Day 26
Last Man Standing
Camp
Final Three: Alice, Killua, Michiru
"Is someone going to say it?" Alice says as the three walk back to camp.
"Let's all say it in unison," Killua replies.
"Wow!" all three players shout.
"This game has been crazy," Alice says. "It's a NEW ERA of Survivor, and I think we're playing the best we can under the circumstances. I would have preferred to have Killua on that jury making my case for me, but here we are, stuck together in the Final Three."
For the final time, Killua and Alice wake up before everyone else, as Michiru sleeps soundly in the shelter.
"Well, well, well," Killua says.
"Yeah, you can say it," Alice says.
"You say it too," Killua says.
"I didn't want you here!" the two shout in unison.
They both begin chuckling.
"If you were on that jury, I'd win for sure," Killua says. "And I know it would be the same if our roles were reversed."
"You bet," Alice says. "I had my entire spiel planned out for what I was going to tell the other jury members. Now I've got to rethink everything."
"Oh, I've been thinking up all sorts of speeches all game long," Killua says. "The one speech I didn't have was the one where it was the two of us at the end together. I don't know what I'm going to say tonight. It's all going to be spontaneous."
"It's too bad Alice couldn't be making my case for me on that jury," Killua says. "Nevertheless, I made it to the end as literally the last Man standing. And as a result, I've got a great case to present to the jury. I made it through a tribe that fell apart at midseason, but rebounded thanks to some questionable choices by the Women. I hope they buy my side of the story, that I have played a better game due to the difficulty of overcoming that big deficit between our tribes."
Alice goes over to treemail and finds a letter there.
"It's treemail!" she calls, and Michiru wakes up. Killua and Michiru then walk over to hear what the letter has to say.
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,
A season with no stupid notes with stupid rhymes;
But we had to have just one bad message,
Go on a journey to the Rites of Passage."
"Wow, what a bad poem," Killua remarks.
"You mean to tell me, we still have to do the Rites of Passage, even in this NEW ERA?" Killua says.
"I suppose so," Michiru states.
"This is going to be an uphill battle for me tonight," Michiru says. "My only hope is that Killua so badly divided the Men, that half of them aren't going to vote for them. I feel confident I'm not going to get shut out tonight, but do I have enough to win? That's going to be tricky."
Rites of Passage
The three players begin walking down a path, which has the torches of every player who was in the game.
"Sabrina," Alice says, seeing the first torch.
"She just can't survive," Michiru says. "Though this time, it definitely was her fault."
"I tried doing the buddy system on steroids, and it didn't work," Sabrina says. "Karen went rogue and used her extra vote to blindside me. I will never play Survivor again; I'm sick of having my heart ripped out of my chest. At least I can say that Queen Cynthia never won the game either. But you've seen the last of me on this show."
The players come up to the next torch.
"Gary Oak," Michiru says.
"He played this too hard from the word 'go,'" Killua says. "His aggressiveness cost him a chance at winning."
"Yeah, this game just isn't for me," Gary says. "Everything I ever do on this show comes back to bite me in the butt. I can't make a good decision if my life depended on it. Sorry guys, I'm sick of this stupid game; I'll never play it again. I won't miss it, either."
The players walk on up to the next torch.
"Cato," Alice says.
"Wow, what an imbecile," Killua says. "He basically cost himself a shot in this game by breaking the rules."
"If I could do it again, I'd burn the place to the ground again," Cato says. "Only, I wouldn't try to blame anyone else for it. I'd take full responsibility and laugh about it. Survivor just isn't my game, and no, I'm not coming back. Yakety yak, don't talk back."
The contestants walk on over to the next torch.
"Karen," Killua says.
"Karen got what she deserved, which was an early exit," Michiru says. "No one really liked her."
"Yeah, I got along with her for the time being, but she was so abrasive and hard to work with," Alice says. "Glad to see her go early."
"I'm not one of those oversentimental people who says they'll never play again," Karen says. "In fact, I want to be invited back as soon as possible. I played this game the only way I know how – full throttle. It got me a long way the first time in Shamouti Island, but not so far this time. Finishing ahead of Sabrina is the only accolade I get from this season, as if that means anything. But I'm happy to have at least made some people miserable."
The Survivors walk on up to the next torch.
"Lucian," Alice says.
