Ya know, of all the Spirits we have covered throughout the planned story, there is one I completely forgot and have been thinking about a lot recently. And that would be Nibelcole, Westcott's daughters. Since in this canon Michael is his son, it got me thinking: how can I make that interesting?

So I've written a small piece between them, but FYI, I literally just thought this up and have no real execution on how I'm going to use it effectively. It might not even happen at all, but I felt we could explore it together.

Nibelcole Chapter:

"I really enjoyed this date, Michael. I had fun." Mayuri said after walking next to Michael, having spent the whole day together much like how he would spend a full day with one of the Spirits during Mayuri's first appearance.

Honestly, she was so happy she could finally interact with the boy who went out of his way to bring her back even though he didn't really have to, the happiness written all over her face now that she can finally touch him and spend time with him. They were even holding hands which cutely enough, Mayuri was shellshocked over it like Freya was when it first happened…

That was another sad loss, but not much he could do about it.

"But the hardware store?…" Michael asked with a cocked eyebrow. "That's weird. Even for you Spirits."

"What! It was cute!" Mayuri cutely whined. "All those toys were adorable!"

Michael rolled his eyes… by toys, she was talking about the various tools in the store. He found this extremely ironic considering what Mayuri and her now-destroyed Angel actually was.

"Well, at least nothing blew up this time." Michael said. "We still got some daylight, so…" He was walking along, but then Mayuri suddenly stopped which in turn as she was holding his hand, made him stop too. "… You okay, Yuri?" He then asked, wondering what was wrong.

"Michael… there's something I've been meaning to tell you." Mayuri began. "But then the whole Nia thing happened, then Westcott stole her Demon King, not to mention Kurumi's clone again…" Mayuri continued while mentioning previous events, though this seemed to be just her gathering her thoughts. The look on her face made this seem important. "Remember what I've called you when we first met?"

"Before or after you destroyed my house?" Michael asked not being 100% serious.

"I'm serious, Michael!" Mayuri said, adamantly. She of course knew he was joking. "Your still The Inheritor. Even though you stopped Westcott from using the Mimics, your work is far from done."

"I know, I remember," Michael said. "I'm this big-shot hero who's supposed to bring balance back to the universe or something, right? Give all the Spirits a happy ending?" He added, quoting Mayuri's words.

"Yes. All of them." Mayuri confirmed. "Including her."

"Her?" Michael questioned, as the word 'her' was kind of a broad term in his situation.

"Michael, the Original Vessel or any Vessel thereafter never dealt with the Mimics. In fact, they didn't even know they existed." Mayuri told him, which gave Mike some pause but Mayuri continued. "But there was only one Spirit none of them ever had the opportunity to save."

That also got Michael's attention. A Spirit that not one Vessel, even the OG one, couldn't save? "Well who is it?" He asked the Judgement Spirit.

Mayuri took a pause herself, knowing Michael wasn't gonna like or understand it. "… Nibelcole."

Michael blinked. Several times. Needing to make sure he heard that right. "… Yubaba? Are you serious?" He asked, his tone getting a bit tougher upon the mention of her Nibelcoles name. "Why the fuck would I wanna help her?! And why would you even suggest that? Don't you remember how many times they've tried to kill you guys? And me?!" He added, asking why would he want to help the person who attacked him 200 times (or at least 200 possible timelines) and everyone else because daddy told her too.

Of all the Spirits he's met, even though he had a problem with Natsumi initially and even went as far as to refuse to Seal her at first, Nibelcole was probably the only Spirit he actually hated.

"Michael, I get how you feel… believe me, I do." Mayuri said, truly understanding why Michael would be reluctant to even think of assisting an enemy, but he needed to hear this. "But if you remember, you've befriended several Spirits who have tried to kill you."

"Because they were dealing with trauma!" Michael argued back, giving the other girls an excuse. "What possible mental anguish could Paperweight be going through?"

"I'm not saying she is." Mayuri said. "But… I genuinely believe you can help her. You fought and held your own against multiple Inversions, and went out of your way for the Mimics as well. You've even restored me! Something no Vessel has ever attempted!"

