Gina's POV
We finally made it. That took long enough. I feel really bad that we ended up missing some of the Friday-only signature sessions, so that's less we can get for Emma, but hey, at least we're all here in one piece, right? That's what counts at the end of the day.
"I feel bad you weren't able to get some of the one-day only signatures for Em." Ashlyn says to me.
"Well hey, she'll be more happy with the fact that we all made it here in one piece." I reminded her.
"True."
"On that particular subject, however, we only have one day now. What are we going to do? Gina, are you sure you want to do this solo?" Nini asks me.
"I was sure about doing it on my own before, but honestly now, I'm not entirely sure, just because as you mentioned, we have less time now than we originally expected, and the more and more that I think about it, the more and more I see that this isn't a task just for me."
"What made you change your mind?" Ashlyn asks.
"I was willing to do it for myself because it's a surprise for my sister that's on the line here, so I was willing to do whatever was necessary in order to ensure she got it in full. However, I recgonize now that Emma's impacted all of us, in some sort of special and positive way, and I realize that this should've been a group effort from the start."
"That's nice Gina." Nini says with a smile.
"Okay, so now that everyone's going to be in on this and help out, what's the game plan?" Kourtney asks.
"I'm not entirely sure." I replied.
"Well we have to come up with something…" Ashlyn states.
"Agreed. We've come so far, and we're not going to hold onto her varsity jacket, that we promised would get signed to some degree, unsigned. There's just no way that it's not going to happen at this point, and there's nowhere that we're not going to get her something special, even more so than we've already done." Nini says, confidently.
"But the question is… how do we make it happen?" Kourtney asks.
"Your guess is as good as mine." Ashlyn replies.
Emma's sacrificed too much, for all of us. She's put herself on the line for us so that we can have a good time. Never once has she stopped to think about herself in any way, shape, or form, so we have to do something for her, no matter what…
Nini's on the phone with someone, and her face just lights up with a happiness I haven't seen from her since opening night…
"Nini, what is it?" Kourtney asks, curiously.
That's what we all want to ask right now.
"Emma's asking for our room number…"
Wait what…? Is Emma finally on her way here…?
