From Lildeevil:

Since I haven't seen the movie I've only got one thing to say:

I've got a bad feeling about this.

Bakuganman: Believe it or not, the full movie is available on YouTube by various people who uploaded it back in the day. Has remained completely untouched by the "Perfect" AI copyright system. Finding it in subbed on said platform however is the harder part (not impossible), but there are websites that have the movie in full and subbed. (If anyone knows me on Discord, I can link you it there) Though hopefully you'll enjoy this adaption of it.

Addiotnally, maybe read mine first as let the mystery unfold with Michael's spin on it before checking the OG version.

From Twilightiger1602:

"It was the start of his Summer Vacation! What could possibly go wrong!"

Alright, jokes aside, while it is very nice to get these as an early Christmas present, due to this only being the first two chapters, and the fact that it's been a while since I've seen Mayuri Judgement, I'm gonna hold off on the overall story until it's all out. In the mean time I'm gonna go over a few details that did catch my attention.

#1: Flashbacks

While they are definitely very short and lacking in context, these did raise a few hairs on my neck from atmosphere alone. Between encountering hundreds of thousands of those same pods from DEM Japan, to their encounter with Light-Wing (with the narration outright saying that thing is almost as tough as Tenka!), to the mystery Spirit that may or may not be a previous vessel to a Sephira Crystal, these parts are nothing short of tense. Only god knows what this'll be like when we actually see what happens in full.

#2: Michaels internal conflict

This one is definitely something I didn't even think about until now, but it actually makes a lot of sense in hindsight. Unlike with Shido, the reason Michael came to Japan in the first place was to figure out what happened to his parents and find out the reason why he was abandoned, with him being employed (I.E. shanghai'd) by Ratatoskr being a sort of side objective. Now that he knows that his father is a complete Mad-man, let alone if he finds out whether or not his mum is even alive, there seems to be no other reason for him to stay... which is what he would've thought if he didn't have to leave so much behind. Between getting along with his Step-sister/roommate, reconnecting with his cousin, and his steadily growing bonds with several of the spirits, one of them being his long-time idol, he's finding it more and more difficult to just up and leave, which paired with the conflict surrounding Mayuri, presents an interesting dilemma for Mikey to overcome, which nicely brings us to the 3 important questions to this movie/arc:

Professional Question: Can Michael and Ratatoskr figure out the mystery surrounding Kerubiel?

Personal Question: Can Michael save Mayuri?

Private Question: Will Michael either stay or leave Japan?

Now, for those of us who've been here since this concepts, well... conception, the answers are obvious, but for any newcomers, it could prove to be very gripping to see in real time.

#3 Mana

Now, I will admit this is relatively minor and far-fetched, and again it's been a while since I've seen the movie, but while that brief moment with Mana acting like a goof and Mikey snarking back did get a chuckle out of me, I wasn't really sure if that was in the movie or you threw that bit in to give her a bit more character. My money is on the latter, given that with how little time she gets in the limelight in the main series, her personality wasn't all that fleshed out. Knowing you, no doubt that part will be spruced up a bit as you go, especially if you do decide on the Kissing-Cousins route for her and Michael... which might actually seem likely given his comments on her hips during Nia's chapter lol.

Bakuganman: Like I told Lildeevil above you, believe it or not, the full movie is available on YouTube by various people who uploaded it back in the day. Has remained completely untouched by the "Perfect" AI copyright system. Finding in subbed however is the harder part, but there are websites that have the movie in full and subbed. (If anyone knows me on Discord, I can link you it there)

Knowing you, i'm sure you'll have TONS to say when we get to the actual movie as more are released weekly after new years, but lets go over what you did mention:

A) Flashbacks/Dreams - Yeah, I have big plans for the American branch of DEM. Think of it as a side Arc in-between seasons two and three. Westcotts been up to no good in this section of the multiverse. Light Wing and that Rouge Spirit are only a small taste of wants been cooking.

