Disclaimer: I don't own Overlord( オーバーロード) or Gate as it belongs to its rightful owners.

Author's Note: Finally done! This took an awful lot of work. But here it is, as promised. I always loved the crossover fanfictions between Gate and Overlord. But regrettably there are only two of which suits my tastes. So, I wanted to mix my own share of craziness to this.

Here Ainz might seem a little OOC, but that's intentional. Like always he'll be an OP character. This story will mainly be focused on Ainz in the world of Falmart, as he goes against both the empire and Earth.

In some chapters Ainz might get a little too antagonistic at the JSDF forces, and in proxy at the governments of Earth. Because he'll sooner trust the devil over them.

I'm quite knowledgeable when it comes to information about Overlord. But the same can't be said about gate, since I had to search a lot while writing this chapter. So, I might skip some things or make up new information just to make things easier for me.

If you wanted to read about the Japanese force exploring (more like exploiting) the lands of Falmart, or some misery filled storyline. Then this story isn't for you.

To me this is much closer to a wish fulfilment story. So if you're unsatisfied with the above things said, then stop reading this and look for another story that meets your tastes .

Sorry for the long rant. Just wanted to clear somethings out.

Now, without further ado.

Let's start the chapter.

Chapter 1: New World

(prologue)

Suzuki Satoru is a fairly average looking middle-aged salary man. With an average background, education and job.

Unless you include him being the guild master of Ainz Ooal Gown. Which is one of the most infamous guilds in YGGDRASIL known for their notoriety.

YGGDRASIL, a DMMO-RPG that consists of nine different worlds connected to each other. Which are based on the Norse mythology.

It provided its players to perform exclusive character modifications- that no other DMMO-RPG of its time allowed. It gave a sense of adventure to the ones playing. With amazing graphics and extensive lore on its side, the game soon became a hot take around the world.

Soon YGGDRASIL gathered a massive player base numbering over 50 million. People of all ages loved playing it.

As its popularity grew, so did it's infamy for making the game harder and harder as one progresses.

Yet… YGGDRASIL persisted to go on for twelve years. But alas, nothing lasts forever. As time went on, so did the number of players who abandoned the game. At some point the developers decided to jump the sinking ship and announced its shutdown.

In the boring life of working day in and day out, the only part which Suzuki Satoru truly enjoyed is his virtual life inside the DMMO-RPG called YGGDRASIL. For the last 12 years he had devoted himself in playing this game. He would even consider his time spent in the game more precious than his entire lifetime combined. It's a shame that all of this will end tonight.

He loved this game because, in the world of YGGDRASIL Suzuki Satoru the ordinary salary man didn't exist.

Here he was known as Momonga, an Undead magic caster of the highest class. An Overlord. A player who had earned his notorious reputation through Pking (Player killing) Pkers (Player Killers) in all nine worlds.

It wasn't surprising that he was one of the top three PVP players in the world, along with being the guild master of the infamous Ainz Ooal Gown.

The guild itself was notorious for being a guild full of heteromorphic players. Who role-played as evil heteromorphic characters targeting toxic players. And so were widely discriminated against by the larger majority.

The reason Ainz Ooal Gown was formed by its heteromorphic members, was to fight against this exact discrimination.

Throne Room of Nazarick:

Inside the great tomb of Nazarick, our skeletal overlord was sitting on the [Throne of Kings] pondering to himself. The magnificent crystalline throne reaching the sealing itself. It looked as if it was cut from one massive obsidian crystal.

The throne was a World Class Item, one of the two hundred strongest items existing in YGGDRASIL. It was given to them by the developers as a gift, for successfully raiding the great tomb of Nazarick on their first try.

To most the great tomb of Nazarick is only the notorious guild base of Ainz Ooal Gown. But to Momonga… it was home.

His deep violet divine class robes fluttered as he got up from the throne and sighed loudly, "So, no one really came". Normally the visage of this skeletal figure was quite frightening combined with his gear which screams "evil" .

But if anyone saw him at that moment. They could tell how sad the figure was just from its posture.

Today was the day that YGGDRASIL was going to shut down. So, he had decided to spend all his leisure enjoying this game for the last time.

He had sent all the other members E-mails last week, inorder to meet them one last time and play together. But everyone seemed to have the same response apologizing that they were busy and would be unable to attend. So in the end nobody showed up.

Momonga was disheartened as he looked at the flags of his guild members, placed at both sides of the massive throne room. 41 flags. 41 members.

