From guest:

I can't believe people called this "lazy". This fic is amazing! One of the best insert fics I've ever read!

Bakuganman: Idk why either. And thanks for the complement. This is however, not an insert fic, rather an AU. And it's far from over.

From Twilightiger1602:

... Well, looks like Michael isn't the only one who needs some 'splaining to do.

As one would expect, the climax with Kerubiels rampage and Michael and the girls struggle to stop it is nothing short of chaotic. All the while the existence of both the Spirits and Ratatoskr are revealed for the whole world to see. Hiroto and the trio are definitely going to be asking questions when they see Mikey again, especially after they saw Tohka in her Full Form.

As for the why and how this happened despite Mayuri giving the latter a passing grade, both Reine and Michael's points are valid. While I can only guess how many times Mayuri has done this, but watching Michael go out of his way to show each of the spirits a good time, all the while showing the mutual trust and love between him and the girls (Yoshino notwithstanding) both during the dates and the battle at hand, it's only natural Mayuri herself would want more than just to fade from existence, thus the jealousy. She doesn't want to disappear; She wants to live and be happy, just like all the others... Which makes what inevitably happens all the more bittersweet. Even after all that struggle, even with the power-boosts they got both from the thumb-drives and Mayuri herself, the judgement spirit ultimately had to sacrifice herself just to stop her angels rampage(having Kerubiel inverse was a nice touch NGL). While she's obviously as crushed about this as Mikey is, she's at least satisfied knowing everyone is safe, and that she herself was a part of their group, if only for a moment.

That said, let me just take a moment to say that I am really loving what you did with Michael's reaction to Mayuri's disappearance. In contrast to Shido's rather dramatic, over-the-top, yelling-to-the-sky cliche reaction, Mikey's is a lot more somber and subdued. Not only is this a good contrast to how he normally is, but given that he's only known Mayuri for such a short time, it makes sense that, while he is obviously heartbroken over her fate, having it a bit more soft and down-to-earth makes it a lot more impactful. Even moreso since the girls, unlike in the movie where they almost immediately asked for another round of dates (Huge Mood Whiplash there btw), decided to remain quiet, and even some of them, namely Tohka, ended up comforting him as he quietly grieved for Mayuri. Leaving the actual ending of the movie with an epilogue is a smart move; it gives the audience enough time to change gears and process everything that's happened.

Definitely going to be looking forward to said epilogue and see what exactly happens. I know Mikey's got a lot of explaining to do, and knowing his current state of mind, there's a good chance he might end up spilling his guts and telling the Spirits what he's been thinking throughout this crazy date grand tour. They might end up getting a little upset that Michael was in fact thinking about leaving Japan, but with the new resolve he gained mid-fight, that probably won't be an issue in the long run. After all, he still has Mio, Wescott and 4 other spirits to deal with, so his role as Inheritor is far from over.

Bakuganman: Yeah, always found it strange that after Keribuel's attack, it was never brought up again. You can make the argument Mayuri isn't canon to the books, but then why was there a flashback of her generated in the beginning of S3 anime, and even mentioned by name in the Dystopia video game? She's even on one of Mio's Angel's in the books, though that could only be the author just adding that as a reference because in concept art for Mio, her Angels' never came up before she finally left her Phantom disguise. Mayuri Judgement was an entirely original story at the time.

Lol. Bit of a rant there. But yeah, Mikey's got a big questionnaire to answer.

So I peeled back the layers of Mayuri's character to make that distinction, that she probably wasn't jealous of Shido or Michael and the girls around them because she liked him to due to being made by their emotions, which that's fine; but the more I dissected her on my operating table, it became clear to me that she's probably more jealous of the fact she wasn't intended to live longer than she needs too. Gonna be honest, she could have been an interesting addition to the group if she wasn't killed/sealed off. Be a contrast to Tohka, who experienced the world in their own ways.

Yet, some people still call this a lazy story. XD XD

And yes, Shido's screaming felt a little unearned. I get the fact he wants to help people, but a dramatic cry like that over somebody he literally just met? Maybe if they spoke directly to each other more during the events of the movie, then maybe that would make sense, not just during the final 20 minutes. Unless this was more of a secondary reaction after Rinne's vanishing, then sure that fine, that would just be re-triggering that memory. Rinne however, only got a cameo as a disguise and Shido didn't seem to recognize it in the anime or books either.