"And you think I can somehow persuade her to turn over a new page?" Michael sarcastically asked. Yes, even he knew this sounded kind of rude, but he was very skeptical about Mayuri's proposal. "And even if I could, what possible leverage do I have against her other than power worth of 12 Spirits?"

Mayuri looked at him straight in the face and said: "Your the only Vessel with a personal connection to her."

Now at first, Michael was confused with what the Angel-less Spirit of Judgement was saying. That is, until he really thought about what exactly she said. From what that implied, that meant no other Inheritor had some sort of connection to the Artificial Spirit. Michael Pelham himself was the only one with not just any connection, but a personal one. It took no more than 3 more seconds for him to figure out what exactly that connection was:

They're father. Issac Westcott.

It honestly did make some sense. Michael what effectively the CEO's son, and with that same CEO now a Spirit (although now a very weakened one), he used his power to create another offspring, that being Nibelcole.

Kotori may be his stepsister… Nibelcole was an actual sister, maybe not in the conventional sense, but still a sister nonetheless.

"Michael, as the Inheritor, it's ultimately your call on what to do. But at least promise me you'll think about it?" Mayuri said after Michael didn't respond further.

He was gonna protest, but the half-pleading half-serious look on Mayuri made him consider it. He still did feel bad for her, considering her own situation. "… I'll spin my wheels on it." He basically said: fine, I'll think about it.

"Yay!" Mayuri suddenly jumped at him and gave him a big hug. "You've never steered us wrong Michael, so I know whatever you decide will be…" she was gonna say that whatever choice Michael would make would probably be the best option, but around that time she realized how close his face was when she looked at him.

She felt herself staring into him for a bit, and likewise he was too. Mayuri was as much of a cute girl as the other Spirits in Michael's perspective, and Mayuri's feelings only continued to develop for him ever since she miraculously returned. She was the one who lost control of her body and began to edge closer to him very slowly.

But then realized what she was doing and pulled away while also stopping the hug, her face red. She also held an arm with one of her hands. What was she thinking?! She couldn't kiss him! Like Reine warned, although they could touch, kissing may in fact re-trigger his sealing power, she might disappear for good this time.

Not only that, they were still in public, even though nobody else was around currently.

Michael had to admit he was a little disappointed she broke it off. What can he say? She was reasonably attractive, and it wasn't fair that the other girls could do pretty much whatever they wanted with him, yet she couldn't risk getting too intimate. They all agreed it wasn't fair, Mayuri being the only one who couldn't act on her feelings.

"… here." Michael said before gently taking the hand she had hanging down, which she assumed he was gonna hold and walk her home… why was he lifting it up that high though? And why was he staring at?

"Michael, what are y-?" Before Mayuri could even finish her sentence, she gaped at what Michael did next.

*smooch*

He gently kissed the back of her hand, as if she was a princess in a fairy tale. This completely surprised her. Now in terms of this kiss compared to the one that Sealed her, technically it was her kissing him and he didn't kiss back, but it still felt like a weight was lifted off her shoulders when they shared it. It couldn't fully compare, but it still felt nice.

Only… he didn't stop.

He continued to kiss her hand, parting from her hand for a second before replanting his lips back on nearly the exact same spot he was just on. In fact, Mayuri even felt a wet sensation a few times… his tongue? Or just saliva? She had no idea, but it felt even better the longer he continued it, although it did feel a little embarrassing as again, they were outside.

But… she couldn't pull away… her arm would not respond. It's almost like his kissing was like a snakebite that infected her with a poison… a poison which completely paralyzed her and left her to be devoured.

Mayuri exhaled a few times, trying to control her breathing due to her increasing heartbeat, which sounded crazy as this wasn't even her lips! It was only her hand! Even so, he didn't stop, resetting the kiss so she can feel his breath upon each reset, which mixed with the moist location where he was kissing her, giving her a sensation she never felt before.

