44. Cornelius Slate VI

Hi everybody, back again with another chapter update. This chapter will be Cornelius Slate's last one, and before any one even asks me. No, he's not dying or anything like that of that nature. It's just his last one for the story. You see, after I post up chapter 45 for Friday next week. There's only five chapters left to post up. That and I knew that Cornelius Slate's story arc of my story was finished, cause after all in the game itself and canon story. Cornelius Slate only has five voxophone recordings, but in my story he's gotten six. So, Cornelius Slate's story arc in my story is now complete. It was actually pretty fun and nice to write for a character like Cornelius Slate, sure he come's off as a villain in the game. But, it was a very flesh experience for me to write for such an interesting and well developed character like Cornelius Slate. But, he's side of the story is finished and put to rest now.

It's been a few years since my last vox recording. Thing's are still the same, Comstock and his Founders still attack and hunt us daily, Daisy's busy getting more allies and supplies for the Vox Populi, and Jerome Valentine is now the enemy of the Vox Populi. When Daisy told the news of Jerome declining her offer to join up with Vox Populi to me, I told her, "I kind of figured he would turn us down." The Vox Populi's and Jerome's goals of taking down Comstock maybe similar in a way, but both sides have different directions of doing it. Jerome has his own way and the Vox Populi have theirs. I've gotten reports from one of my men down on the ground below, that some Pinkerton agent from the USA and it's detective company, Pinkerton's National Detective Agency. Is coming here. Why, he's coming here at all remains a mystery to me. The reports just tell me, he's coming here and very soon too. He might be just the one the Vox Populi need, the person to send Comstock to his grave.
