My first Crossover story where Pokémon isn't the main focus, something new, but I hope it does a good job.
Before they start reading. Some warnings.
Firstly, English is not my native language. I write in Portuguese and later translate it into English, so please be understanding with possible limitations in writing and some formatting errors that may occur, I try my best within my limitations.
Second, I will considerably change the events that begin this story, some characters who died in the original work will not be dead at the beginning of my story, everything has a purpose, and I will do my best to do justice to such changes.
Third, it's a crossover that will delve into a few different works, and not all of them will have the same degree of depth, be aware of that. Most likely this story will end in something similar to a harem, but don't get me wrong, it's not something I'm going to do forcefully. Honestly, I'm going to try to play with this cliché idea to try to make something unique.
And finally, I can't promise frequent updates. I will write as inspired and hope to make something worth reading.
Thank you for reading my story and I hope you enjoy it.
When did everything become so chaotic? The attack on Beacon marked the day the world changed, where one of humanity's greatest landmarks perished thanks to the machinations of people with so much greed and hate in their hearts, they would do anything to get what they want.
Revenge, fame, money, respect, everything was within limits if it was necessary to achieve one of these goals.
And this led to the moment when Cinder Fall was about to land the final blow on Pyrrha Nikos.
In countless destinies, Cinder would succeed and put an end to Pyrrha's life, but like everything in the universe, there is always something that can stop the course of destiny.
A leaf that falls a few seconds before the correct moment can cause a tsunami, the so-called 'butterfly effect' may seem ridiculous, but it would certainly be the most plausible explanation for what was about to happen.
Jaune wasn't supposed to arrive in time to help his friend and teammate, but somehow he managed to overcome all the difficulties, arriving at the destroyed battlefield where Cinder was preparing to end her best friend's life.
The only person who believed in his potential.
The one who reached out when even he didn't believe in himself.
And the only woman who saw anything in Jaune other than a pathetic wannabe hunter.
"Do you believe in destiny?" Pyrrha asked her executioner, helpless but not intending to show any fear for what was about to happen. Cinder didn't like what she saw, and summoned her bow, ready to end this fight.
What happened next occurred in slow motion. Jaune doesn't have a speed-based semblance, but something moved him at supernatural speed, a blast of white aura that destroyed the place where his feet were resting. In less than a second, he had reached his destination, standing between the arrow and his friend.
And the sound of an arrow piercing flesh echoed in the air.
The attacker and the victim remained silent, unable to imagine how Jaune arrived in time. Cinder backed away and kept her distance from the unknown element, but when she recognized who the person was, she began to laugh.
With a hand over her mouth, barely containing herself at the sight of the 'opponent' before her, Cinder looked contemptuously at Jaune. "Of all people, do you think you have a chance? Who would have thought that the 'invincible girl' would depend on the biggest loser I've ever met to try and survive."
Jaune couldn't say anything, his mouth dripping with blood. He had been hit in the heart, and his consciousness was quickly fading.
It took Pyrrha a while to realize what had happened, but when she saw who saved her, she opened her mouth in shock, but when she saw the arrow in Jaune's heart, she could only do one thing.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH or A desperate scream, a mixture of pain and anguish echoed through the heavens, because in her only defeat, Pyrrha lost her best friend.
Jaune heard Pyrrha's scream, but was unable to say anything with his throat full of blood, his vision darkened, and he accepted that he was going to die.
But it was worth it.
If it were to save her, Jaune would embrace death without any regret.
...
...
...
"Jaune..." a disembodied voice called to him, and when Jaune opened his eyes, he was standing in the same place he died without understanding. Looking around, he didn't immediately find the source of the voice, but he saw something that made his blood run cold.
It was Pyrra, holding her dying body as she cried, and before her was Cinder prepared to launch another attack. In the distance Jaune saw team RWBY approaching at high speed, but something wasn't right.
Why was no one moving?
Why was everything so silent?
And why was everything grayish?
"What the hell is happening?" Jaune asked himself, and then felt a shiver run down his spine. Something was watching him, how does he know? He doesn't have an explanation.
But something inside him tells him that the creature watching him is at an insurmountable level.
"Jaune, we finally met." A voice called him again, but it was no longer disembodied, it was in a feminine tone, but it wasn't someone he knew. Turning around, in front of him was a girl similar in height to Ruby, with blonde hair falling to her neck, blood red eyes, and frighteningly pale skin. Her outfit was a white dress with a black tunic decorated in gold covering her. In her right hand she holds an apple while looking at him with an expressionless face.
