A/n: Hello lovely readers! Psychojack is back with an all new chapter of the one and only Mineta the Mayhem. Last time was quite a hectic chapter. Diamondeye successfully rendezvoused with Kuro Harukaze in an impromptu underground base deep within the sewers of Musutafu City. An entire armada has been established, made worse with the newly established reveal. It turns out that Harukaze's many years of robbing banks was to collect an unknown substance located within the safety deposit boxes of the HPSC as well as other federal hero associations. Shiro, Kuro's brother, was in fact a spy against All for One, which was the sole reason behind Kuro's capture by All Might seventeen years prior to this story. Using this unknown black substance, along with the body of a long dead Nana as well as Diamondeye's collected consciousness he took from Deku, the development of a new weapon was complete. The weapon known as STEM. All was not well for the escaped inmates however, as their new weapon attempted to break out from its intended container. Meanwhile, Mineta rolls out with Burnin to secure more able bodied heroes for the hunt for Harukaze. Back at U.A, a skinwalker now lingers in the dorm along with the rest of an unaware class 1A. What insane trials and tribulations await our heroes? There's only one way to find out readers! Onwards!
-Hydra Prison: Entrance-
The small half sized form of one Mineta Minoru walked outside the entrance along with his father Papito and Moe. Warlow and his men were already clearing some debris off the road in preparation of when help arrived. A thick haze was still prominent in the air, with rays of the moon bouncing off, casting white rays on the destroyed facility.
Among the many Hydra Prison personnel, Warlow could be seen tinkering with the Loud Mouth support tool Mineta provided to him. With its small beacon, the warden was able to configure it to reach all manner of frequencies, ham radios and emergency walkies from a vast radius. The old tech was reliable for emergency contact, though fragile in its construction.
Warlow sighed as he dialed the frequency, trying to reach. Static and mild radio shows could be heard playing as he altered the frequency to a proper channel. "Hey, who are you going to contact first Warlow?" Mineta asked, the half mask provided by his mother made his voice echo with a metallic hum.
Warlow sent Mayhem a small smile. "Now that this old place has been rendered a crap shoot, I'll have to first get some aid for the rest of the wounded here. Without electricity I have been pushing my own quirk to the brink just to charge all the generators. Afterwards, I might as well contact Aizawa like you suggested to get the heroes involved. No way we can handle Harukaze alone, but this time I'll personally inform them. Last time U.A was provided information, there was too much left out. I always thought it was silly to keep vital information out of the loop, but most likely it was the work of the saboteur responsible for helping Harukaze get away. I'll provide a full disclosure, files and everything in order to prevent his escape, maybe even find the mole who helped him."
Mineta raised an eyebrow. "A saboteur? Like a spy?! Who?"
Warlow looked in the distance in remembrance for what All Might informed him before being incapacitated by Harukaze.
-Flashback: Chapter 30-
"To carry out this plan required a lot of coordination and practice…He's done it many times for all his heists, one partner on the inside, and one on the outside. His partner was out there when he escaped beyond the mountains…they already made contact downtown…"
Moe and Monika's eyes widened in horror.
All Might appeared somber, as his mind ran circles at the conclusion that became terribly clear to the blonde. "We didn't save anyone in the slaughter…all we did was let his partner right through…all the way to All for One…Ayumu Endo…"
-Flashback End-
Warlow's eyes narrowed. "The officer you saved…during the Harukaze Massacre. Ayumu Endo."
Mineta appeared crestfallen at the mention of the name of the officer he and his class protected. He was Harukaze's partner!
Warlow continued, noticing Mineta's shocked gaze.
"He's the one who had helped Harukaze escape. With all the security measures, Harukaze needed someone who understood the layout of the place. And he was the one who knew…"
Mineta's eyes widened. "And my class…we…I…let him get away…"
Warlow shook his head in the negative. "No, it wasn't your fault. No one could have predicted that level of planning. It took 17 years for Harukaze to make it work. I'm amazed at the level of mental fortitude it takes to wait that long for a plan like that. Ayumu Endo is out there as we speak, which means I'll have to also send out information to the nearby police force to begin searching for him."
Warlow signed off on some document and handed it to one of his men. It was a document filed 'Request for Immediate Disclosure'. It was clear that despite being the Warden of Hydra Prison, sharing information about Harukaze's case was information that was behind proverbial red tape, and needed acknowledgement before being shared.
'I only know from what little I know from meeting Harukaze face to face. I wonder what else is on him…' Mineta thought. His slime father Papito was nestled on top of Mineta's head as he spoke to Warlow.
"As for dealing with our entourage of convicts, there's only one person who would be able to establish a good enough strategy to find that bastard Harukaze and the other escaped prisoners. And that's Nezu. He'll be able to organize together a lot faster than some gruff officer like me. Besides, I hear he makes good tea."
Mineta snorted, finding some humor despite the severity of the situation. "That's your reason?"
Warlow smirked in response. "You can tell a lot about a man based on how he makes his tea. Actions speak louder than words, and brewing food tea speaks years of a man's life poured in a single cup. That, and I personally want to thank him for sending All Might, Moe, Monika and you to us."
Mineta's eyes closed with a smile that was covered by his mask. "Nezu is one of the main reasons I decided to become a better hero. I owe him for starting me on my path. In fact, I owe him a lot really!"
'Had he never took me to the side and warned me about what my actions were doing to people, I would have still remained stuck.'
Warlow listened to Mineta's tone, noticing the hint of admiration be had for the principal of the prestigious hero school. "I can tell you respect him. That's good. Most kids your age refuse to listen to their mentors despite being shown the way. Being a dad myself, it's never easy getting to the minds of the youth. But you deserve some credit as well, for choosing to take the advice he gave you. For trying to be better, even when it meant realizing you may have gone about things wrong. I had to learn that the hard way and got plenty of scars for it. When it came down to it, you went in willing and ready. In fact, expect for you and Monika to receive a recommendation for Pre-Hero Approval from me."
Mineta tilted his head. "What's that?"
Papito widened his eyes. "Oh wow, that's a phrase I haven't heard in years!"
Warlow closed his eyes with a hearty chuckle. "You mean you kids don't know? I suppose it has been years since that practice was used when vigilantes were a lot more common. A Pre-Hero Approval is pretty much a big stamp in your record. It means you are worthy of pro level fieldwork. You could be trusted with high case operations without a need for any license or permission to do the job, including those given by high ranking officers like myself. Technically, it's giving you many of the usual benefits such as free quirk use given to pros, so long as you don't go overboard. You'll probably not notice any changes in your school life, but trust me. When shit hits the fan as it did here, officers and pros alike will trust a Pre-Hero Approved student over any Hero Graduate. It's because I've seen you personally in action. They'll not question your competency."
Warlow looked at his men who were still alive, clearing the road clean for any incoming emergency vehicles that the outside might send to help them, now that Warlow has possession of the Loud Mouth. The sight of these men still alive brought some ease to the warden's mind.
"Monika earned the same for her performance in the prison today, fighting as hard as she did while keeping many of us alive. She practically did most of the lifting against notorious prisoners such as Legion Lycant, Narcissia, and Diamondeye. And you earned one for your part in fighting Harukaze during the Massacre, as well as literally saving Monika and All Might with your immediate response time. You also provided us a much needed means of communication for the rest of our wounded. That…and you did take a few of my men in a fight. Hero or no, I can tell you understand your quirk and know how to fight efficiently and tactically. You two more than earned our respect."
Mineta's eyes shone with pride. To be Pre-Hero Approved, and to have this stalwart fighter acknowledge him made his heart skip. It was something he didn't think would happen, but it was much appreciated to be validated as a person, as well as the hero he was becoming.
Warlow turned to Mayhem, as one would man to man. He didn't gaze upon him with a condescending look due to his height. There was respect within the steely gaze of the battle hardened prison warden.
"One last thing…"
He then gave him a small plastic container. He whispered for only Mineta to hear.
"It has all the information about what happened here and the files we've collected on all the prisoners. Make sure you get this to him. My men will have no problem with this leak…but tell no one else…especially anyone from the HPSC."
Mineta nodded, slightly surprised by the apparent secret mission involving this delicate small USB. "I…I will! I promise!"
Mineta narrowed his eyes. 'I get it…this is a violation against HPSC. It's like dad said, this place is a secret that people in high places wouldn't want anyone to know about. The HPSC included. Warlow is risking his neck here to stop Harukaze. I won't let it go to waste.'
Mineta placed it into a small pocket tucked inside his jam armor, held by the sticky material he used to form the armor.
'Alright, looks like it's back to U.A first thing!' Mineta mentally psyched himself.
Warlow saluted Mayhem, who responded shakily in kind with the weight of this new responsibility.
"Now, on you go, Mayhem! Time is essential from here on out, so get moving! On the double!"
Mineta nodded, his mission made clear with the send off. With his role here complete, he started immediately heading out. Monika and All Might were recovering, Warlow had a means of contact with emergency comms, which meant he was done here. As he made his way down the stairs of the prison entrance Papito called out to Warlow. "See you later Billy Tea Cups!"
Warlow grumbled and called out. A thick vein popped on his temple in irritation. His stalwart facade crumbled in immediate rage. "Don't call me Billy Tea Cups! No one's called me that since…wait a minute…who the hell are you?!"
Papito raised a thumbs up from atop his son's head.
"I knew you looked familiar! My God, it has been a long time since elementary school. You went from tea parties to one badass officer. I promise we'll catch up later Billy! Gotta save the city and all that!"
Warlow's eyes widened. He bellowed. "P-P-Paps?! I didn't even recognize you! Hey wait!"
Papito and Mineta were already off, heading towards their next destination.
Warlow deadpanned. "What are the odds…either this is a good sign or the beginning of the end…"
With Mineta, the boy looked upwards to his dad in response to what he overheard. "Dad, you knew Warlow dad?"
Papito nodded. "It's a small world! I didn't recognize him. I've met many people named William, hence the nickname Billy. But it's been so many years now. He was an introverted little boy in elementary school. Most people thought he was hopelessly shy, doomed to never change. To me, he was just about the bravest boy I ever got to know. I'm glad he got to realize that too."
Mineta blinked at what his father said.
Papito looked down towards Mineta. "People can change. Some for the better, others for worse. The choices we make, each and every one, will change you in ways that surprise you. I think that's why we were born to have memories. So we can look from where we started to see where our choices take us. It's a messy journey, but life wouldn't be worth it if it wasn't."
Mineta smiled in thought of the person who started him on his journey of change.
-Flashback: Chapter 3-
Momo nodded. "It's okay to be scared. I'm…I'm scared too. But I guess that's the thing about bravery, you can't be brave unless you are afraid."
…
Momo smiled. "Hey, you're smart too. That's why I know you'll figure it out. I believe in you."
-Flashback Ended-
Mineta smiled to himself. Thinking of her made him want nothing more than to see her face.
"Sometimes…all it takes to start…is someone to believe in us…and our choice to make that first step." Mineta said to himself with a content smile.
Papito, however, was lost in memory lane as he spoke. "Lord knows I wasn't always the confident slime dad you know and love. I was a super shy boy. This one time in middle school, a girl trapped me using glue traps on me to confess to me. I actually wanted it so much, but I was too afraid. Had I chosen different, who knows how my life would have turned out."
Mineta, in hearing his father talk, widened his eyes in bewilderment. He recalled something from earlier.
-Flashback: Chapter 15-
"Ever got into trouble?" Mineta asked.
"Oh didn't I? In middle school I was caught peeping in the boy's bathroom, flirting with just about anyone who would entertain me. When I was at the academy, I would go so far as to say I was desperate for attention. I was lonely." Midnight said.
Mineta looked incredulously at his teacher.
"You? Lonely!?" Mineta said…
"...In middle school I once used glue traps to try to confess to a boy once. Naturally, he transferred. That for me was the last straw. I went solo for quite a while. Just between you and me that took a toll on my self esteem. I felt ugly for the longest time."