Here is that epilogue by the way. Should give you a clue what exactly I plan to do with the side cast.

Left an Author's Note at the bottom of the page this time so you can directly get to the story.

Mayuri Judgement - Epilogue:

It's been a number of days since the 'Monster in the Sky' incident as the media called it, which actually wasn't too far off… Mayuri's power was in fact monstrous… almost god-like, and Michael and the others were only able to finally destroy it when she willingly gave up that power even after fusing her power with Tohka and the others. While it was effective to counter in the beginning, she ultimately had to sacrifice herself in the end. Noble, but sad.

That stuck with Michael for awhile, as well as her final words: "Your going to be the one to break the Cycle… defeat the Resetter… and give everybody a happy ending… Knowing I was part of that… that's enough…"

He resolved this up in the sky in his own mind, but this just added to the validity… he couldn't pack up and go. He had shit to do and in a way, had a promise to keep. He never ended up telling the girls his thoughts about leaving Japan either.

To honor the memory of Mayuri in his own way, some things are better left unsaid.

During the time gap, it was Reine who explained everything to those Spirits who had so many questions on what exactly happened with Mayuri and why as Michael wasn't in the mood to talk. She explained that Mayuri's orb appeared 6 days prior, the night after Miku's concert (a week if you count the day she actually appeared in the street), and they have been working overtime to figure out what was causing it and why Michael was the only one who could see it; also eventually deducing it was the girls' emotions which caused it to appear and Ratatoskr came up with the multi-date plan as a way to calm things down.

The girls who indirectly summoned Mayuri felt guilty at this, seeing it was their power that technically brought upon this (which Reine did predict correctly); however, this was not entirely their fault either.

Turned out to their surprise aside from Miku, Kotori and Kurumi; Mayuri was a Defense System that was passing "Judgement" on Michael as he sealed so much power and that was Mayuri's "Function", which is probably the real reason only Michael could see and hear her because he was her target to "Judge". Seeing as Kurumi was the only Spirit without her energy present in the orb, that made her an exception to the rule. While he did pass the test, the System, her Angel, malfunctioned and that was the reason it basically went berserk the way it did… and the rest is history.

It made Mayuri's sacrifice feel more depressing, and the girls' feeling even more sorry for the Judgement Spirit as she really meant no harm… she was merely following her programming and it just went haywire. Of course there was still her final words that in her short time observing Michael: she felt alive.

The Spirits' powers also had returned to Michael on their own a few minutes after the fight, ironically after Reine finished explaining everything.

Michael and the other Spirits, aside from Miku who had parents and her own place, stayed up in Fraxinus since that huge battle on orders of Kotori, but still returned to the surface for mundane activities or their social lives. While she never gave a reason why, she did have analysis' run on the Battlelogs the Spirits held so maybe that was a reason.

Speaking of which, they had no readings in them anymore. They now just seemed like normal, run-of-the-mill flash drives. Then of course there was Michael's that not only had been changing shape a few times, but now it had changed color. That test was taking a bit longer than expected to finish.

Any damage done by Kerubiel had also been completely repaired since it was thankfully all in one spot. The public had allot… repeat… a LOT of questions about the Angel and what exactly it was, drawing parallels to the New Tenju Tower incident. But as of right now, no official had been released by the government, probably because there was nothing to say about it. In Michael's eyes, there was no possible way to explain what happened away, but he'll have to wait and see.

This was probably another reason for living up in Fraxinus for the time being. Lay low for a while.

Michael decided to walk around and stretch his legs when he nearly bumped into a certain purple haired girl turning the same corner he did, both of their eyes widen in surprise not expecting to run into each other.

"Michael!/Tohka!" They said at the same time.

Awkward… just a tad. This of course wasn't the first time they've seen each other walking throughout the ship, but they haven't actually made much in the way of conversation either, being busy with tests and emotions… strangely more tests at Reine's request rather than Kotori's.

