Location: Freddy Fazbear's Pizza plex

Monty felt the small child lean his tiny head against his broad chest. The alligator animatronic smiled a soft smile as he held him in one arm, taking long strides towards the Daycare. Thankfully the kid had stopped crying. He hated when they cried. But it was worth it in the end when the children smiled up at him with genuine trust, and not fear.

The young boy, possibly four, was now sucking his thumb. His other hand reached up to touch Monty's mohawk, which was growing out and falling over to one side of his face. Monty shifted the kid in his arm and continued walking.

It had been one month since he started finding lost kids around the pizza plex, and taking them to the Daycare. It was his favorite thing to do now. Of course he never admitted it to anyone. He had a reputation to keep up with. The starhead seemed to notice though, which irritated Monty; but he didn't want to be banned from the Daycare. He had gained a fan base with the tiny ones. Seeing the happy kids run up to him instead of running in fear was what filled him with joy. Besides being programmed to entertain the kids, this is what he knew he was built for.

Monty approached the large double wooden doors of the Daycare, and knocked three times very loud. He knew after doing this a few times, Sunny sometimes couldn't hear the knocks over the screaming kids, so he had to knock loud.

In a few short seconds, one of the large wooden doors opened. It was the Daycare assistant himself, Sundrop, or Sunny as he preferred to be called. Just like all the other animatronics, Sunny wore the same exact outfit every day, but unlike the other animatronics, he always had some sort of décor on him from the kids; from stickers to bedazzle gems. Today, Sunny was covered head to toe in glitter. Pink glitter.

"Hello Montgomery! It's nice to see you again! Found another lost one we see! Come in! Come in! We are making clay sculptures and covering them in glitter! I seemed to have gone too far with the glitter again! I do love glitter! It's so pretty!" Sunny exclaimed. The glitter on his body sparkled brightly in the light.

The large chested alligator carried the small boy in his massive arms into the Daycare.

"I found him under one of the tables near the stage," Monty muttered.

When they were inside the Daycare, Sunny scanned the child for any injuries. The child didn't have any. He seemed to be in stable condition. Even his heart was beating a steady, stress free beat. Sunny read out the information out loud as he always did.

"Name: Kenny Blimm. Age: 4. Favorite Glamrock: Montgomery Gator," Sunny said.

Monty smirked. "Good choice, kiddo. Alright, I better get going. Your parents will be here to pick you up shortly...listen to Starh...I mean Sunny while you are here." Monty said as he placed the kid down. Once Kenny's feet touched the ground, the kid wrapped his tiny arms around Monty's right leg.

"Don't leave me, Monty!" the little boy cried, causing the big alligator to jolt in surprise. Sunny smiled and tilted his head, finding the moment very cute. Monty noticed and felt his servers heat up and quickly looked away. "Go on, kiddo. I gotta go," he said gruffly. Kenny shook his head violently.

Sunny came up to the two, a little too close for Monty's liking. "Why don't you stay a little longer, Montgomery? I'm sure the children would love to have you around! We were going to make bracelets today with brand new rainbow beads!"

Kenny's ears perked up to making bead jewelry and looked up at the Glamrock band member with his big brown eyes.

"Pleeeaaassseeee?"

Monty stared down at the boy, then at Sunny, who also was giving him the pleading eyes...or trying to. It was a bit creepy if Sunny was doing it since his eyes were just white; possibly rubbed off over the years. He glanced at the clock on the far end of the wall and sighed, his broad shoulders slumping a little. "...I guess I have time for one activity," he said. Both Sunny and Kenny grinned excitedly. "Yay!"

...

Monty was having a hard time with the plastic beads. Every time he grabbed one in between his claws, they would break into pieces and fall back onto the craft table. He growled out loud in frustration and slammed his fists down, causing the kids to tense up and scoot further down the bench, away from him.

Sunny snapped his head up from his bracelet when his sensors alerted him that the childrens' stress levels were spiking. He could hear their tiny little hearts beating faster than usual. He looked over to Monty and realized the cause of the problem. Thankfully, he knew how to deal with kids who had temper tantrums. Monty wasn't any different.

"Would you like some help, Montgomery?" Sunny offered. Monty shifted in his small seat. "No. I'm fine. I can do this myself," he said through his sharp teeth.

