Notes: Rough draft, trying to write out the broad CONCEPT of the series first.
SHE IS CHAMPION
Prelude
It arrived December 31st. Just in time for a new year...
They would learn later that it was called a Transit Sphere. Whatever it was, it smashed right through the air cover over the United States. Bullets and missiles did nothing as it casually crossed the sea from somewhere in Europe to the east coast of America.
There was panic at the United Nations as they realized that WHATEVER it was was coming there. Security teams for the ambassadors of the United States, Russia and China scrambled to get their people out. They soon realized that, with how fast the object was coming, there would be no time to get away.
The sphere reached the UN and went right THROUGH the outer wall, like a ghost. It descended to the center of the General Assembly, as the various diplomats watched with fear.
Then... it OPENED.
The woman was dressed in simple robes, and was startlingly beautiful. Black hair flowed down her back, held back by a gold circlet, and her white robes hugged a shapely but well muscled body.
The UN Chairman, who had ducked behind a desk in fear, rose as he looked at her in awe. "Who..." he started.
"I am Circe," the woman calmly addressed the UN, "Representative of the Athenian States. We have long watched your civilization grow, hidden behind our invisibility screens."
"INVISIBILITY?!" the US ambassador whispered, watching.
Circe ignored that as she continued, "Our Queen intended to simply observe, as our technology and force fields would make us invulnerable to any attack you could attempt."
"FORCE FIELDS?!" China gaped.
Not caring about THAT either Circe said, "But the rapid build up of Nuclear weapons and your despoiling of the environment has prompted us to act. I am here to open diplomatic relations, as well as deliver a statement."
There was a beat of silence as she swept the room with her gaze.
"Understand that we will no longer tolerate such actions," Circe said calmly, "you will stop military build up and any ongoing wars, now." She paused, "And if you can not stop them yourselves, WE will stop them for you."
All hell broke loose after THAT.

Notes: Basically a alternate universe where the Amazons are super tech, tired of us screwing around, and fully willing to do whatever they have to to keep the world spinning. At this point there are no other superhumans, though that will change due to reasons I'll introduce in the next couple of chapters.