He looked at the clock in his HUD, and saw that there were still three hours left before shutdown. Making up his mind he teleported away from the guild.

Unbeknownst to Momonga a single figure was looking at him emotionlessly as he left.

The guardian overseer Albedo, was still looking at the spot where the guild master of Ainz Ooal Gown was last standing.

She hadn't moved a single inch nor did her posture change. But… if someone looked really closely, they could see a single tear ran down her right eye.

After getting out of Nazarick, he made sure to visit all the nine worlds of YGGDRASIL one last time and relive past memories. In one of those visits he participated in an auction. Where he bought a World item in dirt cheap of 2 million gold coins.

Well considering there were only twelve people participating in the auction, he got it quite easily.

He looked at his finger, where previously the ring of Ainz Ooal Gown was and marveled. It was a heavily designed golden ring with six blue crystalline wings on both sides.

"The [Ring of Raphael] I can't believe I finally found it!", Momonga breathlessly said as it was one of the few world class items which wasn't a one-time use item.

During the hay day of YGGDRASIL, this was an item highly sought after by players who had negative karma.

The world class item [Ring of Raphael] had the ability to temporarily change a player's race into that of an arch-angel. With all the perks, skills and subclasses belonging to the raid boss Raphael.

But there was also a catch. While using the item, the player would not only get the strong build of raid boss Raphael but also its weakness.

Players who had the experience dealing with Raphael would know of the players weakness and limitations. And so could be easily be disposed of.

But still with all its cons and pros, this was still a world class item. So, it was heavily sought after.

From what he knew, the world item was last in the possession of Sefaroth. A guild composed of only angelic and holy races.

The guild was once one of the top twenty guilds in the world. But due to a surprise raid by an enemy guild destroying their guild weapon, they had been disbanded.

Momonga had roamed quite a lot in this short amount of time. It was nostalgic.

He was currently in a safe zone in one of the towns located in Helheim. As he looked at the clock just to find out there were still more than half an hour time left.

"Hmm… it would be a shame just to buy the [Ring of Raphael] and not use it before shutdown".

He ended his pondering and came to a decision. Soon, the telltale glow of an item activation began to envelope him, as golden runic symbols started spinning around him much like a super tier spell.

Not soon after another separate screen popped infront of him which made him groan. As the screen showed options of further character modifications. From facial appearance to character lore, everything was present.

This was one of the reason why this DMMO-RPG was so popular. To give the players their freedom to create their own characters however they want.

But for lack of a better word character modification was very… exhausting and time consuming. "Ugh… I don't have time for this. Lets just go with the facial scan."

In YGGDRASIL players had the option to use their facial characteristics by using a facial scan. It wasn't a option that was widely used due to privacy reasons.

The scan was done, and a digital structure of Suzuki Satoru started overlapping with the avatar of Raphael.

The golden glow faded as once where Momonga the guild master of Ainz Ooal Gown stood. Was now an exalted being with three pairs of pure white wings.

It was garbed in a golden armor overlaying a white cloak. A hood with glowing symbols covered the head.

Most of the characteristics of the being resembled that of the raid boss Raphael. Though the major difference was the facial appearance.

The six winged angel stood at the average hight of five feet four inches. With hair black as the night sky, which greatly contrasts with the pure white wings. But the most drastic change was of the face.

Instead of Raphaels face, the face of Suzuki Satoru was plastered. But where Suzuki Satoru the salary man looked pale and sickly. This Suzuki Satoru almost looked… majestic.

Momonga took out the mirror of remote viewing and started observing himself. Even though it was a magic item used for scrying. It can be used as an ordinary mirror if needed.

The first thing he saw was, eyes the color of molten gold staring back at him. Here he looked so much better, than he actually really was.

"Wait… don't I look too young? I could barely count as an adult if I actually looked like this."

It seems like the AI had de-aged his appearance from a thirty two year old to a seventeen ish year old. The stress lines and bags under his eyes seem to disappear.

Overall if you didn't include his now greatly exaggerated looks, it wasn't so bad. He could even say he looked quite handsome.

"Well… now that's done, let's see about finding a dungeon to see how it performs. I do remember its moveset quite nicely."

Since angels have the most advantage while fighting undead, he should look a dungeon infested by the undead.

"I do remember visiting a mid-tier undead lair a few miles to the north."

