Request Two: Millie should be happy that Priya is finally finding a boyfriend, but is unsure why she feels so upset about it.
This takes place after Episode 6's elimination.
Millie couldn't understand this feeling she was experiencing.
She should be happy Priya was experiencing her first relationship. Caleb was quite a catch and he also seemed to be falling for Priya too but she still couldn't get past the aching in her chest whenever she watched all their scenes together in Playa De Losers. It didn't make sense, she was Priya's best friend, wasn't she supposed to be happy for her?
"Is something wrong?" She heard Emma ask curiously. That's when Millie regained her bearings and remembered where she was. She was at the theater room with the rest of the eliminated contestants. Apparently the producers figured watching the rest of the season they lost would "teach them how to play better".
Back on topic, Millie wasn't sure how to answer Emma's question, she could easily lie and say she's not looking forward to seeing Bowie again, but she had no idea on how good of terms he and Emma were on.
Millie then realized something, she had to talk about this with someone, and out of all the people she could talk to about this situation, Emma wasn't the worst choice. Scary Girl was insane, Chase lacked the concept of empathy, and Nichelle was pretty vain. Emma may not have the best gut instinct, but she at least had SOME emotional intelligence.
"Well, it's kinda weird for me. I feel like I should be glad that Priya has a new potential boyfriend, but for some reason I feel like throwing up whenever I see her and Caleb together." Millie explained solemnly.
"Whoa, that is pretty weird." Emma tapped her chin before gaining a smirk, "How do you feel about Priya anyway?"
"What kind of question is that?" Millie asked in confusion, clearly confused by what Emma was asking as everyone in the cast already knew Priya and Millie were best friends.
"Just answer the question." Emma rolled her eyes impatiently.
"Well… she's my best friend and I feel really great when I'm around her. It's a feeling I can't really explain. It's like my whole world brightens up whenever I'm around her and that I always want to be by her side and… and…" Millie began rambling before coming to a realization, "Oh crud. Does this mean…"
"You like Priya!" Emma cried out joyfully gaining the attention of Scary Girl, Chase, and Nichelle much to Millie's embarrassment, though if it were any consolation, at least Emma looked equally embarrassed.
"Whoa whoa whoa, hold up." Nichelle said in shock, "You're telling me Millie here is in love with Priya?"
"I… guess so." Millie gulped nervously, not exactly thrilled with the amount of attention she was starting to receive but she was pretty confident in her answer at least.
"Oh man. This must be the first lesbian awakening of TD history and I got to see it for myself." Chase said smugly, "The guys back home are going to be so jealous."
"We don't know if she's a lesbian. She could be bisexual." Emma rolled her eyes in an attempt to defend the girl.
"Besides, I'm pretty sure MK and Julia are dating behind the scenes." Nichelle added.
"Those two are clearly just an alliance. They probably can't even stand each other." Chase scoffed.
"Are you kidding me, can you not see the signs in front of your face?" Nichelle asked incredulously.
"Oh please, what signs could they possibly be showing?" Chase rolled his eyes.
The two of them continued to argue as Millie awkwardly made her way out of the theater with Emma following behind her. Scary Girl just seemed to enjoy the chaos so she stayed back and said nothing.
After Millie and Emma made it to the dock, Millie sat down solemnly with Emma following suit.
"I can't believe I was oblivious to my own crush for so long." Millie sighed despondently.
"How long do you think you had this crush for?" Emma asked curiously.
"Now that I think about it, probably since the end of last season. It likely has something to do with me almost losing Priya forever." Millie admitted.
"Yeah… that oughta do it for ya." Emma laughed awkwardly before smiling hopefully, "Hey. Maybe it's not too late. I could potentially ask Bowie how close Priya and Caleb are getting? After all, maybe this is just some middle-school level crush going on. I'm sure Priya might have feelings for you too."
"Thanks for being hopeful Emma, but I doubt it. They seem to really care about each other. I can't interfere with that." Millie sighed miserably.
"So… what are you gonna do?" Emma spoke in concern.
"I'll just have to let Priya and Caleb work things out on their own. Priya's happiness comes first." Millie said confidently.
"Are you sure you'll be fine with them being together though?" Emma said sadly.
"I'm gonna be honest, I don't really know." Millie's eyes began watering as Emma placed a comforting hand on Millie's back.
Author's Note: A lot of people were requesting Prillie so I decided to try the jealousy plotline with these two. Since season two already has Praleb going on, I figured it'd be a good fit. I'll probably make a mutual relationship between them in another chapter though.