Also, Michael had been very much to himself ever since Mayuri disappeared in his arms, so Tohka actually purposefully left him alone sensing he needed time to himself… call it instinct, but it felt like the right thing to do.

She saw it from a distance but could only imagine how horrifying that was seeing somebody willingly sacrificed themself because you have an ability to seal away power, and being she was born of pure power…

"… you uh…?" Michael began to say, getting Tohka's attention. "Wanna grab some lunch?"

XXX

Still on board the invisible ship hovering over the city, Tohka and Michael went to the cafeteria bay after the former was invited by the latter. If Tohka was honest, it wasn't as good as earth food, and is nowhere close to Michael's cooking, but it was still edible so it'll have to do. They sat across from each other at a table, which as there were normally only eight employees in the ship at one time (9 if you count Mana who recently joined), there was not that much space for all of them so there had to be an order decided beforehand while a group of teens was living up here.

If one good thing came out of this, it's that Michael didn't need to buy or cook more food, and minimized the misunderstandings such as walking into rooms with an alien his age semi-naked (which to his credit only happened once on the surface). Not that he disliked taking care of his friends, but it did get a hectic sometimes the more girls were added to his "harem".

But he'll never have an ACTUAL harem with these girls, right? It's just a stupid joke Kurumi coined yet Miku encouraged.

Tohka and Michael ate together but it was awkwardly quiet. Michael eventually couldn't take it anymore and decided to break the tension. "… I'm sorry."

"*slurp!* Hmm?" Tohka, who was in the middle of putting something into her mouth with chopsticks, swallowed and blinked at him, not expecting him to talk.

"About Mayuri." He clarified. "I should've went with my gut and told you and everyone the truth from the start like I originally wanted too." He said, and Tohka did open her mouth to speak but Michael continued.

"I just…" Michael clenched his fist for a second before loosening it and continuing. "I didn't want you guys to worry this time, okay? Reine and Kotori made a good point, because for all we knew Kerubiel would've popped out sooner if you were made aware of what was going on. And summer finally started, so it was the perfect time to unwind, and I didn't want to take that away from you guys."

Tohka listened to Michael very carefully, no longer eating as to not distract herself from the serious confession Michael was giving her.

"I felt guilty, as I'm the central protagonist of this crazy story and for just once, I wanted to hang with my friends without things blowing up every time we turn around… just have fun without the fate of the world on us. Between you guys getting emotionally triggered, the infiltration of DEM USA, you Inversing and learning my dad's an Arkham City nutcase… you've all suffered enough for one school year." He added, not necessarily breaking the fourth wall, but just making a point.

Now Tohka was no longer mad at Michael but it was still disappointed he did not readily share something important with her on day one, but hearing this context made her heart flutter, showing even though he technically lied to them for almost a week, he still did everything in his power to make sure they were happy. He had good intentions behind his actions.

*tap*

Much to Michael's surprise, he felt Tohka's hand place itself on his own, feeling the warmth of it on top his hand. This made him look up at the girl in question to see she was smiling at him. "I forgive you." Tohka said softly to him. "I still wish you would've told me, but it sounds like you still put us first for our safety, and I guess it sounded like a tough situation so… apology accepted."

Tohka accepting his apology made the guilt inside of Michael ease up a bit, seeing her once again being very understanding, those would also be a small bit of innocence and naïveté but that also helped. He began to move…

PULL!

"ARGH!" For whatever reason, Tohka then decided to yank Michael forward a bit, but not too much. Now he was a bit closer her face… was it just him, or did he see the cold stare of Darth Tohka looking at him?

"Don't ever. Lie to me. Again." The Princess warned him.

"Crystal ma'am." Michael said, then Tohka removed her grip and let him go free. Cute alien girl or not, she can be quite scary when she wants to be.

"So, are you feeling any better?" Tohka went back to her normal self, wanting to make sure her closest friend was okay. Sure Ai, Mai and Mii were fun, but something about spending time with Michael just seemed to click more.

"More or less." Michael said. "How about the rest of you?" He added while still looking at Tohka, confusing her; but that's when she heard the automatic doors open and the other Spirits excluding Miku, surprisingly including Kurumi who had not run off this time, had entered the room after being called out.

Seriously, how does he do that?