-Flashback End-
"What's wrong Minoru? You look like you've seen a ghost?" Papito said, prompting Mineta to turn away.
"N-nothing!" Mineta said.
'Just reeling in from the fact that had things been different, Midnight could have been my mom for Pete's sake!'
Meanwhile, Moe awaited him against the wall of the prison facility building. Her hair practically glowed within the haze that emanates around Hydra Prison. She appeared to be gazing at the destroyed landscape outside the prison. She sighed in realization of just the amount of carnage one man could do. Despite being used to being around the likes of Endeavor, this sight unnerved her. This wasn't a simple ruined landscape, uprooted by debris alone. It felt different, the small stray wisps of haunting pillowy fog brought with it a chill that made the fire haired heroine shiver. It felt…so surreal. As if the land itself was decaying under Harukaze's will.
She shook her head, rejecting these thoughts. She had a job to do, and couldn't waste time thinking about such things. She turned to her left and noticed Mineta heading towards her position.
"You're heading out, Mayhem?" Burnin asked. Her usual grin appeared on her face at the sight of the recent local legend walking down the entrance steps. Seeing him under this lighting, Moe took in the armored frame of his costume, mixed in with the face mask that made him look like a masked avenger. He was dressed for intense battle and matches the purple, white and yellow color palette he adopted for his look. The other thing was his eyes. His usually dark purple irises practically glowed under the night sky, piercing and attentive. There was an uninhibited focus in them, a look of disarming readiness. Even though he was of significantly smaller stature, there was a stride in his step that displayed his confidence but also his comfortability with combat.
No doubt he was focused fully on stopping Harukaze now that his business was finished here. Moe had to admit, she craved nothing more than to get even with the mass murderer. He had to be stopped.
'Can't lose my cool here. Remember, you're not a student anymore. If we just jump in on Harukaze without a plan…we'll be as good as dead. He's got an entire army of those inmates. And the man himself is definitely an A rank. Perhaps…he's even higher.
The fact he can passively give anyone quirk destabilization makes him a potential SS rank…even though there hasn't been a single villain labeled with that kind of rank…not officially at least.'
Moe looked at Mineta in an analytical manner.
'Then that means Mayhem…he's potentially at his or a greater rank for beating him during the Harukaze Massacre. That's actually…kind of cool…'
Moe noticed herself softly biting her lip as she gazed at the small hero, seeing him in a positive light. Being a pro hero sidekick made the fiery heroine impressed to be working with a younger hero with so much potential already. It was inspiring to the passionate pro sidekick.
'Here I am, practically geeking out. Can't look too unprofessional, right?' Moe thought to herself, wanting to make a good impression herself. She was representing Endeavor's hero agency after all.
Mineta responded with a nod to her earlier question.
"Let's go Moe! Ready dad?" He said. Upon finishing his statement, Papito shaped himself into a slime textured horse, scaring a random Hydra Prison security guard as he did so.
Papito let out jovially. "I was born ready son! Back to school we go!"
Mineta stared confusedly at his dad. "Uh dad? Since when did you learn how to be a horse?"
Papito sweatdropped. "Well…I will be honest, I can't ride the whole way. It'll have to be until we bump into your Grandpa on the road. I'll be way too tired to make it back to the city.
Mineta sweatdropped. He wasn't sure how Moe would feel about riding his dad in this manner. She might be uncomfortable with this arrangement. "I mean…but what about…"
GRIP
Mineta felt two hands carry him upward. Moe stared at him with a good natured grin. "You heard Pops! Off we go. Since you're a bit on the short side, I call shotgun!"
Mineta blushed as Moe leaped on top of Papito without a care. Mineta found himself nestled in the lap of Endeavor's sidekick. She looked down towards the smaller hero. Unknowingly, the angle from Mineta's perspective enabled him to take in Moe's prominent breasts. "Comfy?" said the well meaning heroine. Her fanged grin displayed in a warm manner.
Mineta was blushing at the close distance of the green fire wielding heroine.
"It's…yes! More than comfy!" Mineta let out. His eyes bulged out of their sockets. Moe has a rosy blush herself, feeling the warmth of the small hero pressed against her.
"Good!" She said before kicking against the bouncy slime skin of Papito's horse form. Papito let out a neigh before riding off on the road, away from Hydra Prison, taking the one path that led back to the city.
SFX: GALLOP
With the power of his slime limbs, Papito was able to propel himself forward with more speed than the usual horse, leaving behind a thick trail of dust with each stride of his powerful thickened back legs.
"I sure can't wait to get home after all this business at school." The slime dad said, prompting Mineta to raise an eyebrow.
"Why's that dad?" Mineta asked confusedly.
Papito's face reddened. "Oh, because your mother is waiting for me! Knowing her she must be getting ready for a three...uh…well hopefully something extraordinary. No need for concern!"
Mineta sweatdropped. His eyes narrowed suspiciously at his old man. 'Knowing dad as well as I do, he and mom must be prepping for…something I really don't want to think about. I just hope Minimu and the triplets are asleep by then so they don't hear everything.'
-Mineta Family Residence-
In a large candle lit bedroom, one could hear the prevalent sighs and relaxed moans emanating from the center. One could hear the faint gliding sounds of hands against skin, with each stroke bringing for more reverbing sighs.
"Ah…that feels so good!" A feminine voice said as if in rapture. The voice belonged to a woman, who currently lounged with her back exposed to the air, and her stomach flat on a massage table. With perfectly kempt blonde hair and a toned body with prominent sculpted assets was Mountain Lady.
Currently the vain hero was undergoing a rather unexpected development. Specifically, the young heroine was being massaged by two explorative and deep reaching hands.
"Where the hell did you learn…gah! This?! Eh!" The heroine squealed, as sweat dripped from her forehead. The sensations that shuddered and sent jolts of excitement through her body were making her lightheaded. She was in a state of being both fatigued and rejuvenated. A methodical state of bliss and fatigue. An odd combination, and yet one that brought untold satisfaction to every pore of her body.
Rubbing oil against her back were two small hands, practiced after many years of dealing with the human body, from the quirkless to the most abnormal of mutants. She was about the size of a growing child, however she was anything but. With two pigtails made of large spheres, was the face of Mamira Mineta.
The matriarch of the Mineta family was currently in the middle of providing this youthful heroine with an extremely penetrative massage. With her knowledge of human anatomy as well as her own desires fueling her hands, the mother of five explored the toned body of the giantess before her.
"Oh you really like that huh?" Mamira teased as she fondled Mountain Lady's ankles, using her slightly larger digits to unwind the tension in Mountain Lady's smooth toned ankles.
"Yes! It feels amazing! I feel like I'm on a cloud!" Mountain Lady praised as she groaned and gasped from Mamira's controlled fingers.
Mountain Lady closed her eyes in bliss. Mamira however had a darkened expression. A notable glint of mischief in comparison to the careful and gentle shifts of her hands.
"We're only just beginning…" Mamira said with her eyes drilling the back of Mountain Lady's head as she admires her taut back muscles, flexing and relaxing with each breath.
'Dayum, baby got back! Papi, wait till you get a load of Mountain Cheeks over here!' Mamira thought loudly in the back of her mind, looking Mountain Lady's backside up and down.
"Oh my god! Hah! I feel like I'm getting dizzy." Mountain Lady moaned. It was as if years of frustration and cumulative stress was completely warming her way out of her pores, coming out in the form of prominent, near sensual moans.
Mountain Lady heaved as she looked behind her to see Mamira working with her eyes closed, serene and innocent. She wasn't able to notice the earlier look of mischief the matriarch had.
'How the hell did the little twerps' mom learn all this? It's better than any spa I've been to! Maybe it's because she's so short…with those stubby little fingers of hers.' Mountain Lady thought to herself.
Though a little suspicious at first when offered an out of the blue massage, the prideful giantess unashamedly liked being pampered from time to time. As a hero, it was the least people could do to spoil those who save the day, at least that's what Mountain Lady personally believed. This was a much needed break from her usual routine of stopping crime and fighting.
'I'm overthinking things. I know Mineta was a total perv and all, especially when the brat was my intern, but his family seems alright…for the most part…' Mountain Lady reflected. She resigned to her well earned break.
'Besides, what better way to build trust with the common folk than to accept their hospitality when offered. It would have been rude of me to reject this.' Mountain Lady thought to herself, nodding to herself from her own mental justification behind taking advantage of this relaxing treatment.
"If you think this is good, you should try my Papito. He always knows the right places to reach!" Mamira said as she worked Mountain Lady's thighs. Mamira couldn't help but admire the firmness of the silky smooth flesh under her care.
"That and he can be extremely flexible when he needs to be." Mamira added, with a touch of huskiness in her tone.
As Mountain Lady closed her eyes in bliss, she couldn't help but think back when Papito unintentionally massaged her foot during the family dinner.
-Flashback: Chapter 25-
Mountain Lady felt her right thigh touched in a firm but very stimulating manner. She couldn't really describe what was touching her but it felt like something was crawling up her thigh.
Her eyes widened and looked around, completely confused as to who was touching and fondling her.
'Whoever that was-'
SQUEEZE
Mountain Lady had to breathe through her nostrils to control her moaning.
'They…sure know their stuff!'
….
"Honey. Where's your leg?" Papito said casually.
Mamira sweatdropped as she smiled. "Were you trying to feel me up under the table, you horn dog."
Papito seemed confused, taking a quick peek underneath the dinner table. "I was…unless I was grabbing the wrong leg?"
Mamira whispered. "Well I feel sorry for them because that's the only time they'll ever get to feel your magic fingers! You're gonna be quite busy tonight tiger."
Mountain Lady sat dumbly next to Mamira, overhearing everything. She tried to hold it but she comically wept silently.
'I was only a side piece! What about my feelings?!' Mountain Lady thought miserably as Papito and Mamira played footsies under the table.
-Flashback End-
Mountain Lady blushed a violent shade of red. She couldn't deny that the sensations Papito made her feel by touching her legs left her extremely hot and bothered. It also didn't help that she had already confused Papito for Mineta's brother when they first met, due to how youthful the slime dad was.
'Story of my life…either they are too busy or for some reason become villains…the life of a hero is so unfair in the dating department! Just when I find one who knows his way around an oven, he turns out to be married with five kids! Where's a girl supposed to find herself a stud?' Mountain Lady lemented miserably. She groaned with her face planted against the massage table, muffling her audible disappointment.
"I wonder whatever it is you are thinking about MoLa. Your body is becoming rather warm." Mamira said teasingly, calling the young Lurkers member by her chosen nickname for extra effect. Mamira's fingers were getting explorative, prompting small squeaks in Mountain Lady that she didn't expect to make. Small jolts of neural stimulation coursed up Mountain Lady's spine as Mamira caressed her lower back. Mamira was steadily being more penetrative with her fingers, prodding deeper into the plump and toned skin of the giantess before her.
'She's way too good at this…just how much experience does she have with those fingers? If this is how she is, how much does Papito have?' Mountain Lady thought while a bit of drool emanated down the left side of her lips. Her eyes were mildly hazy from the heat building up as a result of Mamira's attentiveness.
Mountain Lady bit her lip. "I'm just thinking about something silly is all."
'The way her fingers move is turning me on way too much! It's like I'm melting! This isn't relaxing anymore, this is stimulating! All that overthinking about Papito has made me get all messed up!' Mountain Lady gasped as Mamira leaned closer.
Mamira echoed to herself in her mind. 'Now for the finishing touch…'
Mamira whispered with a bit of a huskiness to it. "As our extended guest, there's a lot I'm sure I could do for a top class hero like yourself.
"T-top class?" Mountain Lady repeated. Her ego was being stoked, and it was working if her loosened up body was any indication. She didn't even seem to mind Mamira reaching the sides of her hips as she leaned down.