B) Michael's conflict - Not much I can say except your right in the money. Poor guy's been through challenge after challenge, and sure making friends along the way, but part of him still misses where he came from now that his original goal has been fulfilled. Will Mayuri change that? You shall see.

C) Mana/Cousin Romance - Add on to be honest, but she is planned to have a bigger role… Mikey's going to hell

Mayuri Judgement - Part 3, Watashitachi no Deto Hajinmemashou?:

"Your taking the Spirits on Dates then?" Origami asked over the phone. Michael had called her, as he promised he would do so once a day, or once every other day at the very least until she fully recovered from the fight with Ellen. What he was doing with the other girls just came up in conversation (minus the context of why however).

"Yeah, just to relieve some stress… been a crazy school year, ya know?" Michael said half-truly, school just being a convenient excuse.

"I suppose that's true." Origami said. "How are you feeling after the fight? You were out for some time."

It was then Michael had a mental still-image of him and Inverse Tohka clashing swords in midair, their hairstyles also flapping away in that very same image due to the power they were generating… then of course the more recent Boss battles with Light Wing and Phantom, neither of which Origami was present for.

"I'm… okay." He hesitated his answer, to which Origami took note of. "Just glad I can be a normal kid again for 40 days." Origami did believe him when he said that, its just something in the back of her mind told her there was more to it… Ex instincts maybe. "I'm gonna hit the shower real quick and call it a day, got a Summer to live up in. I'll call you tomorrow, k Ori?"

"Okay…" Origami said. With that, they said their goodbyes and good nights before hanging up the phone after a decent length of conversation. Unlike Michael who casually just tossed his phone back on his bed and left to bathe, Origami slowly lowered her cellular device away from her ear.

She was happy for him, she truly was. He finally can have a couple of days to unwind after getting involved in Tenju's biggest secret. And was even happy for the Spirits to a degree, with them seemingly happy and also getting time to relax…

So then… why was the side of her chest feeling so achy?

"REALLY?! I can go on a date with Michael again?!" Tohka said in an excited voice after Reine and Kotori invited the other Spirits into Kotori's and Michael apartment to explain the game plan later that night.

Despite being sent an invite, Kurumi did not show up.

"Can we go right now?l" Tohka asked ecstatically. Michael could not help but feel a bit warm inside from that. Tohka was always ready for a date, even in the pitch black of night. The Princess could be real cute sometimes.

"Hold up, Tohka." Said Kotori. "Even if you could, everything is closed, so where would you go?"

"Well… I don't care where we go." Tohka said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "As long as I'm with Michael, I'm happy anywhere."

Mike felt an invisible cupid arrow go into his back, which we get to see visually. 'I'm getting too soft around these girls…' he thought… that was a sweet thing for her to say though, it got him pretty good because of the innocent way she said it.

"I concur!" Miku said. "Wherever Darling takes me, it'll be fun. Just the thought of it makes me warm and fuzzy inside!"

Another invisible cupid arrow hit Mike's back, same location but at a slightly higher angle. He really was going soft.

"We still have to pick the order, to make it fair." Reine said

"Question. Do me and Kaguya count as one?" Asked Yuzuru. "And if so, will we be going together?" The only reason she asked this was when they first met Michael, the 'dates' they had with him was mainly for a contest and the three of them were together each time.

Michael had a fantasy about that. He was walking in the middle of the twins, with each one clung to an arm. As they walked, people would comment how scandalous this looked and if he was leading both of them on, with his expression souring each time a comment was lodged at them until he looked as miserable as Squidward.

"… Maybe wave off the Twin-some. Change the pace." Michael said a few seconds after the fantasy popped. The sisters did not debate on this further. 'And safer on my mental stability…' he added.

"Well, then is Michael picking who he's going with first?" Kaguya asked.

Michael opened his mouth to respond, but Kotori interjected. "Absolutely not!" She said. "The last thing we need is right now is this being infected with his bias."

