Alright guys, I got to the part I've wanted to for awhile. Now I am going on break and next time I come back I will add until the current arc is finished.
Hope u guys understand and enjoy this chapter.
Child Endangerment
Blake had made it to the far end of nowhere after hitching a ride on a truck.
She looked at her scroll and ahead at the village she arrived in.
Everything looks fine, was this really the place he went to when he wasn't training Yang? Why? It didn't look like anything he'd be interested in.
Maybe this wasn't that special of a place are they even aware of him being here?
Blake walked in the village and noticed tails and ears with black spots on them. All of them are leopard Faunus.
One elder walked up to her. "Hello madam, welcome to our village, how may I help you?"
The Cat Faunus looked at the elder and had to ask.
"Sorry to bother you, have you seen the Scourge of Anima?" She asked.
"Oh?" He asked with a smile. "Yes actually, he had recently protected our village from a group of slavers."
Blake was surprised hearing that, it didn't sound like Kron at all.
"Really?"
"Yes, our people were being abducted not long ago but he came and saved us all, including my granddaughter."
The Cat Faunus couldn't believe she was hearing this, she started to smile.
"Can you tell me more please?"
Blake listened to the story of what Kron has been up to, he kept his mask on while protecting a child, stopping slavers that the White Fang prevented.
She couldn't but think her mother was right, there was good in Kron.
He's not the next Adam, he's something more, just like Ozpin had said.
Far from Vale
Kron uppercut a beowolf, sending it upward, and kicked another across the face sending it flying.
He turned and grabbed one's claw before tossing it on top of another.
In seconds another pack of beowolves were destroyed with little to no effort.
Again, in mere seconds, he was starting to stop holding back.
"Pfft" Kron was annoyed, none of the Grimm lasted long enough for him to break a sweat.
He tried holding back to provide some kind of benefit to his power level, but he lacked the patience to.
Three months had passed since he started his 'game' with Yang. While it was nice watching her grow stronger, he was missing when he used to just go and fight all the time.
But he couldn't afford to leave in the chance Raven showed up early.
Not that the fight was going to be exciting.
He wanted her dead, yes, but after fighting Winter he doubted she'd be much fun.
When he trained for eight years straight his goal was to surpass Raven and he did. But now knowing that he surpassed her by this much made him realize how boring fighting can be without someone able to withstand his full might. Grimm, Huntsmen, Maidens, Soul Dust Users, Ozpin's enhanced huntsmen, all of them are the same. Fun, but only if he holds back.
And he was sick of it. He never thought he'd over-trained for his fight with Raven.
Hopefully, after this month Yang will reach Maiden level, after killing the old hag she will receive the Maiden abilities.
He imagined Yang holding up one hand with Ki, the other covered in Maiden fire, and her eyes blood red with her Semblance.
Surely that will be worth fighting.
And with her newfound hate, she'll fight even harder than she does already. At least that was how his Saiyan instincts reacted to it.
He liked that thought but also frowned wondering if he'll get to see her smile at him while promising him a good fight.
It was like the Menagerie Incident
Who knew he would feel this way again and from Raven's brat of all people?
Not that it mattered, all that mattered is the fight she can provide.
He thought back to his encounter with Sepia, how her Semblance gave him the idea to teach someone Ki. Funny he thought of Adam originally but that changed when he found someone better with a better version of his Semblance, one that doesn't need a weapon.
That punch she threw hurt him it didn't make him bleed but still, that was impressive. The Ace Operatives had to fight together to do anything to hurt him.
Yang will prove if this experiment of his was a waste of time or not.
And even if she doesn't, he can still see her evolving with time.
While he does have hopes for Yang getting stronger, she's not the only one he can count on for something fun.
He thought of that Cinder woman. She was a joke and relied on her lackeys, but she'll likely get that Soul Dust since Bertilak and Carmine clearly had it.
Perhaps after this deal is done, he'll go after her, wherever that worm is hiding.
Kron looked at the sky thinking of the old hag, the prize of this deal.
All he knows about her is that she is working with Sienna, right now that is. He wondered what she was doing and if she had betrayed Sienna already.
What else is the old hag doing?
Anima
Raven was standing on a ledge looking down with a blank expression. She looked at the group that had exiled her. Only a little over a dozen members left besides Vernal.
From the looks of it, there are a couple of new faces she didn't recognize most likely members that Vernal had recruited.
She can see an orange-haired girl in a green blouse, fragile looking thing. She must be stronger than she looks, perhaps a prodigy. Not that it matters unless she's the Winter Maiden she should be no trouble.
Though wary of any surprises Ironwood may have planned she descended slowly with her Maiden abilities and landed with grace.
She walked forward the whole time staring at Vernal.
Vernal was blue in the face watching her get closer and closer. This couldn't be. She covered her tracks, she avoided anyone who knew her!
Her fellow tribesmen all looked terrified, but some were surprisingly smug as if there was nothing to worry about.
But the current leader of the Branwen Tribe took a step back terrified.
Before Raven could get any closer the orange-haired girl stood in front of her way.
The former bandit raised an eyebrow at the sight debating what to do with her.
"Salutations!" Penny yelled as cheerful as ever. "Raven Branwen! You are under arrest and must be brought in for questioning!"
Raven's eyes glowed a fiery red and she swung her arm.
Penny was taken by surprise as a gust of Wind magic sent her skidding across the ground.
As she was flown back Raven looked surprised, that was meant to send her flying away. So, she's not just a prodigy she's a problem.
"As I said." Penny continued with a smile, one blade appeared behind her and divided behind her into 10 of the same blades. "You are to be brought in for questioning."
Raven looked at her for a few seconds, she was so bizarre, clearly powerful but a child.
"Walk away" Raven instructed. "I am in no mood to show mercy." She glared over to Vernal who looked terrified. "I have 'family' matters to attend to."
"I cannot let you do that." Penny rebutted. "Perhaps you can discuss your differences while in our custody?"
Raven sighed, she hoped for no interruptions. She looked to Vernal and the rest of tribe.
"I will be watching you all very carefully." She said to them as a warning.
One of the tribesmen got brave and yelled. "You have no right to order us around you traitor!"
Raven rose an eyebrow and looked at Vernal who glared at her kin. She smirked looking at her.
Vernal wanted to tell that idiot to shut his mouth her tribe still believe that they had that leverage over her.
Still smiling she placed a hand on Omen and looked to Penny.
Business before pleasure.
Penny stood, combat-ready, with her blades floating behind her.
Immediately Raven's eyes glowed the fiery red and dashed towards Penny.
Before she was within striking distance green and black armor spread around her body.
Raven swung her red blade for her neck, only for Penny's sword to be raised and block the strike.
Looking at the armor Raven can tell Ironwood had been busy.
One of the floating blades swiped for her face.
