Crossing off a planet from the galaxy in a war would seem to be something important. The planet would have an army to gaze at, one that would stretch for miles to create a battlefield to strike fear into you. They would throw as many techniques as possible if given the chance, providing a technical prowess that you could admire. In these moments you would feel many things. The fear that followed each silent moment, the satisfaction from being the one to cause the silence, and the adrenaline to see another army rush you down. Despite all of it, it was a mere attempt to feel alive, and an exciting escape from reality that soon fell back into reality for the dominator of the universe. Boros.
Boros was the dominator of the cosmos, able to destroy moons and nations to the horrors of her opponents, which only terrified them even more when they realized that she can revive herself from almost any injury and power herself to a level beyond those of living flesh. She had the strength of a god, yet the it was a curse in disguise. Nothing could make her feel fear, or even harm her. Even with suits to limit herself, her opponents would die in a minute tops. As the time passed this would cause the worst kind of pain, no pain. No struggle, no will, nothing. It was agonizing, making each second last just a little bit too long to the point where Boros would question her state of being. It was a disease that is killing her, over and over again. She needed to feel something, anything. If it meant using stars as a personal bathing area or being left behind when a planet explodes, as long as she felt something it would be worth the struggle. As odd as those sounded, the passage of time made the unthinkable more of a reality. But to be fair, there was an option she never had considered.
1 week later
Geryuganshoop moved swiftly passed the corridors, his tentacles sliding across the metallic floor. An order from his ruler, especially one that requested a private interaction was exceedingly rare. What only made it more out of the ordinary was the request to be on a desolate planet. To be on something so useless? Her silence and monotone nature only made the urgent call terrifying, so the earlier the entrance the odds of being penalized would decrease.
He arrived at the main door to her throne room, waiting for it to open. The door opened slowly, revealing the dominator waiting in her throne patiently. The master of telekinesis gulped, stepping forward slowly to await the issue at hand.
"Geryuganshoop," she started, "I need help, one which you're abilities will provide it's greatest use."
"Yes my lord, and what would that information be?" Geryuganshoop asked, perking his head up. Boros soon walked down the staircase, descending to be on the same level as him. Each step providing a metallic sound that rung through the room.
"I have been struggling as of the past few years, to which you're quite familiar with," she started, "nothing has worked to fulfill my need for a battle, and this has left me to an indescribable torture within every fiber of my being."
"Yes, I understand. What do you suggest that I do? Any idea or problem for my intellect to pick apart?" Geryuganshoop asked.
"I need to fight you," she claimed.
Geryuganshoop's eyes widened, his posture crumbling at the words. "WHAT?! Have you gone mad?!" He yelled.
Boros put a hand on her forehead, walking a little closer to Geryuganshoop. "Yes," Boros admitted, "I need a fight, one to challenge me, make me feel anything. While I know you can't do much, but as my second in command and strongest ally I hope that something can be achieved with this. I won't be fatal with my attacks, only dishing out ones equal to yours. Understand?"
Geryuganshoop took in a breath of air, trying to keep his cool. Sweat was already running down his forehead, making audible noises as they hit the floor. He couldn't do what was essentially a suicide mission. He was a weak scoundrel, a bug! He mustered up the words out of his shaky breath, "I, I don't...can't-"
"Please," Boros whispered, to which Geryuganshoop went silent towards. He looked at her eye, seeing something that screamed in agony yet was dead. It was too painful to simply look at, to which it made Geryuganshoop curse himself under his breath.
"Alright my lord, I will on two conditions. The contents of this room can be used as my projectile, and that the armor stays on. We got that clear?"
Boros nodded, getting into a ready stance. Geryuganshoop closed his eyes, taking in the area around them. The room was indescribably big, with giant pillars supporting the ceiling. With Boros' speed this can be prove to be useful. He opened his eyes, lifting the pieces of the floor below him.
"It is time!" Boros yelled, charging at Geryuganshoop. He intercepted the blow with a barrier, to the surprise of the both of them. Even though the cracks showed upon contact it was still intact. A potential challenger. Something can be worth a fight. Yes it took a limiting armor, but it was SOMETHING. Boros smirked, charging up another punch to barrier. Geryuganshoop went back a few meters and used the pieces of floor as projectiles. He had to get in a hit at least.
"Take this!" He yelled, throwing the pieces moved at near light speeds, heading for Boros' legs. She gasped, not expecting such blistering speed. It was already made more difficult by her armor, clunky for the sake of making fighting more interesting, yet in this case it made things difficult. She dashed from side to side, avoiding the projectiles before hopping onto a pillar. Geryuganshoop's eyes trying to gathering more projectiles as he dashed to a different nearby pillar. Boros smirked, before launching herself to tackle him. Geryuganshoop shrieked, combining his projectiles and slamming Boros in the face with them. Unfortunately, all this did was slow Boros down as she crashed onto where Geryuganshoop would've been. As her fist collided with the ground, she looked up and to find no one. He was hiding, but before she could say anything she was surrounded by debris circling around her, creating a small storm that was a few meters wide. She smirked, albeit not too impressed with the fight so far.
