Author's Note: There is one last chapter after this and hopefully I'll get back to writing Dark Dreams. Thanks for your reviews etc so far.

Chapter 7

Katherine's brown eyes fluttered slowly as she stirred from her sleep. The muscles in her jaw ached and were tender as she opened and closed her mouth. She twisted around on the sofa in the TV room, trying not to remember the events that had happened on this very spot. She was relieved that her father hadn't touched her, but it still sickened her for him to ask her to touch and taste him. The way he was groaning and moaning was unlike him. It may have to be do with the amount of liquor he drunk last night. He was very eager. More so than he would normally he had her in these situations. Her head rolled to the right, and she stared at the doorway out of the room. There was a faint clatter of cans being crushed and the sound of cutlery being taken from drawers.

She groggily sat up and was relieved that she was still in her nightdress. Her legs shook as she rose to her feet and ambled out of the TV room down towards the kitchen. A harmonious whistle floated in the air as Freddy discarded the cans and bottle of vodka into a large black plastic bag. He tied it in a tight knot, leaving it at the door then turned around as his daughter trotted in.

"Morning, baby" He beckoned her over with a wave of his right hand.

Katherine gave a timid smile and darted into his outstretched arms. "Morning, daddy.

He kissed her forehead and strolled over to the kitchen counter, letting her sit on the edge. "You were brilliant last night; I was so proud of you. Did you enjoy last night?"

She shrugged and watched as he prepared himself his second coffee of the morning "It was okay daddy. I'm just glad it's over"

Freddy curled his right arm around the back of her head, pushing the side of her head firmly against the red and green sweater clad chest as he murmured in her ear. "You're getting better at using that little mouth of yours too, princess"

A shudder of disgust shot through her little body at this dark, sickening statement. She knew by the sounds that he was making last night that he thoroughly enjoyed what she did on him. To her, she despised it. Every second of it was harrowing, revolting….

Katherine took a deep breath and looked up at him. "What happens now daddy?"

"I'll need to think" Freddy's eyes peered through the kitchen window out to the back yard. At far end of the yard was the tall wooden fence that separated their garden from the alleyway that ran along the back of the houses of the street. His fingers drummed against the ceramic mug as he mused. The alley was barely used by the neighbours. He had seen a few teenagers or young children playing it in several years ago. But ever since his special work took off, the youngsters were warned off playing or walking down any alleyway. He knew that Bob's house backed onto the alley. He'd have to find the exact house. Glancing at Katherine he gave a sly smirk, he would take her for a little walk today. Around the neighbourhood and along the alleyway. Hopefully scope out where the fuckers' back yard was. "Let's go for a little walk after breakfast. I think the fresh air will help me with my hangover"

"Hangover?" She quirked her head to the side curiously. "What is that?"

"It means daddy drunk too much last night" He chuckled and pulled her back onto the ground. "Come on, upstairs so I can get you ready"

Obediently she followed him up to his room and within a matter of minutes he had her dressed for the day. Knee length pleated red skirt, plain white coloured t-shirt, v neck red sweater, white knee length socks and her baby janes was the attire for today. She stood patiently as he fashioned her hair into two plaits tied with her usual candy red ribbons.

He smiled down at her.

Perfection.

"We're going to walk down Bob Stevens' Street" Freddy rose to his feet from his seat.

Katherine's eyebrows arched sharply as she pursued him out of the room and down the stairs. "Why?"

He reached for his fedora hat and adjusted it on his head. "I want to see if he'll invite us into his home. He seemed to enjoy last night…"

"I…." Katherine murmured softly, then her voice faded into nothing.

Freddy noticed her hesitation and glared at her. "Come on, Kat. You know you don't keep anything from me"

"I saw the way he was looking at me Daddy" Her knees rattled against each other in fear. "I didn't like it. It scared me"

His fingers curled against his palms, and he took a calming deep breath. The memory of last night came flooding back to him. The searing, lustful look that bastard was throwing in the direction of Katherine. The way he bit his lip and the faint moan of desire he heard. Fucking cunt. He would rip the fucker's vocal cords out. He blinked rapidly, coming out of his trance and peered down at her. She gulped warily as he crouched down and scooped her into his arms. "I know it did. But nothing happened, did it? I was there. You weren't alone with him"

"What if I was alone with him? Like what if those other guys weren't there and you were upstairs….?" Katherine dreaded the thought.