Without much fanfare he casted the [Gate] spell and arrived at the foot of a mountain. Not further away laid an entrance of a huge cave serving as the entrance.

It was called 'The crypt of Kalos'. A mid-tier dungeon infested with undead type monsters. If he remembered well enough, the lair was guarded by huge swarms of low tier undead belonging to level 15-40.

And at the end of the lair six level 65 mid-tier boss known as the guards of kalos was situated, guarding the treasure room.

"Lets finish this quickly before shutdown happens". He quickened his march towards the lair seeing less than twenty minutes were left.

As soon as he entered the dampy cave, every low level mob dashed at the position he was standing.

From further away skeletal archer shot arrows which helplessly fell against his physical defenses. His physical defense now was much higher than his original character. He could probably shrug off most level 50 physical attacks.

While his physical defenses has rosen higher, his magical defenses had lowered than it was previously.

Before spells below the sixth tier couldn't even touch him. But now spells above the fifth tier can pass through his magical defenses. Even though spells consisting of those tiers wouldn't do much damage against a level 100 arch-angel.

As the swarm of low level undead mobs came close enough, he casted [Maximize Magic: Holy Burst] the counter spell of [Negative Burst]. A burst of a sphere of holy energy spread around him, as all the low level mobs died in a blink.

After which he raised his hand and cast [Rain of Light] as spikes made of light took out the remaining stragglers.

He made his way through two large stone doors to the next monster infestation. He made sure not to get caught up in traps by casting [Disarm Traps].

Along the way more than a few wraiths and elder wraiths tried their luck sneaking upon him. But he located them with [Discern Enemy] and made short work of them by using [Holy Sphere].

Soon he came upon an opening guarded by three dozen death knights. And at the very end of the opening, standing before an ornate gate stood a level 50 death champion.

Making out a plan he summoned four mid-tier angels of the Second Spher using [Mid-tier summon: Dominion Authority]. And send them to hold of the horde of death knights.

Since the angels were level 45 each, they could easily occupy the death knights who were somewhere around level 30-35. While he dealt with the death champion.

As the angels fought the death knights killing some, he teleported where the Death champion stood. He made sure to teleport just outside the Death champions range as the undead monster stood dormant.

He summoned two [Valkyrie of Valhalla] the equivalent summon of [Death Cavalier] as both of them are speed type summons.

The [Valkyries of Valhalla] are summons armoured in head to toe in golden armor, not a patch of skin to be seen. They were mounted on winged pegasus, which were equally armoured.

Each of them were of level 40. Armed with a mace on one hand and a shield on another. He send them on opposite sides of the Death champion to flank it, while he dealt the finishing blow.

As the clash on both sides grew heated, he waited for the opportune moment to strike. As the combined strike from both Valkyries landed on the Death champion he made his move.

The Death Champion had staggered for a moment upon being hit. That was all he needed as he teleported behind the Death champion and dealt the finishing blow by casting [Holy Smite].

The Death champion got incinerated within mili-seconds as the seventh tier holy spell hit it's intended target.

Once done with the inconveniences he went back to see one of the Dominion Authority had fallen while holding off the Death Knights.

Giving the remaining angels orders to back off, he teleported right atop the Death Knights and casted [Triple Maximized magic: Nepalm].

And with that all the undead were taken out. At the same time the large doors the Death champion was guarding opened up.

"It took much more time than I figured it would. At this rate I wouldn't be able to finish this raid before shutdown." As there was less than five minutes remaining till midnight.

Hastily he made his way through the now opened doors, while his summons followed him from the back.

Halfway through the door he created a [Light Sword] and sliced the magic bolt aimed at the back of his head.

"It was a good shot, but I don't intend to fall for the same trick twice". As he teleported at the corner of a ceiling where the Death Assassin was hanging from.

Before the undead monster could change location, Momonga casted [Maximize Magic: Reality Slash] killing it instantly.

[23:56:53]

"I don't think I can solo this raid when only three minutes are remaining".

With that heavy thought he opened the final doors and was greeted by the six raid-bosses guarding the treasure room in a line.

Among the six raid-bosses there was a Dullahan, an Elder Wraith, a greater vampire, an undead hydra, a ghoul and lastly an Elder Litch.

All of them had a role to perform. As they fought less like mindless monsters, and much like a well coordinated party.

