Big Mom was not a perfect woman. Some people prefer to hide behind their own lies, but Linlin knew that she was far from being the best mother either. The cascading pink-haired pirate could be one of the most beautiful women on the seas. And like everyone else, she too had her own problems. It was hard to fight it. Or at least it would be, if she didn't have such a loving husband.

Candy Rain

Chapter 1

"I love the way you smile, Charlotte Linlin!"

"I don't know…

How about we explore the world together then? I promise it will be a lot of fun, dattebayo! By the way, I already planned everything for my pink haired pirate goddess!

It's not that easy, Naruto! You can't just go around saying-

Why not if I love you so much? And I'm not taking that excuse about you're in the Rocks Pirates again.

But… you… I sometimes have food cravings and I can't control it. It doesn't matter what I do! I just can't stop!

… Everything is fine now. If anything happens, I'll be right by your side. I won't leave you, Linlin-chan, not even for a second. And do you know why? Every time I see you sad it's like a piece of my soul is being ripped out of me.

I hate you, Naruto. What a pointless joke. Mamamama~!

… but you smiled, dattebayo!"

~?

"My love, do you ever dream of

Candy coated raindrops?

You're the same, my candy rain"

Charlotte Linlin looked into the mirror calmly, her orange eyes glowing in the warm light in the castle room. She reached up with one hand to find the very silky strands of pink hair that cascaded perfectly down the impossibly tall woman's back, but without losing a drop of beauty – her other hand busy with an orange comb.

"Maybe I should cut it?" – the pirate sulked uncertainly in a low voice, still staring at herself in the large mirror. Linlin was thinking very negatively these days, and it wasn't like it was something she herself could control on her own. Sometimes her thoughts would take a turn and just go until there was nothing left.

She shook her head to clear the negative thoughts and forced a faint smile across her red-painted lips, determined to get on with what she'd wanted to do in the first place. Then the pirate - who was once part of the terrible Rocks Pirates - began to slowly comb the pink strands with one hand, while using the other to control the movement.

The pink dress with red polka dots that Linlin wore that day was firmly attached to the well-endowed woman's voluptuous body, not obstructing the way she gently moved to comb her long hair. A stubborn lock insisting on staying next to her pretty freckled face.

If there were any observers around, they would say she was incredibly stunning.

A real cotton candy and wonderful pink beauty.

"Don't cut your hair, Mommy! You know Daddy isn't going to like that at all."

Linlin had closed her eyes at some point, so she was slightly taken aback when she heard a voice that she hadn't expected so soon. A voice she quickly recognized.

A wide, warm smile spread across Charlotte's beautiful face, very different from the first one she'd given herself in the mirror. That smile was now so bright. Filled with positive vibes and a loving mom feeling.

"Mamamama! What do you think you're doing, Brûlée-chan?" – the mother asked amusedly, still with her eyes closed and continuing to comb her hair. She heard an adorable gasp on the other end and stifled another giggle at her daughter's shyness. – "Brûlée-chan?"

"Sorry, mama! But Daddy gave me a super important mission! He asked me to supervise you while he was away." - replied softly the girl who was hiding in the world of mirrors.

Hearing the end of it Linlin stopped combing her hair for a moment, opening her eyes to face the mirror that started to show her little daughter's features. So tiny, but so smart.

Daddy, huh.

The rosette nodded in response with her hair styled following the woman's smooth movement, so she decided to have some more fun. A playful smile rested on her kissable lips. – "So… just so I'm safe, my beautiful little girl is spying on me? What did I do to deserve so much love?"

"Ma-mama! But I'm not so little anymore! Big brother Katakuri said I'm getting taller!" - shyly shouted the little girl on the other side of the mirror, arms crossed and pouting.

"Mamamama! You will always be one of my favorite pieces of candy, Brûlée-chan." – Linlin said happily to her daughter who was getting red in her cheeks and trying to look away from her mother. Seeing this, the pirate's perfect smile grew a little wider.

So after a few minutes of teasing, they started talking. Mother and daughter. Blood of the same blood. Unconditional love.

