When Carol takes a snitching Sam out to the wilderness to "take care of him" in this alternate reality-as well as to rub out a certain cannibal queen who turns up alive-she finds out the reality of the boy's home situation. Momentarily, she relents in her plan...until she finds a scumbag of a substitute in the lackey who left Noah behind at the revolving door.
