6 Geese a Laying
"Vin Tanner! Why do I have six geese laying in my sitting room!" Nettie yelled.
True and Vin shared a look of terror before high tailing it inside. "Nettie! I didn't think you would be back yet!" Vin said.
"That doesn't answer my question boy!"
"Well we had a cold snap and True said the geese in your pond were cold." He gulped.
"We tried the barn, but they weren't getting along with the horses." True added.
"So we had to find another warm place to keep them." Vin finished.
"So you let her keep them in my SITTING ROOM!"
"It seemed like a good idea at the time."
"You two get these geese out of my house then both of you find a corner, NOW!"
That evening found True and Vin scrubbing the sitting room floor, both nursing sore backsides. "I am never letting you talk me into something like this again." Vin growled.
"Less talking and more scrubbing boy!"
