Time to continue on with the winter times here, and someone trying to spend time with the others and do whatever he can to try and make up for everything that went down long ago during Christmas, let's see where this shit goes for Lance Loud. Enjoy reading this new chapter folks!

"Snow Day at Camp Mastodon."
(December 23. Camp Mastodon.)
Another decent morning here at Camp and at the mess hall this is where everyone is meeting for breakfast. The ones from Royal Woods have brought their food over and the food looks many and plenty and this surprises Leonard Loud.
"Wow guys! You all know how to make plenty of food and those fish fillet salmons smell amazing!" He seems more interested in the salmon fillet.
Blitz smirks. "There are a lot of us and we all need the energy to get through whatever the hell this week has. Also, I had some help with the cooking." He then high fives with Moxxie, Millie, Ruby, Caroline Linnaeus, Mara Mayberry, Verosika, Velvette and Loona.
Leonard chuckles. "Always all so talented with cooking and… Oh boy." They then see the other Louds: Lance, Sharon, Shane, Shelby and Shiloh and they have this diet food with them. Leonard sighs. "I think we also forgot to tell them about what they cook."
Moxxie looks closely to the food. "What the heck? Is that all tofu food?"
"That is so messed up to look at" replies Vaggie. "Eggs and what looks like sausages? Bacon?"
Sharon then speaks. "It's tofu scrambled eggs. Also, that is a lot of food."
Loona then speaks. "We've got a lot of food to eat because of the rest of this day to deal with. Also this is healthy too."
"That's right!" cheered Blitz and he has his cook book. "I make a lot of my food delicious and healthy and brought with me exactly what I needed to make food taste awesome and prove that I am the best dang cook ever!"
They all remember that they can't curse because of rhe presence of the cousins. They seem to agree but some of the others don't like it.
Lance sighs. "Well, we are happy with what you guys have and we'll enjoy…" they spot Shane, Shelby and Shiloh drooling at the sight of the food. "But, can my kids have some of the food you are serving?"
The others look to each other but then Lilith speaks. "Very well then." Velvette grabs three plates and she has some food on it and hands it to the Loud cousins and they all go to their own table and enjoy the food. Shelby and her siblings love this food, and it tastes amazing.
The ones from Royal Woods are enjoying their own food and Gramps gets some food there and he goes to Lance and his family. Lance then asks. "Hey dad. Do you wanna try this tofu sauce, dad? It could help knock in five more years into you."
Gramps thinks about this and he looks to the salmon fillet he's eating. "Ummm, no thanks kiddo. I'm good here." He then enjoys his breakfast and Leonard has some tears of joy at what he's eating.
The others just talk about what they got planned today. Lance sighs and he thinks about this. 'Maybe if I can show that I have something in common with some other's then, everything will be okay!'
Sharon notices her husband has a plan and she needs to be sure it doesn't turn kinda bad.
(Later.)
Outside, the snowy area is already filled with fun times. Snow forts are made and we see Velvette with Luna, Leni, Lori and Lily are playing a snowball fight against Shane, Vark, Albert and Myrtle.
Shiloh and EveLynn are at the top of the hill and sledding. EveLynn is keeping an eye on Shiloh and then Lincoln and Blitz show up with their sleds. "Now this looks like a good view kid" replied Blitz. They watch as Lana goes down the hill on her large sled with Bobbie Fletcher.
"Dang right. I like it when it snows to enjoy this time and the whole sledding thing. Also I got a message from Jordan and she's enjoying herself and wishes I was there. Well, I wish she were here" replied Lincoln.
Blitz smirks. "Well, a lot of folks have their own plans this December and Christmas. We got our own plans for spending some winter fun… but to be honest, being here at Camp Mastodon was a different change but a good one. Now, things are different and something we didn't see coming."
"It's so good to be here am I right?" they both turn around and see it is Lance Loud. "Hey guys. Mind if I tag along?" but then Lincoln goes down the snowy hill on his own. Lance then looks to Blitz. "What about you, ummm… Blitz?"
The imp puts on some sunglass. "Yeah. I don't think we even wanna have whatever it is you wanna do big guy." He then uses his sled but backwards and he races down the hill. But he doesn't see where he's going and hits a pile of snow. "I'm fine! A stump broke my fall… and Ow!"
Lance sighs and he sees EveLynn and Shiloh looking to him confused and they sled down the hill. So Lance heads off somewhere else to do something.
Shiloh then asks EveLynn something. "Can you teach ne skiing off a mountain?" EveLynn is shocked that this kid wants to do that.
(Soon.)
At the frozen lake and it is legit frozen to thick ice. We see Lucifer ice skating with his beloved Lilith and it looks like they are waltzing on ice. Charlie and Vaggie hold hands as they skate on the ice, and Vaggie is trying her best but she sees Lori and Leni on the ice and they are pros at this.
Verosika skates by them and she looks graceful. Blitz then joins her and not too far are Moxxie and Millie and they feel that this is a romantic time for them. Velvette skates by and is wearing headphones and jamming to the beat and ice skating.
Lincoln walks by with his sled and he smiles seeing this and so does Shelby. "Wow. The frozen lake looks like something out if Disney Land."
Lincoln chuckles. "Yeah. But without the weird mascots." He then sees his mother Loona at the porch of the nearby cabin and drinking some hot chocolate and so the duo head over for some.
