Daryl and Beth find themselves falling into an excellent situation, one that gives them hope for finding the rest of their family. Daryl's convinced that if they can just find Rick, finding the rest of their family will be easy as pie. Rick/Daryl, some side pairings including Maggie/Glenn and maybe others but Rickyl is the focus.

What if the Dixon's knew the Greene's before the ZA took place? What if Daryl met Beth when he was just a teen? What if the Dixon's are the reason Hershel decided to quit drinking? What if all these what-ifs were put into one Zombie Apocalypse story? What if that story was this one? How would these what-ifs change the outcome & story line of The Walking Dead? A story about a woman finding her way trying to survive, she looses her group but finds herself needed by another. While the story has the characters of the show it will deviate in terms of developing my OC... Eventual/possible Daryl/OC... I do not own any of these characters only my OC's.

Bethyl! Looking over her shoulder she could see his legs, tangled in the sheets from earlier activities and finally resting after months stuck in a perpetual doomsday. They were safe now. She couldn't miss that sleeping. But her small lips weren't smiling. She was just restless, an earth-real being trapped in this world. And there was nothing that he could do to save her.

His hard exterior kept everyone at a distance for the most part. No one bothered to get close enough to look passed the explosive anger he often wore in his eyes as a shield to keep anyone that dared take a second glance from taking a third.
