Ch 97 My Home is Your Home
Helena sat down in the Car with N right beside her. "Professor Potter, I can tell that you're nervous." She looks at Sebastian, driving the car to a familiar scenery. "You needn't worry, I swear to protect you on behalf of Ms. Lydia."
"Sebastian, you don't need to go that far," Helena said to the Stone Family Butler.
The black-haired Man looks up at the rear-view mirror. "Professor Potter, it's a Butler's duty to serve their Employer to their fullest ability," Sebastian explains to the young Woman.
N looks at Sebastian, having some doubts about this arrangement. "Sebastian, how sure are you that the Stones and you can protect my Sister?" He asked,
Helena slaps N's arm for asking such a question. "N! How could you ask that question?" She scolded her Brother,
"I'm sorry, Helena. But I want reinsurance that your safety is in mind." N looks at Helena, extremely worried about this situation. "Can you do that, Sebastian?" He asked in a serious tone.
Sebastian, understanding how the green-haired trainer feels, answers him accordingly. "Mr. Potter, I swear on my position and to master Steven that Professor Potter will be taken care of during her stay at the Stone Family Mansion." The Butler swore to N that they had Helena's safety in mind.
Soon the Car reaches the Stone Mansion, entering the Gates and driving up to the front door.
Waiting by at the door were Lydia and Joseph watching as Sebastian drove up to the entrance. Lydia came Home earlier to prepare a room for Helena and told Sebastian to pick her up from the Potter Laboratory.
Stepping out of the Car, Helena looked up and saw both Lydia and Joseph walking down from the entrance. "Helena, how was the trip? Did you encounter any complications?" The white-haired Woman asks the young Professor.
"No, Sebastian made sure that the Car ride went smoothly." Helena turns around, seeing N and Sebastian coming out with her two pieces of luggage from the trunk.
"Thank you for taking me in, Joseph, Lydia." Helena thanked the Couple for sheltering for in her time of need.
Joseph waved his hand at Helena, thinking nothing of it. "There's no need for thanks, Helena. You're now a part of the Family, and Family helps each other no matter what." The navy-blue-haired Man turns to N who is standing next to his Sister. "This goes for you and your Sisters, N." He smiled.
N flinched, looking at Joseph and Lydia who were smiling at him. "T-That's a kind offer, Mr. and Mrs. Stone." The former King of Team Plasma said, unsure how to feel about it.
"Please, N, call us by our given names," Lydia said, ushering him to address them casually.
The green-haired trainer gave a small chuckle at the comment. "If you two are alright with it," N said, keeping what Lydia said in mind.
Sebastian approaches the entrance with one of Helena's bags, a sign for Joseph to let them in. "It's getting late, why don't we get you settled, Helena? I'm sure today was an eventful one and must be tired,"
Helena nodded, accepting the invitation. "Thank you, Joseph." She said, feeling a bit tired herself.
"I'll accompany you inside, Helena, and help you," N said, wanting to make sure his Sister was comfortable before heading back to their Home.
They all headed inside the Mansion where the Household Staff greeted their new Guest.
Walking down the second floor of the Mansion, Joseph has some work to do, however, Lydia leads the two Siblings to Helena's room. "I have the Staff prepare a room for you, Helena, and also had a Maid assigned to you during your stay." The white-haired Woman explains to the two.
"Joseph already sent word to his Staff to inform Steven of the situation." Lydia turns around to her Future-in-laws, smiling at them. "He'll be here as soon as possible. I'm not sure when, but he'll be here soon enough." She explains as they reach the door to Helena's room.
Lydia looks at Helena and N, showing them the door. "This is where your room is, Helena. It's right next to Steven's if he decides to stay here for a while." The white-haired Woman explains, opening the door for them.
Entering the room, Helena saw there was a queen-sized Bed decorated with the finest bedding in all of Hoenn, There was a small table, a small closet, an area for her Pokemon, and a drawer for her to use. "This is a lovely room, Lydia," Helena said, walking over to the center.
It wasn't too much or too little, it was perfect for someone like Helena. "During your Baby Shower, I noticed how simple the House décor was. I figured that you like simple things." Lydia spoke, paying attention to the Potter's taste. "So, I made your room into something you're more familiar with, I do hope it's to your liking."