Sunny placed a hand on Monty's, causing the alligator to jolt in surprise. Sunny stared at him. "I know you can do it. You are capable of doing anything you put your mind to...But there's nothing wrong with asking for help...right kids?" he asked, looking around the table. The kids nodded their heads.

"I couldn't tie my shoelaces and Megan showed me how to tie them!" said a boy.

"I have never used scissors before and Mr. Sunny helped me cutted up the paper!" said a little girl.

"Cut up the paper, Alice," Sunny corrected the child with a warm smile on his face.

Monty's tense shoulders gradually relaxed as he listened to each of the kids stories. Sunny felt Monty's hand slide out from under his own boney fingers. Sunny pulled his own hand back, realizing he had left his hand on top of Monty's for too long. The sun animatronic felt his servers heat up and a red warning symbol flash in front of his eyes, thankfully only he could see.

Fortunately, Monty seemed to have calmed down and the children were scooting back closer to Monty, threading the beads for him. Monty watched the kids in silence. They all worked together to thread their favorite beads into what Monty thought was one large bracelet at first. One of the kids tied the ends of the thick rainbow string into a square knot, and placed the plastic beaded jewelry over Monty's head and around his neck. It was a necklace.

Sunny smiled a huge smile, tilting his head and admiring the kids' work. He was so proud of them. Monty stared down at the necklace as the kids smiled and clapped happily at their work. Sunny watched the ends of Monty's mouth curl up into a smile.

The sweet moment was interrupted when Kenny tapped Megan on the arm. "Tag! You're it!" then he ran away laughing. The rest of the kids ran away from the craft table, adorned in their new plastic jewelry, and proceeded to play tag. Sunny and Monty were the only ones left at the craft table; the surface of the table covered in loose rainbow string and scattered beads.

Monty decided it was time to head out and slowly started to get up from the bench. Sunny quickly stopped him.

"Place your hand out Monty!" Sunny said. Monty hesitated, seeing the cheerful sun animatronic with his hands behind his back. Monty finally did, placing his fingerless purple gloved right hand face up on the table. Sunny pulled his hands from behind his back and placed something around Monty's wrist.

"Tada!" Sunny exclaimed, doing jazz hands with his freakishly long white fingers. The bells around Sunny's wrists jingled with enthusiasm. Monty looked down at the object that encircled his thick metal wrist.

"...What in tarnation is this?" the gator asked.

"It's a friendship bracelet!" Sunny exclaimed excitedly. The beads were glittery amethyst purple, and shiny emerald green in the shape of fat stars and lightning bolts.

"Why do the letters spell Flog?" he asked.

"Huh? Oh! Oh my stars! Hold on... Switcheroo!" Sunny sang as he turned the bracelet around so it said the correct word: Golf.

"There we go! I didn't have enough letters to write Monty because we have a lot of kids with M names! Mike, Megan, Maholy, Malcolm, Matthew, M-"

"I get it, Glitter boy..." Monty snapped. Then he stared back down at the bracelet around his wrist. He could feel Sunny staring at him.

"...Do you like it?" Sunny asked, his long fingers fumbling against each other. Monty just made a grunt sound. Then he got up, causing the table to shift a little.

"I gotta go now. Gonna be late for the final performance," he said, stepping over the long bench, his tail flicking behind him. Sunny quickly stood up from the table. A few beads clacked and scattered across the floor.

"Oh, so soon? We were gonna sing songs! I was hoping you would stay for at least one song, Monty! You are a great singer!" he said.

Monty narrowed his eyes a little from behind his star sunglasses. "How do you know I sing? I only sing a small part for one song..." he pointed out.

Sunny fidgeted where he stood, fumbling his long skeletal like fingers faster. "Erm...I...S-sometimes the music travels over here so I'm able to hear itandisometimeshearyousingingthesongandiknowitsyoubecauseyouhaveadeepervoicethanfreddys..." Sunny started to speak faster and faster, his head was beginning to smoke. The red warning sign was flashing in Sunny's vision but he couldn't seem to stop himself-

"Hey. Hey! Sunny! Stop! Calm down, dude!" Monty shouted, placing his hands on Sunny's thin shoulders. The sun animatronic stopped talking and stared up at the large alligator animatronic. Monty stared at the sun animatronic with concern. When he saw that the sun animatronic had calmed down, he sighed a loud sigh.