"Wow, another real loser," Killua says. "He had a death wish of sorts, maybe even literally. He aligned himself with the wrong people and made all the wrong decisions. He deserves what he got – a bus ticket home."
"I came out here trying to win the million dollars for my Queen Cynthia," Lucian says. "While I came up short, Queen Cynthia has become more reasonable in recent days. It's almost as if she mellowed out. And that means I won't be losing my head for losing on this game. Still, this was a pretty miserable experience. If I ever come back, I hope I'm playing with Queen Cynthia, and not anyone like that loser Cato."
The contestants go on over to the torch after that.
"Prussia," Michiru says.
"He was never really a threat to anyone," Killua says. "Just an annoying loser."
"It was awesome to get another try to play this game!" Prussia says. "But what's not so awesome is that I lost before the merge. I wish I could have made it farther. Oh well, time to go bother Austria some more!"
The players come up on the next torch.
"Mayuri," Alice states.
"Got beaten by the purple rock," Killua says. "While there's no shame in that, he didn't play the game very well."
"I wish I had more time to do some experiments out here!" Mayuri says. "But in any case, it was an interesting game. I don't think I ever had a chance at winning, because I never had the numbers. But I would have liked to experiment with a four-way tie. Wouldn't that be interesting?"
Alice, Killua, and Michiru walk on over to the next torch.
"Ami," Michiru says lovingly. "You deserved so much better. You're one of the greatest players to ever play this game. You just have had bad luck."
"I beg to differ," Alice says. "You are what your record is. And Ami's record is 0-4 when it comes to making the Final Three."
"I am the first person on the jury, and I fully plan on making this Final Tribal Council a spectacle," Ami says. "People think I'm all shy and quiet, but I have an aggressive side that I don't show often. I'm going to make it very clear who I think deserves this million-dollar prize. Spoiler alert: it's not Alice."
The players come up on the next torch.
"Mine," Alice says. "You and I have the strangest relationship. I hope you appreciated our weird friendship."
"Tonight's vote is interesting for me," Mine says. "I can either reward Alice for sticking by me during this season, or punish her for doing what she did to me last season. I have the power in my hands for reward or revenge, and it's going to be so much fun getting to do so."
The contestants walk over to the torch after that, which they notice is lying on the ground.
"Spike," Alice states.
"A quitter," Michiru says.
"Yeah, he quit, but I bet he just didn't feel like dying again," Killua says. "It's understandable, not wanting to die."
"I've been given new life out here, literally," Spike says. "And I don't have any clue which way I'm going to vote tonight. None of these three people is an attractive choice to me. I don't know who I'm gonna pick."
The players shuffle over to another torch.
"Misty," Michiru says. "You and I really got along, and it would have been amazing if you could have made it to the Final Three with myself and Jasmine. But someone blew up that plan."
"Gee, I wonder who that could be?" Alice says, putting a finger on her chin.
"Tonight's Final Tribal Council is all about revenge," Misty says. "They say the NEW ERA of Survivor is all kumbaya and stuff. It's not going to be that way with me tonight. I'm going no-holds-barred against these people. And I'll make it plain and clear who the others should place their votes for."
The three of them walk over to another torch.
"Haruhi," Michiru says.
"Boy, wasn't it fun having you in our little alliance?" Alice says. "But you couldn't help yourself. You played too hard, and it ended up costing you."
"I play this game for fun!" Haruhi says. "Who I'm going to vote for comes down to who I feel is the most fun! Plus, I now hold the record for most days played in this game. I want everyone to know that here at Tribal Council tonight! I'm really the GOAT, not any of these three people."
The players come up on the next torch.
"Kirito," Killua says. "You know, I really hate what I did. I hate that I betrayed you like that. But what other choice did I have? If it wasn't you, then it was going to be me. I just had to do it."
"Killua betrayed and backstabbed me," Kirito says. "Am I going to hold it against him? You know what, I'm not sure. It's going to depend on how things go tonight. I'm going to make my decision based on what he has to say, and what the others have to say. It ought to be one interesting Tribal Council."
The three of them walk on over to the torch after that.
"Joe," Killua says. "Another person I betrayed. I can only hope he understands why I did it."
"I never saw the writing on the wall until it was way too late," Joe says. "I needed to bond with Kyon and Kirito and blindside Killua. But I waited too long, and Killua just played the game better than me. He deserves to be there."