Raven pulled back her sword and tilted her head before it can slash her.
Penny used her strings to swing multiple blades at once in different directions.
The Spring Maiden rose her blade to block several slashes while stepping back.
Vernal was relieved watching this, she knew that this Penny girl could measure up to Raven. She turned to her men and began running with them following.
But the observant Raven noticed and jumped back as two blades landed where she stood. With her magic she floated and swiped her arm releasing a cold air.
The Branwen Tribe had their entire bodies except for their heads trapped in ice.
Vernal shivered and tried to move but to no avail she glared up at her captor.
Raven grinned looking at her that should keep her in place, she turned back to Penny and her eyes widened.
She moved her body as the ten blades were sent spinning towards her like a ring.
Raven immediately threw a fire ball towards Penny.
The android side stepped out of the way and moved her arms.
Behind Raven the blades spun back towards her.
The former chief turned and threw fire towards the blades to melt them.
But Penny spread her arms.
The blades divided into groups as the fire ball missed and stabbed towards Raven in different angles.
Raven was surprised but remembered dealing with something like this before. She covered herself in ice, the blades stabbed into the ice but did not reach her.
Penny looked surprising seeing the unusual way she avoided the attack.
The ice then shattered as lightning released from it.
Penny was struck coated in electricity and sent skidding back until she crashed through a tree.
The ten blades hit the ground along with broken ice.
Raven floated down onto the ground and crossed her arms. She debated whether to land the finishing blow or not, she didn't look older than her daughter, but she was in the way and Ironwood was the imbecile who sent her.
After justifying that in her mind Raven ran forward with her blade reared back ready to stab into Penny on the ground.
To her surprise Penny was conscious, Penny pulled her arms, and she was dragged across the ground as Raven stabbed into the ground where she was.
Penny jumped up and stood beside her fallen swords, she used her strings to pull her back to her blades.
Raven looked at her and pulled back her sword. "Impressive" As she thought this girl was more than she seemed. "Still Ironwood is now relying on children to fight his battles?" She asked. "Must've learned that from Ozpin."
Penny stood up and glared. "Please refrain from insulting my General." She said politely and thrusted her arms focusing her blades forward.
Raven either blocked or evaded every strike but not without difficulty. Taiyang and Qrow made sense since they have Ozpin's Void Vault but this girl.
Just as Raven blocked a blade with her armor on her forearm, the girl was right in front of her.
Penny swung a kick into Raven's abdomen.
She was surprised at the impact of that kick and was sent skidding back.
Then the blades swung into her.
Raven was barely able to avoid fatal areas, all around her she had scratches on her face, her shoulder and leg.
"Tch" Raven looked at Penny with more caution, this girl, not only does she seem to have a telekinetic, Semblance, but she's also good at close combat. That kick wasn't normal, she felt like she had gotten hit by steel.
Penny rose her hands as the blades again surrounded her to strike at her at all angles.
Raven moved out of the way being able to avoid the same tactic twice.
But again Penny with her armor producing jets at her boots flung herself at her.
Raven turned to see another kick headed her way.
The former bandit tilted her head back not wanting to take another strike.
Penny lifted a finger.
A blade swung and slashed across Raven's cheek forcing her head to turn.
Penny swung another kick for her face and this time it made her stumble back, she was about to throw a punch.
But Raven recovered, duck underneath and swept kick her.
Penny hit the ground looked up to see her stabbing her blade.
Again the android lifted a hand as a blade was swung behind her.
Raven knew that would happen and tilted her head.
Penny took this as her chance and kicked into her abdomen sending her rolling away.
The former bandit crashed against a boulder from the kick, blade came from her forehead covering her eye.
"Damn it" Raven was annoyed at how this was more difficult than she thought it would. She understood that whatever that armor she's wearing was designed to compete with Maidens, what she can't understand is how a girl this age could be this capable? Even with that strange armor she shouldn't be this good, she's seen prodigies before, she's been one but even she couldn't fight this well at her age.
As Raven stood up she noticed four blades stabbed into the ground while six were floating behind her back.
Penny glanced at the blades stabbed into different parts of the area, this should help her counter Raven's speed, if she remains in the area.
Circling her arms, the blades on her back spun and were sent forward in a ring shape.
Raven rose an eyebrow she had to know this wouldn't be effective.
The former bandit stood her ground wanting to see what she was up to.
The ring came closer and so Raven jumped over it while keeping an eye on it.
Penny spread her arms again, the blades spread apart.
Raven was annoyed at how she was deploying the same tactic and ran towards Penny intent on finishing this.
By moving her fingers, Penny had one blade at a time.
Raven eyed her surroundings a blade stabbed into the ground in front of her, and another was swung aimed at her leg.
Raven swung her sword across the deflecting the blades. She then turned and threw lightning at her.
But Penny was ready and evaded it.
That dodge was enough time for Raven to close the gap, she was right in front of her and swung Omen.
But Penny moved one finger, and she was pulled away as she missed and came next to her sword.
Raven was surprised she thought her speed was greater at least, but she wasn't deterred and turned to her.
Then suddenly with quicker speed than she's shown Penny came back to where Raven was and kicked for her chin.
Raven rose her blade to block, the red Fire Dust blade shattered and slammed up her chin.
Penny arrives at another of one of her swords stabbed into the ground, she moves her hand and was propelled back to where Raven is.
The former bandit can see Penny attacking her again.
She sways just barely avoiding another strike.
Raven eyed Penny as she stopped again next to another sword that was stabbed into the ground.
Just then the six swords levitated off the ground and swung towards Raven from behind.
The former bandit turned and was unable to dodge perfectly and was slashed across her stomach and was sent tumbling on the ground.
Raven looked down at where she was slashed and sees a line of blade just above an Ursa Claw shape scar. A scar that Kron had given her after their last confrontation.
She glanced up and looks at Penny who had a sad look on her face.
"Please surrender, your Aura levels are decreasing at a quick rate, you cannot keep this up for long."
Raven didn't pay attention and only looked at the blade stabbed into the ground next to Penny's boots.
She sees a thin line of green string that most wouldn't be able to detect. She glanced around to see three other blades that she had stabbed into the ground while relying on six of them.
So that's it.
Raven didn't answer and dashed towards her as if ready to attack again.
With a disappointed look Penny pulled her arm and used her thrusters to propel her away.
Which Raven had noticed, she wasn't just quick, she was using the string attached to the blades stabbed into the ground along with the jets in her boots to make the appearance of speed that outclassed a Maiden.
Interesting, but now that she's identified how she was doing it she has a solution for it.
Once Penny had been propelled to the sword on the ground, she did the same again propelling herself forward with an elbow out aimed at Raven's temple.
But Raven saw this coming and merely took a step back.
Penny's elbow had missed and couldn't stop her propulsion.
Which Raven took advantage of and pulled out Omen with a yellow Lightning Dust blade and swung across her.
