I live and I come with the next chapter of Hyperspaced to a New World. The Hearts Warming Eve chapter, now there is something i would like to address before beginning.

first, i made the decision to both summarize episodes and go out of order, the next chapter will be Cozy Glow's debut and Yuga meeting the CMC properly.

Second, I skipped over most of the stories here, yes they are important; but i don't want to overwhelm this chapter with too much information.

I will apologize for that, and now to the chapter.

Yuga sits in the School of Friendship, looking at the massive tree decorated in many colors and lights. It had been a few weeks since the school opened and everything had changed for the better. The first of many is that Spike the dragon finally gained wings. He showed them off at a Guy's Night afterwards, and Discord was definitely pleased to see their dungeon master growing up. And of course, Yuga had Discord help recharge and even remake many of the batteries. Process for the ship was coming along nicely. "I could be home before Christmas," Yuga said to Discord before remembering what he said. "As long as you remember what I told you little Yuga." So Yuga started to reduce how often he asked Discord to help with his ship and would still use his magic to continue rebuilding it up. It was when he saw the first snowfall, that he knew he wasn't going to be done by Christmas. "My first Christmas from home.. these creatures celebrated my birthday, maybe they will let me join in their holidays." His vision goes to a picture of him with the Young 6 celebrating Nightmare Night. He softly smiled as he saw Gallus walking to his ship. "Yuga, our favorite friendship monitor, you are not at the Hearts Warming's Eve party at the school?" Gallus asked as he saw Yuga's face drop. "Oh it's an Equestrian holiday; Twilight wanted to invite you to it. Didn't want you to be alone for the holidays, that's all." Gallus looked away as Yuga softly smiles. "I guess I can join you guys for the holidays. I mean they wanted to celebrate my birthday, so I can return the favor."

Which leads to Yuga looking at the tree and the many presents under the tree, it was similar to the holiday he celebrated back home before he saw a strange hooded figure entering the room and spreads a strange purple confetti over the flame on the top of the tree. Causing the tree and room to be covered in a sticky purple slime. No one was in the room except for Yuga as he was covered in the purple slime before shaking off most of it. "Great I will need to ask Rarity to help me with my jacket, but more importantly who is responsible for this mess?" Yuga asked as he saw the figure run out of the room with him following suit. The chase ended where the Young 6 were living at the school and Twilight came from behind Yuga. "What just happened Yuga? And why do you have purple slime on your jacket?" "Someone pulled a prank on the Hearts Warming's Eve tree and covered the entire tree and room in purple slime. The creature came this way, so I am afraid it was done by one of my friends here." Yuga said as he gestured to the Young 6 who looked both confused and scared by this statement.

"I am sorry to do this you guys, but somecreature has to come forward as the prankster or you will not be able to leave for your holidays. Yuga will be here to help with cleaning as he volunteered to keep an eye on you guys while we interview each of you one at a time." Twilight said as the Young 6 were back in the main room with the tree as Yuga hovers several mops, buckets, and wraps for them to use. Twilight and Rainbow taking Gallus out to ask if he did it. "I know this isn't how we planned to spend the holidays, but if I am here and am taking my time to help. We could get this cleaned up before your holidays or traditions. Plus, it's not like I am willingly missing my holiday traditions." Yuga said as he moved to start mopping up some of the purple slime. "What would you do during the holidays, Yuga?" The question from Sandbar made Yuga stop and look at the earth pony.

"What?" "Well, you are not from Equestria; so you have a different holiday than Hearts' Warming Eve. I was only curious, you don't have to answer right now." Sandbar explained while he moved to grab a mop and help. "I guess I should have seen that coming.. but no I don't celebrate Hearts' Warming Eve, but like how I said I did celebrate Nightmare Night under a different name. The baseline of the holiday is similar. At home, this holiday goes by the name Christmas; it's to celebrate wonder and give presents to loved ones." Yuga then sighs, "this will be both me and my mom's first Christmas alone. As we enjoyed our company together. I would normally make a gadget for my mom as my present to her and she would get me new equipment for me to use. I had the perfect gift planned this year too, it was a new doorbell that has a camera to show who is at the door before you open it. But I guess I will have to save it for later." Yuga sighed as he finished and tried to clean up the slime by him when he heard Silverstream react, "No one should be alone for any holiday." "I won't be this year, I'm just thinking that my mom will be alone; Dad's always working so for a long while, it was just me and mom. Can always just speak with Luna and ask for a small favor." Yuga whispered the final part as he looked to have an idea, while Twilight and Gallus returned. "Yuga, I will remind you that you are always welcome to join us for our holiday plans." Yuga softly smiles as he nods, he was debating whether he should or not. Until then, his mind was on helping the Student 6 with cleaning the room.