The players go on over to the next torch.
"Jasmine," Alice says.
"You and I were close," Michiru says. "I didn't think I could make such a good friend out here. You and I would have made a good tandem at the Final Three. But I think you would have beaten me, so I'm kind of glad you didn't make it this far."
"My vote seems pretty obvious, but I've got to think about it," Jasmine says. "Someone who stuck with me through thick and thin, yeah, that sounds like who I should vote for. But it's a NEW ERA of Survivor, so maybe I should go for the person who played the boldest game."
The contestants walk on over to the torch after that.
"Konata," Killua states.
"A pleasure to play with," Alice says. "I'm not sure if you're gonna be mad at me for blindsiding you, though."
"Alice really put the knife in my back, didn't she?" Konata says. "But I've discussed with Haruhi what we're going to do tonight, and it's an interesting choice. We're going to signal to each other who we want to vote for; surely that wouldn't be breaking the rules too badly."
The players come up on the final torch.
"Kyon," Killua says. "I wish he could have gone to the end with me, because he would have been a heck of a lot easier to beat."
"You're telling me," Alice says. "I can't see him getting any votes, or at least any besides Haruhi and Konata."
"I made it a lot farther than anyone could have thought I would," Kyon says. "But here I am, the final jury member, ready to make a decision on who wins this game. It's not an easy one. I've got to really think about it, and make the right choice as to who deserves that million dollars."
Alice, Killua, and Michiru then see a big breakfast feast waiting for them.
"Time to eat!" Alice exclaims. "And this time, I don't have to cook anything!"
"I've been waiting for this moment for all my life," Killua says. "Okay, maybe not that long. But it's good to have something besides rice."
"This is what you play for, isn't it?" Michiru says. "The Final Three breakfast. It's finally ours!"
The players begin eating some pancakes, scrambled eggs, toast, and hash browns, while drinking some orange juice.
"No one expected me to make it this far," Michiru says. "I hope the jury appreciates the long, hard road it was for me to make it all the way here. I'm going to make my case at this Final Tribal Council, and see what the jury thinks. Hopefully, they see me as a scrappy underdog, not as a hopeless goat."
"Not too many Men have won Crazy Survivor," Killua says. "In fact, only three have, and one of those 'men' was China, who we're not sure is actually a man. So, it's me, Finnick Odair, and Ash Ketchum, that's the way I see it. Three or four male winners of this show. I'll be one of them."
"This is very like the Regimental Food Wars," Alice says. "It all comes down to this. I'm going to cook up a good speech, season it with some good answers, and serve up a resumé that makes it clear that I deserve to win this game. It's not gonna be easy, but what is in this game?"
Final Tribal Council
The three remaining players take their torches into the Tribal Council area and drop them off at the designated spot.
"We now bring in the members of our jury," Jet states. "Ami, Mine, Spike, Misty, Haruhi, Kirito, Joe, Jasmine, Konata, and Kyon."
The jury files in and takes their seats. Meanwhile, the seven players who were voted out before the jury file in to the peanut gallery.
"Good luck!" Sabrina calls.
Alice, Michiru, and Killua look up to them and wave, and the seven of them wave back.
"All right," Jet says, as everyone takes a seat, including him. "Tonight, the power in this game shifts over to the jury, ten people who you had your hand in eliminating from this game. They will have the ability to choose a winner. Tonight is arguably the only night you want to see your name on the parchment. You can argue there are some other examples, but tonight, you get your name written down, you are one vote closer to victory. I'll give you a minute to think about it, and we'll head to commercial. Back after this!"
Jet points both fingers at the camera in a cheesy pose. A bit later, he addresses the players again.
"Now, here's how we're going to do things tonight. This is going to be a hybrid of the old Tribal Council method and the new one. We're going to start with opening statements. We will then have a discussion on Outwit, which is who played the best social games. We'll then have a discussion on Outplay, where we will talk about who played best at advantages and challenges. I'll then open the floor for anyone who wants to ask a question or make a comment. Finally, we will have Outlast, where each of the Final Three makes their last case as to why they deserve the million dollars."
"That's a lot to chew on," Alice comments.
"It is. But now I open the floor to you, Alice. You may fire when ready."
