No, we already have one of those called Ginny. Due to coin toss, Voldemort and Neville are also still males much to my sorrow. Also please note this is an x-overs with Harry Potter as the primary. As such there is nothing about changing the gender of a character from another series. If that happens it won't appear till year three or four at the earliest unless I roll something surprising.
As to what other series might I add? Honestly, I have no idea.

Some grammar and structure will be your friend when trying to communicate with me.

Pair him with Rosalyn and Ginny please
Please wait until they are older. Even then pairings aren't something that I would have much experience in, and I don't mean in just writing.
Nastadoa
I hope to entertain at least somewhat. Also here is chapter 2 lol.
Erozoth
Meh it's not for everyone I suppose. They are his caretakers until he is older though which means they have to be present when another adult not part of the orphanage is seeing a child there. It doesn't matter who they are. Now I don't know British law so that last bit could be wrong, but it makes sense to me and that is how I am going to roll it.
Chapter 2
Diagon Alley
In which our friend rediscovers the joys of theft.
"Welcome to Diagon Alley." Minerva gestured with her arm out to the side.
While I see a great shopping center sprawled along the sides of a large street, I look over and see that Rosalyn's expression is childish wonder and glee. Looking back, I take note that the street in question is as wide as Charing Cross is outside the Cauldron, meaning that about fifteen people could walk shoulder to shoulder and still maintain formation easily.
"We will need to first head to Gringotts bank to withdraw Miss Potters money as I already have yours Misters Richard, and Mister Richard?" she says ending on a questioning note making me turn to look at her. "Do not insult the goblins. While they may not do anything since you are a child at the time you will not always have that protection."
With that statement she begins navigating the street, leading us to the gleaming white structure of the renowned bank of the goblins, Gringotts.
While we are following her with Diane taking up the rear and Rosalyn behind our guide, I take in the surrounding sites. Including a call of "One Galleon per ounce, they're mad," Turning to look at the voice I see a heavy-set woman with red hair. Blinking, I activate Observation and scan her.
[Molly Weasley]
[Witch – Lvl ?]
[Health ?/?] [Stamina ?/?] [Mana ?/?]
{Ping} [Observation has leveled up 12!]
It is Molly, and more importantly I got my first level up, albeit in a skill. Continuing walking behind Rosalyn, I scan her and get the following. Also do not piss her off for the time being.
[Rosalyn Potter]
[Witch – Lvl ?]
[Health ?/?] [Stamina ?/?] [Mana ?/?]
[Rosalyn Potter was born July thirty first to Lily and James Potter and lived with them for a little over a year before the Dark Lord Voldemort attacked and destroyed everything. Somehow surviving thanks to her mother, she grew up with her aunt, uncle, and cousin.]
[While her aunt and uncle never struck her beyond a little discipline, said discipline should have gone to Dudley as he turned out spoiled rotten even in this universe and thanks that Rosalyn is hogging all the attention even when she isn't there. As such he bullies her greatly.]
Ah so it is just Dudley's legs I need to break then? I guess I can work with that. Flicking my gaze from person to person, all I get are question marks which make sense considering I am only level 1. The fact that I am able to get a read on Rosalyn story but not her level is odd but maybe that is because Observation leveled up? Also, a single question mark so at the very least she isn't some innate monster in terms of power.
As our group proceeds up the steps, Ignoring the doors and instead I focus on the goblins guarding them.
[Goblin Guard Lvl ?]
[Health ?/?] [Stamina ?/?] [Mana ?/?]
[One of the guards for the bank of Gringotts, they seem overly hostile to everyone but no that is just their resting face.]
[Goblin Guard Lvl ?]
[Status – Sleeping] [Health ?/?] [Stamina ?/?] [Mana ?/?]
[One of the guards for the bank of Gringotts, they seem overly hostile to everyone but no that is just their resting face. In this one's case quite literally.]
Snorting at the fact that one of the guards is asleep, I step through the first set of doors and then the inner set and behold a room with each side having rows of goblin bank tellers in suits behind polished wooden desks, some seeing to wizards and others going over papers or in the case of one, weighing large rubies, each one at least a minimum of six and a half inches in diameter.
They seem to glow with an inner flame that poured its light onto the goblins face, which was only scant inches from them, hooked nose almost grazing against their polished surface.
I blinked and realized I want one of those since it looks like it might contain some type of magic in it.
Feeling a hand against my back I realized I must have slowed my step and moved to catch up with Minerva and Rosalyn, while trying to see if I could find anyone relevant to the books and only finding a single name of Chester Diggles and nothing else.
"Do you have Miss Potters key then?" I could hear from the goblin across from Minerva ask, a not quite sneer on his face.
"I do," she replies pulling said key from her purse without much fanfare. I am guessing she got it from Hagrid earlier or even Dumbledore since this was planned.
