"That's it," Cat's eyes gleamed as Marinette squirted whipped cream into her hot cocoa mug. "Have a big dollop." "Ready for yours, Kitty?" Marinette giggled. Cat nodded, watching the cold, creamy goodness top his hot chocolate. Suddenly, Marinette's finger slipped. "Oops! I'm all covered in whipped cream!"

"I can help with that!" Cat leaned forward, trying to lick her cheek with his tongue. "Kitty, your tongue is like sandpaper! Now, let's go watch the movie!"

Cat sighed happily as he followed Marinette upstairs. Now, this was a way to spend a Friday night. "I still can't believe you've never seen the Polar Express," Marinette looked at him, as she took out a very soft looking pink blanket from her chest. "Hey, I'm busy," Cat protested. "Doing what? Napping?" she teased back. "I'll have you know, Princess, that my sunspot only comes in your room like twice a day. And I need to save damsels in distress, do I not?"

Marinette cuddled up to him, putting the blanket around their shoulders. "I'll have to remember that if my pizza gets cold. You can be my knight in shining leather."

Oh, was there anything else in the world this Cat needed or wanted? No, he had everything right here. Cat's eyes danced in the light of the screen, as he fell in love with the movie. After pizza, they were both feeling warm and sleepy and he felt Marinette cuddle up to him. "Do you ever dream of going to the North Pole, Kitty?"

"Hm, more like a warm tropical island, where you can pluck fresh fruit right off the tree." "That sounds wonderful." Cat paused the movie, turning Marinette's face towards him with a gentle finger. "Maybe one day will go together, Princess. Just you and me…." his voice lowered as he leaned towards her, pressing a soft kiss to her lips.

"Who wants cookies?" Mama Cheng opened the door. "Cookies? Meow!" Marinette giggled, and her mother winked at her as she set the plate down. "Enjoy."

Cat unpaused the movie, reaching for a cookie. "Pause the movie again." Curious, Cat did so. Marinette snorted as she held up a cookie to Cat, watching his gremlin green eyes follow it. "You want the cookie, Cat? Do you...ow!" Cat, in his excitement had accidentally chomped her finger. "I'm not a cookie, you dork! Here!" Marinette shoved the cookie in his mouth, bursting out in laughter at the surprised but derpy look on his face.

Oh, this feline. She loved him, cookies or not, and Cat felt the exact same way.