Penny arrived at another one of her blades, she looked down to see a slash across her armor which was a surprise, this armor was made of the strongest alloys along with her Aura to protect it.
Her surprise would be her undoing as Raven came to her side.
Penny turned and was tried to defend herself.
With a sudden burst of speed, Raven unleashes a series of lightning-fast strikes with her lightning Dust blade, forcing Penny to stay on the defensive. She tried to block with her armor at her wrists.
Penny lifted her fingers and propelled herself backward faster than she could respond away from Raven.
The android realizes that Raven had figured out her strategy, she'll need to rely on long range again.
More blades came behind Raven and were trusted towards her back.
Raven saw that coming into and evaded them as she turned but she rose one hand grabbing the blade by its hilt.
Penny was surprised by this and tried to pull her blade back.
But Raven grabbed the string Penny's sword was attached to and pulled her arm using all her enhanced strength.
Penny was pulled by the swift action.
Raven then put her other hand on Penny's face, it glowed light blue and formed an ice crustal that surrounded Penny trapping her in ice.
The black-haired woman pulled her hand back and looked at her handiwork.
Whatever her age is, this 'Student' was more than meets the eye.
Raven turned to the Branwen Tribe that were trapped in ice.
Vernal was trying to escape and became more frantic as she sees that Raven was walking away from Penny who was trapped in ice.
As Raven was taking steps forward, she heard a cracking sound.
She sighed it looks like Ironwood got the cream of the crop when it came to students.
Cracks formed on the ice surrounding Penny before she broke out covering the battlefield in ice crystals.
Penny took a knee, she suffered a lot more damage in this battle than expected. If she was going to win, she had to do it now. She looked at Raven who only had scratches on her, they were right about her, Raven was far above any huntsmen or huntresses.
She knows her tactics by now, there was one thing she won't see coming, she just needed the right moment.
Raven was intending to end this now she was being greatly irritated by her constantly getting in her way.
Penny ran forward using her jet pack to propel herself towards Raven with her blades rising and floating behind her back.
Raven swung her blade across prepared to block her next strike.
But Penny had stopped halfway before she was within reach and her blades spun pointed at Raven.
The former bandit was confused at this tactic.
But a green ball of light formed at the end.
And Penny made fists and thrusted forward.
A lazer of green light was launched towards Raven.
Raven was caught off guard as the green laser of Hard Light Dust was lunched and collided with her body.
It sent her flying and destroyed boulders behind her, a burnt hole across the forest was made as the aftermath of her attack.
Penny looked at where she had fired at Raven with a blank expression hoping that it was enough to bring her down finally.
Vernal smiled at the sight, she was free, free form her. Sure, she may spend time at an Atlesian prison but she can share any useful info on Kron to get her and her tribe some leeway to leave unscathed. Surely the general fears Kron to do that for her.
Penny's eyes light up scanning for any signs of life, she found nothing. No body, nothing. She was saddened, she wanted to bring her in alive, she did not want to be responsible for any deaths.
"I am sorry." She said as she couldn't come to any conclusion other than she destroyed Raven and her body.
"Not as sorry as I am."
Penny's eyes widened as she turned around, she saw Raven but there was something different about her.
Raven was covered in scratches, affected by the Light Dust but showed no great damage.
And her eyes, they glowed a larger light.
Penny looked terrified at the sight and so did the trapped Branwen Tribe.
Raven glared at Penny and sighed. "I did not want to use this on a child, but if you are going to stand in the way of my retribution then you can join my 'family'."
Penny in a panic changes tactics, utilizing her blades to thrust towards Raven. But in a blink of an eye, Raven conjures her increased magic creates a small swirling vortex, effortlessly deflecting each projectile and sending them harmlessly off course. It's a stunning display of Raven's control over her magic, control she never would have gotten without her fear of Kron.
Penny pivots on her heels and charges again, this time trying to land a solid blow with her enhanced strength.
This time Raven responds with a kick across Penny's abdomen amplified with magic and Aura.
The ginger haired android was sent rolling on the ground.
Penny now growing desperate launches her barrage of sword projectiles from her fingertips, each one crackling with an explosive energy, aiming to force Raven into a defensive position.
But Raven, without any emotion, effortlessly sidesteps the onslaught, using her finely honed reflexes to dodge and weave. With a graceful sweep of her blade, she counters, her attack amplified by her Fully Realized state, providing her with unparalleled strength and agility.
Before Raven would only be able to block with her blade, now though her sword was shattering the blades surrounding her.
Pieces of metal scattered across the found from the impacts of her slashes.
Penny's pupils dilated, she didn't think that Raven would be this dangerous, she took several steps back wondering what to do. She decided to get some distance and dashed backwards with her thrusters at her feet until she figured out her next move.
Raven merely backhanded the air sending an explosive gust of wind toward Penny. The gust disrupts Penny's flight path, causing her to tumble towards the ground.
The wind sent Penny spiraling out of control unable to do a thing but be taken to the air.
And Raven jumped and made it to where Penny was launched to.
With quick precision Raven stabbed into Penny's gut and the two slammed into the ground.
It created a large column of smoke that surrounded them.
Vernal shook her head, Raven had become this powerful in three years? She didn't think this was possible and tried desperately to move.
When the smoke cleared Raven stood over Penny, her blade stabbed into Penny's abdomen.
Raven tilted her head at what she was seeing, her sword pierced through her armor and into her body.
But much to her surprise there was no blood, but instead wires. Electricity spark from the 'wound' she had given Penny.
Penny looked terrified at her wound and looked up at her opponent for the first time since her functioning was scared.
"I see" Raven said not bothered looking down at her victim. "So this is why Ironwood resorted to sending a child to apprehend me." She noted looking at Penny. "Your no child, just another robot in his army." She noted. "A puppet."
Penny looked hurt when she said that and shook her head.
"Please don't call me that." She had the face of a young child being scolded by an adult.
"Honestly though Ironwood seems to be taking a twisted approach." Raven continued not caring for how she looked. "He even had you look innocent, likely to appeal to your opponent's mercy, right?"
Penny grabbed the lightning Dust blade that stabbed into her body and immediately lifted. She then tried to throw a punch to Raven's shins.
But the former bandit was quicker and kicked Penny across her side.
This sent the android rolling away from her.
Penny collided into a gathering of trees, she looked terrified and saddened. She was unable to continue fighting, she may cease functioning soon.
Raven looked at Penny and had no pity. This was no child, just a machine, no different than Atlesian knights. She then glanced over at her- no the Branwen Tribe that were desperately trying to escape their Icey prison.
"You see this?" She asked. "This is your last hope of getting away from me, being destroyed." She said to them. "Don't worry, I won't kill you right away, I may need you for something."
Vernal desperately tried to break free as did the other tribe members but to no avail.