Even though the dungeon is ranked low mid-tier considering all the monsters individual levels. Once all of them fight as a party in a coordinated way, it cannot be ranked lower than a low high-tier dungeon needing a party of at least three to clear it out perfectly.

Most of the newby players makes this mistake and rush in alone, which is the reason for their demise as they enter the boss room.

Upon entering, he first observed the room noting the position of all the enemies as he remembers. But… something was different?

"Was the entrance to the treasure room always this ornate? or has it been updated recently?", he thought to himself.

From what he remembers the doors of the treasure room were not that decorated.

But now it seems like, an ornate gate reaching the ceiling had been placed before the treasure room.

The entire gate was made out of stone. As from both sides of the gate, great pillars decorated with sapphire like crystals held up the entire structure. Atop the whole structure a large crystal was placed, a faint glow emanating from it.

[23:57:32]

Seeing that there wasn't time to ponder uselessly he made his move. First he summoned another two high tier level 70 angels using [Summon high-tier angel: Seraphim].

Unlike the other summons these were one of the few high-tier summons, which he could call upon without giving away exp.

The only problem was there were a limited number of them which he could summon per day.

First he sent two of the Valkyries to deal with the Dullahan. The Valkyries wouldn't be able to kill the Dullahan, but they should be able to hold it off untill he dealt with the rest.

Next he sent the remaining three Dominion Authority to hold off the undead Hydra. Keeping the tank of the enemy busy. Leaving the rest of the monsters to deal with the two Seraphim's.

All his summons engaged the enemy as he ordered, and was making a headfirst way to victory.

The Elder Litch was about to teleport his entire party, that was about to get hit by an AOE spell from one of the Seraphim.

"Oh no you don't [Dimensional Lock]". He used a skill that can only be used by the highest-ranking devils or angels, rendering teleportation and transfer magic unusable.

*Crack*

"Did I just hear something cracking? Whatever… lets focus on the current task". Unbeknownst to him, upon using the [Dimension Lock] skill hairline cracks started appearing over the entire gate-like structure. And from the cracks a weird light seems to spread.

"Got you now! [Triple Maximize Magic: Obliviate]". As the Elder Litch, Ghoul and the Vampire were cornered into one place, he casted the tenth tier holy spell dealing massive damage.

Soon enough, they were taken care of by the combined strike from his angels. "Three down, three to go".

"ROOARRGGHHhh!"

Looking back at the undead Hydra, it just took out the last of the three Dominion Authority's. As the three headed monster dashed at him, he teleported away and engaged it from the back.

[23:58:32]

"Shit…"

The Hydra thrashed around trying to shake off the arch-angel on its back.

"I should've just used a super tier spell, even though it would have been overkill".

[23:59:53]

[23:59:54]

[23:59:55]

"Well can't say it wasn't fun. So long… YGGDRASIL."

[23:59:58]

As the gate-like structure was about to crumble, the cracks kept spreading through even in the air.

[23:59:59]

*Shatter*

Just before the timer ran out, something else happened. The space around him cracked like glass, as both he and the Hydra fell through it.

"What the…!"

[00:00:00]

One month before the battle of Ginza:

Humans have always chosen violence over peace, no matter the time, place or even worlds.

The land of Falmart was no better. A land blessed by gods. And at the same time cursed, to be strifed with centuries of conflict and battle for supremacy.

From the ashes of the defeated, kingdoms rise with their own people, culture, and identity. With each generation a newer conflict arises, as countries fall and rise.

Blood begets more blood. As the endless chain of bloodshed goes on to destroy an entire civilization.

Throughout the centuries, endless wars have been waged on this land to take control of it. Until at last one side emerged victorious.

Today the Empire rules over the continent with an iron fist. Subjugating their neighboring countries and forcing them to become vassals. Such as the Alguna Kingdom, League Principality and Elbe Fiefdom.

They had pillaged throughout the land for power. From burning whole villages to killing off entire races, the Empire had done every heinous deed possible.

And it seems the flames of conflicts are about to spark once again. As not long ago a mysterious gate had appeared at the plains near Alnus mountain.

The sorcerers of the kingdom theorize that it might be connected to another free land, out of the Empire's reach through normal means. The gate was currently in a dormant state.

But the sorcerers say that with a big enough ritual it could be activated.

The Empire had always been greedy for conquest of new lands. And so this was an opportunity served on a silver platter.

By creating an alliance with the vassal countries, the Empire had taken all the advantages without lifting a finger.