"I'll come by again after the show...to make sure Kenny reunites with his parents."

Sunny's wide mouth formed a smile. He nodded his head slightly. "Ok! I'll see you soon! Good luck, Montgomery!" Before Monty could react, the thin jester animatronic leaned in and wrapped his arms around Monty's neck, pulling him into a hug. Monty just stood there, his eyes wide behind his star sunglasses and his arms hovering over Sunny's body.

This was strange to him. He was just starting to get used to hugs by the kids...but another Pizza plex employee? He's never had this happen to him with the other Glamrocks. He's seen the girls hug. Freddy is a gentleman and will only hug when asked for a hug by the girls. He's been given pats on the shoulder by Freddy. The girls just give him high fives. Is this what friends do? Hug each other?

"Erm...Just Monty is fine," Monty said, awkwardly pulling away from the sun animatronics' embrace.

"Ok! Just Monty!" Sunny teased, grinning up at the irritated gator. Monty rolled his eyes.

Sunny suddenly gasped in horror, staring at Monty's chest. Monty looked down at where Sunny was staring. Glitter. Pink glitter. All over the front of Monty's broad chest and stomach.

"Oh dagnabbit! Look what you did! I look pinker than a flamingo blushin' on a pile of pink azaleas!" he shouted in his full on Southern accent.

Sunny couldn't help but to giggle. "I think you look pretty! But don't worry! I can clean you up really fast!" Sunny quickly said, placing his hands up in defense when Monty's eyes narrowed and began to glow a bright red, contrasting with the pink glitter.

Monty followed Sunny over to the other side of the Daycare, where the Daycare assistant kept all the first aid and clean up supplies for the kids. It looked like a small nurses office with metal cabinets above a counter.

"Is it true that gators fall asleep when their bellies are rubbed?" Sunny asked, getting a wet wipe container from one of the metal cabinets.

Monty couldn't help but to roll his eyes as he sat down on the counter. He has been asked this several times by the older kids. He had vast knowledge of the animal he was built to represent, so he could answer the kids' questions about alligators.

"Yes...but it doesn't work on me," he growled, crossing his arms over his chest. Sunny turned back around. Wet wipes in his hands.

May I?" Sunny asked.

Monty snarled. "I just said it doesn't work on me!"

"No, I mean...may I clean the glitter off you? You have your arms in the way," Sunny said.

Blushing, Monty quickly placed his arms down and turned his head to the side in embarrassment.

"Could've said that in the first place," he muttered.

Sunny first starts off at the chest. Monty freezes from Sunny's gentle touch, doing little circles with the wipe in his hand. Monty could feel his sensors heating up as he stared down at the sun animatronic. Sunny's eyes were on Monty's chest, focused on his task of removing the glitter. Monty felt his tense body relaxing to the gentle swirls. It was so soothing. Monty felt very peaceful. When was the last time he felt like this? No anger. No violence...

He tried shifting where he sat, but realized that he couldn't move. He felt like he was stuck, like his whole body had shut down...but he didn't seem alarmed by that. Why would he move away from this nice feeling? Eventually the soft swirl motions moved over to his belly...

"...Monty...Monty!"

Monty opened his eyes. Sunny's faceplate was close to his nose. Monty pushed the sun animatronic away. "What are you doing-?"

"Your body did an automatic shut down while I was cleaning you up!" Sunny said, his voice filled with genuine concern. Monty realized he was laying sunny side up on the ground. A few if the kids had stopped playing and were standing a few feet away. He sat bolt upright.

"How long was I out?" he asked.

"Ten minutes," Sunny said, fumbling with the glittery wet wipe in his hands.

Monty looked over at the clock. His eyes widened behind the purple tinted sunglasses.

"Consarnit! I'm late!" Monty cried out. He scrambled to his feet and bolted out the door.

"Hey, Monty! Where have you been? You missed the first two songs," Freddy whispered to Monty as he joined the Glamrocks onstage.

"None of yer business, bear," Monty muttered back as he slipped the long purple strap over his head that held his electric guitar and began to play. The kids cheered from the birthday tables as the Glamrocks began to sing the Happy Birthday song to the multiple birthday kids at the tables. Monty sang a little louder than usual.

Throughout the song, Monty found himself glancing at the bracelet around his wrist multiple times, almost causing him to miss his cues.