"But that will never happen. You will never be alone with him. I will always be there, either watching you or in your company. I won't let him hurt you" He turned and pulled opened the front door stepping into the morning sunshine. A cool chill was in the air. "You see what we did last night and what we will be doing is gaining his trust. And today if we are walking past his house, I'm hoping that he will talk to us"

Her jaw dropped opened in surprise.

He saw the glint of fear in her big brown eyes and carried her over to his car and perched her on the hood. "Listen, if it happens, you can play with his puppy. If he sees that you are building a bond with the dog and that, are you enjoying yourself, he will then use the dog. That's why he has the fucking thing"

"Use the dog? To like to get me to trust him?"

"Yes, that's right baby" He nodded. "He'll use the little mutt to lure you away, into his house"

Katherine shakily took a deep breath. "But I know not to go inside"

He smiled with pride. "Good. But I want you to walk home twice this week. Monday and Tuesday"

Her face contorted into an expression of fear, then frustration as she scowled. "But why can't you just take him away!"

Freddy raised his right hand and curled his palm under her chin, his fingers tightening on her jaw brusquely. Her eyes began to water. "Don't you use that tone with me, sweetheart"

She quickly bit her lip in shame and apologised. "I'm sorry daddy. I didn't mean it"

His fingers loosened slightly, and he rubbed his thumb along her jaw. "Remember, everything that we are doing is just pretend. We are pretending to be his friends. We are just acting. It's all a game we are playing with him"

"If I'm walking home this week, and he stops me…what if he invites me into the garden to play with the dog?" She asked.

"You just politely say no that you must go straight home. I'll park the car at the end of this street"

"Will you be able to see me?" Her bottom lip was sucked under her top one forcefully as she grew anxious.

"Don't worry, I'll be able to see you" Freddy lifted her from the hood of the car onto the ground. He quickly entangled his hand with hers and they began their leisurely stroll through the neighbourhood.

For a while, they walked in silence. Glancing at the houses and gardens, seeing a few of the neighbours outside tending to their gardens. Freddy gave a few curt nods at a few of the men as they said hello in his direction. His fingers remained taut on Katherine's hand as they approached the end of the street. Katherine felt her stomach grumble, a low groan coming from her as she muttered. "Daddy, I'm getting hungry"

Freddy looked down at her. "We'll get something to eat soon. I promise"

She gave a little nod and saw him come to a stop beside the entrance to the alleyway that separated the back yards of the houses of Elm Street and Sycamore Drive. The ground a mixture of concrete and gravel. Various garbage cans were perched outside the gates of each garden. Freddy eye's narrowed as he scrutinized the narrow alley. "Come on, let's go this way"

Katherine furrowed her eyes in puzzlement. "Why are we going down the alleyway?"

"Just a little idea I have sweetheart…" They ambled down the alley. He looked up at the tall lampposts as they passed. There were five in total along the alley, two on the right side and three on the left. About twenty to thirty yards distance between them. Some of the lights were cracked, broken. Out of use. He knew that the alley would be dark. The town council still hadn't bothered to scrounge up the money to fix them.

Good.

If he could formulate a plan of getting Bob Stevens into this alleyway, he could overpower him and knock him out. His eyes darted down towards Katherine. Her curious gaze was set straight ahead.

"Katherine"

She quickly looked up. "Yes, daddy?"

"I know that I don't normally let you play outside in the street" Freddy began musingly. "But this week, after your dinner I want you to play on your bike in this alley"

A flicker of disbelief fanned over her face. "What? Why?"

"You see this alley is behind not just our house, but it's also behind Bob's house" He smirked slyly.

She swallowed thickly, full of fear. "But what if he sees me and takes me away?"

"He won't, I'll be here. I'll be watching you"

Katherine looked fleetingly up at a lamppost as they strolled by it. "But there's lights, he'll see you"

"He won't" He pulled her hand making her stop as he pointed up with his other hand towards the fissured shards of glass covering the light. "See? They're not working. There are five lights, buy only two of them work. This one here" his finger pointed at the one at the start of alley behind them. Then the tip of his finger swung towards the third light in the middle of the alley.

"But won't it be too dark?" Katherine shifted uneasily on her feet.

"No, there are some lights from the back of the people's back yards too" He reassured and then tugged at her hand, puling her forward as they began their walk along the alley. "I'll need to go to the hardware store too tomorrow after work"

"What for?"