For the conquest, the vassal countries each had to give twenty thousand soldiers. While the Empire only gave ten thousand imperial soldiers, even though they had the largest military on the continent.

As an excuse the empire had said that they couldn't send more imperial soldiers, because of the conflict going on with the Warrior Bunnies.

Where they had sent ten thousand imperial soldiers under the command of crown prince Zorzal El Caesar, to subjugate the tribe of warrior bunnies numbering over three thousand.

Which is an excessive number of imperial soldiers, even if each warrior bunny is twice as strong as an imperial soldier.

Somewhere in northwestern plains of the continent of Falmart:

Zorzal El Caesar, the crown prince of the Empire was in a very good mood.

For he was entrusted with ten thousand imperial soldiers by the Emperor himself, for the glorious purpose of subjugating the Warrior Bunny tribe.

To him the warrior bunnies are nothing but mindless beasts, tarnishing what the empire represents.

He believes that once he exterminates these pests, he would bring glory to both him and the empire.

'Who else but me the next emperor would be great enough to lead such an army', he thought to himself with a smirk.

He was currently in the rear of the marching army sitting in his high throne, all the while sipping wine from a golden chalice.

From the front of the marching army, a soldier garbed in imperial armor came and kneeled before the crown prince.

"Did you do as I said?", Zorzal asked while taking another sip of his wine.

"Yes your highness, as you ordered we told the Warrior Bunnies to either surrender before the might of the great empire. Or be trampled by us."

Looking at the downed head of the soldier he asked again, "And what of the letter?"

"We identified their leader and delivered the letter safely"

"Exelent! Go get the general for me. ", Zorzal said now looking much more enthusiastic.

Besides the calling for the warrior bunnies surrender, he also sent a personal letter to the queen of the warrior bunnies.

In the letter he offered the queen of the warrior bunnies a deal. The deal was, if she surrendered herself to him, he would graciously let her tribe leave.

While for most, letting them leave would mean he would let the bunny go freely. He had other plans.

"The empire could always use more slaves," he said to himself while showing a devious smile. He couldn't wait to get his hands on the queen.

As he was thinking of the methods to train his soon to be slave queen, the general of the imperial army came and kneeled before him.

"Did you call for me, your highness?", the general asked looking at him.

"Yes, how are the preparations going? will there be any inconveniences during my conquest?". Zorzal asked, as disinterestedness oozed from his voice.

"All the preparations are complete. We will strike as soon as you order".

"And what of the other side? Any news?".

"None yet my lord. It seems they are currently divided into two groups. One which wants to battle against us. And the other group, who are currently guarding their camp", the general spoke his thoughts.

"What about their numbers?", he asked thinking of the number of slaves they could bring back to the capital.

"Currently their fighting force numbers over two thousand. But if you want to know their total numbers, then that would be somewhere around 3 to 4 thousand".

Zorzal hummed loudly and acted as if he was thinking deeply. "Order the army to attack. We have waited for long enough. It's time to show them the might of the future emperor".

"As you wish, your highness", the general said as he went back to his post.

Soon enough the long awaited moment came, as both sides started marching at each other.

One side numbering a thousand, and the other numbering ten thousand. It was truly a one sided battle.

But the moment both sides clashed, something else happened.

*Crack*

The sky itself started cracking. All the soldiers be it the warrior bunnies or the imperial soldiers, stood still for a second bewildered.

As the cracks grew more and more, something really big started falling from the now opened cracks.

"What the hell is that?!", Zorzal asked not knowing what it was he was looking at.

The thing in question was roughly around one fourth of a yard (25 meters) long. From afar it looked much like a dragon, but it had three heads instead of one. Which were glowing in a purple hue.

It had leathery wings, exactly like that of a dragon. Behind it, a tail with spiked bones swayed. But above all the most disgusting thing was its rotten flesh, as pulsing lines of purple ran through its entire body.

"ROOARGGHhh!".

Before they knew it the thing fell right in the middle where the two forces were fighting, killing dozens of soldiers belonging to each side instantly.

The behemoths landing made a large enough wind pressure to throw off most of the frontline fighters.

Everyone within ten yards (a thousand meters) were scared enough that they couldn't even move an inch. Untill…

"ROOARRGHhh!", with another thunderous roar the monsters started to spew black flames all around. As it took lives left and right, not caring who it kills.

Many tried fighting it, but only failed and lost their lives by getting crushed.

