Loud in Time

Chapter 1

Matter of Time

Yeah. I've been watching a lot of Doctor Who again. But rather than trying to write a fic about the Oncoming Storm, I decided to do this little episodic fic. But, Lincoln will be aware of the Doctor, Torchwood, etc. Now then... Let's kick it up!

Down in the basement of the Loud House a white haired boy clad in an orange polo, the dead middle child of the family, Lincoln Loud was standing alone while doing tricks with a yoyo in a vain attempt to stave off boredom. Just then, a brunette girl wearing a white shirt, yellow skirt, and pink flower came down the stairs with a blonde girl with a cyan tank top and brown shorts, Lincoln's sisters Luan and Lori.

'Oh you've got to be kidding me.' Lincoln thought as he looked over to his sisters. "So can I go back my room or is Leni taking up residence there?" Lincoln asked in an annoyed tone that neither sister seemed to pick up on.

The previous few days had not been easy for Lincoln. His two oldest sisters had gotten in to a fight over both of them buying the same style of dress they had both been told was 'one of a kind.' This fight had the entire house go in to the 'Sister Fight Protocol'. This had the effect of having the two sisters taken in to rooms to cool off. Though for whatever, the other sisters would choose areas where Lincoln would be. Including his own bedroom.

"Well, Lori's out. But the twins ended up getting in to a fight so Lana had to take your room." Luan explained, gaining a roll from her brothers eyes. "Don't worry. They'll cool down soon." She said what little strand of Lincoln's calmer nature snapping at that comment.

"Oh yeah. Because that worked so well with Leni and this moron!" Lincoln shouted before Lori turned to him.

"What did you just say, you little twerp!?" Lori asked, in an angry tone, Lincoln not backing down.

"Three days of this crap, Lori. Three days of nearly coming to blows with Leni over a dress. Let me ask you a question. Did it ever cross your mind to check the time on the receipts to end this right away?" Lincoln asked asked before he noticed a slight wince on Luan's face. "Oh my god. You already checked the time and you're still pulling this?" He asked, practically feeling his blood heating up.

"I don't care what a stupid piece of paper says. Leni should back down because I'm..." Lori was trying to say before Lincoln cut her off.

"No! No! I have heard that 'I'm the oldest.' bs from you for years as an excuse for you selfish and bossy and I am done with it. You wanna try holding being the first born as a badge of honor? Then how about you actually grow up and for once in your life, stop acting spoiled... little... br..." Lincoln ranted before Lori snapped and punched him in the face before picking him up and throwing in to a tarped up object.

Suddenly, the device under the tarp began to grow before a strange portal opened up, the forced of it sucking up everything in the area, Lori and Luan were quick to grab on to the stairs as the force of the portal increased, Lincoln trying to get to them. But before he could make it to them, he lost his footing and was sucked inside before the portal.

The two sisters stood there for several moments in frozen shock before the fact of what had just happened.

"Lincoln! Oh my god! Lincoln!" Lori shouted as she ran to to the ring like arch her brother had been sucked in to while Luan ran upstairs for help, moments later, returning with a young brunette wearing classes and a green sweater, the second youngest of the Loud siblings, the four year old Lisa.

"How did you activate the device?" Lisa asked as she went to work at a keyboard.

"I... we were..." Lori was trying to say.

"Lori! You have to calm down. I need to know what happened if we're going to get Lincoln ba... Lisa was saying before the three sisters heard a wheezing sound.

They then turned around to see a silver cylinder appear in and vanish before stopping with the sound of a bong. The doors of the cylinder then slowly opened to reveal... Lincoln. Though he looked older with his hair coming down to his shoulders and was now wearing a long sleeved orange shirt, brown cargo pants, dark brown boots and a dark brown aviator jacket.

"Woah! I'm back here! Lori. Lisa. Luan. You three haven't changed a bit! Oh wait. Duh. Time machine." Lincoln said before walking over to his shocked sisters.

"Lincoln? What? How?" Lori asked, sputtering through each of her words.

"I'd love to explain. But I'm actually kinda here on work. Lisa, can I borrow your tablet for a second?" Lincoln asked before a still shocked Lisa handed said device to Lincoln before he pulled out a white square pen with a black arch design on the sides and going over a button and a half wheel switch, and a yellow diamond shaped jewel on top held on the sides. "And there we go. Earth wifi is crap. Thank me later." He said after pressing the button as the gem glowed and a strange noise was heard from the pen.

"Lincoln?" Luan asked as her brother went in to work mode.

"Alright. Check missing persons, cross reference the time frame." Lincoln said while typing at rapid speed.

