1. Introduction

Welcome one and all to something new. Hard to believe we're doing this so quickly after the last one. But hey, here we are. So what do we have on the plate for today? Something I've actually thought about doing for a really long time, but never got around to doing. Today, we're bringing one of my favorite modern police procedurals: SWAT.

I'll say it, one of the best of CBS' remakes, considering its the only one that's actually outlasted the original series. That's right. the Shemar Moore lead SWAT remake has lasted for going on seven seasons as of now, while the original only lasted for two. Then again, that kind of makes sense: when the original series came out, SWAT teams as a concept were really new while they're commonplace now. So, that's a thing.
