9 Ladies Dancing
"A quilting circle? And Lizzy is going to be there?"
"Yeah, almost every lady in town is coming over today." Billy said. "Well, and Lizzy. So can I play with you so I don't have to be there?"
"Sure squirt." True replied, though she didn't have any plans to play. Lizzy was still trying to get Creed's attention even though he made it clear he is not interested.
Several hours later True and Billy snuck through the back door and into the kitchen of his house. "This isn't what I meant when I said I wanted to play." Billy whispered.
"Shhh." She pulled the two rats she had in her front overall pocket out and set them gently on the floor. "Ready my little friends?"
Billy watched in amazement when they gave a little nod and ran into the sitting room. He was still not used to seeing that!
They watched in delight as the 8 ladies (and Lizzy) began dancing around the room screaming. "I've never heard screaming like that!" Billy said as True rolled on the ground giggling like a mad woman. They were screaming so loud that neither Billy or True heard the back door open.
"I suspect you will hear something like it in just a minute."
Billy and True froze and shared a look before glancing up at Chris. "Uh oh."
Chris was not in the habit of being wrong and, much to the satisfaction of the ladies in the sitting room, the yelling they heard coming from the kitchen did in fact sound just like their own screams!