She tried not too, but she nearly moaned out loud a few times. She had to clench her mouth shut and close her eyes, but even that wasn't enough. She was still softly moaning and whimpering due to the pleasure his actions generated. Her fists were balled up as well, including the one Michael was servicing, but this didn't stop him.

He did stop after… honestly Mayuri had no idea how long it lasted. All she was aware of was the contact, the action, then the ending. Time otherwise just seem to freeze. Michael looked back at her taking a needed breath while Mayuri couldn't stop looking at him either. They didn't exchange any further words.

It wasn't an official kiss… but it was something.

Both teens eventually made it back to the mansion. They were about to walk in together when… "Ah, shit." Michael said.

"What? What's wrong?" Mayuri asked.

"Your not gonna believe this, but I think I left my phone at the register." Michael said, pulling out both his pants pockets to show they were empty.

"I'll get us back." Mayuri immediately offered, her body beginning to glow yellow.

"NO!" Michael quickly grabbed both of her shoulders, making her stop suddenly and look at him questioningly. "… er. No. Thank you." He added. he did find her urge to help him a sweet, but he and his stomach wasn't exactly used to her method of teleportation… "I can walk it. I'll be back soon, its only down the street."

"You sure?" Mayuri asked with a cute head cock, still having never picked up on how her teleportation affects him.

"Positive." Mike insisted, then letting her go. "I'll be back in a few minutes. Help Kotori set the table while I'm gone." He added as he left and went back down the street. Mayuri did head back inside, but then flashed back to the moment they shared a few minutes ago… him kissing her hand…

She shook it off, but still can't help but think about it. Was this was it was like being in love? Not able to think of anything else when the other person in the relationship did certain things to you? Regardless, she headed back inside.

As Michael turned a corner, now heading home, he heard fluttering of papers in the wind; which was quite common in the city, sometimes the newspaper will blow in the breeze… only there was no breeze this night.

Michael deadpanned at this with a fist on one of his hips. "So was it Auntie Matters this time, or did Daddy Dearest send you?"

As if responding to his call, the papers emitted light and transformed into a cute girl… scratch that, several cute girls; in a Dress like Nia's nun habit with a miniskirt, gray-black hair and turquoise eyes. On the evil side or not, Michael couldn't fib upon her looks and body type…

"Oh please, that gorilla?" Said one of the Nibelcoles, calling Ellen by the nickname she gave her.

"That old hag needs to learn to chill out honestly. Too strict and by the book." Said another Nibelcole.

"But if you must know, Father didn't send us either."

"We came here all on our own. Figured we'd take initiative for a change."

"Yeah. And imagine how proud he'd be learning we succeeded!" That particular Nibelcole gave a cutesy pose when she said this.

"So its not to spend some quality time with your big brother?" Michael asked, clearly making a joke.

"Oh, no, of course it is!" A Nibelcole said.

"What better way to spend time with you, than bringing your head to Father?" Said another.

"Oh. And we mean the one on your shoulders. Not the one you've been drilling them with." Said a third, mentioning his many escapades with the other girls… course whether or not she actually meant it or was simply taunting was unclear. Though to be fair, Nibelcole had seen Kurumi in bed naked with him after she and him had that argument on how they should deal with Mio.

Michael then looked at the bill in his hand from the Date he just shared with Mayuri at a hardware store, showing she bought a wrench [under his credit card] that she deemed 'was cute'.

"… should've bought the paper shredder." He sighed with a mutter before stuffing the receipt into his pocket and summoning an Angel he felt worked best in the situation. For once, his first choice wasn't Tohka's sword, but it instead was Raphael, Kaguya and Yuzuru's, the wings from this Angel forming on his back.

Like many times before, the Nibelcoles swarmed at their target which was Michael. Of course all he had to do was summon a large tornado to blow the artificial Spirits back. Even if they did get through or try something else, chains would strike them and they'd turn back into pages which were then blown away by the breeze. Large ice shards flew out from all directions as well, impaling more Nibelcole.

Now here's where Michael would have jumped out of the twister and attack the phony Spirits some more, but this echoed in his head: "Your the only Vessel with a personal connection to her."