"Okay," Alice says. "Hi, everyone! My name is Alice Nakiri, and I am a member of the Elite Ten of Totsuki Academy. What that means is that I'm a really good chef. So, I thought about what I was going to prepare tonight. For appetizers, I made two alliances at the very start of the game, one with Mine, and one with Killua. You may say, what is it worth for me to have an alliance with Killua? That's the main course, that I completely controlled the game with the help of Killua. I called all the shots on the Women Tribe, while he did the same with the Men. But since it was me feeding info to Killua, it was as if I controlled this entire game. Finally, for dessert, it's really simple. I played hard from start to finish, all the way to the end, when I blindsided Konata. I hope you'll be willing to take a bite of my savory meal."
The jury claps and chuckles at Alice's food puns, as do the pre-jury members in the peanut gallery. Killua can't help himself and begins clapping too.
"All right," Jet states. "Next comes Killua."
"Greetings," Killua says. "As many of you know, Alice and I were a power couple in this game."
"Oh, really?" Mine asks from the jury bench, to many laughs.
"That's right," Killua says. "But Alice isn't being truthful when she says that she was calling the shots over at the Men Tribe. No, I was running the show there, and she didn't have anything to do with it. Every single vote at the Men Tribe, I chose who was going home and who wasn't. This was my game. And just look, there's not a single Man remaining in this game. I survived my tribe's shortcomings and made it to the end. I deserve the million dollars the most."
"Okay," Jet says. "Finally, Michiru."
"Hi, guys!" Michiru says, waving to the jury. "There's a lot more to Survivor than BIG MOVES and backstabbings. I created genuine relationships with many of you out here. Jasmine, Ami, Misty – you know I was authentic the whole game. I never double-crossed anybody, not from Day 1 to Day 26. I played honestly, I told the truth the whole time, and I didn't make any enemies. I got here on merit, not by sheer luck. If you feel that one of these two excelled at all three portions of this game, then you may vote for them. But I've done exactly what the motto of Survivor says. I've Outwitted others to avoid being voted out, I've Outplayed others by playing my Shot-in-the-Dark, and I've Outlasted everyone except for this power couple. That's why I believe you should pick me."
"All right," Jet states. "Now, we will talk about Outwit, the social portion of this game, which Michiru alluded to. Anyone have some thoughts on that?"
"Yeah, I do," Ami says. "I can't think of any better way to play the game than Michiru. She made herself vulnerable yet untouchable the whole game. She took risks, while remaining under the water like an Alli-Gabler, and she finds herself outlasting all of her alliance mates. I think she played the best social game."
"But there's more to social game than that," Kirito breaks in. "To me, the social game also involves making BIG MOVES. Killua clearly did that. He controlled the game from start to finish over at the Men Tribe. Michiru did nothing. Zero. Squat. She let the game come to her instead of playing the game."
"And what's so bad about that?" Jasmine asks. "That's exactly what you're supposed to do in Survivor. It's all about making it to the end, Outlasting, not showing off how strategic you can be."
"But Killua did that too!" Joe breaks in. "He made it to the very bitter end of his tribe's existence. You can't say he didn't Outlast, because he definitely did Outlast, just in a different way! He had total control over our tribe."
"And that's a good thing?" Misty asks.
"How about Alice?" Mine offers. "Alice managed to make friends with me, of all people, after having hurt me emotionally last season. The two of us made up, and that's not very easy for me to do. I really feel like she played the best social game. She ran the show over here in my alliance. Michiru obviously can't say that, and I don't think Killua can either. Killua captained a crumbling Men Tribe which failed and crashed spectacularly, with him the last person to remain from what was a joke of a tribe. To me, Alice has been the best Outwitter."
"I think this is going to go down like the Cold War," Joe says. "Right down tribal lines. We who were part of the Men Tribe, we see Killua as the leader of our tribe and the guy calling the shots. Those of you Women who survived, you see it more as Alice calling the shots. It's a matter of perspective."
"Not necessarily!" Haruhi exclaims. "For one, I don't like the fact that Alice is trying to take credit for what Konata and I did. We were the ones calling the shots, not her!"
"I concur!" Konata says. "Alice and Mine were only half our alliance. If Alice is trying to take all the credit for the moves that we made, I'm not too happy about that."