"It is, thank you for your consideration, Lydia," Helena said, looking back at the white-haired Woman.
Lydia looks at N as he places Helena's Bags on the ground. "Well, I'll leave you to get settled, dear. I'll have someone to come and retrieve you for Dinner." She said, walking out of Helena's room.
Helena nodded, before looking at N who was looking around the room. "At least the Stone Family has a better Security System than our Home. Regardless, you can never be too careful, Helena." N said, still on edge.
"You don't need to worry that much, N. I'll be alright." Helena said, ensuring him she'll be careful. "But I could say the same thing as you, N. You, Anthea, Concordia, and everyone else are going to be working with the Police. You all are going to be at the forefront of it all."
The green-haired trainer gave a soft smile at his Sister, "Helena, you forget. I was the King of Team Plasma before becoming your Assistant." N said, fully prepared for anything that might happen. "We can handle ourselves,"
N looks at the luggage before chuckling to himself. "It's going to be strange from now on. I'm so used to waking up in the Morning and you cooking Breakfast for me and the Pokemon." He said, cherishing those little moments. "And now you're moving out temporarily."
"I was expecting you to move out when the Twins are born, but I guess Life has other plans," N said, feeling a bit emotional.
"N…" Helena smiles, walking up to her Brother and hugging him.
N hugged his Sister back before letting go, he took a deep breath before speaking once more. "Steven will be here soon, I know he'll give anything to protect you. I'll do my best to figure out who's out to get you, Helena." He said, walking out of the room not before saying his goodbye.
Helena smiles, watching him leave. "Be careful." She said, looking at her luggage and began to unpack.
A few hours later, a Maid knocked on Helena's door. "Professor Potter, I'm here to take you to the Dining room-" She opens the door, seeing Helena on the Bed already asleep. "Hmm…I guess she must be tired after today." The Maid said to herself, shutting the door quietly.
The Maid turns around, about to tell both Lydia and Joseph about Helena when she sees someone familiar. "Oh, young master." She saw Steven walking rather quickly down the Hall,
Steven's face was a bit flushed, indicating that he just arrived back at the Mansion. "Diana, how is she?" He asked, catching his breath.
"Professor Potter is currently sleeping in her room." Diana, Helena's Assigned Maid informed the Champion.
"S-She is," Steven asked, huffing slightly. He walks over to the door, opening slightly to see her sleeping Body. He gave a small sigh of relief knowing she was alright.
Diana inclined her head to Steven as he entered Helena's room. "I'll take my leave, young master." The Maid said, leaving Steven to be with his Girlfriend.
Steven walks into Helena's room, his eyes lowered seeing the sleeping Body of his Pregnant Girlfriend. To the side, he saw Kirlia was sleeping with Dragonair, Hattrem, and Sylveon,
He pulled up the chair from the desk, and he sat down and looked at Helena sleeping. "I'm sorry," Steven apologizes, reaching out and gently touching her hair. "I'm sorry I wasn't here. If I haven't gone then I would've…" Steven paused, not sure what to do if he was here.
Helena stirs a bit before opening her eyes. Her eyes fluttered, seeing Steven slumping his head, "S-Steven?" She got up, feeling groggy after waking up.
Steven looks up, seeing Helena was already awake. "H-Helena," He said, letting go of her hair as he sat up, "S-Sorry, did I wake you?" He apologized,
"No, I just woke up myself," Helena said to her Boyfriend. In all honestly, she could hear his voice muttering something, she then saw his eyes were red indicating that he was crying a bit. "When did you get back?" She asked him.
"I just got here," Steven wipes his eyes before looking at her. "I came rushing in once I arrived at the Mansion." He said, coming closer to her and sitting down on her Bedside.
"How are you? How's our Children?" Steven asked, wanting to know if his Family was okay. "Did you get hurt?" He asked,
Helena nodded, "We're alright, Steven. Nothing happened to us, we were with your Mother when the Intruder broke into my Home." She said to the Steel-blue haired Champion.
Steven frowns, hearing his Pregnant Girlfriend was nearly injured. He came close and hugged her tightly, not sure what to do if he'd lost her.
Helena couldn't say anything, she was fully aware that Steven was overwhelmed by this. The only thing she could do was to comfort him as she patted him back. "You're trembling, Steven." She said, knowing what this means.
