Chapter 1: Another Way to Pass
The forest flashed by as Naruto jumped from tree to tree, his bright orange jumpsuit a dead giveaway to his location if there had been any watchers.
He had failed the Academy exam for the third time, and prospective ninja were only allowed three attempts. Naruto had been so crushed that he had not passed as he sat on the swing under the tree. He then crushed any sad thought he had when Mizuki-sense approached him and told him there was another way to pass.
He just had to sneak into the Hokage tower and retrieve a hidden scroll, then learn a jutsu and demonstrate it to Mizuki-sensei.
Naruto had half of that done, and now just had to reach the clearing and learn a technique before Mizuki-sensei showed up. He dropped out of the trees and onto the roof of the shack near the clearing before jumping down into the clearing itself and pulling the scroll off his back.
He laid one end down and weighed it with some rocks before unrolling the scroll and looking through the techniques.
"The first should be the easiest one, right?" Naruto muttered to himself, before shouting out, "A clone Jutsu! What, that's my worst jutsu! I'm going to find a different one."
He glanced through more of the scroll and found an eye-catching one.
"Blood Absorption Jutsu" Naruto said to himself. Interested in its name, he read it.

How to Preform Technique:
Inject the vile of blood, which is sealed in the seal below into your bloodstream and then form the hand signs Dog, Rat, Tiger, Bird, Horse, Snake, and Ram in order. This will cause the blood to fuse with your own.
What It Does:
This jutsu cause your blood to fuse with the blood samples in the vile granting you power unlike any other.
Warning:
1. If you are not of either the Uzumaki, Senju, Uchiha, Kaguya, or Hyuga clan, you will die preforming this jutsu.
2. Preforming this jutsu will result in changes to your physical appearance.
Naruto was shocked to say the least. He had a clan and he had just found a jutsu created by the founder of his clan.
After letting this soak in for a couple minutes, he decided that he was going to do the jutsu to honor his ancestor.
Naruto looked down at the scroll and below the text he saw the seal containing the vial of blood. He tried putting chakra into the seal to open it, but nothing happened, so he bit his thumb and let a drop of blood hit the seal, and with a pop of smoke the vial sat on top of the seal.
Naruto then took the vile and injected the blood into his wrist and immediately started doing the hand signs and as soon as he finished the last hand seal, he felt like his whole body was burning. This feeling lasted for a couple of minutes before he fell unconscious.
(An Hour Later)
"Where am I?" Naruto asked himself as he woke up. He then remembered what happened. How he stole the scroll, skipped over the first few clone jutsu's and found the Blood Absorption Jutsu. Found out that he had a clan and that the jutsu was made by the founder of his clan along with doing the jutsu.
Just then he remembered the part that said his physical appearance might change and he started panicky checking himself over.
He was now 5'5 with long spiky snow-white hair that reached the middle of his back with a bang covering his right eye. His skin was pale white, and his eyes were lavender. He still had his whiskers, but they had faded a little bit. Along with these changes, he now also has visible muscles along his body.
Overall, in Naruto's opinion. He looked great. He was also now the tallest in his class.
After celebrating with himself for a couple seconds he realized something.
"Why would stealing the forbidden scroll which is filled with so many powerful Jutsu and learning one be a way to become Genin." Naruto asked himself before he realized why.
"Mizuki must be a traitor" Naruto said. This made his blood boil not only because Mizuki was a traitor but also because he had tricked Naruto into helping him commit treason to the village.
"I'll learn some more Jutsu so when Mizuki-teme shows up I can show him what he gets for betraying the village" Naruto told himself as he looked at what was next after the blood absorption jutsu.
He found a seal. He bit his thumb again and let a drop of blood fall onto the seal before the cut healed. With a puff of smoke, a scroll with the kanji, Biju on it along with 9 swords appeared.
As Naruto went to grab the first sword a tattoo of the Ichibi appeared on his arm and the sword disappeared. This happened with the other swords too. After he was done, he now had tattoos of every Biju going down his right arm which upon channeling chakra into them, found they stored each of the swords. He decided to look at the scroll later, so he went back to looking through the forbidden scroll.