"So… about Mayuri…" Michael went to try and apologize to them too, but Kotori was the one to wave it off.

"Reine told them everything. They already know." Kotori said.

"Yeah. Don't sweat it, Michael. We can forgive you this time." Kaguya said, slightly joking when she said that.

"Agreement. We understand… It was a tough decision for you to make." Yuzuru agreed with Yoshino and Yoshinon nodding.

"Would have been nice to know you could see her too." Kotori said to Kurumi.

"You never asked." Kurumi said with a smile, but Kotori held back her temper this time. Mike couldn't help but smile at the bickering. Things were looking back to normal… as normal as normal could be in this environment anyway.

"Speaking of asking, are you up for a second round?" Kurumi then asked Michael.

Now at first, Michael was gonna tease her, assuming she was teasing him again… then noticed the flushes on some of the other girls' faces aside from Tohka, who was just as confused as he was.

Michael: … … … hah?

"Ku-ku-ku…" Kaguya started. "Well seeing as you didn't officially conclude Tohka's date, then logic dictates you have to start over."

Mike was gonna protest that, but the thought of another date got Tohka excited. "Really?! We can go on another date already?!" She said with a huge smile.

"Can we play again, Michael?" Yoshino asked.

"… Can't I get one week of peace?" Michael asked.

"Refusal. Must strike while the iron is hot." Yuzuru said. All Michael did was look around at all the girls individually before over-dramatically sighing, knowing he wasn't gonna get out of this.

"… alright…" he gave in. "At least until after our esteemed leader says we can go home." He also gave a small condition.

"That's another reason we came to find you." Kotori said. "I think things have calmed down enough."

"How convenient…" Michael said with a hint of dryness, but then stretched out his fingers with his fingers and began to get up from his seat while getting his dish, probably to toss it back into the kitchen and leave it as someone else's problem… he's done enough this past week. "Well, one small request: let me chill in my bedroom for just a half hour at minimum." He said as he then began walking past the group of girls. "Then we can discu-."

Michael didn't get to finish because Kotori gently grabbed his shoulder, stopping him… why did she look unsure about something?

Kotori: Yeah… about that…

XXX

Michael was in seen back on the surface looking up at something with anime-white eyes and a mouth wide open. The camera pans around him until it faces his back, showing he was looking at a giant mansion in front of him… only, it wasn't Miku's…

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO OUR HOUSE?!" He screamed with his voice cracking. This was the same address, except the huge difference now was instead of his and Kotori's house next to an apartment building for the Spirits, both properties were currently occupied by a giant mansion. He'd put it on par with Miku's except this one looked blatantly out of place, being a more middle-class neighborhood.

He wasn't disappointed with the sight… it was mostly shock. The girls' (except Kotori as she was the one to show this) even shared the sentiment, being just as surprised but less loud about and only stared.

"Well… remember how some of Kerubiel's attacks got through our Territory?" Kotori asked, which triggered the following conversation and both her's and Michael's responses being short:

"When they-?"

"Yup."

"And both houses-?"

"Mhmm."

"So we lived in Fraxi-?"

"Exactly."

Michael still cannot believe it even though it was right in front of him. He and the Spirits from that apartment were no longer gonna be neighbors… they were gonna be roommates, just like him and Tori. One big happy (and most likely dysfunctional) family… another one of her bright ideas put into execution without his consent.

He could protest, but what good with that do him now? It was already said and done. Then again it did sound interesting, and the house did look nice… it'll be a huge adjustment, but it could be worse. He could have no house thanks to Kerubiel.

"… … Might as well give myself a tour. The locks still the same?" Michael figured he'd look around his new home, see what it has to offer. He walked up to the doors and inserted his key rather quickly.

"Wait, Michael! There's something…!" Kotori tried to warn him there was something else, but that's when Michael fully turned his key and saw it still worked, opening the door at the same time…

"DARLING!"

HUG! CRASH!

Before Michael could form a coherent thought, a blur of silver and pink threw itself into him, knocking him to the ground with a cheerful voice. The American had closed his eyes from the impact, and groaned after said impact. When he opened his eyes and looked at the impacter…

"Miku?! What're you doing in my house?!" Michael snapped at Miku, whom was the tackler. He didn't mean to snap at her cause its not like he disliked her. Far from it. Again, it was mostly shock.