Scratching the back of his head without understanding what was happening, all he could do was be polite, she didn't seem to mean any harm, so she didn't deserve any rough treatment. "I know you? Sorry, but I don't think this is the best time for a conversation, I need to save my friend she..."
The girl interrupted him, approaching and placing a hand on Jaune's chest, exactly where he had been hit by the arrow. "You are dead, the dead must not interfere in the affairs of the living." The girl's words brought him reality, he was dead.
And Cinder was about to kill her best friend.
Clenching his fists he shook his head in denial. "No! I refuse to die, not while that bitch wants to kill Pyrrha, I can't let anything happen to her!" The girl looked at Pyrrha, and then at Jaune, and a small smile adorned her pale face.
"Death." She said a single word, catching Jaune's attention.
When he looked at the girl, his blood ran cold. Behind her, a huge skull in black robes holding a scythe hovered, its eyes glowing the same reddish hue as the girl's eyes.
He was dead.
Death itself was before him.
Fear was the first thing Jaune felt, but the fear was quickly replaced by anger and determination.
Summoning all the courage he had left, Jaune took a step towards death, and faced it with not an ounce of fear. "No matter what happens to me, I don't care if I go to hell or something even worse, I won't let anything stop me."
An unimaginable pressure made him kneel, Death watched him with his expressionless face. "I have existed since before creation, before the universe first pulsed, and never before has a mortal dared to defy my decree. Why should I allow you to interfere in the fate of the living...Jaune Arc?"
The pressure was overwhelming, never before had Jaune felt anything like it, but he wasn't going to give up, he slowly crawled towards Death, and gathering all the strength he didn't know he possessed, he supported himself on his knees, and slowly stood up. "I have nothing, but I won't let my friend die at the hands of that monster!" His scream made Death's eyes widen, but then he approached, and smiled again.
But this time it wasn't a small smile...no...it was the most beautiful smile Jaune had ever seen in his life.
"Jaune Arc, I have witnessed the birth and fall of worlds, gods and demons. Countless creatures infinitely stronger than you, and none of them had the determination to stand before me." She placed a hand on Jaune's cheek and faced him, looking directly into his eyes. "Would you do anything for the chance to save your friend?"
"...Yes, I'll do anything." Death stared at him for a few seconds, and then bit the apple he was holding. The action left Jaune confused, but nothing prepared him for what would happen next.
Death, death itself personified before him, kissed him. Jaune's eyes widened in disbelief at what was happening, his body acted of its own accord, he hugged the girl before him and deepened the kiss. Death made her swallow the small piece of apple she had bitten off. The kiss only lasted a few seconds, and when they both pulled away, Death had a beautiful smile on his face with slightly red cheeks.
"I have never met such a bright soul before. All things will come to an end Jaune, even me. But I refuse to let such a beautiful flame go out prematurely. The dead should not interfere in the world of the living, but I will make an exception." Jaune was embarrassed, he hadn't kissed anyone in his life, and even if it was Death himself who kissed him, it doesn't change the fact that she's a beautiful girl...it sounded weird, but he didn't care.
Death looked at the boy and blushed again. "I can see what you're thinking…"
And the moment that was supposed to be dark became something close to a cheap romantic comedy.
The life, or death, of Jaune Arc is not at all ordinary.
Scratching the back of his head in embarrassment, he said the only thing he could. "...sorry."
Death, who was supposed to be intimidating and imposing, pouted and hit him on the head with his hand. "Don't apologize…I wasn't offended." In a quick change of heart, Death became serious again and pointed his finger at Cinder. "I will give you the chance to save your friend, and during this battle the full potential of your soul will be unlocked. But don't forget Jaune, you're still dead, and your soul is mine. The price for interfering in the world of the living is high, and as payment, I want you as my representative. There are many worlds, many different realities threatened with being extinct before the right time, and I cannot allow that to happen, unfortunately, I cannot directly interfere in the world of the living, but you can, as my champion."
To say that such a statement didn't shock Jaune would be an understatement, he was dumbfounded. Different worlds? Champion of Death? This was a lot to take in, but considering WHO was standing before him, none of it is impossible. With a determined look, he nodded. "If that is the price, I accept it without any regret."