Naruto decided that it would be good to have a clone technique, so he went back to the beginning of the scroll where he saw the Shadow Clone Jutsu and read.

How to Preform Technique:
Form the clone seal and channel chakra.
What It Does:
Similar to the basic Clone Jutsu, this technique creates copies of the user. However, these clones are real rather than illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of its overall power. This makes it impossible for dojutsu such as the Sharingan and Byakugan to tell the difference between your shadow clones and yourself.
The clones are capable of performing techniques, including the Shadow Clone Jutsu itself, on their own and can even bleed, however a good punch or kick will dispel your clones along with if the clones run out of chakra. When dispelled any excess chakra the clones had will be returned to the user along with that clone's memories. This makes Shadow Clones the perfect tool for spying and infiltration. They can also be used for all types of training besides physical training such as gaining speed and strength.
Warning:
need at least Jonin level chakra levels to perform this technique. Any less will result in severe chakra exhaustion or death.
a large group of clones all at once could result in severe migraines, passing out, and death.
"This will be awesome I will be able to become stronger so much faster" Naruto exclaimed. "Wait, what is the clone seal. I thought there were only 12 hand seals" Naruto wondered aloud. "Oh, wait, a picture… so I form a cross with my fingers…"
He formed the seal, pushing a little chakra into it…
"Poof" Naruto stared at the identical copy of himself, who was doing the same thing.
"Was it supposed to be this easy" Naruto asked
"Well, I'm here aren't I" the clone said.
"Alright" Naruto said as he formed 25 more clones.
"We still have time until Mizuki-teme gets here so let's train. I want the 2 clones to keep watch for Mizuki-teme. I want the rest of you to split into 3 groups of 8." He looked down at the forbidden scroll and read over the next 3 techniques while the clones got into their groups.
"The first group will learn the Shuriken Shadow Clone" he started "The second group will learn the Kunai Shadow Clone, and the third group will learn the Exploding Shadow Clone while I copy the scroll" Naruto told his clones once they were in their groups.
"Now let's get to work" he yelled out excitedly.
(One Hour Later)
Naruto had just finished copying the scroll onto several smaller scrolls and he now understood why it was called the forbidden scroll. As he was thinking about all the jutsu he could learn, his thoughts were cut off by his clone.
"Iruka-sensei is coming" the clone that was keeping watch yelled before dispelling himself.
This caused panic throughout the clearing as Naruto sealed away his copied scrolls into another scroll and the clones dispelled. He suddenly gained the memories of how to perform the 3 techniques, but they all still needed a little bit of work. He was suddenly cut off from his thoughts by Iruka-sensei voice.
"N-Naruto is that you" Iruka-sensei stuttered out while taking in Naruto's new appearance.
"Yes, I did a Jutsu that resulted in my new appearance, But I will tell you about it later. First, we must deal with Mizuki-teme" Naruto replied.
"What do you mean deal with Mizuki and why did you steal the forbidden scroll" Iruka-sensei asked him.
But before Naruto could answer, he pushed Iruka-sensei to the side while jumping to the other side, allowing both to avoid the hail of kunai sent at them.
"Congrats to you Naruto, it appears you're not as stupid as I thought" Mizuki-teme called out from his newly revealed perch on a tree branch, his silver hair swept under a bandanna and a pair of windmill shuriken on his back.
Internally Mizuki was raging. 'Of course, that demon had to figure it out!' Mizuki thought to himself. 'It doesn't matter I will just kill them both and then bring the scroll to Orochimaru-sama, but first…'
"Naruto" Mizuki-teme started "Let me let you in on a secret that has been kept from you for twelve years-"
"No" Iruka yelled out while throwing a kunai at Mizuki who blocked it "Don't!"
"Since the sealing of the Nine Tailed Demon Fox" Mizuki-teme continued ignoring Iruka's protest's, "and since that day a special rule was put in place for this village, a rule you were never to be informed of."
