"We are now landing. Please buckle up as the plane starts to land."
As the plane started to land in Japan, three boys started to think about their trip. One boy who was surprisingly short for his age looked outside his window.
"Man, so this is our big adventure. Maybe this place couldn't be any worse than Peach Creek."
The boy failed to notice that one of his friends decided to sneak up on him. As the boy looked he saw something in the corner of his eyes and failed to notice until it was already too late.
"EDDY!" The boy's friend yelled as he wrapped his arms around him.
"GET OFF OF ME, LUMPY!" Eddy yelled as he tried to squirm his way out of his troubles.
"Ed please get off of Eddy. And Eddy can you just try your best to not cause a scene." The last member of the trio said with a sigh.
"Okay, Double-D!" Ed said happily as he let go of Eddy, who just grumbled.
"Whatever Sockhead"
Ed was wearing a green jacket with a red and white striped undershirt. He also wore baggy navy blue jeans with black and white tennis shoes. He was very tall for his age as he towered over his friends. His wild spikey orange hair helped him stand out as his emerald green eyes sparkled with excitement.
Eddward, or Double-D as everyone normally called him, was the brains of the trio. He wore a red-orange long-sleeved shirt, black jeans, and light blue shoes. His golden blonde hair is hidden under a black ski cap. His curious sky-blue eyes looked like he was thinking over something in his head.
Last but certainly not least was Eddy, the de facto leader of the trio. He wore a yellow polo shirt with a purple collar and faded blue jeans with red and white sneakers. His dark blue hair was normal except for the front, which had three spikey strands poking up. His chocolate brown eyes looked bored as he started to drift away.
The plane finally came to a stop and almost every except The Eds had taken off their seat belts and stood up.
"Welcome to Tokonosu City ladies and gentlemen. Please leave in an orderly manner. Make sure you have all of your belongings as the plane has another trip to go. Please enjoy your stay."
"Well, boys let's see what we've gotten ourselves into," Eddy said with a mischievous grin.
"Oh boy oh boy, I can't wait Eddy!" Ed cheered happily.
Double-D smiled and shook his head. "Only the audience knows what going to happen in this story, fellows."
The trio then took their belongings and walked out of the plane. It was 5:30 PM meaning the sun was setting. The sunset was beautiful as the Eds enjoyed the scenery while going through the airport.
"So Sockhead, you said your Pen-Pal was gonna meet us here. Where is he?" Eddy asked.
"My Pen-Pal is here too, Eddy!" Ed pointed out.
"Hey! Edd! Is that you? Over here!"
Double-D smiled as he recognized the voice and turned to see a young man with grey hair that was a little bit spikey in the front waving The Eds over.
"Hisashi! So glad that you're here!" Double-D said as he made his way over to his pen pal.
"I take it these are the friends you've told me so much about?" Hisashi asked as he looked at Eddy and Ed, the former giving a casual wave while the latter happily beamed while waving more excitedly.
"Yes indeed. They're quite the handful, as I've said before."
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean, Sockhead?!" Eddy barked.
"See what I mean?"
Hisashi led The Eds to the metro station. Luckily, The Eds would be staying with him at his house, which was big enough to accommodate all of them. Hisashi and Double-D were talking while Eddy and Ed were busy sightseeing.
"Your friends certainly are enjoying themselves already." Hisashi chuckled.
"Well, Peach Creek isn't exactly what you'd call a metropolis," Double-D said. "This is all new to them and to be honest, even I can't help but be a bit overwhelmed."
As Hisashi and Double-D continued talking, they noticed two people of interest; the first was a girl with light brown hair with went all the way down her back with two strands of it standing in front of her like an antenna found in a cricket. She had fiery amber eyes, and E-cup breasts, and stood around 5'4 in height. She was also carrying a bag with a staff inside. Her choice of attire was a green and white sailor school uniform with black knee-length socks and white tennis shoes.
The other was a young man with messy curly black hair, perpetually tired-looking hazelnut eyes, glasses, and a tall, slender build. He was wearing the same school uniform that Hisashi was wearing.
"Hey Lumpy, check out that hottie," Eddy said gesturing to the girl. "That guy she's with is real lucky to have her, huh?"
The girl and boy then noticed The Eds and Hisashi and made their way over. As they got closer, Ed's eyes lit up in recognition when he saw the boy's face.
"PEN-PAL!"
The boy was surprised at first before smiling as he hugged Ed when he pounced on him. The girl and Hisashi looked surprised before the latter turned to Double-D.
"I guess Ben is your friend's pen pal."
"Well, Ed was just as excited as me to come here, after all," Double-D admitted.
"Hey, Big Ed! So glad we're meeting face-to-face!" The boy known as Ben laughed, surprisingly handling Ed and his brute strength with ease. "Glad to see me and Hisashi got a twofer on the pen pal visit deal!"
"Wait, Ben? Isn't that an American name?" Eddy asked as the girl spoke up.
"He was born in America and got most of his genes from his dad." The girl explained. "Oh, I'm Rei Miyamoto, by the way."
"My dad's a military man and my mom's a scientist," Ben said. "You'd never guess from just looking at me."
"Gotta say, you know how to make friends, Hisashi," Eddy said as he looked over at Rei. "In more ways than one, I'll say."
"Stop looking at me, you little creep," Rei said with a glare as Eddy held his hands up defensively while still keeping a smirk.
"Hey, chill! I ain't doing anything wrong! Of course, if you want, maybe we could-"
Rei didn't give Eddy another chance to speak as she kneed him square in the crown jewels, making his eyes cartoonishly bug out before he fell over like a brick wall being tipped over. Double-D sighed while Ed just laughed at his friend's misfortune.
Hisashi took it upon himself to smooth things over. "Rei, you remember Ben and I telling you about our pen pals and their friend coming over for the Education Around the World Program?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, these are them. My pen pal here is Eddward Marion Skyrise, Ben's pen pal is Edwin Horace Alba, and the little guy you just hit in the nuts is Eddy Skipper McGee."
"Oh, okay," Rei said, bowing to Ed and Double-D. "Sorry about your friend. I just don't tolerate perverts."
"Hey, I enjoy girls just as much as any hormonal teenage boy and you never gave ME crap." Ben pointed out.
"Well, you're different. You're actually a pretty sweet and sensible guy underneath all your eccentricities."
Ben blushed and rubbed the back of his head. "Stop, you're embarrassing me..."
"Come on, we shouldn't miss our train!" Hisashi suddenly pointed out as everyone quickly hurried, making it just in time.
"Geez Double-D, you gotta work on your timeframes!" Eddy panted, having run like crazy while still nursing his injured privates.
"Double-D? Seriously?" Rei asked with a blush. "Why would you give him such a dirty nickname?"
"Oh, I get it! It's because Double-D is also a bra size!" Ed realized absentmindedly as Double-D groaned in embarrassment and both Hisashi and Ben couldn't help but laugh.
"Man, Takashi is gonna get a kick out of these guys, huh?"
"From what I can tell with Eddy, he'll hit it off great with Saya."
This story is a remake of one made by Zombie fan34, which has;t been updated since 2015. I'll also be taking from a couple other HOTD stories as well, those being Way of the Warrior by krazywolve and Naruto: High Crysis of the DEAD by The First Kitsukage.
There will be elements of Call of Duty: Black Ops, Dead Rising, Crysis, Left 4 Dead, and Resident Evil thrown in to give the story lots of crazy flavors. Characters from those series will also be making appearances, so look forward to those.