Penny was covered in scratches, a couple revealing her wires, her blades were scattered on the ground, she glanced up to see Raven walking towards her.
She scooted back for the first time in her life terrified.
As Raven was taking her time getting to her she stopped when she heard something.
Instinctively she rose her blade up blocking a blade heading for her neck. She then kicked across the assailant's abdomen sending her back.
"Who's this now?" Raven asked noticing that they were able to take her attack well.
It was a woman with long brown hair with two tuffs, armor like Penny's but brown.
Sepia glared at Raven, the leader of the Branwen Tribe, the one who sicked the Scourge of Anima after her husband.
If only she arrived sooner, perhaps together they could've taken her down.
She wanted to bring her down to capture her and bring her to justice. But she looked over at Penny, she was in rough shape, fighting would mean risking her shutting down.
She glared at Raven debating what to do, she glanced over at the prisoners Penny had captured trapped in ice.
If she leaves Raven will kill them or worse, take the entail they were relayed. That wasn't justice, and it went against everything she stood for, even if they were monsters, they still deserved a fair trial.
She glanced at Penny who seemed to be getting up but struggling to. But fighting might mean her death.
That wasn't justice either, also she knows that she can't win if Penny couldn't handle her. She took a few steps back until she was side by side with Penny.
"Miss Ugla?" Penny asked as if she was unsure what to do.
Sepia looked above at the sun and placed a hand on her shoulder. The two were surrounded in a blinding light.
Raven covered her eyes trying not to blind herself, once she moved her arm, she sees that the duo was nowhere to be seen.
She glanced to see her tribe still trapped in ice, oh well, they didn't matter. She has her prize.
"Hey!" Vernal yelled. "You orange haired brat! Get back here now!" She yelled as her last hope had fled the scene, as she kept yelling, she heard footsteps.
She and the entire tribe turned to see Raven walking towards them.
Raven stopped just a foot away from the trapped Vernal and looked at her face.
The black-haired woman stared into the eyes of her protégé and glanced down to see the Branwen Helm on the ground.
Sepia panted as she managed to take Penny far away from Raven. She glared in her direction, someone she wanted to bring down, but couldn't as of now.
The Owl Faunus shook her head, there will be an opportunity to take her down. Once Penny is repaired together, they will take her down.
"Sepia"
She turned to her companion who was using her finger with what looked like a blowtorch doing her own repairs.
"I'm so sorry Sepia, I thought I would be capable of defeating her on my own and didn't think she'd be this powerful." Penny said to her. "I'm sorry for my failure."
Sepia looked at Penny and can see the disappointment on her face. She shook her head. "No, I know you did what you could, next time we will face her together."
She helped Penny up and smiled. "I know you fought valiantly, next time we won't make the mistake of separating."
Penny nodded happy to see that her partner seemed to be growing fonder of her.
"Come" Sepia instructed. "We have to get to Vale our true target is waiting for us."
The orange haired girl nodded as she walked with her and repairing herself.
"The boat is this way, it's an Atlesian ship General Ironwood had arranged for us, hopefully we'll be there before the Branwen Tribe can say anything."
"Do you think they will keep quiet of what they told us?" The android asked unsure of it.
A good question given that their a bunch of cowards that would do anything to save their own hide.
"I don't know, however one thing is clear, if they told her that the Scourge was after her daughter, I doubt even someone as cold blooded as Raven would respond well to that." She said to her. "Our only chance is hope that they believe their fate will be sealed if they tell her that."
Penny nodded wishing they could do more to protect their intel but knew it was impossible as of now.
"Raven is stronger than expected, I believe the same may happen with the Scourge of Anima." She said to her partner. "Even together do you think we will be a match for him?"
Sepia squeezed her fists when she heard that, it was true, according to their information Kron had put Raven under a coma on his own when he was a child.
"I'll admit I'm not sure." She admitted but pulled out a sphere that her armor produces to enhance her Semblance's capabilities.
She looked at it and can feel the light radiating with in. She had used her Semblance daily to gather as much sunlight as possible inside it. Ever since she had gotten her Crusader Armor, she had been using it daily to stockpile sunlight.
She remembered the last time she had encountered the Scourge, using his own light was dangerous. She felt her body being torn apart when using it, and she doubted he would rely on energy attacks to fight her again. All he had to do is rely on physical attacks and even with Crusader Armor she'd been vulnerable.
Which is why she had decided to stockpile her own light.
Hopefully it will be enough to make sure he can never hurt anyone else ever again. She thought of her husband watching him die.
No one will be harmed by him ever again.
Sepia looked at Penny and smiled. "I know we can Penny, thank you for your assistance."
Penny was surprised to see her seem happy and smiled back.
"Yes, let us both be combat ready!"
Sepia nodded and looked at the sphere in her hand. If Raven does get the information from those bandits, maybe they both will be there. If so perhaps it will be enough light to wipe them both out.
After that her husband will be able to rest in peace.
Raven looked at the woman whose legs were trapped in ice, she took the Branwen Helm and looked at it.
"Put that down!" One of the tribesmen yelled. "The Branwen Helm is only to be worn by our leader!"
"Shut up!" Vernal yelled not appreciating her men's misplaced confidence in this situation and looked at Raven in fear as she examined the helmet.
"Raven" Vernal began. "Listen, please, just let us go. Alright? We can talk." She whispered her not wanting any to hear. "I'll do anything, if, if you want to lead the tribe again then y-"
Before she finished her sentence the Branwen Helm was placed on her head, her face was full of surprise when she expected to see Raven wear it.
Raven looked at Vernal and scanned her up and down. She smiled at the sight.
"I have to say, it suits you far more than me." She complimented. "It's a fitting crown for a queen of cowards and weaklings."
The younger woman didn't respond but seemed to be hyperventilating. This wasn't like Raven, she seemed to enjoy her misery. She always saw being petty as a waste of time and energy. What did she have in store for her?
"You! What do you think you're doing traitor?!" One of her men shouted.
Raven turned her head to look at one of her former men. She had forgotten his name.
"You were exiled!" He yelled. "Why are you here?"
Raven looked down at Vernal again and smirked at her.
Vernal was scared, she was staring death in the face. And she can tell that she knew. She knew that she hadn't said anything about her contacting her. They still think she had leverage over her.
"Hey! We still have that video!" Another shouted. "Free us! Or it'll get released to the public!" One shouted.
The woman turned to her former kinsman and spoke. "You already banished me, now you want to use me for favors?"
"Shut it has been!" One shouted to her. "Free us now or we'll sick the world on you!"
Raven turned to Vernal and kneeled ignoring the ones demanding to be freed.
"I had kept secrets to." Raven confessed. "For their own good right?"
Vernal glared as she said that and squeezed her knuckles. Her plan blew up in her face and she wasn't sure what to do about it now.