Nothing seems to harm it, even the combined effort of the warrior bunnies and imperial soldiers were for not, only resulting in more deaths.

"Run!", no one knew who shouted first. But as friends and foe fell all the same, no one cared.

The monster was tearing through everyone as blood and gore spattered the ground. It didn't matter if you were an imperial soldier or a warrior bunny. The only thing that mattered was death.

Within moments half of the imperial soldiers had been decimated. Where most if not all of the warrior bunnies had either been annihilated, or crushed into mincemeat.

"Retreat! It's not something we can win against",the general of the imperial army shouted. He was galloping his horse as fast as he could to run away from this monstrosity.

The death toll was just too many. As some soldiers started to lose their minds from this madness.

Everyone knew that staying still would be a death sentence, as they ran like they never had before. While fleeing they didn't care who they trampled over.

One of the soldiers fell to his knees, as he had lost the will to live. The soldier stared at the bloody spot where his brother stood a while ago. He looked at the sky and asked, "Ohh, Emroy have you abandoned us…?"

Wanting revenge for the deaths of their loved ones, a few remaining bunny warriors jumped at the behemoth their weapon pointed at it. No sooner than their weapons met the monsters skin, they broke apart like wooden sticks.

Before the futility of their attempt could sink in, a mighty tail strike from the Hydra turned them into bloody mist.

It was an absolute carnage. Where did this abomination of nature come from? What did they do to anger the gods so much, that they would have sent this hellish creature.

Before the soldiers could escape, the undead monster flew at them flapping its massive wings. Once it was on top of them, it started spewing out dark miasma from all three mouths.

The dark smoke covered most of them instantly, creating a dome of darkness around the area.

As soon as the soldiers inhaled the contaminated air, they started falling like flies. They got poisoned to such an extent, that even the blood that was leaking out of their bodies were coloured black.

"Your highness! you must leave! We cannot stay here any longer", one of the soldiers who was placed in the rear hefted the prince to move. Who was scared to such an extent, that he had soiled himself.

Zorzal's entire world had just been shaken. The trauma he got from coming so close to death was enough to render him immobile.

Not soon after the crown prince fainted, the soldier picked up his prince and ran for the woods as fast as he could.

Seeing that everyone was either dead or had fled. The Hydra set its eyes at the camp on the other side, from where it could sence the living.

The warrior bunnies had started fleeing from sheer terror, from the moment the carnage started.

Even though half of their numbers were killed by the unknown monster, they fled understanding how futile resistance would be against such a monstrosity.

But it seems they weren't fast enough to escape, since the behemoth was flying at them at an unbelievable speed.

Before they could enter the forest, the undead hydra landed ahead of them cutting off their exit. It stared them down like a predator about to pounce.

Most of the warrior bunnies had lost all hope of escaping, and waited for death to come. Their queen crumbled to the ground, as tears fell from her now closed eyes. She could only pray to the gods above, to bestow a painless death to her people.

Everything was moving at a slower pace, as the monster spewed out hellish black flames from all three mouths.

Before the flames were about to burn them to a crisp, a winged figure garbed in gold and white materialized before them.

Like a savior he spread his arms out and intoned in a melodical voice, "[Sanctuary Barrier!]"

No sooner had the words been said, a golden dome covering everyone present was created. The hellish flames crashed straight at the dome, yet the barrier stood strong separating them from the grasp of death.

*Cough*

"Ahem, are you guys alright?"

The shock of being saved from the brink of death was just too much, for them to give an answer to their savior.

Suzuki Satoru P.O.V :

One moment he was in a dungeon fighting monsters. The next thing he knew he was falling through, as the land under his feet vanished.

Things just got weirder from that point, as he started falling from the sky. Helpfully, because of his passive [Fly] skill he didn't take any fall damage.

"Hmm… where's my HUD? and weren't they supposed to shut the server down at midnight? I clearly remember that the timer had ended".

He was really confused about what was going on. Floating in the empty sky, he looked around just to find forest and greenery all around as mountains spanned over the horizon.

"Is this some new game or did YGGDRASIL have an extension? Hello… GM? Anyone", the only answer he received was the cold breeze caressing his face.

"Wait…! Wind? how am I feeling it through my skin?". The government had banned the use of sensation by VR, since it was both addictive and harmful to the human body.

"Now that I notice it, the scenery is just too vivid for it to be generated by pixels. Where the hell in the nine worlds am I?"