"I'll need some supplies. He looks strong. So, I'll need some chains to restrain him after I knock him out" Freddy mused out lout, more to himself than to his daughter. Though he was still uncertain where to take him, to his room in the basement or to the power plant. Somewhere with more privacy.

It took them another ten minutes before they began to approach Sycamore Drive, slowly walking towards Bob's home. To Freddy's wicked delight, the man sitting on his porch. His little mutt running about the enclosed garden. He looked up from his paper and called over. "Good morning, Fred"

Katherine felt her cheeks blush red as the man strolled down the steps towards the white picket fence as they came to a stop at the gate. Her head instantly lowered to her feet, her eyes focusing on the tip of her shoes. Her fathers' words were inaudible as her concentration began to wane, faint mumblings and murmurs echoing in her ears…

"Katherine sweetheart" Freddy's voice broke through her foggy mind, "Would you like to play with Mr Steven's little dog for a while?"

Her thin lips pressed tightly together before she gave a little nod, her voice hoarse and low "Yes"

Freddy grinned at her and tugged her forward towards the gate as Bob opened it for them. Katherine lowered her eyes towards the puppy as it excitedly trotted over to them. Its tail wagging vehemently behind it. She felt a little smile curl at the corner of her lips. It was adorable with big brown eyes that darted between her and her father. She felt him loosened his grip on her hand and heard the faint click of the gate being locked.

Bob quicky struck up a conversation with her father as they marched towards the porch, reminiscing about their poker game from the night before. "You're a good player, Fred. We must do that again. You're all more than welcomed to come over here for the night"

Krueger gave a fake smile, "Sounds good. Though I would need to arrange a babysitter for Katherine"

"You can bring her with you" Bob said quickly.

A flare of rage soared through Freddy at the suggestion. But he pushed down his fury and smirked, nodding once. As they settled in their seats at a small table on the porch, Freddy took a casting glance at his daughter. She giggled and ran across the neatly cut lawn as the golden Labrador puppy chased after her. A little smirk tugged at his lips.

"Is coffee, okay?"

He whipped his head up towards Bob as he carried out two plain white ceramic mugs.

"Yeah, thanks"

Bob glimpsed over at Katherine as she tossed a small tennis ball across the grass watching as the puppy ran after it then obediently went back to her side. This was perfect. The little girl was becoming at ease, hopefully this morning could help her trust him. If he saw her walking home from school again, he would lure her in with his dog.

"How are you settling in at work?" Freddy asked brusquely. Drawing the man's steely gaze away form Katherine.

"Good" Bob sipped at his coffee. "You said your daughter is what, nine years old?"

The fingers on Freddy's right hand went taut on his mug. His knuckles turned white. "Yes. That's right"

"She's very shy. Probably the shyest child I've come across" Bob's eyes lingered on the girl again. Fuck she was beautiful….

"It's because of the bullying" Freddy hissed through his teeth. He knew he had to be calm, not let his temper take over him. But the way this cunt was staring at his little girl. The leering look of desire was riling him up big time. "It was a bad time for her. Knocked her confidence big time"

"When did that happen?"

"Over the last couple of years. But I put a stop to it" Freddy's eyes gleamed darkly as he thought back to the day, he butchered Lucy and Melanie. The little whores. "She knows to let me know if anyone else bullies her"

Bob nodded musingly and soon their conversation turned to Bob's life before Springwood. Though the man knew to keep certain aspects of his life in the two previous towns he had lived. He had mentioned his relationships, his jobs, his interests – which were like Krueger's. In a short space of time, they had built up a rapport. Something that Freddy had hoped for. A few times Bob had tried to swerve the conversation towards Freddy's daughter. The answers that Freddy had given were short and sharp, not wishing to give away too much information about her to Bob. It would only give him an advantage. Something that Krueger didn't want.

Childish laughter echoed from the lawn as Katherine spiritedly began to play a tug of war with the puppy, jerking and tugging at a fluffy dog's toy in the shape of a hedgehog. She knelt on the grass as she let go of the toy and reached out to lightly pet the golden fur of the animal. Oh, how she would love to ask her father for her own little puppy. But she knew the answer would be a dismissive 'no'. She knew he was possessive over her, not liking her lingering near adults for too long. The notion of a pet drawing her attention away from him was out of the question.

