During her time away, she crosses paths with the Dixon brothers. They're polar opposites in every way but Brianne trusts him. What will happen when the Dixons and Brianne arrive at the quarry? And just how serious will things get?

..Daryl/Beth.. S4. It's been just them for fifty four days. Fifty four days of getting closer. Fifty four days of walking, still trying to find any of their family, still trying to not just survive. But to live. Fifty four days before Beth starts coughing and Daryl knows that he'll do anything to get them another fifty four days together.

Stabbing Merle over and over hadn't brought Daryl relief. The destruction he'd wrought on his brother's skull didn't dispel his rage. He felt that he'd only shut down and hardened. His anger at the world opened a new door to darkness and released a loneliness that told him he'd just grown up. No one would call him little brother again. He used to long for that day.

As I've said before, writing is my therapy and this is my attempt to deal with the upcoming loss of a character at the hands of Negan. Hope you like it and as always I love feedback of any kind as long as it's respectful.

I don't own The Walking Dead. After Negan is introduced to the group, Michonne finds herself in his company as she agrees to join the The Saviors on a four month contract. Everything we did now just seemed pointless. Before the dead came back to life, I had been a doctor. I saved people. Now I was stuck with my asshole brother and a whole camp full of people I didn't like. Daryl/OC. Strong language and some adult content.

Rhiannon (OC) has been alone in the world with no one but her faithful companion, Hadley, by her side for about a year. One day, hunting in the woods, she meets Daryl, who brings her to Alexandria. (Rated M for chapters to come)

I own nothing of The Walking Dead or it's characters. My story is going to feature all the characters younger than they presently are, and I'm wanting the zombie apocalypse to take place in the 1970's instead of now. Less technology. Still figuring out the story, but here's the first chapter for now.

I was trying to write a story similar to the old movie Body Heat with Kathleen Turner and William Hurt...but I can't write Daryl as a man so foolish as to be fooled by a woman, and I can't write him as a jerk...so the story is writing itself regardless of what I had planned...it's darker than my other stories...as always constructive criticism is appreciated.

I saw an interview with Norman Reedus in which he discussed his interest in Daryl getting a dog as a companion, which had been nixed-for now at least. I thought the idea had potential. And I picked the breed specifically because of their reputation-due to lack of knowledge about the breed. I have many friends with Pits as pets, and they really are one of the sweeter breeds.