"There's so much more." Mamira purred. "I'm sure my Papito would love to show you. What do you say to that Yu?" Mamira said as her hands hypnotically swirled against Mountain Lady's bare hip line.
Mountain Lady was a hot mess. Bits of sweat stained her forehead as the sensations brought on by Mamira's massage techniques, combined with her own lustful thoughts started fuming every breath she took. Her breath came out as steaming pants.
"Yu?" Mountain Lady repeated. Mamira using her name as opposed to her hero name or a nickname had made Mountain Lady's heart pump a little faster. The way she had said it made Mountain Lady more self conscious. At the same time, the pulsing sensation of her body being alight with neural stimulation has made her eyes cloud with an indiscernible expression.
Mamira nodded. "That's your first name isn't it? Why don't we start calling each other by name. I think we're gonna get along just fine… real soon."
Before Mountain Lady could take in what Mamira was trying to say, something interrupted the moment.
THUD
Mamira paused in place, hearing an obstructive sound from outside the room. Mountain Lady laid down on the bed breathing rapidly. She turned in a flimsy attempt to cover her bare body. She appeared visibly startled by the noise and mildly irritated by the intrusion on what was just about the most intense massage of her life. That and…whatever it was Mamira was saying.
Mamira stepped over to the door and opened it. There was Minimu laying on the floor. He appeared to be struggling to stand on his feet, with his face flat on the rug-covered flooring.
"Mimu? What are you doing up so late? Aren't you supposed to be in bed baby?" Mamira said, calling Minimu by his assigned nickname. She giggled upon seeing how he tumbled again in a cute manner. The floor was covered in carpet fabric to prevent the children from hurting themselves on hardwood.
"Come here, sweet ruby." The mother said to her red sphere headed boy. With practiced ease, the grape mother turned her baby towards her.
Upon doing so, Mamira noticed something.
"Oh dear…" Mamira said with her left hand pressed against her mouth, covering her lips in a surprised expression.
Mountain Lady heaved from the massage table. Her body was limp from the intense stimulation Mamira had given her from the erotic massage. She sounded mildly peeved at having her massage paused, but she was still concerned about the little baby as a hero. "What is it? The little kid's not hurt is he?"
"No, Minimu snuck out again!" Mamira said as she showed 'Minimu' to Mountain Lady, who widened her eyes at what she noticed.
"What the hell?" The Lurkers member said with a look of disbelief. She was amazed that according to Mamira, this was not the first time this had happened.
-Heights Alliance 1A Dorms: Lobby-
The door of the entrance of the expansive dorms eerily slid shut. 'Denki', being the one who closed the door, looked around his surroundings, taking in any noteworthy sights.
"A lot bigger than I thought…this will take a while…" The electric blonde spoke. If one noticed, the usually carefree smile on his face was instead an emotionless gaze, an empty stare that simply took things at face value, a gaze that didn't belong on the usually happy go lucky face. To be associated with such a detached expression was contradictory to Denki's vibrant and passionate personality.
'Denki' heard footsteps and peaks at the stairwell, gauging the students that were still awake.
Class 1A were wandering the dorms. The fatigue of the day practically weighed some of them down, while others were energetic, looking forward to some late night plans before they hit the hay for rest.
Satou and Kirishima guided a limp Ochaco up the stairs. Satou held the chestnut haired girl by her shoulders while Kirishima held her by her legs. Ochaco didn't seem to be responsive to any stimuli, possessing completely white eyes as a result of a certain green haired boy she gushed over.
"Easy now Ochaco, we're almost to your dorm." Kirishima said with a sweatdrop on his face. Crimson Riot's good natured demeanor was the sole motivator behind wanting to aid his classmate up the steps, and it was a great way to stay in shape.
Satou sighed. "You think that her and 'you know who' will ever make the final leap?"
Kirishima grinned. "These things take time. As hopeless as she seems right now, she's well on her way. It wouldn't do them any good if they rushed it."
Satou raised an eyebrow. "That's quite considerate of you."
Kirishima smiled. "I learned that from Mineta's dad. He gave me some advice on manliness before we left. For a family as weird as they were, they offered some pretty good advice when I asked."
'Oh no…' Satou thought aloud with a headache pounding against his noggin. The thought of Kirishima being tainted by the Mineta family's corruption was scary enough, but to have someone like Kirishima tainted by their teachings too!
Satou grasped his forehead in a physical display of frustration, not that Kirishima would notice.
'Like a virus they're spreading!'
Bakugo, who was stomping his way up the stairs, shoved his way past the three. Kirishima and Satou nearly dropped Ochaco down the stairs. In her currently Deku induced delusion, she was extremely vulnerable.
"Move it! The last thing I wanna hear is about Manumei or anyone related to her!" The irate grenadier said with steam coming from his ears. An internal fury was etched into his currently fully white eyes, having lost his rationality.
"Uh Bakugo…we didn't mention Manumei at all…" Satou said to the explosive blonde.
Bakugo stuttered. "I-I didn't say her name! That's you thinking about them, Satou! Don't think anybody doesn't notice that little love note you had in the cab, you cradle robber!"
Satou paled, causing the baker to release Ochaco from his grip by accident. Kirishima was shocked by the gravity user literally tumbling down the stairs like a ragdoll.
BONK
THUMP
BA DUNK
Ochaco, after colliding against the many stairs, was left against the floor of the lobby with dizzy eyes. She was worse for wear, battered by her comical tumble down the stairs.
"Oowie…." The lovestruck girl squeaked as Kirishima ran to help her.
'Denki' raised an eyebrow as he watches the innocent gravity girl tumble down the stairs.
'This body should fit in well enough, just gotta make it to the target and then I'm gone…' 'Denki' said to himself. He began taking silky smooth strides up the stairs, making completely dampened steps devoid of sound. It was a practiced gait, one belonging to the most skilled of those well versed in stealth. This contrasted heavily with Denki's usual stride.
"Sorry Ochaco! I promise we'll be more careful. Satou what the hell man!" Red Riot said in a placating manner, ignoring 'Denki' who passed him in favor of the groaning Uravity.
Satou was unfortunately mentally stumped by what Bakugo said. Roo stumped to notice the blonde literally walk past him, up the stairs towards the second floor. It seemed that the easily irritated bomber already knew about Minami's focus on him.
Satou looked at his left foot and noticed the little girls little note of ownership glued to him still.
'is that what people are gonna know me as?! A cradle robber?!' Satou thought while sulking.
SLAM
Bakugo had already slammed the door shut before anyone could say anything. His anger fumed to the point of near detonation.
BOOM
A small explosion could be heard within the blonde's dorm. Small bits of smoke leaked through the crevices of his now dented and battered door.
The tape user Sero sighed as he went to his own dorm. "Ah man. All this yelling is giving me a headache. I'll see you later Satou…I mean *snorts* cradle robber! Haha!"
Satou grabbed his scalp. "DAMMIT! MY REPUTATION IS COMPLETELY RUINED!"
Shouji, who was walking alongside Sero, sighed as he overheard the conversation.
"Enough teasing Sero. Satou is experiencing a little girl's crush is all."
Sero chuckled. "I'm just messing around. Besides, Bakugo is the one who started it."
Satou grimaced in mental anguish. The thought of his whole hero's journey being tarnished by this recent predicament was already too much to endure.
Kirishima sweatdropped, completely unaware of whatever it was that weighed on the sugar man's mind.
Sero and Shouji sweatdropped at the sight of the interaction between Bakugo, Satou and Kirishima.
"I didn't think Bakugo would be this upset from being rejected by a little girl…" Shouji pointed out.
"I think Bakugo is feeling rejected for the first time. His pride must have taken quite a blow. He should be fine after a good night's sleep." Sero said while pressing an ice pack to his left cheek.
Sero looked behind him at Todoroki who appeared to be sneaking into his room with a paper in hand.
"Hey Todoroki, what are you up to?" Sero asked the wandering elemental. Todoroki appeared to be averting his eyes from their gaze nervously.
"I was trying to write a letter to someone, but Iida seemed extremely upset when I mentioned this. I don't know what's the harm in writing back." Todoroki said.
Sero raised an eyebrow at Todoroki. "Wait, someone sent you a note? Since when?"
"It was recently that I came to possess this note." Todoroki said.
Sero and Shouji widened their eyes.
"Dude, a girl sent you that note?!" Sero said with wide eyes.
Shouji clapped Todoroki's right shoulder in support. "That's great Todoroki."
Todoroki's expression appeared interested. The positive reinforcement from his friends was what prompted him to ask. "What should I do?"
Sero waved off his concern. "Dude, Iida can be a bit too uptight at times. If you want to send a message back, then go ahead and do it!"
Shouji nodded with Sero's statement. "I don't see the issue with reciprocating a letter."
Todoroki let out a sigh of relief. "I see. Thank you, I'll be sure to write as soon as possible. In fact I'll be writing in my room."
Sero leaned forward and whispered. "Just between us, who's the lucky girl, buddy? Anyone from our class by any chance?"
Shouji couldn't help but lean in as well. His curiosity piqued his interest.
Todoroki sent them a small smile. He whispered. "Oh, it's just Mineta's little sister Monomi!"
Todoroki walked away from the two without paying attention to the reaction of his friends. Sero and Shouji stared at Todoroki's retreating back, their eyes wide with bewilderment.
Sero squeaked. "Mineta's…little sister?!"
Shouji's pupils shook in place. "What have we done…?"
While the two stunned heroes spoke among themselves, 'Denki' walked past them, taking notes of the dorms and the people residing inside.
'So far I see that Todoroki boy. Endeavor's kid…then there's the one with the bombs. That one's a real handful, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere with those blasts of his. They match the description of what Diamondeye told me about these kids.' The possessed blonde thought as he went. Unknown to him however, a small red blur was busy sneaking on the ceiling, using a prevalent red slimed hand from his scalp to navigate the halls from atop the unsuspecting class. It was Minimu, who was looking for and wide for each room, trying to find his own target.
The little infant of the Mineta family looked from door to door, checking each name plastered on the wooden surface. He passed by the door labeled 'Katsuki Bakugo', where one would be privy to the irate blonde grumbling to himself. The infant passed a few more doors down before he paused at one bearing the name of 'Kyoka Jiro'. The perverted little infant grinned a lecherous smile before the small red sphere on his head extended a thin needle length limb that slipped into the keyhole. With a simple turn of his head, Minimu was able to open the door with a resounding click. He has clearly been doing this for a while, considering the ease of his lockpicking.
The door creaked open, however there was no one inside. No sign of the musical goth girl anywhere in the dimly lit room. She was obviously still awake somewhere in the dorms. With a displeased expression, the youngest Mineta child snapped his finger in clear disappointment. The sound of his suckler being suckled was an audible indicator of relieving his mild disappointment. The sound of footsteps caused the baby to look around desperately before deciding to jump into Jiro's room, closing the door before he was caught. The last thing the sneaky infant wanted was for anyone to notice him and send him home.
The footsteps belonged to 'Denki', who looked around analytically. "I thought I heard something…no matter. Monoma is not in this dorm…must be in another one…"
Elsewhere, Iida could be seen placing Aoyama on the couch of the central lounge area of the dorms, where several sets of chairs, a table and leather seats decorated the room.
"Are you sure you don't want me to take you to your room? A couch doesn't make for a proper bed." Iida asked Aoyama in concern. As a class rep, the dutiful sprinter wanted to ensure that Aoyama was alright, since the dodgeball game took a toll on his body.
Aoyama smiled. "I do appreciate the concern, but I'm far from tired yet. Besides, I want to see the moon. It's quite dazzling tonight!"
Iida smiled at Aoyama's bright smile. If he was able to emit his usual smile, it was clear that Aoyama would be fine. He was worrying too much.
"Well alright then. If you need me just call out for me and I'll come running." Iida said in his usual guiding manner before striding off, having to nurse his own wounds from the Mineta family olympics he had endured.
Toru could be seen with Ojiro. The usually disciplined karate practitioner seemed to have a dark cloud on his head.