Michael immediately felt insulted. "What, where, when, why, and HOW would I be bias?!" Kotori only continued to stare at him, but no words were spoken between the two. "… whatever…" He gave up, not having the energy to argue. "So how's this gonna work? Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock Royale?" He asked.

XXX

What they ended up doing was playing a game known as a Ladder Lottery. The girls each wrote down their names on the top of a piece of paper with random lines traced down to a number (1 thru 6) on the bottom of the page. Each girl took a turn to decide the order in which the dates will go, and what corresponding number they end up tracing down towards will be their position in the order. That same number would them be crossed out so another girl would not accidentally trace to it.

They all also kept singing the Ladder Lottery song that apparently was tradition to sing along with playing this game… Michael just prayed it would end soon. It was cute the first 2 times, but to him it started getting repetitive… not even Miku's voice was enough to sway his opinion.

During Kaguya's turn, who was the first to draw, she was lucky enough to get number one. All she did was smile brightly, clearly feeling to be a victor of some kind.

Kotori was next. She ended up tracing to five. "Hmm. Fifth." She said, not making a big deal of her result.

Miku went third. She traced to two. "Look at that! I'm going second!" She said, happy with the result. She probably would've preferred spot number one, but this was close enough.

Yuzuru went fourth. Ironically like her sister, that was also the position she ended up receiving. "Result. Fourth."

It was down to Yoshino and Tohka, the youngest of the two tracing first. This proved to be lucky for her as she took the third spot. "I'm number 3."

As there were no more numbers to trace to aside from the last one being 6, that meant Tohka could not take her turn. Of course as a result, that also meant she was going last by default. "Uh… I'm last…" she said, a little disappointed, though her position was VERY ironic to Michael. She was the first Spirit he met, befriended, and took out for a date.

Either this was some kind of twist of fate, or a God out there had a sick sense of humor.

"Well, I guess its kinda fair. You were the first originally." Mike brought up, which got Tohka's attention. "Save the best for last, as they say." He added to cheer her up. This proved affective as Tohka had an open-mouth smile, now looking at this as a different way.

"Then its settled." Reine said. "Plan out your dates as you wait for your turn. You can all do whatever you want, make them the best dates of your life."

Kaguya chuckled then for some reason. "Well, with me going first; the rest of you are out of luck." She said. "After Michael experiences the Ultimate, Paramount, Perfect Date; he'll never be satisfied with anyone but I!" She had a picture in her head of this date in question, and when this imaginary Michael went with the others, he would be appear uninterested and think about the imaginary Kaguya.

"Agreement. Kaguya should go first." Yuzuru said, with Kaguya smiling with closed eyes and a nod of her head.

Yuzuru: Because when she ultimately fails…

"DAAAAAAH?!" You know that spark in the background in anime behind a person to express shock? That was Kaguya.

"It will be such a paramount failure, that it'll serve as a perfect example for us of what not to do." Yuzuru continued, a variation of Kaguya's hypothetical date playing out. In Yuzuru's argument, Kaguya and Michael were at a theme park, but every little thing went wrong. Kaguya getting sick on the smallest ride and tripping over herself, in one instance dropping ice cream and she cried like a baby.

Yuzuru basically mocked every term Kaguya had used.

"HEY! I will not fail!" Kaguya countered expressively.

"Rebuttal. You will." Yuzuru countered back calmly.

"I won't! In fact, I'll ace it!"

"Suspicion. I doubt it."

"Will not!"

"Counter. Will too."

The Tornado Twins kept going back-and-forth. Miku was actually sitting next to the twins and saw them argue in front of her, Tohka watched them argue from her position, and Michael just pinched the bridge of his nose… there they go again.

"Yoshino! Your going on an actual with Michael for real this time!" Said Yoshinon to his puppeteer. "Will you be able to handle it?"

Yoshino blushed cutely. "I… I'll try."

"Before we do this, we need to lay down some ground rules." Kotori said while walking forward. "No one is allowed to interfere or influence another ones dates…" She began, then snapped her head in Miku's direction. "Miku!"

