Author's Note: I know, been a while. Kinda lost my motivation and I was kinda stuck on this chapter but anyway, here you go! Super long one this time.

Chapter 3

"Are you sure about this?" asked the new Principal Yaga Masamichi. He's been the principal for only seven years. Things are still a bit new to him but he takes his responsibilities seriously.

"How do we know we can trust her?"

"Don't worry. I'll train her." Satoru Gojo replied. The Principal used to be his teacher so he knows how conversations with Yaga went.

"She has massive amount of cursed energy." Yaga reminded him.

"All thanks to her curse. That's why I plan to test her. To see how strong her curse really is." Satoru said.

"So, she's inherited the Limitless. What about the Six-Eyes?" Yaga asked.

"I don't think she has the Six Eyes. Even if she did, she wouldn't know how to activate it unless I showed her."

"If she ends up destroying anything Satoru, we will have no choice but to execute her." Yaga said.

Satoru stayed silent. He really didn't want to go that far. He won't let it.

"So, what are we doing here?" Lily asked Satoru. The two arrived at an abandoned building.

"We're here to test your skills." Satoru said.

"Here?" Lily said as she looked at the absconded building wearily. "It's a little odd don't you think?"

"It's perfect. You see, curses come from negative emotion and that negative emotion tends to get left behind which will have curses linger where that negative emotion is being held." Satoru explained.

"So, this building used to be something?" Lily asked as she lightly touched the building wall.

"Yep. It used to be a high school." Satoru said.

Lily whirled around, harsh anger in her eyes. "Are you trying to set me up?" Her pupils were slit once again.

"In a way. I'm trying to trigger that curse of yours." Satoru said as he walked up to Lily, his finger pointing at her, inches away. Lily smacked his hand away.

"Seems to be working." Satoru said.

"I hate you." Lily said in a quiet, harsh tone.

"No, you don't. The curse does but not Lily." Satoru said. He knew who was speaking right now. It definitely isn't Lily but the curse itself.

"There should be a Grade 1 curse here." Satoru said.

"Grade 1?" Lily said. Her eyes are no longer slit but round. She looked at her brother in fear and worry.

"Hey, you're back." Satoru said.

"I'm back? What happened?" Lily asked.

"I wanted to see how your curse works. You were right. It comes out when you are being threatened." Satoru said.

"She came out?" Lily said.

"She? You know who the identity of your curse is?" Satoru asked.

"I think so. It feels female." Lily said. She shook her head. "Satoru, I don't think this is a good idea. What if I hurt someone or..."

"You hurt me?" Satoru guessed. "Don't worry. If your curse ends up attacking me, I'll knock her out."

"Besides," Satoru put his arm around Lily. "I'll put up a veil so no one can know what happened here."

He backed away from her and spoke in a low voice, holding up two fingers. "Emerge from darkness, blacker still, purify that which is impure."

A veil suddenly emerged from the sky and started dropping down around Lily and the old high school.

"Good luck and don't worry, I'll be out here waiting for you." Satoru said.

"Wait! Satoru!" Lily called out as she ran towards him but the veil was already closed. She banged against the veil but it was no use. She couldn't get through.

She clenched her fists and she turned around, putting on a brave, determined expression. She walked into the old high school with confidence she didn't feel.

As Lily walked through the hallways of the empty school, she began to remember memories. Memories of feeling left out. Memories of other students thinking about her. Memories of lashing out unexpectedly.

She shook her head and clutched her head, trying to forget or erase those memories.

"You know, I can stop the suffering." said a female voice. The curse's voice.

"No. I don't want to use you like that." Lily said.

"Come on. You won't even remember what happens." said her curse.

"Yeah. And I want to make sure you don't get anyone hurt when I take over." Lily said back.

"Curse incoming." said the curse.

Lily didn't have time to react. Out of nowhere, a curse rushed towards her. Both her and the curse flew out of the window from the third floor. Lily was shocked at how fast the curse moved. She was falling. Fast. Immediately she manifested her wings again and curved upwards, then hovered in the air.

