Prologue: A Family Dinner

Izuku traced his fingers across the faded, yet well maintained wallpaper. "It's almost as if, I never left." He thought to himself, smiling at his mother's thoughtfulness.

Taking a seat on his All Might themed bed, he gazed at all the memorabilia that he had collected over the years. The pale light of the moon filtering in through the window, cutting through the darkness. His verdant green eyes meandering across his impressive array of posters until it finally landed upon his idol in all his prime and glory. "I wonder," He subconsciously bit his lower lip. "If had taken another route that day, how my—"

"There you are!" A voice called out from behind him.

"Mom?" Izuku turned his head around in surprise, breaking out of his stupor.

Inko Midoriya stepped into her son's room, slightly shorter, with gray highlights in her hair, the sound of raucous laughter bleeding in from the background.

"What's wrong honey, not feeling the Christmas spirit?" She asked closing the door behind her and taking both his hands into hers. Her eyebrows stitched together in concern.

"I…" He began, before his ears caught a muffled 'I am here!' through the door, followed by the sound of laughter and clapping. "It's nothing." He smiled standing up, and squeezing Inko's hands. "I was just thinking I have the best mother in the world." And what an idiot I was being.

"Oh, you!" A light pink dusted Inko's cheeks, her lips curling upwards.

"Come on, we're missing the party." Izuku said, gently nudging his mother towards the door.

"…Izuku?"

"Yeah?" He replied, coming to a stop to meet his mother's gaze.

Inko's eyes widened, glimmering, almost as if she was on the verge of tears."Never mind." She said shaking her head — hugging him tightly, her tears staining his shirt. Izuku wondered if he had done something wrong, but when he took a closer look at her face he noticed that the through the tears, she was smiling. It was the same smile she had given him all those years back when he got his UA acceptance letter.

He gave Inko a quick squeeze back, before dislodging to open the door for her. He was greeted by the sight of most his family gathered around the fireplace he had installed last summer, as they listened in to his mentor and friend regale tales of his past exploits.

Izuku would've been more than content just to watch over them, when he felt a gentle push on his back.

"Mom?" He turned to look back at Inko.

"Go to them." She said with a wide smile on her lips. "I'll go help Itsuka in the kitchen — that girl really can be too serious for her own good!"

"I…thanks mom, for everything." Izuku said, returning a smile of his own.

"Always. Now go." She said the second part in a slightly louder tone, making their presence known to the small crowd ahead.

"Dad!"

"Dad's here!"

Two similar looking boys around 3 and 4 years of age with white and black hair came running up to him from their mothers' laps. Izuku bent down on one knee to catch and hoist them up, earning delighted squeals from the two boys.

"Were you two behaving?" He asked softly, alternating a look between the two. To which his sons made their complaint for him known for ever doubting their innocence.

"Is that so? And if I ask your mothers?"

"They'd say of course, otherwise we'd be the first to spank their little asses!"

"Rumi, that's a bit…"

"Hmm, what's wrong with what I said Yaoyorozu?" The rabbit heroine tilted her head quizzically at the raven-haired girl seated next to her.

"Well, that's—"

"Dinner's ready!" The former big sister of 1-B announced, much to the relief of Momo. Which didn't go unnoticed by Izuku as he flashed a wry smile at his wives antics. Still he wouldn't trade the world for them — at this stage he couldn't imagine his life without them anymore.

"Go take a seat Asahi, Koutarou." He urged his sons, helping a certain dynamic pinkette stand up as tenderly she rubbed her belly. "Thanks Izu-chan." She said with a shit-eating grin after kissing him on the cheek.

"Anytime." He said, blushing despite his age — which only added fuel to the fire. Thankfully for him Mina's attention was soon taken up by a far more interesting homemade KFC style chicken on the table.

As they all sat down to say their grace, Izuku took that opportunity to look around at his slightly odd, but loving family. He didn't know how he got this lucky, but the one thing he knew for sure was that he was happy.

I've been reading fanfics for a while now and wanted to try my hand at it. Not quite sure how it turned out, but worst case scenario it's a learning experience anyways.

One more thing, there will be a harem but for now I'll only be focusing on 8 girls. Some have already been revealed, and others will be over the next few chapters.

Merry Christmas in advance, do let me know what your thoughts are about this chapter in the reviews, and thanks for reading!