"I don't know, I think Alice may be telling the truth, that she was feeding all the info to Killua and telling him who to vote off," Spike says.
"Does it matter who calls the shots?" Kyon says. "Personally, I want to vote for the person who most deserves the million. That involves being likable, and not just making BIG MOVES."
"All right," Jet says. "It is now time for the Outplay portion of this discussion. We will talk about advantages and challenges and that type of stuff. Who wants to get us started?"
"I will," Joe says. "To me, it seemed like every challenge, we were relying on Killua. He put us on his back. He was like Boston Rob, literally carrying his 'family' on his back. And when you're in the same conversation as Boston Bob, that's a good thing."
"Not if you were simply one of Boston Rob's zombies, from Redemption Island or otherwise," Mine says. "You two were zombies over there, following every order that Killua made."
"I guess that's true," Kyon says.
"How about the Shot-in-the-Dark?" Jasmine brings up. "Michiru used one, and it worked perfectly. She got the luck that I didn't get, and she was able to remain safe for that vote."
"In fact, had she not played that, she would have gone home, not me," Ami says. "Maybe there was a little bit of luck involved, but she knew when to play it, and she took advantage of that opportunity."
"I don't know, though," Spike says. "Sounds like a whole lot of luck, not just a little bit."
"Alice was completely in control of those extra votes and steal-a-votes," Mine says.
"Nonsense!" Haruhi exclaims. "Konata and myself were! Stop giving credit to Mine when it belongs to us!"
"Yeah, really!" Konata concurs. "You guys thought we were just coattail riding. In reality, we were calling the shots the whole time!"
"But you two aren't up for voting tonight," Kirito says. "You aren't part of the Final Three, they are. And I can tell you, Killua outmaneuvered everyone when it came to advantages that were lurking out there. He knew what to do, and he's the reason Joe and myself got so far."
"I don't know about that," Kyon says. "A lot of Killua's 'strategy' was that he relied on the rest of the tribe to implode, which we did, mainly thanks to Spike's quit like Jimmy Johnson."
"At least Jimmy Johnson had the decency to go to a vote," Joe says.
"This isn't about Jimmy Johnson!" Misty shouts. "Let's face it, Michiru made the boldest risk of this entire game, save for maybe picking rocks. She risked her vote on that Shot-in-the-Dark, and it worked like a charm. That's exactly what Outplay means."
"All right," Jet says. "Now, it's time for each of the jury to ask questions. Ami, you're up first."
Ami, wearing a beautiful aqua blue dress, stands up in front of the Final Three.
"I have played this game four times and failed all four of them," she says. "I'm a thinker. I think out everything, and then I pay for it when people don't make the moves I expect. It's a lot like chess against a bad player. You can play the game the right way, the way that would win you games against high-quality players. But since your opponent is so weak, you end up making things too hard on yourself and wind up falling into a trap. My question to you is a trick one, but so be it. If you described your game as a chess piece, what piece would you be?"
Alice chuckles at the question. "There's only one right answer: the queen. Queens may go wherever they like, zooming across the board. I was all over the board making moves, taking a pawn over here, maybe a bishop over there. I had complete control. That's me, the queen."
Killua smirks. "Good answer, but I've got to say, I'm the knight. I jump around from square to square, leaping out of trouble, while forking two opponents, with the option to take both of them."
Michiru smiles. "You know what, I'd say I'm the king. The entire game depends on the survival of the king. I've managed to survive all the checks from the other pieces, and even though I move only one square at a time, I still haven't been checkmated."
"Thank you all so much," Ami says. "As frustrated as I was, I commend your play and wish you all well."
Ami takes her seat, and next comes Mine, dressed up in a pink gown.
"My question for all of you is, did each of you have a number one, or did you consider all other opponents equal?" Mine asks.
"Good question," Michiru says. "I had a couple of number ones. First was Ami, we were coupled together during the buddy system that Sabrina came up with."
Sabrina chuckles from the peanut gallery.
"But once Ami was gone, it became Jasmine," Michiru continues. "The two of us were very close. We fought together as long as we could. But ultimately, she went home due to a purple rock, that she was willing to pick for me. I think that speaks volumes about our relationship."
