Hanukkah Party and Celebration, Part 2:
Meanwhile, back at the store, Jennifer saw both Shimmer and Shine carts loaded with different stuff...
Jennifer: (giggles) Well, what's all this?
The two genies saw their carts. Shimmer had an incredulous look when she's saw that Shine's cart was loaded with stuff that was different from Hanukkah...
Shimmer: Shine! What did you get?!
Shine: Well, sis, I got pizza, potato chips, pies, and soda.
Shimmer: But this stuff isn't really how people celebrate Hanukkah!
Shine: I just thought we would have some side food to have as well.
Jennifer: Girls, let's just take both carts.
Shimmer: Fine with me.
Shine: Okay.
Jennifer: I better get another cart, so I can show you both what other stuff people get during Hanukkah.
Jennifer got a third shopping cart, (while leaving the first two up front to purchase out) and took the genies to different aisles in the store. She got holiday-styled dominoes, a Chanukkah memory game, a bingo set, a cookie decorating set, and some decorations. Jennifer wheeled up the cart to the purchase area, paid for the stuff in the carts, then checked them all out.
Jennifer: Wow, we sure bought a lot of stuff here.
Shimmer: Yeah, we ended up getting food that isn't regularly part of Hanukkah. (glared at Shine)
Shine: Well, we at least have more food, so we won't run out.
Jennifer: Anyway, what are we doing with this stuff?
Shine: (excited) Oh, you'll find out soon. But Shimmer needs to go back to the community center alone first.
Jennifer: Alright, then.
Shimmer walked out of the big store, magically carrying all the bags, then transported herself back to the front of the community center, and opened the door...
Zeta: Shimmer, you're back!
Leah: Where's Shine and Jennifer?
Shimmer: Oh, they're walking back here right now. So, we need to get this place ready for the party!
Shabbid: Let's give my wife a big surprise!
Nazboo put his right arm up and cheered. Shimmer and Zeta used their magic to decorate the room, then everyone else got the food ready in the back kitchen. Outside, Shine and Jennifer were slowly walking back to the community center...
Shine: I have to admit, you sure are charismatic.
Jennifer: (smiling) Well, Shine, I tend to always look on the bright side.
Shine: (laughs) Yeah, me, Shimmer, and Leah have always managed that when we mess up sometimes.
Back inside the community center, everyone finishing cooking the food and decorating the place. (by using magic and hard work) Then, Shabbid looked through the window...
Shabbid: Hey, I see Jennifer!
Leah: Let's hide!
The whole gang hid in different parts of the center. A moment later, the door opened, and Shine and Jennifer walked inside. As she closed the door, Jennifer asked, 'Where is everybody?' Shine, with a knowing look, says, 'Why, I'm not sure.' Just after that, everyone came in the room, and yelled, 'Surprise!' to Jennifer, catching her off guard...
Jennifer: Wow, what is this?!
Zeta: It's a huge surprise that Shabbid asked us to plan for you.
Shabbid: Yeah, I wanted to throw you a Hannukah party!
Leah: We had to keep you away from here until it was ready.
Jennifer came up to Shabbid...
Jennifer: Sweetie, this is the surprise you'd done for me. I love it.
She then gave him a big hug and kiss.
Leah: I hope you'll have the best holiday party today, Jennifer.
Jennifer: (smiles) I think I will, Leah.
A montage happens...
The Hanukkah party and celebration had officially started. First, everyone had slices of the different kinds of pizza that were there. Then, they had different slices of the potato chips with the French onion dip. Then for dessert they had different slice of pie with Coca-Cola. Afterwards, they played some holiday-styled party games. The kids played with the holiday-styled dominoes, while the adults played the Chanukkah memory game. Then both the kids and adults played bingo and decorated cookies to eat. Later, for dinner, they all had a meal of potato pancakes (which were cooked) and jelly donuts. Afterwards, they lighted the menorah on the table, who doing a prayer in Hebrew, and reading a story on the Hanukkah holiday. Finally, everyone watched Hanukkah-based specials and a holiday film, 'Elf', while having popcorn (which was delicious) and cranberry juice.
Montage ends.
After the movie, it was time for the team to get on their way home...
Jennifer: Everyone, thank you for this surprise Hanukkah party.
Shimmer: It's no problem, Jennifer.
Shine: Yeah, we love to throw parties, whether it's the holidays or otherwise.
Zeta: This was fun. (turns to Shabbid) Shabbid, I hope in the future our families can meet each other.
Shabbid: I would like for that to happen, Zeta.
Jennifer: Maybe we'll meet each other again.
Leah: We're happy that you loved our party surprise.
Shimmer: Good night.
Shine: And Happy Holidays!
Nazboo nodded his head at hearing that. The whole team waved goodbye to Shabbid and Jennifer as everyone walked outside, while Shabbid and Jennifer waved back. They all thought about the fun time they had as they were walking away. When they got to an empty area, Shimmer, Shine, and Zeta got out the genie bottle, and used it to transport themselves, Leah, and Nazboo back to Zahramay Falls, and back home. It was a great Hannukah party and celebration the genies (and Leah) had helped out in.