"What's wrong Oji! You seem awfully glum!" Toru whined as Ojiro went upstairs.
"I'm not in the mood…" Ojiro grumbled. Koda noticed Ojiro and immediately hid under a nearby table as he passed by. Toru could be heard chasing after the karate expert.
"Ojiro! Hey! Did I do something wrong?" Toru said as she chased after the tailed karate expert, desperate to understand the source of his apparent attitude.
Koda, who was still underneath the table near Aoyama, exhaled in relief.
The crow-headed Tokoyami, sat on a couch near Aoyama. He didn't notice the animal speaker still under the table, as he was distracted with other problems. Specifically, he was still reeling in from his recent exposure to paltry based insults and phrases that appeared to hound him relentlessly.
"Hey Aoyama…" Tokoyami asked the shining hero.
"Oui?" Aoyama said towards Tokoyami, his readiness apparent with sparkles that emanated from his form. The boy was an attention seeker for moments like this where he could be of use.
"Ever had this nagging feeling that something is pursuing you…only you don't know what it is?" The bird headed teen asked his classmate.
Aoyama raised an eyebrow. He pondered Tokoyami's question. "Pursuing? That's an odd question considering that we are heroes in training. If one is to be pursued then wouldn't that make you a great hero? After all, a dazzling glow attracts like moths to a flame."
Tokoyami sighed.
'That doesn't make me feel any better, but then again, I neglected to explain myself further.'
"Never mind. It's nothing." Tokoyami said before taking a remote placed on the table before him and pressing the on switch.
FLICK
With a push of a button on the remote, he flicked the television switch. Some entertainment might take his mind off things. The bright flare of the screen brought the sensation of calm to the bird-human hybrid, much like the sight of a cozy fire in the midst of an unforgiving blizzard.
He heard a voice on the screen.
"Hey! Feeling hungry? How about some Ultra Chicken! Now made with real chicken!" The bright vivid advertisement displayed a bowl full of chicken drumsticks and thighs.
FLICK
'So what were they using before?!' Tokoyami thought with a vivid look of bewilderment as he switched the remote.
The television flicked to a new channel. Tokoyami had a wide eyed gaze as he did so, not expecting to see such a revolting ad. The calm he possessed a mere second ago had diminished, replaced with anxiety.
FLICK
"Nothing is more tender than the juicy mouthwatering goodness of Papa Weasels' Crispy Tenders. Cluck me to Extinction-"
FLICK
Tokoyami's eyes had red cracks on them as he continued to flick the television remote, hoping to escape whatever curse he was plagued with.
Aoyama looked between the shadow user and the television. He couldn't help but notice Tokoyami's clear irritation.
The shadow user finally came upon an ad that made his eyes widen.
"Huh?"
The ad blared. "Looking for a new collectible for your heroic collection? Look no further than First Class Figurines. We have the latest additions in the Secret Legend Series ! Come down to First Class Figurines to get your super figurines today!"
Tokoyami sighed. "If Midoriya were here, he would probably go crazy for something like this."
He turned off the television as the silhouette of the latest figure was revealed, one bearing three spheres atop his head. The two classmates didn't notice this due to how fast Tokoyami flicked off the television, preventing them from seeing the sight of this newly minted figurine, and the name of 'Mayhem' spelling itself in bold yellow.
Aoyama nodded as he laid on the couch next to the feather headed boy. "I'll be sure to let him know when he returns. I'm sure he'll be more than ecstatic."
With 'Denki', the blonde looked around and noticed the furniture on the second floor, which appeared to be a lounge area for the other classmates to relax and banter. Currently a bird headed boy and a blonde were at the lounge area, mildly chatting among themselves. About what was something the body snatched Chargebolt didn't know.
"Practically a home away from home, aren't these little bastards lucky…" 'Denki' mumbled. His slightly enlarged pupils analyzed a small table with a lamp, where a photo of the entire class 1A was placed in a small frame.
"Cute…" 'Denki' pointed out, looking and observing the smiling class.
'Denki' noticed that this class consisted of quite a few oddballs. He could see that there were notable ones such as the tall octo armed classmate and the frog mutant.
"Ah, a mutant…*sighs* terrific…I will need to avoid her the most…" 'Denki' noticed, narrowing his eyes with a darkened gaze.
His hands tilted the picture frame as he caught wind of a small boy on the frame. He was at the front of the camera, being the smallest of the bunch. The most prominent feature about the otherwise childlike classmate were the three purple spheres plastered onto his head.
"This body feels deeply connected to that one…like a little brother…but also…envy? This is…a close friend…but also a rival. I don't see this one around here…must be at an internship if he's not at the dorm. Looks like a little kid. No matter, this nobody is not what I'm here for…" 'Denki mumbled, placing the photo down.
Tokoyami rose himself up, with the intention of getting some rest. At this time of night it was best to get some rest. Dark Shadow could get testy if he stayed up to late, that and with the constant regurgitating appearance of the words 'crispy' and 'chicken', the talking raven had no intention of being toyed with any further.
Tokoyami said to Aoyama. "I'm gonna go get some sleep. Good night Aoyama."
Aoyama beamed at the gesture. "Bonne nuit! Until morning light, Tokoyami!"
Tokoyami sweatdropped. The 'feathered' comment made him think of yet another comparison to poultry. He found himself bumping into 'Denki', having to stop in place. "Oh, apologies Kaminari. I wasn't looking.
'Denki' played along. "Of course Tokoyami. It's perfectly fine."
'Denki' walked past Tokoyami, who took a few steps toward his dorm before pausing and looking at 'Denki's back.
"Kaminari, is everything alright?" Tokoyami asked, a mild look of concern on his face.
Unknown to him, 'Denki's' eyes shifted to a malicious magenta, with his eyebrows furrowed in a clear display of withheld maliciousness.
"Yeah I'm fine. What do you mean?"
Tokoyami asked. "It's just…before you seemed awfully mad about the whole thing with Mineta."
'Mineta? Which one was that again…the name is familiar to this body. Best play to his perception. Otherwise, I'll look more suspicious and draw more attention.'
'Denki' turned around with a slightly irritated expression. "You noticed…sorry. Just trying to hold it in is all. I'll get over it."
Tokoyami tilted his head before sighing. "It's not for me to say, but I'm sure whatever is going on with you two, I'm sure you won't let it ruin your friendship. Try not to resent him. After all, you two are close after all."
'So this Denki has some beef with this Mineta kid. Without the names of all the classmates on hand, it'll be difficult to have conversations. At least I know his name, Tokoyami. Typical high school kids. They never change. It's good to know this for future reference.' 'Denki' analyzed before nodding, acting as if he accepted the advice. Tokoyami nodded back and left, satisfied with what he had to say.
'That Tokoyami is not a mutant…but he does have a similar knack for picking up on things out of the ordinary. I'd best keep him at a distance. Good thing he's going to sleep.'
'Denki' wandered away from Tokoyami, heading back to the mission at hand. 'So far so good. With this body and this quirk in hand, it should be more than capable to collect what I came here for.'
-Flashback: Chapter 32-
"Kuro told me he was able to swipe it during his fight downtown, after a confrontation with a group of students. An unexpected find from such an unexpected place. Good thing most don't know Harukaze can hide something like this within his quirk. One of those students he fought wrote a detailed collective of many of the quirks All for One will find quite useful. There are two that he'll find valuable above all else. The one known as Eri, and Neito Monoma, a copycat quirk user."
-Flashback End-
'A little girl and a copycat. Knowing Kuro, there must be something he has in mind for them. I'll save the copycat for last, the girl makes for a smaller and easier target. Once I secure her, I'll take the copycat as my body and make a smooth escape. All that is left is for me to study the layout before making any sudden moves. One misstep and I'll be exposed. No pressure.'
Down the hall, away from their earshot, two of 1A's girls could be seen speaking in hushed tones, hoping that none would catch on to their discussion. It was Momo and Mina. The two girls were hunched over as they spoke, a clear physical indicator of the privacy of their conversation. One would notice the shifting of a pink headed girl, taking peaks over her right shoulder to check if there were any eavesdroppers.
"Are you sure no one's gonna see us? We're a little out in the open here." Mina asked Momo with a sweatdrop on her forehead. The pink haired dancer looked behind her, seeing Kirishima and Satou taking a freshly unconscious and limp Ochaco upstairs.
Mina sighed at her gravity using friends' condition. It was cute to see the chestnut haired girl like this but also irritating that she still suffers with such extreme paralyzing shyness.
'This is why I usually push Ochaco to just make a move already. I swear, by the time she or Deku make a move they'll be well into their retirement years…' Mina thought to herself. She refocused her attention on Momo, who was speaking.
Momo smiled. "No need to worry about that. For months I usually had to chastise Minoru around this time at night. In fact I've done it enough times for the others to pretty much expect me to go there as the norm. They won't suspect a thing."
Momo couldn't help but mildly smirk. A rare mischievous expression appeared on her face, knowing things were coming together, just as she thought they would.
Mina raised an eyebrow. She emphasized. "You mean, besides what he always did in the daytime…and the afternoon…he used to also perv at night . When we were all asleep?"
Momo sweat dropped. The studious creator stammered.
"Well…this was before he made an effort to control himself. It's quite crazy to think about how much he's changed, but he was as mischievous at night as he was in the morning." Momo admitted.
Momo's mind went back to thinking about the past. She giggled at the thought of Mineta's previous perversion streak. "Even at night, since we all had our doors locked, he would check on the girls of class 1B. Through his window if I recall correctly."
Mina exhaled. A small puff of air emanated from her lips. "Of course…why am I not surprised. Even at night, Minoru was always up to his usual antics. That shouldn't be a surprise to me anymore…"
Mina then blushed as a mild lecherous thought entered the forefront of her mind. With her arms folded on the back of her head, the acid user admitted. "Now…I suppose…I'll keep my dorm room open…for him…"
Mina coughed into her left hand as her face reddened from her shameless admission. Momo blushed at the suggestive tone Mina said.
Momo teased. "Mina!"
Mina grinned with a good natured smile. "What? After all that we have done I think this would more than spice things up for us girls, don't you think?"
The two girls laughed between themselves. Mina continued.
"Speaking of girls, was there anyone in particular he looked at from 1B? Just out of curiosity of course."
Momo appeared lost in thought, her eyes looking upwards in recollection.
"With no one from class 1A awake, he would take full advantage of no one keeping tabs on him. The only reason I was able to find out was when I took a walk outside the campus grounds. I saw him gazing at the class 1B dorm windows from his own. He had a perfect view! I honestly don't know for sure just how many he looked at. Knowing Minoru he probably checked them all out. It got to the point that he even tried checking on the girls of class 1C once."
Mina widened her eyes. She whispered with an intense tone, having to control herself from screaming in shock. "What?! Even 1C?! I sometimes forget how many other classes there are in U.A!"
Momo sweatdropped, she sighed at the fact that Mineta's taste knew no limits when it came to the heroines in training spread all over campus. "He had yet to meet Monika at the time. She was always busy with her duties as a hall monitor and training for her internship. I don't think any of the girls caught on to his misbehavior. It didn't help that there was that little…never mind."
Mina raised an eyebrow. Her black eyes pierced Momo in rampant curiosity. "A little what? Don't hide from me now! What? Tell me!"
Momo shushed Mina with her left hand covering Pinky's lips. Mina's voice was muffled, prompting her to pout against Momo's hand. Momo peeked over the pink girls' shoulder with a sweatdrop on her left temple. She noticed Tokoyami and Aoyama sitting by the lounge area, chatting mildly. Momo opened the door of Mineta's dorm room. The door made a faint squeak as she opened the wooden door.
"You know it's ironic that before we would have never thought to enter this dorm room before. Now here we are doing so willingly." Mina said with closed eyes and an open toothed grin.
Momo smiled in response to Mina's analysis. It was quite the irony.
