"Yep." Sam responds.

"You'd tell me, yeah?" Richie asked her concerned for her.

"Yes. You don't have to check on me all the time." Sam said.

"I can't Chunk. I'm afraid you'll squish me to death." Sam said as everyone laughed. Chunk's smirk disappeared clearly embarrassed.

"You know what, fuck you Sam." Chunk yelled.

"You ok" Richie asked.

"Yeah. I can handle dumbasses like him." Sam said.

"You picking up a shift tomorrow?" Richie asked her.

"I'm-" She starts to say but her phone buzzes. Doesn't recognize the number, sends the call to voicemail. "-not sure."

A black Range Rover speeds down the road. The suv looks to be an older model of said car. It looks a bit rusted and worse for ware but still in good shape. Driving the car is a young man name Zachariah "Zeke" Meeks. He is the oldest child of Martha Meeks'Martin and the older brother to her twins Chad and Mindy.

Zeke as he is called is eighteen years old. He was a bit troubled and was sent to live with his grandparents. He decided to come home to see his mother and siblings. He knows that the town hates his family after what his uncle Randy and Stu Macher did all those years ago; this was part of the reason he got into trouble and ended up being sent away. Still they were his family and he wanted to make sure they were ok.

Zeke is listening to music when he decided to listen to the news. A broadcaster was speaking about his hometown woodsboro.

"Late last night, a young teen was attacked in her home. It's reported that the victim was stabbed seven times. The police were alerted and rushed to the scene. The teen who was identified as Tara Carpenter, sixteen and a student at woodsboro high. Young Tara who survived her attack was rushed to the hospital where she was taken into surgery. No word on who could've committed this hainus attack. The police are investigating." The broadcaster reported. Zeke frowned hard. He knew the Tara girl and her family. He knew Tara to be a good kid. Her parents were pretty cool to. He also knew her sister Sam.

Zeke had a big crush on Sam and hadn't told her. He wondered if she was still living in woodsboro. He shook his head as he continued on towards home.

Note: Zeke is a character I made up. You'll understand why he's there later on.