Miku lowly gasped at this, but Kotori continued after looking away and began walking again. "Furthermore, the order decided now is absolute, and there is no changing or substituting. And finally, while you're allowed to do what you want, keep your actions reasonable and grounded in reality." Kotori said, then turned to the other Spirits before finishing with: "Got it?"

"Okay!/Yeah!/You got it!" Said the other Spirits.

"… MIKU! WHAT DID I SAY!" Kotori called out Miku specifically to repeat it.

"The order is absolute." Was Miku's answer.

"What else?" Asked Kotori, wanting the Diva to repeat more or perhaps that was not the answer she was hoping for.

"We're allowed to do what we want." Was Miku's second answer.

"What… else?" Kotori slowly said with clenched teeth, making sure Miku understood what really mattered to her.

At that point, Miku looked down with a sad cutesy frown. "… be reasonable…" You can tell that's not what she wanted to do…

"Thank you." Kotori said. "Now some closing thoughts from…" she was going to hand Michael the floor, but noticed he still looked aggravated or annoyed for some reason, his fingers still pinching his nose. "… I'm sorry, are we annoying you?" She asked, accusingly.

"No, none of you guys specifically," said Michael, then let his nose go. "Its just one of you seem to find it amusing to eavesdrop." All the girls, even Reine, blinked, not understanding why he said that. He then shut his eyes before adding on: "… isn't that right… Kurumi?"

Before they could ask why bring her name up, only 2 seconds had passed before his shadow began making a weird sound and arose from behind him… scratch that, a shadow from his shadow. Jazz music also began playing, along with a very familiar giggle a few seconds later.

"Your good." Kurumi commented after arising from the floor directly behind Michael, though was in a Limited Astral Dress like the others girls would be in.

Unlike the others', her new partial dress was not fused with her normal clothing but on its own like usual. The dressy frills were still very much visible, however there were no long sleeves along her arms but the frilly ends were still on her wrists. She also still had the boots and net bow, and even her clock-eye was restored, but the large bow on her stomach area was missing.

Other than that, Kurumi's dress looked pretty much the same as the full one.

The other Spirits were honestly surprised Michael was able to somehow sense she was there yet they felt nothing of or from the Nightmare. How long was she in his shadow anyway? Just now? A few minutes ago? Or the whole time?

"I mean, it's so crazy," Kurumi said, playfully grabbing both Michael's shoulders with one hand each. "It's almost like you know…" she leaned closer to the back of his head and spoke in a softer tone, playfully and not seductively.

"Well, shadows don't wander too far from their tether…" Michael said without turning around to look at her. Her response was a soft chuckle.

"No, I suppose they don't." Kurumi said, letting him go.

"Would it be too much trouble as to where you've been the past few days? Or am I getting the Spider-Man excuse?" Michael asked, now turning to face his Nightmare of a girlfriend.

"No, no excuse this time. Just out and about… don't want to lose this hourglass figure." Kurumi teased then gave a single, slow twirl. However, this twirl still had enough speed to slightly raise her skirt just enough so her lingerie could be seen before it settled back down. This was probably unintentional as she was acting cute and that only happened due to the law of motion… then again, it may have been calculated for that very reason…

"Speaking of out and about, what about me? Don't I get a turn?" Kurumi's question implied just how long she was here, though again she may have also just showed up and happened to hear that.

"We already picked out the order, so your out of Time." Michael punned.

Kurumi playfully pouted, also putting on the best pouty-face she could that was also obviously part of the act. "Well that's not fair. Aren't I part of the harem too?"

"For the Zayin-th time between you and Xylophone, this is not a harem!" Michael denied once again, Miku whining in the background. "And maybe if you participated in our reindeer games instead of going off for your own, we won't have this problem."

"Aw. Well, guess that means I'm last." Kurumi said, but the smile never left her face. In fact, Michael could tell the gears in her head (no pun intended) were turning as she immediately thought of a way to turn the situation around, her expression sly. "After all… save the best for last."