"Hmm, very well. Griphook!" the goblin teller exclaims, causing Rosalyn to jump slightly. Not even three seconds later a shorter goblin wearing a blue vest over a sky-blue pinstriped shirt
"Take these humans to vault six eight seven," the teller commands before going back to a bank book from what I could make out thanks to my now shortened height.
"Follow me, now and don't dawdle." The goblin snaps as he begins to quickly move to the back of the room.
The good news is despite being shorter than the adults, Griphook was still shorter than even Rosalyn, so we fell into line and made our way deeper into Gringotts.
Coming upon a track set on support struts from the platform and possibly the face of the rocky earth, Griphook whistles and a cart comes rolling around the corner. I would say it screeched but it didn't even make a sound as it ghosted its way to a stop.
"Climb in so we can be off. Hurry up now," our hooked nose irritable goblin guide rounds off, scrambling for his own seat.
Climbing in Diane asks the following much to my amusement, "Where are the seat belts?"
"We don't need no seat belts where we are going," I say grinning. Much to my shock the goblin actually grins at me. Right before slamming a lever home and the cart goes from standing still to slaloming around bends with Diane screaming right behind me.
Minerva has gone fully white and Rosalyn eyes are wide but not from fear if that little upturn of the lips is anything to go by. Still an adrenaline junkie I see.
I am grinning back at the goblin who seems a little shocked as if a human has never liked this speed. I mean it is around one hundred miles per hour or so. My old car could do one sixty and was quite fun to hit those speeds.
I am definitely getting a racing broom for myself. Well, that or if Rosalyn gets the nimbus see if she will let me ride it now and then.
As the cart starts to slow down, I realize I can't hear screaming behind me anymore. Turning I saw that she had gone and fainted. Shrugging I turn and nudge Rosalyn, "Well it looks like we lost one," and gestured next to me.
Minerva who heard me, turned and asked griphook if she can use magic on her to which he acquiesces. Turning and with a muttered, "enervate," Diane jerks back to consciences.
"What, where am I, what happened." Yep, she's back. Turning to Minerva, I let her know that she will probably have to do that again at the top and she just sighs and nods.
Getting out of the cart once it comes to a full stop, Griphook announces our arrival at six eight seven and asks for the key. Upon receiving it he then turns to the door and opens it to reveal mounds of gold, hills of silver, and oddly small piles of bronze Knuts.
I have no idea why they wouldn't just convert everything into the Galleon and upon asking Griphook all I get is, "Wizards don't seem to care about or understand money. They just come and dump their coins into these vaults without much regard. On occasion one will sort it out into piles but still not much more than that."
After Rosalyn returns, we climb back into the cart with Diane needing help with how bad she is trembling. Once she is set Griphook takes the lever, and we shoot off to the top.
Emerging from the bank and back into the sunlight I reckoned we spent maybe half an hour underground total. Turning to Minerva as she gets our attentions, she begins to lead us off to a shop, "We are heading to Madam Malkin's. This is where we most of our students get their school robes." Turning she looks at me before asking, "We aren't going to have an issue with robes, are we?"
She had a muggleborn or two compare them to dresses and raise a ruckus I imagine. Shaking my head in the negative I ask, "Actually how much can we modify them? Or add to them?"
"As long as the trim, badge, and overall size doesn't change then there should be any reason you can't add to them," was my reply.
I nodded even though she had already turned and entered the shop and we all moved to keep following her.
Upon entering we are greeted by a witch dressed in shades of yellow.\ "Hello Professor, more students I see. We actually have one getting his measurements for his own robes at the moment so one of you," at this she nods to me and Rosalyn, "will have to wait a moment."
Nodding to the girl next to me I simply say, "Ladies first," which gets a chuckle from the adults and snort from Rosalyn before she moves to follow the witch.
Stepping off to the side so that I am not blocking the door. I simply wait until I see a blond boy with a sharp-ish nose try and strut by. If anything, it looked like he was trying to not make a mess in his pants.
As he was leaving the shop without looking at anyone the witch that took Rosalyn to the back beckoned towards me, so I moved to her and when prompted stepped up onto the stool next to me.
"That boy is an arse." was the first thing Rosalyn said to me. "He is an absolute brat. Saying things about not letting 'the other sort in'. I think he meant people like you." she continued, putting emphasis on "the other sort," looking apologetic about even mentioning it.
"Then he mentioned how the rules don't let first years have their own broom sticks and how he thinks that is a load of crap and will bully his father into letting him have his own." She ended with a sigh causing a strand of hair that fell down in front during her little rant to blow off to the side.
"Well, it sounds like you can just let the deputy headmistress know. You know the one currently helping us get our things. If he is intending to break the rules knowing they are in place, then she should know." I say shrugging. "Just make sure to mention that he is going to 'bully his father' into getting him a broom."
She just gives a hum at that before being told that's it for her and she can go back to the front. Since we probably are going to go by Flourish and Blotts I ask the system if stolen items can be stored and if so, will tracking charms work on them.
