One could only fathom what was going on in the young seeker's mind. He was so overwhelmed with what he was now remembering that he went silent. His mind had been opened to everything… everything! He needed to rest. Talk about a massive information overload. Starscream meandered his way to his room and stared at the wall. His mind was trying to wrap around how he could remember not remembering something that he remembered.

Yeah…

How old was he?

He turned his head slightly as someone began to walk past his door. Since it had not been shut at the time, that someone stopped mid stride and looked at him. They must not have liked the look on his face, because they seemed worried and scuttled off. He wasn't glaring at them; in fact, he didn't even look at them. He barely understood that he could feel them before they approached. The seeker turned his head back around and let out what could only be a sigh.

This was going to be an absolute nightmare. The door slid shut and locked and he wasn't about to take visitors, no matter who it was.

The Cybertronians had all been lied to. Someone had erased them from any history that he could remember. Why would they do that? They saved the Allspark and locked away one of the most hideous creatures in the cosmos. Locked him in another galaxy, in fact, because who would want to come up against that again? Sure, a couple of followers had managed to escape, but that still doesn't explain why they'd been erased. Primus had assigned High Circuitmaster Boltax to everything, and Boltax' loyalty was unwavering, just like his own. Boltax must have known something was up. Didn't he?

Optimus would have had no idea what he was witnessing on that monitor. He only knows what he'd been told, same as everyone else and that included himself until today. Which was absolutely nothing but a story made up to cover up the truth. They had all been told the Allspark had been found. They had been told of Thirteen workers who supposedly found the Allspark in a cave. It wasn't found. It was created. In fact, it had been one of the things besides the Matrix of Leadership to hold Unicron in confinement.

They had never been told of Unicron, either. That should have been one of the more important things to know, since he would most definitely break his chains and become an issue again. The Allspark had been destroyed. Its energy had been scattered and lost to the stars. That meant the barriers to keep Unicron away were now weakened. Yes, he's likely to have broken them already and is just trying to figure his way.

Deciding this was all too much to think about, he decided to get some air. The walls were stifling. As he walked, he considered this, most important of all: History had also forgotten the Thirteen warriors and their names. He couldn't for the life of him think of a reason why the stories had been changed, or how. He now knew who he was.

Starscream made his way from the corridor of his quarters near the rec room. He didn't even look into the room as he stopped by the threshold and listened to the others talking amid themselves. Thundercracker and Skywarp both turned simultaneously, looking at him before any of the others had. As if they had heard him call to them. No one noticed him standing there at first, but one by one, they stopped talking, looking at each other curiously before they had even turned to see what had caused the other two seekers to stop talking and look. Starscream's presence seemed different somehow. It was as if his presence alone was invoking trepidation to run through the sparks and guts of all present.

Skywarp tilted his head at the young seeker. A feeling that overcame him and crept into his own spark, "Starscream?" he asked. They somehow knew it was him causing this feeling and they were confused.

"Not now, Skywarp," Starscream replied evenly, his head turning to look down the corridor, then back to the black seeker as if he were looking for something. He knew he was being stared at while his green optics glanced at them all. He watched them all watch him. "The hell are you staring at?" he asked them all, his optics furrowing.

Frustrating. He stared a moment longer at them all forcing them to break their gaze first. As soon as the last one looked back to what they were doing he started toward the main entrance to the building.

"Starscream, wait!" Thundercracker called as he quickly got up from his seat, Skywarp following.

"What is it, Thundercracker?" Starscream stopped, glancing sideways at the other mech over his shoulder.

"What was that all about?"

"What do you mean?"

"That look you gave everyone."

Starscream didn't answer him. A soft 'hn' resonated from him before he turned his head and started back for the door.

Thundercracker was at a sudden loss of words. "Will flying help whatever is going on with you?" He asked stupidly.

"Nothing but getting answers will help right now," the young Seeker said, still avoiding optic contact.

Well that had to be one of the more unusual things to come from Starscream's vocal processor, "What answers? What's wrong?"

Starscream turned his head slightly to peer at his wing mate from the corner of his optic and a smirk appeared. He knew his friend would understand that look. It was the 'You really don't want to know' look. The young seeker leapt out the door, transformed and disappeared into the sky without a word.

