Gojira Pov:
"For most of my existence being the only one of my kind that can wipe out and entire land I've learned one thing. Never let anything or anyone take something you hold dear, for years being alone I've had nothing. No creatures like myself or Kaiju's that I'd view as friends, that was until the day I met the witch. Pandora, it was still new adjusting to this new size that she gave me. I thought it make me weak and less intimidating to the others amongst the realm, though it allowed me to see what it's like to amongst the devastation I and others of my former size caused without knowing it. The advantage was somewhat worth since I could meet other leaders from different races that wanted a home away from humans who hunted them down, others in the realm would take the opportunity to destroy them without a second to act. Yet I stopped it, rather than destroy I'd learn from Pandora's teaching and lead the remaining Kaiju in the realm to a different future where all could feel welcome and safe. Yet while one ideal can be viewed as hope, others will always be against it."
Several Years Ago-Monster High
It was a bright and early morning within the Kaiju realm and there was construction going halfway for the institute that Pandora had requested built for the next generation of monster and Kaiju children to attend. Working on the structure was several gargoyles along with a Kaiju covered with spikes throwing several stones in alignment to create walls that could withstand anything. Smiling at his work and seeing how things were looking out, he looked over to seeing two familiar faces who were overseeing the work. Pandora, who was wearing what appeared to be a dress that was high classed along being considered an important creature. While Gojira only a button up shirt with an overcoat so he could appear respectful towards his fellow kind and other monsters that were kings and queens of their own kind.
"Your majesty. The work on the walls is going as planned, we've tested it with most of the Kaiju's abilities to avoid them toppling on anyone. We even hade Rodan use his wings to try and tear it down, quite enjoyable to watch if you ask me."
Explaining about testing the school walls if anything happened either inside or outside of Monster High as the two noticed how the fire demon Rodan was doing everything in his power to bring it down. While it drive the Pteranodon Kaiju mad that the concrete walls stood towards his strongest attack, it showed that the school could withstand anything that would try to attack it.
"Well done Anguirus. It was a good idea in introducing you to the gargoyles, their knowledge on architectural knowledge and building was a good match for someone of your skills. There's also several other projects I wanted you to be in charge of, such as several of these places where everyone could socialize with."
Pandora applauding him on his skills as well offering him other buildings to help build amongst the realms to make it hospitality to others around the realm as well for both species to bond as friends. While she was handling construction, the king of Kaiju was more focused on the others helping build the school as they noticed him standing there giving off mixed emotions towards him. While everyone treated Pandora has possibly a savior for Kaiju's to get a second chance of having a life that could allow them to interact with the realm they lived in, he still felt like he would have to display dominance even in a time of peace.
"I shouldn't be here."
Thinking to himself as he began to feel upset that he was dressed like someone different, as well being exposed to many Kaiju's that in the past would have tried to attack him in the hopes of taking him out. His scales slowly begun to emit a glow in a threatening manner to make sure others knew he'd be ready to fight. Continuing to build up energy and possibly about to roar towards any would be challengers, he was stopped by a hand touching his shoulder softly as it was Pandora who was calming him down from making a scene.
"I thought we talked about this. If you ever felt stressed, then tell me. Will go somewhere and settle down."
Offering support to Gojira since out of all the creatures that were either monster or Kaiju, she was the only one that could be tame his untapped power that was locked within him along and keep it in check. Taking a moment to breath and restrain himself, Gojira was able to stop the glow coming from his scales and look to Pandora since he felt like a child about to throw a tantrum.
"It was a mistake bringing me here. Most of my people already treat you as if you were family to them, they still see me as a monster who attacked them."
Acknowledging the difference between them due to how he battled each of the Kaiju's around them that were working on building the school, while she was the one that helped them in starting a new life as well meeting monsters they could befriend them. The horned witched merely sighs at the conflict that she had dealt with when she began her partnership with the king since he was unlike anyone she had met before leaving her village back in Salem. It was a challenge for him to adjusting to this sudden change and the teamwork that he was seeing in front of him along with not fighting anyone that was around him.
"Then you must show them that you want to be a king that will look after them, not a king to be feared. They should see the man I met when you accepted me into the realm, as well helped me with the school were building."
Responding to the negativity that came from Gojira as she wanted him to be seen as more than a force of destruction. Hearing the words and weight from her made Gojira silent seeing that she wanted to help him, despite what others have seen him as since she herself had been seen as a monster. Remaining silent at the response and nodded in his head in remaining by her side, the two noticed a commotion happening coming from the forest as they heard a mad laughter that spooked most of the workers. Followed by the laughing was a galloping sound which the two knew recognized it quickly as Bloodgood, who came in charging towards Gojira and Pandora while scaring several of the nearby workers to display her arrival. Stopping in front of the two, her horse Nightmare rose up shooting fire from its nose as well making sure the entrance would intimidate the king himself.