Getting an affirmative followed by a negative I lightly grin to myself. Looks like Christmas is coming early this year.
After being shooed down and towards the front Minerva pays for my robes and helps Rosalyn with hers before we all leave the shop after being told to come back in an hour or so to collect the robes. "We are going to head to the trunk and storage shop to get a pair of school trunks. To be honest we could have done that first, but we will need them now since we are going to get your books and ingredients for potion brewing.
Blinking, I sigh before following them towards the next shop. I will place my books that I buy or rather the professor will buy me, and I will pretend to put my ingredients into the trunk but slip them into the inventory, so they stay as fresh as possible.
That way if the trunk gets inspected it might pass a visual inspection. Also, so I don't risk breaking anything in it like vials.
I am going to have to get some money so when I return later as I don't have an infinite storage space just yet. One thing people get wrong is when they try to shoplift, they just leave the store while not giving the clerks something to look at and scan thinking is all that needs to be paid for.
Proper deception is key to theft. While I might not need to worry about getting caught with stolen items it isn't impossible to link loss of stock to my being there. Best if I prevent that if possible.
Entering the trunk shop I see trunks of various woods and prices with a few reaching several thousand Galleons. There are also other things being sold like dressers and vanities. Even simple small tables with small compartments. Or maybe not small considering what magic can do.
"We need two standard Hogwarts trunks please," Minerva requested walking up to the counter and the clerk behind it.
"Ah of course. Are you sure that is all you want? Not a multi-trunk or seven room trunk?" The clerk tries to haggle with Minerva.
"No. Just two standards please." she replies firmly, one eyebrow marching higher.
Spotting the sign indicating Standard trunks I see that they are only ten galleons or fifty pounds. Walking over and opening it up I see that it is just a wooden box with hinges. "Do they come with any kind of enchantments to keep things from knocking into each other? Preventing spills or breaking vials?" I ask.
The clerk smelling a possible sell, hops on over and indeed confirms that is, in fact, all they come with before trying to persuade me to inspect a fifty-galleon trunk that has a spatial expansion charm on it along with a fire resistance charm and feather light embedded into the wood as he demonstrates the latter by picking it up with just his pinky.
Look it over I sigh and say, "While I would really like to get it all I can afford is the standard," causing him to wilt. "But," at this he perks up, "I will remember to save some money, if possible, to get one next year if you don't mind."
Sighing but nodding he returns to the counter with two of the standards floating behind him. As he does so all eyes follow him and don't see me open my inventory and move one of the spatial ones into it.
Moving over to the counter and looking around to make sure no one saw a thing I checked the inventory screen off to the left slightly and noticed the weight limit is now showing that it is sitting at thirty-five pounds. Keeping the grimace off my face I take my standard trunk alongside Rosalyn once Minerva confirms the sale and follow her out the door. Well, that might put me behind a bit on what books I can take now but at least I have a nice chest I can use.
{Ping} [Title granted: Thief!]
[Makes it so that people who are also small-time crooks are more than likely
to ignore you or even be honestly friendly to you. Also makes it less likely to be discovered with stolen items.]
Huh, my first title beyond The Gamer. I am perfectly fine with this.
Making our way to the large, multi-level bookstore, Minerva lets us know that all the books we need are already bundled up in the front. Look at me, she lets me know that the ministry is sponsoring two books of my choice to go with the purchase and lets me wonder the aisles of books.
Walking down I see books such as Beguile Your Enemies and Enchant Your Friends, Cooking with Magic, various gardening and farming books on how to use magic to help with crop growth. After asking one of the aids where books on basic item enchanting are located, I headed upstairs and to the designated bookshelf. While I am heading up the stairs, I see Diane browsing cooking books. I might get her something for the holidays if I can find something that she can use.
Finding the books and discovering there is an entire series on it, I look around and toss all but the first into my inventory when the coast is clear. Is it a clear violation of the law? Yes. Do I care? Nope.
Heading down with the first book on basic enchanting I see a book on foreign creatures and decide to grab it before walking back to McGonagall and hand the books over to her. Looking down at them she simply raises an eye before adding them to the bundle.
After that, I see that my inventory is reading forty-eight out of fifty and I rather not know what happens if I try to cram more into it. So that will be it for today's thefts. I also notice the books don't have any tracking charms on them, just trigger charms for when they clear the door without being paid for.
After everything is paid for, we leave another shop behind and start heading for our next vict- I mean designation. To my delight I see that we finally get our wands as we head towards Ollivander's.
A shiver expresses itself as we walk inside, bell gently ringing. Feeling something hum against my skin, I close my eyes and try to feel what is pressing against my skin. This odd sensation, akin to stray hair that you just can't find but the moment you stop looking for it, you feel it brush against you again.
Jumping slightly when a voice sounds out almost next to his ear, "Good morning," I open my eyes and see a man with a full head of shocking white hair and eyes glinting silver in the dark of the shop.
