Yup! Time to buy a plot of land to start your shop on! Usually, you'd need to do some quests first to unlock better locations and gain coins, but, well, you could build your shop anywhere here and not know the difference.
Naruto glanced around again and could see where the screen was coming from. Who cares about property value when you're setting up shop in a black abyss?

As he moved closer to the object he could make it out—a large mansion, looking almost like a temple, made of polished quartz and shining gold. Huge pillars extended up as high as he could see, and the building extended out for miles.
"Is this… my shop?" Naruto asked, slightly in awe at the towering structure. A screen appeared to his right again.
Correct! Welcome to your new shop, Naruto Uzumaki!
"It's huge," Naruto said, staring up as the building consumed the entirety of his vision.
Usually, The Gamer would have to work their way to a building this big, but since you're a hero, you get to start with it! Think of it as a welcome gift!
Naruto grinned, it seemed all his hard work was paying off even in the afterlife.
Abruptly, a giant red blur flashed across his vision, and suddenly the huge building was a pile of rocks. It was so fast he couldn't even tell what happened.
"…was that supposed to happen?" Naruto asked, staring at the remains of the once giant temple.
That was Great Red, the dragon god who lives in the west quadrant of the dimensional gap. He's the reason this was a free starting spot.
Shit. He knew it was too good to be true. There's always a catch, except when it comes to free ramen. Ramen chefs could be trusted.
Naruto stood there for a moment, waiting for something to happen, before asking, "So, what now? This pile of rocks probably won't get many customers. How am I even supposed to get customers living in a black void that's trying to kill me?"

It was a decently tall wooden building, the top standing at around 15 feet tall. There was a singular wooden door in the front, and Naruto couldn't see any windows anywhere. He walked through the door, and looked around the inside.
There was a long bar in the middle, with around 8 stools placed next to each other on the outside. The inside had a variety of selves behind it, each filled with bottles. A couple of tables were furnishing the open space in front of the bar. Naruto walked further in, stepping around the inside of the bar.
There was a door behind the counter, which led to a small bedroom. The rest of the large main room with the bar in it was lined with doors. He tried each of them, but could only open one, which led to a bathroom. Every other door wouldn't open, with a [Locked] screen appearing on it.
Naruto sighed and took a seat on the only chair behind the bar, looking straight at the wall across from him. He sat there in silence for a moment, and then spoke into the air, "So… what now?"
Naruto jumped slightly as he heard a loud bang behind him, and went to where he heard the sound. In the small bedroom was now a large flat-screen TV, and a stack of DVDs in front of it. He glanced at the cover, and saw a rather average-looking guy surrounded by a bunch of beautiful women.

Naruto sighed and walked over to the bedroom, spending far longer than he'd like to admit figuring out how to put the disc into the TV, and then started watching the series. He multitasked and explored the game system as he did, looking through the various different screens that appeared as he clicked certain stats, but couldn't get the seemingly sentient screen to appear again.
And so, 48 hours came and went, with Naruto spending most of it watching the series and sleeping, until he finally woke up to the sentient screen's return.
