Danny groans as he opens his eyes. He tried to move but everything hurt. His version was blurry and blinked a few times. At first, he saw something that looked like a monstrous fly before blinking again. His version starts to clear up when he notices a young woman, standing over him, smiling.
"Rise and shine, sleepyhead." She said.
"Augh." Danny groans, unable to move.
"Easy. Those bandages need to stay on." She said, holding him down.
Danny tried to look and saw his right arm were both in a cast and a sling. His left hand was covered in bandages and his chest was covered with the same thing. The young woman took a rag and placed it on his forehead, feeling a cold feeling from it.
"What happened?" He asked.
"I was hoping you could tell me. You appeared out of nowhere looking all injured. I thought you were dead until I heard your heartbeat." She said, readying another rag.
"Where am I?" Danny asked, feeling her wiping his other arm.
"My home. You crash in my yard. You're lucky to not have any broken bones. Though, I decided not to take any chances." She said, looking at him.
"And who are you?" Danny asked again.
The young woman smiles before standing up. Danny saw she wore a red suit with jewelry that was shaped like a fly.
"I'm the Great Fly, The Sovereign of Pestilence, The Warden of Decay, The Queen Crimson, The Mistress of the Flies. I'm Beelzebub!" She said, sounding high and mighty.
"But you can call me Beel." She said, bowing.
Beelzebub? Danny could have sworn he heard that name before. But he couldn't think of where due to his body was still hurting.
"And you are?" She asked, making him look at her.
"Daniel Fenton. But everyone calls me Danny." He said, trying not to groan.
"Danny, huh? Nice to meet you." Beelzebub said, sitting down.
"What brings a human to the Ghost Zone?" She asked.
"Well...wait! I'm in the Ghost Zone?!" Danny started before catching what she just said.
"Yes. I was banished from my home after a failed coup against someone I dislike. She meant to send me to a place known as the Void, but I got sent here instead." Beelzebub said.
Danny blinks, trying his hardest not to freak out. Thanks to his body being in pain, freaking out was very hard to do.
"I remember my parents showing off a portal that would connect our world with the Ghost Zone and it failed. I later told my friends about it and they wanted to see it. The last thing I remember was my friend Sam convincing me to enter the portal and I somehow turned it on. I felt a huge pain across my body before I blacked out." Danny said, trying to remember as much as he could.
Beelzebub hmms to herself, thinking over what happened.
"It seems to me that you must have hit the on button that was inside the portal. No doubt one of your parents must have forgotten about it." She said, thinking.
She then moves close to Danny's face, looking into his eyes. She could tell something was there but it was locked away. She backed away, thinking to herself again.
"Beel?" Danny asked, confused.
"It's nothing." She said, thinking he should heal first.
"How long was I out?" Danny asked, groaning.
"If I had to guess, about three to four days," Beelzebub said.
"Three to four days?" Danny asked, trying to get up.
"Easy. You need to heal." She said, stopping him.
"My parents, my friends..." Danny tried to say.
"Rest and Recover. I help you find a way back once you're healed." Beelzebub said.
Danny groans and remains on the bed. He wasn't sure what was going on but he was starting to get tired. He felt Beelzebub change his wet rag before she smiled at him.
"Until you do, let me take care of you." She said.
Danny nodded before passing out. Beelzebub smile faded a bit as she shook her head.
"I'm sorry for lying, but I never found a way to leave this place. I'm afraid you're stuck here." She said, feeling a bit sad for him.
But at the same time, she finally has some company. And she couldn't deny this boy looked handsome too. Maybe this would be more fun than she thought.
Danny awoke a few hours later, hearing his stomach growl. He was still sore before seeing Beelzebub walking in a bowl of soup.
"I had a feeling that you were going to be hungry when you got up." She said, sitting down.
Danny nodded, feeling too sore to move his body. Beelzebub scoops a spoonful of soup and helps him eat it.
"Ack! What is that?" Danny asked, coughing.
"Fly in my soup. Named after the phrase "There's a fly in my soup!" And don't worry, there's no actual fly in the soup." Beelzebub said.
"It still tasted bad." He said.
"Well, I mix tomato and chicken noodles together. Thought it would be tasty." She said, shocking him.
"Beel, you could have just made the chicken soup without the tomato," Danny said, trying not to feel any worse than he was.
She looks at him before shrugging. She kept feeding him. Danny tried not to throw up when he finished it. Once she was done, she changed Danny's bandages. Danny was surprised to see that his right arm was black from being burnt. His left hand looked like it was almost burned off. It was mostly red and it hurt really bad. Beelzebub quickly washed them and recovered them.
"You're lucky. When I found you, your arm and hand were on fire. You're lucky that you didn't lose any skin." She said before removing the bandages from his chest.
Danny could see that he had a huge mark across his chest. Surprisingly, it looked as if the mark was glowing.
"This one appeared when I took off your shirt. I have no idea what this means." Beelzebub said, looking at it.
Danny remained still as Beelzebub recovered it. She looks up and smiles.
"I'm trying to see if I can find a way to help to get home. But for now, I want to make sure you recover first." She told him, leading close to him.
Danny couldn't help but blush at the sight of her face being so close to her.
"So, can you tell me about yourself?" She asked.
"About...myself?" Danny asked, shocked.
No girl even asked him that. However, since he was stuck in this bed, he decided to tell her about himself. He told her about about her parents, his sisters, and his friends. After that, he told her about himself. His hobbies, his dreams, and a bit about his school. Beelzebub listened, finally herself more and more interested in him.
'Poor child, his life is bad because his family failed to understand that they are not acknowledge his needs and his friends don't fully understand him like they think they do. And his sister is trying to grow up too fast. It's so sad to see him like this.' She thought.
Danny sighs as he lay on the bed. He told Beelzebub everything he knew about himself, his family, and friends. However, he still couldn't place where he heard Beel's name. But he did start to feel comfortable with her. He yawns again, feeling tired again.
"Get some more rest. I'll check on you later." Beelzebub said, seeing him yawn.
Danny nods before closing his eyes. Beelzebub covers him and smiles again.
"I really want to keep you here now. Maybe teach you to be a much better person." She said, thinking.
Beelzebub knew that he did have to return to his family, but with how everyone in his life treated him like he was not important, she thought she could treat him better. Maybe she could do that after he heals.
"Welcome to your new home, Danny Fenton." She said, smirking.
And I bring you DannyXBeelzebub's story. I would like to once again thank Jack Firerage from My Three Girls for the idea of Beelzebub getting imprisoned in the Ghost Zone instead of The Void. However, the idea of Danny being sent to the Ghost Zone instead of getting his powers was all my idea. So Danny and Beelzebub met and they got to know each other. The next couple of chapters will have Danny live with Beelzebub before he returns home. And yes, everyone will think he's dead until he goes back. And the title is supposed to play off my idea that Lucifer and Beelzebub are rivals. But Lucifer won't be in this story.