[Garrick Ollivander]
[Wizard - Lvl ?]
[Wandmaker]
[Health ?/?] [Stamina ?/?] [Mana ?/?]
An old wandmaker whom, according to British witches and wizards, is the best. He runs his shop on Diagon Alley and seems to have no real leanings for dark or light magic as he is more curious about how wands interact with those who do. He is able to remember every wand he has ever sold down to the exact length and core component and is gifted enough to examine a wand made by another and tell what it is and contains by touch and sight alone.
"Ah yes. Yes, yes. I thought I'd be seeing you soon, Rosalyn Potter. Your eyes are a mix of your parents. It seems only yesterday your parents were in here getting their first wands." he murmurs, almost to himself.
"Your mother, ten and a quarter inch, swishy and of willow. Good for charms. Your father, however, seemed to prefer a wand of mahogany," by this point he was almost nose to nose with the poor girl staring back with wide eyes, unsure of what to do.
"Eleven inches, pliable and near perfect for transfiguration with power to spare. Well, I say favored but it's the wand that chooses the wizard, not the other way around of course." Reaching up as if to touch the lightning bolt scar, his finger pauses over it, "and this scar I am sad to say was done by a wand I made. Yew, thirteen and a half inches, and powerful in hands that wielded it to great harm."
"Minerva, nine and a half inches, fir with dragon heartstring. Still working I hope?" to which our guide simply hands her wand over to its maker. "Yes, this wand is in excellent condition," running his pale and rather boney fingers over the slim shaft of dark wood he simply nods and hands it back to its owner before turning.
Looking at me he blinks slowly, "And I see that we have someone new to our world. Good, good." Snapping his fingers, a tape measure that was on the main desk popped up and began encircling Rosalyn who most definitely did not squeak in surprise. "The purebloods that speak of old lines greatly and ill of new ones do not understand that without new blood their families will wither away."
Stepping away from us and towards the shelving's he begins to look and pull boxes of wands down he calls out, to the tape measure from the way it behaved, "Alright that's enough from her now him," and it was on me to which I simply held out my arms and widened my stance to allow it access.
As it was taking measurements, I was treated to a display of destruction as wand after wand rejected the-girl-who-lived one after another. Sure, the shelving exploded once or twice, but then the windows exploded outwards before turning to droplets of water. That one caused Rosalyn to take the wand by the tip and carefully place it down with said tip facing away from all of us.
Diane was hiding behind Minerva, who seemed almost as amused as I was. Well, I was amused, the tight smile she had could be amusement or nervousness. After Ollivander replaced the window and sorted the shelving, he handed her more wands to which the gods of destruction celebrated. From shattered vases and picture frames to one of the wands simply catching fire, Ollivander seemed to grow more excited, more frantic to find the one for her before stilling.
Tapping the burnt remains of her previous tryout against his chin leaving char marks against it, "I wonder Miss Rosalyn, I wonder." to which he wanders off to the back of the store.
Having a wide grin on my face from the sheer carnage those small hands of hers could cause I can't resist poking fun, "You know Rosalyn, if I need some kind of building torn down, I know exactly who to phone."
"It's not like I am trying to," she complains, "he told me to give them a wave and I did. If anything, I felt from those wands is an indication, they didn't like me. Especially that last one. Felt like I did after watching my cousin eat an entire tub of ice cream before puking it all back up. Pure disgust." She says, arms crossed.
"Indeed. I don't know why I even bothered with elder for you, it was never fated to be," spoke up Ollivander with an open box in one hand and the wand from it, another. "Please give this a wave Miss Potter."
Gently taking it, as if the shop would simply collapse inwards from it simply touching her skin, she doesn't even have need to wave it as a series of red and golden sparks emit from the tip and an expression of shocked delight appears on her face. Grinning she waves it and every candle wick and oil lamp in the shop lights with golden fire flecked with deep reds sparkling like flowing gemstones.
Clapping ensues from both Minerva and Diane who joined after realizing the shop didn't cave in. Ollivander was simply looking at the wand in Rosalyn's hand and the girl herself. "It is almost surprising that this wand would be for you, but I don't see why not when it is a tale told throughout history. Of how brothers born from the same mothers, yet differing fathers can be so different."
As Rosalyn looked up at the wandmaker as he walked over with measured steps he continued, "The wand you hold is holly and phoenix feather, eleven inches exactly. Unusual in composition and curious that you would be destined for that wand. The feather in your wand came from a phoenix who gave one other feather. It is curious that you would be holding that wand when its brother gave you your scar." he said, turning to face me. "Now, onto our next customer of the day, shall we?"
Ah cool, it's my turn. Moving closer to Ollivander he simply holds his hand out for me to wait as he glances me over. Frowning ever so slightly he walks down an aisle, saying nothing, grabbing several boxes off the shelves.