"What rule!" Naruto yelled, angry that this had been kept from him when everyone else knew "Tell me!"
"Stop, it's forbidden" Iruka-sensei yelled out while throwing a hail of kunai at Mizuki-teme, which he just avoided by jumping to another branch.
"I'll tell you all right" Mizuki-teme's face turning into a sinister grin "I'll tell you that you are the Nine Tailed Demon Fox. The same Demon Fox which destroyed our village twelve years ago and killed Iruka's parents!" Mizuki told Naruto, causing him to go into shock.
'Demon Fox,' he thought ignoring everything else Mizuki said 'Me … b-but I can't be…'
His mind was filled with memories of the past, the looks of loathing on the villagers faces and
words of cruelty on their lips, along with the yearly beatings he would get on his birthday.
'Perhaps I am… perhaps I am the Fox- 'He was suddenly brought out of his thoughts by the spray of Iruka-sensei's blood as it hit his face. Iruka-sensei had used his body to block the windmill shuriken that had been aimed at Naruto.
"I loathed you at first, Naruto, but you reminded me so much of myself, doing anything to get attention, good or bad" Iruka-sensei said with blood dripping from his mouth. "It hurts doesn't it, being alone?"
"I'm sorry Naruto, I should have done a better job…" his voice trailing off as he started coughing up blood.
Naruto turned and ran, Thoughts bouncing around in his head.
'I'm not a Demon, am I' Naruto wondered jumping from tree to tree until he found a hollow to hide in. 'If I seal a shuriken in to a scroll, the scroll doesn't become the shuriken, and the shuriken doesn't become the scroll…'
He was once again brought out of his thoughts by Iruka-senses crashing through the canopy and rolling to the base of the tree. He was followed by what looked like himself, but he knew all his clones were dispelled.
"How" he heard Iruka-sensi question, before the transformation dropped in a cloud of smoke to reveal Mizuki-teme "How did you know I wasn't Iruka" he asked.
"Because I am," He heard his imposter self say, only for another cloud of smoke to appear revealing Iruka-sensei collapsed on the ground.
Naruto had to admit, that was awesome coming from Iruka-sensei. He had always thought he was a little stuffy.
"You would even protect the demon that killed your parents by transforming into it" he heard Mizuki-teme say, his tone mocking. "But the Nine Tails would never be able to resist the power that scroll would grant him" Mizuki finished.
"You're right" Iruka-sensei shouted causing him to hang his head and almost break out in tears. "The Nine Tails wouldn't, but Naruto is different, he is one of my excellent students and a little brother to me.
Naruto smiled at that, but only slightly. Was he any different than the Nine Tails? Wasn't his first thought after copying the scroll about how many jutsu he could learn.
"Hurry up and die!" He heard Mizuki say as he ran towards Iruka-sensei, windmill shuriken spinning in his hand. Naruto quickly decided that he would not let this traitor hurt Iruka-sensei anymore.
And with that Naruto jumped from the hollow and ran towards Mizuki. He appeared in front of Mizuki in a white flash and kicked him away from Mizuki.
"Don't you dare touch him" Naruto growled out; his eyes hidden by shadows.
"Or I'll kill you" Naruto finished, lifting his head revealing the change in his eyes. They had turned light blue in color with a darkened sclera and visible pupil.
"You can try Demon, but you having different eyes won't make a difference" Mizuki-time yelled back, as he stood up wiping the blood from his mouth.
Forming the cross-hand seal, Naruto yelled out "Shadow clone Jutsu"
The world went orange and white.
Naruto had just got back to his apartment after his chat with Jiji. He told him that he had promoted him to Genin for defeating Mizuki and asked him to come by the office tomorrow morning so that they could talk about a few things.
Just then he remembered about the scroll that came with the swords, but he was too exhausted from his fight with Mizuki-teme to read it now. He resolved to read it tomorrow with the Hokage and with that he fell asleep.