"You might have gone overboard Bloodgood. Though, impressive display of scaring others. You might be the school's headmistress if you continue with that."
Gojira complimenting her on the performance and making the headless woman smile since it was her first week in assisting the two in construction. She was still in training since her father had retired from the 'headless' business last week.
"Thank you for the compliment. I've come to inform you about Dracula's arrival, he's on his way right now to see the construction of the school. Along meeting you my lady."
Bloodgood informing them about the count visiting the school since he was the first to visit since the monster community that had royal families weren't convinced of sending their children to a realm filled with creatures that were stronger than them. Especially a witch aiding in the building since they weren't fond of magic users, to have the lord of vampires come to visit was important for Pandora.
"This is perfect! Out of most of the monsters that have joined in the construction of Monster High, Dracula's support would help it even more. As well that he's just as intimidating as you are."
Sounding both excited at the lord of vampires coming here to see this for himself since he was like Gojira due to them having a history of fighting enemies that challenge their authority. Gojira merely huffs at the 'lord of vampires' since he's heard about from working with vampires that came to help offer ideals to the school's lessons. Yet to have the king here and see the progress could favor them in the long run as well bring in monsters that could help Monster High expanding across the human world to attend here.
"Then I should start practicing on my curtsy then?"
Making a joke to settle the mood as Pandora smiled seeing how she might have gotten him to brighten up due to her positive attitude getting to him. Looking over at one of the portals that the witch had made to help monsters travel to Kaiju realm, the two heard what sounded like a storm brewing from above. Most of the workers were concern since it didn't appear to show signs of rain or anything happening, Gojira however recognized the storm as a shadow appeared from the sky as it quickly swooped down making a thunderous arrival. Gojira stood firm recognizing it along seeing a set of red eyes emerging from the smoke staring at him and Pandora in a furious manner.
"What have you done to me?!"
Roaring at them in anger as the smoke slowly cleared showing a three headed dragon like Kaiju with dark gold skin while covered in what looked burnt marks across his body. He was around the same size as Gojira as he had become what would be considered 'monster' size as he was one of the Kaiju's that preferred to keep their status of giants.
"Keizer. I guess you got caught in the spell when I could guess you trying to take out a stronger opponent. It's a good look for you."
Recognizing the old enemy of his as well surprised at how he managed to get small like the others as Pandora only did it for Kaiju's that wanted a new life. It was an unpredictable spell as well how it took much of her power in doing it, Pandora herself was surprised at how he didn't notice doing the spell on Keizer at the time. The three headed dragon looked at the workers around the school and growled at what each head was witnessing.
"Is this what you now serve? A traitor to our own kind! For years we have treated these lands as our own, having fights to see who would lead us to a new world. He! Has all that power and showed no mercy, but because of that witch she has made him a pet. Making you just as weak as he is!"
Calling out to the Kaiju's that took this decision seriously due to how they were forces of destruction that could do whatever they desired without limitations. Though it now had changed because of what Pandora did, making them just as weak as the monsters that were coming here to make a home. The last part made Pandora lose her smile as she glared at him in a serious manner as her eyes glowed at him for calling Gojira and the others weak.
"The only that's acting weak is you, because how you see it as a curse. Gojira showed me what this realm was like before coming here and I saw so much destruction. And the Kaiju in front of you? They were afraid of what they had done and couldn't repair let alone survive the fights I know you had with them. So don't you dare call anyone around here weak for what their trying to be now."
Standing her ground towards the three headed serpent as well not letting him talk down towards the others that wanted to escape their old lives. Keizer only snarled at her as his heads moved about looking at the witch in different ways trying to frighten her, only for the witch to stare directly at him showing no fear as she locked her eyes on the center head.
"Says the woman who left her people to try and blend in with another group that does not follow her ideals. If you wish to know how we handle things, then allow me to show you!"
Reminding her how she left the human world to find a place to have others like herself be accepted as he had his left head preparing to attack her with an energy blast. Possibly preparing to use a spell to confront him, it was stopped by Gojira who grabbed the left head's throat and began to choke him slowly which caused Keizer to grunt at the pressure he was receiving.
"Apologize to her, before I rip your head off."
Threatening him as well displaying his old self that wouldn't hesitate in taking a life as his claws bared right into his skin which made Keizer bite his teeth and the tension he was receiving. Refusing to submit to this new rule and Gojira becoming 'soft' for Pandora as well the monster community. He broke free from his hold and flew upwards into the air as it caused most of the works to flee from the scene.
"I was planning on ending the witch's life to get back my proper size again. But I guess I can try without it, because your king or not. I am the strongest in this realm!"