Returning to me, he places the stack of boxes down before handing the first wand off the top over, "Ebony ten inches and dragon heartstring," he says stepping back after I take it. Hearing a sound I haven't heard in a bit, I see a new popup.
{Ping} [Wand Detected]
[Warning: Affinity 34%]
Feeling like my hand was freezing I flicked it towards one of the lamps still burning from Rosalyn's successful find to have a cracking sound echo out and the flame freezing solid before falling to the ground and shattering into solid embers.
Looking at the old man I simply shake my head and put it back in the box as he pulls out another. "I am fairly certain dragon will your core but the wood I am uncertain. Here is one from a wild apple tree also called crabapple. Nine and three quarters."
Taking it and seeing another screen saying it was around six percent affinity, was similar to holding the hand of young and very excited thunderstorm if that makes any sense. Giving it a short swish, a concussive wave of air exploded out of it striking a wall and shattering every picture that rested upon it and even cracking the wall, the denizens behind it giving off sounds of panic.
"This one is definitely worse off," was all I said glancing back at the three waiting for me to find a wand. Rosalyn is still staring at her wand, Diane is looking between me and the wall, and Minerva is just watching everything unfold.
This continues for some time, at least half to three quarters of an hour as wand after wand entered and left my hands. Some would be better, some worse though I have yet to find a wand as bad as that crabapple one again. After a while I noticed I was getting nothing but hawthorn and elder wood wands.
Humming, Ollivander simply takes some boxes away before handing me another wand, "Elder eleven and a quarter." he says while never taking his eyes off of me.
Taking a hold of it I glance at the popup seeing it let me know that this wand is far better than the last two at fifty-five percent. Flicking the tip of it at the lone chair and feeling my mana struggle to flow through it properly it simply spins in place on one leg before coming to a rest back where it started.
Just as Rosalyn and Minerva begin to clap, I speak up stopping them, "This one is definitely better than the last but still lacking. It felt like it was trying to push water through a clogged pipe if that reference helps."
Placing it back down I notice there are burn marks in the wand where my hand was making contact. "I see, and the wood is not a good match either. It still felt better than the others though?" He asked and received a nod.
"Hmm you are indeed an odd person. Elder is usually easier to find a pair than most would think. The wand would do you good for a time, but you would not do the wand good, easily burning it out." He simply stares at me for a few moments before walking off calling back. "Please stay put I need to go fetch something."
Staring at his retreating back I turn and look over at the professor as Diane asked, "So how long do these things take."
Shaking her head after realizing that the last wand, despite causing no destruction, was not the one for me replied, "Normally not this long. Usually it's like Miss Potter over here where it's less than five tries. Not upwards towards seventy."
"Actually, it was ninety-three wands that he tried," Ollivander's voice called out causing all of us to jump. Turning, I see him holding a simple box in his now gloved hands. "This wand is one of my older creations when I still actively used other cores besides unicorn hairs, phoenix feathers, and dragon heartstrings."
Walking to the door he looks over at me, "We are doing this outside my shop. I rather not have to rebuild it again."
With that ominous statement we follow him outside where he locks the door and goes around back to an empty courtyard behind the shop. Placing it down on a bench he beckons me over while opening it, "Please pick it up and give it a wave towards the sky if you don't mind." he asks, stepping backwards hastily.
Returning my gaze to the dark brown and knobby wood, I ask what it is. "As you probably guessed from earlier woods the wand is made of elder. The core however is something I don't know. It resembled human hair but could not have come from a human being in any capacity. If anything, the closest match I got for it was dragon scale of all things. At the end it didn't matter. It reeked of power and in my youth, I wanted to create a wand that could best any other wand in terms of it. I succeeded."
Reaching out I simply rest a finger on the wood. Feeling the way my magic or mana as the system calls it easily flowed into it.
{Ping} [Wand Detected]
[Affinity 95%]
Blinking at how easily my meager mana flowed into it and wondering what a wand that is at one hundred percent would feel like, I pick it up and simply stare at it. I can feel each groove in the wood. The curl of each knot along the grain.
Lifting it up into the air and letting my mana simply flow through it, I bring it down in a flourish leaving behind a scar of darkness that begins twirling in the air seemingly devouring all light that gets close to its edges while in stark contrast shining from its center a myriad of colors.
I flick my wand through it dispersing it and walk back over to the waiting group. "Yep, its good," I say to them and Ollivander nods.
"Good, Good. Any resistance or anything that you would say feels odd?" He asks while looking at the wand hanging from my hand.
Bringing it up I simply shake my head, "No it felt smooth. By the way do you happen to sell holsters or something for wands? Something so that I won't simply have it sticking down my pants leg or in a coat pocket?"
"I do but they are three galleons," he says.
Wincing a bit, I just shake my head at that and place my wand back in its box before feeling a drop of water hit my nose. Looking up I see the sky has gotten cloudier and seems about to pop.