"I actually did it, Darling! I had the talk with my mom and dad!" Miku said still in a cheerful voice, still hugging him tightly

"I think they already know where you came from…" Michael said.

"Not that! The other talk!" Miku said while looking directly at him while still on top of him. "I took your advice and they actually listened!" It took Michael a few more seconds before he remembered what she was talking about, thought Miku continued still. "I told them exactly how I felt and they let me move out!"

"Move out? Then where are you…?" Her last answer came to him so suddenly so he was going to ask where she was going to live… then the words actually processed in his head. Move out? As in, move out of her house?… And the fact she just came out of his…

There's no way… did she…?

The Sealer of Spirits sat up immediately, Miku having to wrap her arms around his neck so she wouldn't fall herself as he looked into the doorway she practically jumped out of and at him.

Inside the doorway, he estimated there were at least 40 or 50 pink luggages inside, the same make as the one she brought 'Michelles' uniform in, all unopened and looking severely overpacked by how expanded they looked. It didn't look like she started unpacking a single one, meaning she must have literally just got there the moment they showed up and wanted to surprise her Darling, but then was most likely as surprised herself at the new style of residence.

"I love the new look Darling! It's as big as mine!" Miku said while still wrapped around him, impressed at the new living conditions. Michael also started to stand up at this time. "I only just got here, but it looks perfect! It's just what we needed for our growing harem! Our big happy family!"

Michael didn't say a single word… he did then grab one of Kurumi's arms with his right hand and place it on the side of his head like when the convinced Miku to join them in saving Tohka, which everyone looked at him questioningly when he did this.

"Just… get it over with." He said, it clear to what he was implying.

Kurumi smiled a moment later before pulling her hand away. "I don't know, I kinda like it." She said. "It's definitely a step up, and there's plenty of space for all of us." Whether or not she knew this off the back of her head or had sent in a clone to do reconnaissance before, during or after this was unknown; but she certainly found these new living conditions interesting.

Michael then grabbed Kaguya's hand with his left hand, placing her's over his heart. "Then you. Make it quick. Fuse with Yuzy if ya gotta." Again, it was obvious as to what he was implying.

"Don't be such a party pooper! It could be fun!" Kaguya declared, pulling her arm away despite feeling his beating heart and did an upward fist pump. "Plus, all of us living together sounds way more convenient."

"Ditto. The pros of living together under the same roof severely outweighs any cons. Especially if it means you'll see us more often." Yuzuru said, the Yamais' obviously on board with this. Actually nobody did, they all seemed perfectly fine with this. Even Tohka, easily the biggest one prone to jealousy.

With no words spoken, Michael simply turned around and walked away.

"M-Michael?" Tohka asked, watching him walk off.

"Darling?" Asked Miku, also watching him go.

"Where you think your going!" Kotori asked him.

"Walking away from your responsibilities never solves anything!" Kaguya said, and it was at this point the other girls began to follow him.

"No use playing hard to geeeet." Kurumi called to him.

He just kept walking.

XXX

Another 6 days later…

With no way out of it, Michael was forced to take the girls on date after date for the next couple of days. They weren't bad, and it was nice not having a ball electrifying death hanging over their heads, and it went in the exact same order as during that situation, basically a redo and "starting a new game".

It was 'best for last's' Tohka's turn, and most likely there was not going to be any life or death shenanigans this time, but the Bottomless Princess was late, Michael's having to check his phone to see she was almost 10 minutes late.

'Hmm… where is she?' He asked himself while looking around once.

XXX

Just around the corner, Tohka was running as fast as her feet could move toward the meeting place for her second round with Michael. She couldn't believe she overslept like that, having to rush to get ready and out if their new home only being unable to find the door as the home was so new. It was a crazy first week which Michael would most likely understand, but she still felt bad about being late for such a special occasion: a date with a boy she liked spending time with.

When Tohka approached a turn and didn't slow down…

WHAM!

"WAAAAAAAAAH!" She crashed into someone, their screams going off, and the Spirit falling back on her butt. "Oooooooh… I'm sorry…" Tohka was going to apologize, but she then noticed the person she bumped into… or rather, some-ones.