-With Narcissia-
'Denki' peeked through a large second floor window, down the hall away from the other students. It provided a view of the campus in full, enabling one to see the large expanse of green along with the other dorm halls belonging to each class. Rays of the night sky peered through the glass, casting 'Denki' in a dark blue tint combined with the residual radiance of nearby campus lamps. One could see that each dorm was approximately a five minute walk away.
'Denki's' eyes glowed a shade of magenta as he peeked outside, scanning for any other onlookers or notable heroes in the vicinity. He was able to see the dorm of class 1B, where a green vine headed girl was praying with tears in her eyes. Scanning downward, the blond noticed that there was a girl on the rooftop with an exceptionally large mushroom on her head, spinning around with a wide smile whilst firing spores onto the roof.
"Class 1B…they seem no different than these oddballs…a bit more weirder but nonetheless, they all have heroic potential."
'Denki' was excavating the windows of 1B, when his eyes came upon a mop of blonde hair, belonging to one Neito Monoma. Currently the copycat was in the middle of reading some books on different heroes throughout history. It read 'Encyclopedia of Heroes Volume 1'. He appeared to be gritting his teeth in clear frustration from the memory overload.
'There he is, Neito Monoma...the copycat himself. Not many of those around…the last I checked before my imprisonment, there were only a mere twenty quirks with copycat capabilities throughout the whole world. That includes doppelganger quirk types like the one I've heard from the League of Villains. It's no wonder he's frustrated. Too special for his own good, and at the same time, there's no real method on how to maximize his specialty. He has to do it the hard way, trial and error.'
Monoma could be seen throwing his book with fury, the book being far too much information to keep up with. The book bounced off the wall and comically went back and bonked Monoma on the head, knocking him out in his own room. A large swell appeared on his forehead.
'Well…I suppose it's for the best. A prideful boy like him will be an easy enough target for me to make my entrance. Once I'm finished here, it's straight to Kuro for blondie, he'll finally be of use before the end."
'Denki' smirked with a smirk as his eyes glowed ominously. Two magenta orbs pierced into the 1B dorm with a gaze that indicated the malicious intent behind them.
-With Momo and Mina-
The creator checked to see if anyone was watching before locking the door. The room didn't have thin walls, and allowed them to speak freely, however she didn't want to arouse too much suspicion. This also enabled Momo to prepare for the night she had planned.
Mina sweatdropped when she noticed, right next to the window was a telescope, pointed straight towards 1B's dorm. She thought with a deadpan.
'He had a whole telescope for peeking on girls?!'
"How the heck did Minoru get that telescope?!" Mina pointed to Momo. Momo paused in place and became white like a ghost.
Mina raised an eyebrow. Her eyes sparkled in realization. "Now that I think about it, you said Minoru was up at night, and you saw him. That means…weren't you up at night too?"
Momo blushed. Mina appeared to be insinuating something. "It was nothing like that! At least not yet! I tend to stay up late studying. Getting high grades can be a struggle at times!"
Mina chuckled at the irony of Momo's admission. "It's funny hearing that from you of all people. You make it look so easy!"
Momo shook her head in the negative. "What?! Surely you must be joking! It's anything but easy."
Momo averted her eyes from Mina, who was growing suspicious of the usually calm and collected class rep.
Mina narrowed her eyes on Momo. She pointed at Momo in an accusatory manner. "Don't tell me…you went to him for help with assignments too!"
Momo paused in place, her body stiff and white as a ghost. Mina stared agape at Momo's guilty body language.
Mina gasped exaggeratedly. "I knew it!"
Mina laughed at Momo's reaction. It would seem that even brainiacs like Momo struggled with the dreaded school workload.
Momo stammered. "I'm guessing you as well?"
Mina blushed. "Me and Denki stink at Geography…sometimes we go over it with him at lunch…but you! That's just impossible! Your grades are top tier!"
Being that Mineta was smart despite his perverted antics, it would seem that Momo had studied with Mineta, even before they had become an item.
Momo sulked. "Two heads are sometimes better than one…I needed help with art class…it's always been my weakest subject. I just could never have a knack for it no matter how hard I tried to draw. I'm so used to copying things and reciting information I obtain from others, but improvising something on my own isn't my strongest suit. Minoru begged for help with astrology and I figured it was a good exchange since I know how difficult the subject could be."
Mina sweat dropped. "Art? Seriously? That's the easiest class! Even drawing stick figures gets a passing grade! As long as you do it passionately like Midnight would say in class."
Momo blushed guiltily as she pointed at the telescope with a shaking finger. She appeared visibly ashamed, averting her eyes from the scope.
"That…was supposed to be the telescope to give him a hand with astrology. This was shortly after the cheerleader outfit incident at the Sports Festival. It took a few study sessions for me to realize he tricked me a second time. I was gullible enough to not ask the reason behind why he needed it. By then I had stopped coming over…and then he started to increase his unwanted attention."
Mina's jaw dropped at the fact that Momo had actually been interacting with Mineta in such a friendly manner. Among the girls, she was the most willing to reach out to Mineta since before he took on the mantle of Mayhem. This explained a bunch as to why Mineta gravitated to Momo, other than the obvious fact that her body was perhaps the most developed of the class.
'And here I thought it was only a shallow reason why he chased Momo the most.' Mina said, subconsciously looking at her own body and smiling to herself.
'Whew! I was worried over nothing!' Mina sighed in relief before asking a question that was on her mind.
"Did you ever… consider anything happening between you two during those lonely study sessions? Before you and he 'tied the knot' so to speak?"
Momo blinked in thought. She had a faint tinge of red staining her cheeks. The phrase 'tie the knot' reminded her how she and Mineta were literally glued together for their first time, by his amplified quirk no less. Besides that however, the question Mina asked was a good one. Did she ever see Mineta in any romantic way before their first night together?
After composing her thoughts, Momo answered. "To be honest…I…I thought he was brilliant when he wanted to be. The times when he would actually keep his urges in check were the times when I got to see him at his best. I never noticed how focused he could be, and how open minded he was, even when he didn't have a clue what he was doing. Despite his perversion, he was always intelligent and creative, and self assured in ways I never thought I could be. He was…is…quite sharp. I admired that about him then, and still admire that about him now. I didn't think about it then, but now I think, if he controlled himself sooner…and we spent time together long enough, I don't know…maybe…" Momo looked to the side, a bit away from Mina as her mind was focused on the past, as a small smile appeared on the young heroine's face.
'Now that I think about it, I'm happy that things turned out this way. That he decided to improve. Had he not, would we have ever been able to get this opportunity to become…closer?'
Mina gasped. Her black eyes were wide in shock. "Your face says it all! I can't believe I never noticed it before, the way you always defended him the most. You actually had a real interest in the little guy! You have a thing for shorties, don't you?!"
Momo's eyes gazed into the large black orbs of the pink skinned breakdancer and protested. "It has nothing to do with height! It was his intelligence! His intelligence!"
"It's a fetish thing isn't it?! You like having a guy who's smart and pocket sized! I caught you red-handed!" Mina ignored Momo's protests, teasing her with the possibility that Momo might have had a personal preference for shorter boys. Momo's eyes were shadowed at being accused of such a silly thing.
"You make me sound so shallow…do I really seem that way with you?" Momo said, with her cheeks slightly red from the mild embarrassment.
Mina snorted as Momo went back to focus on the plans she had for the night ahead.
With her quirk already activated, Momo began the process of crafting a kinky Santa Claus outfit for herself, placing it on the bed. Its red and black vivid colors are practically the epitome of a passionate yet magnetically seductive gift. Her face, though blushing from the lustfully crafted garb, was also mildly smiling in vivid anticipation.
Mina, while Momo was busy, looked through the telescope and was able to pick up class 1B's dorm rooms. The lights of the dorm were still on for many of the students there, a clear indicator that most were still awake. She could literally see Setsuna jamming to music that emanated from a nearby boombox on her bed. She was performing a guitar playing motion with her hands, using one of her detached legs as the impromptu guitar. She was bobbing her head, flinging her hair wildly with her usual sharp toothed smile in full display, until she tripped since she lacked both legs to balance herself.
Mina snorted to herself at the hilarious sight. She turned back to Momo's direction, wanting to show her what she was seeing. Unfortunately, Mina nearly tripped over some excess spheres on the floor.
Mina raised an eyebrow as she regained her balance.
'Must be some spare spheres Minoru kept on hand. Must be duds by now since they're not even sticky.' Mina noticed before asking Momo something that was still on her mind.
"So about that whole business with class 1C, what happened exactly? You still haven't told me yet."
Momo seemed to collect her thoughts before answering. With a gentle hum, she replied.
"Well…I suppose it's all under the bridge now. It was a month ago. Minoru once snuck out to see the girls of class 1C. There was this unexpected…issue…"
Momo crafted a green elf outfit for Mina. Handing it to Mina, the great Pinky looked at it from the front and back. It made the pink skinned girl blush like a tomato.
'I can't say that I'm completely on board with doing this now so suddenly…but at the same time…it is kind of exciting…this outfit looks so cute!' Mina thought to herself before asking Momo with a giggle.
"What kind of issue? You mean some of the girls of class 1C chased him? That's not so atypical for that to happen. You know how his little escapades wind up." Mina laughed at the thought of Mineta running for his life from an irate class 1C.
-With 'Denki'-
'Denki' took a look at another dorm building, this one bearing the label of class 1C. The electric blonde's magenta tinted eyes were able to perfectly see from long distances, engraving the sights of some of the lesser ranked students.
'From what I know of U.A, the other classes are not as skilled as their class 1B and 1A counterparts, however, it is good to keep track of any notable quirks in case Neito and the girl don't pan out. That…or in case I needed a good body to use…'
His eyes came upon two girls at their dorm, seemingly doing homework together. One possessed slightly sun tanned skin with shoulder length blonde hair. She appeared to be a gyaru, with notably bright colored decorations on her side of the room. That and she possessed an abnormally large bust. Each swerve of the blonde girl made the twins swerve and jiggle. She was lying on her back on her bed, smiling with closed eyes.
'I'd be happy too if I didn't need brains to get far in life. Overgrown fat cow…' 'Denki' thought, with a look of internal seething for the 1C girl. Not only did she pull the look tastefully, but the girl possessed assets not possible for the mass majority of the female population of her age range.
Next to the gyaru, another girl possessed what appeared to be large glasses of sorts. She had dark blue hair, stylized in an extended bowl cut that reached her neckline, and appeared to be more reserved with a light blue long sleeved sweater that covered her top, and a pair of black track pants. She didn't seem to pay as much attention to her appearance as the blonde, as her clothes appeared slightly baggy. They were meant for comfort as opposed to appeal.
The same girl with 'glasses' turned around. She in fact possessed long lenses for eyes. They made immediate contact with 'Denki's' gaze. The girl blushed and covered her eyes shyly.
'Denki' snorted in a haughty manner. "Of course. She has no experience…it would be cute if it weren't so pathetic to be honest."
-With Momo-
Momo looked outside the other window of Mineta's dorm. There, a good five minutes walk away, was the hall of the class 1C dorm. It was across from 1B's dorm, and was just as prominent with the flares of the lights shining past the glass windows. It was obvious that the students there had yet to have fallen asleep.
"That's not what happened…the one who he bumped into…reciprocated…" Momo said with a narrowed gaze. Her eyes appeared to have darkened at the memory, for some reason.
Mina widened her eyes. Her neck whiplashed in shock. "Really?! A class 1C girl…actually reciprocated?!"
-With 'Denki'-
'Denki' noticed the telescope eye girl shake the other girl on the bed, rousing the unknown large breasted blonde from her rest. Pointing towards 'Denki', the telescopic eye girl informed her friend know about their unexpected peeper.
The blonde turned around with narrowed eyes at 'Denki'. The girl appeared to be taller than her friend, and rocked the nonconforming look befitting a true gyaru. With her generous assets, made for an eye-catching view for any boy of her age. Before 'Denki' could react, the blonde of class 1C sent him a beaming smile. More than that, she winked at him. 'Denki' couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.