"Let's get back inside and pay shall we," Diane asks also looking up to which both Ollivander and Minerva nod.
After paying for the wands and adding the boxes for them to our trunks we stepped outside under the overhang of Ollivander's shop before Minerva brought her wand out and flicked it overhead and the rain began to veer rather sharply as if impacting a bubble.
"A variation of the more common bubble head charm which can allow for underwater breathing. In this case however it repels water like an umbrella," she states to our questioning looks. I will definitely learn that when I find it or have Flitwick teach it to me.
"We should go and pick up the potion ingredients now. Afterwards your school robes will be ready, and you can pick up the dragonhide gloves then as well. They also should have some all-weather robes you can wear on the way home." Minerva advised, ushering us to a shop with cauldrons stacked haphazardly outside.
Inside she guides us over to an aisle that is sorted into years. "Just like the books everything here is already prepared in order to help make things simpler for students. However due to how costly potion ingredients can be I can't buy any extra for you with the fund." She says looking at me to which I simply shrug. I can just get my own later.
Upon paying and leaving, and Minerva again warding us against the rain, we proceed back to Madam Malkin's shop. Entering the assistant helps get our purchases in order and accepts the money for them.
Leaning closer to Rosalyn I ask if she minds my coming over at some point while waiting for September first to go through the books together. "I don't mind but my family might, but I live at Number Four Private Drive in Surrey. Don't be too surprised if they aren't too nice, they really don't seem to like magic." Was what I got, and to which I nodded.
Now that I "officially" knew where she lived my showing up won't be so odd. I guess I could have pulled the phonebook trick and simply said she mentioned Dursley before. Either way I can probably show up once or twice before it gets really odd that an orphan is able to afford to travel like that so often. Even once is going to be tricky.
As we move back to the Leaky Cauldron Minerva treats us to a late lunch before we set off out the front door and to the bus stop and reverse our morning trip in full. Getting off I saw Rosalyn waving at me, so I put a smile on and waved back before grabbing the end of my trunk and dragging the thing inside following Diane.
"Go ahead and take that to room three-one. That will be your room from now on since no one is supposed to know about that stuff aside from myself and Catherine," She instructs me. "I will go let Catherine know how the day went. I am fairly certain dinner will be at its usual time."
Walking off towards Catherines office she leaves me to drag my trunk up three flights of stairs. Finding the room, she indicated I open it up and see that it hasn't been used in for a while. I am guessing it is a room for older kids so they can have some form of privacy.
Setting the trunk down next to the bed I open it up and dump the books from my inventory into it before tapping on the trunk icon in it and observing it.
[Expanded Feather Light Trunk]
[Warning: This item has been charmed to set off proximity alarm wards at the trunk shop if it passes the ward line. Please note that having this in your inventory negates this. It is advised to not pass the through the doorway of the shop with this item in hand.]
[Time to charms expiration 12:22:34:51]
Looking at the books with observation I see similar charm warnings on them. I then retrieve my wand from its container and observe it to see the following.
[Elder Wood Wand w/? Core]
[This wand belongs to Richard with an 95% affinity rating]
[Created by a reckless Ollivander in his youth, he combined an unknown but powerful core with elder wood. Showing itself to be capable of incredible feats and possessing a fickle attitude he kept it locked away until a strange boy walked into his shop.]
[Created by a reckless Ollivander in his youth, he combined an unknown but powerful core with elder wood. It.]
Seeing no other information on it I guess Ollivander never put a tracking charm on it or they instead monitor an area with a magical registered as living there. Will have to check into that later.
Dragging my lawful trunk into the unlawful one I sort the clothes into the inner trunk and books on top of that except the first-year magical theory book before putting the potion ingredients next to them.
Hopping onto my new bed I open the book to wand movements and basic care. I spent the rest of the day reading it and learning from it, mostly about Intent and Will as the book puts them. From what I can tell the books literally tell you the three things you need to use magic is intent or the focus of what you want done, the willpower to see it done, and of course the magic to make it happen.
The spells such as Accio and Aguamenti are just mental triggers to help you focus on what you want done or what you are trying to achieve. Probably why silent spellcasting is taught later is that the younger you are the harder it is to focus on something.
While not exactly helpful it does put into context that the books will still be helpful. They can at least provide context to what a spell does, and I can go from there.
{Ping} [Tutorial]
[Now that you have some time to yourself let's continue the tutorial. With the following skill that is now unlocked please create an ID (Empty) (Instant dungeon)]
[Skills unlocked Create ID / Destroy ID, Create ID (Skeleton)]
Well, that's back. I was wondering when I was going to be able to finish it. Alright looking at the skills it seems all I need to do is create focus on using them similar to my observation. Speaking of which, my observation leveled up quite a bit from the trip to the Alley.