"I-I'm sorry, I was scared for you," Steven said, looking at his Girlfriend. "I don't want to see you hurt," He said, showing his weak side.
"Steven…" Helena smiles, kissing his cheeks.
A few minutes later, both Helena and Steven lay together as they talked. "You know, I kinda expected this to happen," Helena said.
Steven blinks, surprised by the sudden sentence. "You were expecting that your Lab was going to be invaded?" He asked, sitting up slowly.
"Not exactly like this, I just figured since my Research earned some reputation and some interest. It's natural that some…People would use my Research for their purposes." Helena explains to the Steel-blue haired Champion.
Steven frowns understanding what she means. The Devon Corporation has experienced Spies and Thieves after their Research and Technology. "I see…I understand, Helena." He said, closing his eyes.
The black-haired Woman closed her eyes before looking up at the ceiling. Helena couldn't help but think what would happen from here on out.
"Helena, is there something on your mind?" Steven asked, seeing her staring at the ceiling. "You seem to be deep in thought…" He said to his Girlfriend,
"I was just thinking…how long am I going to be in hiding," Helena asked, can't help but think of how long she needed to hide.
The Steel-blue haired Champion gave a warm expression to Helena, reaching out and holding Helena's hand. "It won't be long, Elli. Sooner or later things will go back to normal." Steven assured her that things would be fine.
"And soon, things will change once more when these two arrive," Steven said, moving his hand over to Helena's abdomen, gently caressing it.
Helena smiles, agreeing with what Steven said. She looks at him before seeing his face all surprised. "Steven? What's the matter?" She asked, seeing a smile growing on his face.
Steven looks up, feeling happy. "I think our Sons agree with what I said," He commented, feeling two kicks from within Helena's abdomen.
"You could feel them kicking?" Helena asked with a smile on her face.
Steven nodded, feeling another kick from his Sons within Helena. "Yes, and another one just came." He said, truly happy at the slightest movement of their Children.
Helena laughed and cried tears of joy, touching her abdomen and placing her hand over his.
The next Morning, Helena and Steven sat together in the Dining room as Breakfast was being served.
Lydia and Joseph noticed there was something different about the two. The navy-blue-haired Man smiles at the two, turning to the black-haired Woman. "How is your Night here, Helena? Did you sleep well?" Joseph asked the young Professor.
"You didn't come down for Dinner last night," Lydia said, showing a bit of concern over her Health. "You know, at this time during your Pregnancy is very crucial to stay Healthy for both you and your Children." She said, advising her Future Daughter-in-law.
Helena smiles, understanding what the white-haired Woman means. "Yes, I understand, Lydia. I just…forgot about Dinner…" She gave a small laugh.
Everyone smiles, seeing Helena is still the same despite what is happening. Lydia looks over to her Son, "Steven, are we to assume that you'll be staying here to protect Helena?" The retired Pokemon Coordinator asked the Champion.
Steven nodded, "Of course, I want to protect Helena during this time." He said, looking at his Girlfriend, "We still don't know who has broken into your Lab."
"Thank you, Steven," Helena said, not sure how many times she said than you.
"Well, as long as you're here, Helena. You have free reign around the Mansion," The navy-blue-haired Man said, not wanting to confine Helena to her room.
After Breakfast, Helena and Steven along with Diana went into the Garden. Helena had her Pokemon out, giving them some fresh air.
Helena stood on the brick path, looking at her Pokemon playing with Steven's Pokemon. She took notice that Steven had acquired some new Pokemon. "I didn't realize you caught new Pokemon during your trip, Steven."
Steven stood next to Helena, seeing her notice his Pokemon. "Ah, right, I didn't introduce them to you yet, Ellie." The Steel-blue haired Champion said, calling over three of his new Pokemon. "I always take these Pokemon during trips and train them to be on the same level as the others." He explains to Helena.
The three look up, running over to them. Steven looks at Helena, introducing the new members of his Team.
He motions his hand to a white tall Pokemon that reminds Helena of a Building in Britain. "The first is Duraludon, I met him during my trip to the Galar Region to check on a Sister Branch of the Devon Corporation," Steven explains to his Girlfriend.
