Chapter 4

Year 776

We see our protagonist Naruto in a wagon going towards Era, council of Magic but he is not alone, With him were guild master Makarov Dreyar and his grandson/apprentice Laxus Dreyar.

"So, master why did you say we have to go to Era for a meeting? Do you know the reason for it" said Naruto, hearing this Laxus also leaned forward interested in hearing the reason for the sudden meeting.

"It, is nothing major but just a regular meeting of wizard saints and gods of Ishgar but the reason for both of you to come is a different matter, as today all the members who have taken students are bringing them for introduction, so Warrod and I thought It is good for both of you to meet other apprentices of a saint, who are equally or even more powerful than you both," said Makarov

"So, we going to meet more strong wizards are age. So cool," said Naruto

"As if, even if they are students to other saints. I bet I can beat them in a heartbeat as I did with this shrimp, a few months back" said Laxus arrogantly

"Hey, that was a one-time thing and I nearly had you, I just ran out of magic at my last spell," said Naruto pouting a little

"Now, that enough of your rivalry, no fighting here and Laxus, not everyone is weaker than as I have heard many current apprentices, who might be even stronger than you and keep in mind to respect them and make good relations with them, as these apprentices will succeed current saints and maybe even current gods of Ishgar. As the same is expected from both of you, as Naruto being a student to Warrod Sama and Laxus being my student," said Makarov

Hearing this both turned toward each other and both had a dark grin on their faces

"Let's see who will have a higher position among us in the future Laxus," said Naruto with a fist toward Laxus

"Hn, its obviously me," said Laxus also with his fist toward Naruto as both fist pump

Seeing the scene Makarov smiled and thought that when Naruto met his grandson, it was like a spark between them. Which led to their current rivalry and his darkness-consumed grandson getting better.

Council Era

As the three entered the meeting hall, Makarov went toward his seat, and Laxus followed him but Naruto turned to see all the people in the room scanning over them, as he saw his grandfather and went toward his seat and then stood behind him.

"Now as all the members have arrived, let us proceed with the current agenda. Next generation, so now why don't we introduce the current apprentices." Said Hyberion

"I Might Guy, youthful S class mage of Quatro Cerberus and current holder of 10th seats in Wizard Saint introduce my youthful apprentice Lee user of 8 gates secret art magic," said a green spandex-wearing guy, with a nice guy pose, which led to some guards in the background losing consciousness.

"I Van Hohenheim, current holder of 9th seat, introduce my apprentice Gaara Sabaku user of magnet and earth magic," said a tall figure with long blond hair reaching near his head

"I Shikaku Nara, the current holder of the 8th seat, introduce my apprentice Shikamaru Nara user of shadow and darkness magic," said a dark-haired man with a pineapple shape hairstyle

"I Jose, current holder of 7th seat, introduce my apprentices Aria user of wind Zetsu magic, and Totomaru user of rainbow fire magic," said a dark-haired guy looking like a clown

"I Makarov Dreyar current holder of the 6th seat, introduce my apprentice Laxus Dreyar user of lightning magic and lightning dragon slayer magic of the second generation," said a short man with a half-bald head

"I Ohnoki, current holder of 5th seat, introduce my apprentice Kurotsuchi user of Lava magic and particle magic" again said a short man with half bold head

"I Barakiel, the current holder of the 4th seat, introduce my apprentices Akeno user thunder magic and dark angel magic," said a tall mysterious guy

"I Akira, the current holder of the 3rd seat, introduce my apprentice Temari user of wind god slayer magic and battle fan wind magic," said a blond-haired woman

"I Madara Uchiha, current holder of 2nd seat, introduce my apprentices Sasuke Uchiha user of devil eye and fire magic, and Itachi Uchiha user of devil eye, fire magic, and illusion make," said a (we all know who) red eye guy with black hair

"I Hashirama Senju, current holder of 1st seat, with no current apprentice. Now, as the introductions are done, we should move to the next arrangement of today" said Hashirama, avoiding his best friend and rival Madara's eyes on him, he could feel the smugness on his face

"Wait, Hashirama-San, I think you forgot one apprentice," said Warrod

"Who, Warrod Sama," asked Jose with well-hidden contempt

"Mine, I Warrod Sequen current holder of the 4th seat of god of Ishgar, introduce my apprentice Naruto Sequen user of lost magic Gaia's ascendance and water dragon slayer magic," said Warrod

Hearing this many people were stunned as they had heard Warrod had taken an apprentice, but they did not think it was true till now, and even possessing two lost magic was also a big deal at the age of 13.

"So, Warrod Sama, the rumours about you taking an apprentice are true, if I may be bold enough to ask what did this kid have that made to take him as an apprentice" asked Barakiel examining Naruto with his eyes but also scanning his magic and he was a little impressed with what he sensed

"No, it is not rude Barakiel Dono but the reason for me taking him as an apprentice is simple. I am getting too old to continue like this, so I wanted to pass my knowledge to the next generation and prepare someone to take my position or surpass me, and reason I took young Naruto is simple he is my dear grandson, I had a daughter few decades ago who I kept in secret because of my enemies and after she married and birthed my grandson both of them were killed by zeref devotee and some demons, which led me adopting him and training him to take care of himself and also as you can see he is a member of my old guild fairy tail" said Warrod

After hearing this many people had a content smile on their faces, as they were satisfied with the answer but out of all 14 saints some of them did not share these desires.