[Skill: Observation Lvl 5 9.375%]
Unfortunately, when I had the bright idea to try rescanning Rosalyn since she is close to me in level that I know is higher than myself. I also noticed that the experience I get for using it dropped to just around three percent or roughly thirty-two observations needed to level it each time now. That might increase as I hit higher levels, but I hope not. I guess the good news is I get experience regardless of what I scan so I'm just going to keep hitting everything I see with it.
Anyway, standing up and putting my wand in inventory I activate the dungeon creation skill and see the world shatter around me before reforming. 'Huh why didn't anything change?'
{Ping} [Welcome to the Dungeon (Empty) here you can either open up other dungeons or train and experience your skills without fear of damaging the surroundings in the real world. Effectively this can be considered the gaming version of the Mirror Dimension.]
[Please enter the skeleton dungeon now.]
Blinking at the message I realize this could be very good or very bad and grip my wand ever so tighter. Watching as the world shatters again the shards seem to simply slide out of sight either into the floor or into the air and fading away.
Then I hear a firm but wooden tapping sound that rattles each time. Looking at my door I see a shadow pass by in front of it.
I think that is a skeleton outside my room.
As the shadow under my door slides past, I see that I got a new message.
{Ping} [Tutorial Quest!]
[Slay 5 skeletons!]
[Reward: 100xp, 2 galleons]
Swiping the message away I look down at my wand before creeping over to the door, not sure if these Skeletons can hear or not. Opening the door, I gingerly poke my head out looking right towards the direction the skeleton went earlier and seeing it standing at the end of the hall. Looking back the other way I see it's clear.
Turning back towards the skeleton I point my wand at the skeleton before I realize something. I don't know any spells or magic skills! Using Observe I get the following information.
[Skeleton - Nothing special about this pile of reanimated bones. Just that they are moving. It would probably be best to make them stop.]
[Skeleton]
[Undead – Lvl 1]
[Hp 120] [Mana 0/0] [ Stamina 0/0]
Huh whiles that's not bad I still would rather have some kind of spell to attack with. Going back into my room I try to exit the dungeon.
{Ping} [Tutorial Quest!]
[Cannot leave ID until quest complete!]
Well, that's shit. Locking the door, I go over to the window and look through it and see the streets are mostly empty. Instead of normal people walking from place to place, all I see are skeletons. Not a terrible amount I don't think. Thirty-seven isn't bad, is it?
Reopening the door and thanking whoever made sure the doors weren't squeaky, I aim my wand at the skeleton still standing at the end of the hallway.
Forcing a chunk of mana, [-15 Mana], intoand out the other end I see a small, narrow bolt of darkness slam into the wall with a thud next to the skeleton.
The skeleton doesn't move at all. Either it can't hear me, or the system gave me a rather stupid mob to kill first. Moving closer so I at least have a better chance at hitting it, I send another chunk of mana, [-15 mana], at it this time hitting it.
[Skeleton]
[Undead – Lvl 1]
[Hp 100] [Mana 0/0] [ Stamina 0/0]
It turned around as I shot another blast of mana at it, missing it as it passed where there would have been entrails and such on a normal fleshy. Back tracking, I fired more shots off some hitting and some not with one or two passing through the ribs.
Firing off more rounds I wait till it gets close to see what would happen I am not disappointed when it overextends in a swipe from its right hand letting me duck underneath spinning to keep it in my sight and back track to the other end of the hall and begin firing off more shots of darkness.
As two more shots impact it with one in the leg and the other in the shoulder it simply crumbles into dust.

So that's why it wants me to kill five of them. It will at least get me a level. Finding that the bones is just a crafting component that I can't do anything with. I leave them in my inventory since they only take up a few pounds of space and move down the stairs looking around the bottom before actually setting foot on the landing below.
Also, now I have an actual skill to use [Shadow Wisp] and my mana is regening slowly. Welp, I guess I get to see if I can melee one down then. Looking down the hall I don't see another skeleton, but I do see plenty of doors that I crack open and peak through looking for another enemy.
I find it four doors down on the left. One skeleton level one again and oddly facing a corner. Opening the door wider I slip in partially and check the corners closest to me making sure I wasn't walking into an unlucky ambush as I highly doubt these things could plan one.
Not seeing anything I put the wand in my inventory, balled my right hand into a fist and punched as hard as I could, putting what little of my child's weight I could behind it into the spine of the thing.
{Ping}
Ignoring that, I saw that I did not only thirty-six damage but shoved it into the wall! Balling my other hand, I lash out with as many blows as I can repeatedly staggering it. After a flurry of blows and cheaply taking advantage of the fact these things seem to have no stagger resistance or anything like poise from Dark Souls (Now there is a world I am not sure I want to go to or not) my last punch, late to the party, passes through the disintegrating dusty remains and slams into the wall behind it much to my painful displeasure.
[-5 hp]
"Shit. Fucking hell, I really need to stop hitting things I can't punch through like that." I mutter through clenched teeth and holding my now throbbing hand.