Raven stood up and looked down at her men and one she didn't know.
"Who're you? We're you part of the tribe when I lead it?"
The newest member of the tribe squirmed beneath her gaze. "I um, no ma'am."
Raven looked at the others and turned to Vernal.
"Tell me where's everyone else?"
Vernal's anger rose hearing that question, but she kept a straight face.
The former Branwen Tribe leader chuckled. "Not so easy, is it?" She asked smiling. "Leading the tribe takes discipline, micromanaging, things you were not prepared for."
"Shut up! Get away!" Vernal shouted scared beyond belief.
"Vernal!" One of them yelled. "Stop freaking out! We have the video, she can't do shit to us!"
Raven looked over to her former tribe member and smiled. "She didn't tell you, did she?" She asked and he looked confused. She looked at Vernal and smiled. "Both Ozpin and Salem already know what I am."
"What? Wait, no they don't!" One of them shouted. "We haven't told our contact to release it! And how would Vernal know?"
Vernal wanted to stop all this but she couldn't she was too scared, she wanted out of the situation.
"Vernal" Raven said sternly. "I told you I expected a warm welcome, did you not tell them that I contacted you weeks ago?"
The chief shook her head. "Shut up!"
"What?" One of her men shouted. "This true Vernal?"
Vernal said nothing and looked up at Raven.
"Please, stop! Just let us go, we're family aren't we?" She pleaded.
Raven looked down at her student and glanced at her men.
"Vernal! You didn't warn us! Why?! Now we're dead!" They yelled all kinds of things at their current leader.
Though the leader was wearing the Branwen Helm it was apparent that she was panicking.
"You are lying bitch!" All started to yell at her for her incompetence panicking and terrified at their situation.
Raven watched as she was belittled by those, she was supposed to get respect from and smiled. "This what you wanted?" She asked while glancing next to her.
Cher appeared and giggled. "Oh, this is so much better than I expected, look at her, she looks like she wants to fetal back in forth without the ice in the way."
Raven found that a little sadistic though she couldn't blame her and besides she enjoyed it herself.
Vernal tried to break free from the ice but couldn't, she was too weak. She couldn't break out, even if she could she doubted that she can. She looked at Raven's face who was smirking at the sight. She was terrified, she can imagine her own death looking at her eyes.
She had told Kron where to find her daughter.
She cannot tell her that!
"Raven about what I did" Vernal began. "I had to do it, you have to understand, I only did what you taught me!"
Raven didn't respond which made Vernal more stressed.
"You always said that it was important to cut my losses when the risk outweighed the reward! To show no mercy to ensure survival!"
The Spring Maiden listened to her pleas though paid them no mind while Cher giggled at her side.
"Raven!"
The previous leader glanced at one of the tribesmen.
"I" He said slowly. "I always preferred it when you were in charge!"
Raven didn't respond to that while Vernal was angry.
"Me to!"
"Vernal lead the tribe to die!" Another yelled, the one that called her 'has been'. "Free us and we'll execute her for you!"
"Free us and you can lead us again! We need you!"
Raven heard her former men and new members she never met all beg her to release them.
"So pathetic." She said in a vicious tone. "I can't believe I lead you, my father must be rolling in his grave now, seeing all of you cower at my feet."
Her men all looked terrified.
Vernal looked at Raven and shook.
"Raven please, let us go, we'll give you what you want, just please." She started to beg. "Please! I'm sorry it was Kron's fault we were terrified of him and you kept protecting him!" She reasoned. "Please!"
Raven can see the fear on her face, it reminded her how they first met scared and in hiding.
"Such a little bitch!" Cher said at Raven's side.
Raven was inclined to agree but now it was time for business.
"Vernal, I notice that I can no longer detect my link to you, and Kron's as well." She said to her. "Seeing as though you're not dead, that must mean Kron isn't either, so tell me, what did you do to deactivate my Semblance?"
Vernal can see no way to lie her way out of this, Raven knows her too well. She'll speak truthfully for now, her men seem to be smart enough not to say anything about her daughter.
"I, I had found someone able to undo Semblances not long before you woke up."
Raven nodded that confirmed her suspicions and looked at her men. "Which of you deactivated my Semblance."
Scared for his life the individual with green hair rose his hand.
"I- I did ma'am."
"And you are?" She asked not recognizing her from when she led.
"Rick" He said nervously. "Rick Lime ma'am."
Raven nodded as she said this and looked at Vernal.
"So, Kron had you undo my Semblance and that was why he spared you?"
"Y-yes" Vernal agreed right away. "He was going to kill all of us if we didn't tell him where you were, so I offered him something he couldn't refuse."
She lied through her teeth, but she hid her tells well, that hopefully even she wouldn't be able to tell.
Raven looked at her and detected no deceit only fear of her. Sounds plausible, Kron would want her link to vanish to avoid being able to be seen coming.
The long black-haired woman looked at her former men.
Vernal had them leashed well they were not going to talk easy.
"Before I take you to my partner, I'm going to need you to really tell me everything."
"W-we told you." Vernal said terrified at what she was going to do.
"I'm sure you did." Raven said looking at her former men. "First let's go somewhere more secluded, then we'll begin the real talk."
With great speed Raven knocked out each member of the tribe including Vernal.
Now that they were all incapacitated Raven can take them somewhere to take care of everything.
But before she could her scroll vibrated.
She sighed and took it out and answered.
"What is it Sienna?"
"Have you taken care of them yet?"
"Not yet, they're hiding something from me, and I need to find out what before then, why, is this about Taiyang and Qrow escaping."
"No" Sienna replied. "There was a situation with Grimm that gave them an opportunity to escape, I apologize but I needed to protect my men."
Raven sighed, she was hoping to keep them around until she could persuade them to help. "It's fine Sienna, it couldn't be helped, now what is this about."
"Jade's Jar" Sienna responded. "We find all the scriptures, we now know how to make it work."
Raven's eyes widened as she sheathed her blade.
"Really?" She couldn't believe her luck, she thought she might have to give up on it and find an opprotunity. "So, what do we need?"
"First we'll need sacrifices, then we have to do a ritual."
"There are steps to it?" Raven asked clearly annoyed.
She supposed that made sense, this Artifact was supposed to be one of the most powerful that was ever created.
"Yes, do not worry the ritual is easy to do, we just need sacrifices, I will not give up any of my men." Sienna had said. "However I think you can agree that no one would miss your tribe correct?"
Raven's eyes widened at that request and looked at her tribe. She smiled at the thought the family that abandoned her will in the end help her handle her greatest problem, as they should have.
"Yes" She replied. "I'm going to bring them to a cave, I will send you the coordinates to pick them up, in the meantime I will find out what they are hiding."
"Very well, Raven, see you soon."
Raven hung up her scroll and looked at her prisoners, she rather find out what they know before Sienna picked them up, so she better hurry and get them somewhere secure.
