"Wha-what was that black beam?" Elfman asked with a shocked expression.
"I'll tell you later. For now, go and take that beast over. You need to increase your beast souls because your beast souls have limited abilities." Ben said.
"A-Alright." Elfman nodded before heading over to the dying leader of the beasts.
"Lisanna, you can also choose any animals that you want to add to your arsenal." Ben told her.
"Aye sir." Lisanna playfully said as she left as well.
Elfman and Lisanna immediately take over their target's bodies. Lisanna chooses Armadillo because she lacks defense. This armadillo is different than the one on Earth. It has red skin with black armor on it's back.
After Elfman and Lisanna are done, they collect the bodies of the dead magical creatures. These bodies are needed as proof their job was completed and they can sell them for a good price. There were so many carcasses, so they can't waste this chance.
Then they left the forest and head to the nearest town where they can get the job completion approval letter from the mayor. It didn't take long because they have proof and Ben is a Wizard Saint so he is trustworthy.
After that, they return to Magnolia and report their job to Makarov before going home. They spend the remainder of the day resting so they'll be ready for tomorrow's plan. Ben understood the others' power level so they will start training tomorrow.
However, they didn't start training right away the next day. Elfman, Lisanna, Wendy and Carla are interrogating Ben. They want to know about the magic he used to defeat the magic creatures yesterday so he needs to explain it first.
"Sun God Slayer Magic?! And you made it yourself?!" The 4 exclaim in surprise.
They all knew Ben was smart, a genius even, but this was beyond their expectations. He had created new magic over the last 3 years, very powerful magic from the Lost Magic category at that. Even great mages like the 4 Gods of Ishgar might not be able to do that.
Well, they don't have Ben's secret weapon, A.I Chip. If Ben didn't have it, then he wouldn't be able to do this. It might've taken years or even decades to create Sun God Slayer Magic by himself.
A.I Chip is without a doubt the one who helped Ben the most in his life. It had helped Ben grow to this point faster than anyone else. He might've achieved it without A.I Chip, but it would take a lot longer.
"Well, it wasn't easy because I needed a lot of data to create this magic." Ben said.
"So you obtained the data from Fire and Sky God Slayer Magic, right? Can Wendy also learn Sky God Slayer Magic?" Elfman asked curiously, making the others curious too.
"I don't know, maybe in the future, but not right now. Having more than 1 type of Slayer Magic is nearly impossible. The magics will clash with each other because Slayer Magic is said to be 'alive'. The stronger one will suppress the weaker one and maybe destroy it."
"Their clash can destroy the mage's body as well. Unless your body is as strong as mine, it is impossible. Reaching this level of physical strength is also theoretically impossible unless you turn into a dragon. It's possible for me because of my Dragon Seed." He explained.
"Dragon Seed? What's that?" Lisanna asked.
"It's a seed that transforms someone into a dragon if they overuse their Dragon Slayer Magic. All Dragon Slayers who learned their magic from real dragons have it. That means me, Wendy, Natsu and Gajeel. Since Laxus obtained his Dragon Slayer Magic from a lacrima, he doesn't have one." Ben answered.
"Then, you guys might turn into a dragon?" Lisanna asked, worried.
"Well, I might, but it won't happen to those three." Ben said while patting Wendy's head because she looked down.
She knew all of this because Ben explained it to her and the cats. Mira was also aware because he told her about it before. Now he just needed to explain everything to Elfman and Lisanna.
"Why won't they turn into dragons while you will? Eh, but you 'might' turn into one?" Lisanna asked.
"I'm not sure how, but those 3 might've received aid from their dragon parents. As you know, my dragon parent never really taught me anything. So whatever it was that their dragon parents did to stop the dragonization for them, it never happened for me. That's why I need to come up with a way myself and the only way that I can think of is learning Devil and God Slayer Magic to suppress the Dragon Seed."
"But to learn 2 different types of Slayer Magic, let alone 1, you need a very strong body like mine. I can achieve this thanks to the Dragon Seed which makes my body grow stronger like a dragon. But I might turn into a dragon if I'm not very careful. It's a high turn high-risk situation." Ben informed them.
Ben told them the truth but he didn't include everything. He didn't say that he can seal a dragon inside his body to suppress the Dragon Seed. But that dragon needs to be at the level of gods and the only dragon he knew of with that criteria was Acnologia.
Capturing and sealing Acnologia is a lot harder than creating Sun God Slayer Magic. That's why he didn't tell anyone other than Roubaul about this. They would become worried because they know how strong Acnologia is.
"Having more than 1 type of Slayer Magic is also not an advantage. You must train them all at the same time, so it will be a lot more difficult than training a single type. If someone who has a type of Slayer Magic needs an amount to reach a certain level, then I will need 3 times that effort or even more to reach the same level." Ben said.
"Hmm, so you're the only person who can have 3 types of Slayer Magic?" Lisanna noted.
"I don't know, maybe someone else can, but I never met them. At least I've never heard of someone who has Devil, Dragon and God Slayer Magic at once like me. However, I know someone who has more than 1 type of Dragon Slayer Magic. It's the strongest of the Ten Wizard Saints, God Serena. He was already a powerful mage before obtaining 8 types of Dragon Slayer Magic." Ben confessed.
"8?!"
"He has 8 dragon lacrima in his body. Using dragon lacrima is less of a burden to the user's body. All 8 magic types also have a low probability of clashing against each other because they are all dragons and they are different."
"None of God Serena's Dragon Slayer Magic is from the same category. He only has Dragon Slayer Magics of different elements. So all of them are different, that's why they don't clash with each other."
"But my Slayer Magic revolves around the sun and they are for different creatures. So naturally, they'll try to gain dominance over each other. It's like if Natsu learned other Fire Dragon Slayer Magic, then it will be useless because he has the Fire Dragon King's magic, so it's already the strongest, making the other one useless." Ben continued explaining for a few more minutes before he was done.
Ben's long explanation only left them confused, just like he planned. All they need to know is that it is difficult to pull off and it's not beneficial. It will just be a lot more difficult to get stronger.
Ben said all those things because he didn't want Wendy to follow his example. It's better for her to just use her Sky Dragon Slayer Magic and improve it. Learning other types of Slayer Magic will slow her progress down. Her power will be half-assed, which is not good.
Ben knew that he was special because he had A.I Chip and his body was created by gods. That's why he was capable of achieving things others can't with his body. Learning the 3 types of Slayer Magic actually didn't burden his body, but A.I Chip assumed that might be the case for others, so he didn't recommend others doing it and said all that crap.
Ben suddenly patted Wendy's head, "Don't worry, I will help you become really strong. So strong that your Sky Dragon Slayer Magic won't lose to Sky God Slayer Magic. I'll make sure you become stronger than God Serena with only Sky Dragon Slayer Magic."
The others look at each other and think it's a bit too much. But then they realize Ben was serious when they see the expression on his face. They wouldn't believe this claim if it came from someone else, but they felt Ben could really make it happen.