Sharon is also skating on the ice alongside her son Shane. Luna sits nearby and she is tuning her acoustic and just doing some small tunes to calm the day, Shane wants her to help him with something later and she accepts. But then someone else is on the ice and that's Lance Loud.
"Hey there guys. Anyone up for some ice hockey?" he has hockey gear and then EveLynn and Shiloh arrive and are confused. Also they're wondering when he even brought that with him. "We can have a small family friendly game."
They all remain silent. Lilith then asks. "Is he trying to ruin this moment?"
Vaggie then speaks as she tries to remain balanced. "I don't think any of us have the time to do that when this is already a good and fun time."
Lance then chuckles. "Come on. Just one game gang." He then sees EveLynn. "How about you? I know the sporty girl wants to game on right?"
EveLynn sighs. "I've changed from the whole wanting to win gimmick and just being a good sport and respectful and right now I respect everyone's choice with using the frozen lake for something more calming and peaceful."
Lance is surprised to hear this and EveLynn and Shiloh head back inside for some hot chocolate. Lance looks to the others and sees them all minding their own business and just ice skating. "What the heck is wrong with ice hockey?"
"Son." Gramps shows up. "Hey, I get that you wanna sound time with everyone else. But it seems kike they have their own plans and earlier Loona told me about what they really had planned back in Royal Woods."
Lance is confused. "And what might that be?"
Leonard then explains. "They wanted to spend their own little Family get together at Blitz's restaurant." He then looks down with regret. "I feel like I should have never sent those invites and let them be."
Lance then speaks. "Dad don't say that. Look I know that things have changed and to be honest, I wish I was there to stop Lynnie and his wife for what they have done. But my anger for him got the best of me and ai appreciate what you're doing. They just need some time to…"
"No, Lance you don't understand" replied Gramps and this surprise Lance. "They have been through a lot and suffering quite a lot and… they just wanna be left in peace and away from everything that they have been through. But then again, I am still to blame for Lynn and everything he has become. For not being there for him a lot."
Lance also feels bad for his father and then he has an idea. "Wait. Dad, what if we take them out to get a Christmas tree?"
(Later in the afternoon.)
We now see a small group walking in the woods, composed of: Gramps Leonard Loud, Lance Loud, Loona Silva Hound, Lincoln Silva Hound, Shelby, Blitz and Albert. They have axes, and even chainsaws. Though, Blitz is the one with the chainsaw, and Lincoln brought his claw gloves which he hasn't used.
Loona looks around. "So, we're gonna get a tree from out here? Seems far from the others at the camp and do you guys know where we're going?"
Lance then replies. "Of course we know where we're going. Right gramps? We've been down these snowy pathways for a long time."
Lincoln then speaks to Loona and Blitz. "If we get lost, we use our tracking skills to find camp." They all agree and then they stop and see this large tree.
Blitz whistles. "Nice tree and all. But she's way too big. Unless you wanna cut the top."
Lance smirks. "We can figure something out. Right Gramps?"
Gramps nods. "Then let's do this thing!" but then Shelby looks closely to the tree and she gets in the way and Leonard stops. "What the heck? Shelby what are you doing?"
Loona then speaks. "You could've gotten yourself killed kid!"
Shelby then explains. "Gramps everyone… look!" they see initials on the tree, of those from previous folks who have walked by her during their camp day and now Leonard remembers everything.
"I know this tree. This is the very same tree where who has been to Camp Mastodon for the first time mark their names as a way to remember who came there before. We can't cut this one down! She's too important!"
Lance then asks. "Well, then where do we find a tree for Christmas?" just then a loud thumping is heard and they see that Blitz is almost done and he uses his axe and he does one last chop and then he yells.
"Timber!"
They watch as the tree falls and then Lincoln and Luna use their claws to cut down some leaves and Blitz smirks. "While you two were busy talking, I looked around and found this perfect beauty." He then puts the axe away. "So, we all good here? We about ready to head back?"
Leonard looks to the tree and he smiles. "This tree looks great and we didn't crash her onto a car, or get attacked by squirrels or even accidentally chopping down an electric post." He seems kinda nervous and Lance tries to hold in his laughter. The others are confused.
Lance then explains everything that's ever happened back when they would get a tree. The tree would crash onto Vanzilla, the tree would have squirrels and attack Leonard and then he mistook an electric post for a tree and there was no electricity for a month.
Blitz, Loona, Lincoln, Shelby and Albert laugh hearing this and so does Lance. Leonard sighs and remembers all those times. "Yup. Those were not the best times for me. I really wonder why I keep going through all of that." Loona, Lincoln and Blitz haul the tree back and even Lance.
They all head back to the mess hall and setup the tree and add the decorations. Then they combine the two tables and place down the food and enjoy some dinner and for once Lance's Loud family didn't serve anything tofu or diet related and they enjoy the food Blitz has made.
Lance is amazed and impressed by the taste of this food and he sees everyone getting along and he smiles and remembers. 'I think they're right. I started the problem between myself and Lynnie. I should've just made up to him and… but that's all done and gone. I guess all I can do now is, spend time with these folks and see this season through.'
They all continue this nice Family Dinner and look forward to tomorrow. Then Charlie asks. "Hey guys. What the heck happened to Shiloh here and why does he has a cast?" that one is kinda hard to explain.
"To be continued folks!"
A/N: Despite the fact things nearly became something else less than calming or understanding, at least he's given a chance to be trusted and perhaps this winter season won't be so bad after all. I hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter folks!
