Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap were on the Secret Temple Clearance.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked thirty two steps forward.

"Are you ready for this?" Spyro asked.

"I'm scared." Whirlwind said.

"Just stay close to me." Spyro said.

Then the gates opened up.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked and entered Malefor's Lair and walked sixteen steps forward.

"At long last, my guests have arrived. Please… come in. Such determination to get here. It seems we share other qualities besides that of our color." Malefor said.

"No, I'm nothing like you!" Spyro said as Malefor's elevator went to the bottom.

"Is that what you think? Hmm… We'll get to that." Malefor said as he went around Spyro.

"Don't listen to him, Spyro. Don't listen to anything he says." Whirlwind said as Malefor went around her too.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind turned to Malefor.

"You look so weary. Allow me to make you more comfortable." Malefor said.

Then Malefor realized something.

"But before I could do this thing to all of you, I need to ask the others something." Malefor said.

"What?" Ronald and Cynder asked.

Then Malefor looked at Ronald and Cynder.

"Ronald and Cynder, I know you both have been chained together for the very moment you both woke up from a crystallized nap, but do you want me to take the collars off?" Malefor asked.

"No, thank you, and the same thing goes for Sunburn, Camo, and Zap." Ronald and Cynder said.

Sunburn, Camo, and Zap nodded.

"I see. Then I will let you two still be chained together and the other three will still be chained together." Malefor said to Ronald and Cynder.

Then Malefor turned to Spyro and Whirlwind.

"Now back to what I was saying before… You look so weary. Allow me to make you more comfortable." Malefor said.

Then Malefor used his magic and removed the Green Snake Collars.

"There. That's better, isn't it? It's the least I could do for you, Whirlwind. You've done so much for me" Malefor said.

"You used her and you forced her to use Ronald and then forced her to force Ronald to use Cynder!" Spyro said.

"I used her. She used you. What does it matter, really?" Malefor asked.

"What does he mean?" Spyro asked.

"What… he doesn't know. Go on, tell him. You mustn't leave him in the dark…" Malefor said.

"Tell me what?" Spyro asked.

"How she lured you into the Well Of Souls… how she tricked you into freeing me." Malefor said.

"You're lying!" Whirlwind said.

"Hmm… I find it peculiar how you've chosen to remember things." Malefor said to Whirlwind.

"Let me assure you. It was you who freed me, Spyro. And you who brought me back." Malefor said.

"And we have Whirlwind to thank for that. Hahahahaha." Malefor said.

"Whirlwind? Is it true?" Spyro asked.

"No… I don't know… I don't know anymore…" Whirlwind said.

"Oh, I think you do. But perhaps you need a little nudge." Malefor said as he stared at Whirlwind and made her go up in the air and enveloped her in a green aura and turned her to Ivy Whirlwind.

"Whirlwind!" Spyro said.

"Hahahahahaha!" Malefor laughed.

Then Ivy Whirlwind went back on the ground.

"Whirlwind! No!!!!" Spyro said.

"Ignitus and Aquafa should have warned you… You are alone here, young dragon. Always have been and always will be." Malefor said.

"He's not alone!" Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap said.

"Oh? Is that so? Then prove your worth and battle Whirlwind if you believe that he's not alone." Malefor said.

"We will." Sunburn, Camo, and Zap said.

Then Sunburn, Camo, and Zap went to fight Whirlwind.

"And I will too." Cynder said.

Then Cynder went to fight Whirlwind.

"Ronald, please don't tell me that you are going too." Spyro said.

"I'm sorry, Spyro, but I am going too and the reason why is because Cynder is my girlfriend and I can't allow her to get hurt and I can't let my friends get hurt either." Ronald said.

Then Ronald went to fight Whirlwind.

Then Whirlwind used a Poison Wind and defeated Sunburn, Camo, and Zap, making them fly and then land on the ground.

Then Whirlwind began fighting with Ronald and Cynder.

Then Whirlwind turned to Cynder and used a Poison Wind but Ronald jumped up and shielded Cynder and it made him fly into the air and then land on the ground.

Then Whirlwind turned to Spyro and used a Poison Wind but Cynder jumped up and shielded him and it made her fly into the air and then land on the ground.

"Cynder, Ronald, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap!" Spyro said.

"See, little dragon. Your friends are dead. You are alone now. And still, here you are… still desperately trying to save this miserable world… refusing to accept the true role of the Purple Dragon.

Then Whirlwind attacked Spyro and made him fly and land on the ground.

"I'm sure you've been told that I was the first of our kind… but I assure you, there have been many. It has been our duty of predecessors to resurrect the Destroyer and the Golems of the deep to bring about the Great Cleansing." Malefor said as Whirlwind walked towards Spyro.

Then Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap regained consciousness and woke up.

Then Whirlwind attacked Spyro and made him fly and land on the ground.

"What is Spyro doing?! He's going to get himself killed?! We want to help but we're too injured to move!" Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap said to themselves.

"This is the true nature of your kind. Your destiny is to destroy the world." Malefor said.

"No, I don't believe that." Spyro said.

"Of course you don't. But you have fulfilled your destiny nonetheless. In my time, I was stopped… prevented from completing my quest. But you… you have carried the flame… be it through your own will or not." Malefor said as Spyro got up as Malefor said his third sentence.

"And soon, the world will be destroyed, with you and your friends along with it." Malefor said.

"No…" Spyro said as Whirlwind walked towards him.

Then Whirlwind attacked Spyro again and made him fly and land on the ground.

"Fight back!" Whirlwind said.

Then Spyro got up and shielded himself with his wings.

Then Whirlwind attacked Spyro again but this time with her tail and did it again and again and again and again.

"Hahahahahahahahaha!" Malefor said.

Then Whirlwind attacked Spyro again but this time with her tail and did it again and again and again and again.

"Fight back! Why won't you fight back?!" Whirlwind asked.

"Because you left me nothing to fight for." Spyro said.

Whirlwind was so touched by this that she managed to break out of Malefor's spell and returned to her regular self.

"There's always something." Whirlwind said.

"Argh! So be it! You've made your choice and so you shall suffer the same fate!" Malefor said.

Then Malefor put the Green Snake Collars back on Spyro and Whirlwind.

Then Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked back to their previous spots and turned to Malefor.

"We're impressed that you managed to break Whirlwind free of Malefor's control, Spyro." Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap said.

"Thanks, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap. Wait… how are you still alive?!" Spyro asked.

"We were only unconscious though, but we were pretending to be dead to fool Malefor." Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap said.

"So, you five think you can play games like that? So it seems that you have made your choice and that you will suffer the same fate!" Malefor said.

"Prepare to die!" Malefor said.

Then Malefor flew up into the sky and entered the center of Malefor's Lair.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap flew up into the sky and entered Malefor's Lair through the hole.

Then Malefor went up