Death smiled and in his hand appeared a huge scythe, with a white handle made of bone and a blade so black that even light refused to escape. "Jaune Arc, I claim your soul, and your entire existence, for my purpose. From this day forward, you will walk among the living while representing the dead, today you stop being human, and become my executioner, my representative and my lover. Your soul belongs to me, and as long as you do not waver on the path you have chosen, I will always be by your side." Death swung the scythe and with a perfect blow hit Jaune's heart, but there was no pain whatsoever.
A strange, but not bad feeling took over his body, and Jaune's vision began to darken.
But before his consciousness darkened completely, Death cupped his face with both hands and gave him a chaste kiss. "Go, my champion, show the girl who dared to take her friend's life, what is destined for those who become her enemies. For just as her life is mine, her friends, loves and enemies also belong to me."
Jaune's consciousness faded, but he knew what he had to do.
And he will not fail.
...
...
...
Team RWBY arrived to help Pyrrha in her fight, but they didn't expect to see Jaune Arc running towards the red-haired girl.
He didn't hesitate, and without any fear he stepped in front of the fatal attack, which went through his aura and made him fall into Pyrrha's arms with blood dripping from his mouth and chest. Although all the members of that team were friends with the boy in some way, it was undeniable that he did not give the image of someone who would get into this type of fight.
Yang clenched his fists, even if he was clumsy, "Vomit Boy" didn't deserve to die. He was weak, but he wasn't lazy, he tried to improve himself to be worthy of being the leader of Team JNPR, he was kind and someone Ruby saw as a great friend. But that bitch killed him, and nothing will stop her from sinking Cinder into the ground until there's nothing left but a bloody puddle! Yang's aura burned intensely, she was out for blood, and she wouldn't stop until she got it.
Blake wasn't close to Jaune. He was someone she initially found irritating, but tolerable, and did not antagonize him out of respect for her friends. However, she slowly came to respect him for his commitment to improving as a hunter, and for the fact that he never discriminated against any Faunus. He didn't judge her when he found out she was a former member of the White Fang, and although that may seem superficial, it meant a lot to Blake. And seeing him dead marked her in a way Blake didn't expect. For the first time since Adam, Blake has wished to kill someone, and may the sister gods forgive her, she will fulfill that wish.
Weiss made no secret of the fact that she hated Jaune when she first met him. The boy was annoying, clumsy and insisted for a long time on trying to date her! Who does he think he is? Weiss had self-standards, and she wasn't going to lower herself so easily. But as time passed, she saw that there was more to Jaune than just an annoying boy. He was hardworking, was not afraid to face challenges, and overcame adversity to become a worthy leader for his team. Jaune is the first man she has called a friend, and she wouldn't admit it to anyone, but she was slightly disappointed when Jaune gave up on courting her. As an Atlesian, Weiss had an image to maintain, but learned to respect him as a hunter and friend. And seeing him dead sparked a fury like Weiss had never felt before in her life, Jaune had so much to live for, so many things to accomplish, and that monster took everything from him. Jaune died to save his teammate, he gave his life so that Pyrrha could see a new dawn, and Weiss will not allow anything or anyone to step on his sacrifice.
Ruby knows the feeling of losing someone important. When her mother died, her world felt meaningless, it hurt and she knows it will hurt forever to know that something killed her mother, but seeing Jaune dead while the killer mocks the fact that he sacrificed himself to protect Pyrrha...it left Ruby furious. She's felt angry before, but she's never felt like killing someone, until now. Jaune was her friend, one of her best friends, and now he's gone, just like his mother. In the past, she was young and couldn't avenge her beloved mother, but now her friend's killer is right in front of her, and nothing and NOBODY will stop her from taking revenge.
Pyrrha couldn't believe what happened. Jaune died to save her, and now Cinder was smiling deviously, admiring her work as she prepared to kill her. For years, Pyrrha was revered as the 'invincible girl', but now none of that matters. How much is a title that exalts her 'strength' worth if Jaune had to die to save her? He always had an inferiority complex, but deep down Pyrrha knew that Jaune was someone special, and now she finally found out why. He was someone willing to do anything to protect the important people in his life. He's strong in a way she'll never be, and all Pyrrha wants is the chance to kill Cinder, but with the arrow in her heel, that's just an impossible task.
The inner thoughts of so many different people were interrupted when something unbelievable happened. Jaune's body began to glow in a black tone, a black energy emanated from her body, frightening Cinder.
"What the hell is happening? I killed this brat, why is he still emanating aura?!" She screamed indignantly, and prepared to shoot another arrow and finish the job, but what happened next would haunt her for the rest of her days.