The pup snuggled on her lap, licking vigorously at her hands as she brushed her palm over his back and head. She looked to her right towards the porch where her father and Bob Stevens sat, quietly chatted. For a moment Bob pulled his gaze towards her as he brought the rim of his mug to his mouth and a sly grin spread over his lips as his eyes roved over her body. Katherine shuddered and looked down at the pup, wishing that her father would say it was time to go.

"Would it be okay if I use your bathroom?" Freddy asked. He didn't need to relive himself; it was just a ruse to see what this fucker would do when left alone with Katherine. He wouldn't put her at serious risk. If he could watch him from one of the windows…

"Yes, its' at the top of the stairs. First door on the left" Bob nodded at the house.

The lips on Freddy's face coiled up slightly as he strolled into the house.

Katherine began to partake in another game of fetch with the pup as she stood at the far left of the yard. The dog yapped and barked as ran across the path to the other stretch of lawn. Her brown eyes were drawn to the right as a shadow crossed her vision. A hard lump began to form in her throat as Bob stopped at her side. His eyes turned dark, glistening with impious intent as he raised his left hand to her hair. The blood freeze in her veins, her legs turning to thick heavy stone. The featherlight touch of his fingers as it skimmed her hair broke her skin out into goosebumps.

"You're beautiful…." He whispered softly.

Her hands shook hard at her sides. Where was her father? She wanted her daddy…

Bob smirked as his hand curled along the side of her face, curling along her soft flesh of her cheek. It was so tender, soft beneath his fingers….

There was a slam of a door as Freddy exited the house. Bob took a step backwards with a snarl of discontent. But soon a pleasant smile spread over his face as he turned towards him as he descended the wooden steps.

"You ready to go home, honey?"

Katherine side stepped around Bob so fast and dashed forward Freddy. Her hand gripped his opened right hand, and she half hid behind his lean frame.

Freddy fought back the urge to smirk at Bob's disappointment at being interrupted. "I'm sorry Bob, but we've got to go. We've a busy day ahead of us" He looked down at Katheirne, "Don't we sweetheart?"

She nervously nodded in reply.

"It was nice seeing you again" Bob compelled a smile on his face. His eyes flicked down towards Katherine and soon his smile became genuine. "You too Katherine"

Katheirne involuntary shivered and felt her father squeeze her hand in comfort. Freddy tipped his hat and led his daughter out of the garden, locking the white gate behind him. As they were out of sight of Bob's house Katherine finally broke down into tears, sobbing and muttering out incoherent words.

"D-daddy… w-where were you?" She inhaled sharply, wheezing hard as a little panic attack gripped hold of her.

Freddy scooped her in his arms and held her close as she snuggled against his chest. His hands ran tenderly along her shaking spine as he reached the end of the street, "Hey, it's okay. I pretended to go inside to use the bathroom"

"You were pretending?" She hiccupped; a flicker of disgust seared across her face. How could he do that? Leave her alone with him?

"I wanted to see what the asshole would do when alone with you" His lips brushed her ear.

"He said I was beautiful…" Katherine whimpered. She hissed sharply as his hand tightened their grip on her spine. She knew he was furious at what she said. But what could she do? Lie to him? Quickly, his right hand soothed over her back, and he kissed her forehead lightly.

"What else happened?"

She sat up a little in his arms. "He touched my hair. He was stroking it, then he was trying to touch my face. Then you came out. I was terrified. I couldn't move. I was afraid to move in case he grabbed me!"

He pressed his lips together in a grim line and nodded. They walked the rest of the way home in a tense silence as he pondered how to proceed….

….

It was raining heavily as Katherine began the weary walk home on her own from school on She knew not to defy or protest her fathers' commands and swallowed down her fear, by agreeing with his instructions for today and tomorrow. The hood of her red raincoat was pulled up over her brown locks that was for once brushed down pinned back by a white hair band. Her black baby janes were splashed with water as she trotted through various puddles as she crossed the street towards one of the neighbourhoods she had to pass through. She looked around the barren street. What must she look like? The only child in the whole of school walking home in the pouring rain. All the other children were clambering towards the extra school buses that were put on this week. It was in the news that for the next few days there would be thunderstorms. A weather warning was put in place.

But her father was unyielding when he ordered her to walk home today and tomorrow. She had just given a despondent sigh and nodded. What else could she do?