With a wave of her hand, she was using her magic to create wind to lift them up, and took them to follow her some unknown location.
Where she can begin her interrogation.
Emerald Forest
Yang was covered in sweat doing her own training in the Emerald Forest, all around her were destroyed trees and shattered rock all over the ground.
She panted heavily covered in sweat, even though she wasn't training with Kron's supervision she's been able to become more used to Ki.
Her flying has been improving and she made her own Ki attack.
It exhausted her to no end, but it'll be used to in her fight against Kron.
Not that she can do it, he had beaten her dad and Qrow by himself who seemed way stronger than she remembered.
She knows she couldn't beat one of them, how can she expect to beat Kron?
She shook her head, doesn't matter, she'll train regardless. Whatever happens she'll see this to the end.
Yang looked to her side and frowned seeing no one.
Why was she expecting him to be here? She told him she wanted to train alone.
She sighed and started shadowboxing.
"Yang"
Yang stopped mid punch and turned to see Blake.
"Hey, can we talk?" The Cat Faunus asked.
Yang smiled and sat down while looking at her. "Sure, what is it."
Blake looked all around her and looked at her teammate. "You've been busy."
"Yeah" Yang said exhausted. "I've been following the drills that he gave me, they've been working I think." She said flexing her arm. "I'm becoming more badass by the day."
Blake can tell that Yang's smile was a front to cover for what was happening. She kept a blank expression.
"Are you really doing alright?"
Yang can tell that she wasn't going to drop it and answered honestly.
"I think I'm doing alright." She sighed. "I just, wish things weren't so complicated."
Blake nodded. "Kron wishes he didn't do it y ' know"
"I know" Yang said with a frown. "I know why he did it, and I know he's not that bad of a guy." She sighed while squeezing her fists. "I don't want to be so angry at him, but I just am." She's always had anger issues since she was a kid.
Funny enough so does Kron, strange how much they have in common despite her being the daughter of his greatest enemy.
"At first I hated him and only wanted to save my mom from him, but then after everything, getting to know him seeing him as a friend, I felt like he hid the fact he tried to kill my uncle from me on purpose." She said to him. "Like he was tricking me."
Blake nodded. "I know the feeling Yang he did the same to me back at Menagerie." She said thinking of her situation back home. "I thought had tricked my family to."
Yang shook her head. "Yeah, but Raven caused it all with you and you didn't know." She said to her. "Meanwhile I know why he did it and I still couldn't get over it."
She wanted to forgive him, wanted to go back to being on good terms with him. But she couldn't.
Blake smiled and shook her head. "Actually, after finding out about Raven, I didn't exactly forgive him either, took me a while to accept what he did, so I can't fault you for feeling that way."
Yang didn't exactly feel any better hearing that, she still couldn't help but be angry at him even after hearing him out. It mostly came from how he hid something important from her.
"But y' know Yang, Kron's done a lot of good, he protected me and Weiss from that Bertilak guy, he saved Vale from the White Fang, and he's been making you stronger since he got here." Blake said to her.
Yang can see her point how Kron had been doing good for them, despite how he confronted her team when they met.
"And Kron isn't the type to hide his crimes." Blake continued. "You know he still blames himself for what happened in the Menagerie incident, he doesn't try to blame Raven for what he did, I think maybe he just didn't know how to tell you."
The blonde looked at her strangely. "What do you mean?"
"I think Kron's always been alone that friends and family were a concept he didn't understand." She explained. "Kron's been on his own ever since he was a kid, so I think he didn't see the point in telling you."
Yang looked away absorbing this info. It made sense, he never talked about him home, never talked about any specific person in the Branwen Tribe except for Raven and her side kick Vernal.
"You have a right to be angry at Kron because he should have told you, but I think your letting your anger cloud your judgement." She said to him. "He has that issue to you know?"
The blonde sighed hearing that and scratched her hair.
"Maybe I haven't really thought of what he's been through with my mom." She said to her. "Still, he tried to kill my uncle, I don't know if I can just forgive him."
"I get it, I haven't forgiven Kron for the longest time before I saw him again." Blake remembered when she and Kron had their long talk. "And for a while I feared that one day he'd become like Adam, someone who's blinded by hate and can do nothing but hurt people."
She smiled when she thought of her findings.
"But he's proven me wrong." She said to her. "He's done nothing but good for a while, its up to you if you want to accept him Yang, I'm just letting you know my two cents, like you did with him about my mom."
Yang looked surprised and looked at her partner. "He told you about that?"
"No, but I figured it out when you asked me about my mom and him." She hoped that it would motivate him to see her again and have closure. "Thank you for that."
Yang didn't respond but nodded. She wanted to say that to him after all she knew what it was like to have a mother that didn't want you and one that did.
Blake stood up and started to walk away to leave Yang to her training.
The Cat Faunus turned to Yang. "You know Yang, when Ozpin told us his plan to steer Kron in the right direction, he told me that I was the key to it being a success." She smiled. "But I think maybe you were also essential in making Kron better to."
Yang said nothing as Blake walked away and looked down at her lap.
Now she was starting to feel guilt, she still felt angry at Kron but after being reminded of all he's done and knowing how he was slowly becoming better she thought of how she treated him.
While Qrow didn't deserve it, she can see why, Raven had caused him pain in the worse way, and he had no way of knowing she was anything different.
Not to mention how he thought she was no different because of what she had done.
It would be unfair to blame Raven for everything Kron did, but she knew it was unfair to leave it out to.
She shook her head and stood, first she'll train then she'll revaluate what to do about Kron.
Anima
Hours passed, Vernal awoke somewhere dark, she looked down to see that she was still trapped in ice.
As did the other members of the tribe.
"So glad none of you died of hypothermia." Raven said sitting in front of her trapped former tribe. "Now you can answer my question, what are you lot hiding."
Vernal wearing the Branwen helm glanced at other members of her tribe, silently letting them know that if they talk, they all die not to their leader but to Raven.
They knew that already, if they say anything regarding what else they told Kron. They knew if they told her everything, it would be over for them.
Which Vernal was grateful for.
"Please free us!" One of them yelled. "Take the Branwen Helm and lead us as is your right!"
"What he said! Your the true leader of the tribe.
Raven scoffed hearing that and shook her head. "Kron was right, our tribe is just a bunch of cowards, isn't it?"
They continued to beg for their freedom and her leadership.
"Raven"
The previous leader looked at her predecessor who even behind the helmet showed her fear.
"Please, if you lead us, I swear, I will follow every order, I will do the grunt work!" She yelled. "Y-you can lock me up in a cage for as long as you deem fit, just please, please let us go!"
Raven didn't respond to that and looked around at the men in front of her. Each of them must know something Vernal doesn't want her to know.
