Suddenly the door to the room opens and her husband enters. He seemed to be quite anxious and had run a little. However, she didn't notice the man had arrived and he almost didn't notice the woman was in the room.
– Dear... Monica? – called the man, as he got closer to her.
As if waking up from a trance, she turned to her husband and hugged him as if they hadn't seen each other for days.
– Honey, I'm glad you're here...
– Hey... Is everything okay? – he asked jokingly.
– Yes it is. I just have a few things on my mind.
– Honey, it's not going to start again.
– No, Wendell. Not again. You know it's not crazy of me...
– I know, I know, darling. I just don't think you need to worry, at least for now. After all, what is missing in our lives?
- I do not know how to explain. I just think something is missing.
The man sighed, apparently having had that conversation several times, and then tried to change the subject.
- Let's do something. Let's leave that for later. Today we are going out to dinner. What do you think? Let's celebrate.
– Celebrate?... What? – asked the woman, frowning, trying to understand what her husband meant.
– I'll tell you at the restaurant.
- All good. I mean... I think it won't hurt to eat something different. – she said, trying to smile.
- That's the spirit. – the husband was happy, leaving his wife's embrace and heading to the bathroom. – I'm going to take my shower...
– And I'm going to prepare our clothes. – she said, trying to show excitement.
When he closed the bathroom door, the man leaned against it and, alone, began to feel a strange sadness. He understood perfectly what his wife was feeling because he felt the same way too. But how do you know? They had moved there about a year ago and lived very happily. They knew it was what they always wanted. How would he know what was missing in their lives? How could he help his wife if he couldn't even help himself? With his head down, he searched for answers. He was only interrupted by a knock on the door. It was the woman, asking him which shirt he wanted to wear with his suit.
– The blue one with the pearly buttons, darling. – He shouted out, responding to her. And suddenly, he remembered why he was in the bathroom. Soon, he provided his own bath.
There was a girl sitting in the garden of a modest crooked house. She looked at the stars that night as nostalgic thoughts ran through her head. It could be said that Hermione Granger was happy. Her best friend, Harry Potter, had defeated Lord Voldemort and was fine, despite all the injuries and the movements of the people around him. She could also tell that she was finally dating the person she wanted most in life, Ron Weasley, although she was slow to admit it to herself. It's true that she didn't forget the friends she lost in that process, but even so, she felt good. Many Death Eaters and wizards linked to Voldemort's ideas were arrested and would gradually be tried. Even though it was broken, the world of magic was free again and she knew that she had contributed to it. But there was still a plan left to be completed in her life. She had promised to meet her parents again soon after they finished the "Horcruxes hunt" and remove the spell that made them believe they were not her parents. And that, she was more than willing to do.
Ron, after noticing Hermione was missing from the small party the Weasleys were throwing that night, appeared in the garden and found his beloved sitting on a fallen log. Without saying a word, he sat down next to her and hugged her affectionately, which Hermione reciprocated. They both felt the peace of the moment; They knew they wouldn't need words. They stayed hugged for a long time looking at the stars of a night that seemed unique, seemed magical. It took a while for Hermione to break the silence in that place.
– I need to go after them, Ron. – She said sadly, when she turned to the boy.
- Your parents? – he asked and only received a nod in response.
- I'll go with you. I want to accompany you on this "mission". – he said smiling, in a joking tone, which made the girl smile back, grateful for her boyfriend's goodwill. Hermione placed her head on the boy's shoulders and the two hugged each other even tighter to go back to contemplating the night of beautiful stars in the sky.