Before his thoughts could spiral once again, the sky cracked like glass as the Hydra he was fighting fell through it.

With its enormous size the undead monster fell much faster, creating a sonic boom upon landing on… people?

Because he was so high up in the air, he didn't realize that there were people below him. And it seems the three headed monster had just landed right before the swarm of people.

From where he was floating, those people looked nothing more than tiny pinpricks. It looked as if ants were swarming around. Are they having a festival or something?

"I can't see properly what's happening down there", as he was roughly 800 meters above the ground. "Wasn't there a spell that gave players the ability to look into long distances? umm-!".

Not soon after he had that thought, information about all his spells and skills started popping in his head. About how the spells are conducted, their cooldown even how much MP it would cost to perform each spell.

With that new knowledge he casted the spell, "[Complete Vision]". Which greatly enhanced his vision to see further.

The first thing he saw was, a person wearing romanesque armor getting torn apart by the hydra in a very gruesome way. As blood and entrails of the man scattered everywhere.

YGGDRASIL had a no blood policy, as blood and gore were always censored in the game. It was impossible to think this was YGGDRASIL, since they would never let such a thing happen.

Then the only possible theory remained that he wasn't in YGGDRASIL anymore.

As Murphy's law says, Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth. Or was it Layman's?

"Did I just get Isekai'ed to another world?". The question was how did he arrive in this world? and more importantly why?

What was more surprising, that he kept watching the carnage go on and not feel anything. The real Suzuki Satoru would have fainted at the mere sight of this gruesome display.

Within minutes the undead monster had massacred almost all the soldiers present. And was flying at another camp, which was further away.

"What should I do? Do I intervene or not?", he was considering his options as the hydra had reached the other camp.

"Whatever. I need information, and they are the only ones in the vicinity where I can get it from. So letting them die would just be a waste. And the hydra was my mess to begin with, it'll only be reasonable for me to deal with it".

With those thoughts he teleported right before the massive group. Noticing an incoming attack he activated his wide-area barrier skill, encompassing everyone inside.

The flames clashed against the new obstacle but helplessly died down, as the barrier stood strong. Nodding to himself, he turned behind to address the crowd. But… before he could, he realized something very important.

They weren't humans, they were… bunny girls? 'What in the nine worlds is this', were his thoughts. Before memories of Peroroncino's fetishes about bunny girls came to his minds forefront.

'Focus Momonga! FOCUS! Don't get swayed by temptation'. Coughing he cleared his head of impure thoughts and asked,"Ahem, are you guys alright?"

*Silence*

No one said anything. All they did was stare at him with awed expressions. The prolonged silence was broken by the roaring hydra, as it charged at them.

"ROOARRGHH!".

But momonga had expected that and casted [Divine Chains], as chains made out of light grounded the beast to a stop.

"Umu… I'll deal with that first. Please remain inside the barrier, where you'll be safe." As he was about to leave, someone spoke up.

"T-thank you, for s-saving my people. The warrior bunnies w-will forever be greateful to you. B-but… may we know the name of our savior?".

The one who spoke up was a woman with long waist-length silver hair and bright red eyes. Who was currently kneeling before him keeping her head on the ground. As her people followed her to do the same.

Her most notable features were her white fluffy bunny ears. He really wanted to touch those ears to find out, if they were as fluffy as they looked.

'Control! Don't give into temptation!', with strengthen resolve he started to walk once again, but soon stopped and looked back.

"You may call me… Ainz Ooal Gown ", with that he disappeared just to reappear before the monster.

"This has been long overdue, let's make this quick [Life essence]", as the undead thrashed around recklessly trying to reach him.

"Hmm? there's still 80% of your HP left. Well let's make some distance, so the others don't get caught up in the crossfire. [Maximize Magic: Force Explosion]". As an invisible shockwave struck the hydra.

The force was strong enough that the undead monster was flung back at the forest, as it crashed through several trees.

Not giving it any time to recover, he casted [Fire storm] a divine AOE spell dealing massive fire damage. The surrounding shrubbery caught into fire, as a blazing inferno was created.

The hydra had shot [Necro Blast] from all three mouths aiming at him. But he easily dodged the first two shots, and created a barrier to use as a shield for the third one.

Before the hydra could use this opportunity to flee, four huge spikes made out of light impaled the monster and pinned it to the ground.

Flying high over the hydra was Momonga, watching its futile attempt to move.