"That girl looks like she knows what she wants..."
-With Momo-
Momo blushed as she recollected memories of the past. "One of them in particular had a tendency to…shamelessly flaunt herself. The next thing I heard from Kendo was that the rest of class 1C soon grew curious about the whole situation. From what I heard, Tsuyu was the one who put a stop to it from getting worse. Not sure how she did it, but thank goodness for that. Who knows what would have happened if things escalated beyond that. From what I hear, the whole situation is like a dynamite fuse, the slightest provocation would set class 1C off.
-With 'Denki'-
The telescopic eye girl of class 1C waved at 'Denki' shyly. She appeared to be blushing. The more forward blonde pressed her left hand towards her mouth and sent an air kiss at him.
"What the…" 'Denki' said as the girls of class 1C smiled with vibrant giddy smiles. The gyaru girl smiled with pearly whites in his direction, with light blue eyes that appeared to beckon him.
'Is that his girlfriend? This body is definitely attracted to that one. Probably because of her transparent attitude. No need for games with that one. Best to not arouse suspicion. Play along.'
'Denki' waved back at the girls of 1C, attempting to play along to avoid seeming odd.
The two girls appeared to widen their eyes with blushes on their face before looking at each other and nodding. They sauntered out of the dorm. The blonde licked her lips as she walked off, turning around to stretch and intentionally get 'Denki' to see her clothed mammaries begging to be freed. She appeared to give him a simmering stare as she swayed her hips in an intentionally magnetic manner.
'And they call me a body snatcher…she's trouble…' 'Denki' said, somewhat baffled at how increasingly odd these particular girls were.
"Denki!" A voice blared in 'Denki's' ears, making the hunter-like gaze of the blonde shift to a convincing glint of faux innocence.
"Yes, what is it…?" 'Denki' asked as he turned around. Before him was a classmate of 1A, specifically Jiro. The furrowed eyebrows suggested that the musician was irritated. With a prominent vein in her forehead, along with her clenched fists, it appeared that the tomboyish heroine in training was a little more than irritated.
'This body…is getting bothered. He's attracted to this girl…what's her name again…oh yes…Jiro. The fact I can recall her name in this body means she's…special to this little sleeve of mine."
-With Momo-
"I didn't believe Kendo when she said that the girls of 1C were a 'lively' bunch. But I trust her enough to understand the situation. Should be all under the bridge now." Momo said. Mina on the other hand sat on the bed, bouncing on the soft and comfortable mattress.
"Hehe! That's the first I've ever heard of that. Looks like there's another pervert at the school. Who'd have thunk? I suppose we're probably far worse than she is now." Mina said with a toothy grin as she hugged her elf outfit to herself.
Momo had a sweatdrop at what Mina said. To be compared with this unknown class 1C student made her sigh inwardly.
'Considering what we're here for, Mina's got a point…but to be compared to them !'
Momo took a deep breath to mentally shrug aside her frustrations before she then smiled to herself.
'Then again, does it really matter? This is something we want to do. In fact I'm looking forward to this even more.'
"Minoru's going to be so excited when he sees us in this!" Mina said giddily, spinning the elf garment around as she pressed her chest to the top, liking how it looked. It was a cute reaction to the new threads Momo admired.
Momo smiled off at Mina and checked the outside view of the window again, noticing a small figure from her peripherals. Thinking that she noticed Mineta, Momo used the telescope she had made for Mineta previously. Zooming in, she was surprised when she noticed Nejire wandering the campus grounds. Alongside the senior, holding her by the hand, was a silver haired little girl with red eyes. It was Eri. The ever watchful third year and the little girl were outside the dorm. More specifically, they were heading straight for the class 1A dorm. Eri appeared in good spirits, with a cute and excited smile as she came closer to the dorm. Nejire could be seen giggling at Eri's enthusiasm.
Momo raised an eyebrow. "Huh? It looks like Eri is approaching our dorm."
Mina looked alongside her. "Oh? Maybe Eri wanted to see Deku, it's been a while since we've seen her. Deku always did have a close connection with her besides Mirio."
Momo however was specifically staring at Nejire, her eyes literally honing in on Nejire's bust.
BOING
BOING
Momo had a difficult time ignoring Nejire's prominent breasts, jiggling and swerving as she walked. Combined with her toned thighs and vibrant smile made for a wellspring of feminine grace, beauty and even…desire.
Momo was red as she raised a small notebook in front of her. It was the notebook she had written in when she was in the Super Cab.
-Flashback: Chapter: 33-
"What are you writing Momo?" Mina asked, prompting Momo to send her a closed eye smile.
"Oh nothing special, just a reminder for later." Momo stated as she put aside her notebook.
The driver revved the engine to continue driving off. Unknown to the rest of the class, Momo's notebook had a list of names on them.
Among them, Ochaco's name was crossed out, however, Mina's name had a checkmark on it.
-Flashback End-
Momo unveiled the inside of the notebook. There, written in blue, was Nejire's name.
Momo licked her lips as she kept gazing at Nejire's body.
'I never paid much attention to it, but Nejire is extremely pretty. Mineta always looked at her whenever she passed by.'
A notable glint appeared on Momo's eyes, highlighting it in an oddly mischievous sheen.
'I wonder how things would turn out if we invited Jack Frost along for this early Christmas surprise?'
Momo's left nostril was dripping blood as her own lecherous thoughts sped into a tangent of hot lust, making her feel lightheaded. Her smile increasingly upturned in an unusual manner.
'It would be a shame to leave someone like that lonely on a cold night like this. Ehehe.'
Mina noticed the usually upstanding class rep nearly topple to the ground, forcing the pink haired acid user to catch her before she fell.
Mina looked at Momo in concern.
"Momo?! What's gotten into you?" Mina asked as she held Momo upright, keeping her up by wrapping her arms from behind the creator around her midsection. The usually dutiful prodigy was on the verge of collapsing in her mentally overstimulated state.
Momo mumbled with spinning eyes. "I'll do it. It's worth a shot…"
Momo surprised Mina when she immediately stood upright on her own and turned around, as if she hadn't lost her footing in the first place. Mina reached out for her with widened eyes.
"Wait a second! What about Minoru? Weren't we gonna do the whole sexy Christmas Double Glomp Combo when he got back?" Mina asked confusedly, trying to speak with a hushed whisper. She really didn't need anyone else eavesdropping on this conversation. Her face was blushing as she gripped the elf outfit in hand tightly.
Momo blushed as she coughed into her hand. "T-there's something I wanted to take care of first. It won't be long, so just wait there until then, okay?" The class rep said, her face was steaming red.
Mina narrowed her pitch black eyes. The breakdancer grew suspicious.
"You're up to something…I don't know what…but you're acting real fishy Momo!" The fluffy pink headed acid user accused. Momo's distant gaze and mildly lopsided smile was like a mirrored reflection of someone else. It was uncanny.
Mina stood with her left hand on her hip as Momo walked off. She sighed. Maybe she was being paranoid. "Fine…I'll see you when you're done with whatever you gotta do. If somehow Minoru comes back and you're not here, I hope you don't mind me helping myself!"
Mina blushed as she looked away, sucking in her lips in a cute childish expression.
'I can't believe I said that out loud. What is up with me lately?' Mina reflected.
Momo stopped at the room entrance with her hand on the thick wooden door. Her back was facing Mina. "Don't worry."
Momo turned her face towards the pinkette. An unlikely glaze took her eyes, one that reminded Mina of a certain boy.
Momo spoke with a lustful glint. The lighting of a nearby lamplight made her expression appear ominous.
"By the time I'm done, we might be able to turn this double surprise into a triple." Momo said before winking and heading off, leaving Mina stumped.
"A…a triple?! But Monika isn't here…unless…" Mina said before her eyes widened in shock. She grabbed her cranium.
"She…she's gonna bring someone else?! Who?!" The great Pinky squeaked with a bewildered expression.
Outside the dorm, Momo could be seen speed walking down the hall, with her breath coming out as steam as she went. Unbeknownst to her, a lone figure could be seen on top of the roof of the same hallway. Momo, with her tunnel vision of blatant desire, had not noticed this.
The figure above was crawling on the rooftop, using her larger than usual fingers to keep herself anchored to the surface.
A large curtain of dark sea green colored hair dropped downward as the usually inexpressive face of Tsuyu stared at Momo with a sweating, blushing expression. Her pupils or fidgeting in place, a sign that she had heard or witnessed something that shook her to her core.
'I can't believe I heard all of that! Did I hear that correctly?! There's a third girl?!'
GRIP
CRACK
Tsuyu's grip on the ceiling accidentally left a small crack against the plaster of the roof, making the frog girl snap out of it to notice the damage she unintentionally did.
The reason she reacted in such a way was something the young amphibian girl couldn't dare admit. It was too much, too heavy for her usually calm mind to handle. Within the depths of her calm mind were the instincts of a female frog, looking to stake her claim. Claim what exactly? That was what made Tsuyu shiver in place. To accept these growing sensations and emotions was becoming a burden on her usually clam and collected psyche.
'Three girls…how does that even work?!'
Tsuyu, in her bewildered state, released herself from the roof, collapsing onto the rugged floor with a messy thud.
-With 'Denki'-
"You didn't just look over at class 1C again did you?!" Jiro asked with a vein on her forehead. Her eyes narrowed in suspicion.
"What?" 'Denki' asked, possessing a legitimately confused expression.
'Again? So that class 1C girl wasn't his girlfriend. Just some random eye candy. Looks like I misunderstood something…'
"Don't play dumb with me! I swear, you and Mineta would play dumb when it comes to those girls! What is your fixation with that damn class of weirdos anyway! Didn't you learn anything from last time?!" Jiro said with steam on her forehead.
'There's that name again. Mineta. Looks like this body and his friend are quite the duo. A bunch of horn dogs. Typical of boys at this age. I'd been inside enough boys to understand their urges and wants. Maybe they wouldn't have to peep if this girl had something to actually grab in the first place…'
'Denki' was surprised when Jiro pulled him by the ear. Jiro had noticed the lack of attention that the blonde was giving her. Considering the fragility of this moment, she wanted to make something clear to the troublesome blonde.
"Ow ow ow ow! Get off me!" 'Denki' whined, his eyes tinted magenta in response to the shearing pain registered in his pinched ear. Despite Jiro's small body, she possessed admirable strength in her fingers.
'Dammit! This girl nearly made me lose my grip on this damn body!'
"Give me an attitude will you? And c'mon I didn't even grab you that hard. And what's with your voice, it's a lot more higher pitched than usual!" Jiro said with mild agitation.
Jiro let 'Denki' go. She had yet to have figured out that this was in fact not the boy she knew. Jiro sighed exasperatedly, with her hand on her face as she attempted to quell her rage. She shrugged off the tone of 'Denki's' voice and continued.
"Never mind. Don't you remember the last time you and Mineta peeked at the class 1C girls?! We already have enough beef with them as is! We're practically hanging by a thread with those freaks. We don't need to rouse them up again! It's bad enough one of those floozies happens to be a hall monitor, now you want to relive all that hell again?! You know what Tsuyu did that almost resulted in a whole class brawl?! Do you Denki?!"
'Nowhere in that book Diamondeye had did he mention class 1A having an issue with class 1C. Must be out of jealousy, especially considering this angry washboard.' 'Denki' analyzed. He analyzed before playing innocent.
'Just say what she wants to hear…'
"Of course not, you're the only one for me Jiro!" 'Denki' said without missing a step.
Jiro stood there dumbly. Her angry face stiffened in place, slowly shifting to a startled and wide eyed expression. Her face became a vibrant red.
"W-w-what?!" Jiro asked with a shaky breath. It was a good thing no one else was within ear shot to witness her losing her composure like this.
