching the fastest messenger bird to deliver it to King Chen.
At first, Wang Jian had intended to take advantage of Bixi Shuyan's vulnerable position and force himself upon her. However, upon learning of her unique abilities, he reconsidered his plans.
If the information she provided turned out to be genuine, it could potentially bring a significant advantage to his faction.
He slowly understood that she might have been a vital heroine for Zhang Fei's rise.
Wang Jian swiftly commanded his subordinates to prepare wagons and carriages for a lengthy journey ahead.
After two hours, Lady Zhuoran returned to the Black Castle, accompanied by a stunning array of foxes.
These creatures were breathtakingly beautiful, each adorned with a coat of fur in a unique and vibrant hue. However, they all shared a distinguishing feature: their silver tails.
It was clear to Wang Jian why Lady Zhuoran's clan was renowned as the Silver-Tailed Fox Clan.
As he surveyed the group, he noticed that only three women were in human form, each possessing the same silver tails as their fox counterparts.
However, there was a notable difference between these women and Lady Zhuoran: while she boasted an impressive five tails, the others had only three.
Meanwhile, the remaining foxes belonging to Lady Zhuoran's clan possessed a mere two tails each.
Wang Jian quickly discerned that only foxes with three or more tails were capable of assuming a human form. And apparently, no male with such bloodline was present in this clan right now.
Well, it made sense as Wang Jian recalled that battle in Qianwei Town where multiple human-looking fox clan members were killed. Perhaps all the men with powerful fox bloodlines were slaughtered that day, or maybe they died while resisting the attacks of the other beast clans who took advantage of Lady Zhuoran's absence.
"These are all the members of my clan," As soon as Lady Zhuoran spoke, she immediately fell to her knees in a submissive gesture, causing the members of her Silver-Tailed Fox Clan to stir in shock.
They had never seen their clan mistress bow down to a human before.
The members of the clan exchanged uneasy glances, whispering among themselves in a flurry of foxlike chattering. Some of them even backed away nervously, unsure of what to do next.
Wang Jian could sense their unease, but he remained calm and composed.
"Rise, Lady Zhuoran," He said in a commanding voice. "I am not here to harm you or your clan. I merely seek your cooperation. You see, I am planning to bring you to a region with even richer spiritual energy."
Lady Zhuoran's voice was devoid of any emotion as she responded, "We are grateful for your offer."
Turning his attention to the Silver-Tailed Fox Clan, Wang Jian instructed, "Would you please assist my servants in preparing the wagons and carriages? I require a private audience with your Clan Mistress."
The members of the fox clan looked at Lady Zhuoran, seeking her approval. She nodded, and Wang Jian pointed them towards his courtyard, "Go in that direction. You will come across my maids."
The fox clan members quickly departed, leaving Wang Jian alone with Lady Zhuoran. She looked at him with a questioning gaze and spoke softly, "May I please see my daughter?"
Wang Jian smiled amusedly and replied, "Of course."
In no time, the mother and daughter were reunited, hugging each other tightly. Lady Zhuoran breathed a sigh of relief, grateful to see that her daughter was safe and well, and that Wang Jian had kept his promise.
Bixi Shuyan, too, felt a sense of relief at the reunion of the mother and daughter.
As Wang Jian watched the heartwarming scene, his mind wandered to Xiao Ling and Mei Yan.
They were in a similar situation as both sides were completely oblivious to the other person's deal with him.
Their brief reunion concluded, the mother and daughter turned to Wang Jian and gave him a subtle nod of approval, silently acknowledging that he had upheld his end of the bargain.
Wang Jian spoke, "Can you please go and help your clan members settle their things in the carriages and wagons. We will be departing for Solterra City soon."
The mother-daughter duo walked towards the courtyard to help Wang Jian's maids set up everything required for this long journey.
As the sun began to set, Wang Jian's imposing Black Castle welcomed a new arrival - the caravan of Meng Xiangyi.
With the City Lord informed in advance, preparations had already been made for Meng Xiangyi to accompany Wang Jian on his journey to Aria City.
Though she was hesitant to leave her homeland, the young woman knew that defying Wang Jian's orders would lead to dire consequences for her clan.