It only took her about fifteen minutes to come to Sycamore Drive and her heartbeat began to intensify, thumping hard and fast against her ribcage. Her fingers curled tightly around the black strap of her schoolbag as she crossed the road where Bob Stevens house was situated. Her pensive, hard gaze stared up at the white picket fence as she approached. Spittle's of water dropped from the rim of her hood onto her flushed shaking face. The garden was empty. But the porch light was on. She narrowed her eyes, peering to her left as he took slow tentative steps along the fence. There was a movement from inside, passing by the thick white curtains draped across one of the windows. Her heart skipped a beat…

But there was no sound of a door being unlocked.

Bob Stevens did not appear in the doorway.

A flood of relief flowed through her. She was so grateful, so happy.

The smallest of smiles crept over her face as she picked up her pace, rushing towards the end of the street where she knew her father was waiting for her.

Freddy climbed out of his car as his child approached. "Come on, in the car quickly"

She ran around to her side of the car and scampered inside. "Hi, daddy"

"Did he not come out?" He asked disappointedly.

"No, he didn't" Katherine yanked down her hood and wiped the spits of rain from her face. "Do I have come down here again tomorrow daddy?"

"Not in this rain" He glanced at the dark grey skies as a distant rumble of thunder boomed. "Maybe Friday, when the weather settles a little. But you will be allowed in the alley on your bike on Thursday and Friday evening"

"What time at? And for how long?" Katherine saw a thick white plastic bag in the back seat. "What's in that?"

Freddy smirked. "Some essentials for Friday night"

"Friday night? What's happening on Friday night?" Her stomach lurched at the thought of another poker night being arranged.

"Hopefully, if everything goes according to plan, you are going to help me lure the bastard into the alleyway. And then I'll incapacitate him and then bring him into our home"

"You're going to keep him in our house, but why are you not going to take him to the power plant?" Katherine felt perplexed. Was her father going to kill him in their home? A chill of dread slithered over her skin.

"I'll bring his body there when I'm finished with him" Freddy pulled the car into their driveway. "Did anything happen at school? Any bullying?"

"No, daddy" She shook her head quickly.

"Good" Freddy reached into the back seats and gathered the plastic bag. "Let's go inside and I'll show you what I got at the hardware store"

Katherine nodded and swiftly followed him inside their home.

The door to Krueger's secret room creaked opened as they entered. He flicked on the light as Katheirne pattered over towards her seat where she waited patiently for him. The plastic rustled in his hands as he carried it over to the bench and reached inside for a thick, chunky silver chain. It was at least two feet long. Katherine also saw a length of thick role and black masking tape.

"What are they for? Is that how you are going to tie him up?" Katherine gingerly touched the cold metal links of the chain.

"Yes…" He crouched slightly in front of her and cupped her chin. "This is what I want you to do on Thursday and Friday evening"

Her lips compressed together in a thin line, a look of concentration plastering over her face as she gave him her full attention as he began to speak…

….

Thursday Evening…

8.45pm…

Being allowed out playing this late on a school night felt strange to Katherine. And the fact that it was in a grimy, darkly lit alleyway was also bizarre. But she knew why, and she would make her father proud of her and obey his command. She balanced herself on her bike, pushing her legs upwards as she hoovered over the pink coloured seat. Her bike was too small now. She had it coming up to four years now. Hopefully, her father would buy her a new one for Christmas. The wheels crunched over the gravel as she sped down the alleyway then stopped several feet from the end of the last garden fence that belonged to the last house on the street. The rubber of the wheel skidded as she turned her bike to the right to face the alley again. This was her fifteen-time doing this. Her fathers' instructions were simple – just ride your bike up and down the alleyway, but make sure to slow down when you approach Bob's back yard. He had discreetly pointed out the tall grey painted fence that had the number 16 painted in black paint.

As much as she was enjoying playing on her bike, she was starting to tire. And the fact that the man Bob Stevens hadn't even ventured out of his garden was making her nauseous. Would her father be frustrated that she never interacted with him again? Would he even be angry?

Her knuckles twisted and gripped the handlebars of the bike more firmly as she advanced towards Bob's back yard. Two fingers curled around the silver brake of the bike and brake kicked it as a low creak echoed in the empty alley. She stopped for a moment right outside his garden and bent down to adjust her ankle socks Just like her father had told her. It wasn't each time, just the odd time just in case the man would make an appearance and see her.