Jaune stood up, shocking everyone, like a damn zombie from the horror movies that Remnant was famous for in the past. Standing, a torrent of black energy shot from her body towards the sky, and immediately the air turned cold, the Grimm that were stalking Beacon bolted in fear, abandoning their attack, and the grimm inside Cinder's eye shivered in fear.
Something was wrong...terribly wrong, and Cinder needed to stop it NOW!
A series of rapid shots came from her bow towards Jaune, and everyone screamed in panic, but they were not prepared for Jaune to somehow summon a black scythe, deflecting the shots with an accuracy that would make Ruby proud at any other time.
Slowly he began to approach Cinder, and she desperately shot arrows. "You damn brat, DIE! I KILLED YOU, WHY DON'T YOU STAY DEAD?!"
Jaune showed a smile and even though blood was dripping from his mouth, he didn't care. "Cinder Fall, you're right, I died, but not even in hell will I let you hurt any of my friends. Look into my eyes, I will seek your soul, no matter how long it takes, I will find you...I WILL HARVEST YOU!" With a blast of black energy at his feet, Jaune shot towards Cinder, who summoned all the aura and magic she could to defend herself, but it was of no use. The scythe passed through his improvised barrier like a hot knife through butter, severing his left arm and much of his stomach.
The sickening sound of the arm falling to the ground echoed across the battlefield, and everyone was silent. And Jaune continued walking slowly towards Cinder, who was panting in despair at the loss of her member, but mostly, in fear.
This 'Jaune' wasn't an unprepared idiot, he's a damn MONSTER! Not even Salem has left her so scared, she needs to run away, damn the maiden's power! It's not worth it if she's dead.
An emergency measure that Cinder never thought necessary was used. With the remainder of her magic, she threw a sphere of energy towards Pyrrha that she was unable to deflect through the wound in her heel. Jaune and Team RWBY immediately went to their friend's defense, and that was the cue for Cinder to run away like a desperate dog.
Jaune shot at high speed and deflected the energy upwards, and the sphere exploded in a huge bang, making the top of the tower shake.
Everyone looked at the jaune with a mix of emotions. But any questions were cut short when his body began to glow in white light.
Using her Semblance, Ruby approached Jaune worriedly. "What is happening?! Why are you glowing?" Although Ruby was quite friendly, he wasn't used to so much worry, and the girl in front of him became even more worried when she noticed that Jaune was slowly becoming transparent.
The time has come to leave.
Jaune placed a hand on Ruby's head and smiled at his friend. "It didn't last long, but thank you for being such a good friend to me, you are strong, don't worry about me, I chose my destiny and I don't regret it."
Looking at the rest of Team RWBY, his smile faded a bit. "That goes for all of you, it means a lot to me that you came to help us. Please take care of Pyrrha, and the rest of my team, I know it's not something you're obligated to do, but it would mean a lot to me."
Everyone wanted to say something, but they couldn't, what was happening went against everything each of them believed possible. And Pyrrha reached out her hand in a futile attempt to reach him.
Jaune's body glowed one last time, and looking at Pyrrha, he spoke one last time. "Thank you Pyrrha...for believing in me." And so, Jaune Arc, leader of Team JNPR, has officially left the world of the living.
All that was left of the JNPR team leader was Crocea Mors and the shield lying on the ground, the final legacy of the one who did everything possible and impossible to protect those who were important in his life.
But he will return, not that his friends know, after all, Death will not let his chosen one have a bad end. He's a hero, and good stories about heroes should have a happy ending.
No matter how far you wander
I will always be watching
For in his final moments an eternal vow was made
Your life was lost, but death is mine
And sacrifice everything for the future of the ones you love
It is something worthy of making you my champion.
Arc 1 – The lights are bright, even in death
Waking up without knowing what is happening has become a common occurrence for Jaune. The first thing he saw when he opened his eyes was a forest, which was strange.
He had expected something after saving Pyrrha, but he wasn't prepared to wake up in an unfamiliar forest. Shaking the dust off his clothes, he let out a sigh he didn't even know was stuck in his throat. "Well, I'll have time to grieve later, I need to know where I am before it gets dark."
Instinctively he reached for the sheath of his weapon, and frowned when he realized that Crocea Mors was no longer with him. "And here's my shitty luck again, I just hope I don't run into any grimm or I'm seriously screwed." Knowing he was vulnerable, Jaune progressed through the forest with more caution.
It took almost an hour to find a way out of the forest, and what Jaune found made his blood run cold.
A city, normally that would be a relief, but what was really scary was the fact that it was completely abandoned!
