Revan led Obi-Wan to his quarters within the temple, a serene space filled with the calming aura of the Force. He gestured for Obi-Wan to take a seat, settling down across from him.
-"Obi-Wan, before we begin your training, there's a Jedi tradition I'd like to observe." Revan said gently, taking a small, ceremonial braid and a few clips from a nearby table.
-"This braid signifies your status as a Padawan, a learner. It represents your commitment to learning the ways of the Force and becoming a Jedi Knight."
Obi-Wan nodded, his gaze fixed on Revan as the latter skillfully braided his hair, securing the end with the clips. As Revan finished, a sense of camaraderie and trust bloomed between them.
-"Now, let us create the master-padawan bond through meditation." Revan suggested, guiding Obi-Wan through the process. They sat in quiet contemplation, allowing their connection to deepen through the Force.
When the meditation concluded, Revan began Obi-Wan's training, focusing on the new Jedi code and emotional balance.
-"The Jedi Code reflects our principles. It's about understanding emotions, not suppressing them. Feelings like fear, anger, and love are part of us. The key is balance, to not let them control us." Revan explained.
Obi-Wan listened attentively, absorbing Revan's words. "Emotions in balance for peace," he repeated silently to himself, striving to understand.
Revan then moved to the practice room, initiating saber training sessions. He handed Obi-Wan his training lightsaber and activated his own, the blades humming to life.
-"Soresu, the defensive form. It focuses on maintaining one's guard, redirecting attacks, and conserving energy," Revan began, demonstrating the elegant motions.
-"It's not just about defense but waiting for the right moment to strike."
Obi-Wan mirrored Revan's movements, his focus sharpening as he practiced the precise blocks and counters.
-"Djem So, the aggressive form. It uses an opponent's strength against them, channeling their attacks into powerful strikes." Revan explained as they transitioned to a new stance, emphasizing Djem So's controlled aggression.
Obi-Wan followed Revan's lead, learning the fluid movements and the controlled power behind each strike.
-"And now, Jar'Kai, the dual wielding form. It's about versatility, using two blades for offense and defense simultaneously." Revan continued, igniting a second lightsaber and showcasing the unique style.
Obi-Wan observed with keen interest as Revan demonstrated the art of Jar'Kai, the intricate interplay between two lightsabers.
-"You'll need to master Soresu for defense, Djem So for offense, and Jar'Kai for adaptability." Revan said. "These forms will prepare you for the challenges ahead, to protect others and yourself."
Obi-Wan practiced diligently, absorbing Revan's guidance. He felt a newfound sense of purpose and determination, his movements becoming more fluid and confident.
As their training session concluded, Revan regarded Obi-Wan with pride. "Your progress is impressive, Obi-Wan. Remember, balance and mastery of these forms will shape you into a well-rounded Jedi Knight."
Obi-Wan nodded, grateful for Revan's guidance.
"Thank you, Master." he replied earnestly, feeling more assured in his journey ahead.