{Ping} [Skill Learned, Loot Acquired, XP gained!]
[Skill Learned: Unarmed Combat]

Shaking my hand to try and alleviate the pain, I look around the room and see nothing else of interest and make my way out. Looking into the other rooms I find another two skeletons causing me to gently shut the door and look at my mana to find it is at thirty-three, giving me only two shots. Deciding that it's not worth the risk at the moment, I looked for another lone target and found it down on the ground floor near Dianes office.
Creeping up behind it to try something new, I kick its right leg in the knee joint and as it falls forward, I kick again into its back laying it out. Stepping onto its left arm I begin to stomp onto its back and get to see its health dwindling causing me to stomp harder aiming for its skull. It implodes under my shoe clad foot and nearly deposits me onto my ass from the sudden lack of support.
Waving away the loot screen seeing I got the same as the last one minus a new skill I begin checking the offices, dining room, and kitchen for more easy kills and find them. In the dining room I find three skeles, with one being nearby, one closer to the middle of the long table, and the third and last not too far from it. Seeing that I can at least fire off five shots of [Shadow Wisp] I slip behind the one closest and repeat to it what I did to the one outside as the other two begin to make their way over to me. Stomping a last time, I fire a wisp into the back of its skull shattering it before kiting around the table and running to the other end.
As the two skeletons begin to make their way around the end of the table, I move around it causing one of them to start clambering onto it and the other to walk around again. Sprinting up to the one on the table I punch it in the head as it's bringing its other leg up onto the table causing it to slide off the table from lack of grip due to it being made from bone.
Bone doesn't provide the best source of friction on smooth surfaces and now I am understanding why they are so slow. They risk falling down if they move too fast.
Running over to the other one clearing the end of the table I bait it into attacking before juking behind it and kicking it in the leg causing it to fall before finishing it off with a few kicks to the head and a wisp to seal the deal just as the other skeleton clears the end of the table and moving a bit more urgently now but as I said it's boney feet are sliding on the linoleum flooring of the kitchen.
I let it come at me stepping back from the table, so I have some extra room for safety and wait to bait an attack out of the soon to be dusted bone set. As it swings at me I once again juke behind it and lash out with another kick knocking it to its knees and kicking at its head to deal some extra damage and bring it down to the ground fully.
Once it is down, I fire off the remaining wisps I have and finish off the last skeleton I needed.

It is advised to only exit in places with little to no foot traffic to avoid complications with your experience. Also, daily quests are now unlocked.]
[Have a nice night.]
The fuck is with that last sentence. Also, can I exit anywhere? 'System is there anything that can interfere with dungeon create? Such as preventing the transfer to it?'
{Ping} [Only Fellow Gamers can restrict access to dungeons to prevent escape in PvP scenarios. This however requires a higher level or an item from the Gamer Shop auction house created by other gamers.]
[Note: Gamer Shop is locked until level 50 to prevent P2W in the early game.]
I guess that's good, minus that bit about player versus player crap and the shop being locked to level fifty.
I am going to need a few more levels before I head back to Diagon and there are plenty of walking experience piles wandering about outside and two a floor up. Time to grind.

A/N Alright here is chapter 2. Sorry if anyone thought that it got dropped, I was mapping out the timeline for the four fandoms I have going on. Safe to say one of them has the entire first season planned out with a few changes to the dates and as I get closer to it more and more changes will occur. Unfortunately, the next chapter will probably take even longer as I still need to watch a few more movies to get a few general dates planned out in advance.
The first year will proceed a bit closer to the original plot from Rowling with the exception of any exp bags Richard encounters and he knows he won't get crap for claiming.
Also, the second and last gender bend has been located. Hopefully no one minds cause they either are popular in some niches or straight ignored in most others it seems. Out of a 100-sided die I rolled a 2. I'm not going to argue with it but still only Rosy and the other I need to worry about beyond altered friendships.
If you haven't realized it Ron more than likely won't be best friend to Rosalyn. Probably be Hermione since they will share a dorm. Hell could be Lavander or Parvati. Also, Dursley's being somewhat nicer to her could alter how her sorting goes. It really is interesting seeing how many ways things can change from something as different as gender and appearance in far off timelines.
Next chapter will have a bit more Rosalyn in it as well as the first idea of what might be from one of the fandoms making an early appearance. I am going to try to not spoil what one it comes from but thanks to two of the fandoms existing in a way that is almost perfect for more Fics to the point I am surprised they don't have more crossovers.
Please note the timeline, while you can't see it at this point in time, does exist and I will be adding onto to it. Hopefully I don't have to go back and edit older chapters but if it happens it happens.
As always this is fanfiction my posting of it does not equal ownership of any aspect of it beyond what original bits that don't exist in any of the art works already owned by others. Richard is mine, however, considering he is based loosely off my personality with a greater degree of freedom to do whatever he wants.