Huge buildings partially covered in mosses and plants, the roads littered with rubble and no signs of life no matter how far he looked.
A damn ghost town.
He carefully walked around the city looking for someone, and was unsuccessful, the only thing he found was the wreckage of some old rusty machines, it looked like some Atlesian prototype, which was a good sign.
It means he is close to one of the great kingdoms.
The next few hours were exhausting. Walking takes energy, and his stomach started to growl. Tired and needing a place to spend the night, Jaune took shelter in a small abandoned store that looked a little better than the other alternatives for shelter.
The shock of what happened, the coming to terms with death and his current situation, all of this was too much for a single day, and leaning his back against the wall, Jaune fell asleep. A reckless choice, but he wouldn't go much further in his current state, and if he's going to sleep, let it be in a shelter and not in the middle of the street where he would be an even easier target.
When Jaune fell asleep, Death materialized before him and stared at his chosen one for some time, anyone who observed the scene would have no idea what was going on in the mind of the blonde-haired deity.
She reached her hand towards Jaune's head, but pulled back when she felt a foreign presence, pouting. Death placed the apple he was holding in the boy's hand and kissed his forehead. "You will know what I wish to avoid, my champion. Don't worry, I won't let anyone hurt you, but I can't interfere in the world, even if it is a dead world." And just like that, Death disappeared, exactly at the moment the observer spotted Jaune.
On top of a building, a beautiful woman with silver hair that extends to her neck observes a strange android lying on the ground. Her face had a black visor with a cloth-like design covering both eyes. She wears an elegant set of black clothes that do nothing to hide her beauty that borders on the otherworldly. On her back there was a Katana floating with an invisible energy keeping it fixed with the android.
While observing the unknown element, his mind was overwhelmed after having to kill 9S once again.
Why did his programming have to be so cruel?
Fighting for a lie, and killing your partner every time he discovers the truth, only to meet him again without any memory of the past and restart the perpetual cycle of pain, death and betrayal.
All 2B wants is an end, but he knows that's impossible.
"Pod, analyze that android, if it is a deserter I will carry out my assignment." The neutral tone was characteristic of 2B, but it always gets worse when she is forced to do something she doesn't want to do.
Pod 042, or just 'Pod' to 2B, is a tactical support that accompanied him on countless tasks, and although most YoRHa androids treat them as simple tools, Pod was the only constant companion in 2B's life, and she usually does it. would treat it better.
But right now, all she wants most is to find a new task and forget what she was forced to do.
Pod began scanning the Android. When he finished, he started to shake, something strange that worried 2B, was he having a problem with his circuits? It would take time to find replacement parts in the middle of hostile territory.
Before she could speak, Pod interrupted her. "Analysis completed. Carbon-based life form detected. Accessing YoRHa database for additional information...secondary analysis completed. Species successfully identified, male Homo Sapiens. Council of Humanity Omega Protocol Requested." 2B's mouth opened in shock, and she immediately took off her visor, revealing a pair of beautiful, slightly greenish eyes.
"Impossible." Was all she could say. It can't be, humans have become extinct, she's fighting a losing war and the truth should be hidden at all costs. So why did Pod scan that android as a human?
Taking a deep breath, she looked at her companion with intensity. "Scan again." Pod obeyed and after scanning again, turned to the YoRHa android. "New scan completed, confirmed old result, it is a carbon-based living being, Homo Sapiens. Omega Protocol..." 2B didn't wait for his companion to finish and jumped from the building without any hesitation. A crash shattered the ground around her and she didn't care, not when the human was mere feet away.
She needs to reach him, at any cost!
Advancing at high speed, she entered the small abandoned establishment and slowly walked towards the human, afraid that any action would harm him.
Slightly dirty blond hair, a beautiful face, of a young human wearing ancient armor, he was unconscious with his back leaning against the wall. 2B knelt down and reached towards his face, feeling the warm air of his breath, and slightly withdrew his hand.
Gathering her courage, she reached out her hand again, touching the boy's cheek, and when she felt the softness of the flesh, she began to cry.
For that moment proved that all his suffering was not completely useless. Before her stood the species that shaped the androids in their own image, the ones the YoRHa swore to fight eternally for, even after their apparent extinction.
A human has returned.
When that thought reached 2B, programming as old as the emergence of the YoRHa came into action. Standing up, she placed one hand on her chest, and the other behind her back, and a sentence came instinctively into her throat.
"Glory to Humanity!"