"I had two number ones," Killua says. "They're both sitting there on the jury next to each other – Kirito and Joe. We stuck together for as long as we could, then I had to cut them loose because they would have put me in jeopardy. They would admit it, too, that I had to vote them out at that point or else they were going to blindside me."
"That's right," Joe says.
"He's telling the truth," Kirito says.
"How about you, Alice?" Mine asks.
"I'm going to be honest," Alice says. "While you and I were close, I don't think there was anyone here who I was closer with than the boy sitting right here. Killua and I were extremely close and made lots of decisions together. For Killua to not mention me, I can tell that he's playing this game hard even to the end. He doesn't want to admit that we were the power couple in this game, and that I influenced lots of his decisions."
"It's not that at all!" Killua says. "I was referring to number ones as toward voting. We weren't on the same tribe. The two of us were allies, but not in a traditional sense. I never considered you a number one, because we couldn't vote together."
"Uh-huh, sure," Alice replies. "Mine, you and I voted together, we made up with each other, we even had some fun together – but Killua and I were closer. I've just got to be honest about it."
"I appreciate your honesty," Mine says. "I'm looking for authenticity, and what you just gave me is about as authentic as it gets."
Mine takes her seat, and Spike gets up to speak.
"I've just got to say, it feels good to be alive," he says. "But more than that, all three of you are alive in this game. My question is, at what point do you start thinking endgame? Do you begin back on Day 1? I don't think that's realistic, to be honest with you. I'm just curious."
"I didn't think about the Final Three until today!" Michiru exclaims. "I really felt no pressure to prepare for the Final Three or anything of the sort until this morning. My goal was just to make it vote-to-vote, and I did just that."
"I think I started thinking about it halfway through," Alice says. "Maybe a little bit earlier, but I saw that Killua would be a threat to me if he were to go the whole way. The problem was, there was nothing I could do about eliminating him! I was definitely thinking end game these past 10 days, no question about it. Just not from the very beginning."
"Day 1," Killua says. "Day 1. My goal was to win this game, not place second, third, fourth, fifth, or anything else. And that's the mindset you have to have to succeed at this game. You've got to push all the way from the very beginning. I don't think there's any better strategy to play this game."
"Thank you," Spike says, and he returns to his seat.
"Misty, you're up next," Jet says.
Misty walks out in an orange gown. "Hi, everybody! I know this is nerve-wracking for all of you, but I have to ask: how do you survive the emotional and mental game? I was out here only 19 days, and I felt overwhelmed. How are you three getting by?"
"Not eating helps a lot!" Killua exclaims. "By not eating all that much, there's nothing in my stomach to vomit up. So I would say that the best way to keep your food down, is to not eat any food at all."
"I don't know, I'm not sure," Alice says. "It might help that I just came from the last Crazy Survivor season, so I was more used to it. I would say that's the reason I'm able to adjust better."
"To be honest, Misty, I feel the same way you do!" Michiru says. "I'm nervous, my stomach is in knots, I feel nauseous, and my anxiety is at an all-time high. But you've got to keep thinking of what you're here for, who you're playing for. That person is my Haruka, and I just picture her in my mind anytime I'm ready to quit, because she played this game twice and lasted 39 days each time."
"Thanks, guys," Misty says, before going back to her seat.
"Next up – Haruhi Suzumiya," Jet states.
Haruhi clears her throat. "Are any of you aliens, time travelers, or espers? If so, come and see me after the game. If not, I have no use for you!"
Everyone has a chuckle at Haruhi's statement.
"Also, I want to know why you voted out Konata and not Michiru, Alice!" Haruhi exclaims. "Surely it made more sense to keep Konata around!"
Alice grins. "It was a compliment to her," she states. "I thought so highly of her that I thought she was going to get jury votes. I had to make sure she wasn't at the Final Three."
"Doesn't make much sense to me!" Haruhi says, pouting as she returns to her seat.
"Next up, Kirito."
"Hi guys!" Kirito says upon taking the podium. "Tell me, which one of the other Final Three deserves the million dollars the least."
"Obviously Michiru," Alice says. "She didn't play a good game at all, she just got rather lucky. She doesn't deserve jury votes."
"I can't argue with that," Killua says. "She rode the coattails of her alliance mates to make it this far."
Michiru tries to keep composure. "I've worked hard to make it here," she says. "I don't think what they're saying is fair. To answer your question, I'd have to say Killua. Our tribe won more challenges than his, and some of the ones we lost we actually threw. Alice was on the winning side more often than not, so I pick Killua."