But like the three other times. There was no sign that he was coming out of his home.

Katherine lifted her agitated gaze towards the darkened alley and saw a shadow lingering to the left, beside the entrance to her own back yard. About forty yards away. More than halfway down the alleyway.

She glanced to the right towards the gate that led to Bobs' Garden and then whipped her head back towards where her father stood hidden in the shadows. Her head whipped back forth, side to side indicating there was no sign of the man his father was hoping to lure and kidnap.

Freddy growled inwardly and cursed to himself. He had hoped tonight would be successful, that the cunt would come out of his home and chat to Katherine. There was always tomorrow night. It was time for her to come inside. He swept his fedora from his head and stepped back into his own back yard.

It was only a few minutes later that his daughter drove through the opened gateway into the yard and hopped off the bike. There was a metallic click as Freddy pulled the latch on the gate closed.

"Inside. I'll get you ready for bed" He pushed her forward towards the back door.

Once inside she finally spoke, "I'm sorry daddy, but I did what you told me. He never came out. There was no light from his kitchen. I didn't even hear him leave his dog outside"

"It's okay" Freddy mumbled with aggravation. "We'll try again tomorrow night. But I don't want you to bring your bike. You can play with your skipping rope"

"Okay daddy. What time am I going out tomorrow night?" They strolled into her bedroom, and she obediently raised her arms as he began to discard her navy V-neck jumper. "Am I staying out later because the next day is Saturday?"

"Yes, you'll be out at the same time. You can stay out to about 10pm" He gritted through his teeth. "That fucker better see you. Did any of the neighbours see you?"

"No" She stepped out of her skirt. "No-one saw me"

He sat back on the chair beside her dresser and rubbed his chin in thought. "Can you reach his gate? Are you able to unlock it?"

"Um, yeah I think I can" She thought back to the circular hole in the middle of the gate, right beside the edge. There had to be a lock on the other side. "Do you want me to do something?"

The corner of his lips curled into a wily grin and lowered his lips to her ear. Whispering new commands to her.

Next night. 9.30pm

The alleyway seemed darker than the previous night. More frightening or it could it just be her nerves getting the better of her. She had managed to unlock Bob's Stevens gate about ten minutes before and there was still no sign of him. Though, his kitchen light did appear to be on. So, he was awake. He was bound to notice the gate swung opened if he just took one little glance out his window.

Her breathing was regulated and heavy as she rhythmically skipped over the thin white rope as she swung it over her head. Her voice was soft, barely a whisper as she

"Miss Mary Mack, Mack, Mack

All dressed in black, black, black

With silver buttons, buttons, buttons

All down her back, back, back.

She asked her mother, mother, mother

For 50 cents, cents, cents

To see the elephants, elephants, elephants

Jump over the fence, fence, fence.

They jumped so high, high, high

They reached the sky, sky, sky

They never came back, back back

Till the 4th of July, ly, ly!

July can't walk, walk, walk

July can't talk, talk, talk

July can't eat, eat, eat.

With a knife and fork, fork, fork."

Her feet landed hard on the concrete as she finished the rhyme and allowed her hands to lay at her sides, then she heard it. The faint wooden creak of a door opening. Her bottom lip quivered, and she took two steps backwards, backing away from the opened gateway of Bobs garden. Her father told her she had to ensure that Bob was not facing him as he approached the man. It was the only way he could attack. The element of surprise he had simply explained.

"Katherine?"

She shyly looked up at him as he exited his darkened garden.

Bob's eyebrows furrowed in surprise. Then the faintest of grins, sinister and knowing crept over his face. "What are you doing out here?"

"I'm p-playing skip rope" She whispered quietly.

He cautiously walked over to her, and his knees bent slightly as he smiled. "How about you come inside, and I'll phone your daddy?"

Her hands tugged and twisted the rope in her hands. "Uh, I don't know if I'm allowed to"

"It's okay, you know me, don't you?" He said with a cunning smile. "I'm not a stranger, am I?"

Katherine's eyes darted rapidly past him as shadows shifted and moved towards them. She bashfully shook her head.

"I'm your daddy's friend" Bob took a step towards her and reached out his right hand towards her arm. "I'm your friend"

A menacing snarl growled out behind him. "Like hell you are!"

The sharp edge of a crowbar slammed down hard on the back of Bob's head sending the man sprawling forward flat onto his face…