Proclaiming himself as Keizer started to build up energy around him to break Pandora's spell within him and try to regrow into his titanic form again. He was absorbing most of the electricity around the area as well causing panic amongst the people, this left Gojira to become angry with his actions as he had no choice but to end him. Building his power within him and preparing to fire, Pandora stopped him seeing how destroying him would be the way. Aiming her hand at Keizer as well waiting for him to fire, both her and Gojira aimed two directly blasts at at him which spiraled towards Keizer hitting him directly into his chest. The attack mixed with his own power cause Keizer to drop to the ground unable to channel his power to regrow again, trying to get back on his feet. The three headed dragon began to feel his body grow uncontrollably as he felt either heavy or light at the same time.
"You should have stopped when you realized that the old ways are changing. Either accepted it or leave. This was your undoing."
Gojira informing him as this left Keizer to roar in anger before making his way back into the air while also having trouble flying as he was halfway growing or shrinking as he couldn't control himself. Watching the sight of the defeated Kaiju fleeing, both Gojira and Pandora couldn't help themselves but laugh at the sight of how they acted serious since it was the first time they combined an attack together. Seeing how the situation was handled, they heard one of the portals activating as the pair quickly clean themselves up to try and look presentable for Dracula as they saw him along several others of his own brethren walking out to see the construction of Monster High going and noticing scorched markings on the ground.
"Did we miss something exciting happening?"
The count asking in a curious tone from how he could smell fear, anxiety as well what smelled like burnt scales as it reminded him of the old days of being on the battlefield. Gojira and Pandora shook their heads to the vampire lord on nothing happening here as well not bringing up their 'unexpected' visit they just had with Keizer.
"Nothing your majesty. Just some monster and Kaiju rough housing, as well to show despite different species. We can find common ground together."
Gojira making up something that sounded like something Pandora would say as the witch gave him a small thumbs up on how he made it sound decent. Though Dracula was unsure of this unusual alliance between the lizard monster and witch due to how chaotic magic was, yet he was focused on the school to see if he could send a child of his own here without anyone harming her. The pair guided him into the school to show the future for monster and Kaiju children as well an environment where they could learn from each other and make future where they can face anything as one.
Present Date-Kaiju Realm
Things had changed much in the Kaiju realm as well the school progressing in ways no one could imagine. Especially after the turn of events with one of Monster High's students Clawdeen Wolf being the first half human and monster to go to the school and 'saved' Gojira after his fight against their former teacher Mr. Komos. Who was a hybrid between his father Hyde and his mother Muto, though time has passed and they along the others who were involved of the fight had gotten their own spotlight across the news. Right now at the Valhalla bar where Junior last performed, the new king had returned to try and perform without getting jumped on by any Kaiju's trying to start trouble. Behind the curtains was Junior who saw not just Kaiju's but what looked like new students that would be attending Monster High who might have heard about this performance.
"I can't believe you convinced me to come here after I told you about this place."
Commenting on a ghoul that wanted to be a part of his performance to help which was Frankie, who wanted to be a part of his performances since he helped them out on one of their fear leading practices for school. Coming on stage was the reanimated ghoul who had a change in clothing which had them wearing leather jacket with spikes and appearing like they were an apprentice of rock n roll.
"It's important to start off going back to Monster High by retracing your steps on a positive start. Also I thought be fun to participate in your performance."
Informing him that this was the first time when Komos came to him and offering the idea to attend Monster High. Though that was only a lie for him to catch him off guard to take his powers, but apparently this time it was Frankie who wanted him to feel confident when heading back to school.
"My performances usually end with broken teeth and someone losing a limb, which is not scary for you since you can literally put yourself back together."
Stating that his shows weren't all that glamorous and led to fights which didn't seem to scare Frankie since they had been around Junior long enough to accept it as a normal activity. Going over to the side to bring out an electric keyboard guitar, they handed Junior his father's guitar as he took a deep breath preparing for the moment and looking over at the skeleton band that was ready to help the pair out.
"None of you fall apart on me. This is their first time here."
Telling the skeletons to keep up with him and Frankie since he wanted this performance to go off without a henge. Noticing the owner coming out and noticing the audience waiting for the show to start, he cleared his throat preparing for the introduction.
"Greetings Ghouls and Kaiju to Valhalla! Where we greet the now official king of Kaiju, Godzilla Junior. And one of the friends that aided him on his path of accepting his role and now fighting for the realm and all who live here, Frankie Stein!"
Announcing the two's names as well getting a cheerful response since after the announcement on the Ghostly Gossip and other social media sites. He has gotten a more positive look than he used to before coming to Monster High, suddenly the curtains showed the two as well the skeleton band behind them as they were greeted with applause as Junior looked over seeing Frankie smiling at the response on being on stage. Remembering the song that Frankie chose for the show, Junior started off slowly letting it build up for the audience.