"What was all that about?" Skywarp stepped up behind Thundercracker, watching Starscream disappear toward the sky.

"I don't know," the bluish colored jet answered. "I'm wondering what in the pit he got into this time," He contemplated the look from Starscream. He knew he was going to find out anyway. "Did you see his optics?"

"No… why?"

"They were… green."

"Green? What does that mean?"

Thundercracker peered toward the door where their wing mate left them. "Not sure. I say we give him a little time. Whatever he's going through, I'm sure he will tell us. When he's ready, he'll talk. We just need to be there to listen."

Skywarp put his hands on his hips as he followed Thundercracker's line of sight. "If we know 'Screamer at all, it's gonna be good."

Yeah, but, this is different somehow."

Back in his office, Optimus stared at the data pad he had yet to even turn on. Too many things about his encounter with Starscream earlier had his mind reeling. What was the youngling going on about? Why was he acting so cryptic? Why did he leave this feeling with him when he left, like a forewarning he was sure not going to like later?

The sound of his door opening made him break away from his thoughts as he looked up, seeing his CME, "Can I help you, Wheeljack?"

"Actually, yes, I was wondering if you have cleared Starscream as of yet?"

"No, I'm sorry, something has come up," Optimus looked down again, his thoughts going back to the previous hours. Wheeljack could sense that something was wrong with his leader, "Is everything okay, sir?"

"Wheeljack," Optimus started to say something, and then he sighed, defeated. There was no way he could possibly put into words what had happened in the med bay and what they witnessed, "Never mind," he didn't even look up.

"Very well, Optimus," Wheeljack frowned slightly with disappointment and headed for his own lab. He wanted to ask Starscream what those memories were. All who witnessed it were curious and confused.

In the sky, Starscream broke the sound barrier as he flew. Going over his now clear memories, he had died so many times and was reborn into someone new, still not himself. He knew why he was reborn this time. He now knew all of the end, it showed him he had no reasonevents leading up to fear histhis moment. The Allspark. His many menial lives until he joined the Decepticons. He continued to file them away as they flooded him, showing him everything he had apparently been forced to forget, including that tyrant Megatron.

And speaking of Megatron… As he began to remember things he had forgotten, he was curious at himself as to why he stuck around him. After all, Megatron was never kind to him as far as he could remember. Why had he remained practically by his side through all of that torture, even going so far as staying his Second in Command? Was it some kind of deep-rooted programming in his spark? Perhaps it was a better way to keep an optic on him, because he was the Lord High Protector of the Allspark and Cybertron. Why did he follow him again? Why had he joined with the Decepticons in the first place? Maybe it was that promise of power, one he, at the time, truly believed belonged to him.

He spun barrel rolls in the clouds as his thoughts drifted, deciding to do a search into his memory for everything that had to do with Megatron. He figured to find his answers, he would have to root through them all and hopefully get a lead. He didn't have much information on him – Only as much as he had seen him or been around him. He searched though all of his downloaded data, seeking anything that could help him. He did find out one thing, and it wasn't all that surprising. Megatron was old as dirt, 'That makes all of us,' he thought to himself as he flew on, hell, Megatron was older than Optimus himself was.

And come to think of it, Optimus was someone to look into also, but not right now.

He snorted, trudging deeper into his memory files as he searched for answers, leading back to before Optimus was Prime. Before Sentinel Prime. Each time, Starscream had been watching him or been by his side. It was around that time that made his wing dip as he flew, watching the memories about the Lord High Protector. What he began to remember made him gasp sharply, his engines sputtered. Megatron was an ancient, just like himself. And not just any of them, oh no, he was one of the worst ones. He dipped sideways, his rudders pulling harshly as he turned himself around, making his way back to the base. He couldn't tell anyone right away of what he had remembered. He already knew they knew nothing of their very own past, so telling them would be moot right now. He needed to get his mind straight and make sure they would all accept what he would eventually tell them.

A few questions remained as he flew, however. It didn't make any sense to him as to how Megatron was who he was, and how he managed to escape, although it did answer some questions about his betrayal and possibly why he wanted the Allspark for himself, even if Megatron himself didn't realize what was going on. There was no doubt in his mind that if he'd managed to escape, he was sure the monster would find a way as well. "Primus, my Liege, where are you now?" He asked to no one in particular. He decided that he needed to get back to him. Perhaps some answers could come from Primus himself, given the Cybertronians hadn't destroyed him in their war, which was not beyond the realm of possibility.