The above made him disengage the tornado but nothing else. Was Mayuri onto something or was it just wishful thinking?… He did promise, and if there was ever a good time to attempt it, it was now.

"Is there any particular reason you always after us?" Michael asked, though inside he still couldn't believe he was actually attempting this.

Nibelcole #3: Well, duh. Isn't it obvious?

Nibelcole #5: Father wants your head on a platter.

Nibelcole #19: And your fuck buddies are always getting in our way. Rude if you ask me.

Nibelcole #12: Personally, I think you'll look cute on a platter. No apple necessary.

"So basically you all Support The Current Thing?" Michael asked dryly, deciding to ignore her comment about the girls being his fuck-buddies. "You don't think for yourselves at all?"

Nibelcole #8: No! Of course we think for ourselves!

Nibelcole #16: Father gave us life, so we support him!

Nibelcole #22: And if we need to kill a few people, so what?

"Did you ever stop and think to yourselves why? Why is daddy-o wanting the girls' Crystals? Why he made the Mimics?… Why he made you?" Michael questioned her. "Just think about it for one minute. If he already had a means of making Spirits, why did he only create you AFTER they were destroyed? Why didn't he just use the same mention instead of waiting UNTIL he stole a book from the Librarian?"

Now the Nibelcole never really questioned that, so you can clearly see Michael's point did make each one of them react with a slight eye widen. Like it or not, the Sealer did bring up a valid argument. Even Nibelcole was aware of the Mimics and that entire story arc even though it was settled before her birth… but why did Westcott wait so long to create her then? He clearly had the technology and resources at his disposal, and her sheer numbers probably would have made a huge difference during that situation.

Nibelcole #14: S-so what?

Nibelcole #9: You think your smooth talks gonna work on us?

Nibelcole #12: Yeah… the Mimics were probably insufficient, so we're the next best thing!

Did they care about what Michael said? Probably not, but he could tell he poked something. "You trying to convince me, or yourself?" He accused, honestly not sure if that was the case or his words just took the paper assassin by surprise and nothing more. "Has the man even hugged you? Shown you any affection?… Has he even uttered the phrase: I love you?"

Every single Nibelcole in his line of sight glanced away while gritted their teeth for only a second or two before looking back at Michael… was that anger, or confusion?

Nibelcole #1: … … I'm his daughter…!

"And I'm his son! Whoop Dee Doo!" Michael snapped back. "If it makes you feel any better, he never said that to me either! I thought it was just his way, but then I realized: he never cared for me… He only cared about what I could do and when I couldn't give him what he wanted, he put me in a box on the side of the street with a handwritten sign that said 'Adopt Me!' Everything that man does is for himself!"

Nibelcole was balling her fist… the one he was focused on anyway, he wasn't sure if the other ones were also doing this, but he kept up the pressure regardless after letting his last point sink in for a moment. "Don't you realize that thing is just using you?! Your about as useful to him as a bar of soap, because the moment your usefulness runs out, he'll ghost you, or put you back in the book! He won't even bother bookmarking where he left off!… He'll destroy you once you served your purpose! Or get that gorilla to do it for him!"

His words were starting to piss off Nibelcole, but Mike didn't realize this and kept it up. "Ya know whats funny? Your just as phony as those Mimics were, but at least they had the mental capacity to think on their own, not try to desperately win the approval of somebody that never gave it in the first place!" Michael raised his voice a bit from raising emotion, remembering some of the friendlier Mimics he met along the journey, which included Freya. "They might not have been real Spirits to begin with, but they were more human than you ever could be!"

For the first time in her life… Nibelcole snapped.

Nibelcole (all): SHUT UUUUUUUUUP!

They all flew at him, not even caring if they were gonna get hurt again. Each and every one of them was now fueled by rage. They attacked him wildly: punches, kicks, holding paper to cut him with, throwing paper to cut him with, turning into paper to cut him with… they were like a school of piranhas, trying to tear at Michael every chance they got. Course all Mike had to do since the Yamais' power was still active was dodge, but Nibelcole's sudden anger seemed to also grant her a speed increase so he was almost hit quite a number of times from the Nibelcole swarm.

