"Sukuna landed on a mine while having his legs reinforced with Cursed Energy and he propelled himself forward.

'How?! this is an obstacle that puts those at the lead at a disadvantage, yet he used the explosions to his advantage'
Todoroki uses his quirk to freeze the mines and Bakugo was neck and neck and they are catching up to Sukuna.

"OHHH! There is a huge explosion in the back,"

Sukuna heals deku. Then Shoto and Bakugo who refused to be healed up by him.

"Well, I used it to launch myself using some of the mines that I dug up to create a huge explosion to gain some momentum.
"What about your landing? I doubt that you'd be able to clear the entire minefield. "
" I was going to land on Kacchan and todoroki shoulders and tried to swing my shield on the ground to blow Kacchan and Todoroki away so that I could catch up to you."
"But I blew up everything in front of you causing all three of you to be blown back."
"Yep, What was that by the way? what did you do Ryoumen-san?"
"I touched my palm on the ground and visiolised in my mind a spiderweb and released cleaved in the shape of a spiders web, attacking a larged area around me. To be honest I didn't think it would blow me away in the right trajectory."
Midoriya was still sad that he didn't won though.
"Hey, turn that frown upside-down. I'll admit you bakugo and todoroki forced me to used cleave to make sure i win. And besides I think the world saw your play using the shield."