"Duraludon!" The Steel/Dragon-type Pokemon roars, showing off his power to Helena.
Helena walks over to the Duel-type Pokemon, reaching her hand as the Alloy Pokemon allows her to pet him. "I've never seen a Duraludon this close before." She smiles, "And he looks Healthy too,"
"A Healthy Duraludon can be detected when the Metal Armor is shining and never dull," Steven said, remembering how to care for Steel, Rock, and Ground-type Pokemon.
Helena smiles, turning to the next Pokemon. A bipedal turtle-like Pokemon covered with navy blue shelling. "This here is another Fossil Pokemon, Carracosta," Steven explains,
"Carracosta, N has a Carracosta too. Their Fossils are uniquely found in the Unova." Helena commented, petting the Fossil Pokemon's head.
"My Father gifted me a Cover Fossil shipped from Driftveil City as a Present." The Champion explains to his Girlfriend. "Carracosta has been my hardest-working Pokemon," He said, proud of his hard work.
Carracosta smiles, showing off in front of his trainer's Girlfriend.
Helena laughs softly, seeing how prideful the Prototurtle was. "I can tell, his voice is powerful. You raised him well, Steven." She said,
Steven smiles before introducing his final new Pokemon to Helena. "And finally, this here is Carbink. I found him in the Desert Resort or Route One Eleven." The Champion explains to the young Professor. "They're quite rare in Hoenn, abundant in the Kalos Region.'
Carbink hops before Helena, excited to finally meet Helena. "Carbink, Bink!" The Rock/Fairy-type smiles, greeting Helena.
"How adorable," Helena said, wanting to lean down and pet Steven's Carbink. However with her abdomen, as it is now, it'll be a difficult thing to do.
Steven walked over, picked up his new Pokemon, and showed him to Helena. "Allow me, Ellie." He said, assisting her with petting the Jewel Pokemon.
The black-haired Professor reached out, petting Carbink gently. "You got yourself some great Pokemon, here Steven." Helena smiles, not noticing that he is blushing but smiling and happy. "I'm sure you'll train them well, Steven."
"Thanks, Ellie…"
Rustboro City, Team Magma Outpost
Within an abandoned Building, Courtney sat down on a crate with three Grunts facing him. "Well, that's a bust. What do we do now?" Maya asked the Leader of the Team. "We didn't find that damn Research anywhere and now they are on high alert at the Lab."
A Grunt turns to Maya, "Don't be disrespectful to Courtney, Maya." She hissed at the teal-haired Girl.
"Well, what do you expect!? That Bitch manage to hide away her valuable Research from us." Maya retorted, glaring at the Team Magma Grunt. "And after our failed raid, we can't go back to look again!" She said, defending herself.
"Regardless, Courtney will come up with a new plan to help Leader Maxie achieve his dreams." The other Team Magma Grunt stated, looking back at the Leader of their group. "Am I right, Courtney? Courtney?" He looks at the violet-haired Admin,
Courtney was merely looking out the window, watching as the Citizens of Rustboro City walked down the streets with their Pokemon.
Maya's eye twitches, looking at the Admin. "Courtney, what are we going to do now? The Plan has fai-"
"It's going to be fine," Courtney spoke up, informing her underlings.
The three Grunts looked at each other, unsure what Courtney meant. "What do you mean, Courtney?" The Female Grunt asked her Team Leader.
Courtney looks up, closing her eyes. "The Events as I foresaw them is going as expected. By now, the Target has sought refugee with the Stone Family." She said, already used her Ability to foresee the Events ahead of time. "Our Spy has already sent a decoded message a few minutes ago," She lifts her Team Magma Rotom Phone with an encrypted Message.
"The message has all we need of the Stone Family's Mansion layout." Courtney continued to inform the three. "About a week from now, their Security will be lessened. Stay on standby until I say to move in." She said, ordering the group.
"Hai," The three responded, following the direct order from the Admin.
Maya frowns, hearing that black-haired hussy is staying with her In-Laws. "Seeking refuge with my In-Laws? Just wait you Bitch, I'll personally see to it you'd pay for stealing what's mine." She said to herself, not noticing Courtney's robotic glare at her.
"Analyze, chances of success…" Courtney observes Maya, seeing a possible successful Mission upon them.