'Denki' leaned forward. His face inches from Jiro's. The rocker took a nervous trip back as 'Denki' took initiative. He whispered in her ear. "In fact, let's get out here and go someplace where I can show you how much you mean to me…" Jiro stood there in shock as Denki, her Denki, placed a hand on hers as he steered her away.
'Not the first time I had to play this game. Just have to lure this girl to her room, fifteen minutes and she'll be out like a light.'
"T-the hell you mean Denki?! What's gotten into you?! What are you saying?!" Jiro stammered with a flushed face. Her earlier focus on Mineta and class 1C took a backseat as a result of Denki's forward demeanor.
DING DONG
A faint ring emanated from downstairs, making Jiro's head snap towards the entrance of the dorm. With a reddened face she mumbled. "T-there's someone at the door…"
"Then I'll leave you to it. It might be for you-"
"N-no way. It's most likely Eri." Jiro said with a stutter, but her eyes bespoke her refusal to let Denki get away now.
Some of the other dorm doors opened, with the members of class 1A peeking through through their rooms.
"Huh? Someone's at the door?" Kirishima could be heard calling from his dorm, with a toothbrush on his mouth. His large teeth glared in shiny whites as he spoke past his teeth.
Shouji, holding a book in his hand, raised an eyebrow. "Who could it be at this time? Didn't think we'd have visitors now."
Bakugo, who had been sulking earlier, slammed his dorm room door open, striding with a prideful grin. "Well look who decided to come crawling back to the big guy for a second time! Tell Manumei it's over between us and I've already moved on!"
Sero could be seen in a pair of shorts and a white shirt as he deadpanned in response to Bakugo. "Dude…there is no way that's gonna be Mineta's little sister. She's a little girl, man! Only someone with no shame would come all the way out here just for something like that!"
Bakugo's face flushed. Due to his prideful personality, the blonde was not used to being rejected yet. He had almost forgotten that technically there was nothing between him and Manumei to begin with. "S-shut up! I know that!"
Unknown to Sero, Jiro's dorm room door also opened, revealing a red sphere headed infant who snuck from Sero's gaze, sticking to the tables and chairs to avoid detection. It was Minimu, who like a master of stealth glided past the much taller and distracted boys. Minimu grinned as he went, taking advantage of all the commotion in order to navigate his way to his target.
Aoyama, who had been recovering from his dodgeball-battered condition on the lounge, looked from his sofa down to the entrance at the lobby of the dorms.
"La porte! (A/n: Means "the door" in French) Someone arrives at the edge of twilight!" said the laser hero in training, informing the others.
"*Yawn* and here I was just about to head to sleep…Haven't we been through enough." Toru could be heard wandering in bunny-themed pajamas.
Ochaco could be seen staggering herself from her dorm. Unknowable large ice pack was placed against her noggin, in a desperate attempt to keep the swelling down from her tumble down the stairs. Unseen by all, a ring of floating Deku's spin around her head in her currently delirious state.
"Ow…is it Deku? I m-mean, maybe it's something important! We s-should answer it!" Ochaco said through squinted eyes, being that she was still enduring the throbbing ache on the top of her head.
Koda stepped out of his dorm, massaging his eyes as he stepped out groggily. Upon noticing a large tailed figure in the form of Ojiro, he narrowly hid behind the door to his room. He was holding a stuffed bear that he clearly used in order to sleep. The animal speaker was shaking as Ojiro went past him without apparently noticing the animal whisperer.
When Koda thought he was in the clear, Ojiro paused in place.
"Don't try anything..." Ojiro said with a low pitched growl. His tail flexed in response, causing Koda to sweat profusely.
As for 'Denki', he couldn't help but smile a sinister cold smile, away from Jiro's eyesight.
'Looks like fate is on my side tonight. All it takes is a glimpse.' 'Denki' thought to himself, whilst more and more of class 1A walked in their pajamas.
"Denki, listen!" Jiro said, knocking 'Denki' from his thoughts. He smiled with a faux interest.
"We're going to have to keep her company since Deku is not here. With Deku gone, she's gonna gravitate to you the most. You know how much this means for Eri." Jiro said with a sweat drop.
Tokoyami could be heard mumbling to himself, passing Jiro as he went. "Eri is here? I suppose I can stay awake just a little bit more."
'Denki' raised an eyebrow at Jiro's suggestion. With many of the class 1A students awakening, he didn't understand why he was singles out. "Me? Why me personally?"
Jiro scoffed. "Duh! Because you're the most happy go lucky guy here. You already know about her past. After everything she's been through, she's gonna gravitate to those who treat her with tenderness and make things more optimistic. That's what Deku and Mirio seem to have in common, so you're gonna have to fill in since after them, you're the next best thing. That and you're the best when it comes to making people feel safe…."
Jiro looked to the side, averting her eyes from Denki. "It's…your best quality."
'Denki' smiled in a faux innocent manner. "Of course, how could I forget? Then if you'll excuse me."
'A perfect excuse for me to get to the girl. Won't be anything suspicious about me getting close to her.'
Before the blonde could make his way to the door, Jiro's face tinted red as she stammered. "Wait…"
Jiro gulped and added shyly. "I'm gonna be with you. I could play her a few songs in my room to keep us all…entertained. At least until she starts getting sleepy."
'What's wrong with me?…I am still feeling a little weird from what Denki said earlier.'
'Denki' clenched his jaw in clear irritation before nodding begrudgingly, unknown to Jiro. Jiro eyes lit up, with slightly rosy cheeks as she grabbed him by the hand and said "Well okay! It's a date! Let's go!"
With a pull, Jiro dragged 'Denki' downstairs. Jiro didn't know how to explain it but she felt somewhat elated when 'Denki' agreed to her plan.
'I feel so…warm…why did I say it like that? 'It's a date?!' I'm so stupid!' Jiro thought to herself, consciously taking note of her hand on 'Denki's'.
'It's…it's warm…' Jiro noticed. She audibly gulped in response to her own thoughts, picking up how focused she was on an otherwise insignificant detail.
As Jiro and Denki made their way to the stairs, Tsuyu was walking down the hall of the second floor, with a notable drained expression. The shock of Mineta having yet another girlfriend was too much for the frog girl. Dressed in her pajama consisting of a long light green robe, the mutant girl appeared bothered by her recent discovery that she had heard from Momo and Mina.
"Three girls…since when did Minoru even have the time for that? That can't be possible for a boy of his size…right?" Tsuyu mumbled to herself confusedly. It was already pushing it for Mineta to have two girlfriends consisting of Momo and Mina of all people, but a third? That's just impossible for anyone to deal with, least of all someone of Mineta's small size.
'At this rate, is it another girl from class 1A? I don't think I could take the shock of having another classmate being in a relationship with Minoru. I mean, who's next?! Jiro? Ochaco? How much has been going recently?'
Before the frog girl could wrap her head around this clear cosmic imbalance, she noticed Jiro dragging 'Denki' downstairs. 'Denki', who was being pulled by the admittedly strong arms of Jiro, turned and noticed Tsuyu.
Their eyes met. All around them came to an immediate halt.
(A/n: Que slow motion)
The background became a blur as Tsuyu's eyes met 'Denki's'. Her usually stoic and calm eyes peered into the pupils 'Denki' possessed.
Tsuyu felt her body immediately shudder. With it came a wave that sent goosebumps all across her skin. It was such an immediate reaction, one that the mutant never felt before.
(A/n: *Que Boku no Academia Ost- "It Sounds Scary At Midnight"*)
There was a distance in the eyes of 'Denki', an imperceptible emptiness within his gaze that didn't see people. The usual vibrancy of life 'Denki' possessed, was for some reason, absent. In its place was a stare that matched that of a thousand yard stare, the blank, unfocused gaze of combatants who have become emotionally detached from the traumatizing events around them. A look of permanent disassociation, save for one detail.
The mild enlargement of the pupils held within it a chill that only Tsuyu could register. It was as if 'Denki' relished in this fractured state of being. It was an odd feeling that Tsuyu picked up. The sensation of pins and needles plucked at the rim of her eyes, making them instinctively narrow to shield herself from whatever rays came from 'Denki's' pupils. What 'Denki' possessed was the gaze of a husk-like lifelessness. And at the same time it was clearly 'Denki' who possessed these near dead, cold eyes.
It was only for a split second. But Tsuyu tilted her head in visual concern at 'Denki'.
'What…what was that just now? Is something wrong…with Denki?' Tsuyu thought to herself in confusion, startled by the sensation she just picked up from the electric blonde.
As for 'Denki' himself, he turned away immediately from Tsuyu. A sudden magenta tint colored violently in his eyes, away from Tsuyu and Jiro's view, but an obvious coloration to anyone who was able to see them.
'Denki's eyebrows furrowed in clear visual anger.
'…I've been spotted…'
-Musutafu Outskirts: Road-
Papito galloped with Mineta and Moe still on his back. They had been riding for the better part of an hour. Though still a bit a ways off, they reached ever closer to the city limits.
"How far are we dad?" Mineta asked his father who let out a deep exhale of steamy breath.
"About halfway. I would fly like before but my body is still shaking from whatever that Harukaze did to the air. Sorry about that kiddo!" Papito apologized, as his slime textured hooves clocked against the paved road.
Mineta shook his head in the negative. "It's cool dad. I'm just glad we made it in time. I never thought my spheres could pick up things like someone I cared about being in danger. In fact there are many things I haven't learned about my quirk."
Papito nodded. "There's all sorts of things people don't know about their quirks. Believe it or not, your mother once said that at Musutafu Medical League, there was this theory. I think it was called…Burning Theory?"
Moe peeled over Mineta's shoulder. "Yes?"
Papito shook his head. "No, not you Burnin. Oh! I remember it now! It was called Torchbearer Theory."
Mineta's eyes opened in recollection.
'Aizawa mentioned that in class…'
-Flashback: Chapter 22-
"There was one other theory about quirks that was controversial at the time, called 'Torchbearer Theory' where it claimed that quirks are only activated with precise triggers, at specific preassigned points in time. Those who support it believed that quirks were inherently designed to spring out only when necessary. As if to fulfill a certain purpose."
…
"Another more interesting part of the theory was that for every quirk born, another quirk is born as a form of natural counter. This was taken down because there simply was no real concrete evidence to back this theory. It just wasn't applicable with so many diverse quirks, since none can tell what's a counter among billions of people. Most believed it sounded like a divine fallacy as opposed to being logically sound and held no real means of holding up to scientific counterarguments."
-Flashback End-
"Not sure exactly what specifically for, but one of the tenants of that theory was that for every quirk born, it has a natural opposite to cancel it out. Perhaps your quirk awakened in response to something specific that you were doing, or in response to another." Papito theorized before shrugging aside his thoughts.
"By the way, I'm proud of you, Mino! You really made quite a heroic entrance at the prison, eh?" Papito, despite being in his slime form, nudged his son's side with a slime tendril that came from Papito's horse-shaped head.
Mineta smiled in a shy manner, massaging the back of his head as he took the praise. "Aw come on it was nothing dad!"
Moe grinned toothily at Mayhem. Her hands held onto the slime reins that navigated Papito. "You just practically saved Monika and All Might. I'd say 'good work' is an understatement."
Papito raised a conspiratorial eyebrow towards his son. "See that kiddo? One of your top heroines is giving you a compliment!"
Mineta's face blushed before he tried to shut his dad's large horse lips with a hand. He muttered under his breath. "No, don't say that out loud!"
Moe's eyes sparked in interest. "Oh really? A local legend has been looking into me?"
She then notably blushed. She looked to the side, with her grin still flared, giving her an oddly giddy facial expression. "I didn't expect someone like you to be a fan. Even though I work as a pro hero sidekick, finding a dedicated fan can be hard to come across. What exactly do you know about me?"
Mineta gulped. He cleared his throat. "I…I know about where you used your quirk to combat Blizzago. About eleven years ago. So many heroes and citizens were frozen solid at Musutafu Central Park."