Back at the base, the thunder of engines filled the air as Starscream landed hard on the ground. He started past others who looked to him curiously, the look on his faceplates was more of frustration than anything. He was on his way to his creator's office, he knew needed to talk to him immediately. He pushed past them without a thought as he nearly ran, knocking a few of them out of the way. The door opened on it's own accord, yet Optimus didn't have to worry about who had opened it. Starscream found Optimus deep in thought. The leader looked up in slight surprise at being interrupted from his thoughts, "Something wrong, Starscream?"

"I need to go back to Primus," Starscream suddenly muttered as he shut the door behind himself, making sure no one else heard.

Optimus hiked an optic ridge. That had to be one the strangest comments thus far, "What do you mean 'back to Primus'?"

"I keep forgetting about the way you all were taught," Starscream looked away as if thinking, then looked back, "Cybertron. I – we need to go back."

"Cybertron? Why didn't you just say that?" Optimus asked, "Why would you need to go back to Cybertron?"

"Primus – Cybertron, Cybertron – Primus – What none of you understand, is they're both one in that it's all the same." Starscream's personality seemed change in that instant, "I cannot grasp how… how much you all do not know! It's incredible that someone would go to such lengths to erase our true history. The question is why?"

The Leader was curious as to Starscream's outburst, but didn't question it, feeling there had to be a reason behind it, "Then tell me," Optimus offered, "here and now, spill it all," his voice took on a demanding tone.

"None of you are ready for it," Starscream looked to the side in frustration, away from his creator's intense stare. "Not yet, anyway."

"You are hiding something Starscream," Optimus accused.

"So what if I am?" Starscream shot back, his green optics meeting his creator's.

"You're not supposed to hide things of such importance as one of us."

"I'm not one of you anymore, Optimus," Starscream's gaze seemed to change this time, taking on an older, wiser stare.

"What are you saying?" Optimus asked, slightly offended at the comment.

"I am beyond comprehension. I can almost guarantee that if I went into the rec room right now and blurted to all of them who and what I am, that not only would they think I've lost my mind, but they'll think you have as well for backing me up."

"Okay, I'll bite. What are you?"

"You saw the extraction, Optimus. I'm…" Starscream hesitated. It should sound weird coming from his vocal processors, but it wasn't weird. It wasn't a falsity. He was who and what he was, no matter how crazy they all would think he is. "I am one of the Thirteen 'gods'," he put up two claws on each hand, hooking them in a very human like gesture for quoting.

The words hit him like a hot wind. Optimus sat back quickly, his hands going to his desk in surprise and perhaps a little disbelief. "The Thirteen were… gods?"

Starscream shifted his stance. "I wouldn't exactly call us gods. Primes would be a better term. But we were no construction workers and the Allspark wasn't 'found'. There is a lot you don't and may never understand."

"Then help me underst-"

"No," Starscream said simply, cutting Optimus off.

Optimus furrowed his optic ridges in slight anger and disappointment, "I am Prime, you don't have to hide it from me,"

"Don't flatter yourself, I'm hiding it from everyone." He glanced down, "To be perfectly honest, right now, I really don't even know. It's not like there is anything any of you could do about it, anyway. Hell, I can't even do anything about it right now. The point is moot."

"I see," Optimus said slowly with heightened suspicion at Starscream's attitude.

"I'm going back to Pri – back to Cybertron," Starscream leaned on Optimus' desk with his hands, hanging over his creator, the look in his optics were serious to a fault.

"There's nothing left on Cybertron, Starscream, it's destroyed. Why do you need to go back? We don't even have the Allspark to bring it back to it's former glory,"

"That," Starscream's optics turned cunning, "is where you are wrong,"

"…What?"

Starscream stood up and walked towards the door, but by the time he got to it, his demeanor suddenly took a summersault, which Made Optimus' optic twitch, "The Allspark is a big part of why I am awake now. Not all f it was chance. None of you know where the Allspark came from. None of you know the repercussions of its destruction."
