Set in 2024, the book follows five original demigods; runaway lone wolf Tommy, Camp Half-Blood alumni Anna, and a centurion of the Third Cohort, Jessica, on a quest with Samuel and Gabriel to capture the ghost of Aeneas. A bunch of lost young adults with ADHD going on a road trip across the US. With monsters and swords. And ghosts. And godly parents.

You know, I used to be a normal kid with no worries on my mind. Then I found out gods, as in the forces called the Greek gods, great beings that control the forces of nature and human endeavors, are very much real. And one of them is apparently my parent. Things aren't ever going to be normal again, but at least they won't be boring.

Gabe definitely wasn't a nice guy, but Percy is used to suppressing his emotions and keeping to himself about the abuse. However, when Leo has a mini-breakdown, and Percy recognizes some of the signs, he decides to open up to help his friend.

Who we are, were, and will be is as much our choice as a collection of decisions made for us. For Percy and Bianca, the choices they make and the futures they choose will, one way or the other, collide. Atop the Green Wall, they can hope and reflect. What happens when prophecy is broken? Percy takes the sky from Artemis during the fight with Atlas, but things don't go according to plan. When Artemis flees, she leaves Percy behind. Atlas marches on Olympus, threatening to destroy the gods and the entire moral world. Kronos, believing himself victorious, leaves Percy to suffer. He should have died. He didn't.

Sometime after the ultimate defeat of the fearsome Python and Lester Papadopoulos regaining his divinity, the spirit of Delphi issued a new prophecy, one about a old and forgotten enemy of Olympus. This coincides with the arrival of Paul Andrade to Camp Half-Blood, a new demigod who is about to embark in an adventure to locate the first mortal who mocked the gods.

Just finishing off a high-profile case Annabeth Chase, an investigator for the Senate, crosses paths with a Jedi Knight. After tracking him down she is drawn deep into the conflict between the Jedi and Sith Council. Before long the lines between friend and foe quickly become indistinguishable.

"Hey, Princess." She tries to hold back an audible groan while pointedly ignoring what has become the bane of her existence, Percy Jackson. "What do you want, Jackson?" Let the games begin.

"Hey," Percy said gently. "It'll be okay, I promise. Why don't you want to sleep?" Annabeth was trembling. "I can't get this fear out of my head," she whispered, "that I'm going to wake up and you'll be gone again."