One by one, each member of the Student 6 were pulled aside and questioned while one other member talked about their holiday traditions. Yuga smiled when hearing his friends talking about their traditions, but one note caught his ear. It was after Silverstream's story of how the Hippogriffs celebrated that Gallus' comment on what cousins are made him question this. He at least knew who his cousins were, so why would Gallus not only question if he had cousins, but not know what it was? Yuga couldn't think about this for long as the Young 6 were also pointing fingers at each other, trying to get the real prankster to come forward. It wasn't until the fight got bad enough that Yuga used his alicorn magic to make everyone freeze in time. "Look, we can find who the prankster was; but I am not finding it in exchange for your friendship," Yuga was almost cut off by a soft confession from behind the group.

After unfreezing the group, Yuga double checked the source of the confession. It was Gallus as he looked ashamed of what had happened. "Gallus? Did you do that?" Gallus nods sadly as the group was shocked. "But why? Why do something like this?" Silverstream asked as Gallus looked uncomfortable for a second. "Cause I would have no family to go back to for the holidays, that's why." "What about Grandpa Griffin?"

"Everyone calls him Grandpa, I am an orphan griffin." "That's why you hang around my ship when not at school, cause you have no family that would ask where you are." Yuga stated as he rethought everything up to this point. "I'm sorry for the prank, I just didn't want to be alone again for the holidays. Especially after I just got some friends."

"I think we can arrange for that," the group turned to see Twilight and Rainbow Dash by the door. They heard the confession and were glad Gallus finally confessed. "Thanks for telling us Gallus, you will be forced to stay around as punishment for the prank. I'll leave Yuga in charge of your extra friendship lessons. Now once we find cleaning this place, we can have a lovely holiday dinner." Yuga smirks as he goes to the center of the room, "I think this can be cleaned easily; Twilight, may I?" With her nod, Yuga send out his magic in a manner that removed the purple slime from the walls, floor, ceiling, but not the tree. "Only one thing left to clean, I didn't want to risk damaging the tree."

The dinner was nice as Gallus and Yuga watched their friends leave for their holidays as Spike walked up with two boxes in his claws. "Now Yuga and Gallus, there is something you can open before you head to bed." Yuga was surprised, a gift for him; he took him while Gallus took the other. "What?" "I figured if you both are spending Hearts Warming with us, you should have a gift too. Go on, open it;" Spike said as the two shrugged and opened the gift. Inside was a doll, one of Yuga, with a removable jacket that covers his wings; the other of Gallus. "They are Hearth's Warning plushies, we put them on the fireplace. I had Yuga's made some moons ago, and Gallus was recently made. Do you like it?" Gallus pretended to be amused by the gift, where Yuga held his plush in his hooves. "This is cute Spike, thanks; I am taking this back with me to show my friends. Which reminds me, can you send a letter to Luna tonight?" "Mind if I ask why?" Spike asked as Gallus watched. "I.. I guess I just want to say hi to my mom. If I can't give her a physical gift, I can at least give her hope that I am safe." Spike nods and goes to send the letter as Gallus messes with his new Hearth's Warming plush. "I guess I am staying in the dorm for this punishment." Yuga looked shocked, "oh no; I am asking Twilight if you can stay in the castle tonight. It's Hearth's Warning Eve and everycreature should be around friends during the holidays. We can make our holidays less lonely together." With that, both alicorn and griffin placed their Hearth's Warming plush on the crystal fireplace and after Spike confirmed Yuga's request for Luna, and Twilight letting Gallus spent the night, the castle fell quiet as everycreature move to do their nighttime routine.

Luna created the link dream with Yuga as the alicorn walked into a well lit room, a Christmas tree by the fireplace, and two stockings hanging over the lit fireplace. In a chair facing away from Yuga was a young woman, having brown hair and green eyes; she was looking over a picture frame as she heard the click of hooves on the ground. She turned and saw the visitor, a tanned pony with wings on his back and a horn sticking out of a mane that resembled her missing son. To the creature's surprise, the woman smiles; "I had a feeling when your friend told me you were somewhere Yuga." The pony looks shocked for a sec before smiling and walking over to his mom, "Yeah; I figured one of them would inform you of the issue. I wish I could return for the holidays, but.." Yuga looks away for a sec before continuing, "I am apparently needed where I am. But I decided that I should at least let you know. So I guess this is my gift, letting you know I am okay." The two shared a hug as the two enjoyed the short time together, Yuga mostly talking about Equestria and his friends there. Soon the lights from where Yuga came from started flickering, Yuga looked sad, that was the signal that time was up. "I'm sorry, but it looks like the dream is almost over." With one last hug, and kiss on the cheek from his mom, Yuga walked towards the flickering light. "Come back when you are ready Yuga, I'll be here when you return."

Yuga smiled hearing it as he awoke with tears running down his cheeks, "Merry Christmas mom."

Happy Holidays everyone, I wanted to try a family moment with Yuga since I came up with this chapter's idea. Now i have an episode to rewatch 5-10 times to brainstorm ideas for Chapter 14.
