This is an AU Caryl story set almost two decades ago. A young Carol is being stalked by Ed Peletier and Daryl struggles to protect her. Expect to see the television characters and some original characters be slightly different. There will be time jumps as the story goes along. Most of these original characters belong to TWD and I am just borrowing them for a bit.

Carol left Ed 9 months ago and went to live with Andrea and Michonne. She met Daryl attempting to just hook up, but it turned into much more, that is until he was deployed over seas and the short relationship came to an end. But she needs to get in contact with him again, and the sooner the better.

The story is set directly after season 5 episode 3: Tara struggles with her internal demons, but finds solace in her new friends, Glenn and Maggie. As their friendship deepens, Tara has yet to discover how exactly to fit in with the married couple.

She thought she'd never see him again, and in her head she'd accepted that. Her heart was another story... Unofficial Sequel to Touch.

Daryl isn't doing so good after Merle's death, but he hides it well. However, Rick sees through him and tries to make the Redneck talk. It takes some time, but Daryl finally opens up.
