A/N A few terms for those who don't know Warehouse 13.

Regents - governing board of the Warehouse. Ordinary people, like teachers and waitresses. Chosen because they're ordinary. People who have power often want more and the Warehouse has alot of power contained within it.

Guardian - metaphysically attached via an actual shackle on their wrist. This attachment is not usually a bad thing. It serves as an early warning system. But when the Warehouse is under attack, the Guardian feels pain.

Caretaker - also metaphysically attached to the Warehouse, functionally immortal and unaging from the day of attachment. Allows the Warehouse to be somewhat organic. It grows to accommodate new artifacts.

Agents - those that snag, bag and tag an artifact, to use the shows terms.

"We thought you guys were the Guardians." Xander said.

"No, we're Agents." Artie said. "Our job is to find and hopefully stop whatever might want to ruin the world's day."

"We're the low man on the totem pole." Pete pointed out. "So what exactly is it you need?"

"It's called the Norse Hammer, it's a version of Thor's hammer that exists here." Xander answered.

"Claudia?" From Artie.

"Looking it up on the artifact database." She answered. "Found it, it's in the superhero artifacts collection. The artifacts that make people thinks they're superheroes. Found in Sor - Trondelog, a county in the southern portion of Trondelog, Norway. Increases the user's muscle-mass to god-like proportions while inducing delusions of righteousness."

"I'm told I'm immune and it's not a superhero item, it really did belong to the Thor of this world."

"You're saying Thor was real?" Again Myka was skeptical.

"We have statues of Zeus and Hera that have to be kept separated because Hera's constantly pissed at Zeus for cheating." Artie pointed out.

"Considering that she also cheats, it might have more to do with him being a pervert." Xander observed.

"Why would you be immune?" Jinx answered. "As far as I know, no one is immune to the artifacts."

"Because he's my blood father."

This was a statement that reduced his audience to silence. And then Steve tentatively said. "He's not lying."

"I'm getting a vibe that he is actually telling the truth." Pete said, just as tentatively.

"You going to claim to be related to a god too?" Myka asked Cordelia.

She nodded. "Artemis, want to see the unempting quiver of arrows she gave me?"

"Yes." Claudia said. Cordelia reached into her dimensional pocket and pulled it out.

"Oh, that's pretty." Claudia said admiringly.

"It is." Myka agreed. "Scan it please, Claudia. Where did it come from?"

"I pulled it out of a dimensional pocket Xander built for me."

"I'm not reading anything more then trace amounts of energy on it." Claudia told them. Cordelia pulled out an arrow and one immediately replaced it. When she replaced the arrow she was holding, the number somehow remained the same. "Still not reading anything more then trace amounts."

"I suggest you call Mrs. Latimer." A voice said. A black woman walked out of the shadows of the office.

"Mrs. Fredricks!" Artie exclaimed. "When did you get here?"

"The same time they did. She's the only one who can hand it over to him because a very long time ago, Thor contributed to her bloodline." And just as quickly as she appeared, Mrs. Fredericks was gone again.

"Does that mean I'm related to Thor?" Pete asked.

"A very long time removed apparently, but it seems so." Jinx agreed.

"So why am I not immune or able to give him the Hammer?" Pete asked.

"You're not immune because you're too far removed. And your mother is protected by the Remati Shackle, so it won't affect her." Artie told him.

"Who's Mrs. Fredricks?" Xander asked. "Cool teleporting thing she does, by the way."

"She's the Caretaker of the Warehouse. She's immortal and being connected to the Warehouse allows it to grow as needed." Artie told them. "Pete, could you call your mother, please. If Mrs. Fredricks says to give it to them, I don't think I'm going to argue, the Regents certainly wouldn't. She usually knows what she's talking about."

"Thank you and then we can move on. There's still a couple of things we need to get to be able to deal with that thing and they're in other realities." Xander said. "We appreciate you guys willingness to help. I know other realities aren't your responsibilities."

"Huh, you're still people. I'd hope you would be willing to help us, if we needed help." Claudia replied.

"We would. We helped out in the last reality we were in." Xander said. "We helped find a guy who had been kidnapped and was about to be executed by a hate group. They disapproved of who he married and thought that was a good enough reason to put him on their version of a trial and then kill him. Every reality probably has its weirdos."

"Unfortunately true." Artie agreed. "Since Pete's mom lives out of state and she's not able to do the cool teleporting trick Mrs. Fredricks does, you'll have to stay over night. Most of the Agents live at Leena's Bed and Breakfast in town. She has an extra room, if you two don't mind sharing, we can put you up for the night."

"We live together, it's not an issue." Cordelia assured him.

"And thanks, we'll take you up on that offer. We've quickly figured out we need to sleep when we have the chance." Xander said.

"True." Pete said, coming back from calling his mother. "But soldiers always learn that quick."

"What do you mean?" Myka asked.

"He's a soldier." Pete said. "What branch, I was a Marine myself." Pete asked Xander.

"How can you tell?" Myka asked.

"He moves like a soldier. Constantly alert, checking for threats, straight spine."

"Technically speaking, I've never served. I have the knowledge of a soldier in my head and have been part of an undeclared war since I was three weeks past my sixteenth birthday."

"I hate undeclared wars." Pete said. "No one takes responsibility and the bigwigs have deny ability."