While Tohka wasn't thrilled initially to be last, she was satisfied with it after Michael brought that point up when it came to her position as being best. But now thanks to Kurumi's late addition and her volunteering to go last…

"That's not how it works, Kurumi Tokisaki!" Tohka detested. "I was last first!"

"Oh no, Tohka. I wouldn't dream of stealing your thunder." Kurumi said to her. "Perhaps I should go first and set an example?"

Her last comment ended up causing a chain reaction, which each girl getting defensive of their spot in the pecking order from feelings towards Michael and from Nightmare from her past actions. If they were being honest, they still didn't completely trust her, and thought this was probably the most convenient excuse she would receive to try and consume him.

"Fat chance!" Kaguya immediately said, waving an arm outward. "Michael's First Ultimate Paramount Date will be with me!" She placed her opposite hand dramatically on her chest upon saying 'me' as if she was an anime heroine talking to her rival before a big fight.

"And your not taking my spot with Darling either!" Miku said the moment Kaguya ended her point.

"Defensive." Yuzuru frowned, getting defensive like she said. "Yuruzu's turn with Michael is nonnegotiable. Returns or refunds are also non-acceptable."

"I…" Yoshino said, attempting to be brave, but recoiled. "I'm not giving up my turn either."

"Calm down, she not taking anyone's turn!" Kotori said, trying to keep the peace and order… both the Dating order, and the peace-type of order. She and Reine tried to calm the rest of them down, though the amount of talking going on at one time was akin to that of a school lunchroom but on a smaller scale.

Michael just shot an unamused glance at the starter of it by the corner of his eye, his expression asking Kurumi: "Do you really have to antagonize them?" Kurumi only smiled with closed eyes in response. A second after that, a shadow pool behind her formed, and another Kurumi emerged from it, this one in a full Astral Dress however…

So which was the clone?

"Me." Said the newest Kurumi. This same Kurumi leaned behind the Limited Dress Kurumi, whispering something into her ear while cupping the side of her own cheek, which got Limited Dress Kurumi's eyes to widen slightly.

"… on second thought, we'll have to take a raincheck." The Limited Kurumi announced, which also got the other Spirits to stop talking about her last minute addition seeing as she now was canceling. "Something very important just came up and I might not have enough time to enjoy it, so I'll sit this one out." Before anyone could respond to this, Kurumi walked over and gently place a hand on one of Michael's cheeks and looking directly into his eyes.

"I'll see you later, Macho Michael…" she said, and by that point, she slowly sunk back into a shadow pool below her along with the bonus Kurumi copying this. "Don't have too much fun without me… take care…" With that, she finally vanished, gone nearly as quickly as she arrived. The jazz also ending.

Michael's closing remark with a shrug was: "… least we can tell her apart."

After spending a little more time together, everyone had retired for the night and left Michael's apartment except for Kotori (for obvious reasons) and Reine, who stayed behind for a coffee at the table…

'That woman needs some help.' Michael thought. He then grabbed a seat across from her, which got the older woman's attention. "Are you absolutely sure this is going to work?" He asked her.

Reine had just finished taking a sip and put her mug down. "While I see no reason why it shouldn't, we won't know anything for sure until you start dating at least one of them." She explained. "After your date with Kaguya, we'll scan the sphere again for any changes, then proceed to the next steps." She noted how Michael looked… he looked guilty for some reason. "… is that whats bothering you?"

Always on point, Michael couldn't deny that. "Its not only just that invisible color-changing ball." He admitted, and around this time Kotori took a seat with them. "Its everyone else. I'm wondering how I'm gonna explain this to them lightly."

Reine and Kotori glanced at each other. They had a feeling Michael would feel this way, seeing as the same thing happened with Kurumi and Miku, him being honest about their Spirit status and what he had to do with them from the get-go… it's something they had discussed with each other before, and knew Mike wasn't gonna like it.