"Thank you so much," Kirito says, as he returns to his seat.
"Next up, we've got Joe."
"Hi everyone!" Joe says. "My wife Giselle and I share a passionate love. So passionate, that I took her last name of Gravelpot. The two of us have been through thick and thin together. My question to you three is, who's your significant other, and how much did they have an influence on your game?"
"I'm playing this for Haruka," Michiru says. "It's not just that we love each other, it's that she won this game before and I'm looking to do the same! She is an inspiration to me."
Alice chuckles. "Yeah, I've got someone…" she says. "His name is Ryo. He's a good cook too, just not as good as me. If I won the million dollars, I may let him have some of it… but only a little!"
"Me?" Killua says. "I kind of have a thing for Canary, but we aren't together or anything. Do I think about her a lot? Of course, I do out here. I'm not so sure that we have a relationship of that kind, however."
"Thanks," Joe says, going back to his seat. Jasmine makes her way over to the podium.
"Hi," she says nervously. "I just want to congratulate you three on playing a great game, especially you, Michiru. You stayed loyal and true to me and to our alliance from Day 1 to Day 26. Thank you all for giving me this opportunity."
"All right," Jet says, as Jasmine goes back to her seat. "Konata, you're up."
Konata walks over to Jet's podium. "Haruhi came up here earlier and asked all the questions I was going to ask."
"Sorry!" Haruhi shouts from the jury bench.
"No problem," Konata says. "I've got a couple to piggyback on those ones. Alice, if you really thought I was a bigger threat to you than Michiru, then why did you keep me around as long as you did? Something's not adding up here."
"Honestly, it was a decision based on who I thought I could beat at the Final Three, and who I thought I could beat at fire," Alice replies.
"But you knew I couldn't make fire!" Konata exclaims. "And I'm a lot like Jimmy Johnson – no jury's going to award me a million bucks. Was it Killua who told you to do that?"
"I told her to trust her gut," Killua replies. "I didn't tell her specifically to vote you out."
"This just doesn't make any sense to me," Konata replies. "I guess I'm just a bitter juror."
"So am I!" Haruhi calls from the bench.
"All right," Jet says. "Final juror to speak, Kyon. Go ahead."
"Thank you," Kyon says from the podium. "You know, this is a complex game. There's all kinds of strategies and sub-strategies, and then there are idols, advantages, and Fire Tokens. There's elaborate immunity challenges and souped-up Tribal Council areas. There's 20 people, 26 days, and by my count 25 challenges. But there's one other thing – that's heart. One of you showed the most heart this season, more than the other two. That's how I'm placing my vote – and you'll find out who that is when Jet reads the votes. Thank you."
Kyon goes back to his seat, while the Final Three and jurors clap for his statement.
"Okay," Jet states. "I'm going to give each of you Final Three the chance to tell everyone why you Outlasted. This is your final chance to make your case to the jury, before you vote. Michiru, you're up first."
"Thank you," Michiru says. "There are many ways to judge a Final Three. You can judge them on BIG MOVES, on strategic prowess, on challenge victories, on advantage playing… or simply by which person made the most friendships, developed the most relationships, and told the truth the whole time. I believe I fall into that last category. It was a pleasure playing with you all, and I appreciate all the time I had getting to know all of you."
"Next, Killua," Jet says.
"The NEW ERA of Survivor demands a new way of voting for winners," Killua states. "Instead of voting based on relationships and alliances, you should vote for who played this game the hardest. Who took the most risks, made the most blindsides, influenced the most votes. And that person is me. I took out Kirito and Joe as BIG MOVES. I controlled every single vote on my tribe, and maybe a couple over at the Women's camp. I deserve the million dollars based on my superior gameplay."
"Finally, Alice," Jet says.
"I've given you a whole meal," Alice says. "But now I've got leftovers."
Everyone has a good laugh.
"The leftovers are simple," she says. "I orchestrated lots of votes as the season went along, and I built up relationships with some of you. I played both sides of this game, on the Women's side as well as even the Men's side. The whole meal is cooked, and now it's up to you to take the leftovers out of the refrigerator and heat them up. I promise you, my meal is better than any Thanksgiving dinner you've ever had."