He managed to take a hit, but could he hurt her? The answer was given to her with a condensed piece of shrapnel hitting Boros right in the eye. She yelled out loud, closing her eye before getting into a defensive position to protect herself from the barrage of shrapnel from all directions.
"My telepathic abilities can do more than just lift things. I can condense these materials to create fiery bullets! Ha! My lord am I actually putting up a fight?!" He asked, almost shocked that he wasn't already streak of blood on the wall.
Boros chuckled before slamming her fists on the floor to remove the storm cloud around her. Based on his voice, he was hiding near the ceiling, so she leaped into the air, climbing up the pillar. Geryuganshoop's face went a little pale, but it soon turned into a smirk as he slammed her into the ceiling at high speeds. To his dismay, she expected this. Boros landed on the ceiling with her feet, before leaping onto Geryuganshoop. The octopus screamed, a sharp sense of pain going through his body. They were falling to the floor, but Boros was able to get in two punches while keeping a tight hold on Geryuganshoop. They hurt, like a train to the face, but he was able to squirm out with his tentacles and launch Boros to the floor, breaking his falling by grabbing onto the pillar. This time, when she tried to bounce back, he caved the floor to throw off her balance.
Boros, the dominator of the universe, fell clumsily onto her back, giving Geryuganshoop the opportunity to crush her within the floor. Boros was smothered by the floor, before breaking out with not much difficultly. Luckily Geryuganshoop predicted this, and decided to throw a massive attack with the time given. He removed a large chunk of the pillar they were previously on, breaking them into spears. These spears were then condensed before being launched at Boros, to which she could only block. The spears exploded on contact, creating large blasts that covered Boros. These attacks actually hurt her, causing actual pain to her. While it was nothing deadly, they created small cuts on her face and legs. She smirked at this new sense, before jumping up into the air. Geryuganshoop took extra spears and sent them back up, but Boros dodged them in the air and attacked with a barrage of kicks to him, to which he set up his psychic barriers to. Unfortunately Boros smashed his barrier, and launched him to another pillar.
Geryuganshoop blinked a few times, letting the pain sink in. It hurt, a true pain that he couldn't articulate. Boros was simply too strong, a true might despite her power limiting armor. Despite that, he knew he could do something, that's what his lord said. He had to give it his all, and he will.
Geryuganshoop started to sweat intensely, using a chunk of the pillar Boros was on to launch her to the other side of the room. He then focused on the now withered pillar, focusing all of his energy onto it. The pillar started to budge slightly, with the sound of debris falling from it. Boros got up and looked to see the massive pillar move, tilting to face her. She smiled and ran towards it, with Geryuganshoop doing the same as he threw the entire pillar at her. Boros yelled, actually getting a fight. It was a fight only because she's at her weakest, but it was a fight. She felt alive as she charged this punch, she felt real. Geryuganshoop was similarly ecstatic. This was a fight he would never have expected, but it made him feel crazy, wild even.
Boros jumped at the pillar, finally punching as hard as she could with her armor, and when they created contact a loud explosion rang throughout the room, which sent shockwaves throughout the entire ship. Debris fell everywhere, with dust filling the room.
Boros stood up, observing her surroundings. There was no one easily visible. But there was something she could feel. Boros gasped, moving her right hand. The armor on her right hand was gone, her smooth skin being viable. It survived so long and it was now broken. She laughed out loud, in actual amazement to what happened. She had a real fight! An actual fight! It was a miracle, a feeling she longed for, but it was cut short when she heard wheezing. Boros paused, returning to reality.
"Geryuganshoop?" She asked, looking around. The noise was faint, almost smothered. Thinking quickly, she moved some of the rubble from where she was to reveal a tentacle. Her eye widened as it clicked in her head.
"Geryuganshoop!" Boros yelled. She quickly got more rubble off of him and got a full look at him. He was severely injured, with cuts all over his body and blood coming out of his mouth. Geryuganshoop opened his eyes a little, before coughing. He placed a tentacle onto Boros' back and used it to stand up. Everything stung, with a sharp pain with every careless move. "Are you alright?" She asked.
"Mostly," he wheezed, "I am intelligent enough to know when I might die, this is not one of them. Nothing some rest can't fix."
The master of telekinesis looked at Boros a little more closely before gasping.
"My lord, your armor..." he pointed. Boros looked and smirked at his reaction.
"Yes, the battle was well fought. You've proven yourself to be my second in command for a reason," she relayed, "but that's not important at the moment. Please, let me escort your room personally. I'll have this mess cleaned up. You deserve it." She gestured to the door to which Geryuganshoop looked at. Yeah, it seems like now it was a good time to relax.