It was shown that Ai, Mai, and Mii were on the ground as well. Ai was on her butt like Tohka was but the other 2 were on their backs as they slowly arose, groaning in pain like Tohka was before.

"Guys!" Tohka said, a little surprised to see them here and not expecting to run into them.

"T-Tohka?" Aii asked… call Tohka crazy, but did Aii look scared or something?

"W-W-What are you in such a rush for?" Asked Mai, the trio standing up an dusting themselves off… seriously, why are they talking to her like that?

Even stranger: no "That's so lame." The owner of this catchphrase having a very similar look the other girls did.

"Oh, I'm on my way to see Michael." Tohka said, brushing off the strange looks her friends were giving her. "Sorry I can't stay and chat, I gotta go!" She then began to walk past them and was then going to take off running when she was clear, but…

"WAIT!" Aii then quickly and rather tightly grabbed Tohka's shoulder, stopping the Princess dead in her tracks. When Tohka looked back at her friend… why'd she look unsure now? Or was that queasy? Aii moaned as she glanced away, but this only confused Tohka even further.

"Aii? Are you okay?" Tohka kindly asked, deciding to forget about Michael for just one second as her friend didn't look so good.

Aii then slowly removed her hand while gently letting go of the Spirit. She didn't say anything else, but her face gave the impression she was gathering her thoughts. "Tohka… are you… into swords?"

A question mark popped over Tohka's head… why was Aii asking her that? "Ummm… wwwwhat for?" She asked, not understanding the significance of the question.

"There you are!" Michael's voice said, where Tohka looked behind her and the trio looked followed her head turning back to shown the same American was approaching them. "If you wanted to see them real quick, why didn't you call me?" He asked friendly, thinking Tohka must've been hanging out with her friends and that was the reason why she was late.

"Oh no, I just…" Tohka was going to explain herself, but for some reason Aii jumped on ahead and pretty much flew at Michael. No she wasn't angry and going to tell him off this time, she again looked scared. Ironically, Mai and Mii looked shocked Aii went this far.

"MICHAEL! DO YOU KNOW IF TOHKA'S A SUPERHERO?!" Aii shouted in his face, and was pretty close to him too. Michael looked just as confused as Tohka was a few moments ago.

"Uhhhhh…" Was all Michael could say, also not understanding what gotten into Aii.

"YOUR WITH HER 24/7'! YOUR WITH HER ALL THE TIME!" Aii continued to shout. "PLEASE, WE GOTTA KNOW! WE SAW SOMEONE WHO LOOKS LI-MPPPPPPFH!"

She was then yanked away by the other two, Mii using one hand to hold her mouth shut while both her and Mai held her back entirely.

"Uhh… d-d-don't mind her. S-She's insane." Mai nervously chuckled.

"hahahaha, she's so lame." Mii added with a nervous chuckle of her own. Both Michael and Tohka blinked at this.

"W-we're gonna her home. D-don't mind us," Mai said and after that, she and Mii began to fast walk down the street in the direction Michael came from. "E-Enjoy you daaate!"

"W-We're so lame!" Mii added and with that, the trio picked up the pace down the street before getting as far away from the duo as possible. Michael and Tohka just stared at them and watched them go.

"… that was weird." Tohka said.

"Even for those 3 weirdos." Michael said, then looked to Tohka. "You ready to have another best last date?" He joked. All Tohka did was smile and nod. And side-by-side, the 'Prince' and his 'Princess' walked down the street together, to where new dates and new adventures await them…

RING, RING! RING, RING! RING, RING!

Michael's phone went off. Rolling his eyes in slight annoyance, he got it out of his pocket seeing whose name was on it: Kotori.

"{Inaudible} fucking kidding me," Michael said lowly in a mutter though Tohka still heard him. "What now? I know you see I'm busy." Michael said as he answered the phone and correctly predicting as usual the Fraxinus cameras were in fact watching him.

Crisis or not, some things never change…

"Take Tohka behind that building. The one on your left. We'll pick you up." Kotori said quite vaguely.

"Can't this wait? I-…" Michael tried to say.