She looked down at the curse, it's long thin body, long thin arms and legs, it's small oval shaped head, and huge gnashing teeth.

"It doesn't look that strong." Lily said.

"Don't underestimate it. Curses can surprise you." said her curse.

The curse suddenly grabbed Lily by the leg and pulled her down by quick force. It dropped her onto the ground, taking her breath away.

The curse let go. Lily sat up, coughing. She looked up at the curse, analyzing it.

"It can stretch its arms. That's how it got you." the curse informed her.

"Thanks." Lily said, annoyed.

The curse began laughing. Laughing? It was toying with her. Lily stood up, flared open her wings and sped towards the curse. She extracted sharp deadly looking claws and sliced upwards on the curse.

Her claws ripped through the curse's flesh, its blood splattering. Then with an angry roar, the curse lunged for Lily and bit down hard on her shoulder, it's large teeth sinking into her skin.

Lily let out a pained yell but then she punched the curse. It flung away from her. Lily stood there, placing her hand on her shoulder to stop the bleeding. The curse got up. Despite being injured, it still had a lot of energy left.

Right. This is a Grade 1 curse. And I'm Special Grade. So why can't I beat this thing?!

"It's because you are holding back! Let me take over!" said her curse.

"No!" Lily said.

"Let me take over! You are being threatened!" screamed her curse.

"No!" Lily said again. Then without warning, Lily was punched in the stomach and was thrown across the ground. She hit against the high school building, her breath knocked out of her again. She fell to the floor and then went unconscious.

"Lily, why do you think you were born with a curse?"

Why? Because I am weak without you. I need your strength. Your courage.

"I'm here to protect you. To make you stronger. More brave. Please, let me do what I do best."

Fine. I give in.

The curse was about to attack. Lily's eyes flew open. The curse was flung away suddenly. It fell to the floor and looked to see what just happened. It's eyes widened.

Standing before the curse was Lily's Special Grade curse form, the form of a Western dragon. Eyes glowing bright light-blue, pupils slitted very thin, white fur around her whole body, shimmering white wings with a hint of blue, snow-white fur along her head, neck, back, and tail.

The curse shook in fear. Outside the veil, Satoru could feel his sister's cursed energy. It was massive. Unlimited.

"Lily Gojo, Special Grade: Protective Spirit." Satoru said.

Lily's curse lowered her head, her eyes on the curse. With a delighted smile, she said "Special Grade Technique: Paralyzing Sight!"

Immediately the Grade 1 curse stopped or froze in place. Then inhaling, Lily's curse exhaled a stream of black cursed energy from her mouth: Blackflash. It obliterated the Grade 1 curse.

The curse was dead. Lily stood there, heaving. This feeling felt familiar to her. Even though her curse has taken over, she can still feel everything around herself. Then a flashback came to her. A flashback of when she first arrived in Jujutsu High.

Lily was training with other sorcerers until her curse unleashed itself, thinking Lily was in danger. She took out most of the sorcerers.

Masamichi and Satoru were watching, one angry, one calm.

"Satoru, she's a danger to the sorcerers and Jujutsu High. She needs to be executed!" Masamichi said.

But Satoru just simply walked up to his cursed sister.

"Satoru, are you listening to me!" Masamichi said to him.

Lily's curse turned to him, eyes glowing bright and her mouth in a snarl, showing small sharp teeth. Satoru looked up at his sister, into her eyes. He placed his hand on her head, having Lily's curse freeze in place.

"I know you're in there. You don't have to be afraid. I won't hurt you. I won't let anyone hurt you. You're not a curse. You're not a monster." Satoru smiled. "You're my sister."

Lily roared out, feeling the pain of being different but also being loved by her only brother.

"No! What are you doing!?" her cursed roared out.

"I won't use my power to hurt anyone!" Lily cried out.

"No! Don't switch back!" the curse yelled out.

In a bright white light, Lily transformed back to normal. The veil around the abandoned school disappeared. Satoru walked to his unconscious sister who was on the floor.

"Well done, Lily. Well done." Satoru said.

A single year rolled down from Lily's closed eyes.