"Damn, that old fossil giving such a treasure like a student of an god of Ishgar to a weak guild like a fairy tail, increasing its fame more but no worry I will make sure to humiliate that kid before the meeting end and show how not even a kid of high potential is a nothing but weakling in front of the phantom lord," thought Jose seething at the sight of Makarov and Warrod

"He is hiding something; he didn't tell the whole story." Thought Shikaku and Barakiel with little narrowed eyes

"Kid looks good-hearted and strong maybe he will be able to help Gaara show emotions," thought Van Hohenheim as he looked at his apprentice

"Oh man, Warrod also has an apprentice now, and Madara is so smug about his grandsons, why can't Tsunade become my apprentice even if she is 30 years old, she could still learn my magic if she ever leaves those habits of hers, who am I kidding she will never leave them, I will die without passing my knowledge," thought Hashirama

"Kid looks strong with decent magic potential; how will he stand against Sasuke or Itachi I wonder" thought Madara

But these were not the only people thinking about Naruto, even among apprentices some were looking at him

"He is so cute, are those whiskers real" thought a small raven-haired girl standing near Barakiel with a hand on her chin looking extremely cute

"Hmm, he doesn't look much," thought Temari and kurotsuchi

"His, flames of youth are burning brightly, maybe he will be my eternal rival," thought Lee

"I will crush him for you Mother" thought Gaara with a little raccoon made of sand on his shoulder

"He looks weak what so special about him, he is nothing compared to my demon eyes magic, I will crush him," thought a kid with raven hair styled as a duck bud glaring with his eyes active at Naruto

Naruto was scanning the room looking at the people and checking the levels of his future rivals, as he saw most of the room looking at him, he decided to put on a show as he released the lock on his reserves letting everyone know, he was not just talk and good looks.

As the pressure was released, all eyes towards him became more intense with some people's eyes bugging a little and some kids of his age showed a little excitement at the prospect of a good competition.

As to show the proof that they were not intimated by him many of the kids started releasing their hold on their magic to show who was dominating.

But before it could escalate a pressure was released which overthrew all the other pressure and dominated it, when all the kids turned towards it, they saw Madara looking at all with a serious face.

"That is enough, you all no more releasing pressure here. Now you leave and wait for us to end the meeting."

All the kids left the room and moved to the waiting area to wait for the meeting to be over and get to know each other better.

Waiting room

As everyone settled Naruto and Laxus were sitting together with Itachi, Shikamaru, and Akeno

On the other side kurotsuchi, Temari was sitting, and on a nearby table were Totomaru and Aria

On different corners of the room and away from everyone gaara was seating

As Naruto was about to start a conversation to stop the awkward silence he was cut off by a green-blue who appeared in front of him and spoke

"Hi, my name is Rock Lee, self-proclaimed junior green beast and I want to challenge you to a fight"

"Um, sorry but I don't want to fight now, so why don't you fight someone else," said Naruto

Before Lee could say anything, he was interrupted by an arrogant laugh as Aria and Totomaru also came toward their table.

"One weakling fighting another weakling, what funny scene," said Totamaru

But rather than Naruto, Akeno retorted "But you and that eye bandage creep are not fighting and I only saw you both weak and fragile kids here"

Hearing this many started to laugh but Totamaru was not having it, as he used his magic to summon a yellow fireball in his hand and fired it at her, but before it could reach, it was intercepted by a water spell from Naruto who stood in front of Akeno, with his hand raised

"Now now, it is not nice to attack a beautiful lady like that. U need to be taught some manners," said Naruto

"ara-ara, Naruto-kun, I didn't know you were such a prince charming," said Akeno with both hands on her cheeks "But, u didn't need to interfere a simple spell like that wouldn't even have damaged me"

"I know, but I can't let a beautiful face like yours defend herself, as it would be an insult to my honour as a male to just stand there and let it happen," said Naruto

As both Akeno and Naruto continued this playful banter for a little longer but were distracted by Aria who also joined with Totomaru and started using a combined spell to attack the flirting duo.

As the attack went towards them, it was intercepted by a wind attack, which canceled the attack, as another blond figure stood between them.

Before both phantom mages could gather their thought again, they were sent flying to the wall and landed unconscious on the floor, as another dark-haired girl who was wearing a red qipao came from behind them.

"Will you guys now be sit down quietly and stop disturbing us" said Temari

"Hey, don't yell at us it wasn't our fault they started it" said Naruto

But before it could escalate a dark duck butt hair style brooder came forward and gave a cocky smirk to all, as he turned towards the downed mages and said in a mocking tone

"Weaklings, you both got beaten by 3 females and a wanna-be second-grade water mage, how shameful"

Hearing this Naruto saw red as he went to attack Sasuke but was intercepted by lee and shikamaru

But before it could escalate Sasuke was hit in the head and was rendered unconscious and taken on the shoulders of another raven-haired guy with tears lines near his nose.