"All right, thank you," Jet says. "I'll give everyone a minute to think about everything, and we will be… back after this!"
He points both fingers at the camera with a cheesy pose. After about a minute, he returns to his podium.
"Tonight you are voting for a winner," Jet says. "For the final time, it is… time to vote."
The Tribal Council theme "Tally the Vote" plays as the jury goes to vote.
Ami goes to vote.
"The easiest decision I've had all game," Ami says, holding up her vote for Michiru. "You go win this game and settle down with Haruka. I'll be at your wedding."
Haruhi goes to vote.
Jasmine goes to vote.
"You played a fantastic game," Jasmine says, showing her vote for Michiru. "You deserve every cent of this million dollars you're about to receive."
Joe goes to vote.
"You got me, you really got me good," Joe says, holding up his vote for Killua. "That blindside was worth a cool million. I can't think of anyone else who played as good as you… ever."
Kirito goes to vote.
"It takes a lot of guts to vote out your right-hand man, and do it multiple times," Kirito says, showing his vote for Killua. "That's the guts of a winner, which is what you're about to be."
Konata goes to vote.
Kyon goes to vote.
Mine goes to vote.
"I can't believe I'm doing this," Mine says, holding up her vote for Alice. "I can't believe it. But you earned this by making up with me this season. I appreciate your friendship, and I sincerely hope you win."
Misty goes to vote.
Spike goes to vote.
"Hey, girl, you deserve this," Spike says, showing his vote for Alice. "You have done everything necessary to deserve this million-dollar check. And whatever you do, please: do not die."
Spike comes back from voting, and Jet nods.
"I'll go get the votes."
Jet walks over, grabs the voting urn, then brings it over to the podium.
"Alice, Killua, Michiru, jury, peanut gallery, thank you for an amazing season of Survivor. I'm going to read the votes right…"
He pauses for dramatic effect.
"…after we go back to Indigo Stadium for the reading of the votes."
He grabs the voting urn and hustles out of camp, as the players begin to clap. Jet jumps on a jetski with the urn, and he begins his voyage to Indigo Plateau. The camera pans from the players still back at Tribal Council, to Indigo Stadium, where 100,000 people are cheering as Jet enters the stadium.
"Thank you, thank you!" Jet says.
Jet brings the urn over to a podium set out in front of the players and the jury. Alice is wearing a lovely white dress, Killua is suited up in a tuxedo, and Michiru is wearing a beautiful aquamarine evening gown.
"Thank you, thank you!" Jet says. "Our 15th season of Survivor may have been our craziest yet! There's only one thing left to do: declare a winner. For the final time, I will read the votes."
He pulls out the first vote.

"The winner of Survivor: Crazy Game Changers, Michiru Kaioh."
Michiru begins to cry, while Alice and Killua hug her.
"You did great, you did great," Alice says.
"You deserve this so much," Killua says.
Out of the audience come running the entire bunch of Sailor Guardians. Michiru slaps high fives with Rei Hino, Usagi Tsukino, Makoto Kino, Setsuna Meiou, Chibi-Usa, and Hotaru Tomoe, with Ami rushing down from the jury bench to congratulate her. Michiru then comes up to two others.
"The two winners," she says, trying to hold back tears.
"You mean three," Minako Aino says, hugging her warmly.
Michiru then looks over at Haruka Tenoh and breaks down hysterically.
"I love you!" Michiru shouts as she falls into her arms.
Haruka picks her head up, then looks at her eye to eye.
"I love you too," she says, before locking lips with her in a passionate kiss.
As they finish kissing, Alice and Killua look at each other in disbelief.
"Not what I was expecting," Killua says.
"Now how in the world did that happen?" Alice says.
"We're about to find out!" Jet exclaims. "Congratulations to Michiru Kaioh, the 15th winner in Survivor history, and the third Sole Survivor from Sailor Moon! Coming up next, the reunion, where you'll find out exactly why Michiru won this game, and why the power couple of Alice and Killua came up short. Plus, I hear there's going to be a marriage proposal of some sort, and Hatsune Miku will name her 'Sia Award' winners. We'll be right back with the reunion!"
The camera focuses in on Michiru, who is hugging Haruka while wiping away tears.
"You did it," Haruka says softly. "You did it."
