8 years after the fall of Luna lobo.
Ben and Gwen were out playing while Kevin was on the patio just watching as Carl hands him a letter and says it's time you learn the Truth of what happened when your dad died.
Dear Kevin if you are seeing this then I am dead and vilgax got me hopefully your Aunt Sue and cousin Ben are with you. The plumers and vilgax have been at odds for far too long. Your Aunt was stationed on Luna lobo to help the loboan fight vilgaxs troops during her 3 years there she fell in love with the king of Luna lobo Nickolai the wolf king your cousin Bens father. After a year they had married and just before the planet fell she gave birth to Ben.
In a last ditch effort to save the loboan from extinction sue and ben had to leave the planet to head to Earth to find Ben's betrothed Gwen Tennyson daughter of a loboan named Natalie Tennyson who has been hiding on earth. She has been taking a special medicine from the plumers to keep her natural instincts from acting up. They are to go into hiding till the time is right for Ben and Gwen to marry.
Nickolai is holding vilgax off but will not last long. I feel bad that you and ben will have to grow up without your parents. But there isn't much that can be done at this point.
Vilgax has sent battle craft after sue and ben. I am escorting them to Earth in a plumer battle cruiser but it's not equipped to deal with these numbers so as I write this I hope that my sacrifice will buy enough time for sue and ben to escape.
I tell you this so that when the time comes you will help your cousin fight against vilgax and keep him and Gwen safe I am counting on you and max Tennyson to keep them safe. Paradox has told of a time when vilgax will fall and that the son of the wolf king would be the one to do it. Paradox has never been wrong before so it's up to you protect our family.

Kevin begins to read another letter address to Ben
Dear Ben this is from your grandpa max
The ship you and your mother were on didn't make it to Earth without damage and crashed a mile from the spot it was supposed to land by the time I got there it was to late to save your mother her last words were for me to keep you safe if you are reading this then it means you have awaken to you fathers abilities and have taken Gwen as you wife. You have to hide and keep both you and Gwen safe as by this point she will most likely be expecting the first of your future children. Natalie, Frank and Carl and myself have set up a cave in the woods in yellow stone park that will be able to keep you both safe. Should the time come the rust bucket has an auto drive mode that will take you there once you get there you will begin your training to fight vilgax. Do whatever is necessary to stop him and protect you family.

Kevin looks over to Ben and Gwen as they are playing, and says to himself "I will do everything I can to keep you safe," as he began to call Max Tennyson with his cell.
Max: hey Kev whatcha calling about this time
Kevin: I want you to train me to fight so when vilgax comes I'll be ready.
Max: so you read the letter...
Kevin: yes I will not let them face vilgax alone
Max: very well we begin tomorrow.
