Dodger got up from breaking into the train and began to make his way to his sister. The train seems empty without the passengers or goons.
He entered the room ahead. There was no light to see anything and it reminded of the confrontation from last night. Weary of an ambush, he went carefully to the next door.
"Help...please help..." A weak male voice spoke out.
Arms bursting on fire, Dodger wasn't going to get fooled. He went to blast where the voice came from. Thanks to the light of the fire of his arms, he saw a cage big enough for an animal.
Lowering down, Dodger covers his mouth. "Son of a bitch."
--
Dodger look up at Taz, staring into its red irises. He glance at Ned, Babs, and the other civilians as well as Brio.
"You bastard. You killed those people at the train station."
"I did the world a favor and took them out."
"You'll pay for it."
"You sure about that" Dr. Brio chuckled. "I'm sure your sister would mind."
Looking at his sister, his heart beat started to race. Babs look at herself and found red slime covering her right and left arm.
Dr. Tropy shook his head. "Impossible! She never ate the food on this train! How is she infected."
Taz laughed that was ticking the Hero off. "I infect her while you watched the fireworks."
"Mother fucker!"
Dodger pounced on the Tasmanian Tiger, punching him on the snout. But Taz grab him by the torso, slamming him up on the ceiling and down on the floor.
"You want the doc, you gotta go through me."
Taz punched Dodger through the door, back into the previous room. Before the bipedal animal went in, he was hit in the chest with a beam of fire. The Hero look at the hole through the Tiger's midsection.
Only for it to regenerate back to normal.
"Oh, you've done it now" said Taz with a smile of his big sharp teeth.
Making a plan in his head, Dodger retreat to a cart behind him. The Beast follow him through two rooms.
As the two were busy, Ned and Cookie turned to Brio, who was too distracted by the fight that he didn't the Best Friends itch closer to him.
"Now!" Said Ned as they leap at the Doctor.
In time, he clashed his beakers together and disappeared in a cloud of green smoke, laughing at them.
"Dammit!" Simon slammed his hand on the floor.
In the second room, it was empty. Taz sniff around the seats and look under the tables. He didn't find the Hero. "Where are you, coward?!"
Outside, underneath the train, Dodger crawled back to the cart the people were at. Before going in, he blasts the cart connection, melting the metal and stopping it from following the train.
Entering the cart, the passengers were relieved. But he didn't care as he went over to his sister.
"Dr. Tropy, how did she get infected?"
"I guess by contact while we watch...what happened at the train station. The food was contaminated. That's how he got the people sick."
"Is there a cure."
Tropy shook his head. "There's nanobots in her body. Unless we can get Brio's controller, no."
Dodger punched the window, breaking the glass. "I need to know where that bastard is!"
"I got you" said Simon, taking out a pair of black glasses and a hand mouse. Through the glasses, he hacked into the cameras of the train. "Oh no!"
"What, Cookie?" Missy asked.
"There's a bomb on here." He answered, scrolling through the footage till he made it to the front where the pilots were driving.
Except, they weren't driving the train. They were dead. Brio was there, waving at the camera. He presses on the speed pedal, causing the train to jerk and increase in dangerous speed.
"Found him! Get to front of the train!"
Dodger nods at Cookie and glances at Babs, holding the left side of her face. "I gotta go. I'm gonna save you."
"Mr. Felix, I have a colleague who is creating an antidote to destroy those nanobots without harming your sister. We'll be meeting at the train station."
"No, you won't" said Dodger, opening the door to the cart ahead of him.
"Dodger, what are you doing?!" Barbara yelled as the rest of the passengers watched him with his arm on fire.
"Barbara, I'll meet you at home. Doc, please save her. She's my hero."
Tearing up, Barbara closed the door as she watched her brother melt the connection, watching the cart slow down to a halt.
Unfortunately, he also saw Taz on top of the cart, leaping right at him. Dodger went inside in time before the Tasmanian Tiger broke inside.
"You can't escape me!"
"I tried. But you're right. I can't escape you. If I'm dying on this train, you're dying with me."
"Bring it on!"
The two charge into battle, dodging each other's attacks. The Hero punched the Tiger with full force, knocking it back a little. Taz retaliated by swiping his sharp claws, only to gaze his enemy's chest and face.
"Everything I do, he'll heal up. Maybe he'll die with the bomb. I gotta make it to see the time on it."
"Dodger, I got a plan" said Gabrielle, who appeared next to him.
"I'm all ears."
The Icy Fairy planted her lips on him as frost covered the windows and Taz's vision. He tried to see what happened until he received a hard punch in the face.
"What the!"
More jabs hit the Tiger in the face and torso. Dodger was covered in solid ice when he inserted the right arm into the mouth of Taz. He proceeds to shoot a beam of ice into the insides. The Tiger couldn't grab the Hero as his body started to freeze all over.
When the whole body frozen, Dodger right in front of the one known as Coconut Head. "What killed the dinosaurs?"
With a flick to the nose, he watched the former tiger crumble into ice cubes.
"The ice age."
Dodger made his way to the techno cart where the bomb was. Examining it, he saw the time on it.
2 minutes.
Running to the front of the train, Dodger was trying to think of a plan. "This may be the craziest idea. But it has to work."
Using his ice beam attack, he froze the windshield and broke it, trying not to fall down from the blast of wind entering the room.
Dodger hit the train tracks with the ice beam when the curve was on the way. The train started to shake as the wheels were on the slippery tracks.
His plan worked and the train slipped off the tracks, heading down in Lake Michigan. He wouldn't have time to escape as he took the two dead pilots and a big breath as the water entered through the broken windshield.
After two minutes, the techno train explodes in the water.
Watching in the wood nearby was Dr. Brio, smiling at what he saw. "Today was failure. It's the progress of my plan. At least, I won't see you again, Dodger. Merry Christmas in Hell."