"~YYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!~" He then sang/shouted using Gabriel's power, causing visible sound waves which did get the Nibelcole to stop for a brief second, covering their ears and such. But before they could do anything else, Michael then summoned Metatron and Zafkiel's guns to shoot the Paper Spirits while they were paralyzed from the shout. He did this until each Nibelcole was gone.

The Spirit(s) didn't try attacking him further, which was odd and the papers also disappeared… she must've decided to leave or had enough. Either way, Michael was left alone, so he shutdown his powers sensing it was safe.

"… never liked paperwork." He commented before continuing his journey back home.

"You tried delivering me his head on your own?" Westcott asked the Nibelcole that were with him as either they returned, or they were relaying back what they shared in their hive mind.

"We wanted to take some initiative."

"Those girls are always getting in the way, so we tried a stealthier approach."

That was said by the few Nibelcole in the same room.

"I see…" Westcott said. "Next time, wait for a plan of attack before jumping into battle. I still need the others to Inverse for their crystals." That was all Westcott said before he begin to leave the office.

"… father?" Westcott did stop and crane his neck back to the Nibelcoles that were still there, as one of them did call out it him just now. "… your proud, right?" Call it crazy, but this Nibelcole in particular grabbed an arm the same way Mayuri did, only her face wasn't red. "That we tried?"

It took Westcott a full minute. Exactly 60 seconds to answer. "You tried your best." He then left without another word. Nibelcole thought she'd feel happy upon hearing that come out of his mouth, and to an extent she was… but why did his words sound more like he was brushing it off? Yes, Westcott always spoke like that…

Michael's Voice: *Has he even uttered the phrase: I love you?*

FLASH!

Michael: Don't you realize that thing is just using you?!

FLASH!

Michael: He'll destroy you once you served your purpose! Or get that gorilla to do it for him!

FLASH!

Michael's words suddenly echoed in the Nibelcoles heads, along with the looks on his face when he was saying those words. Each Nibelcoles' eyes widened before grabbing their heads with their hands, then shut their eyes and shook their heads as if telling the imaginary Michael to get out of their shared brain.

That was it, wasn't it?… He was just trying to get inside her head, just like he did to those other girls! Now he's probably at home in a giant bed screwing each of their brains out, which sounded hot but that wasn't the point. He was lying! She was Westcott's child, the one he actually wanted! Michael was probably just jealous! He wasn't worthy of Westcott!

It wasn't true… It can't be…

Now if Mayuri seemed a little inconsistent with her character, that was on purpose. My reasoning is since she was made by the energy of Kaguya, Yuzuru, Miku, Tohka, Kotori and Yoshino; along with sharing their love, she also has portions of their personalities. She doesn't have much of a character in canon anyway, so why not give her a little of everybody?

I think this is pretty much all I can keep experimenting with until the official story, though I am gonna post both Yamai lewds for you guys in the next 2 chapters. I wanna then start posting the full fic after those.

As for Nibelcole… again, I'm really not sure. This was even more off the cuff than most of the planed fic. And even should I get it too work, there's gonna issues to work out should Nibelcole survive. Mayuri I was able to do easy enough with the Battlelogs, but since Nibelcole is connected to Nia's Book, I'm not sure of using them again will work other than for the sake of convenience.

Speaking of Battlelogs, the Spirit Pledge game is now about to be shut down permanently (5 days left at the time of writing this); does anyone still want to see the archived images and stuff I managed to save up? There is my discord and Twitter, which is in my profile; and to be honest, I'm not sure mere text can truly describe these character designs.

I've scoured the entire Internet to see if anyone else saved these, but I think I'm the only one who was smart enough to save them. There is a Wiki for Spirit Pledge but it's both outdated and abandoned. I've even saved the Mayuri Judgement event that let you play through that story, have not found a single video on it.

Just let me know. If one of us ever leaves fanfiction, this could be your last chance.