"Sorry for my brothers, rude behavior. He does not understand when to keep his mouth shut," said Itachi

"Oh, no worry then but make sure he doesn't speak like this again or next time maybe there won't be people to stop me from beating him," said Naruto

"I'll keep that in mind," said Itachi emotionlessly

After that, everyone got seated again but this time, they all were sitting together and sharing numbers.

After meeting ended

All the saints left the hall to take their ward so they could leave the palace.

As Warrod of the same mind was leaving with Makarov was stopped by Hashirama, as he approached them.

"Warrod-dono and Makarov-dono, I have an important topic to discuss with both of you"

"Yes, ashrama-dono, let's talk," said Warrod

"I want to talk about the magic of your pupil, I have some questions to ask about it, as you said his magic is Gaia's ascendance, so I want to ask if the magic only works in nature, or if he can control only flora like your magic or he can control specific parts of nature, as Nature is very versatile so what its magic limits be, is it complete attack based magic or can it be used for defines, healing or any other thing," asked an eager Hashirama

"Ah, so you are interested in my pupil's magic and to answer your question I will say that Naruto's magic can control nature and every part of it if it's related healing to or creating a forest, his magic is capable of it, as it can manipulate and form both flora and fauna of the natures and if to tell you Gaia's ascendance is a god magic, which can only be utilized because of mother nature Gaia's blessing," said Warrod

"Nice, so Warrod Sama, I have an offer to make as you may know none of my descendants have inherited my magic, or even none of the pupils, I have taught can utilize it, even Tsunade from whom I had high hopes for, that she could carry on my legacy, even if she could use my magic she was nearly as gifted as me in healing magic but after an incident now she became a drunkard and gambler, so after hearing the magic and sensing the emotions of young Naruto, I concluded that he might be able to take my magic and can utilize it with his magic. So, Warrod Sama pls allow me to train young Naruto for the next two to three years based on his performance, he would be able to learn the things I want to teach him in that amount of time." Said ashrama

"I think, this decision belongs in the hands of Naruto Hashirama Dono, as it's his life to decide," said Warrod

Before another thing could be said a voice came from behind "I accept, I will come with you to train and learn the magic I can from you," said Naruto

After that, everyone went toward their separate ways.

Time skips 2 and half years

Fairy Tail Guild Hall

Nothing much has changed in the past 2 years, since Naruto left for training with 1st seat of wizard saints, in this time some new members have joined the guild.

Currently, inside the guild a bar fight was happening, in these two figures stood out the most as they were the shortest there but still were breaking stuff left and right which most likely were twice their heights. These two figures were Grey Fullbuster and Natsu Dragoneel.

Natsu was a new edition to the guild joining around the year 777, when master Makarov found him crying in the jungle near Magnolia after his dragon father left him.

On the other side of the guild same thing was happening but with 2 girls, who were a few years older than the boys. One of the girls fighting was a white-haired girl wearing gothic-style clothing who was glaring at a girl with red hair with heart cruize armour.

As this was happening on the bar stool was seated Makarov, who was watching all this with a mug of bear in his hand.

Soon a serious expression came over his face as he felt a mid-S class magic signature, he readied himself for the upcoming person.

The blonde teenager sitting next to Makarov had a smirk on his face as he recognized the signature, he felt his rival.

Soon the doors of the guild were kicked in, and a figure came through it and stood there looking over the guild members, sometimes stopping his gaze on a few people, but soon his gaze was met by a blond teenager a few years his senior grinning at him, his face also developed a grin as magic started forming in his hands.

Feeling the magic some of the people in the guild get ready for an attack like Mirajane who readied an attack or Erza who took out her swords.

But before both could even move, they felt another magic rising, and compared to that of the stranger, when they turned toward it, they saw Laxus, grandson of Makarov and an S-class mage of the guild.

Before anything could happen both teens jumped toward each other and when their fists collided it sent shockwaves through the guild and the clock of the stranger was removed showing another blond-haired kid, a year or 2 older than Erza.

The whole guild was thinking about who this mysterious blond was who was able to match an attack from an S-class mage from their guild, but their answer came in a loud shout from the mentioned S-class mage.

"You have gotten stronger, to think you would be able to come near my power after the 2 years of training I did," said Laxus as both powered down

"NARUTO"

As all the kids were leaving, Naruto went somewhere else, as he reached the seat of the person, he touched his should and said something that made the whole room freeze

"Um, are you master Makarov's brother or something" asked Naruto

"No, I am not a brat why did you think that" said Ohnoki as all eyes were now on Naruto even Makarov

"Uhm, you both are really short, very old and both are half bald from the top," said Naruto

After hearing this everybody started laughing except two people that and bother were Makarov and Ohnoki who both were sulking in the corner muttering "The current generation, doesn't have respect for the old" and "I am not that old or short."

Soon the depression turned into rage as both turned toward Naruto with fury and started throwing dangerous spells at him for insulting them.

THE END

this chapter took time to make, thinking of all the characters for wizard saint position and their magics, is tuff.

I never liked how only it was mentioning wizard saints are strongest in the Fiore but not all them were ever shown in the series, or even good fights of them were drawn.