"Michael… remember when you told Tohka the truth about Kurumi?" Kotori asked.

Michael responded with an eyebrow raise. "Yeeeeeah, why?" He asked, wondering why his roommate would bring this up.

Kotori prepared herself for her stepbrother's reaction, knowing exactly how he was going to react. "Well, me and Reine were talking about it and…" she hesitated for a moment, then continued. "We agreed you should keep the ball between us."

As she predicted, Michael's expression soured. "Excuse me?"

"Michael… what happened with Kurumi…" Kotori tried to say.

"First of all, I'm gonna stop you right there." Michael cut her off. "Kurumi would have eaten me back then, regardless if Tohka knew or not. I was not going to lie to her just so I can have a foursome that day." Michael reminded her. "Second of all, you even said that made the mission easier, with Tohka keeping Origami busy and everything! Hell! They double-teamed her twice before YOOOU decided to reveal your fiery hot secret!" He added, obviously mentioning her status as a Spirit.

"Look, I know how you feel!" Kotori said. "And believe me, this was a tough decision for me to make too, but we'd feel its best that this stays under warps for now!"

"Well what makes this time any different?!" Michael demanded, the volume of his voice increasing. "We're their friends, Darling Little Sister of Mine. If they know what's going on, they can probably help us more effectively!"

Reine jumped in at this point. "While I don't deny they would want to help us get to the bottom of things," she spoke in her soft voice, but it held a stern tone. "Last time, there was no ball of their subconscious emotions hanging in the air."

That's when Michael stopped and took a step back, having forgot about that for a moment.

"Michael… if my theory is correct, and the ball in the sky was in fact made by their stress, do you really feel that's best for them, or even fair to them?" She asked him. "Think about it… they like you, Michael. The Spirits like you allot… so how do you think they'll feel knowing it was them that indirectly created this problem that only you can see?"

Reine could tell the wheels in the young mans head or starting to turn from her words, thinking very hard upon what she had just said.

"I've taken into account of your feelings on the matter… and yes, Kurumi would have eaten you anyway back then even if Tohka was never made aware of any of it…" she agreed with him on one point showing she was not biased. "But knowing how much they love you and obviously want to protect you with everything in their power, if you tell them there's a mass of energy matching their signatures, then it'll only make things worse."

Despite one half of Michael wanting to defend what he thought about telling them the truth was right… he couldn't deny Reine's logic either. Seeing it from that perspective, it only made sense. He was able to seal the girls not just because they trusted him, but because they didn't want to cause any more harm to anyone else. Hearing their emotions subconsciously caused another problem would most likely destroy them, feeling they let him down or betrayed him to some extent.

"… I… I guess your right…" was all Michael was able to say, unable to argue the point with the facts presented to him.

"When things calm down and go back to normal, maybe you can tell them but for now, just keep it to yourself until we have more to go on." Reine said.

Mike remained silent, but he did give a nod.

Later that night…

Michael was back in his room getting set for bed. His summer break for the next couple of days consisted of dating various women, so he needed his rest. The others closing statements were pretty cute, he had to admit. He flashed back to what they said:

Miku: I'm so excited, Darling! We'll have so much fun!

Yuzuru: Promise. We shall have a wonderful day.

Kaguya: (confident laugh) With me by your side, we'll have a blast!

Yoshino: (cute blush) I'll… I'll try my best…

Tohka: You can count on me! (Positive fist clench) It'll be the best last date of your life!

And course, Kotori's being: "… Just don't screw anything up." Before heading to bed herself.

It might not have been ideal, but considering the circumstances, this should end up being fun at least. Part of him wanted to tell the other Spirits the full truth, but after further discussion with Kotori and Reine, they both advised him not to. They made a good about it too: stress.

If the sphere was in fact made by stress, and if the other Spirits knew that this was also job-related, they might get even more stressed out than they probably already were. There's no telling what'll happen to the sphere if that was the case, let alone how the girls will react to such news.