"It's important! Get up here!" Kotori said, ending the call at that point. Michael shrugged, but lead Tohka over behind the building Kotori instructed them to before they were teleported up to Fraxinus.

XXX

Michael, Tohka, and Kotori were walking down a corridor in the next scene.

"You wanna tell us what's going on yet? Haven't we learned anything as of late about honesty in a relationship?" Michael asked Kotori as they continued to walk, mentioning the previous events of last week. Kotori however, ignored him.

They eventually approached a door, one of the exam rooms for testing. However, this was not any of the rooms they had used when being tested on. When the 3 of them walked in, they noticed Reine was working on something at a computer.

"Is it ready yet?" Kotori asked Reine.

"Just one last checkup to be safe." Reine said without looking behind her at the small group that entered.

"Is what ready?" Michael asked. "Tori? What is going on?"

It was here Kotori finally started to come clean. "Remember when the Battlelogs activated and are now drained of power?"

Tohka and Michael looked questioningly at Kotori. "… yeeeeeeah, why?" Michael asked.

"Well while examining yours, we found something quite interesting." Kotori said. Now Michael's interest was somewhat peaked. Even Tohka's to a degree. "These Battlelogs not only have energy packed in them, but they also work in reverse. The more energy they have stored, they appear to change in design as a way to contain that power, yours having done that several times already." She explained.

"And you couldn't tell me this over the phone?" Michael asked. While it was nice to get an answer on the strange piece of technology, did she really have to interrupt their date just to tell him that? That was odd, even for Kotori.

Of course, this still didn't explain why they were created in the first place…

"We'd thought it'd be better if you saw for yourself." Reine said while still typing away, making the trio look at her now.

"Saw what?" Michael asked.

Reine finally stopped running whatever maintenance she was doing, and walked over to the Sealer and the 2 Spirits. She then held out her hand. "If I may…"

Knowing exactly what she wanted but had no idea why, Michael reached into his pocket and pulled out his Battlelog, which again had changed form to yellow and had a different symbol on it as mentioned before. He gave it over to Reine, who then walked back to the computer.

"Cross your fingers." Reine said.

"For WHAAAAAAT?" Michael said, wanting a straight answer for once… humorously, Tohka was shown crossing her's on both hands. Kotori joined in with a smirk, also with both. Michael, after groaning, copied their actions.

Reine, for some odd reason, turned on the full-body examination equipment first while there was no subject in to scan. For what reason, Michael couldn't tell you. She then typed in a few more things before finally inserting Michael's Battlelog into an outlet on her computer, the examination equipment whirling.

Michael and Tohka watched as, much to their surprise, a humanoid shape very slowly began to take form inside, though it was very transparent as if in a space between dimensions like you'd see in fantasy anime.

Wings… a black dress… lion leggings… and blonde hair…

Her eyes were closed… unconscious… but alive…

PLEASE READ - FINAL AUTHOR'S NOTE:

And that's it. The official conclusion to "Son of Westcott: Mayuri Judgment".

One thing I'll say is Mayuri is NOT fully alive in the conventional sense. She's being generated by energy from the Battlelog, but as you can probably tell, one is not gonna be enough to bring her back completely…

So, if you have anything to say about this story or its current chapters; I recommend doing so now if you haven't already. They will be gone after I return from a well deserved break from this story. I might post the Yamai lemon as I was requested a few times before, but that'll probably be the only additional update before the story in its current out-of-order form is long gone.

Did you have a favorite moment in the movie/the fic? Favorite date? Favorite line from any of the cast? Leave me know in the comments.

This story has hit over 15 thousand views now, and I'd like to personally thank the "this story is lazy" crowd. As the more times they click on the story and leave reviews, the higher my position in the algorithm so thank you. Thank you for helping this story continue to grow and gain support.

No longer being facetious, truly I thank everyone who had clicked, reviewed, commented, etc for their support as well. I've said it multiple times, but it's really true. Thank you all so very much for getting this fic as big as it is.

It's not the biggest in the world but don't you worry… it'll get there .

It's been an amazing date with all of you, and here's to growing our harems to become true Harem Kings! I'll be seeing ya all later!