She looked at Rick Lime and a couple that Vernal had recruited.
"You, you, and you." She pointed at the three who were never under her command. "You will be free to go."
The three looked surprised hearing that. Rick had smiled and spoke. "R-really?"
"Rick, the fuck ar-"
Raven glared at the one who shouted that, and he was silent. She then focused back on the three.
"Yes, you did not betray me, so you three will be free to go." Raven said to the trio. "They on the other hand, need to face retribution."
The trio all nodded excited at being spared.
The others all begged to be released as well.
"All you have to do is tell me one thing."
Vernal's eyes widened behind the helmet.
"What is Vernal hiding."
Rick looked terrified hearing that and didn't want to tell her.
"I uh"
Vernal was about to speak but Raven beat her to it.
"If you don't tell me, you will join them in the torture I have planned."
Rick immediately gave in despite the protests of his 'kin'.
"They told him about your daughter."
After he had said that silence had surrounded them.
Vernal looked blue in the face as did the rest of her men, they were scared to find out how their former leader would react.
Rick looked at Raven nervously.
"M-ma'am?"
Raven had a blank face, her hair seemed to cover her eyes and she gave no reaction to this.
"N-now that we told you, can you let us out."
Raven ignored what he said and turned to Vernal.
"Raven" Vernal said as her teacher put a hand on her face.
Raven's hand coated in fire burning Vernal's face.
"Ahhhh!" Vernal screamed as her flesh started to burn.
After she was done burning she looked at Raven's face.
And it looked more terrifying than anything, it seemed as terrifying as she believed Salem would've been.
The current Maiden glared into her soul.
"How did you find out about my daughter?" She said in an emotionless tone. "Talk"
Vernal shook in her grip.
"I-I had to tell him something to make him leave!" She yelled in pain while she burned. "H-he would have killed us all!"
Raven pulled her hand back and focused on her links. She can feel Taiyang and Qrow in the direction at Vale. And Yang's as well not far from either of them.
None of them were in a fatal state, they seemed ok. Perfectly healthy.
Has he not found her yet?! After months? No not possible. Maybe he gave up and move on?
That doesn't sound like Kron, he was stubborn and head strong. If it meant getting to her he wouldn't just give up.
Raven turned to Branwen Tribe and glared at them monstrously.
"We'll talk later, in the meantime, stay here." She instructed.
"Wait, we had a d-" Rick shouted before his whole body became trapped in ice as did the rest of the Branwen Tribe.
The poor idiot didn't understand that Raven wasn't the type to keep her promises
Vernal looked terrified and yelled. "Wait stop please! You can-" She was also trapped in ice mid scream.
Once that was done Raven turned and slashed in front of her opening a portal, a small one that would be unnoticeable.
Raven turned into an actual raven and flew through the portal, leaving behind her tribe trapped in ice and unable to move.
Outside Dead End Arena
Yang sighed as she left Dead-End Arena. Felt nice beating down a few of her challengers.
Now she had a clear head, she had a look of apprehension and looked at her scroll.
A contact that read Caveman.
She looked sad seeing it.
She thought of her talk with Blake and everything that happened.
Kron was fun to be around, sure he can be a grouch but training with him, all the fights she experienced from him, his lessons were fun to do. At first, she wasn't fond of being around him but in time she had fun being around him.
She had still saw him as someone to save her mother from but after finding out what she did.
Not to mention he had saved Blake and Weiss, proving that he wasn't so bad.
And then her uncle and father showed up, exposing something she didn't know about Kron that she thought he kept secret.
Kron hadn't told her what happened with Qrow and started to act like a friend.
That made her feel betrayed that she was being fooled into befriending someone who secretly threatened someone close to her. But Blake was right he had no intention to hide it, for whatever reason he didn't think it was important to mention. He's not the type to do that.
Not to mention after what he went through because of her mother it would make sense why he wouldn't trust him.
She sighed as she pressed call on her scroll.
At Kron's house that he was staying at the scroll would ring, little did she know he left it behind while he trained.
Damn it, she was going to have to find him to move on from this mess and hopefully make amends. If he can forgive her that is.
While she was thinking of her situation with Kron a bird flew behind her.
Blake probably knows where he's staying at, didn't Weiss say she had acsess to her tracker.
"Yang" A mature women's voice said from behind that.
This made Yang jump and turn with her fists up. She didn't recognize the voice, but once she got a look at who was behind her her jaw hit the ground.
It was a woman she recognized in pictures, the long black hair, the red eyes, and even the outfit.
Was this some sort of trick? Why was she here? What is going on?
Raven stood in front of her daughter looking her up and down. It had been years since the last time she observed her as a bird. Wanting to see her daughter grow up despite not raising her alongside Taiyang.
"Yang, we need to talk."
Mother and daughter had finally met.
Raven has finally been reunited with his daughter.
What will Yang do? Will Raven find out what she's been doing with Kron?
What of Kron? Will he be around to see his most hated enemy?
Find out next time on One's Own Path!
Alright, we are finally here. This was the part I wanted to get to before I go on my next break.
Sorry guys I hate to take a break and leave u on this cliffhanger but theres three reasons I'm going to do it.
1. I need to take care of some responsibilities in my own life.
2. When I come back I want to add until I wrap up the current arc
3. I want to plan out the next chapters just right before writing again.
When I come back I am going to add weekly again until we end the current arc and go on hiatus.
Hope u guys understand and can wait a bit, I don't know when I will be back but I will not come back until I am happy with whatever I decide to do.
But listen, if u want, share any ideas for the final chapters. I can't promise I'll do all of them, but I will take them into consideration and I will credit any ideas I use. PM me or review your ideas if u have any if not, I hope you'll enjoy what I write regaurdless.
Also btw, I have one question for u guys that I've been thinking about.
If Kron stayed on Planet Vegeta until he was 17 the age he is now how strong would he be?
Personally I say he'd be stronger than Kron is currently, strong enough to handle all of Remnant since he's endured 10x Earth's gravity for far longer, but he wouldn't be as good of a fighter and likely wastes his energy and get himself killed before he could finish the job.
Let me know your answers in the reviews it's just soemthing I thought about and wonder how strong he would be.
Also one more thing.
I am going to try to post the next chapter of One's Many Paths during my break. It's been over a month since I updated it. I'm sorry for leaving it hanging for so long I just been busy juggling, my job, friends, family, personal responcibilities and adding to this story. So real sorry for not updating it I will get to work on the option that one and type in the summary when I will add soon.
Hope u guys are ok with that.
Anyway hope u liked this chapter and see u in the next!
Review Responces.
Guest: Thank u for letting me know my mistake, I just fixed it.
To answer your question, it's called a beta reader, I used to have one but he hasn't responded for a while so I will start looking for a new one.
I apologize for my error and will try to avoid any in the future.