As much as Michael wanted to tell them and felt guilty for not saying a word, he couldn't find it in him to put his 'harem' in that situation either. So for now, he had to swallow it and maybe explain it some other time when they have more information and things calm down.

He went to shut his curtains when…

?

It was her again… that girl from the train station earlier…

Now, he didn't get a good at her before, but now that she was just standing there, he had to say she was pretty. Long blond hair, deep pink eyes, a ponytail and a white sailor uniform… she had a sense of style like Miku, and was more on the lean side like Kaguya. But she was literally staring at him from afar with no emotion. Very Origami and Yuzuru-like.

Who was she… why was she just standing there?

*vrrrrrooooooooooooom*

A large delivery truck went by, obscuring the view of the mysterious girl. When the truck passed, she was gone along with it. What, did she just hitch a ride on it? From the angle of his room, he could not tell. Whoever she was, she was long gone… Was he seeing things? Or was being around females nearly every minute with very little male interaction starting to get to him (excluding all of the life-or-death situations in-between)?

Mentally shrugging it off, he closed the curtains. He's got more important things to worry about…

XXX

On the roof deeper in the city, Kurumi in a Limited Dress arose from a dark pool, with many more fully Astral Dressed ones appearing at the same time. Apparently like Michael implied, the true Kurumi was the one who was half-Astral Dressed, while her clones were unaffected by this. Side effect of being sealed most likely.

"All of You have something to report?" The Real Kurumi asked her clones that have gathered. "Did you find Sister yet?"

"Unfortunately no." Said one Clone.

"I even checked back at Ground Zero." Said another clone, referring to what the news called the destroyed DEM building.

"But alas, not a single thing was left." Said a third.

"Seems Macho Mikey's battle with Tohka's Inversion pretty much wiped the area clean of any evidence." Said a fourth.

Real Kurumi look slightly annoyed. "You Mes' know how I feel about Time being wasted." Kurumi said. "If there's nothing to report, then what's the problem?"

"The problem," another Kurumi spoke up, then pointed above them at a 75 degree angle. "Is what has appeared over Our new home of residence." The Real Kurumi looked over… and her mouth dropped open.

A sphere… a very large one at that… floating almost perfectly above Michael's home and the Spirit apartment, and by extension her own. From where they were right now, it for any Kurumi to tell which house it was over exactly, or if it was over both at the same time.

"What… is that?" Asked Real Kurumi in shock, walking over to the edge of the roof for a better view. "Where did it come from?" She had to ask, as now a giant object has just appeared out of nowhere… Dear lord, if this was another Utopia situation…

"Don't know." Said the same Clone who originally pointed the ball out as a matter-of-factly. "It appeared just this morning. Was patrolling the area and I happened to spot it." She said, then giggled a Kurumi giggle. "You should've seen the look on Mikey's face. It was priceless!" She said, then mimicked his tone the best she could by adding in: "Of all that is good and holy, can you please tell me your seeing this!" She giggled again after finishing. "*sighs* He's so adorable."

Real Kurumi only continued to stare at the orb in the sky… OP robots that ran entirely on Spirit Power, hostile organisms hidden in DEM, now this?… Never a dull moment with Michael around, was there?

She happened to glance down and noticed something odd. There was a pretty blond-haired girl walking down the street, coming from the direction of Michael's house, but nobody seemed to notice her presence or even acknowledge it. In fact, someone almost walked into her that the mysterious girl had to sidestep to avoid being hit. Nevertheless, the girl just continued walking on, with no emotion on her face as if nothing had just happened.

Curious, Kurumi stretched out her shadow, giving her Clones the unspoken command to return to it, which they acknowledged and jumped back in. The camera clips to a sideview of the blond girl continuing on her way down the path, and Kurumi is shown in a darkened corner, sliding down between 2 buildings on one side of one of those buildings, where she watched this new girl with half her body covered by shadow and the other half out in the open with her arms folded.

Kurumi: … well… this summer is turning out to be an interesting one…

TO BE CONTINUED…