"This is as far as you'll go. Now disappear [Maximize Magic: Seven Trumpeter]". As a piller of radiant energy crashed into the undead monster, killing it. The tenth tier divine spell was strong enough to one-shot it.

As the dust cloud disappeared, only a crater could be seen where the hydra once was.

There were still a lot of trees burning. Which could eventually create a massive forest fire, killing the wildlife. Not wanting that to happen, he casted [Control Weather] as raindrops began to fall from the sky dying out the flames.

"Now to figure out where exactly I am", as he teleported back where he left the crowd.

Upon returning he found that the warrior bunnies were still at the same position he left them.

As he appeared, they seemed to prostrate even more. He tried to elevate the tension by talking.

"Please raise your heads. There's no reason for you to grovel over. I'm just here to ask a few questions, so please rise".

Hesitantly they got upon their feet. Looking at the bunny girl who had spoken up before he asked, "Is there a place that we can use to converse".

"Y-yes, our village is just ahead. B-but would it be possible for us to wait for a while, as we collect our dead? ", the woman pleaded bowing her head deeply.

"Of course, don't mind me. Take all the time you need to sort things out".

Soon all of them went off to find whatever was left of their loved ones, so they could give them a proper burial.

-An hour later:

It was a somber sight to see some of them weep, while clinging to dismembered bodies. And the saddest part was most of them couldn't even find a body to bury.

As he was silently observing this, a bunny girl no older than twelve approached him. She had ginger coloured hair, with eyes the color of emerald… which looked dead.

But the thing that caught his attention was the half crushed body she was dragging beside her. The dead body was that of a female, who also had ginger coloured hair.

"M-mister? My mommy's not talking back to me. C-can you please fix her? I'll do anything you ask. So please fix my mommy."

The girl clutched her mother's body tight to her chest, as the tears flowed like a river through the eyes that had no life in them.

His heart ached as a distant memory of a boy hugging his mother's cold dead body flashed through his mind.

At that moment the silver haired bunny girl came, as she kneeled while pushing the little girl's head to do the same.

"Please do not mind the child's words. She's still too young to know how to act properly. Please forgive her if she said something rude".

For a long minute he didn't speak, as the image of the weeping boy kept overlapping with the ginger haired girl.

Taking a deep breath, he made up his mind and looked at the still kneeling silver haired girl. "Please go and gather all your dead in one place".

The silver haired queen was unsure of what their savior wanted to do. But eventually she nodded and went to inform her people.

He kneeled on the ground coming to the same height as the girl. A hand was placed on her head as he started patting her head. "What's your name?"

"R-risa". The girl, who now was known as Risa choked on her tears. She couldn't believe that this divine being was comforting her.

"Listen Risa, your mother will get better before you know it, I promise. So don't cry, ok?"

Even though the tears weren't stopping, she still tried wiping them out while nodding her head.

Ainz got up, while picking up the body of the deceased woman. Not far away more than a couple hundred bodies were laid down together.

He was about to take a very reckless action. It might give away his abilities. Or even create problems for him in the future. In hindsight he shouldn't do anything.

But… if he backed out now, he will never be able to face himself. 'Helping someone in need is never wrong, isn't that right touch-me', he thought to himself as he laid the woman with all the other bodies.

"Everyone please get back and make some space". Everyone did as he asked. They were breathlessly waiting to see, what this immensely powerful being would do.

"There's no turning back now. Let's just hope this doesn't come to bite me in the back, [Salvation!]".

[Salvation] a spell that could be used once per week. Only angels of the highest order could cast this spell. Upon casting, anyone within a hundred meter radius would get revived without losing any levels.

The only downside to this spell was that within that radius, may it be a friend or a foe all will be revived.

As the name of the spell was invoked, a magic circle spanning over a hundred meters was created. From the circle a golden glow emanated, as the damaged bodies of the dead were being restored.

The circle seem to grow more brighter as each second passed. But… then it happened.

For the first time in the history of Falmart, both gods and mortals have witnessed a miracle happen.

For an Angel has descended to the land of Falmart.

Author's Note: And I'm done! Damn, this is the largest chapter I've written in the shortest amount of time. Praise my glorious power!

Jokes aside, it was really hard finishing this chapter. There's still somethings to tweak out, but for the most part it's done.

I persisted till the end to finish this. Let's just hope you guys enjoyed it too.

Please give a review after reading, because this took a lot of work to write.

See you next time.