Once Meng Xiangyi had settled in, Wang Jian knew it was time to set out on their journey. Before departing, he dispatched his trusted griffin to deliver a message to the Emperor at the Royal Palace of the Everlasting Mystic Empire, asking for forgiveness for his delayed arrival, as he was bringing an entire entourage along with him instead of traveling alone on his griffin.
The first stop of Wang Jian's entourage was the Royal Palace of the Windhaven Kingdom. They had to pick up Chen Yiyan as well. It was a two day journey on the road.
Once they began this journey, they took four breaks each day and set up a camp in the wilderness near the road.
As they set up camp for the night, he motioned for Meng Xiangyi to join him alone in his tent. When she entered, he fixed her with a cold stare.
"Listen to me carefully," he said, his voice low and menacing. "If you reveal anything about Zhang Fei to Chen Yiyan, I will make sure your clan suffers the most excruciating pain imaginable. Do you understand?"
Meng Xiangyi was visibly shaken, and she nodded quickly.
"Good," Wang Jian said, satisfied. "You're a smart girl. I don't want to hurt your clan. But if you betray me, I won't hesitate to make an example out of them."
The next morning, Wang Jian took Xiao Ling aside as they were packing up camp.
"I have a command for you," he said, his eyes narrowed. "Do not say anything about Zhang Fei to Chen Yiyan. If Chen Yiyan finds out anything about Zhang Fei, I'll make sure that Mei Yan suffers a fate worse than death. Do you understand?"
Xiao Ling stared at him, her eyes wide with fear. "Yes," she said softly.
Wang Jian stepped closer, his breath hot against her ear. "And if you do as I say," he whispered, his hand sliding up her arm, "I'll make sure that you're rewarded."
Xiao Ling shuddered at his touch but didn't resist as he pulled her into a passionate kiss, his hands roaming over her body.
She hated every moment of it but knew that she had no choice but to endure his advances.
When the kiss finally ended, Wang Jian looked down at her with a wicked smile.
"Good," he said.
Later that day, Wang Jian sought out Lady Zhuoran in her tent. As she welcomed him in, he immediately grabbed her waist and pulled her onto his lap.
"Listen carefully," he said, his voice cold as ice. "If you tell Chen Yiyan anything about Zhang Fei, I'll make sure that your daughter, Bixi Shuyan, suffers for it. Do you understand me?"
Lady Zhuoran's eyes widened with fury, but she knew she had no choice but to endure his advances.
Wang Jian kissed her neck while fondling her, causing her to shiver in disgust.
"I understand. So, please, let me go," she whispered, but Wang Jian only tightened his grip.
"Not yet," he said, his lips brushing against her ear.
The two shared some rather intimate moments before Wang Jian finally let her go. He left her tent.
Wang Jian's steps echoed in the silence of the night as he made his way towards Bixi Shuyan's tent. His eyes glinted with a dangerous light, and his lips twisted into a wicked smile.
Bixi Shuyan was sitting outside her tent, lost in thought. When she saw Wang Jian approaching, her heart skipped a beat.
She stood up, her hands shaking, and looked at him with a mixture of fear and defiance.
Wang Jian's eyes gleamed with a wicked lust as he walked towards Bixi Shuyan, who sat alone outside her tent. He had been searching for her, knowing that she possessed information that could threaten his power. He approached her with a sly grin, his fingers itching to touch her.
"I have a message for you," he growled, his voice low and dangerous. "If you breathe a word about Zhang Fei to Chen Yiyan, I'll make sure your mother suffers the consequences. Do you understand?"
Bixi Shuyan trembled with fear, her heart beating frantically in her chest.
Wang Jian reached out and caressed Bixi Shuyan's slender form, running his fingers down her soft skin.
As he touched her, he focused his attention on her four silver tails, which swished and twitched under his fingers. Bixi Shuyan couldn't help but purr in pleasure at his touch, though she despised herself for it.
"Yes, I understand," she murmured pitifully, her eyes downcast.
Wang Jian's fingers continued to fondle her tails, eliciting a soft purr from Bixi Shuyan.
"Actually," he said, his voice dripping with amusement, "I'd love for you to make a mistake so I can have some fun with your mother. But since I have this deal with you, I won't lay my hands on her. But don't forget, this is only if you keep on obeying my orders."