"Lincoln? Lisa asked as the white haired boy continued his work.

"Nope. That's not working. Wait a minute. Maybe add in people you'd expect to die like... oh no." Lincoln said, his voice getting silent in worry.

"Lincoln!" Lori shouted, finally getting her brother to look at her and their sisters. "What the hell is going on?" She asked.

"Right. Sorry. Bullet points. I'm after a fugitive and... Pop Pop might be in trouble." Lincoln said, gaining shocked looks from the others. "Lori, grab the van keys and meet me outside." He said before running upstairs.

"Um... Okay. I'm going with him. You show everyone else what happened on the cameras." Lori said before she ran up to follow Lincoln.

A short time later, Lori was driving Lincoln through the streets of Royal Woods as Lincoln continued to look at the tablet.

"Dang it. These reports don't have any info about the how these people died. I don't know what we're dealing with." Lincoln said with a frustrated tone.

"Wait. What do you mean what you're dealing with. You said you were after a fugitive." Lori pointed out.

"Yeah. How to break this?" Lincoln asked, thinking for a moment before deciding to rip the band-aid. "The fugitive is an alien." He said.

"Wait. What!? How the hell did you end up dealing with aliens?" Lori asked, doing her best to keep her eyes on the road.

"You saw the time machine. Well it's also a spaceship. I do odd jobs from time to time and one of those is bounty hunting." Lincoln explained somewhat before they arrived. The two of them then got out of the car before Lori tried to hand Lincoln a golf club. "No that's for you, I already have stuff to help me in a fight." He said before they ran up to the locked door of the Sunset Canyon retirement home.

"How are we gonna get in?" Lori whispered before Lincoln took out his pen and positioned the gem just above the lock before activating it and unlocking the door. "Okay. What is that thing?" She asked.

"Sonic Pen. Best tool a guy can ask for." Lincoln said before flipping the pen and putting it back in his jacket pocket before opening the door. "Okay. Stay down, stay quiet, and stay alert." He whispered whispered before the two of them began moving throw the halls.

Suddenly, Lori heard a noise coming from the pool room, the two siblings nodded to each other before they went slowly opened the room, Lincoln pulling a yo-yo out of his pocket before the two quickly moved in to the room.

"Oh good lord!" Lincoln said in a mix of shock and sickness as he startled those in the pool his grandfather, Albert and sort of grandmother, Myrtle.

"Lincoln? What in the world happened to you?" Al asked.

"Never mind that. Please tell us you two aren't..." Lori tried to say but was was too grossed out to do so.

"No. We were just swimming. Good to keep our health up." Myrtle said, much to Lori's relief.

"Oh thank god. The last thing I needed today was more trauma." Lori said before Lincoln took notice something.

"Yeah. Avoiding that might be a problem." Lincoln said as the others looked to see a woman in a nurses uniform.

"Oh. Sue. Sorry, I guess we didn't hear the curfew alarm." Al said in attempt to charm his way.

"We'll see them back to their room." Lori said before the nurse raised her finger at Lori, Lincoln quickly taking action and tacking his sister to the ground as a bone like dart shot out of Sue's finger.

"Pop Pop! Gran Gran! Out of the pool!" Lincoln called before he let his yo-yo drop for him to use as a flail and rushed at Sue who dodged Lincolns attack before trying to slam her fist down on Lincoln, only to miss and crack the floor leaving her open for Lori to attack with her golf club.

Sue then looked angrily at the eldest Loud, part of her face missing and showing greed skin and a large black eye underneath. Lincoln then took the moment of the woman's distraction to throw his yo-yo up as it wrapped around a light which he then pulled down to knock Sue to the ground.

"Come on. That's not going to keep her down long." Lincoln said as he grabbed the dart and ushered his sister and grandparents out of the pool room and used his Sonic Pen to mess with the lock to keep Sue trapped as long as the door could hold.

"Okay. What was that? What happened to Sue?" Al asked after they had gotten several rooms away.

"That wasn't Sue." Lincoln said as he began to run the Sonic Pen over the dart. "An alien killed her and took her place so it could kill more people without being noticed."

"Perfect and I haven't had time to get of my weapons moved here." Myrtle said, the other looking at her. "I did wet work for a group in the UK that dealt with aliens in the 80s." She explained.

"Unit or Torchwood?" Lincoln asked.

"Unit." Myrtle confirmed. "So, what kind of alien are we dealing with?" She asked.

"No clue. Several governments have been after this killer for a while, this dart here is the first thing anyone's found to narrow the species down." Lincoln said as he went back to scanning.

"Maybe this will help. I managed to cut her face really bad." Lori said.