"The secret side of me, I never let you see. I keep it caged but I can't control it. So stay away from me, the beast is ugly. I feel the rage and I just can't hold it."
Signing first while strumming the strings as he looked at the crowd with a glare as he lets out a growl of intimidation as he was getting into the mood. Frankie watched at his performance followed up with the keytar playing as the skeletons played aggressively due to how Junior was playing.
"It's scratching on the walls, in the closet, in the halls. It comes awake and I can't control it, hiding under the bed, in my body, in my head. Why won't somebody come and save me from this, make it end?"
Asking the crowd before stomping his foot on the stage making the building shake as well giving them a bit of scare as he soon strums his guitar as he smirked at how he scared them. He noticed that even if he had frightened them, it also was exciting to see him perform as he goes all out playing his guitar for them.
"I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin. I must confess that I feel like a monster! I hate what I've become, the nightmares just begun. I must confess that I feel like a monster!"
Calling out to how he felt like a monster with the power he had deep within him as well showing it with his scales glowing in a frightful manner. Which made it all more exciting to watch as he took a step back to let Frankie take the spotlight, which left them nervous at first but decided to take a play book move from Junior and acted 'scary' for the crowd.
"My secret side I keep, hid under lock and key. I keep it caged but I can't control it. Cause if I let them out they'll tear me up, break me down. Why won't somebody come and save me from this, make it end?"
Asking the crowd and letting out a bit electricity from their hands which channeled through the keytar which hits the lamps and other electrical items in the place which scared most of the crowd. Giving them the same treatment to Junior, the duo played their instruments at the same time rocking out for everyone and letting the skeleton band's music guide them. Not knowing in the crowd was possibly a Kaiju seeking to take Junior out and become king as it snarled it teeth at the band playing on stage.
"I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin. I must confess that I feel like a monster! I hate what I've become, the nightmares just begun. I must confess that I feel like a monster!"
Singing together and smiling at how they were performing without interruptions as well possibly getting the new students of Monster High excited since they'll be seeing them more once they head over to the school. Though as they continued to perform, neither of them as well amongst the audience noticed the Kaiju moving slowly across the stage preparing to attack.
"It's hiding in the dark, its teeth are razor sharp! There's no escape for me, it wants my soul, it wants my heart. No one can hear me scream, maybe it's just a dream. Maybe it's inside of me, stop this monster!"
Calling out to the crowd as the two noticed leaping at them was an arachnid type Kaiju that removed its cloak and leapt right up towards the two with its arms aimed directly at them. Just as Frankie and Junior felt like they were about to hit a cord, both of them looked at him and simultaneously charged up with their own powers and slammed its face with both of their guitars. They sent it flying across the audience and crashing outside of the building, which left everyone to cheer for their combine attacked.
"I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin. I must confess that I feel like a monster! I hate what I've become, the nightmares just begun. I must confess that I feel like a monster!"
Continuing their duet as well staring at the hole where they sent the spider kaiju through as the audience didn't mind the aggressive attack since they thought it was a part of the show. Coming out of the rubble was the spider getting up angered and still feeling electrocuted as he tried to step through the hole, in which he saw the pair looking at him with a confident expression as well ready to take him down again.
"I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin. I must confess that I feel like a monster! I hate what I've become, the nightmares just begun. I must confess that I feel like a monster!"
Finishing the song at the same time as well curious if the spider wanted another round in getting taken down again. Though it was quickly stopped by a surprise roar which came from behind him as it was Clawdeen who saw the scene happening and stopping things before it escalated. The spider ran away of not starting a fight with the same werewolf that took down Komos, looking through the hole and seeing her friends. She noticed the crowd cheering for her and wanting to meet her, while it was nice of them to greet her for what she went through last year, this left the pair to rush over and help Clawdeen out before getting surrounded by her 'fans'.
"It took me a while in finding you two. I thought we'd agree we head over to Draculaura's place; she's having an early party before classes start. Luckily her dad was able to convince Headmistress Bloodgood to host a party in a way to help for the upcoming Fright Ball."
Clawdeen explaining about how they were supposed to come over to the second-year party that she was hosting since it was test for how she would the Fright Ball at Monster High. While Junior forgot about the event, he was more curious about the sudden popularity she had received back there at the place. Clawdeen blushed a bit embarrassed by that as she pulled out her Icoffin showing what seemed to be a short on Eektok showing her and the others getting noticed.
"Guess we're royalty then with this happening. Better practice on a curtsey, which I don't know why that came out of me all of a sudden."
He responded with a joke seeing how he wasn't the only one that was famous, it was followed up with a laugh as the trio would head over to see the practice party Draculaura was hosting and then enjoy a new year together at Monster High.