Robin321: Ooh, that's a new question. I'll say this, later then when OG dragon ball started. That's all I'm saying nothing more.
AlejandroDiaz: Lol! Dude, that idea is already in the works. Yes in time RWBY characters with Ki mixed with Aura is going to give them transformations. Already had the idea but still very good idea, hope u look forward to it.
GrimBlader2186: Don't see why not, just give it time.
ThatSaiyaGuy: Thank you. I thought of having Yang move on and accept what Kron did, I just don't see it happening since she cares so much for her family, on top of it she has the biggest temper among all her peers. Plus when u think about it, Kron did technichally hide it from her even when they had their bond, so I don't think it would've been realistic for her to understand and forgive right away and decided it needed more time before she was ready to move on. Yeah, it's Kron's nature as a Saiyan, his mindset is telling him that it's a good thing that Yang hates him, it will make her fiht harder and that's all he needs. But he'll be back on track soon, at least he's not going back to how he was originally, that'd be way worse.
Yeah your right, he will, he's been enjoying his new life with others too much to give up on it. The climax is on the horizon as you can see so hopefully everything is settled after all this. Funny thing is I thought of having Ozpin be forward and tell Qrow and Tai about the deal with Kron but after talking with a few friends we all agreed that he would keep it secret thinking it was the best option he could take. Which at this point is how Ozpin thinks, he will not tell the truth unless he has no other choice.
And yeah you were right Blake found otu and pretty much confirming that she and her mother were right about Kron. Yeah, now she just has to make sure Kron knows that no matter what she and her mother will have his back, wheather he likes it or not.
Yeah, it's like the old saying it's lonely at the top. Don't worry though, Kron will find his motivation to train and plenty of people to fight, just needs a little bit of time. If another Saiyan his age shows up that could be a problem for him if they've been world conquering.
Lol, that's a fun thought, but yeah it won't happen anytime soon since I don't see Kron winning that fight depending how old the Saiyan is and if they grew up on Planet Vegeta.
Yep both parties know Kron is looking for Vale as u can see. Raven cheats though she has a portal to her. After the climax Kron will make have a lot of free time who knows what he'll be up to. He knows he can't leave Remnant yet like he plans since his Power Level isn't at a recomended level to leave. Yeah Blake has gotten really loyal to Kron, now more loyal since she found out what he's been doing.
Hope this chapter was worth the wait.
NinjaGogeta: Lol, I mean he does have a temper so I get ya.
Zarbapha: First of all welcome to my story I am sorry about the errors u found I'll look into them as well as see if I can improve the dialagoue.
In regards to your responce to my A/N.
If you really think my reading doesn't need justification than you can skip the A/N's cause I do that in every chapter, I do that cause the DBZ community cares about powerscaling I didn't mean it to come across as pleading.
PlayboyK: Ok, I thought that was what u were hoping for so I thought i should let u know. Also Kron hasn't been a typical Saiyan for a long time, also, nothing really says Saiyans can't feel guilt, plus u can argue that even Vegeta felt guilt in the Moro arc about the namekiens, and Vegeta was especially cruel even compared to his own kind, Kron while he had been evil wasn't as cruel at Vegeta's worst and in the end it's up to interpretation. Even if they can't feel guilt in canon, in this story it's nothing new. He's felt guilt since Ch. 20 about the Menagerie incident, this is just a repeat, the only thing that's different is he's not leaving those he wronged. If he didn't feel guilty it'd be out of character, I hope u can enjoy the story for what it is even if you have some issues with it.
onyxjubes: In Ch 20 Kron knew Kali almost a month and he cared about her. Kron knew Yang for months.
Eddyg125: I just couldn't see Yang wanting to continue train with Kron after finding out what he did. If it makes u feel any better Kron will go back to training after this arc ends. I think Saiyans naturally care more about fighting then training depending on the Saiyan and their situation. In Kron's case, he found out he overtrained for his fight with Raven and has no one to fight, no one to train for. But soon he's going to have motivation to train I promise.
The Last Wither: Well hope your atleast enjoying the story.
keybladelight: Basically the Branwen Tribe are over.
Yeah, but don't worry, everything will be back on track soon.
That sounds like a great idea, I like it, it can fit, Blake has proven loyal enough anyway.
Yeah at this point Ozpin is still lying through his teeth. Don't worry Kron's redemption arc is continuing. While I am willing to write Saiyans going through emotions I don't see them crying over much but we'll see. He's going to be happy when he sees Kali again I can promise that. Also yeah that sounds really sweet hope u look forward to his reunion.
Bashleyz: Thank u.
Guest: Aw, thank u
Lelouch of Zero: Yeah, that's also the effects of the Void Vault and a result of Ozpin lying over and over again. Yep, just wait till Ironwood finds out what's been happening Ozpin's going to go through a fun time. Well now Blake can believe in him again like she should. Yeah Ozpin might want to explain himself before Kron finds out, he got lucky when he found out his other lie. And yeah, Kron's not the monster he used to be, sometimes he wishes he was, but now he has feelings that he does not like. Thank u I hope u enjoyed this chapter as well.
Guest: Kron has indeed been through a lot thanks to Raven and her tribe, so yeah, Kron's explosive reaction makes sense.
Ideas: That's a good point, Qrow could've explained, but I think he would assume that no one would be able to figure out his Semblance, unfortunately for him Kron's gotten good at it.
So about Maidens, so the show never tells us how strong Maidens are compared to Salem, so I decided to expand on it differently then in the show. I may stick with a good amount of the Source material but I will deviate if I can make the story more interesting. How Maidens stack up to Ozma and Salem will be explained in the coming chapters.
Also about your ideas on Salem, did you not telll me this before? Or is it someone who thought like u, sorry if your not, I just want to be clear on that.
Ruenion: Well Penny tried it did not end well.
Also lol maybe who knows lol, Now that Blake helped let's see where this goes
James is Bored: Thank u
ForeverTruthful95: Raven just might we'll see, she's going to make them pay for everything.
You might like how the Branwen Tribe dies.
Kensanders: The rift is starting to close, but yeah Kron is getting to that mindset.
Well Ki sensing isn't a thing yet but good thinking. And yeah, one of them might find out what Ozpin's been doing.
It's kinda how it goes given how Ozpin handles things, Ironwood is going to be fun.
halo 69: Yep but Yang and Kron are getting there, Yang just needed time.
Oh Vernal is done for, she has no hope.
Well she's alone with Yang and doesn't know if she left yet. Raven with the Maiden boost is comparable to Salem herself. Eclipse is between Fully Realized and Salem, at least the last time he fought.
triscythe59: Whoah there, slow down lol, we'll get there but we're not anywhere close to it just be patient.
Ok guys, guess that's it.
I hope at least most of u enjoyed the chapter, for those that didn't thank u for giving my story a try anyway.
Have an awesome day! :)