The negative feelings that had tried futilely to dominate the woman's strong spirit before were now being punctually dissipated, as the minutes passed and the mother-daughter duo told each other how each of them was enjoying the day separately.

The smiles and giggles, eyes twinkling were like a perfect painting drawn by Whole Cake Sweet Heaven.

The pirate's heart was pounding in her chest, then it sped up to an unbelievable pace when she saw her daughter suddenly stop talking, pointing anxiously at something behind her. Linlin gave her daughter a half-uncomprehending smile, but she understood and associated her enthusiasm with her daughter's young age.

And since she didn't feel like changing the position of the chair, because while they were talking, mother and daughter took the opportunity to find a comfortable place, before moving on with the conversation. So in response to her daughter's silent request, the pirate just prepared to activate Kenbunshoku Haki.

"No need for that, Linlin-chan, dattebayo!"

Came a loud, cheerful voice from behind where she sat, and Linlin recognized it even before two strong arms gently grabbed her around the waist and turned her around so that she was facing two sapphire pearls for eyes. A grin spread across the culprit's whiskered face as she found herself being lovingly lifted aloft in a full twirl in a stunning mix of pink, blond and orange.

"PAPA!!!"

Charlotte Linlin's sinking heart seemed to die when she heard the first voice. After what seemed like ages, it rose and stopped somewhere near the beautiful woman's throat; eyes bright orange from unshed tears. The woman known as Big Mom bit her trembling red lips looking down and staring into the man's worried eyes.

"Linlin-chan! Why are you crying? What it was? Did I do something wrong? Did I spin you too fast? I'm sorry!" - The blond haired man hurriedly rushed out, taking all the care in the world to lower the crying woman to the ground and moving to start drying her tears with little butterfly kisses. Yes. Every dripping tear was stopped by a kiss and a sweet apology.

"Naruto..." - Charlotte whispered with longing in her voice, still looking directly into the worried blond's eyes.

"Did I ever tell you that I love your laugh?" – the man's next question was meant to catch her by surprise, but Linlin was many things. Incredible and phenomenal, just to name a few, but she was no fool.

"Perhaps. You tell me many things, Naru-kun." – Charlotte pretended not to know anything in a cute pose. Resting one hand on her curvy waist and the other around his muscular neck, then moving closer – body to body – to get right up close to the man. The man of her life. An adorable smile dawned on the pink-haired woman's prodigious features.

"I love the way you smile, Charlotte Linlin."

"Mamamama! And I love you, Naru."

"BLEH! I love you too, mama, papa. Goodbye!"

"Eh! Was that Brûlée-chan? What was she doing there?" – Nervously the blond asked using a fake smile to pretend he didn't know anything – his right hand with the bandaged arm up to the elbow raised to scratch the back of the blond's neck. Linlin just rolled her eyes at that and disappeared.

"HEAVENLY FIRE!"

The next thing Naruto knew, he was seeing the inside of every candy used in the construction of the magnificent castle, as Big Mom hovered in a cloud of living fire, meters above the position of the man who landed on the top floor with only one beautiful woman fire slap.

"That's for you sending our children to spy on me, Naruto-kun. I hope you can survive this, my love. I'm not alone going to take care of all the lovely children you've given me! – Napoleon, Prometheus and Zeus!"

"IKOKU! (Mighty Nation!)"

"HEAVENLY BONBON!"

"INDRA! (Mighty Drum!)"

Only then did Uzumaki know the pain that made many men die with a full heart. The pain of love. A permanent wide smile on his face.

"Mamamama! And don't just lie there on the ground, Naru-kun! Come to our bed… I want my hug~!"

"A-Absolutely, dattebayo! My pink haired pirate goddess..."

"Ma-mamamama~!"

"Have you ever loved someone

So much you thought you'd die?

Giving so much of yourself

It seems the only way

Tell me what you want and I

And I will give it to you

'Cause you are

My love, do you ever dream of

Candy coated raindrops?

You're the same, my candy rain"

To be continued.