"See? Two Iron. Best club to bring to a fight." Lincoln said with a playful point to the golf club, Lori laughing a little.

"Yeah. Anyway, the skin under that was green and she had this black bug eye." Lori said before Lincoln began to think.

"Wait a minute. Green skin. Black eyes. Toxic dart from the finger." Lincoln listed off.

"Did she also smell like morning breath once the skin was broken?" Myrtle asked, Lori thinking for a moment.

"Now that you mention it, yeah." Lori said before Lincoln snapped his finger and he and Myrtle looked to each other.

"A raxacoricofallapatoriun." Lincoln and Myrtle said in sync.

"Okay. We know what we're fighting. But how does that help?" Lori asked.

"Sometime, knowing what you're fighting, tells you how to fight it." Al said, gaining a nod from Lincoln.

"And thankfully, this is one of those times. We need to make our way to the kitchen." Lincoln said, gaining a nod from the others.

As luck would have it, the alien, which had cased off the human disguise to reveal a massive green alien and broke out of the pool room, had gone down the hallway opposite hallway to the kitchen, allowing Lincoln and the others to quickly and quietly move to the their destination with little issue.

"Okay. What do we need in here?" Al asked while Lincoln and Myrtle began looking around.

"We need some vinegar." Myrtle said.

"No. No. We need citrus. Vinegar would kill her." Lincoln said, to the confusion of the others.

"Is she worth more alive or something." Lori asked before Lincoln looked back at her.

"No. I just don't like killing. I do everything I can not to do it." Lincoln said in a matter of fact tone that got a twinge of pride from his grandparents.

"Here we go. Lemonade." Lincoln said before tossing a spray bottle and placing the pitcher on the table and pointed his Sonic Pen at it. The sugar than sank to the bottom and the lemon juice and water separated. "Okay start poring, stop when you reach the water." He instructed before Lori did just that.

"So what n..." Lori began to asked as a whole was clawed through the door. "Oh man. What do I do?" She asked while Lincoln pulled out his yo-yo.

"I'll hold her. You spray." Lincoln instructed as the alien broke through the door. Lincoln was quick to roll to the side and wrap his yo-yo around her hands to bind them. Lori then ran up with the spray bottle and all but doused the alien causing her to fall over, unable to move. "What'd I tell ya? Citrus. Acts as a powerful numbing toxin to them. Let's get her to the roof." He said while grabbing the alien's shoulders and signaling for Lori to grab her legs.

A short while later, the siblings and their grandparents were on top of Sunset Canyon's roof, Lincoln holding a small device in his hand. Suddenly, a small squad of rhino headed aliens appeared.

"Bo sho to yo co ko mo fo." The leader of the aliens said as Lincoln stepped forward.

"No bo sco rrro vo do po ho." Lincoln said as he pointed at the paralyzed alien. Two of the other aliens went to pick her up as the leader pointed a device out to Lincolns own. "Maho." He said

"Do wo ko." The lead alien said before all the aliens teleported away.

"She'll be extradited back to Raxacoricofallapatorius. The planetary prosecutor there really loves earth. She'll make sure she answers for her crimes." Lincoln explained to the others.

"Well that's good to hear." Lori said, relieved that they had arrived before Al and Myrtle were added to that number. "Now that that's out of the way. Maybe we could talk about what happened." She suggested.

"Yeah. I guess some explaining to do. But I'd rather explain to everyone. Come on." Lincoln said, gesturing for them to follow him. Once they were down at the van, Lori tried to open the door only to be stopped. "Nonono. We'll take my ride this time." Lincoln said as he pulled out a key with L shaped keys and pointing his Sonic Pen at it. The four of them then heard the wheezing of Lincoln's ship as they and the van were inside of a large room with navy gym mat floor, matte silver walls with dekagonal patterns pulsing in orange, a carpeted stair case leading up to a hallway, and in the center of the room surround by four columns, two marble and two was a circular console with four main parts and all sorts of tech and in the center of that floated two vertically spinning rings that had several balls moving in and out of the rings in circular motions.

"This is a TARDIS. You have a TARDIS!" Myrtle said, barely able to keep in her amazement.

"You bet I do." Lincoln said with a smirk. "Okay, if I programmed it right," He mumbled to himself as he looked over on a line of buttons labeled from one to six and pressed the one button. The rings and orbs then began to move faster before the wheezing of the engines could be heard again, signaling they were off to their destination.

Well, there you go guys. I really hope you enjoyed this, I had so much fun writing it and really hope it takes off. Also, I would love to hear your ideas of what places you'd like Lincoln to go in his TARDIS. Until then and as always... Keep on keeping on.