The scream woke Jaune, and scared he looked around, finally identifying one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen.
But what really scared him wasn't the scream, it was the fact that she was staring at him with immense intensity with teary eyes. "Uh...hi? If this is your store, I'm leaving. My name is Jaune Arc, nice to meet you." Jaune smiled in embarrassment, he broke into a woman's store, even though it was abandoned that was rude.
What he absolutely did not expect was the said woman looking at his outstretched hand with wide eyes, as if greeting him was an important event.
Okay...this is getting scary.
Standing up, Jaune dusted himself off and prepared to leave. "Sorry…uh…ma'am. I don't know your name, but I think I'll leave, I don't want to bother you and…" Jaune never finished his sentence, as the white-haired woman knelt down and stared at him as if he were the second life of the brother Gods.
"Glory to Humanity. I'm a YoRHa No. 2 Type B Android, or 2B for short. I await your orders, Lord Arc." Jaune's mouth dropped open, what the hell just happened? A beautiful woman kneeling down and treating him as if he were a celebrity... definitely one of the most bizarre moments of his life.
And damn, why can't he stop looking at this woman's cleavage? Get a grip Jaune, your love life may be nonexistent, but you're not desperate.
Well, maybe it's not so non-existent, because he kissed Death, that makes her his girlfriend... right?
Jaune Arc's life was full of emotions, but his death promises to be even more intense.
Meanwhile, Pod finally arrived at 2B's destination, and even though he was a machine devoid of most emotions, his circuits shook in the closest thing to what could be identified as surprise, as it is not every day that a human is encountered.
Beacon survived, but it was not without casualties. Ozpin believed he would die in the confrontation against CInder Fall, but somehow managed to survive. Even though he was cursed with eternal reincarnation, the fact that he is alive means that Beacon can continue his legacy and prepare new hunters and huntresses to defend the world from the threat of the Grimm.
And also continue the eternal war against Salem.
But at this moment, the coalition of Atlas and Vale are protecting and helping to rebuild Beacon, proof of Ironwood's alliance with Ozpin for the common cause, to continue defending humanity.
Unfortunately, Ozpin's next task is not something he enjoys doing. Over the millennia, he has seen countless warriors die prematurely to protect humanity, and no matter how much time passes, it never becomes easy to deal with the death of a promising young man.
And Jaune Arc proved himself as a true hero while everyone believed him to be a failure.
At the entrance to Beacon a statue was built, a tribute to the one who was responsible for saving Beacon, and ensuring that countless future hunters and huntresses can continue to follow in the footsteps of becoming worthy defenders against the Grimm.
Ozpim stood next to the statue, and many of the Beacon students who still remain in Vale were present to participate in the tribute. Tapping his cane on the ground, Ozpin began to speak.
"Students of Beacon, I wish we were reunited in a joyful moment, unfortunately, that is not the truth. We were attacked by a White Fang coalition together with criminals who didn't care about putting thousands of lives at risk, everything was done with the sole intention of destroying us, for different reasons, but in the end they converged on something that could have ended in a even greater tragedy. Many perished in the battle, but thanks to one student, many deaths were avoided. And I refuse to forget someone who fought against the odds, and became a hero to Beacon and the people of Vale. Jaune was a first-year student at Beacon, who many considered to be unqualified to become a hunter, but he did not back down when he had to sacrifice his own life to protect his friends and Beacon as a whole. This statue is not enough to thank him for everything he did, but the least I, and any of us, can do is remember him and use his courage as inspiration. On behalf of Beacon, and the Kingdom of Vale, I thank you for his sacrifice, Jaune Arc." A round of applause echoed through Beacon's entrance, and as time passed, the crowd dispersed, leaving a small group of students staring at the statue with mixed emotions.
Pyrrha, Nora and Ren stood before the statue of their leader with a mixture of sadness, anger and anguish. Jaune was dead, and he wasn't coming back, however, the killer was still alive, and each of them would not rest until justice was served. In the distance, team RWBY wanted to get closer and try to help in any way, but they had nothing to do or say.
Jaune's death impacted each of them, as well as the survivors of Team JNPR, and even though both teams are not close at that moment, everyone's feeling is mutual.
Jaune will be avenged no matter what.
The first chapter has been finished. I did my best to start the story in the best way possible, and I hope you enjoyed it.
I'm personally motivated by the plans I made for the story, and I'll try to update as soon as possible, and of course, the interaction from each of you motivates me more and more.
Anyway, thanks for reading and see you soon.