Moe's eyes blinked as recollection was etched in her face. Her grin had dropped, as her eyes averted from Mineta. She seemed mildly uncomfortable, anxious even.
"Then you showed and used your hair as a passive heater in a whole block radius. You held him off for hours, but by then, he was all out, and everyone was freed by the warmth of your fire."
Moe's eyes turned to Mineta. A small grin was on her face as she spoke. "That was…my first debut. Most people have already forgotten about that. Heck knows I practically did myself. I never really advertised it since day one since it was such a messy job. I was late you see, and most of the credit was made for the pros who did all the heavy work. It was a one time thing, and I didn't even have a hero name at the time. Plus I had a cold for a whole month after that!"
Mineta was geeking out as he continued, looking past whatever insecurities the green flaming sidekick had about her debut. His voice was laced with wonder and passion.
"But wasn't that how you got the name Burnin? You literally burned him out, and freed the citizens from their ice prisons. That was badass!"
Mineta's praise made Moe feel self conscious. Moe bashfully said."Aw come on! It was nothing! That was me as a starter hero at best. I've done way better things since. I mean, compared to a guy who faced and won against that Harukaze creep, I'm sure I seem at least underwhelming to a guy with a name like 'Mayhem'."
Mineta blushed shyly. It was hard to speak about his overwhelming knowledge of all heroines of the hero world. He had feared he might have been a little intrusive with his retelling of her debut. "Well…considering your quirk I found it was the most inspiring to me. You took your quirk and used it so creatively. A bit rough around the edges, but against an ice quirk, that was amazing! After all I have a hair based quirk too and always feared my quirk being lame in comparison to others."
Moe laughed at Mineta's claim that his quirk was lame.
"What? No way! I'm totally digging the hairdo, honey! In fact I like how symmetrical it is! And a mohawk at that!" Moe complimented, giving his spheres a gentle pat.
"What's your secret?" Moe teased, making Mineta snort.
"Plenty of water! Those babies need a lot of H2O to grow that big!" Mineta said.
Papito nodded. "It's true! Our family needs that 'aqua purificata' to maintain our exotic features." This caused Moe to snicker on response.
"Oh, silly me! The grape head hero needs his water. I should've known! Hehe!"
Mineta chuckled with her before he looked at her flowing flame locks. He asked her a question that has been on his mind.
"Hey, about your hair…does it hurt?" Mineta asked, looking at the flaming locks of the pro level sidekick. Moe tilted her head before grinning.
"Oh honey you are really sweet, being concerned about little old me. Don't worry, this hairdo of mine is only dangerous when I want it to bring the heat. But you're cool, so no need to fear. Why? I bet you want to feel it!" Moe said, narrowing her eyes mischievously.
Mineta has to admit, he was always curious about those green flame locks of hers. To get a chance to actually touch them was something else entirely.
Moe guided Mineta's hand to her green hair. Her face had small bits of red coating her cheeks as she did so.
To Mineta, he thought his hands would burn at the touch. Instead, he was surprised when he found that Burnin's neon green locks were warm, casting a soothing sensation that graced his hands with the gentle sways of heat.
"Oh my God…it's so cozy! Like a campfire." Mineta gushed. Moe smirked widely.
"You like it?" Moe couldn't help but ask.
"How can I not! It's so soft and inviting. I like how green it is too! Not many fire types use different colored flames. I always heard that's rare."
Moe let out a sigh of relief.
"I used to be insecure about it for a long time, cutting it down excessively until it was nothing more than a pixie cut. I learned later that it's a part of me that I shouldn't have to feel ashamed of, after the whole Blizzago incident. It taught me to accept who I was and to stop running from it. Now, I'm totally rocking the look!"
Moe placed a slender hand on Mineta's hair, feeling the bouncy sensation of the spheres on the small heroes' head.
"So don't ever say your quirk is lame. It's part of you. It's not always about how explosive it is, it's also how you best use it. And to be honest…we should totally trade hair secrets! Just between us!" Moe said with her eyes leering deep into Mineta's, practically losing herself in the moment as her face nearest his. Her fiery and enthusiastic nature complimented Mineta's own passionate and forward nature.
Mineta and Moe gave each other large grins. Moe's green hair flared in response to her heightened emotions, while Mineta was blushing in the face as he smiled back at her.
Moe, realizing how close she was to Mineta's face, blushed and pulled her head back, clearing her throat.
"Thank you…" Moe whispered. Mineta raised an eyebrow.
"For what?"
Moe bit her lip before turning back at him with a benevolent grin.
"For reminding me what made me the badass hero I am today. I'm so used to working as a sidekick that I sometimes forget how much people appreciate me. I needed that confidence boost. Hehe!"
Unknown to the two conversing heroes, Papito was keeping a mental note.
'I better let Mamira know that we might have need to make room for a fourth daughter!' Papito thought enthusiastically.
RUMBLE
A quake could be felt rippling within the ground. Papito paused in place mid sprint, to stop himself from collapsing from the lack of balance.
Mineta nearly fell off his horse shaped dad, until Moe gripped him tightly against her embrace. A look of concern was on her face at the sensation of what appeared to be a mild earthquake-like tremor.
"What the heck was that?" Moe asked, before Papito looked to the left, where vast amounts of trees could be seen. They were at least at the halfway point between the prison and the actual city, allowing them to see the many acres of nature that lies beyond the roads.
"If I didn't know any better I'd say that it came from this direction." Papito pointed. Being a slime, the slime father was able to use 'feelers' in order to pick up the source of sounds and vibrations.
Mineta raised an eyebrow. "What's over there? Is it an earthquake?"
Papito shook his head in the negative. "No, more like a…"
Papito's eyes widened.
"GET DOWN!"
TACKLE
Papito was toppled over by an unseen figure. It's velocity prevented the three from noticing its shape or its identity, overwhelming Papito's balance until he was flung a few feet away.
Moe, in response to the sudden tackle, used her flaming hair to literally unleash a flaming burst that propelled her upward, avoiding Papito's large mass crushing her, with Mineta in her arms.
Moe skid away from the impact, with Papito transforming back into a small ball shaped slime. He turned towards Mineta.
"Moe, Minoru! Get out of here! Something's wrong!" The grape father warned his son.
Only for a shadowed figure to appear within the night haze. Whatever it was, it appeared to be the size of a normal man. Bearing black tendrils that twitched and curled as it stalked the three.
SLITHER
It slowly approached. Papito turned back with wide eyes.
It was coming for him!
Mineta pounced. His spheres shook rapidly in response to his father being in imminent danger. Detangling himself from Moe, Mineta tossed three spheres at breakneck speed, catapulting towards the unknown monstrosity before him.
With a mental command the spheres exploded, wrapping around the assailant in a dome of purple tinted tar.
CHOMP
CHOMP
"What the hell?" Mineta said. His eyes fixated at the sight of the dark figure that was literally eating his jam.
GHGHGHGHGH
It spasmed in place, letting a out a notable hum. It was satisfied. Indigo tinted particles flared off its frame as it turned towards Mineta's direction. It bared its tendrils at him.
The figure lurched in a zigzag manner, speeding to and fro as an evasive maneuver. Papito used his slime tendrils to try to grab it, only to find that it tore off his slime tendrils.
Papito and the black figure hastily struck each other with small tendrils, quickly outmaneuvering one another in rapid fire strikes.
Where Papito would dash in his slime form, the odd form would leap and strike the road with a powerful ground shattering shake.
CRUMBLE
Mineta noticed that the figure simply slithered past Papito before his dad could seal it within a dome of his slime. It was quick, too quick.
Moe grabbed a fistful of her hair and fired off a bursting ball of green flame. It detonated right on target, causing the figure to spasm in response to the pain of the hot concentrated fires.
It took a defensive stance, narrowly escaping Moe's hurled balls of fire before gripping her waist with a larger black tendril. Moe shaped her green hair into a fiery blade.
SHING
SIZZLE
And freed herself with one slice. The large black tendril was sliced apart under her quick reaction.
GRIP
Papito gripped the black mass with a swarm of his tendrils. His purple slime whips held it in place.
"Moe! Mind giving me a hand!" Papito called to Burnin, who immediately followed through with a large fiery hurl that sizzled the air before it combusted against the black mass.
BOOM
CRACKLE
Papito and Moe backed away from the explosion.
HISS
"Whatever that thing is….it's still alive!" Papito said.
Moe sweatdropped. "It doesn't seem to regenerate, but it doesn't know when to quit."
It then split apart. A huge chunk of the odd black mass was left behind to burn from the green flames that were glued to its side. The smaller piece sprinted almost desperately.
BOOST
It moved with the speed of a bullet, practically gliding through the air as a small pitch black projectile. Straight towards Papito.
Before Papito could even think to act, he noticed a small form that was his son intercepting the mysterious attacker.
SHLICK
Mineta used three spheres to develop a dome of jam that cocooned around the black mass, catching it like a fly in a net.
Mineta grit his teeth as he struggled to hold it. It was strong, and was swerving and thrashing within its confines.
"Mino!" Papito called in cocern.
"It's fine dad! I got this!" Mineta said.
CHOMP
CHOMP
His eyes widened as the small black mass began eating the jam around it. Within a few seconds it silenced.
BURST
Before it shredded its way past the jam dome.
It turned while catapulting itself midair.
BASH
Mayhem felt something strike him from the side. From his vision he could see Moe and Papito turn to his direction in avid concern as he was literally lifted away, flying deep into the trees nearby that were off the road to Musutafu.
Moe could be seen following after him with Papito on her back. The fire haired heroine began flying herself with her hair like a jet.
"Hang on Minoru! I'm not losing anyone else tonight!" Moe said with a scowl towards the black mass that took him.
SNAP
CRACK
Mineta felt his body collide with thin branches before the black mass slammed harshly against the bark of a tall tree. It was only a split second but Mineta was able to see residual green sparks of Moe's quirk and trails of his purple jam sticking to its hide.
It was falling apart due to the wounds it was enduring. It dropped Mineta.
He found himself collapsing through a few branches on his way down, in order to cushion himself, Mineta made a large sphere air bag and slid himself inside it, anchoring himself within its membrane. He had to hold his breath, since he had never been inside a sphere before and forgot that it was filled with his own quirk.
SLAM
Upon landing against the leafy ground, Mineta attempted to break free from his air bag, using his hands to peel away the membrane.
SLICE
Until something from the outside did it for him. In front of him was the black mass, twirling and slithering sporadically.
HISS
It immediately wrapped a black tendril around him and pulled him out of the enlarged sphere. Up close Mineta could see that it had no face, no identity. It was just a moving amalgamation of tendrils and tar like ooze.
He pulled a sphere from his head and sprayed some jam against this creature. Mentally commanding his quirk to melt, his jam began boiling against its frame. He was released as the mass twitched and squealed in agony.
Mineta groggily got up before turning around.
It was an unusual shape, molded in a shroud of pitch black velvet ooze. Looking down at him, the seemingly void tinted translucent mass analyzed him.
Oddly enough, it seized its momentum.
"Ha…ha…ha…"
It sounded odd. As if he heard…pained laughter…or sobbing.
The mass began lifting itself off the ground. It's form tightened as it prepared for another strike. But that wasn't what concerned Mineta. What did make him widen his eyes was the fact that this thing could fly. Defying gravity, it raised itself a few inches off the ground. It's tendrils retreated to its original form, spherical, yet clearly looking towards him. It was like a living wellspring.
As Mineta stepped backwards, he noticed that his foot was glued to a small piece of the creature.
It was connected to the larger mass.
PULL
With a surprising amount of strength, Mineta was pulled forward against his will, while the mass leaped towards him.
Mineta had to act fast!
Even despite the bits of smoke that charred it's mangled frame, despite it practically falling apart from its own weight, the oddity possessed enough will to survive.
SHASHLICK
SCHLOCK
And strike its intended target.
